Foo Fighters
Foo Fightersok, but didn't keep my attention
ok, but didn't keep my attention
After all these years, this is the first time I've listened to the entire album. they were definitely innvative, even then. I lave the chord changes.
This is an incredble album. I still have the original record I bought when it came out.
I was never a big Elvis Costello fan, but his hits would allways be a high spot in my day. This wasn't an album I could sit all tha way through, but it was good.
I never listened to Green Day much. The album was better than I expected, but not a go to for me.
Before Usher, before Ice Cube, before hip hop, before George Clinton and funkadelic, the was Sly and the family Stone. He was the standard for funk and soul. I loved this album. Somereally good music here that still holds up.
Not bad! Itt reminded me of the B-52's music
One of the best concept albums and Gabriel's presence(and future direction) is felt throughout the album. They were such a great band.
aDD THIS TO ALBUMS iu SHOULD HAVE LISTENED WHEN THEY CAME OUT. a REALLY GOOD PERFORMANCE. i CAN HEAAR TALKING HEADS HERE AND THE A GREAT MOOD.
It''s Frank, what else is there to say?
Not a big fan of smooth jazz anymore. It was ok
Good music, but I could only take so much of the lyrics
Awesome! Why didn't I know about this album when I was a kid? Great rhythms and vocals.
A really good album, they showed off a maturity here (by RHCP standards) in their playing and writing. I could listen to this over and over.
She's great. Her voice is beautifully nuanced,, but sometimes I feel like it is surrounded by overproduction.
pretty good.
This is really, really good! I'm about 1/2 way through the album and just groovin' with it. and another one goes on my rotation!
really good album, another one for the rotation
The Standard. A brilliant step forward from the master. And he's not afraid to to let others shine, Chick Corea's playing being and excellent example.
Oh man, this is so much fun to listen to. it's going back to the roots for me.
ok, but didn't keep my attention
A lot of fun listening to this one.
Next....
I have always loved this album. It was part of my introduction to Jazz.
This album was so much better than her first. The production allowed her to better showcase her voice with less electronica and more natural instruments.
A good bar blues band
If there ever was a soundtrack to my youth, this is it.
A great album!
I fell in love with this one. I never listened much to them other than whats on the radio, now I have to go through their catalogue
a Great album, it's going on the rotation
I grew up with Todd Rundgren (quite literally as I spent my youth in Woodstock, Bearsville, and Mink Hollow). I love this album and never tire of it. And I have to say it, Todd is God!
I wanted to like this album. Dion has a great voice and excellent songwriting skills, but Spector's heavy handed overproduction undid it. I couldn't finish the album.
Some of his finest work hear. Listening to it again made me realize how much of an influens it had on my plaaying.
I've heard this more times than I want.
What can I add that hasn't already been said?
A major influence on my music and life.
This was great. I know all the musicians and the band but have never heard this album. Great stuff here, even back then their playing was awesome
This was great, not something I would listen to normally, but I get why it was so ground breaking. Really good music!
Never been a big Metallica fan, but this wasn't bad
Another great effort!
what a great album. I'm putting this in the Zero7/Tame Impala section of the library
ok,, but formulaic.
Death by beatbox.....
this was a great album. I'd never heard of them before and ended up listening to the rest of their albums. I'm in with this group!
I've already heard most of the album; it's good, Michael was a real talent
Not bad, but I've never been a big fan.
Always loved this album and it solidified Paul's career after the Beatles
GReat album, I love their music, but somehow missed this album
a great album bit not one of my favorites
I listened to his earlier stuff but not his one. It's a good album. Mick Ronsons shies on it.
Still a great album after all these years.
I'd like every current country artist to listen to this album and get back to their roots. From the opening guitar picking, this album is pure country.eir roots. From the opening guitar picking, this album is pure country.
This was a really nice surprise. The bassist on the first track was awesome;.
She was amazing. This is a first-time listen for me and just so blown away by her talent.
ok, but nothing spectacular
First time hearing this band and I loved it. listened to all the work for the rest of the day.
It's a good start for her career, but she has gotten even better over the years.
meh,
okay, but nothing special
I hated this band when it first came out and I still do. Incredibly formulaic and boring.
A great album that set the standard for the Grunge/Seattle scene
I love this album, always have and always willl
There aren't enough stars in the universe to rate how good this album truly is. I have the record and just kept playing it. Miles was the master.
good album, but not what I'm into. particularly firsst thing in the morning. Good lyrics... tho
This was a pleasant surprise. From the onset, it had me hooked
Welcome to my teens! This album was a sorely needed break from disco.
It isn't holding up well
a great album
One of their best albums. their work with Eno is a shining start
relaxing and a good vibe had by all
Yeow, I tried to listen to this album but only made it four songs in before I started searching for Xanax. You should listen to this album before you die just so you feel better about yourself. Credit to him him though for laying his soul out there.
What a great album. Eddie Vedder's voice has an incredible tone and the songs are classic. The whole band meshes perfectly. I spent the rest of the day listening to their entire library. This is a classic
Well, I'm in junior high again and loving it.
It's bit worn, but the standards are there.
a pleasant change to the previous music, I spent the day listening to this album and some great related tango
This album came out in '67, when I was ten, and not quite ready for it. Then it 1969 and my attitude on music was changing quickly. Listening to it now, I can hear the genius of his playing in a whole new way.
Loved this album when it came out but now, not so much. It's gotten a bit tired
ok. vocals got boring and repetitive halfway through
I still have this album. It was my first intro to bluegrass and I love it still.
A classic, it still hasn't grown tired for me
A great album. I never heard it through until now and now wish I had.
I love this album. Grew up trying to geet into the Big Pink in Saugerties (never did though). They were brilliant.
I think Chrrissie Hynde's voice is what make this such a good album rises it above a lot of othere bands at this time.
a wonderful album
Always a great listen
Lost interest quickly on this one
They were a great band at this poiny. Just one huge ball of talent (and ego unfortunately_)
A pleasant surprise
it was olkay, good music, but not something I would listen to again
a Classic. Princes talent shines on this one.
not bad, I'd put some of the songs in my rotation today. Didn't need the backstory tho
