Reminded of Ben Harper and G-Love and wonder if this was an early influence. Some riffs also gave a Jagged Little Pill feel.
Pleasantly surprised as not a fan but enjoyed this classic 60s sound.
Great album but repetitive
Could tell it was from College Drop out era and Kanye influence heavy throughout.
Bliss
Really enjoyed the different styles of music especially enjoyed songs that tell a story.
Appreciate the chance to listen to something I'd never choose to and admire the talent that went into creating this. However after ten minutes I realised that it's just call and response songs and each track had nothing new to offer. The 36 minutes of this album really dragged.
Great fun
Listened to this while on a snow walk and disappeared into Cohen's story telling. Hauntingly beautiful.
Good album before he went nuts
Beautiful songs, shame full album not on Spotify.
Tried to enjoy this. There was some great riffs and melodies but the singing was just too much. It's ok in short doses but not a whole album.
Definitely found it's feet half way through. Reminded me of the soft grunge bands in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Great album, hauntingly beautiful
A few surprises

Never understood the Oasis hype, this is a decent album but nothing special.

This album got better as is settled after a few songs.
Not my thing but it did make me go back to Army of Me which is ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hear so many they're blending into one.
