RadioheadRadiohead - but Jazzy?
Radiohead - but Jazzy?
One good song
3 Good songs, Mr. Brightside being a big one of course.
Not my thing at all ... I hated it
I have heard of her but never heard her music, very jazzy and I honestly liked it.
John Coltrane is a king in the Jazz community and I know of this album's fame, but it is just not my thing.
Never heard of them, but I liked the album. A nice surprise this morning,
Ooooohhh .. We gettin' Funky today!
Classic Southern Rock Album with Super Long Tracks and jam sessions
Very EDM-ish, not my style
Groovy. I had never heard of them, not had my 72 year old Dad, but typical band from that era and I liked there more popular peers better
I am back in the 80s at my Grandparent's house just waking up from my sleep over and having some horribly unhealthy breakfast in a cigarette smoke filled house with this playing on the stereo
Absolute Classic
What the heck was that! No! Just No!
Classic
Absolute Classic
Kinda like if Cranberries and a Baz Luhrmann had a baby
Nope, nope, nope. I need a break from the obscure UK bands
Kentucky Rain is one of my favorite Elvis songs. This is a perfect example of why even 50 years after this album was made, Elvis is still beloved
Hated it ... Can I give less than one star?
Surprised that I liked it. Much more mellow than I expected.
Remember the Magic Kingdom Electrical Parade? No? Play this album and you will
Absolute classic!
Not much into repetitive dance music. I do remember "Around the World" though
I liked it, a very diverse album
It's quirky, but brilliant. A very surprising find
This was THE ALBUM my sixth grade year! So many memories
Surprisingly fun
Classic
It's the genre, not the ablum
Better than expected
Great Album!
The surprises keep coming ... This website is fun
The surprises keep coming ... This website is fun
C'mon ... you know what this is
I know it might be a sin, but I just don't care for Bowie outside a couple of his big hits
Not their best album, but it's still Nirvana
Another surprise
Meh
Okay
One of the greatest albums of all time!
Soothing Piano Jazz that makes me want to ride an elevator
I don't know how I didn't know of this album, but it was great
More Jazz ... So much Jazz
Meh
Okay
Beautiful Voice, Boring Album
As a Millennial, this one hits different. I saw Britney perform this album at Grad Night in 1999
One of the greatest albums of all time
Legend. Not my type of music but a legend none-the-less
More Reverb Please!
There is an awful lot of Bowie on this list
So inapropro
Classic
Another surprise
It's Paul Simon for goodness sakes
It was weird
Meh
Great Album
Meh!
Radiohead - but Jazzy?
Weir and political ... a fitting combination
Meh ...
Okay
I must like Folksy music because I liked this one to0
If Middle School boys got together to create an album, this would be it!
Super Fun!
Made myself get through the first track and I couldn't get any further
Okay
No Bueno
It was okay
I don't know why, but this album feels like summer
Okay
This album is "Alright"
Classic
They really needed the Funk
Classic
Okay, I like Chicago, but this is weird
Ugh
80s Hip Hop is fun!
I am tired of giving out ones, but who the heck is picking these albums!?!
Another Surprise
I love everything about this!!!
Every single song had an E next to it
Meh
There is no bad blood with this album. it has style. So shake off that negativity and I wish you would take that blank space and fill in 5 stars!
I like this Black Sabbath album. It is not nearly as hard as I thought it would be
Better than I thought
Another nice surprise
As a child of the late 80s these songs still dominated the Easy Listening station well into my late childhood. Such a great album and brings back memories of late night rainy drives in the back of the station wagon.
A Classic, but a little bit boring
Just okay
Couldn't make it past the first song
The Queen of Soul. This album is pure gold!
Meh
I Willy liked this one!
Another surprise from the list! Mellow almost country feel.
Tears for Fears, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, they all kind of sound the same. It was a time period that had a definitive sound.
It's Queen .. just a little bit more boring than expected.
One of the greatest alums of all time!
They sound like the period they came from
I don’t k ow any merging about KD Lang, but I love this album!
I have heard of them and they are not my style of music, but I kind of agreed with every machine they were raging against.
A new worst ... Congrats!
Good.
I am trying not to give out so many one stars, but I just couldn't get through the album. The sound itself is hard to listen to, while the structure isn't much better.
Okay ... A little disappointed that the horse wasn't heard on the album itself and was just there for the album cover.
Nice background music
It is Folksy, which I normally like, but somehow this seems boring and like it is trying too hard to be something it isn't. The only song I liked was covered by Pentatonix and they did a much better job.
Meh
Not really into EDM
This is one of the defining albums of a generation.
I wanted to like it, honest, but it is just so boring
Smooth, Mellow, and a voice that set a standard.
What in the acid trip did I just listen to?
This is a massive double album with some peaks and valleys along the way. I had never heard of this artist, but it was worth a listen
Great Album. Minus one star for so much saxophone!
Fun and familiar!
No
Classic
Good Stuff
Meh
This doesn't feel at all like 2002. More like the 1970s
Kinda Boring with super long tracks
Love it, Love it, Love it!!
Not my thing
It smells like Teen Spirit
It's not even English!!
I know Bowie is a legend and Starman and Ziggy Stardust are classics, but other than that ... I am just not that into it
Classic!
If you like to hear women screaming ... This is for you
I hope you like jammin' too!
Better than I thought
Sorry Miss Jackson, a 3 is the best I can do
A flagship Police Album
Much more folksy than I thought it would be
I don't like it - But I don't dislike it as much as some of the other junk on this list.
This whole style of music is just not my thing,
Half the movie soundtracks are on this one album
Meh
This is the sound of my father's childhood. He would sing these songs often.
I like it more than I thought I would. It had that early 1990s vibe to it
I liked it. That white girl got soul
This album sucks, you know what I mean?
Every Blondie song you know and love all on the same album ... Great for us, probably not so much for her. But one way or another, you are going to like this album.
This is great, and for a "debut" album ... it set the tone for generation to come
A little bit boring
One of my all-time favorite Altos. Karen has such a smooth and sultry voice! These are great songs and a very chill album.
Meh!
ZZ Top is always fun
Classic Bowie
Based in the dumb name and the picture I thought I was going to hate this. But it was a very nice surprise. Rounded up and on the start for not being dumb.
Great album songs plus some of the best of the classic. Such a great album. I really like it! What is that? U2?
It was okay
Fun album
The Beatles second release after a whirlwind first year. This is a major album and one that set the band up for it's meteoric rise. Great Album! Great covers!
If Hippies were hired to play at a Medieval Fair, this is probably the album they would make. Still, not anywhere near the bottom of the list
Boring
Albums like this make me want to quit doing this journey. It's been a rough streak of boring albums
A solid album
That put the fun in funky!
Another surprise.
As someone who doesn't like jazz all that much this is the "main stream" album that everyone can tolerate. Not a lot of improve and all over the place in the most random ways. Structured, Melodic, and fun,
Another Pleasant Surprise ...
One of the Beatles greatest albums .. but they are all good really
Cet album n'est pas bon et il est en français. Pourquoi est-il même sur cette liste ?
Surprisingly enjoyable!
Better than expected. A Fun album
Not really into that style, but not bad
Great Album
Vulgar, Violent, and everything bad about rap in one album.
Not really into Irish type Punk, but this album was fun
A bad combination of both weird and boring
REM is always a fun time! Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
Solid Album. Classic and Fun!
Okay
A fun album that was part of the shift from punk to heavy metal
The Cure is always a good time
Is this the real life, or is it just fantasy? No, this is just one of the greatest albums of all time. I don't recall ever seeing a song with a billion plays on Spotify, much less 2.5 billion. Wow, just wow!
This was fun!
The Queen of the Southland and one of her most iconic albums.
They made Cardigans cool before Taylor Swift
Another solid album!
The album wasn't even on Spotify, but I found the title track and it ended a long streak of good albums ...
I won't walk 500 miles for this album, but maybe a 5k would do?
Thelonious Monk is one of the legends of Jazz music. I remember playing his music in Jazz band in High School. I hated Jazz Band in High School.
Are the siblings? Are they Exes? Either way, they make great music!
Come On Eileen is one of the greatest songs of all time, due to that the album gets a 3. Without that song ... it's fun, but nothing you can't get at any pub
Good and Chill
It's like listening to the same song over and over again for an hour.
If Blondie and Heart had a baby ... it would be a rush
Thankfully it was only 30 minutes!
Nope, absolutely not. This album personifies not only everything wrong with a genre, but with the culture that supports it.
I didn't understand a word of it, but I felt like I was at some cafe in a clever but quirky movie and possibly wearing a beret.
"Lust for Life" was used in every car commercial in the early 2000s, giving it familiarity. The album was fun, upbeat, and just okay.
A great album. I wore this thing out in High School
I remember them from 1992 ... Haven't thought about them since
Flash back to life, back to reality that this album is a one hit wonder ... a fun one but not enough to save a 2 star rating
More fun than I thought
Another solid and fun album from an artist that I have never heard of
Disgusting, Awful, No, No, No. Can I give negative stars?
It was a little boring
Islamic Devotional Songs? I cannot believe this idol worshiping, pagan farce is on this list. If I had to torture someone for exactly 1.5 hours I would simply play them this album.
It starts off strong and then losing steam in the middle. It has a strong feel of your friend's band from high school. You can't really find anything wrong with it, but you can't really find anything to praise either.
So many great songs on one album. This is CCR's best record. I could play it over and over.
Quintessential 90s Hip Hop ... just made in the 2000s
Heavy use of Synth and Trumpets. Definitely different, but I like different
First of all, It's Joni Mitchell. But, then it's also Joni Mitchell
Sounds like someone doing karaoke to The Doors.
Fun and a little bit gritty of a sound. Good Southern Rock feel. Heck Yeah!
It is both electric and boogey oogey oogey!
This is rock music but it has elements of rhythm & blues, jazz, soul, Latin, and a little funk sprinkled in as well. I just might be a Steely Fan!
I was in a bit of a mood and I didn't hate this.
I just don't get the love for Bob Dylan. The dude can't sing ... he just talks thymically. With that said, this is a classic album and there are well written songs on it and for that he gets a 3
Not sure if I was just in the right mood, but I actually enjoyed this album
I mean ... C'mon, it's Stevie Wonder! None of my "favorites" were on this album, so it gets a 3, but it was still enjoyable.
This what my grandparents house sounded like back in the early 80s. There are times I miss this kind of country, simple, fun, and catchy. Buck Owens in a legend and this album gets all the stars
Good Guitar, Rod Stewart singing and yet pretty bland overall. It gets a solid Meh
Today's album is weird. It's like the music in the que while in line for some educational ride at EPCOT
Classic album that outside of "more than a feeling" is a bit meh
Spotify only had 4 of the tracks off this album available, but "but the boys are back in town" and "Still in love with you" classics. Can't give it more than 3 with most of the album missing though.
A Chill Album. Overall okay.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!!
You know those scenes in the 70s and 80s Disney movies like Robinhood where they are just running around or fighting a slapstick type battle ... This is probably the band that was playing the back ground music. Lucky for them, I love Disney's Robinhood.
This massive album is solid. It is so diverse the bigness isn't a detriment.
This massive album is solid. It is so diverse the bigness isn't a detriment.
If you’re 14 and hate your stepdad, this may be the album for you. The lyrics are meant for angsty teenagers. But I'm neither angsty or a teenager. I will never been listening to this again.
Apparently the dude was in a bad accident right before he made the album and the album is a champion of overcoming struggle and the first platinum album from a paraplegic. But it sounds like an album that was made by a paraplegic. "Sea Song" feels like he was recreating the accident that paralyzed him.
It was okay ...
I am so sorry ... I know this is one of the most iconic albums of all time and I was really excited to listen to it, honest, and I now I am supposed to excitedly give it 5 stars ... But ... best I can do is a 4
Wow! I am literally sitting the office trying not to cry. This album gets 10 stars ...
It's Abba along with Ikea, and the Chef make up some of our favorite friends from Sweden. So to them I So I say thank you for the music, for giving it to me!
If Maria Von Trapp was unable to escape to Switzerland and forced to tour with the family and then gave all the kids a different instrument and immediately set out to record an album, this is probably what it would sound like. With that said, it is an important album and East Germany must have really sucked.
I couldn't even get through the first song. Tupac was a horrible human being and this album reflects that.
How are there two of their albums on this list?
Classic album that we all grew up listening to. This album is a solid seven. But don't you ever ask why, if I told you, you would cry. So just look at the score and smile ...
Everything a person hates in one album, a super slow build and it takes 20 seconds to hear anything and I check the volume and output like 5 times before it finally gets going. Then you have a 20 minute song that sounds like you are having a panic attack during the Mainstreet Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom. Lastly, an intentional omittance of the oxford comma. The only think I like about this Album is the super cool cover art. A tank Armadillo? Yes please! Bonus Star as a "Tank you" for that.
It started off pretty bad and then they started singing in French ...
It's a 2 for me not horrible, I listened to the whole thing while focusing on a work project and it made for decent background noise, but it wasn't enough to actually capture my attention.
A Fun album!
This is the score to a movie. Not the Soundtrack, but the score. As a band nerd I appreciate scores and the musicality of creating an experience with the right music, but this isn't exactly a John Williams masterpiece and instead had an entire song of alternating quarter notes. Still not the worst thing I've heard on this list though.
This is a high 3 (perhaps 3 and half) for me. It wasn't boring, it came out the gate swinging, but it also didn't have that song that got you fired up.
