Touch too much is ACDCs best song and I’ll fight anyone that says differently
The best part about this album is that it ended
They don’t call him the boss for nothing
About as heavy as it gets. Nothing beats that opening riff in supernaut

Talented guys, just don’t feel like it held up. Giving them three stars though because I admire what they were trying to do here
It’s a classic for a reason! It’s not often someone comes along with something to say like de la Roche did. Through in some innovative guitar techniques and turn the energy level up to 11 and you’ve got an album that still holds up 25+ years later.
Im actually not a huge fan of the pre-Walsh era of the eagles but they definitely take it up a notch with him here
Legend
Actually ended up liking this album more than I thought I would. There’s a lot of variety here and the Pixies manage to make their sound more assessable while still retaining some of that uniqueness that made them famous
Anyone that’s able to spearhead a genre revival like this is ok in my book
Great representation of the last dying gasp of the 90s
Not my favorite from him but it’s hard to go wrong with Bowie
Definitely more assessable than her other stuff
I’m not a huge jazz guy but you can’t deny miles Davis’ brilliance. Besides, this is some top tier background music
I about lost my shit when Coconut came on. Should have known that Coke wasn’t clever enough to come up with a jingle like that
Fun album, prefer the more vocal approach he takes with his other albums though
Harmonies are on point but you can tell it’s a bit dated. I’ll give it a 4 just because California dreaming is such a classic
Is there any instrument this guy can’t play??
Fun stuff but I thought it got a little repetitive after awhile
Not gonna lie, I didn’t even make it all the way through this one
Feel like I aged 100 years listening to this. In a good way
Where it all started. Nothing like some good, straightforward rock and roll!
I should listen to more rod stewart
Nice background music but nothing here really did anything for me
Definitely a fun album, about as raw as it gets
Proof that something good came out of the 80s
Usually I don’t like being sad. BUT NOT TODAY
Who says you have to know how to play an instrument to make good music?
Total snooze fest
One jazz album to rule them all
She’s got a great voice, super chill album
Love Lou reed but feel like he can be hit or miss a lot of the time
Iggy’s best work imo. Really manages to keep the raw energy of his earlier work while refining his approach to make it more assertive and assessable
Respect to a legend. Super interesting concept
Usually not a fan of new wave so I was surprised to find myself liking this so much. Great album
Definitely more straightforward rock and roll compared to their later releases. I like their experimentation later on a bit more but this album isn’t bad either
I’ve listened to this album dozens of times and it never gets old
It’s a bit avant garde but I always loved this album. My music teacher in college always used to say that only 1000 people bought this album but every one of them went on to start a successful band
Relax is a classic but the album really drops off in the second half
I liked the title track but thought the rest of the album was pretty boring
Pretty interesting album, enjoyed it much more the second time around
Not a huge Damon albarn fan but this one was heavy enough that I was digging it at times
Not really a fan of missy but those timberland beats as smooth as hell
One of the GOATs
Pretty diverse album and there’s some classic 90s riffs in there.
Classic zeppelin
Blues classic from a real OG
So I’ll start this off by saying that I’ve got nothing but respect for the Beatles and that I do enjoy some of their later work. But the sound they have on this album is one of the reasons I could never get into them, it’s just way too poppy for my tastes.
These guys are so much fun
Chill AF
Best voice in hip hop
Hard to go wrong with Marley. Probably his best work
Definitely more my pace as far as the Beatles go. There’s a lot going on here musically, I can see myself coming back to this one
He’s got a nice voice but I honestly hate this kind of music
This band is so much fun. Heads will roll is a classic (remix is better though)
Really like these guys sound but I think it gets a bit repetitive throughout the album. Still has some bangers on it though
Classic dad rock. Not their best work but there’s still some tasty riffs in there
Feel like I’m going to have heard their entire discography by the time we’re done here. I’m not complaining though
90s electronic music all sounds the same. God awful
If this album doesn’t make you feel like a badass idk what to tell you
I can appreciate the innovation going but my god, why does every country singer sounds so whiny?
Iconic album, changed music forever
I’m more of a man after having listened to this
Not gonna lie, this one was a bit too jazzy for me
Makes me want to find a good pub somewhere
Love the innovation here even it gets weird at times
Might be good if I was trying to take a nap
I love the sound of heavy metal in the morning
Gotta show some RESPECT to this album
Classic, probably Jays best work
Really showcases the skills of a real OG. Nothing like some good old fashioned RnR
Just ok. No clue how this got ranked as #56 of all time by RS
Touch too much is ACDCs best song and I’ll fight anyone that says differently
Hard to believe this album came out in the 80s
RIP to one of the GOATs
There’s a lot to unpack here and I can understand how it’s not for everyone but I appreciate the variety and willingness to try something new
Not even my app time favorite song can save this from being a dud
Best debut album of all time? No, but damn if this one isn’t ambitious
Definitely an interesting sound for the 90s. There’s some legit bangers on here
Surprised at how many songs I knew, great album. Curtis is the man
Staying alive pretty much sums up my experience listening to this album
Actually ended up liking this more than I thought I would
Boobs
Great voice but not really my thing
GOAT love album. Guitars don’t get much better than this
Not gonna lie, I was surprised by this one
Never understood the appeal of these guys
Who knew that common the actor could rap so well
Never been a fan of Enos
Reminds me of a young chuck D
More like not garbage
Love this album so much. Tons of variety and the playing is on point. This is about as good as rock n roll gets
Not his best album but it’s hard not to like the boss
Started out with a bang but went downhill fast
I dig it but they’re didn’t age that well in my opinion. Also, never would have guessed these guys were Scottish
I bit preachy but I like the sound. Reminds me of frank turner
Thought this would be harder to like than it was but the musicianship is on point here
Was a little disappointed given fast car. Had high expectations and overall a bit much for me but still not bad
You can’t kill the metal
Not gonna lie, actually liked this more than I thought I would
Better than I thought it’d be honestly
Doesn’t get much better than this. James Hatfield might be the coolest guy alive
Loved how raw this was, most original thing I’ve heard in awhile
All due respect to mr Womack but baby making music doesn’t really do it for me
Interesting enough
Started off strong but quickly got into everything I hate about the 80s
Boo
Interesting stuff, reminds me a bit of nick drakes early work
Really enjoyed this one
Everything the 80s got right
Interesting album, enjoyed the energy
Reminds me of the talking heads but without the talent
Pretty adequately named album. Love the energy
Love hearing different kinds of music. Guy is a hell of a guitar player
Really surprised by this album and not in a good way. Was expecting it to be more like paper planes, which was clearly the standout here. Would have given it a one star if not for that song being on it
Enjoyed it but it’s a bit slow for me and thought it went on for way too long
Kinks are underrated
Loved the variety, thought it stretchers on a bit too long though
Peak dad rock
A bit rough around the edges but definitely an interesting sound
Enjoyed it but thought it sounded a bit more dated than village green which I enjoyed more
Some legit classics on here and loved their use of samples. Sounded repetitive at times though
Can’t help feeling like all just sounds super generic. It wasn’t even that I disliked it, I just found it boring
Hear a lot of the 90s in this, was surprised to hear recognize so many of the songs on here
Don’t understand the appeal, sounds like her voice is breaking every other word
Liked it more than I thought I would, really interesting album. It’s easy to forget that genesis started off doing art rock like this, I honestly prefer way more than the direction Phil Collins took them later on
This is fine
Nobody has the energy little Richard has. Crazy how well his work has held up over the years
Classic album, even today no one sounds like the pixies. Love how they’re able to blend more commercial sounds with some of their more out there ideas. A lesser band wouldn’t be able to pull that off
Everything I hate about 80s music
I love the work that he did with moby grape but I think his talent was spent at this point. It’s too bad, really make you wonder what could have been
Always thought of them as the bittersweet symphony band but clearly there’s more to them than that. Really enjoyed this
I’m a big fan of the hits off of this album but it tends to drone on when listening to the whole thing
Not their best work but still a classic in my book
Surprised I’d never heard of these guys before, album was decent enough
Total snooze fest until it’s not and then it just sucks
Went into it not expecting to like it but the album definitely has its moments. Felt like it went on for way too long though
Pretty generic stuff, I don’t recall one song after having listened to the whole thing
Boring as hell
Ambitious, you can definitely tell how influential this album was
Thanks, I hate it
Great songwriting and a great voice. Can’t ask for more than that
Fun album, a lot going on here
Not their best work but still some great stuff here. I’d actually never heard this one before, definitely going to need a second listen at some point
Pretty good as far as dance music goes
Super raw, love the sound
Good background music but not much more than that
Great album, all the playing is on point and muddys being muddy. Mannish boy might be the greatest opening track of all time
It’s a classic for a reason
Love the variety here, great album
I appreciate that this list doesn’t solely focus on western music in. Never would have listened to this otherwise and it’s really interesting
I get the appeal, just not for me
RIP to legend. Songwriting doesn’t get much better than this
Great songwriter, great voice. What’s not to like?
Really brings me back, great album
About as good as guitar gets. The solo in tornado of souls gets me everytime
About as heavy as it gets. Nothing beats that opening riff in supernaut
I’m all for the world music we’ve been getting. Ginger baker might be the best drummer of all time
Love the contrast between the first and second halves of the album. Hard to believe so many of his hits had been written before 1966. GOAT songwriter
Interesting to hear Bjorks early work but not really for me
A little too chill for me but good music regardless
The 80s were a mistake
Seems repetitive at times but there are some great tunes on here
Really interesting style and great production. Great album overall
Classic
It’s put together well enough but nothing really grabs me here
Way better than I thought it would be
Such a fun album
Never really listened to Sinatra before and while it’s not really for me I get the appeal. Great background music regardless
Great album, love als singing
Classic that never gets old
This albums fun as hell
Initial reaction was that I was going to hate it but it actually grew on me by the end
Started off strong but got a bit depressing by the end
Beat from the intro track had me hooked. Insane features
This isn’t for me
Super talented group of guys, really interesting album
I have tons of respect Mingus and there’s clearly some talented playing going on here but this is the type of jazz that I feel like I really don’t understand
Look at me, I’m cultured!
You can definitely hear the influence this guy had on the folk scene here
I generally really like punk rock but this one didn’t really do it for me
Such a classic album. Everything is on point here from the singing to the drums. One of the best grunge albums of all time
Pretty unmemorable
Classic. RIP to a legend
I dig the variety, was surprised at how many songs I knew on this one
The nostalgia is strong with this one
Definitely not my style
Fun album but a little too 80s for my taste
If this isn’t a five star album then I don’t know what is
Harmonizations don’t get much better than Crosby
Thanks, I hate it
Starting to think this Van Halen fella might be good at guitar
This is fine
This works way better than it has any right to
Raw as they come
Fine as far as background music goes
Incredibly boring
Think what you want about the man, this albums a classic
To get kicked out of Metallica and go on the record something like this - pretty incredible
The beginning of something special
I get this is supposed to be a parody but man that was rough
The best part about this album is that it ended
Finding new artists like this is the reason I love this list so much
The kinks might be the most underrated band of all time
I say yes to yes
Pretty forgettable honestly
Bowiesque
Funky as hell, great background music
People actually listen to this?
Fun album
Nick drake might be the most under appreciated artist of all time
Classic, even if they did steal all the songs on it
Not my favorite work by him but still a good album
Classic
They don’t call him the boss for nothing
Never heard of these guys before but I’m a fan
I’ve got tons of respect for iggy but this album never really lived up to the hype for me
Fun album
Weird album, not bad background music though
Honestly there aren’t many reggae albums that I don’t enjoy. Great vibes
Classic
Interesting, can’t really see myself going back to it though
Post grunge era had its merits
Peak psych rock
Not generally something that I would listen to but I’ll admit that it was a lot more fun than I was expecting
Great stuff
When a cover is the best song on your album you might need to rethink things
Pioneers in their own right
Way better than I was expecting, holds up really well
Not the doors best but still some classic tunes on here
Steely Dan is a solid four star band
Lyrics leave a lot to be desired but honestly not as bad as I thought it would be
This might be my favorite album from a band I’ve never heard of that we’ve gotten so far
May not be his best but it’s hard not to like beck
You can’t trust someone that doesn’t like QOTSA
I’m starting to think these Pink Floyd guys might be talented
Fun stuff
Boring
I appreciate the diversity of this list but this ones not doing it for me
This album rocks
Classic

We’ll that’s one way to start off an album

Dawn of the southern rock
Superstitious makes this a 5 star album by itself
Talented guys
Pretty upbeat by cohens standards
I’ve never been a big fan but found myself nodding along at times. That said, it went on way too long near the end
Thank god for jack white
Probably one of the most underrated bands from this era
Nothing like an Appalachian murder ballad
My dad hates this album but what does he know
I liked it, sue me
More like definitely yes
One of the most underrated songwriters out there
Appropriate title, definitely feel like I lost a bit of my soul on this one
Jay Z is a lucky man
Steven Tyler might be a sell out but damn if he doesn’t make good music
Not bad
Came in thinking this would be a crappy 90s era electronic album for some reason. Was surprised to find it was a lot more than that
I’d actually never heard this album all the way through before. Really had me in the first half but almost put me to sleep after that
Pretty forgettable honestly
I can get why some people might not like this album but man have I always loved the energy in it
Guitar work saved this album for me
Guitar doesn’t get much better than this
Is Janis Joplin the greatest singer of all time? No, but damn if she isn’t great
Not gonna lie, liked it more than I thought I would
The nostalgia is strong with this one
It’s a classic for a reason
Always thought these guys were underrated. Opening track is a banger
I’d listened to this album before but something about it clicked this time. Fun stuff
Scott walker has to have had the most interesting musical progression of all time
Better than I thought it would be. Some really interesting stuff here
Fun album, brings back a lot of memories
Just when you think Metallica can’t get any better they go and pull something like this
Bjork sounds like a word I would use to describe this music
Ok this one’s pretty good
Poor man’s bob dylan
Chuck D is great in his own right but the anthrax feature is worth four stars alone
He’s the boss for a reason
Great variety
Love the energy. The world needs more artic monkeys
The world needs more Freddie mercury
Apparently I have no style
As much respect as I have for prince I could never really get into the 80s pop rock sound. That said love the guitar work
I’m a simple man. I hear the boss I vote five stars
That into guitar solo is hard to beat

They don’t make rap like this anymore
Songwriting doesn’t get much better than this
He’s the king for a reason
Can’t quite put my finger on it but something about these guys has always bugged me
Well done sir
Concept album for the agea
Garage rock at its finest

Peak Clapton
Enjoyed it but not sure I’ll ever understand the hype around frank
I love little Michael
Inject this straight into my veins
Good vibes
Good stuff
Good songwriting but I can’t get over the vocals
Never trust a man that doesn’t think this album deserves five stars
You’d be hard pressed to find a chiller album than this one
Thank god that’s over
Great songwriting but the singing hasn’t aged the best
Very hot or miss but it had its moments
Grade A songwriter but I feel like this is one of those albums you have to listen to a couple of times before it really sinks in
My ears may never forgive me
King of cool
Poppa was a rolling stone is a classic. Glad to see the rest of the album holds up as well
One hit wonder but there’s some other standouts here. That said this album is way too long
Weird as hell and I’m here for it. Can’t remember the last time I heard so much variety on an album.
Ah so that’s why this album is so insanely popular
It might be overplayed these days but no denying there’s hit after hit here
Aptly named
Thanks, I needed that

Grunge’s forgotten hero’s
Not my vibe
A little too eighties for my taste
Usually can’t stand these guys but this one was at least tolerable
I like the talking heads as much as the next guy but at this rate we’re going to have listened to their entire discography by the time we get done with this list
Started off with a bang but then never really went anywhere from there

Finally, an album by Radiohead that lives up to the hype
One of the best voices in country
🤘🤘🤘🤘
Dazed and confused anyone?
So much potential with that name, such a shame
I don’t even know what to say about this one. If I wanted to be trapped in a musical I would have gone to broadway
Definitely hear the early 90s alt rock influence here. Gets a little slow for my taste after the first couple of songs though
Funky as they come. Some real gems here obviously but I always thought it ran a bit long
There’s a lot of good stuff here but always thought this guy was kind of full of himself
Boring
It’s not the same anymore but I’ll admit I couldn’t help singing along to man in the mirror

Makes me want to go to a festival
Not bad, but definitely could have gone without that mother track
I am not a machine apparently
Always enjoy the variety here
LSD is a hell of a drug. Always super interesting to see where some of these legendary bands come from though
Should have been called 10/10
It’s like every time they get something interesting going they feel the need to throw in something avant garde so people know they’re still cool
Man this album went on for way too long. Rare DNF
Honestly a really fun album
Bring back MTV unplugged
Not as refined as some of their later albums but brings back a lot of memories
Not bad
I’d give it six stars if I could
I’ve cold

Interesting
Man the 80s must have been rough
Very chill
Not usually a dance music kind of guy but this goes hard
Not bad but kind of trails off at the end. Some classics on here for sure though
Sounds just like steely Dan!
Ah the 90s
Lou reeds best album
🤘🤘🤘🤘
I do love that guitar
This went on for way too long
Not bad but got a bit jarring towards the end
I dig the rawness of it
Not usually a big fan of PJ but this album had its moments
Hot take: this is the best Beatles solo album
Funny I’d actually never listened to this before
Imagine how good this album would be if the title track was actually any good
Love the vibe
I don’t think I’ll ever get bjork but this one was interesting at least
Meh
Oddly relaxing
Surprisingly enjoyed this
🤟🤟🤟🤟
Gotta love a good harmony
Think I got pregnant listening to this
Fun album
Usually not a big fan the who but this goes pretty hard
Title song is epic
Is this what it feels like to chew five gum???
I respect Zappa more than I like him
Lemmy in speed > lemmy on acid
Fun album
Too much going on at once here
I can see why zeppelin wanted to rip them off
Man this did not age well
Fun but got a little grating towards the end
I can only imagine the amount of Mountain Dew that must have been drank when making this
Certified bangers here but honestly way too long
Quite the jam
Man I bet he would have been great to see live
Not for me
Vince Neil should be in prison
Honestly not as bad as I thought it would be
Would have been nice if I could listen to this whole thing on Spotify
These guys were definitely in the fair port convention lol
Sound is a bit harsh
Felt like I was stuck in a weird James Bond movie
Actually liked this way more than I thought I would
I’m a certified U2 hater but their is no denying they know how to write a song
Not sure why but this album rubbed me the wrong way
Everything I hate about the 80s
Man I’m sick of skits in rap albums
Guy has great tone
Always so weird hearing Ice cube rap like this given what he’s been up to these days
Surprisingly relaxing
Can’t help but think this didn’t age too well
Na
A little long but I actually really enjoy it
Honestly was never a big fan but this might be enough to change my mind
Always found these guys interesting but their music is a little too weird for me
Not for me
It’s a classic for a reason
No idea what she’s saying but I dig it
Fun enough
Not my favorite by her but it’s hard not to love that voice
Not a great work listen
Refreshing
Kind of boring
Interesting album, appreciate the genre bending
Not my favorite by him but it is Paul Simon. Hard to go wrong
Background music
Not as bad as I thought it would be but the bar was pretty low
Idk if it just finally clicked for me or what but I usually don’t like Costello and ended up loving this album
