I guess I just didn’t get it. I was a little too jarring; can’t see myself listening to it again.
I guess this is what a five looks like! Knew I liked Muse. Didn’t realize how many of their good songs were on this album.
This would be a strong two closer to a three, but still a two. Just don’t imagine listening to it again. The songs felt like they were all over the place. A few seemed like they were just a chorus, repeated over and over.
The music was nice but I do not like the sound of their voices.
Did not realize how many hits were on this one album.
I’m a sucker for Xmas songs.
This verged on a 2 but it’s not so bad I’d turn it off. But Cars and Cars comes close.
Got to be a pretty good recording and performance for me to get into a live album. This was not either.
Bonus credit for truly being a single entity album
Never appreciated how similar in style some of these songs are to Nirvana. Also never appreciated how good this album is.
If not for the couple of classics this would be a two.
Can’t hear this without thinking of Out R Inn’s back patio.
Honestly, not one of my favorite Radioheads. But even bad Radiohead is still three.
This was better than I expected, but I expected it to be a 2.
It’s neat that this is early Iggy Pop but this is not my thing at all.
I must have listened through in the 2000s bc I recognize most songs. Not as good as I remember though.
This is on the edge of a three but I think I’d come back to it so calling a four.
Plenty of good songs here, just not quite my kind of good songs.
This one felt like work to get through
Faded into the background. When I did notice it was hard to tell songs apart. Lots of saxophones.
Don't know a lot about Steely Dan, or therefore Donald Fagen. Sounds a little too smooth-jazzy for me.
I liked the energy in this but there are two many instances where the improv devolved into noise for me.
Would not have expected to like this as much as I did.
I knew from the cover and year, but went in with an open mind. I was right.
I don't know what to even say other than it's not my thing.
More hits than I realized on here. Not sure I've heard Good Feeling before, but really enjoyed it in particular.
Brand new band for me - pulling at least one song from it into my mix: "Save What You Can"
Found many songs to be catchy, even if the themes are not. Songs to come back for: He Can Only Hold Her (but several more I liked)
Song to come back for: No Suprises, Marma Poloce (maybe)
Extra credit for each song sounding so unique. Song to come back for: Solsbury Hill
Was nice to hear something a little different, but not sure I'd come back to it.
Songs: Desperado/The Last Resort
I think it says a lot that the only song I slightly liked was the cover of Grapevine.
Songs: Blue Eyes Cryin in the Rain
Songs: Castles Made of Sand
Songs: Travelin Band, Looking Out My Back Door, Run Through the Jungle, Up Around The Bend, Who'll Stop The Rain, Long As I Can See The Light
Songs are very short, fairly simple. Nice to listen to if it was on, but didn't hear anything I'd make a point to come back for.
Songs: Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Time After Time
Songs: Communication Breakdown, I Can't Quit You Babe
Didn't do much for me. Did like 'Torn Curtain'
There are multiple songs on here to save, will need to come back and listen again
Songs: Straight Outta Compton
This was an interesting album - I liked listening to it as a whole, but I'm not sure there's a single song that I'd ever play on its own
Wouldn't have called myself a Fleetwood Mac fan but there's too many good songs on here to not give it a 5
Songs: Promised You a Miracle
Songs: Me and Bobby McGee, Cry Baby
Songs: Auf Achse, Take Me Out
Songs: Wheels of Confusion, Changes, Laguna Sunrise,
Influential <> Music I love
Songs: Sunday Morning
Knew I'd like this and still was better than expected.
Songs: God Save the Queen, Anarchy in the UK
Liked it more than I'd expected. Strong 3.
Songs: Shane Bradley, Thousands are Sailing, Fairytale of New York (maybe)
I liked this more than expected. Probably the only reason it's not in contention for a five is The Murder Mystery song.
Songs: Candy Says, What Goes On, Pale Blue Eyes, Beginning to See the Light (maybe), After Hours
Songs: Two Out of Three Ain't Bad, Paradise By the Dashboard Light
Have heard We Are Family so often I assumed I knew this group. One of the first times I was really glad to listen with headphones, very intricate songs.
Songs: He's the Greatest Dancer, We are Family
New artist to me. Songs were pretty good, just a little melancholy for my music tastes.
Was originally going to call this a four, but based on the number of songs I'm noting I'm giving it all five.
Songs: Too many to list right now, maybe all of them, will listen again.
The second half really salvages this album.
Songs: Every Breath You Take, King of Pain, Wrapped Around Your Fingers, Murder by Numbers
Certainly in my top five albums of all time
Songs: Come Away With Me, Lonestar
Much stranger than I expected
Songs: Dear Someone, Everything is Free
Songs: Time to Pretend, Kids
Giving this an extra star for such a good use of stereo sound.
Songs: Monday Monday, California Dreamin, The In Crowd
This is the first album where I remember liking it as a teenager but didn't care for it now.
Songs: Fast Car, Across the Line
Songs: Return of the Grievous Angel, Love Hurts, Medley Live from Northern Quebec
Really surprised this is solidly a 70's album, feels very 80's to me but maybe that's just when I heard all the songs. Born To Run is good but the live one is still better!
Songs: Thunder Road, 10th Avenue Freeze-Out, Born to Run
Songs: All Tomorrow's Parties
Songs: Can't Truss It, Bring Tha Noise
Turn To Stone, Sweet Talkin Woman, Mr Blue Sky, Birmingham Blues
New band to me. Have heard there name but don’t think I’ve heard a song before.
Songs: viorar vel til loftarasa, Olsen olsen
Songs: Once, Evenflow, Alive, Black, Jeremy
Songs: Bittersweet Symphony
I expected to like this but a little too rough on the edges for me
Songs: Don't Look Back in Anger, She's Electric, Champagne Supernova
Songs: Fu-Gee-La, Killing Me Softly With His Song, No Woman No Cry
I think this goes into the category where good art and something I want to listen to again are diverging.
Songs: Heroes
Marking this as a four mostly because I'm still not sure what I think and want to come back. Feels different than a lot of what has been on the list so far.
Songs: The Lightning Back
Songs: Sunday Bloody Sunday, New Years Day, Two Hearts Beat As One, 40
Songs: Immigrant Song, Tangerine
Songs: Son of a Preacher Man
New band to me that I'll listen to more of!
Songs: Bewilderbeast, Pissing in the Wind, Say It Again
Reminded me a lot of smooth jazz
Not so strange that it's a one, but I just don't see myself playing this again
Overall I liked this more than I'd have expected.
Songs: Use Somebody
