Great music if you are in the mood for it. Jazzy, classic Sinatra in his peek. I will say it’s a bit redundant. Nothing ground breaking, just all time great crooning.

Of all the U2, not my favorite. Lots of hits but just too uninspired for my taste. Trying to be rock stars that they thought they were but out of their sweet spot.

Great record. Tumblin Dice is such a classic. I can appreciate that Keith was in love with the US Blues movement. Amazing riffs straight out of the delta.

Awesome album. Fantastic beats. This is why we listen to whole albums and not just “the hits”.

Get to add context. Man was I surprised by how much I loved this album. Country boo, old Willie Nelson “on the road again” not a fan at all. This recording was great. Really touched me. Still country, but over all solid. 7.8

Fun music I had not heard of before

I get the historical significance… and is wild to listen to. Johnny Rotten was still a punk rocker and angry. Fun listen probably won’t pick it out again though.

I love fusion and crossover music. This was a bit too out there for me.

Really fun, takes me right back to MTv days. It was cool to hear some newer songs, didn’t really appreciate their skills back then. War Pigs was a pleasant surprise, didn’t add much to the original, but I played it more than once anyway. 7.5

This is why I signed up! New artist to me and it’s amazing music. Quickly songs and song titles super talented musician. 8.7

Loved it! Life on Mars?, Queen B##ch, everything, so great. It was Bowie discovering who he was to me. Not just a musician, an entertainer and a storyteller. Rating 9.2

After reading reviews (not doing that again) I was worried. I liked this a lot. It’s rockabilly and punk mixed together I feel like. I thought sure they would at least be 80s but they were 70s. Cool sound and I had never heard it before. 6.2

Eurythmics was disappointing. Echo was not. I think I like this probably because it’s early. Good not great but way more rock and guitar that I thought. 6.2

It’s fine. Nice bluesy rock album. I personally think Jim Morrisons legacy is bigger than his music. I could only envision him being propped up behind a mic and blurting out his ramblings. Then he would leave to go on killing himself. Sad really 5.6

Not even a great Neil Young album. Not sure how it can be top 1001. Time will tell but I’m not loving this merry go round. 5.0. Cinnamon Girl is the best song and I would rather hear any other of his big hits.

I liked This album was so much better than white light/white heat super impressed. Now I know the allure of the Velvet Underground. The song heroine is brilliant produced by Andy Warhol is a super plus. 7.0

Thought I would enjoy. Blew me away. So good - all very listenable. Hard to believe it was 1979. Year of Disco and Disco Sux movements. Thoughtful lyrics, great variety, yet distinctively The Clash. Moves furthest up my list as far as great albums of anything else I have heard, by FAR, on this list. 9.2

Tooting my own luck here. 5 amazing albums after many, many, duds. Thank you 1001 generator for smiling on me this week! Time to change my medications back to I’m sane. Billy Joel’s and mine best relationship by far. Thought out story telling that shows his timelessness. Really great compositions and piano. Voice that is iconic. Thanks Billy! 9.1

Really good, I would argue this is the "best" solo Beatles album. It's solid. Bonus points for My Sweet Lord - definitely in my all-time favorite songs list. 7.0

I have been very aware of this album for a long time. I dont think I ever heard any of it before. It's wild that I can only picture the the guy on the cover singing the songs. I just learned right now that he was in the Pixies band. Good wild short songs. I will give it multiple listens because I am barely getting in the groove and mood of the song and it changes. So far 5.6
