1001 Albums Summary

I've heard quite a few of the songs in this album already but still enjoyed it. Some good bangers in here!

White winter hymnal is one of my favourite songs so this album was a hit. I did like the slower pace and melancholy feel of it but definitely an album you have to be in the right mood for.

There were a one or two songs that stood out and I'd listen to again. Otherwise, it's not real I style of music I like too much.

I quite like the electric music genre and enjoyed a few of these songs. But some of the songs are more repetitive, I liked them better when there were either less lyrics so the focus was more on the music or when the lyrics were more varied. Overall, it was a nice change to what I usually listen to.

It was good but more something I would listen to I'm the background while reading.

It was okay as background music but not really the style I listen to.

It's not what I usually listen to but it does make you feel a little cool when you listen to it while doing ordinary things. I quite liked Lucretia and Take No Prisoners in particular.

I enjoyed the overall vibe of the album. I've even added When We Parted and Brother Woodrow/Closing Prayers to one of my playlists.

A very enjoyable album. It made for good background music as well as music to unwind after a long day. I particularly liked Cry For Me and Won't You Give Him (One More Chance).

This was a solid album, a good listen. I've heard the song Spellbound by this band before and really enjoyed it, so it was the standout of this album.

Kate Bush is always good and Running up that Hill has been my favourite of hers for a long time. An enjoyable album with nice softer music, Jig of Life and Hounds of Life were both another highlight to the album.

I only knew one song from the album which was Crawling that I quite enjoyed. The rest of the album felt quite similar, an okay album but not one I'd revisit.

I've always liked the title song of the album, so it was interesting to hear the rest of the album. I liked (We Are) The Roadcrew and Fire Fire the best of the songs I hadn't heard before. The album's not my usual style but it was a refreshing change.

First song of the album (Plainsong) really matched my mood when I put it on. I was walking home from walk, it's just after sunset but it hasn't become pitch black yet. The air is crisp and the ground wet, grey clouds fill up the sky and I'm tired but not in a bad mood. This first song, then subsequently the album, helped turn my tiredness into a pleasantly relaxed calmness. A good way to end the workday. One of my favourites of the album was Lullaby.

Another good album from Kate Bush. My favourite song of this album was This Woman's Work.

I don't listen to much jazz but this was a really good album and was nice and relaxing to listen to. It also gave me good similar suggests afterwards on Spotify autoplay so was doubly happy to have listened to it.

Didn't like the first two but I liked Lush 3-1, Lush 3-2 and Impact (The Earth Is Burning). The rest of the songs were better than the first two as well, so overall a good album and a nice change pace to what I usually listen to.

A good album, not the usual style listen to and I can be really hit and miss with rap music but I really enjoyed it. I liked Come Into My House, The Pros and my favourite was Princess of the Posse.

An right album, I liked Do You Compute and Luau. The rest all sort of blurred together.

The album was hit and miss for me. I liked Something For the Weekend and The Dogs & The Horses. But I didn't like Middle-class Heroes and A Woman of The World.

Loved the classic Come As You Are. I also really liked The Man Who Sold The World, Pennyroyal Tea, On A Plain, Plateau, Where Did You Sleep Last Night and All Apologies. Which doesn't leave many songs left that I haven't mentioned. The rest of the bum was enjoyable those were just the stand outs on a really solid album.

Weird music style but I liked Don't Go Nowhere.

Their music is quite interesting as there's lots of sound and notes I have heard before in other songs. An example is some of the sounds in The Paw Paw song. Sounds like they were definitely experimenting a bit with their music. I liked the songs, Needle's In The Camel's Eye and Cindy Tells Me.
