i have never listened to this whole album...i love it, it made be cry, beautiful voice, beautiful album...PERFECT
This Album has a few songs that I knew before, but I particularly like "All I Ask" and "Love In The Dark".
This is a really good album. Its not my usual kind of thing, but Adele has an outstanding voice and the production is very very good. 5/5
Fine I’ll listen to Adele Song 1. Holy shit Adele. I’ve heard this but never on anything good. Wow 2 heard this. It was everywhere. Not sure I knew it was Adele. 3 these songs have great production and dynamic range. Need this on vinyl 4 nice. Grew on me 5 a bit too much vocal acrobatics but lovely song 6/7 good vibes good weight to the music 9 beautiful Nice finish. No complaints. 5 star nailed it
Yeah, you really do have to listen to it before you die. Just amazing! Her vocals are amazing and all the songs feel so raw, you can actually experience the emotion that comes from her voice, even if you cannot exactly identify with the songs. One of my favorite ones from this list so far!
Gotta say the woman can belt! Was “Hello” overplayed to the point it became a meme, yes but whoa so good. I thoroughly enjoyed this album!
Glorious and lush. 5 stars.
Really good, several standout songs, what a voice
Love her music!
Adele at her best, an amazing album!
adele lowkey a baddie tho...
A wonderfully beautiful album full of soul and heartfelt lyrics. This is my first Adele album. What a masterpiece!
Really really good, her vocals are so good
Só conhecia as mais famosas e tô sem acreditar que ainda não tinha escutado. Que álbum incrível
An oldie but a goodie… her debut album that rocketed off the charts…LOVE IT!!❤️❤️
Pop forward singer songwriter. On this album she has musical accompaniment, which is nice. Her previous works were more acoustic. Such a powerful voice. Super emotional music, so ya gotta be in the right mindset, but it's fantastic!! Favourite songs: Hello, Send My Love (To Your New Lover), I Miss You, When We Were Young, Remedy, Water Under the Bridge, River Lea, Love in the Dark, All I Ask, Sweetest Devotion Least favourite songs: if forced to pick, Million Years Ago 5/5
Nice
Another one of my favourites! The people on here are incredibly disparaging. Just because Adele has two of the top three best-selling studio albums in the UK does not automatically make her music bad. Incredible voice backed up with great songwriting and a different sound to ‘19’, ‘21’ and ‘30’. Even the Max-Martin-produced songs aren’t too bad: a different direction for Ms Adkins. I first listened to this all the way through after this website recommended ‘21’, although I obviously knew all the hits.
This is like a secret amazing album. Unlike "21" that had a few hits, "25" really only had "Hello" which is the first song. Her musicality of using the voice to invoke her emotions in songs like "All I Ask" and "Million Years Ago" snuck up on me and really made me feel the songs.
I love this so so much!!
So so so good.
- this is literally my favourite album ever i know every lyric
Often played in my house as my wife is a really big fan of this record. It becomes harder to rate when you’ve heard it so much. But performance and songwriting are spot on.
So many of these songs have been played to death it’s weird to sit down and properly listen but it’s really well done. You miss a lot when it’s on an advert or something but a decent pair of headphones brings out some cracking production, and her voice is phenomenal. Nowhere near as moany as you think either.
Fantastic voice - fantastic songs
Phenomenal
Album # 37 Hello???
GOAT
I have never listened to Adele besides her radio hits, so I am really excited for this one because I truly think she is one of the best singers of this generation. I really like how the instrumentation is simple and bold, allowing Adele's voice to shine. Water Under the Bridge was probably my favorite off this one. I really enjoyed this album. I think her bravado and emotion paired with the orchestra is putting this album into the 5 star discussion. Low 5 for this one.
I adore Adele. This was a masterful follow-up to 21, taking us on that emotional journey into young adulthood. Absolutely gorgeous.
This entire album is my favorite track!
An incredible musician with a powerful and beautiful voice.
Another great entry in Adele’s oeuvre, this album has those big ballads that make her so famous but then some variety with songs like “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “Water Under The Bridge” that were welcome additions. I’m not sure I listened to this whole album back in the day so it is good to fill in those gaps with some of her lesser known tunes.
She’s a great voice end of story
Espectacular. Un disco que hay que escuchar. Una voz que escuchar siempre. Un directo para ver.
Ridiculously soulful. As someone who’s been through some ugly breakups, this has some absolute anthems.
Perfect post breakup album: beautiful voice and great sad songs. No notes.
Loved the album. Soothing voice
Adele has one of the best voices I’ve ever heard
Tu vois Robert, à chaque fois que tu génères de la bonne musique on met 5, c'est pas plus compliqué que ça.
ça va Adèle on te dérange pas trop ? ça te dérange pas de foutre la honte à tous tes petits camarades de générateur ??
Beautiful, i loved it. 10/10
- almost every song on this album was a radio smash hit which is nearly impossible - one of the best voices ever - good amount of variance in style between songs
no skip dont play with me
I love this album!!!!
Great
Yay! I do enjoy Adele's music. Ugh her VOICE! She's incredible. I forgot how much I like Adele. I think I need to start listening to her again. Also I didn't realize how many hits are on this album. A lot of her biggest songs are on here. 5/5 I mean, come on. It's Adele.
The thing with having Adele on this list is that this album has played on repeat on so so so so so many car journeys and so the songs are just. Embedded in my brain. I cannot be any amount of objective about this album because it is too close to me. It's like trying to rank earth on a list of planets. Objectively probably not the best but it's mine! Anyway it was very nice getting to listen to this album as I'm not sure I've ever actually listened to all the songs in one go and it was a nice break from having to absorb new music or endure 30 minute long songs
Kan niet anders zeggen, jeugdsentiment. Wat een bangers
This album was so much better than her first. The production allowed her to better showcase her voice with less electronica and more natural instruments.
Familiar and wonderful
The maturity of lyrics and toe-tapping rhythms make this a top album of Adele. Curious to see how we look back at her career and influence in the future.
can't hate this
Adele Forever!!! Adele is ageless, People will lover her music for centuries Like Sinatra and Bennett, she is an Immortal.
What a fantastic album!
What a voice!
Adele blesses us with yet another espectacular record. It's crazy that she wrote this project being 25 years old, while I had achieved nothing in my life by that age. It makes you think, huh. Anyways, that fact doesn't prevent me from my right to criticize the album a little bit. You can sense the pop influence gaining territory respect to her previous records. Not saying it is bad, I just prefer her original style. Half of the songs are already a classic. Adele does not disappoint. Expected Marc rating: 5
Love it! Such a voice and emotional expression!
Super good album. The piano and her voice together are magic.
Iconic. I loved this album when it came out. I loved it now (although Hello is overplayed now). She’s a queen.👸🏻
I love the sound of her voice and every song she sings.
MY FIRST 5 STARS! Granted, This album was one of my favourites on release and I have had the pleasure of seeing her tour live. Heartfelt honest lyric work, soaring vocals and incredible songwriting. 25 is adele at her best. Couldn't be more obseessed. Rating: 5/5 Playlist Track: I Miss You / Love in the Dark Date listened: 09/01/2024
Love
Adele's voice is truly one of a kind This album is also so well paced. Great mixture of fast vs. slow, lots of production vs. Simple, happy/hopeful vs. somber/reminisce, etc. Every pop album should strive to be 25. Obviously, few will match her singing ability but they should aspire to the mix of instrumentation and electronic elements, the path from a to b, and the overall package. If there's one complaint, it's that all of their is little here pushing Adele out of her comfort zone.
Listened to this album a lot. Adele’s songs are real powerful/uplifting. Great album.
One of the best albums, I don’t own. I need to Remedy that.
Classic, a favorite
Great album Favorite songs are Water Under the Bridge and When We Were Young. Would be cool to hear some of the piano ballads with a full band arrangement. I think I like 21 a bit better.
This is a pretty perfect album. Great voice and really good songs
21 is my favorite album but she really knows what songs showcase her voice. When we were young is so great and million years ago. All I ask is my favorite on this album. It’s heartbreaking.
One of my favorites
hit after hit - guilty pleasure artist
5 stars because Louise is beside me while I'm rating the album
What a voice!
Queen Adele 5 ⭐️
Unrestrained talent belting out banger after banger. Every single track is absolutely saturated with emotion and skill. This isn't even close to my favorite genre. And yet... it's utterly compelling. Unreal.
Forgot how incredible this is. This is the last music I bought when it was only released on apple music.
just perfect
It's a 5.
Dijk van een stem, veel hits, en ook de onbekendere albumnummers zijn typisch Adele en goed.
Moody, sumptuous, perfect vocals to accompany a glass of red wine 🍷
Kippenvel vergeten hoe goed dit was
Been scanning for anything wrong with this album and I can’t find a thing. Immaculately produced, excellent songwriting, beautiful voice, consistently, and it actually made me emotional which is not something I though I would say about songs that routinely play in my mom’s car.
For sure a great album. Listened to the full album hundreds of times. 5/5
Girl can sing! Feels for sure.
Absolute banger. 0 skips
Fantastic. Adele's voice is so strong and robust. The album had a lot of diversity of sound. It was just beautiful.
This record is a fucking masterpiece. Yeah, yeah. I know. She didn't take any risks, blah, blah, blah, but why would she? Not every great piece of music needs to be novel and groundbreaking to be good. She is a phenomenal vocal talent; and her decisions on how to use that vocal differentiate her, along with (mostly ballads or not) top notch production and solid song writing.
Love Adele.
My first 5/5 and I’ve had a Dylan and Bowie album so far. I mean holy shit this is good, I was annoyed I got an Adele album today but I mean holy shit. Banger after banger. Piano, guitar, and strings are *chefs kiss*
Always loved Adele’s music. 25 is probably one of my favourites. Pure Artistry.
Beautiful
Banger
<3
why did adele cross the road? to say "hello" from the other side
Again with the voice cannon. This was a fantastic and emotionally mature journey through love and loss. Outstanding.
Pinnacle for pop
C'était cool, rien à redire
what an absolute classic holy shit there is so much good stuff here I cant even begin to describe how impactful her words and rythm. it cuts to the core of a being without having experienced the level of heartbreak you can still feel how viscerally real it was to her. Just Iconic and a great artist and album.
Вау. Очень красивый звук, превосходный голос Адель. Я впечатлен. 5 звезд.
As much as I love this album, I was surprised to see it was on the list. However, this is actually my favourite Adele album (excluding 30 as I have yet to listen to it). I don't listen to Adele often, though, so it was fun to revisit this after quite some time. I remember having mixed feelings about this when it came out. For some reason I couldn't stand "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" and "I Miss You," both of which I love now. And back then, I was a very harsh critic of music. Not liking a couple of songs meant the album wasn't it. Despite the fact that the album contained two songs I already loved, and I also really connected with several other songs on it on first listen. Despite this, though, this album had quite an impact on me, and now it's just really nostalgic of my high school days. Especially the songs "Hello" and "When We Were Young." I was 14 when "Hello" came out, and I loved it the first time I heard it. It was everywhere that year, but for me, it never got old. At the time, though, my favourite Adele song was "Someone Like You." That changed when I was 17 and heard "When We Were Young" the first time. I was immediately taken by the melody of the chorus, and for a while, it became my favourite Adele song. Weirdly, I always used to say that the song felt "nostalgic even the first time I heard it." I'm not entirely sure why. I guess because a large part of the lyrics are based around memories, and it's kind of an old fashioned style like most of Adele's music? So that was when I decided to listen to the album. Although I've got to say that despite my favourite Adele song changing often back then, no Adele song has had the staying power for me that "Hello" has had. Every time I hear it, I just can't help screaming along the chorus. In fact, the first four songs of the album are just incredibly nostalgic, and I screamed along the choruses of "Send My Love" and "When We Were Young" too. I even sung along loudly to "I Miss You," which I don't know quite as well. As I said, I love it now. What about the rest of the album? Well, several songs hit me from the get go, although I downplayed how much I loved them for far too long. "All I Ask," "Sweetest Devotion," "Million Years Ago" and "Remedy" are all incredibly powerful. In fact, I want to particularly highlight "Million Years Ago"- I honestly can't believe Adele has such a powerful deep cut hidden away, and I always forget how hard hitting it is until it plays and I've got tears streaming down my face. The other three tracks: "Water Under The Bridge," "River Lea" and "Love in the Dark?" Well, they're okay. They don't let the record down majorly, but they're not quite on the same level to me. Favourite tracks: Hello, Million Years Ago, When We Were Young, All I Ask, Sweetest Devotion, Remedy
Very good
Adele continues to display an inspiring talent for singing. This album did have a consistent theme and style that left me wanting a bit more variety, but that tends to be my preference, and it felt like variety wasn't the point of the album.
Absolutely fantastic. Without Amy Winehouse, we wouldn't have Adele. She has one of the most soulful & powerful voices in modern music. Beautifully performed. I ended up also listening to 21 since this album got me in the mood for Adele. 4.5 stars
sweet, 5 stars
she has no creativity for album names
The production is like an email where the entire contents are in bold, italics, and underlined. It's a well-crafted cocktail that's a little too bitter, too sour, too sweet, too fizzy, and too strong. Compared to 21, Adele's vocal sounds powerful and clear but the music is a bit forward on 25. Some tracks are worse than others and the B-side does sound better. Besides the complaints about the shiny backing tracks, the songs are great and the lyrics are emotional but not overwrought. The album closer is a banger.
Truly the voice of the 20teens. Every track is worth a listen and the first two make the list of the top 1000 songs of the millenia if not ever.
Music for crying. Showcases her incredible voice. Not what I need on a sunny day though.
A modern day classic
The vocal arrangements on this album are probably the best of all-time. I think this close to a perfect album.
Wow I am going to hate myself for doing this. I usually am NOT a pop fan. I find it generic and shallow. But I am rating this one 5/5 stars. Is it because I haven't gotten a 5 star album yet and I really wanted one? Possibly. Is it because I am familiar with Adele and already know her sound? Possibly. Is it because this album was impeccable, with so much feeling and insane vocals? Possibly. Adele, I don't know what you did, but that was an amazing album.
Holy this album is so good. And to think I almost didn’t listen to it. Almost had me singing/dancing along. 9.5/10
Man I forgot how good this album is. She's definitely the best vocalist of the past decade or so. This album is pretty sad though. A lot of love and loss. But dang she can belt a note like nobody's business.
she's amazing, beautiful album
This was my first Adele album and wow was it powerful. Maybe it’s just where I’m at in life right now but it was hard emotionally to get through some of the tracks. This one I could definitely see myself listen to again, but only if I wanted to sob.
Heard before
Just a great album. Sadder in theme and quite personal in delivery. Adele kills the vocals and the high production carries throughout. Top songwriting with emotion coming out. This is a benchmark for pop musicians in writing ballads.
Although not as diverse and versatile as her "21" album, it's again very impressive what Adele delivers on this album. Seemingly every second song has been a radio hit and while one has to admit that she obviously has sort of a formula, I can't argue or knock it down because the formula is gold and works very well
Such a passionate and soulful voice
So much drama and emotion. Incredible voice. Fantastic songs. Adele is a treasure. She could sing the phone book and I would listen.
It's fucking Adele. What do you expect? Beautiful melodies and piano. All I ask for in an album from her.
This one's full of some really great break-up and a few wedding songs. Makes me wish I had bridesmaids and a guy who really dicked me over. This came up on my list back in late October '22 when I was on my honeymoon in London. So I was listening to it then, which for some reason made it feel different. Being in the artist's country of origin when it's not your own.
When We Were Young
Beautifull the ups and downs high and lows the overall tension but relaxed feel is amazing
Excellent
Adele’s best album. Every song is a catchy bop.
Rating: 9/10 Best songs: Hello, I miss you, When we were young, Water under the bridge, River Lea,
Beautiful every song. Adele’s voice is heavenly and heartfelt.
I was caught off guard at how much I enjoyed the songs that weren’t hits on this album. 9/10
The first album that was already part of my listening library - one that I listen to in full occasionally because it is an *experience.* I'm not sure how true it is but I heard this year that Adele wrote Hello to her younger self and ever since, I listen to it differently. She transmits an extraordinary amount of emotion through song, and seven years later, I still get chills listening. I adore Hello, Send My Love, I Miss You, Remedy, Water Under the Bridge, River Lea, Million Years Ago.
Certified Hood Classic
Sing this one at the top of your lungs and you will feel better for it! Such a powerful album and means alot to me personally. Adele has one of the most powerful voices and each song ignites a new feeling deep within whether it be anger, heartbreak, love etc. Favourite songs: When we were young, Love in the dark
Love Adele! So passionate and gets the listener to really connect to the lyrics in their own way. My fav song was Water Under the Bridge.
Really good voice and great harmonies. Not just all boring pop songs, has some nice rhythms and indie flare
Nice.
The Hello video only has 2.9B views. I figure if I watch it a few more times, I can be the 3 billionth view. That's cool, right? RIGHT? Such a powerhouse. It really is true. Heartbreak brings out the creativity of artists. Jagged Little Pill, Tragic Kingdom, Rumors.
10/10
Still haunting
Ik vind haar werk super!
Incredible album, will stand the test of time I'm sure
Crazy how anticipated this album was after a “hiatus” post-21 and here we are in 2026, a decade without new Adele. The is *the* Adele album for me. I was in a real /album/ phase in this time of my life and I was doing a lot of front-to-back listening. So I really enjoyed coming back to 25 and was surprised by the fondness I have for it. Send My Love… and Water Under the Bridge are some of my all-time fave Adele tracks and really elevate this album for me!
Another Adele so soon!! I know this album was absolutely massive and set all kinds of sales records at the time, but I don’t feel it has lingered much in the public consciousness, and I don’t remember much besides Hello and Send My Love To Your New Lover (Max Martin stans rise up). But, despite this album being a bunch of ballads, I enjoyed it a lot. They’re just very well written, solid songs and obviously her voice is great. New songs I particularly enjoyed were I Miss You, Remedy, Water Under The Bridge (okay I had heard that one before) and Sweetest Devotion Do we think 35/36 will be coming soon???
There's a reason pop is pop. It can draw many people in. Why? Well, in this case, it's a combination of Adele's soaring vocals and the stellar production. The piano and strings perfectly compliment her voice. 4.5/5
I love Adele. She sure has a beautiful voice and sings with so much emotion. I think 21 was her best album, but this album is very nice. When We Were Young, Million Years Ago, and All I Ask are some of my favorites but all are really good.
Great talented singer, not my thing but I appreciate how talented she is
I enjoyed this, I hadn’t listened beyond the singles. I still think 21 is her best album but her voice is staggering always.
Lovely voice
Amaze balls
Adele truly is a very talented artist with such a powerful voice, and it works very well with the music she makes, but I'm afraid it tends to be bland and very classy in a predictable way, which makes it at times a bit uninteresting or even boring. And, the thing is, many artists with great voices nowadays tend to search for those kinds of popish soul and rhythm and blues that are so insipid. The issue here is this album does not go beyond but just sticks to the canon, and, to be honest, it's not even outstanding at that. So, there are some nice songs, a great voice, talent too, but it lacks of some more personality. I'm not implying there is not, but it feels not yet developed.
Adele has an extraordinary voice, and a gift for songwriting. It's not a style I listen to often, but I have to admire the skill and talent.
Love her voice so much. The deep cuts really hit on this one.
First impression: I was really excited because this album is outside of my typical taste in music. Although I’m already well acquainted with Adele’s music (thanks to the radio in 2015), it’s been awhile thus re-listening felt novel again. She definitely has one of the most cinematic voices out there. I love how percussive the album was with iconic bells solidifying her sound. Sure many songs were repetitive but all in all still good. Favourite track: Send My Love (surprisingly resonated/inspired me) One sentence: Adele blends nostalgia, youth, heartbreak with grace and sincerity; and I adore that. Will I revisit? Yes
Stronger first half than the back. Amazing voice but not all the songs are my style.
hello its me. great
Great emotional songs sung by a strong, powerful voice. Does get quite samey though. 4/5
Incredible talent. I think criticising her work for being to uniformly is undermining her artistic mind. The songs being similar in sound and content is much more a marketing strategy. Her success proofs her right. I like: when we where young Hello has nostalgic value for me, The rest is meh.
From a song and instrumentation standpoint, fairly safe, not much in the way of innovation. But this record is an exceptional example of how much a generational singer can elevate music. Adele’s voice is extraordinary, and every one of these songs gives me chills because of it. I don’t really like safe, modern pop, but this is a very nice album because of the vocal work.
Me relajo escucharla
Great album, some real bangers from my childhood on there. Personally, I prefer to listen to the hits rather than the album as a whole. I also feel that I don't get much out of the lyrics, but appreciate how they let Adele show off.
Enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Big vocals, anthems, some catchy and memorable songs and well put together as a coherent record.
cohesive but nowhere near as good as 19 or 21
So powerful, performed beautifully and written with such technical and aesthetic skill that you can see why this was a massive hit and continues to be peoples favourite album. Adele is able to take some truly heartbreaking situations that are entirely relatable to everyone that listens to them, and turn it into beautifully composed and performed works of auditory art. I cant deny the skill and ability shown here. But, do I want to listen to this when I am already in a place where I have a difficult set of circumstances to deal with? Probably not. I have never fully understood the desire to listen to sad songs when you feel sad. I understand that when you are feeling at your most upset, it might be comforting to know that other people have been there. But not me. (4.000)
3.5/5
prob high 3 even but my rating is wonky now u know
Actually, aside from the hits, this album is pretty great. How does that work?
Amazing voice for sure, but the music itself doesn't do it for me.
Favourite album of Adele tbh!!!
Overall Rating - 3.73/5 (7.45/10). Great voice. Old-school feel to a lot of the songs. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I thoroughly enjoyed this album. A couple of real bangers. All I Ask touches the place in me where I still feel every loss I have had.
I love her voice, and I like most of the songs. Didn't like All I Ask, but the last song Sweetest Devotion was amazing.
Her second best.
adele é adele. música para velhos com um gosto refinado. não é pra mim mas eu consigo enxergar a beleza.
7/10 Very surprised to see a 2015 album here but its a pretty damn good choice
Pas mon album préféré d'Adele mais quand même un classique. Il me rappelle quand je passais mon permis parce que Hello jouait tout le temps a la radio à ce moment-là
Better than i thought. Ton of hits
Bom but not my type
this one just has some great nostalgia for me. I loved it
Beautiful album, the emotion that Adele sings with is just awesome. Not an album for every occasion but definitely a brilliant one!
So I don’t go to my music streaming and look for and listen to Adele, and I probably still won’t, but 25 is a pretty album, and she’s very talented fo’ sho’‼️
wychowałam się na Adele, na tym albumie też, a po latach nadal uważam, że Adele queen, bardzo dramatyczny momentami, świetny wokalnie
RATING:3.8/5Much more my pace genre wise, i liked the funky instramentals and the psychadelic funk style. FAV SONG: Cholly (funk getting ready to roll), i like the instramental and vocals for this track. DURATION: 1hr 4m, 10 songs DATE: 17/05/26
joya!
Amazing voice, strong arrangements, powerful and authentic vocals. Adele is amazing and I like the majority of these songs.
Adele is an elite vocalist. I liken her to being the Aretha Franklin of the 2000’s. 25 was a huge album for Adele and displayed her vocal talents on a handful of songs that went viral as soon as they were released. You know you’ve made superstar status when people begin comparing others to you as the standard of excellence. Great album and an amazing talent.
Adele is class , and this album is really good but its not a 5 star. 21 is slightly better. But thats only my opinion.
i love her, una voz increible y un album sentimental, nostalgico y de amor
A mulher é foda mesmo ein? Pqp. Só música boa.
I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this album. I've always thought that Adele was a great singer stuck singing mostly average songs. But this is a really good collection of songs, carried by strong arrangements and quality playing to support her excellent vocals. She's not breaking any major new territory, but this is well-made pop/soul and I'll come back to it.
What an opener. What an opening pair! 'Hello' is a spare, dramatic piano ballad with elements of the dark electronic pop movement that had been brewing for a few years (see: The XX, though, also: don't). Ordinarily, I hate that shite but it's included in this song as a subtle element only of the rhythm section (the *heavy* reverb on the drums and its really sparse beat), plus the harmonic content of the vocal melody and piano chords. It does still make me feel like my fiancee is leaving me (she was) but that's not Adele's fault. In all, it's just a simple and powerful vocal performance. The only real gymnastics for this diva are an occasional grace note sliding into a phrase. It is, and I do not use this term often for this type of music, perfect. Write and record a song like this and you'll get a 3/5 from me almost regardless of the rest of the record. Worth owning at least a vinyl single just to hear the depth of her mellifluous mezzo-soprano range (I swear to you, she bottoms out as a contralto; she just stretches higher, too). 'Send My Love' is as deserving today as it was then of its gargantuan cultural impact. The guitar part remains catchy as hell -- many a busker has made their bones on this -- and the rhythm makes this breakup song serviceable on the dancefloor. If only it had a backbeat. The cool-with-it lyrics contrasted with a sanguine tone sit this song in a delicate emotional place, perfect for a 25-year-old. I'm not sure what the writing split was but it's no shock that Max Martin is credited on this one. I hate corporate pop music. It's my belief that music is meant -- in an existential sense -- to resonate in our culture. Music aspires to express something to us or for us. It ought to give voice to something -- joy or sorrow; laughter or rage -- that allows us to commune with each other. The most moving thing we can do is raise our voices together. You get a little of it when you shout along to 'Sweet Caroline' at a sports stadium or a bar. You'll get some more if you learn a traditional song of farewell, like 'The Parting Glass'. Pop music is, by and large, conceived only to elicit a consumer purchase. We don't all sing Pharrell's 'Happy' together to celebrate our best moments. You *might* remember joyfully dancing to Stevie Wonder's 'Superstition' at somebody's wedding. The crassness with which record companies assemble teams of writers and producers and select from a stable of musicians to assemble product for consumption and evaluate merit via KPI is an insult to the ancient storytellers and shamans who first banged drums and joined their voices to soothe, motivate and teach our early tribes. Adele's work straddles those camps. She is a part of that A&R system and it profits (enormously) from her work but I believe that she is, nonetheless, in conversation with that tradition. She seems to care what she's singing and to embody it. She'd be singing to her friends and family even without Max Martin and they'd be just as awed as we are now, listening to her world-famous recordings. She's a little broad. There's a sort of mass-market genericness to her work that comes from being a product of the system. It limits her, even though it also affords her opportunities for collaboration and expansive reach. About half of her songs also sound like they were written for a Lincoln or heart medication ad. She is the best example of how the music *industry* can still produce music of real quality, not merely fleeting commercial value. I sometimes wonder what she'd sound like if she had apprenticed under Diana Krall or Liz Phair instead of being signed to a behemoth. This is a very fine record. It's a monument of its time -- it was universally and immediately beloved. I think it drops back to excellent vocal pop after the first two tracks. It's confessional, personal and feels genuine. It doesn't quite translate to the universality that her very special first two songs do, though. Honestly, any musician would be fairly satisfied by a career that contained only one of 'Hello' or 'Send My Love'. But the rest of the album rings just hollow enough to me that I can't give it a perfect score. I'm continually impressed by Adele and she's produced music that I love. I just wish her work contained fewer super-producers and more bandmates who kept pushed her to be a little more idiosyncratic. At the end of this album, I believe Adele was 25. It's relatable and palpable. But I don't really know who Adele *was* at 25. Apart from being a deserved international superstar singer. That's the persona. But that's a job, not a person. 4/5 -- a must-listen and a near-masterpiece that seems subtly undermined by the need to move some widgets at Columbia
Look, I never listen to Adele no my own volition, but she is undeniably great. Rather her than almost any of her pop contemporaries.
Beautiful album I've heard some of these tracks before but i never sought out to look for it myself. My favourites were when we were young, love in the dark and water under the bridge.
I am not much of an Adele fan, but I reckon this is probably her magnum opus. Her voice is great obviously, the songs well arranged and the themes strike a chord. I read up on the legal issues surrounding A Million Years Ago. That was fun, the aong sounds very plagiarised (I tought of Charles Azanvour) but has been dubbed a musical cliche.
You know what's better than 24? 25
Adele really is a pop star, and I mean it in the least cynical way possible. Great album that is friendly to the listener, with great songs that all of them could easily be radio hits. And obviously great vocals, especially the lower voice that doesn’t have enough appreciation. I am positively surprised as someone that never before gave this artist a longer listen
Great album with some legendary bangers. 8.8/10
3/4
Ikke mit yndlings med Adele, men stadig virkelig godt
Faut pas avoir envie de se flinguer Mais c'est beau, Et on aime ça 4,5/5
Confession time. I listened to 21 when I originally rated this album and it wasn’t until 25 popped up again that the realized the mistake. Perhaps a sign of just how mid this artist is. That said, I enjoyed this album more than 21 but it was also more polarizing. There are a few mostly popular songs on here that are overplayed and make me reach for fast forward. But then there are several piano-based ballads that I actually favorited. Maybe it was the Ben Folds concert last weekend that has my ears craving more piano. Or maybe they were just good. Overall these songs don’t really speak to me and the emotion somehow seems less but I actually liked 3 songs. I’ll give it some generosity. 4/5
beautiful powerful ballade heartbreak soft visceral haunting
many bangers aber leider die besten halt schon tot gehört
Hermoso y melancólico
One of the greatest voices of our era. Send My Love is just a fun song to listen too. Hello can get a bit overplayed, but still holds up. Lots of tunes about love and heartbreak. A topic that will always be relevant. Good album.
Lots of songs here about love and heartbreak. Hello is a great song, and the rest of the record tracks.
This worked for me Likes: Hello; Send My Love; When We Were Young; Remedy; Water Under The Bridge
An amazing voice, probably the best of her generation. She has the ability to put her soul into every song. 8/10 Top song Million years ago
Generational levels of Class, Style, and Substance.....4.5 star
Fantastic songs. Probably Adele's best
Solid album. Amazing voice. The hits are undeniable, but there is also a sameness to many songs across the album that make this one tough to listen on repeat. "Send My Love" is a great track since it is a different sound from the rest of the album.
One of the greatest voices of all time and I love almost every song of hers. This album was a great listen and beautiful display of her talent
The voice of this woman is amazing.
She's a great singer & songwriter
adele innit
This was another solid album from Adele that I throughly enjoyed. This album has some of her greatest hits on it and some filler songs or songs that I’m not as familiar with. Many of these songs commercially did well 11 years ago and they still hold up years later. Overall, this was a great album and I typically always enjoy listening to Adele’s vocals. I would listen to this album again in the future!
love it
There are really some songs on this album that I absolutely love. So deepfelt, so pure in emotion. Photograph, Hello, Remedy.
I can’t believe I’ve never done a full listen of this album before lol. Was beautiful :)
Oh Adele you are fantastic, this was a hard one to rate, honestly over all it deserves a 5 but I giving it a 4 because it doesn't fit my aesthetic lol
I reviewed 21 by Adele about six months ago. My biggest gripe with that album was the slowness and sameness of many of the songs, but all had her amazing vocals. Apparently she felt the same way at the time, because 25 was much more varied in its production choices. Which made it much more interesting for me and a far more enjoyable experience. Whereas 21 was a 3.5, this is a 4.5. Standouts were Hello (I wasn’t listening to popular music at the time it came out so it didn’t feel stale at all), Send My Love, Remedy, River Lea, and Sweetest Devotion.
Enjoyed that more than I thought I would to be honest. Now I must consume a bottle of red wine every day
Неожиданно, но мне понравилось
Sooooo classic and nostalgic to listen to. Absolutely healing Fav: When We Were Young, River Lea, Love in the Dark, All I Ask
Ok, listen. I don’t think I should have enjoyed this album as much as I thought I would. Knowing a surprising amount of songs going in, in and of itself was a surprise to me. I have been on a crazy streak for the entire last week of hearing albums that I know are goated, but haven’t personally been for me. This, however, this is different. First of all, Adele has an immaculate voice. The way she hits every high note on “Hello” is nothing short of spectacular. Bonus points for that being such a meme banger when it came out. The “Hello” meme lives rent free in my head. I’d heard of that and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” before, but what really surprised me here were the deep cuts. Don’t get me wrong, those other 2 are great in and of themselves, but what really hooked me was “I Miss You”, and my favorite song on the album “River Lea”. I mean seriously, the pipes on her are breathtaking. Whenever she says “illuminates” on “I Miss You” it sounds amazing specifically. The background vocals are also a great touch. As for “River Lea”, it’s just so different. It’s almost kind of sad. I usually go for the songs that rock the most, but this one just feels so personal to her. So genuine, somber and REAL. Plus, she collaborated with Danger Mouse on it apparently. Did not for the life of me think I was going to get to mention him once during this project, but here we are. The entire album is mostly great, a little bit of filler here and there, but I’d return to it for sure. This is the first of 2 Adele albums I have rolled for this project, and I’m actually fairly excited about the next one as well. Add this to the list of albums that genuinely surprised the hell out of me. Again, I don’t think I was supposed to like this one as much as I did, but I’m certainly not complaining about it. “River Lea” is getting added to the frequent rotation, and I genuinely enjoyed a good bit of this album. Yeah, that sounds like a 4 to me. Let’s go with a 4.
Generational vocalist
I was originally going to review Siembra, but the generator decided to change its recommendation for this.
- almost a no-skip album - knew 8 or 9 / 11 songs prior to listening (no pun intended) ranking: [3 stars] when we were young > remedy > water under the bridge > all I ask > love in the dark > hello (though overplayed) & million years ago > send my love > [2 stars] I miss you & river lea > sweetest devotion
You know, its adele
As much as I love Adele she’s definitely someone I need to be in the right mood for.
I really enjoyed this album, but it's far from complete for me. Hello is an incredible song and a tremendous way to start out, though it's undoubtedly the peak of this album. There are some other great cuts on here, no doubt, including When We Were Young, Water Under the Bridge, and River Lea. And Adele's voice soars throughout, it's such an amazing instrument. All the same, this isn't a cover-to-cover listen. There are a few missteps in here, imo, such as Million Years Ago, which felt like an inferior version of some of the songs that appeared earlier in the album. 4 stars, as Hello is incredible and there's enough here to hold that rating. But far from a 5-star album.
Best Song: Hello I don't think it can be argued that Adele can sing. And, it shows here. I enjoyed this more than I thought I would and, while it isn't exactly going to get the party jumping, the easy listening aspects definitely have a use case in my life. My thinking when it comes to grades, if there are several songs I can say are my favorite - we are looking at a 4. If every song could be a favorite - we are looking at a 5. Hello, Send my Love, When We Were Young are all great tracks but there are some that are skippable so 4/5.
8.5/10
For one of the missus’s top all-time music makers I’ve spent remarkably little time listening to Adele in any meaningful way. Adele mostly reminds me that love hurts. While these songs aren’t so great individually, one thing I appreciated about this listen is that the album as a whole exceeded the sum of its parts. This is a rare, valuable and overlooked trait of albumness. I’m giving that trait an extra star.
I enjoyed. Not much to say. Exactly what I thought it was.
clasico de todos los tiempos. lo que transmite esta mujer con su voz es de no creer.
Not my style. But you can’t deny the magic and artistry that Adele holds in every song.
Some boring ones
The GOAT
What is this? An album featuring songs that were ubiquitous on top 40 stations when *I* was a teenager? I didn’t think that was allowed. I thought the purpose of this list was to compile music-critic-masturbatorily esoteric underground stuff or Gen X nostalgia or both. Well I guess it’s MY turn on the nostalgia roller coaster… People in some other reviews complain about filler here. I guess that’s fair. You can kind of tell listening to this that the album as an art form was largely dead by 2015. Long live the age of streaming/playlists/whatever I guess. But honestly… none of this is bad, and the big numbers are so huge that they almost HAVE to pull the thing to an above-average rating anyway. And anyway, like, it’s Adele. Are you really going to complain about her singing ANY song to you
An absolute no skip album, even with some imperfect songs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Highlights: “Hello”, “River Lea” “All I Ask” “Sweetest Devotion”
I don’t get all the hate for this album. I think it’s enjoyable and nice to listen to.
Voix de ouf en mode diva Les chansons les plus connues sont belles D'autres on ressent rien
Grandiose instrumentals for a gradient voice
Hello.
Really solid. Her voice is so powerful, and she has such great musicianship.
Great album! Not perfect, but great... :-)
Oh man.......that voice.
Adele is such a talented vocalist. These aren't groundbreaking tracks, but they still hit because they are so well sung. The album definitely comes across like a typical pop album in that the harmonies aren't too interesting and the lyrics are pretty repetitive. I probably wouldn't like it nearly as much if it weren't for the soul/R&B quality of the music. I can't deny its success though because I've never listened to this album, but I have heard most of these songs before in the wild and I know at least 5 of these tracks were huge hits. Adele writes melancholy, wistful love songs really well and I do enjoy that. My favourite tracks from this album are When We Were Young and All I Ask. I would happily belt those out any time. I think the rest of the album is solid too. I personally can't enjoy Hello anymore because it has been overplayed, but that's not to say it's a bad song. I do think I got sick of it pretty soon after it came out though. I think my personal favourite Adele album is 21 which is also on this list.
Banger of an album, sometimes popular music can be good Very good vocals of course 4/5
It’s Adele…not much to critique other than the familiarity of her unique voice over time.
So many songs heard against my will, but they do sound very nice together.
Æ anerkjenne at dette e high class shit, i en sjanger æ ikke høre veldig mye på. Men æ syns ho e det, så i vippen mellom 3 og 4 så legg å til litt godvilje.
4.5/5
It’s Adele!!!
I'm familiar with this album, though I don't listen to it enough. It's quite good.
banger after banger like this is music
- A mature, introspective record full of nostalgia and heartache - Adele's voice is the undisputed star - powerful yet vulnerable throughout - Highlights include "Hello", "When We Were Young", and "Million Years Ago" - Polished but occasionally plays it safe compared to 21
This is 21st-century Top-40 orchestral pop at its absolute finest. I had never heard any Adele album, but I was pretty impressed with this one, though I don't see myself reaching for it much in the future. The songs are very well orchestrated and performed. As I expected from her reputation, the real highlight here is Adele's singing. This chick can really wail, and she doesn't sacrifice tone for power. Her readings are pretty standard, but they don't ever dip into sing-song territory, at least not that I heard. The recording itself was ok but not great. The mastering seems pretty brickwalled, but I never heard any actual clipping. I listened to this record once, and I don't have much desire to listen again. Still, I was impressed with Adele's talent, and I'll keep this one in the library just in case. Four stars.
Hello, Send My Love, When We Were Young
Surprisingly good. All the songs follow a consistent theme but are still unique enough that they don't get repetitive.
i like when she says hello
Hello is a HEATER. Totally different sound on track two. I wish every song was her singing about being heartbroken, her voice is incredible. I’d listen to her sing the dictionary. ‘When we Were Young’ could be an Elton John song. I really like all of the piano songs, the more pop oriented the songs become the less I enjoy them.
Adele must have been hurt badly because the pain and sorrow comes out in this album from beginning to end.
Oh what a voice she has, not heard this one for a long time, what a legend!
Very calming
Not being blown away by an album doesn't make it very very solid. I think there are many hooks, many things that work great together and it's very cohesive (a bit too much actually). I don't think it's as necessary as 21 is, but as a follow up it meets the bar. My main problem are twofold, one I don't think this album as ambition to revolutionise even her own sound, and that is ok but I always enjour that more. Also, while her voice is gorgeous, it has a tendency to over power everything and therefore make every song of hers sound similar. Like it sounds like 21, it sounds like her, and it as a potent identity that piegeon holes her a bit. I am fine if I never have another piano ballad from her, and yet when you listen to songs like all I ask, you still feel it. She is obviously talented, and a star. I'll give it a 4 cause it does work on me, though it is a small 4.
I don't like this album as much as 19 and 21, but it's still solid and beautiful.
8/10. Great songwriting, but lacks some fire
A new Adele album is an event for a reason. Incredible music all the way through. Maybe not my thing but I definitely get it.
Adele is back with another huge album, but man, she's falling off here. 25 only sold 20 million records compared to 21 selling 30 million. Only 4 songs on here that have over a billion listens on Spotify. Of course, I am kidding. I will say that I do like 21 better since she was much more fiery, but on 25, she's much more mature and retrospective; which brings a different and more healthy perspective. She has such a strong, powerful voice that it's just crazy. I'm a fan of Send My Love (To Your New Lover) and I Miss You just because they're a bit more uptempo. It's a powerful album, but I'm just not a fan of so many ballads. This music resonates with so many people, and I get it, it's just not my personal preference. What I do appreciate is that she does what she wants and doesn't cater to the masses. She's struggled so much with writers block and real mental health issues, anxiety and depression, that it makes me glad she just kinda comes out with an album when she wants. She could phone it in like Taylor Swift does now, but she doesn't, and her albums are a reflection of her own personal journey. It does sound ridiculous for a 25 year old to be retrospective and longing for the days of "youth", taking for granted that they still are in those days of youth, but 25 is right around the time that realities of life start hitting you. Let's not forget that she became a mother at 24. So I am listening to this album with the understanding that the music is a reflection of Adele during that period of time of her life, which differs from my own life at 25.
Not bad but not my favorite Adele album.
the absolute grip this album had on society... actually insane how many bangers it has Would I listen again: obviously Deserves to be on this list: one of the few artists that I'd permit multiple albums from 4.2
8/10 - great album, amazing vocals as expected, not too long so no fillers either
Yet again Adele impresses me with how versitile and powerful her voice is. Most of the time the production is clean and really let's her voice shine. The tone of the album is a lot of melancholy and nostalgia but without just becoming sad Standouts Hello Send My Love (To Your New Lover) When We Were Young Love I The Dark 4/5
Pretty good... pretty good.
Starting off strong with Hello, honestly. It makes me feel sad and nostalgic and view my life through a much more romanticised lens than I would usually allow myself. A friend of mine wrote a book after having just moved to a new city. It was cold and depressing; she’d sit on the balcony and chainsmoke cigarettes, then go on dates with random fleeting men in the evenings. Maybe horrible to live but beautiful to reminisce. Similar vibes.
Man... All I ask is a gut puncher. A great album overall. Listening to it while going through a weird breakup is... so fun. It's interesting that Send my Love is as popular as it is. Her voice is generational.
Puikus balsas, gražios dainos.
I'll search for comprehensive information about Adele's album "25" to provide you with an in-depth review covering all the aspects you mentioned. Based on my research, here is an in-depth review of Adele's album **25**: --- ## Overview Released in November 2015, **25** represents a pivotal moment in Adele's career. Unlike her previous breakup-focused albums (*19* and *21*), Adele described this as a **"make-up record"** — an exploration of nostalgia, reconciliation, and coming to terms with adulthood rather than raw heartbreak. The album shattered commercial records, selling 3.38 million copies in its first week in the US alone — the largest single-week sales since Nielsen began tracking in 1991 . --- ## Lyrics & Themes **Central Themes:** - **Nostalgia and aging**: The album grapples with the passage of time and longing for youth ("When We Were Young," "Million Years Ago") - **Reconciliation and forgiveness**: Rather than burning bridges, Adele seeks to mend them ("Hello," "Send My Love") - **Maternal love**: "Sweetest Devotion" is a touching tribute to her son Angelo - **Self-reflection**: "River Lea" explores how her upbringing shaped her relationships **Standout Lyricism:** - **"Hello"**: "At least I can say that I've tried / To tell you I'm sorry for breaking your heart" — conversational yet devastating - **"When We Were Young"**: "Let me photograph you in this light / In case it is the last time" — capturing the fear of irreversible change - **"River Lea"**: "It's in my blood and I stain every heart that I use to heal the pain" — using geographic imagery to explore emotional inheritance The lyrics are **more mature and introspective** than *21*, showing growth from melodramatic heartbreak to nuanced reflection. However, some critics found certain tracks ("When We Were Young," "Remedy") to veer into "Instagram platitudinal emptiness" with limited insight into why these relationships mattered so deeply . --- ## Music & Production **Production Team:** Greg Kurstin, Ryan Tedder, Paul Epworth, Max Martin, Shellback, Danger Mouse, Ariel Rechtshaid, and The Smeezingtons (Bruno Mars). **Musical Diversity:** - **"Hello"**: Gothic, reverb-drenched balladry with bells and layered backing vocals — one of the album's most immersive productions - **"Send My Love (To Your New Lover)"**: Upbeat pop with guitar riffs and rhythmic percussion — a Max Martin collaboration that divided critics - **"River Lea"**: Danger Mouse's gospel-blues production with organ, wall of backing vocals, and a "dark, haunting" groove - **"I Miss You"**: Theatrical, sonorous beats with an infectious, singalong chorus - **"Million Years Ago"**: Stripped-back Spanish guitar arrangement highlighting vocal fragility **Vocal Performance:** Adele's voice remains the centerpiece — spanning from F₃ to A₅ on "Hello" . Critics consistently praise her "unmatched instincts as a singer," her understanding of "timbre and pitch," and her ability to infuse lines with "nuance and power" . --- ## Cohesion & Album Flow The album's **consistency is debatable**. While some praise its "shaded melancholy" and cohesive sound , others note it feels like "a compilation of singles rather than an actual album" with "wonky sequencing" . The shift from the gothic "Hello" to the sparse, pop-oriented "Send My Love" to the organ-saturated "I Miss You" creates a jarring listening experience . --- ## Cultural Impact & Influence **Industry Disruption:** - **Withheld from streaming** initially (Spotify, Apple Music) — emphasizing the album as a complete artistic work and driving physical/digital sales - Accounted for **3.6% of all albums sold in the US in 2015** despite only being available for six weeks - Credited with **"saving the music industry"** at a time of declining profits from streaming - Other artists (Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Sam Smith, One Direction) reportedly delayed releases to avoid competition **Awards & Recognition:** - **5 Grammy Awards** including Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Hello" - Debuted at #1 in over 30 countries **Legacy:** Ten years later, *25* stands as a "defining milestone" that bridged her early career to future endeavors, proving that "heartfelt songwriting and powerful vocals could triumph in an era dominated by streaming" . --- ## Pros | Strength | Details | |----------|---------| | **Vocal Mastery** | Arguably the greatest vocalist of her generation; unmatched dynamics and emotional delivery | | **Emotional Authenticity** | Genuine introspection and maturity; avoids cynical calculation | | **Production Highlights** | "Hello," "River Lea," and "Water Under the Bridge" showcase sophisticated, immersive soundscapes | | **Thematic Evolution** | Moves beyond breakup tropes to explore aging, motherhood, and reconciliation | | **Commercial & Cultural Impact** | Proved the viability of album-oriented releases in the streaming era | | **"When We Were Young"** | A standout collaboration with Tobias Jesso Jr. that combines '70s soul with modern emotional resonance | --- ## Cons | Weakness | Details | |----------|---------| | **Inconsistent Production** | Max Martin's "Send My Love" feels out of place; jarring transitions between tracks | | **Formulaic Balladry** | Falls back on "dreary piano ballads" as a default position; some tracks lack melodic distinction | | **Limited Musical Risk** | Some critics felt Adele and her team "did not take any risks musically," following a proven formula | | **Over-sentimentality** | "All I Ask" (co-written with Bruno Mars) and "Love in the Dark" verge on excessive melodrama | | **Lyrical Repetition** | Themes can feel repetitive; some lyrics described as "Moon/June" level banality with "no insight" | | **Vocal Effects Inconsistency** | Differing production styles make Adele sound "dramatically different on each song" | --- ## Verdict **25** is a **mature, emotionally honest work** that solidified Adele's status as a generational talent. While it lacks the raw, cohesive intensity of *21* and suffers from occasional formulaic tendencies, its best moments ("Hello," "When We Were Young," "River Lea," "Water Under the Bridge") demonstrate sophisticated songwriting and production. The album's greatest achievement may be **industry-level**: proving that artistic integrity and commercial success aren't mutually exclusive in the digital age. **Rating:** 4/5 — A very good album that occasionally plays it safe, but when it connects, it resonates with devastating precision. **Essential Tracks:** "Hello," "When We Were Young," "River Lea," "Water Under the Bridge," "Sweetest Devotion" **Skip:** "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" — unless you need gym motivation
21 was her magnum opus, but this still has some of her hits my favorite song is a tie between all I ask and when we were young, phenomenal songs
Some memories tied to this album, good times. Fave track: When We Were Young
i don't play about this album....
Adele is an incredible vocalist. This is a strong album, if not quite as emotionally resonant as her previous. 4/5
Canta legal nossa amiga Adele
Dude this is peak! I love Adele! Anytime I hear her I think of me and friend on a tiny like 10 person school van going to a tennis match playing blackjack in the back on our books while listening to her on my old phone that was about to die. Great times.
Album 1044 of 1089 25 - Adele (2015) Rating : 4 / 5 I never get tired of listening to a truly talented vocalist, and Adele certainly qualifies. This was an easy album to settle into - one that moves along effortlessly without demanding too much from the listener. There are a couple of tracks that clearly stand a little taller than the others, but as a whole, the album stays consistent from start to finish. The songwriting is strong, the production is smooth, and everything is built around letting her voice do what it does best. Nothing feels overworked or forced, just well-crafted songs delivered with confidence and control. Adele may be newer compared to some of the all-time great vocalists, but she carries that “top-tier” label comfortably. This album doesn’t try to reinvent anything - it simply delivers quality, and sometimes that’s more than enough.
A few great songs and some good ones. Probably about as close to a 5 as any album has gotten while still getting a 4 from me.
hell yeah
Niice
i lost my review of this. I essentially remember that this album had way more songs that I recognized than I would have anticipated. Adele has a killer voice, and this project is well constructed. Not sure I would ever listen again, but I can appreciate it for what it is
Adele, YIPPI!! 8.5/10
Great album
Four all the way. Great songs with even better vocals and arrangements. Water under the Bridge always gets me.
I loved it. All I ask is heartbreaking and a great bsides . Hello is a 10 beller
you know who's jealous of adele... looking back, the album was made kind of huge it doesn't feel like that when you listen to it a good album anyways and as always, adele and her voice are the greatest assets of the album, not the producing or the lyrics. even though they feel like very personal
More eclectic than 21 with an infusion of new genres but...less electric.
I absolutely love adeles voice. It's so smooth and freaking delicious. I know people complain about her not experimenting much with instrumentals etc but i love the focus on her voice because it truly is the star! Forgot how much I actually like her music. Yes a lot of the songs are similar sounding but i could listen to her voice all day. wow. 7/10
Prachtig album, niet het mooiste van Adele, maar zeker een must listen
Adele's voice is so clear and powerful. The album starts well but eased off after the third track and was slightly underwhelming. When she's good, she's amazing but some of the album passed by as filler for me.
