Not my usual style but was pleasantly surprised
It's definitely a classic but not my style
Perfect Day was the only song I liked. Not a fan of the vocals but the lyrics are good.
I was never really aware of Frank Ocean so was surprised to recognize a couple of songs on this album. Overall I did not super enjoy this one, but Pyramids was a banger
Loved this one from start to finish!
I get that they're influential and important to music... But I just can't see it. I was actually looking forward to exploring more of the Beatles since I only know their most famous hits. This album was such a slog to get through even though it's pretty short. I only liked about one song
Never been a huge fan but I can see the appeal. There's something about the vocals that is off-putting.
Just wasn't pleasant or even interesting
Never liked Green Day and still don't. Welcome to Paradise was the only somewhat interesting song on here, but the rest all sounds the same. Not a fan
This was a great listen. Not my usual style but given the historical context it is really impressive. Such a beautiful voice
Was not expecting this hotel lobby elevator music to be on here. Wasn't bad but I won't find myself coming back to it
What a great singer. Never cared for his music but Tiny Dancer is a good song. The rest of the album, not so much
Not sure how I feel about this. The album cover itself would put me off from ever picking it up. The music isn't bad but not something I will find myself returning to.
Repetitive and forgettable. This is the House is especially cringe.
Title track is a banger!
There is absolutely nothing cool or interesting about this album
Not bad but not my favorite work of his. Fame was my favorite song
Wasn't familiar with this artist but won't necessarily reach for it again
I don't see the point in this
Some pretty cool dark and moody jazz sounds . But would I ever pick up this record and listen to it? Most likely not.
Just an album of covers that don't sound better or even as good as the originals. Hurt isn't bad but had to skip through most of the rest
He has a nice voice but the songs blend in together and nothing stands out. Sounds a bit too upbeat
It was somewhat enjoyable
Mrs. Robinson is good, the other songs not so much
A bit long and the songs all start to sound the same.
I grew up with nu metal and although Korn wasn't my favorite at the time, I can appreciate them now. I loved this but not giving 5 stars due to some problematic lyrics - will skip over those song
This sound just gave me anxiety. Not a fan
As much as the guy sucks, the music isn't terrible
Not a huge fan of southern pride stuff and possible racism. I don't care what was accepted at the time. Musically they are not bad and I enjoy the song Simple Man
It just wasn't very engaging to listen to. I don't doubt that they are very talented and influential to music but I can't pick out a single track.
It was ok but quite long and forgettable
Not bad but not my favorite
Pretty great and unique sound
I can appreciate and vibe with this but not my usual taste
Great sound, enjoyed this a lot
Enjoyable to listen to but would not reach for again
Was a fun listen, not my usual genre so it's nice to discover new things.
Iconic sound. Unfortunately after listening to a full album of it, it does start to get a bit boring and same-y
I have tons of respect for this considering the decade and how influential it must have been. But realistically I would never listen to it again.
Jah Wobble's vocals are irritating. A white dude's attempt at world music that just comes across very surface level and boring. Not quite sure how this made it on here.
It was ok though I'm not sure why it would be included on this list. Nothing stands out
It was okay but the sound is a bit too abbraisive. Some lyrics are a tad cringe
Never heard of this, was excited to see there was a Portishead remix as I am a fan of them. But it was just boring background music. Not sure how this made it on here
Never been a fan, not my style.
Very bluesy. First track reminds me of Funky Town. Did not enjoy this as much as their other works but has a couple bangers
Cool dreamy soundtrack. I'm surprised that this is a genre on here. I was a fan of the movie as a teen, but I feel like if I wasn't I would have enjoyed this less.
I liked their sound but the songs are all quite similar
How many jazz albums will I have to sit through? Still don't like it
This is the kind of stuff I was hoping to discover! Loved it
Not terrible but some songs feel dated and corny
Sounded a bit like Coldplay or Radiohead but worse. Mediocre
Irritating sound, not for me
Only really liked the title track
It was cool considering the time period it came out, however would not listen to again
It was fine but probably will not listen to again
Where is my mind is a fantastic song. Everything else on this album sounds terrible.
Horribly cringe lyrics that only a 13 year old boy going through an edgy phase would enjoy. Silly sound effects and voices make it sound like joke songs. I didn't think I would hate an Eminem album this much
One hit and the rest was mediocre
I did not like the loud to quiet shifts. None of the songs had any melody. Sounds rough and poorly mixed, unpleasant to listen to
Fun and playful sound but I doubt I will ever come back to it
First two songs weren't bad, but what the hell happened after? Hard listen
This was an interesting listen. Unique and eccentric vocals. Not really for me though
Feels a bit unfinished for a member of the Beatles first solo album. You would expect more. I guess that's part of the appeal but it's not for me
Pleasant listen. Sunny Afternoon is a nice track
So many hits but I can't stand them
Lovely smooth voice, sounds like Christmas. Unfortunately there are way too many songs that all sound the same
Ok background music but not interesting
Pleasant enough but probably will not revisit
I really liked the concept but musically it is terrible
Some catchy and poppy songs and the rest is a bit bland. Wonderwall really is a terrible song
Not a fan of jazz but this was one of the better ones I've heard on here.
A couple of good songs and the rest is filler
Surprisingly not bad, but I would not revisit
I like the first song on this album so I was excited to hear the rest because I've never heard them. However, I was a little disappointed. The songs are way too long and the harmonica is incredibly too loud.
Never heard of this but was pleasantly surprised. Lovely sound
This was nice! Folky and cozy
Gorgeous voice, unique genre. Pleasure to listen to
Title track is a banger but the rest don't hold up
Honestly kinda dull and boring
It's okay but I really don't get the hype
Sounds like it's trying too hard to be non-conformists, but ends up just sounding terrible
A classic and a pleasure to listen to
I liked the first song but the rest was a bit abrasive and noisy. It's not bad and clearly that's the point, but not my favorite
Pretty good but not my favorite by them
Pretty good listen, love the guitar style
Great album, love The White Stripes
There was not a single song I enjoyed
Refreshing to hear something vastly different from my normal music taste, but I don't think I would revisit.
Not bad but I was not a huge fan
Cringe and corny. Did not need to listen to this before I die
Talented for sure but I'm not into it
Pretty good, nice guitar sounds, a couple recognizable songs
Never listened to Deep Purple other than their hits. I was not expecting to like it much but Child in Time was good. Not a huge fan of the vocals otherwise
Really enjoy this album just not as much as The Bends
I hated this. Lyrics seem too on the nose and lacking any depth. Did not enjoy a single song
Vocals are slightly grating but otherwise nice sound!
Just sounds terrible. Their only good song is not on this album
It's wasn't terrible, okay background music.
