Every song was extremely solid and memorable. Kept hearing the main singers voice sound a lot like Patti Smith.

From a band I’ve never heard of, but now I’m glad that this was recommended to me. Almost no bad songs. What’s with all the Black Sabbath references though?
Put bluntly, the best album I’ve heard in a while, and I feel no need to elaborate furthur

Instrumentals build an atmosphere and make whenever Bowie starts singing on the album feel like a moment.
Prince explores themes of dance, music, sex, and romance like no one else can, and no one else ever will.
Good ideas and some memorable soundscapes, but not consistent enough to be an above average album in my eyes. 3.5
Been scanning for anything wrong with this album and I can’t find a thing. Immaculately produced, excellent songwriting, beautiful voice, consistently, and it actually made me emotional which is not something I though I would say about songs that routinely play in my mom’s car.
It took me another listen for it to set in that this album is more fun than it is anything else. My original problems with it are still there like how some songs are too short or forgettable, but critiquing this album doesn’t really seem fair to me because it’s not a masterpiece ce. It’s just something to put on while you’re doing something else. 4
An absolute masterpiece where multiple songs could hold the title of best song ever. A portal to something that sounds more wonderful than anything I could begin to imagine. Every noise on the album conveys that sense of wonder, even the darker cuts carry a sense of being in another place at another time.
I don’t have much to say about this one except for how it uses alot of different styles and does them all pretty well. Thinking about it in the lens of Alice in Wonderland, it is kind of a surreal journey from one destination to the next. That isn’t to say it doesn’t hav it’s. Forgetttable tracks though
Harmonica is everything. I like this album overall. It really is kind of an evolved version of the Mudhoney in Superfuzz, however still the same in all the ways I care about. Vocals, garage punk, and production that shows all this off. Good album. I wanted to listen to it again the second it was over. 4
