Come Away With Me

Faux rock. I feel like Kings of Leon made music just to get famous instead of trying to create art. This screams of corporate dick sucking
All the songs sound the same.
I always thought Elvis Costello was overrated. This album proves it.
Epic 9/10 album highlights were Hey Joe, Red House, Purple Haze, Foxey Lady
Perfect blues album, only complaint was that it wasn’t long enough 10/10
Fun album and funky
I’d consider it a classic just for sultans of swing.
Not into it, kinda corny and too wacky for me
Not terrible but just not my kind of music
I don’t understand the hate for this album. Yes Dylan’s voice is unconventional but there are some all time classics on here. Desolation Row is a masterpiece.
Not my favorite post punk album but not bad and can see how this would influence grunge bands in late 80s and early 90s
One of the best auditory experiences of my life.
This album is what dreams sound like. Her voice is angelic.
Hell yeah finally some good shit. You could run through a brick wall after listening to this
I love weird and innovative things like this. They weren’t afraid to do something out of the norm.
This album makes me want to frolic in a medieval pasture.
Nostalgic. The soundtrack to my sophomore year of high school.
Not my favorite Cure album but a classic just for A Forest alone.

Goth vibes that I didn’t know Sonic Youth had. Thoroughly enjoyed it
A punk classic
Epic, Little 15 is my favorite
Iconic
Never heard of this band or album. Not my favorite post-punk album but almost there.
Faux rock. I feel like Kings of Leon made music just to get famous instead of trying to create art. This screams of corporate dick sucking
The album is sexy as hell. I remember seeing the video for Criminal back in the day but never fully appreciated Fiona until this moment.
Boring
All the songs sound the same.
I felt like this would never end. No doubt she’s a great singer just not my music at all. Never liked all these dance party albums of the 2000s
I wanted to hate this so much but there’s something strangely hypnotic about it.
Underrated band really, some songs on here are bangers and should be considered classics
An all time classic, pure 60s psychadelia
There’s a reason why he’s called the King.
I always thought Elvis Costello was overrated. This album proves it.
Apparently in 1978 you could just record you and your friends at the kitchen table with ambient noise in the background and call it music. This is straight trash and shouldn’t even have been allowed to exist much less allowed on this list.
This reminded me of being at a 60s house party.
I can’t explain why but I’ve never really liked Muse even though it should be something I like because it has all the right elements. Maybe if I had to pinpoint something it’s the fact that the singers voice doesn’t really match the music. Too operatic.
Not bad but would never listen to it again. Sounds like a car commercial.
This is kinda like Leonard Cohen where I wanted to hate it but was actually very hypnotic and some of the songs were downright catchy. That being said it was too long and I’ll probably never listen to the whole thing again but I will add a few to my playlist.
A lot of just noise. I like loud and fast music but this just doesn’t hit right.
Awesome and I just learned he played every instrument on this album.
Hell yeah finally the good shit, perfect album for it’s time and place.
This would’ve been one star better had I dropped acid beforehand.
Who is the lead singer Kermit the frog? What an embarrassment this is. Fucking shit band. It’s like something 12 year olds listen to when they first discover music that isn’t their parent’s and think they are edgy.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and can see how it was influential to bands that came after. They really have a sound that was 10 years ahead of its time
Perfect metal album
Solid album, got to add this one to my collection
I love Waylon’s playing and singing and Billie Joe’s songwriting. There are very few perfect country albums and this is one
Super fun album; pure 80s awesomeness. I didn’t realize virtually all of her hits were from this one album.
Very avant garde, nothing special here for me though. It’s decent but nothing to write home about.
I fucking love the cure, every album is brooding and dark.
I hated this when it first came out because it’s more Nickelback than punk rock but hearing it 20 years later it’s not that bad.
Honestly I had my mind prepared for another throbbing gristle like album (if that hasn’t generated for you yet then you’re in for a treat) so was pleasantly surprised by this one. I didn’t mind it but would probably never listen to it again.
My first repeat artist. Hughway 61 revisited was the first which I liked infinitely better. This one was way more bluesy, I didn’t hate it but was not as good as his other albums.
I’ll never understand why people think jazzy stuff like this is genius. Most of the first half was just gibberish and noise
Fun, quick, perfection. This is how you album
My little grunge heart grew three sizes when I saw this as my next generated album. One of the most perfect albums of all time. There are no bad songs on this.
If vanilla had a soundtrack it’d be this
This is ok I guess just nothing special about it. Beginning to really think British pop bands are trash
I usually hate double albums but this was epic. A true prog rock masterpiece.
I love 70s Bowie but this ain’t it
I loved this. Catchy lyrics, quick sweet riffs. Sold four stars from me, would definitely listen to this again
Never did like Chicago rap. Too mellow and this album is not different. All the beats sound the same and it’s way too long
Fast and heavy riffs, cool lyrics. All time classic probably the greatest punk album ever in that it spawned a generation of others
Brian Wilson died yesterday (6/11/25) and then this album pops up. This album is not that bad but it’s not music for me. It’s music for boomers that grew up with The Beach Boys and are nostalgic for that. Some of the songs are catchy but some sound unfinished and silly.
Very experimental, very jazzy, very avant garde. I’m sure this blew peoples minds back in the day. I’m giving it a solid 3 because I respect it and respect Zappa for being different.
Too mellow for me, too easy listening. Im sure in 25 years when I’m an old man I’ll love this album but right now it’s not my thing.
I would have thought there would be a thousand other albums way better than this that could be included in this list. That being said the last four songs were pretty good so it got bumped up a star for that.
Great punk album, a classic in my mind. Definitely get your money’s worth with this one.
