Possibly the worst 'classic' album of all time

First time listening. Upon the very first song, I can see why this album has detractors; I am among the detractors. This is prog rock with zero teeth. Floundering hard rock songs with a handful of folky interludes. Although not terribly offensive, I don't think I found a single song to stand out in the bunch. I'm close to filing this under SteelyDanCore. Not a fan.
Can't stand this flute - I was once saw this band in a Prague concert 20 years ago or so, only knowing a few songs - it all sounded the same.
Most of the first track is good, but, like the album, there's too much uninteresting prog nonsense interrupting it.
Meh. I didn't turn it off but I really didn't like it.
No place for the flute

Fucking shithouse. How do people listen to this shit. Sounds like the creators of South Park are singing this. Genuine torture. Just take a moment to listen to the lyrics here. Fucking hell. 1 star but would give less if I could.
