Reviews (page 4 of 13)

Amazing intro with hello Really like the album until about "Million Years Ago", that's where the tracks become a bit too much for me 4/5 Standouts: Hello, I Miss You, Water Under the Bridge No's (2.5s): Remedy, All I Ask and Sweetest Devotion

Not my usual type of music, but she's got a great voice and the music was pretty good, too. I think previously this would have been a 3-star, but since I'm trying to be both nicer and more harsh, I'm giving this one four stars.

Amazing voice! Really smart artist! Great album!

J’aime beaucoup I Miss You et River Lea.

She is great!

an angel from heaven

La mayoría suena igual. La voz de Adele carga todo el álbum sobre sus hombros. Es como música de señora divorciada que vive en zona de dinero.

Banger album! Great voice! Ear-worm songs!

Not my typical listening, but Adele is an amazing singer. The composition and production quality is great!

She has a pleasant voice.

Really good album. I knew the singles off this album (Hello, Water Under the Bridge, Send My Love to Your New Lover) and there were several others that were really good as well. Haunting songs about heartbreak. Great vocals, great tunes. (4)

Schön

so good

> the Beatles

3/3. This is undeniable. Her vocals are off the charts, the arrangements feel timeless and epic. I’m wasn’t as moved by the more melancholy songs, but for love scorned and love found, she captures it about as well as anyone can.

Безусловно легендарный альбом

Álbum incrível. Ouvi algumas músicas na rádio na época. Foi bom conhecer as outras músicas do álbum.

All the bangers, all the lungs, straight up sanging

Impeccable recording and production quality and stunning vocals as you would expect. Enough variety to keep it interesting throughout, despite being predominantly sad woman with a piano. I thought the run time was the right length, most of the songs are over 4 minutes but it didn't drag. Just not my kind of thing really and I didn't connect with it emotionally, but I don't think that would ever happen for me with this style of music.

Badass

i've heard most of these songs before, peak childhood album

Lots of feelings and so obviously, an amazing vocal performance

What an amazing voice and old soul. Seem crazy that she was so young. The lyrics feel so mature… she has loved deeply, lost, and moved on. I knew the singles but sitting down to listen to the album front to back hits different.

While this isn’t my normal taste I enjoyed the album.

Adelee 😭😭❤️ but also i would only listen to like three of the songs in this album so -1star

favorite - sweetest devotion 7/10

Incredible vocals. Too pop for everyday listening. But still 8/10 album

I liked it, there some songs that aren't my favourite but she has a good voice so i don't mind.

Great voice. Some great tracks.

Unreal voice, was surprised how much I liked the album

Well, i love myself some Adele to dramatise my bus rides but i must admit this is not even her best album

Sad white girl bangers tbh…

this will be SO good when I'm older

maneirinho. tem uns hits babadeiros. escutei enquanto pintava as unhas.

Adele's "25" gets generated to me on the first day of 2026. What sort of cruel, twisted irony is this? I had the entirety of last year to get this album. It would have been perfect if I got it yesterday. But no. Big 1001 is laughing at me. Annoyances aside, I've always loved Adele. Some of my first memories of music was when my mum would play Adele when I was a lot smaller when making a lovely spaghetti bolognese, so this brought back some nice nostalgia. Adele's voice is phenomenal, and this album has some underappreciated bangers alongside ones I've never heard before. I Miss You was a great surprise. It is rather one-dimensional and there are a couple of songs in here that aren't as good. Adele is one of those few exceptions where I'd look to listen to individual songs of hers rather than a full album. Definitely on the higher side of 4.

So so so nostalgic All of her singles were absolute bangers Imagine being able to sing and write like that at 25 wow!!!

What a voice.

The two 2010s albums from Adele are very good. Plenty of hit tracks and is certainly a well crafted record that's also very, very popular.

com a adele, não tem erro. a voz dela é linda e as letras são muito bonitas. já conhecia a maioria das músicas, mas nunca tinha parado para escutar ele completo e fico feliz por ter escutado as músicas em sequência. muito bom!

Her albums are all good. This one has a few couple good songs

Classic tunesd

This was actually really enjoyable. I guess I was in the right mood today. And don’t worry, I know how much we all love Adele, but I do wonder which album of hers will really be The One that sticks historically. Today my bet is on this one.

I think the biggest hit on here is Hello, and really the song I heard the most in the wild from this album. However it is not at all the headliner for me when lined up to the rest of the songs. I was incredibly surprised by how good the other songs were on here that weren’t massive commercial hits. Just great vocals, great production, great pop.

obvious banger la queen a mangé et left no crumbs quoi grammy winning album ouais allez

Uhhhh... Ok. Prvi je bil itak hit takrat ("Hello"), kul komad, poje itak noro. Drugega tud poznam, ampak se ne spomnim a je bil single (bil, "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)"). Čist fletn, catchy. Ok, te k so bli singli so vsi catchy in dobri ("When We Were Young" in še "Water Under the Bridge"). "River Lea" mi je tud kul. Hm, ok. Morm rečt, da me je presenetil.

Solid fjarki, en get ekki splæst í fimmuna í þetta skipti.

Love Adele but this isn’t my favorite album of hers

It is a pretty standard pop album. I like the "epic" sound that Adele has. Everything sounds grand. The later part of the album I liked more, the singles are good but I associate them with memes so it is hard to take seriously.

Adele is so good. All bangers. Lots of songs I already knew on this one, but a handful of new to me. River Lea was so good, adding to my rotation. I could listen to this album over and over. 8/10. favorites - Send My Love (To your new lover) - When we were young - River Lea Interesting wiki facts:

This album is already embedded in my subconscience

Was never super into her music but it's nostalgic to hear from growing up.

Love the music. The lyrics are a bit cringe for a 25 year old, but I'm able to overlook them and focus on the music.

Adele is an incredibly impressive vocalist. I enjoyed listening but probably won't listen again. Just not my go to sound

I never listened to Adele before, aside from "Hello," which was everywhere. I was very impressed. There are songs I'll listen to again. Maybe it just hit me at the right moment, or maybe there's something really there that the entire world figured out before I did.

Very solid album. Liked it better on the second listen

I was already familiar with Hello from this album, but the entire album is great. Her voice is incredible, and the songs on here really showcase her talent well. This is not typically something I would choose to listen to, but I enjoyed this enough to add it to the rotation.

Lots of good hits on this one!

Full of banners. What a voice.

This album, for me, is her best. It makes me remember how much I love to sing! Production is kind of flawless - the recognition that Adele's voice pierces through really grand and dramatic production but performs equally well (if not better) with a stripped back and simple instrumental! I love it!!

Elskeeer albumet her. Mamma hadde det på hele tiden da jeg var liten, hun elsket Adele.

Great pop vocal album.

Stabil - 3.9

Having never listened to this I can say this album slaps. May become a 5/5 on further re listens.

Not really my type of music, but it's not bad and Adele has a great voice.

#14 Can't help but think of the SNL skit when "Hello" came on 🤭 overall a monumental album for Adele

Killer voice. This is my second album of hers, and it again feels like the age she claims to be on the album name is just a made-up number. The topic and musicality always seem like they should be coming from someone 10-20 years older. Having heard these only on the radio, the production on the album itself really comes across (credit to Apple lossless). Really enjoyed it, 4* Highlights: hello, send my love

Wow la voix de dingue

Overall enjoyable - more songs than just Hello

Shoulda been “21.” My respect for Adele is grounded in songs from that time, which my wife and I would play every day to get psyched up on the way to work. I remember feeling a little let down when “25” came out and I guess I still feel that way. There’s no denying the power of the opening track “Hello” … it shows she’s the undisputed master of a certain mood, but it’s not a mood I seek out from music very often. So I kind of get lost in the other tracks that reflect that. I liked the theme and sounds of “River Lea” and “A Million Years Ago”’… but honestly if this comes on I’ll probably switch to her other albums or songs. That probably doesn’t sound like a four star review, but it feels impossible to rate Adele lower. If I had no idea about her other work this might have been a three

the first act of this is some of adele’s best. i think this is both Not how i’m feeling as 25 approaches, and Not what i needed today as i am feeling sad at the moment

I'll admit I'm not cool. I'll also admit, a bit more sheepishly, I quite like Adele. Maybe a 'best of' would work best as some of these songs run into each other a little much. 21 her best album?

Day 127 First listen- What a gorgeous album! Her voice is absolutely majestic and the melodies are chef's kiss. (4/5)

Not my favorite by Adele, but still a solid album. When We Were Young is a stand out.

Didn't realize how many songs I knew from this album. It's a good one. Like it better than 21.

This is the best album from Adele the singer. "When We Were Young" might be her best song. It's lyrically, musically, emotionally, creating a scene that's personal yet relatable. It's specific and intimate, but still draws you in and asks you to engage personally. I've never had that experience, but I've have that emotion. The rest of the album feels like she's filling out the test. She aced the class on the midterms. 19 is an intimate open mike, 21 is an emotional powerhouse, and 25 is fine. Hello wants to be Someone Like You, and Send My Love and Water Under the Bride want to be power anthems without selling the power. It's got a few great deep cuts, like Million Years Ago or All I Ask, but as an album, I'd rank this last of her first three. And yet, it's Adele. Her worst song would be an album gem for damn near anyone. Again, I think this is her weakest album, and yet...

I've already listened to his album (30). It's not 21 but it still slaps. I have great memories of this album.

Stunning voice, stunning pop. Some skips.

Tricky... Amazing voice and production and the first half is 5 stars... But it does get boring towards the end, as it keeps bringing up the same sad ballads... This brings it down, but not by much.

not bad

She is an excellent singer, and her albums are beautifully produced. I have to say, I really enjoyed this — particularly a few tracks that stood out, and the overall impression is rather grand and dramatic.

Went in skeptical, glad I listened.

Great voice and first few songs are great. Gets a bit weaker down the album

Some very classic Adult Contemporary. I know Adele is 25 on this album, but she has the gravitas and voice of someone much older. There are obviously some songs I know from this album. Overall it's pretty enjoyable to listen to, but Adele does fall a little outside of the typical music I listen to. That being said, the quality of the songs and the production quality is definitely there, and I have no doubt Adele is going to influence music to come, though in the genre that she is, she sounds more like the culmination of singers that came before her (like Celine Dion or Mariah Carey). Only time will tell how this goes.

I've heard the hits but not the full album. But damn is it good!

This is a great album! Not my favorite of Adele's but it's a pretty good one! Couple of radio hits and lots of Adele sass haha

Great music for mourning a relationship at Barnes and Noble.

Some people call her the songbird of our generation

I love Adele man, absolute national treasure and one of the greatest British voices ever. Weirdly I’ve never listened to an album in full, though it’s hard to escape her on the radio, perhaps it gets a bit repetitive but when the voice is that strong it doesn’t really matter to me. Also, Hello is one of the strongest album openers I’ve ever heard.

What a once-in-a-lifetime talent Adele is. A high 4 stars from me, only because I think 21 was better.

This came out around the time I met my wife and I think was one of the last albums I remember buying on CD in order to listen to it rather than streaming it (l still buy CDs from time to time because they sound great and artists make more money that way) 25 has some staggering highs. Its front loaded, with Hello and When We Were Young especially carrying significant weight, but it’s a good listen and Adele’s voice is ridiculous.

A prime example of how my music tastes have changed, or rather, how more accepting I am of different music. I think when this album came out, I would have been vehemently against it solely because it was popular (even though the songs are good). Music is so much more enjoyable when you let dumb ideas like that go. I enjoyed this album pretty well, but it also made me realize that I haven't really heard Adele in a long time as well, unless it was one of her older songs.

Thanks to Spotify playlists, I rarely listen to whole albums anymore. I have listened to many of these songs but never once have I listened to this album in its entirety. This one has many that I enjoy but one towards the end that was a downer. This is quite the emotional album and I’m torn between ratings. Easily a high 4 but am settling for a lower star.

Não é meu estilo de música favorito, mas tem que reconhecer a qualidade do material. Ótimo disco de baladas.

This Queen dazzles

Great album- Adele's voice is incredible and Hello is awesome. Not quite as solid of an album as 21

Can’t believe I’ve somehow never listened to this in its entirety. Beautiful lyrics and vocals and classically Adele - though maybe too classic, as the album gets a bit repetitive, though I still enjoyed it. Favorite songs: When We Were Young, Sweetest Devotion, All I Ask

Ok pop album. You can hear which songs are hits and it actually makes everything else sound like very well sung filler. Man, what a voice this woman has... Still, this is a 3.5/5 for me

I've never sat and listened to an Adele song. I'm aware of Hello from an SNL skit. But she's not entirely outside my wheelhouse. I like good pop and a strong female lead. Grace Slick, Florence, Amy Winehouse, etc. If it's authentic I can dig it. Highly produced pop with simple, formulaic lyrics usually rings hollow, but that's not the case here. There's plenty of good lines, hooks, and music. My criticism might be that it sounds a little over-produced. The lyrics are good, but in some cases the big room production drowns out the soul. Send My Love is catchy, but I think it would sound better without the big kickdrum in the chorus. Same with I Miss You. Sure, that's just like, my opinion, but I'm wishing each song had a 1-3 piece folk version. The production has cajones, and probably that's the appeal for people who want to sing along in the car, but does every song need to be an anthem? It does settle down toward the end with Million Years Ago and All I Ask, and I think she shines on those. They're just 'girl with a guitar' and 'girl with a piano,' but her voice is so powerful that they have all the arena-filling drama without the booming drums and layers. But maybe the bombast is just her sound. Adele is Adele and she does it well.

Beautiful voice. Sounds like a sad breakup album so hard to get behind the lyrics fully.

I’m sure I’ll be the outlier here but this album came out at a time in my life where I was heartbroken in 16 different ways. Adele is great at being the soundtrack to the desperate need to have things back that were once yours.

I remember enjoying 21 when I listened to it courtesy of this list, and this follow up is pretty much more of the same. The music has developed into a slightly poppier sound, even touching on a gospel sound on the track River Lea. She still seems to be singing from the perspective of someone much older than the 25 years of age that she was at the time, with a remarkable amount of wisdom and insight. Not really my usual listening but a fine album nonetheless.

She's got such an incredible voice. Very good album, this.

Glad to discover Adele beyond Skyfall

Amazing vocal work with mature lyrics that combine for a fun, memorable album. Although there are a few weak songs with good but not great production. The biggest struggle of this album is a lack of identity compared to her other albums, causing some to sound bland and corporate. But when this album hits, it fucking HITS.

Sorry Adele, I didn't know your game. Some surprisingly impressive production on this album that veers into the unexpectedly fresh. fav tracks: I Miss You, Send My Love (To Your New Lover)

A classic pop album.

Adele has one of the best voices of this generation and her music is good. However, I was ready for it to be over by the time the album was closing out.

Being known for your singing doesn't always mean you're a great singer. Kurt Cobain for example has an iconic voice but wasn't exactly a "great singer." And having a great voice doesn't always equate to being iconic. But Adele may legitimately have the greatest voice on earth. Other than her big hits I wasn't that familiar with Adele's catalog and was enthralled by this album. I particularly like the last few tracks with the jazzy "Million Years Ago" as a stand out and "All I Ask" which reminded me of Hopelessly Devoted from Grease or a cheesy 80s prom type song... but somehow good! Now that accomplishment alone is worth a 4 all by itself.

I dont think Adele has a bad song.

Really enjoyed this. I had only heard the songs on the radio before. Powerful voice and driving beats. I would like to see a duet with Florence and the Machine.

obviously listened to this before. i think this is adele's best album. it feels daring at parts, but also has its classic adele moments. love this album.

Girl can sing, no doubt. She also writes much of her own music, which is impressive to me.

Not as loaded as 19, but the bangers bang nonetheless

A pleasant listen.

hey pretty good!

I’m blown away. I’m not a big pop music fan so I really haven’t heard any of her stuff. But I just told my wife, in a timeline that makes sense, Adele is the biggest woman pop star in the world, not the warm glass of milk that is Taylor Swift. Except…she only seems to make sad songs. So it starts to get a little same-y if you’re not actual depressed. Very impressed by this album. I probably won’t listen to the whole album again on my own, but I could see bringing up a couple of the songs when I’m in the mood.

Love “hello” and I like most of the singles. Generally not a ballad lady - so a few of the songs I didn’t love but Hello is so fab.

While it'd be unwise to say that Adele is not talented, I find a lot of her songs to be boring. This ain't my favourite album of hers, definitely. The problem is that I like her style, it's just a lot of her songs feel like misses to me.

Incredibly good.

Full of pop brilliance. Plus Adele’s voice. Great stuff.

Another classic. All her songs sound like standards after two listens. Would love to see her live just her and a piano.

I'm not quite sure if I'm ashamed to admit this or not, but I really like Adele's music. She is an undeniable, generational talent. And it's not just the voice, but the authenticity.

Beautiful voice. The album that made her a star

Great vocals

LFG!!!!!!! A beautiful album about coming into adulthood, having a baby, missing your younger and freer self. I loved it in 2015 and I love it now. "Music for moms" but if you're a mom you really get it.

One of the all time great voices. Songs are strong and production is good. I do get a little bored by the end, but I completely support this album’s inclusion on the list.

Never listened to this album fully through until today when this site prompted me to and it was lovely. The whole album could have been singles.

I really enjoyed this album. 21 is okay but 25 really shines. I never had any urge to listen to her but this album is very good. I really enjoyed the song River Lea

i mean. dude! it’s adele! crazy beautiful strong voice. love in the dark is definitely one of the songs of all time for me, but i haven’t listened to the rest of this album much. it’s all very beautiful and romantic, and strong in its genre of ballads, i’m just not that much of a ballad gal all of the time. overall just so moving and beautiful.

Production a tad overwrought and polished to appease those AC radio listeners, but that voice makes even the middling tracks on this record soar.

If you like Adele you'll love this album. Every time I hear Adele I'm blown away by the voice on that woman. She can sing. Her music isn't really something that I would listen to all the time but I can absolutely appreciate the ability she has. Part of the problem with this album in particular is that it all feels a little too formulaic. Like she found a sound she wanted and stuck with that throughout the entire record. Most of the songs have similar vocal lines, similar instrumentation, and are produced to all kind of sound the same. I feel like that's intentional. I do think this is probably a better album than 21 on the whole. It's another tough one to rate because I don't think I'd give it a 4 but 3 is way too low. So I guess I'd call it a 3.8 and round up to 4/5.

Su voz y este álbum, difícilmente superables

Great production. Strong melodies. Brilliant vocals. Lyrics don’t do much for me, but I guess songs about love gone cold and not being able to revisit the past are timeless and appeal to the masses. Good album! 4/5.

An artist I’m somewhat familiar with, yay! Also one of the first “modern” artists I got in my album listening journey. I think a lot of people sell this particular album short, it’s not 21 that has absolute bangers like Rolling in the deep and Someone like you that are far messier and more torn about the whole break up situation. 25 is much more subdued and yet has the same emotional complexity, the wound has just healed over and the remaining feelings are weaker by now. And I think this fits in beautifully with the albums idea of maturing/ ageing. 25 might be young to mourn your youth but 25 might be one of the first ages where the concept of “aging” becomes scary. And maybe I’ll look back on this in 30 years and go: damn I was a dumbass back then, but that will likely be the case anyways 👌 I don’t know how to describe this but while being, just sound wise, a rather standard pop album I like the subtlety of it all. “Hello” is bitter in a different way than Someone like you was. The emotional hugeness of “Set fire to the rain” and “Rolling in the deep” aren’t reached in this album at all but I don’t think they should be. These songs speak of fresh pain while “I miss you” , “Send my love (to your new lover)” and “When we were young” is a more reflective and “quiet” approach to them. Even “River Lea” which is far more of an extermination of the narrators inner world (-> examining own patterns of not apologizing, blaming the outside worlds influence for their own faults) and “Water under the bridge” being a more positive look on a new relationship are deeply influenced by the “healed wound” that was open in 21. And it should be like that! Not being over an old relationship is an interesting theme and motif in the fast lived culture of modern pop and just because Adele keeps poking at it doesn’t mean she only takes one approach. I like this album, I like it far more than its best known hit tho. Hello is just not my kind of song. Tho it has some banger moments.

Inconsistent album, but the highs hit very well. I liked it.

This album was much better than I remembered. I think it especially hits well as a cohesive piece. A lot of these songs were overplayed so it’s good to hear them in context.

Slower pop songs, very popular album. No complaints, mastering was good but not mind blowing.

I always try to guess who we will talk about in 50 years when we look at the music from the 2010s on. Adele is a strong guess of mine and this album a reason why. Obviously her awesome voice carries this entire lp, but this should not distract you from neatly put together arrangements and great songwriting. Like the concept of a make-up album - making peace with yourself and your past. Hello, i miss you, remedy, love in the dark sweetest devotion - all highly emotional bangers that hit hard. What a talent she is! :) And yay, finally a female voice on here. Below 10% So far with my draw here.

thoughts: another album on this list where the big hits were huge for a reason, but i did enjoy some of the deeper cuts as well. overall a very good album with good lyrics and obviously her voice is a powerhouse songs: “send my love (to your new lover)”, “i miss you”, “all i ask” rating: 7.8/10

Awesome! Adele is one of my all time favs 21 was like on constant repeat as a kid and I anticipated this album so much and hello did not disappoint. Some great album cuts on here too. 4.5

Pop ballads for the ages. Not as good as 21 though… but has some pretty incredible songs like All I Ask and When We Were Young. Some serious album cut misses tho… so more of a 3.5 to me.

Que des bangers

Álbum muito agradável de ouvir. Curti bastante. Celest Phoenixcall.

don’t even need to listen to this one. it defined my middle school years. nostalgia factor +2.

Wow I had never listened to Adele before, definitely a great voice and catchy and emotional tracks. I'm not sure I'll go and seek out more Adele, but a solid 4 star album for me.

Not her best, but still a really solid album. The acoustic guitar-driven loop on "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" is really cool. And the chorus kills. "Hello" ended up being overplayed and parodied (see SNL's Thanksgiving sketch--hilarious), but when you get past all of that, it is actually a really good song. "I Miss You" kind of calls to mind Florence and The Machine. 4 stars

Proof that finding a winning formula isn't always the same thing as being formulaic. Here, there are enough distinct configurations for Adele's explosive crooning, laser-precise crescendos and startlingly effective songwriting to add up to a very entertaining album. High 4.

Brought me a new appreciation for this artist

Solid album. She really has some pipes on her. I’ll wager sad ladies fucking LOVE this one. I enjoyed it. 3.5⭐️

I enjoyed this one. Adele has super strong vocals that carry any tracks with weaker production, but most everything hits on this LP anyways. "Send My Love" is my favorite of tbe singles from this album, it has a more upbeat, poppy sound that contrasts with Adele's spiteful lyrics, the most spiteful she'll get on this album. My favorite track by far is "Love In The Dark", it really feels like it gets across the albums themes of lost love, nostalgia, and the past with some beautiful orchestral backing. My only criticisms are that the choruses can be a little repetitive at times, not helped by the length of alot of these tracks, and that most of my least favorite tracks are concentrated in the middle, leading to somewhat poor pacing. Overall, feels like listening to a sad ghost recount their life story to you.

First time I have listened to a complete album of Adele. I knew some songs like Hello and Miss You beforehand. I was also familiar with others from social media, such as Love in the Dark. I found the album repetitive. Similar emotions and stories are told across the album: love, break-up, growing up, and missing the old life we used to have. Sounds are similar as well. This is not always a negative aspect for an album, but it is still something I noticed. Some songs were so generic that I felt like leaving the cinema after watching a Pixar/Disney movie with my kids. Take Water Under the Bridge for example. The flow of credits arises in my mind immediately. Some songs really touched me. I already listened to and love Miss You. Love In The Dark had a similar effect. I liked how she adapted Phantom of the Opera in Million Years Ago. This song made me remember everything I missed about my life in Ankara. As I am also planning how I will move on with my career in Europe these days, I can foresee all the things I will miss in my future life as well. I will likely listen to some songs from this album then. - I wrote the previous review in the middle of the day, but in the rest of the day some songs stuck in my head. This is why, I increase my rating from 3 to 4.

how does she do it

The hits hit, the rest pretty meh. The hits do push it to a 4 star

I actually really liked it.

Amazing voice and some great songs

It was just like a movie, it was just like a song… Hello ist sowieso Nostalgie und Adeles Stimme ist einfach mega! Auch wenn ich die anderen Songs größtenteils noch nicht kannte sind die echt gut

Hello was a top hit so I gotta respect it. She also has a great voice.

this is her best imo

Pretty good!

will forever and always love her

wait why did i like not like it that much

i find this one more musically interesting and mature than her others.

Helllooooo

This was interesting because I think this was the first "Pop" artist album I've had come up for this project. I was interested to listen to the full album because I was only familiar with Hello and Send My Love. Adele undeniably has an incredible voice and the album is very well produced. Her songs have passion and drama, and this album (as with any of her albums) are a great fit if you're in a melancholy-romantic mood. Would listen again and made me curious to listen to 30.

Great album.

Starkt!

Överlag riktigt fint, och "When We Were Young" är fenomenal

big voice

Favorite Track: Hello

Just like 21 ! Amazing! Love Adele! I would gladly listen to this album anytime it comes on! love Adele!

Pretty great. Adele has a great voice, and most of these songs hit for me. I knew this list skewed more to the UK but man, the reviews I read on this make it seem pretty obvious, lol.

The last good Adele album in my personal opinion.

Liked the deep cuts more than the singles, though that could also be because of over-saturation. I think this one is winding up in my regular playlist.

I just straight up didn’t listen to this album

I like Adele. I said it on the Smokey Robinson album earlier, but between Adele and Amy Winehouse, I feel like they took the dusky soul singer sound Robinson started and perfected it. Or, at least took it up a notch. I think a lot of people take her down a peg because of her non-musical career, but when this album came out it was awesome. A lot of people lose sight of that, or they say she only does one type of song, or it's music for moms and breakups. Whatever. She has he thing and does it really well.

Never gave Adele a chance, and was pleased with what I heard. Every other song saved.

Although I know we've already gotten Adele's debut album, and I generally wish most artists only get one album in the collection (to make room for others), I'm happy to get another chapter of her journey singing through heartbreak and seemingly wearing her heart on her sleeve, but also happy to hear her exploring beyond that range in her lyrics (and music). I'm never quite sure why I have a soft spot for Adele, and not for other similar anguished/emotional singers in this collection like Tori Amos, Alanis Morisette, etc. but I do. I'm impressed at how many songs I recognized from this album through various airplay services (radio, Pandora, etc.); my favorites are her singles "Hello", "Send my love" (both with decent videos), "When we were young", and "Water under the bridge", as well as "River Lea". And a thank-you to Adele and this album for singlehandedly reviving the idea and popularity of the album format in 2015--it's kind of hard to imagine how *any* album could have sold 3.38 million copies in the US in the first week it was released.

Very strong entry from the somewhat divisive Adele - I know plenty of people that just don't like her at all, but there's no mistaking that she has a stonking voice. Favourite tracks: Hello, I Miss You, Remedy, Love In The Dark, Million Years Ago, All I Ask.

What a lady

Damn, I guess I like Adele? What happens now? She’s got the best voice of anyone going right now. That ‘hello from the other side’ chorus always gives me chills, and I didn’t realize how many of these I knew and already kinda liked, despite never having consciously chosen to listen to Adele. Would love to hear her do a rock album, as I think she could be even better if she exchanged some of her melodramatic/maudlin sensibilities for a more playful and fun edge. But that’s just my taste - Adele rocks.

I’ve never really listened to Adele and think of it as music for sad women. Well sign me up to be a sad woman because I enjoyed this. Sure it’s all familiar pop chord progressions but the gal has PIPES and she uses em. This was fun. Fuck me up

One of the most beautiful voices of our time, big regrets not catching her on that Vegas residency. Don’t love every song on this album, takes a dip in the middle, but the hits are aplenty - Water Under the Bridge my favorite this time through - and Sweetest Devotion is a new like for me.

bastant xetat, masterpiice en verdad

Pipes on pipes on pipes

Very good

HOLY SHIT this is the first time an album from this generation gets picked. LMAO Ok, everyone who isn't an absolute monster loves Adele, and there's a reason for that. Even her overplayed songs are beautiful (which is why I can be biased while listening to "recent" albums, bc... they're literally playing on the radio rn), and her voice is just angelic. Incredible break-up album right here. also, giggled my way through the entire 3min of Water Under The Bridge bc I kept thinking of that one Megan Thee Stallion dancing meme

7/10 I got several moments of frisson from this album. That isn't an easy thing to do, so you get the four stars. 6-27-2025

Pain. Sadness. Loneliness. Heartbreak I really think "When We Were Young and Love in the Dark" are well written songs....the rest of the album is kind of boring to me (same song different verse). Adele has an amazing voice though. I wish I could give this a 3.5. I'm not sure it deserves the 4 I will be giving it.

I enjoyed this Album, it has a great mix of slow and up-tempo ballads. The lyrics and musicality are amazing and Adele’s voice is marvellous.

Someone should teach Adele how to say “Hello”. Adele is the kind of artist that I could see all of her songs having alternate stage performed interpret dancing routines music videos for. The first half of the album is all the huge hits which is weird because I feel like all her songs are structured exactly the same. Honestly maybe it came down to Adele fans not having the attention span to make it to the second half because they are same as the first half. Similar to the other Adele album the background music takes a backseat to her singing which works as she does have a very strong voice. I don’t know if I said this before but she is like Amy Whinehouse without the overdosing and a bit less raspy crying. 8/10

🌟 Rating: 3.6/5 Short Review: It’s the sound of a powerful voice turning emotional voicemails into Grammy-winning power ballads. Beautifully sung, immaculately produced, and emotionally enormous—but sometimes it feels like your aunt’s Facebook post turned into an album. 🎧 Favorite Track: “When We Were Young” It’s like someone bottled nostalgia and then whispered it back to you with perfect pitch. Also: hello, string section. ⚙️ Consistency With Me: 4.4/10 I’m allergic to earnestness in large doses. This album is all high drama, no irony—like a soap opera but with a voice that could shatter a glacier. I respect it deeply. I just don’t cry that way. You, however? You probably listened to it once on a rainy drive and stared out the window like it was a breakup montage.

didn’t realise i knew so many of these songs, always an amazing vocalist

love adele

Enjoyed this a lot more than expected because I thought I’d tune out quickly - refreshing to hear a record full of someone taking accountability for apparently being a selfish jerk in their youth 😂 it’s timeless as we discussed in the group chat and “River Lea” particularly stood out to me, I hadn’t heard that one before

Adele stop being so sad 😔

A classic album. Adele took pop music to the next level with this album.

While I still wish she would branch out a little more with her style, this album felt like it had more variety and had a great sound overall

No m'esperava un àlbum tan modern. Hi ha bastantes cançons que ja coneixia, així que molt bé.

Loved this album when it came out but def over listened to it

Adele is someone who can be a bit hit and miss for me (in terms of her music, not her as a person - I’d very much like to be friends with her). The standout for me on this album has always been “River Lea”, and listening to it again just reminds me how much I love it. Whilst there are some misses on this album for my personal taste, even they are clearly well-crafted, well-written tracks that show just what a talent she is.

Great voice and a good number of songs on the album.

Excellent

Adele does not miss.

Хороший поп, Адель топ, есть интересные треки, в общем для меня не на каждый день, но сложно недооценивать ее талант

Good stuff, but all the songs were pretty similar

369/1001 🌕🌕🌕🌗🌑

Listed on headphones via Amazon. Overall had some nice and varied production. Million Years Ago was a surprise track.

I LOVE THIS ALBUM SOOOOOO MUCH!!! each song holds so much emotion, definitely is one of my favorite adele albums. "when we were young" gets me every time. it is achingly beautiful. adele is so talented, i love her.

Definitely gives me vibes of my high school days, but I actually like it now a lot more than back then. Some classics on here

A lot of overproduced pop songs on here but also some absolute classics. Finishes much stronger than it starts

heartbreaking, I love it

Every track is strong and well produced. Vocals are spot on and a surprisingly enjoyable album.

Nice voice

Not her best, but still so so good.

Can't deny the voice.

Good album

Capital p Pipes

Yes I’m a still a sucker for Adele’s voice. I think she is an amazing talent. Some of her music is super corny and downright annoying but just for her voice she’s an automatic 4 stars. I think the other record is better maybe? Not sure.

Not to necessarily detract from how good this album is, it is the least of Adele’s albums. It is heavy on the balladery and feels like an album made by an older saber artist looking to pad their shows with new material. The opening two songs are those great set pieces.

Beautiful voice.

Peak white girl musikk

again with these 2010s throwbacks. where were you when this album released a decade ago? adele certainly pulled out whatever she could for this memoir of sorts, reflecting on her life at the age of 25. dramatic and almost grieving, this album, from its overplayed hits as well as the forgotten songs in-between paint a clear picture of adele's emotions. someone is aching about time gone by, and at the same time someone is hoping to gain wisdom as one grows older. sound isn't fully my thing, but it's a very pretty album.

Album lowkey hits

Pop, Rock, Jazz, Ballade,, 2015 -> 4

Great voice. Music gets a bit repetitive. Except for Million Years Ago... nice change of pace.

This album is like the film Apollo 13, I liked it. Although this album doesn’t have Tom Hanks or Kevin Bacon in it so it loses a star for that.

Lots of radio hits. Great powerful voice nice melodies.

Love Adele! One of the best singer-songwriters of our time. All eleven songs on this album are incredibly vulnerable and packed with emotion. Obviously the singing is incredible. She has one of the best, most expressive voices of all time. Songwriting is underrated. Production is everything it needs to be. She keeps it exciting throughout the whole project. I love this. This is one of those albums that just *barely* misses the perfect score mark. Still, a wonderful success. 4/5

Beautiful from start to finish

норм, но сильно никогда не нравилась она.

Undeniably a very talented vocalist. I think it's justified being on this list so I'm giving it 4 stars despite the fact that it isn't the kind of music I'm that interested in

good. 4 stars

1. Hello - 10/10 2. Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - 6.8/10 3. I Miss You - 8/10 4. When We Were Young - 9/10 5. Remedy - 8/10 6. Water Under the Bridge - 6/10 7. River Lea - 6/10 8. Love In The Dark - 8/10 9. Million Years Ago - 7/10 10. All I Ask - 9.5/10 11. Sweetest Devotion - 8/10 8/10

4,5 tipaza

actually really good

I grew up listening to Adele, and she is always a joy to listen to. I only knew a few songs from the 25 album going into it, and I truly enjoyed every song this album had to offer. Adele has one of the best voices in the modern era. Looking at this album as a retrospective of her life story at the age of 25, and me being around that age currently, I felt I resonated with a lot of the songs more than I would have if I heard them when the album first released. I would definitely listen to the whole thing over again.

First and foremost, her voice is INCREDIBLE. like HOLY COW. Of course I like some of the more famous ones, like Hello. It’s nice to relisten to that song after so long. This album was moving. Like, I think I felt something shift inside of me. When We Were Young is INSANE (also Mattfoggy coded). Remedy is a deep cut that I was NAWT ready for (also Buddie coded). I think there is something that’s almost soul bearing when you make an album and call it your age that you are when you make it. Idc how popular she is, i’m still going to call her underrated, because why have i never heard of some of these bomb ass songs?? Million Years Ago sounds like something you’d hear at a jazz club while grabbing a quick drink. Her voice is amazing, and while she may not have complex lyrics, they are still pretty great. Vocals were BROUGHT to All I Ask. The shift and key change was downright spiritual. I think my favorite was probably Sweetest Devotion or Remedy or Send My Love. This album was great, and I would definately listen to some of these songs individually!! This album opened my eyes to how talented Adele is (and how much I like her music)

Great voice and powerfull singing. 4/5

Strong voice. Solid music. Million Years Ago moved me the most. I can give this a 4.

This album has a lot of themes of relationship regret and transitioning from a simpler youth to a more complicated adulthood. All in all, I thought this was a pretty solid pop album. Reminded me a little of Dusty Springfield in that the songs have a vintage or timeless aspect to them while still being emotional with powerful vocals. Adele's voice kind of sounds like she's going to be hoarse, despite her ability to belt it out. I wonder if she uses the best vocal technique, especially in the quieter parts. I found it a little distracting, but then again, I'm easily distracted.

Fun melodies here and there and a great voice. Strong start, boring in the middle but picked up again around track 8. I was surprised how many songs sounded familiar until I noticed almost every track had 100m+ listens on spotify and 3 songs had over 1b. Obviously this album hit hard. The album cover made me feel uncomfortable, I don't like the way she is looking at me. I feel like she is waiting for me to apologize for something that wasn't my fault. Favorite songs were: Send My Love (To Your New Lover) - have heard this one before but it was way more of a banger at full volume. Million Years Ago - this had a great soulful feel over the mellow acoustic backdrop, I felt like the guitar went really well with her voice. 8/10

Ok to mellow for me

How did I not know about River Lea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8/10 Fave: When we were young

Amazing singer belting out some fantastic songs.

A lot of these songs are super beautiful and she is one of the most beautiful singers of our time obviouslyyyyy. But it's so hard to hear this and not feel like it's "of it's time" because these songs feel so associated with a certain period of music. But when I actually think about it, songs like "Water Under the Bridge" and "Hello" are not actually "what music sounded like in 2015" because there wasn't really anything else like that at the time, it's just that the songs were so ubiquitous that it felt like it was the universal sound. Unfortunately that took away from my enjoyment of the album overall because it made it sound dated to me WHICH I KNOW ISN'T FAIR...but I just couldn't fully get into it for that reason. But the songs that are good are soooo good so I was really trying to hear them for what they were. I don't think this is actually her strongest album though because it lags for me in the second half and the songs start to sound a bit too similar for me.

hi 👋🙂

Tremendously talented singer. Great voice.

The album really delivers on the concept that there are no surprises, but in a powerful way. The opener sets the stage perfectly for this melancholic tour de force. The lyrics don’t mean much to me, but I could listen to Adele sing anything. Rating: 4.5

Adele only has bangers

The first two songs.... Wow... awesome. If only the album carried that same intensity the entire way. still some good songs but never kept the creative and impactful intensity that 'Hello" brought in the first track

Production of this albums shows that Adele can turn heart break into an anthem, a bop and a track that manifests that lone tear sneaking its way from your heart and onto your cheek. Tracks range from long goodbyes, painful reminiscences, fire to fight for what you love and sprinkled with a hope for the future. Standouts:!Hello, Send my love, When we were young, Water under the bridge, Remedy, Love in the dark, Million years ago

Good songs and singing

Liked 21 more.

Again, rather nostalgic album for me. Liked it.

Overall, it's a good expression of Adele's life experiences through her lyrics and singing tone. Some may say it's simple, but I believe that she offers what is needed to evoke the feelings pertinent to the contents. This album would make great songs for contemporary and lyrical performances.

So I didn't remember this, but apparently I had banned Adele from car rides with my gf, but after actually listening to her, I'm gonna have to rebuke that. This lady can sing, dude. All of these songs are full of life and passion. I can't wait to belt these with her on road trips.

Crazy how it's not close to being her best album and there's only one or two misses on this one, not something I'd put on but wouldn't complain about it being on as they're all good songs

This just is a really good album. Her voice is fantastic, it has highs and lows, and yes it's a female singer songwriter piano ballad album but it is a bloody good one.

Adele’s voice is incredible. The album is a bit long for me and runs together in some spots where it starts to sound similar throughout the whole album. Other than that, this album captures her performances really well.

a super solid, impressive album. obviously outstanding vocals but without giving up a very unique voice and way of singing which i hadn’t really noticed with Adele before

I will always have love for artists that can move CDs. Enya, Norah Jones. This woman's voice and music transcend generations, and that deserves notice. The pure strength of the songwriting, the voice, etc.

When we were Young is enough to give this album a 4

Adele sings the sad songs and she does it pretty well. I tend to like her songs better when she gets more creative with the instrumentation and has a strong beat (Send My Love, I Miss You, Water Under the Bridge). It gets a little boring for me when it's just her and the piano but even that sometimes works well (All I Ask).

Dammit Adele, I’ve enjoyed letting you annoy me over the years. But listening to a full album and trying to put my bias of you being overly dramatic and extra aside, I actually really enjoyed this. Beautiful emotional vocals and lyrics, super polished production, hits me in my feels more than I thought it would…especially since I most definitely do not consider myself an Adele fan. Maybe I do now. Maybe.

Great vocalist, lovely tracks, fantastic production, not really my genre of choice most of the time.

This album hit me hard. While it is a simple album lyrically and musically, Adele's voice is just so powerful. The themes really hit me as I'm going through a breakup and still feeling a lot of emotions about it. Not quite a 5 star for me but a solid 4.

Adele has a lovely lovely voice and I am always in awe. this album again has the same issue that I have with contemporary romance novels and that it's always about one thing and it's either I'm so happy or I'm so sad which you know is valid. it's the artist's expression of their own feelings, but the entire album together is a lot. :P

Not as good as 21 IMO, but still miles ahead of her contemporaries

After the last few records put my patience to a severe test, Adele's 25 is more up my alley. However, I would have picked 21, as I think the material is stronger, while 25 sounds like a continuing variation of its predecessor. Highlights include Hello, When We Were Young and Sweetest Devotion.

Such an amazing voice, was only familiar with hello, but the album felt very consistent and polished, nice listen

I'll admit that I LOVE Adele's voice, even before listening to the album. Something about it... just... mmm. Enough of my soulful songstress crush. Anyway. I won't say this is banger after banger. I don't think I'd heard Remedy before, and it was touching. Like deeply touching. I really liked "Million Years Ago". All in all, a good album. My Rating: 4/5

Starts out very strong and while there are some good tracks, it's not all certified fresh, but a good listen.

Another great record by Adele. She surpassed the standard she had set with "21".

Adele is probably the one with the least auto tune in this autotune heavy pop generation. This album has some very good piano ballads with powerful vocals. Favorite track: hello other picks: water under the bridge, i miss you, when we were young

A very listenable album, albeit generally pretty slow.

After the first 4 songs, I was ready to give this album 4/5, but it did seem to drag on. I like her sentimental songs more than I like her upbeat songs. There was a lot of really cool instrumentation throughout her music that kept me interested even though it was slower. For example, the syncopated drums in "I Miss You" was really cool, the acoustic guitar paired with her vocals in "Send My Love" I thought was incredible, the piano and vocals in "Remedy" were captivating. That's where I said to myself, "Yeah this album is incredible, wow!" "Water Under the Bridge" came on, and I thought it was okay, and by "River Lea" I was starting to have second guesses on my 4 rating and the album kinda went downhill from there. Not in a "crash and burn" sort of way, but the magic that the beginning of the album had went away. I think I'll still give it 4/5 because I did really like it and I'd like to remember how much I liked it.

Hadn’t heard this one in a while. It’s a killer. What a range she has, and the emotion comes pouring out of every song. “Sweetest Emotion” is such a strong closer; I crank it LOUD

ofc it’s amazing because it’s Adele, but not her best album

Very well done

Pretty solid album. Adele has a phenomenal voice and it’s on full display here. Hello is a great song and a great start to the album. I think my biggest issue is it just gets kinda repetitive. Every song is some desperate goodbye to a lover or plea to get them back. This alone is fine but they’re all done in the same sad, ballad style. Still a good album though

Obviously very poppy. But the voice is just something else. Really enjoyed listening to this!

I know it's trendy to shit on Adele these days, but this album is quite good. I think it is one of the few pop records in the past few decades that actually deserves the popularity garnered. IMO it is her best, although her previous two albums were quite good as well.

I was excited to revisit this album now that I am indeed 25. Listening to it now though, I found it a bit too melodramatic. But maybe I’m just not heartbroken, and no one has ever felt anything romantic while listening to Adele at the office…

Better than I thought it would be. I've never really listened past 21 before
