Feels like pre-Adele, strong Bond song vibes.
Good traditional country, I like the bass line on early morning breeze. It's a good album, just not my cup of tea
Liked it more than I thought, but a very one-note album
Just a vibe. I need more of this.
48 minutes of feeling sad and questioning my life choices. Pretty good album overall, mid experience
Some bangers on this album, pretty close to 5 stars, just missing that it-factor
Fun album. As soon as I recognized Kanye, I told myself "I'm gonna hear about this"
Jah overstand the true power of reggae now.
No notes, mostly bangers, great album
Less interesting than the band name implies, but cool proto-psychedelic rock
Some cool samples, but not very good. The album also jumps around genres a bunch, without excelling at any one in particular.
Cool British alt-rock, with some interesting electronic beats. I enjoyed the listen but probably won't add it to my rotation.
Sounds like the talking heads, and I don't like the talking heads. Too much new wave for me, it felt like there were some good prog-rock riffs that were quickly replaced with dissonance.
I love the White Stripes. Great blues guitar in a garage rock band.
Cool rock album. Some blues, some nice electric riffs, and fun vocals.
I love some Chris Cornell. This album has a few bangers, and I can't wait for an audioslave or STP album.
Really funky samples, and good French flow.
Good jazz, I liked the sax. But a bit too sleepy for my state of mind
Sounded like a less dynamic version of the Smiths, cool British pop.
Solid jazz/swing album. The first live album I've gotten in this project, and part of my rating considers the background noise and announcements included in the album
I will actively avoid listening to this again. Sounds like an aging artist trying to stay relevant with synths, and missing the mark
Fun pop/rock. Reminded me a little bit of Led Zeppelin.
It's good music, I love the guitar and the singing and the drums. Great Vibessssss
Wow, this was better than I expected.
Another cool folksy album. I like the electric guitar mixed in. I haven't listened to much Neil Young before, but I might add it to the road trip rotation. Cowgirl in the Sand is really good.
V funky and v groovy. I like the synths and the beats and all of it.
I think I've heard better from Emmylou. Still a solid album
Good early grunge album.
Everytime I listen to Metallica, I like them more. This album did not disappoint.
They have a timeless quality that makes the albums easy to listen to.
This album is already in my regular rotation. But I'm not sure how it stacks up to the other albums that I've listened to in this project. It didn't move me the same way a 5 star album would
I liked this more than I expected. It was poppy, groovy, with some 80s flair.
Wow, this album has some straight heat. It's a long album, but I think it uses each song wisely. The guitar is nuts, some of the singing is really soulful, and I loved almost every song. I don't know if it would get a 5-star review on every listen, but I'm glad I listened to this before I died.
Great metal album, one of the first albums that got me listening to heavier stuff. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I good.
Funky instrumentals. Not all songs were compelling, but there are some really good soundtracks in here.
I made a mistake only giving 3 stars to a Duke Ellington live album, and I won't make that mistake again. Sam Cooke has a strong voice, and the live album amplifies his persuasion on the audience. I'd probably give the studio recordings for these songs 4 stars, but the live album makes it a strong 4.5-5star record.
Nice alt-rock album. I get a lot of flavors from other rock groups in this album and listened to it multiple times. Some guitar licks that I've heard in Cage the Elephant, some that remind me of Smashing Pumpkins. I'd give this 3.5 stars, but will round up.
Great album, never in doubt about it's quality. Cool backstory, and easy to mistake this for a 70s rock band.
The more I listen, the more I like Metallica. There are some great metal instrumentals on this album.
Fun jam band vibes with generally good vibes.
All the hits that I know from this band, and some new stuff with nice blues guitar.
Chill music. Probably would be better to listen on a long drive through Nebraska instead of walking through the airport. I struggle to enjoy singer-songwriter stuff more.
It's called classic rock for a reason. It's upbeat, fun, got loud guitar riffs. Great for guitar hero
I don't know what I'm listening to, but I respect the vision. Very interesting tracks and a great reason to stick with this project.
Great outlaw country album. It's like a breath of fresh air, with a cup of coffee or whiskey overlooking a grassy plain and lamenting to your friend about the world. And there's no happier feeling. Soft 4.5 stars.
I enjoy expanding my metal catalog. This is a solid album, and holds its weight against Black Sabbath. I bet it would be a lot better live or with a stronger sound system. For Bluetooth headphones, I rate this a strong 3.5-4 stars.
Ratings probably hurt because I just listened to Judas Priest, and I like that group more. I give this a soft 3.5 stars, rounded down. The guitar is faster, the vocals are more singing vs screeching, and it doesn't hit the same.
Tempted to give this 5 stars. It's emotional, it's timeless, it has bangers. But I'll give it a strong 4-4.5 stars because it's not something I'll reach for as often as the other 5 star albums.
Funky, but you already knew that. I know this is a soundtrack, but I think it stands pretty well on its own as an album. A strong 3 stars, I'd enjoy listening to it again.
A lot going on in this album. 28 songs in 41 minutes with some tonal changes throughout. Nothing bad, but hard to get ahold of any consistent theme. This is music I like, but in a weird style
Holy smokes, I don't think I appreciated the range and power of Michael Jackson. So good that modern popstars build their careers by emulating him.
If rock n roll was dialed down to a Zero. Still fun and poppy, but almost bizarre after listening to more hard rock and metal.
