this can folk off, irritating voice and boring melodies
Why are these folk rocks so unappealing? It's boring and that's all I have to say. The sounds are so cliche, the lyrics are so pale, and the harmonies are also just so uninteresting. 2 is the best I can give. The embodiment of BORDOM. How can anyone stand this?

This one made it to my 1001 mediocre albums picked out of a 2nd hand store. To classify this as any sort of “Rock” is blasphemy.

This is really not my style of music. We will see how it goes and if I can find any hidden gems I would have never heard because of the genre. I thought it was country but it's listed as folk. Later on in the record it feels like world/chanting at times. Quite far out of my comfort zone.
I usually like this kind of music. But this one didn't land for me.

I’ve heard Folk music all my life and I really enjoy it but this album was a struggle to get through. Obviously 60s British Folk Rock is different from what we have here in the Appalachians, but still, not much held my interest. Bright spots were Farewell, Farewell and Tam Lin for me, everything else was forgettable.

If I were ever to be detained at guantanamo bay this is the album they could use to torture me.
I understand all the misgivings about the content and the lyrics. However, unlike some of the rap that has been shortlisted, at least this album deserves to be on the list. It’s bond a generation I am going to give it a higher star rating because at least it is a seminal album.

Folk rock garbage. Reminded me of that family guy episode where Peter and Lois get super high and make folk music and in their high minds it sounds awesome but to everyone else it’s terrible.

Not into this at all, but it did blend into the background and wasn't impossible to get through.
This is one convention I won't be attending. I just can't get into this, but I won't bash because it's music. Just not music I enjoy. Hoping this is last time we hear from Fairport. 1
