Van Halen
5/5
Surprised by the number of songs that I knew on this album. Fun guitar solos throughout. Drums support nicely.
Pearl Jam
3/5
Some absolute classics, but not a needle mover for me.
Kate Bush
3/5
Was previously only familiar with Running Up That Hill, so nice to listen to the entire album. I think the vocals are playful and unique. Feel the album misses a guitar and drums at times.
Fela Kuti
3/5
I am honestly not sure what to make of this. Thoroughly enjoy the beat, the brass, the sax, but it is not something I will find myself coming back to.
Hugh Masekela
3/5
Elvis Costello
3/5
Yes
3/5
Reminds me of Styx? Some fun, playful instrumental things happening.
Elton John
4/5
An absolute classic. Few are as accomplished as Elton, and he hits some of his highest notes here.
Lou Reed
4/5
My initial thought before realizing who Lou Reed actually was, was that this sounded quite a bit like Cake. Fun one.

Fleetwood Mac
5/5
I was ten or eleven years old, reading a book I have long forgotten, and I vividly remember that it mentioned Fleetwood Mac playing in the background. At that time, I had no idea who Fleetwood Mac was. For all I knew, the band was fictional and made up for the purpose of the story.
I'm not sure when I realized that Fleetwood Mac was an actual band, but I can remember pouring through their discography shortly after college and falling in love. Rumors is one of the few albums I consider perfect.

I’m showing my youth a bit here, but my first exposure to Ozzy came from my father (who claimed to hate reality TV) having The Osbournes. I found it entertaining as hell and it was only later I learned he was a musician.

Ice Cube
3/5
I saw Ice Cube at a music festival in 2016(?). It was pouring down rain and I was drunk off cheap alcohol. I had limited exposure to his music at that point, and I can't say that I spent much time afterwards diving in. It's not really relevant to this review, but I'm sharing it anyway.

A home run of a debut album. Unbelievable five song run to start. The back half is a little weaker and keeps it from being a five. Still maintain that Sam's Town is the best Killers album.
