I got excited seeing the poor reviews, because what’s “too much” for most people often hits my sweet spot. As a fan of noise rock and experimental music, They Were Wrong, So We Drowned is a fantastic find.

Cee Lo Green
4/5
Don't get why this gets such bad reviews. Beats and grooves are fire, arrangements are dope. Nice gem

Scissor Sisters
1/5
I hated this more than I would have expected to. I only knew them through I don't feel like dancing which is a certified bop. The songs on this album though are the opposite

Bob Dylan
2/5
Mr. Tambourine Man is great but the rest leaves me cold. The rambling folk-rock delivery and loose songwriting just don’t hit the depth or dynamics I look for. I do not want to revisit this.
Hugh Masekela
5/5
Wow, I had not heard of Hugh Masekela before and boy have I been missing out. This is instantly going on my rotation list
Big Brother & The Holding Company
2/5
Teenage me, a 15-year-old classic rock and blues fan, would’ve loved this. But now it mostly reminds me why I’ve grown distant from that era. The endless guitar solos feel obligatory rather than expressive, and there are a lot of them. It’s fine for what it is, but I won’t be coming back to it.
U2
3/5
U2 has always been an average rock band outside their hits, and War doesn’t change that. The songs are fine but start to feel repetitive the longer it goes on.
Led Zeppelin
5/5
Absolute classic. Nothing but good about this album.
David Bowie
4/5
Hunky Dory is a really well-crafted album. It loses a bit of momentum toward the end, otherwise it would easily be a 5★.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
I've never really liked the stones and this album did not change my mind about them.
White Denim
4/5
Nice Discovery to me. I'm hearing loads of inspiration for later KGATLW music which is a good thing.
Public Enemy
2/5
Never was able to get into classic hiphop and this album did not change my mind whatsoever.
Drive-By Truckers
1/5
Of all the mediocre albums I have ever heard in my life this might be the most mediocre of them all.
I have listened to the first 7 songs and haven't heard anything that excites me at all. I will not finish this listen because it bores me to no end.
Björk
4/5
I’ve liked Vulnicura since its release, though I rarely return to it because I don’t follow Björk closely. Revisiting it was fun. The odd thing is, I enjoy it a lot but can’t exactly say why.
The funny part about this album is, is that I like it a lot but I can't put my finger on it why though.
Paul McCartney and Wings
3/5
Band on the Run starts strong with “Band on the Run” and “Jet,” but the rest of the album feels average for McCartney. Could have been a 4★, but lands at 3★.
The Louvin Brothers
1/5
I absolutely can not stand this. I've really tried but I can't.
The Flying Burrito Brothers
1/5
If this experience has confirmed one thing for me it is that I don't give with country at all
Daft Punk
4/5
Not the best Daft Punk album but really good nonetheless
Stevie Wonder
3/5
I did enjoy this album. Nothing really stuck out to me however.
Country Joe & The Fish
3/5
Just an average classic rock album
Aimee Mann
2/5
It's just whatever
Pink Floyd
5/5
As a musician who has been depressed and had an overprotective mother and witnessed drug abuse first hand; this album is very relatable. Regardless it's an absolute classic
Randy Newman
4/5
Has this guy ever done anything else than the toy story sound? Oh well, I really like the toy story sound anyway
Peter Gabriel
3/5
Decent. Starts of really strong but loses momentum quickly.
The Police
4/5
The police are something else. It's incredible how they put out two banger albums as their first two.
Sonic Youth
4/5
I once tried to get into Sonic youth when I was 15 or 16 years old. I clearly wasn't ready then and I might not be ready 100% yet now either.
I grew to like bands like swans, squid, black midi, BC,NR, etc....
And it's clear to me now where they got the inspiration for the parlando style, abrasive dissonance, repetitiveness and quite literally everything that makes their style so great. I just feel like the sound wasn't really developed enough yet when sonic youth did it to be really blown away by it.
Solid album nonetheless
George Harrison
3/5
Some good songs but the album could have been cut in half
The Sabres Of Paradise
2/5
Lots of interesting ideas but never executed really well. Songs overstay their welcome just like the album.
Snoop Dogg
2/5
I get why this was a hit album on release. Compared to other classic albums the songwriting is more thoughtful. There are more melodies, song parts. I would still not return to this album for great songwriting though.
2Pac
2/5
Listening to Me Against the World felt like the same song on repeat for an hour. The lyrics might be compelling, but the music doesn’t grab me at all.
Love
4/5
This has everything to be really great but misses some je ne sais quoi
Johnny Cash
5/5
Amazingly I love this album. I never really vibe with country but this somehow clicks.
Sebadoh
2/5
I'm having a hard time rating this.
A Tribe Called Quest
3/5
Really nice vibe for some songs. I like this more than the other classic hip hop I've tried before
Frankie Goes To Hollywood
4/5
Shockingly great. The first few songs my thought process was really funny as well:
Hey this sounds like the band that does that song 'relax'. Relax comes on. Oh, it is them. War starts playing and I think that song that goes war huh, what is it good for... Would fit so well in this vibe. Then the chant starts halfway through.... Oh damn. So I knew more of this band then I knew. Great discovery overall.
Soundgarden
3/5
If this was somewhat shorter I would have probably rated it higher. Get bored of it after 4-5 songs
Eric Clapton
1/5
Separate art from the artist but I can't
Prince
2/5
Lucky I did not die from boredom
Alice In Chains
3/5
16 years ago I probably would have rated this a 5.
George Michael
3/5
Starts off really strong but falls flat really fast. Are classic albums just albums with some hits on it? Because except for the hits this does not mean much as an album.
Cowboy Junkies
4/5
I did not expect to like this so much. Almost a 5
Super Furry Animals
5/5
Exactly the kind of hidden gem I was hoping to discover through this list
Coldplay
4/5
The first half of this album is amazing. The second half is kind of a snooze fest. If the second half would've been a tad stronger this would have been a solid 5.
Pixies
5/5
I only knew where is my mind? And damn did not expect what I heard. Love it. Amazing.
5/5
I got excited seeing the poor reviews, because what’s “too much” for most people often hits my sweet spot. As a fan of noise rock and experimental music, They Were Wrong, So We Drowned is a fantastic find.
Aerosmith
3/5
Fine, I guess. Nothing special. Would have scored lower without the hit songs.
Shuggie Otis
3/5
Happy house could have been a thundercat song. The rest was kind of forgettable to be fair.
Ray Charles
2/5
I totally understand the relevance of this album. But this kind of jazz is just not for me.
The Libertines
1/5
The most fun I've ever had with a terrible album
Johnny Cash
5/5
I liked at San Quentin better but this also great
Metallica
5/5
One of the best thrash metal albums of all time. It paved a path for prog metal.
Afrika Bambaataa
2/5
Incredibly dated
Metallica
5/5
Nostalgia kicks in hard with Metallica so I can not do anything else but give this a 5 star rating
Thin Lizzy
2/5
I only knew Thin Lizzy through the boys are back in town and even that song was totally underwhelming on this album.
If you have to select the best performance from several shows AND still have to do overdubs you probably are not good enough a live band to release a live album.
This lacks energy in every way, the songs are mediocre as well. Not horrible but will not play again.
Björk
5/5
Yet another really strong Björk album
Stephen Stills
1/5
The blues rock part had some interesting ideas but everything was really mis. Than the album got to country rock and was the embodiment of everything I hate about it. Than some other genres passed but I was already done with the album. Did not finish it.
Jimmy Smith
1/5
I was excited to try another jazz gem, but Back at the Chicken Shack is painfully boring. Twelve-bar blues repeated endlessly with some soloing on top. Not a single memorable lick or melody to be heard.
Jack White
3/5
Nothing special really
The Avalanches
4/5
I really only knew The Avalanches through Wildflower. This is a great precursor but their sophomore album is better.
Kate Bush
5/5
So ahead of her time
Billy Bragg
1/5
Oof, was that second cd really necessary? I only could wish for it to end
Yes
5/5
Ah yes, yes!
Dion
1/5
So cheesey and not in a good way
Buddy Holly & The Crickets
1/5
Chirping Crickets didn’t grab me at all. Simple, repetitive, and not engaging musically.
The Rolling Stones
2/5
Meh
Iggy Pop
3/5
Fun album. Especially the hits.
Dusty Springfield
2/5
Not terrible but this album has no business being on this list
Bert Jansch
3/5
Very nice guitar playing but not my cup of tea
Fugazi
2/5
I got really seeing a post-hardcore album on the list. Finally something that was not your run to the mill rock, only for it to be a huge let down. Not unlistenable but will not revisit.
Madonna
4/5
I only knew Madonna through her hits (that's a lot of songs) but had never listened to a full album of hers before. My respect for her has only grown. This album is so well written that I immediately heard this was the album with frozen on it. It's not just a collection of songs, but really an album.
If the strength of the start would last for the whole album this would have been a 5 star but it's gonna be a 4 star.
Massive Attack
2/5
This does not get me excited.
Silver Jews
2/5
I forgot to rate this. A few days later and I can't even remember what it sounded like
The Smiths
2/5
Eh, I get why people dislike this.
The Clash
2/5
Sounds like a punk album
The La's
4/5
This album got me confused. It sounds like the who but as a 90s band and then there she goes sticks out (great song btw) and then some more 90s the who
Ice Cube
4/5
Actually way better than I had expected
TV On The Radio
4/5
Finally something original on this list. It could have been somewhat more abrasive but overall very nice
Rush
5/5
If not for geddy lee, rush would've probably been my favorite classic prog band. Still a five star though.
Dexys Midnight Runners
2/5
Some fun songs. Some boring ones. Only reinforces my theory for you to have best selling record back in the you only needed one really good song.
Michael Kiwanuka
5/5
I've known and loved this album since it's release
Beach House
2/5
Was refreshing for the first two songs and then got boring really quickly
Caetano Veloso
3/5
I would not actively seek this out, nor will I again but was refreshing to listen to.
Mercury Rev
5/5
I enjoyed this more than expected. Also crazy that I did not know this before. It seems like a twist on the wall with influences of a musical. I'm torn between a 4 and a 5 but I feel like this album will grow into a personal favorite so I'm going with a 5 star review for future reference
Jethro Tull
3/5
I never really got this album. I'm a huge prog rock/metal fan so I should like this nu I don't.
The Velvet Underground
3/5
For an album as famous as it is, it's not as exciting as I had expected
Isaac Hayes
5/5
Yessss!
Scissor Sisters
1/5
I hated this more than I would have expected to. I only knew them through I don't feel like dancing which is a certified bop. The songs on this album though are the opposite
The Band
3/5
Blues
Lou Reed
5/5
Going in I did not expect much. I'm really not familiar with Lou Reed's work. Also not to familiar with VU except for the two albums I listened to on this list from which I liked one and disliked the other.
This is straight up a masterpiece. This is going on my regular rotation
Simply Red
4/5
Don't know why this is hated so much. There are some duds there but fun album nonetheless.
The Hives
2/5
Boring
Willie Nelson
1/5
Absolutely not for me
Lorde
4/5
At first I was wondering why this would be included but this album grew stronger the longer it went on
Bob Marley & The Wailers
2/5
Reggae... And that's a genre I don't like
John Lennon
2/5
1001 albums to avoid. This does nothing else than destroying the legacy John has built with the Beatles. Imagine is the only good song on this album.
David Bowie
5/5
I've loved this album since release. What a farewell note.
Hookworms
4/5
This was a cool discovery. Seems a bit inspired by KGATLW, tame Impala and the like, while at some times sounding like a source of inspiration for butterfly 3000 by KGATLW
The Chemical Brothers
3/5
Starts of really great but drags on too long
Michael Jackson
4/5
I'm not a big fan of disco and funk but somehow MJ makes it work for me.
The album starts of really stronger but the last songs don't cut it to be honest. If they would have been as good as the first few this would have been a 5 star rating
The Undertones
4/5
I do not really like punk. Neither do I really like new wave. The undertones make both work though. It gets a little samey after a while though.
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
1/5
Oof
David Bowie
3/5
Incredibly mid. Don't get why people say this is Bowie's best album. The second side somewhat redeems the first one. That's why it's got three stars from me
Bob Dylan
2/5
Bob Dylan is just not for me apparently
Deep Purple
4/5
Space truckin, highway star, when a blind man cries and last but not least smoke on the water are such good songs. The other ones are just ok. So nearly 5 stars.
Robert Wyatt
5/5
What a beautiful piece of art.
Leonard Cohen
2/5
As someone else on here reviewed: as a music first listener, it's hard to get into Cohen's work. This album is no exception.
Boards of Canada
3/5
Not bad but not great either.
Yes
2/5
My opinion on yes did not change. Technically this should be a band I adore but just can't get into them.
Carole King
3/5
A little too samey. Great voice and often times great songs
Air
3/5
This is going on my regular listening and will check more by air.
Blondie
3/5
Some really fun songs on there
Christina Aguilera
3/5
Ok, too long and too poppy. She has a really strong voice and there are some really good songs on there though.
Led Zeppelin
5/5
How could this be anything else than a 5 star
Pet Shop Boys
2/5
This will not go on my regular listening
Kanye West
3/5
This album is not the best Kanye output to me. Don't get why it is lauded so much
Janis Joplin
3/5
Very middle of the road
Wire
3/5
Ok, will not listen again.
DJ Shadow
3/5
When this album hits it's right on point but when it misses it's several miles off. Right down the middle it is.
N.W.A.
3/5
Liked this more than most old school hiphop
808 State
3/5
A three I guess. This one is hard to rate.
Gene Clark
1/5
Everything I hate about country
Dr. Dre
1/5
Everything I do not like about hiphop
Brian Eno
4/5
Took a few listens but really like this one
2/5
I had high hopes for this because of the good reviews and because psych rock from this era is really good overall but this just did not click at all
Wilco
3/5
Album started really strong musically but didn't pull it through to the other songs. Will have to listen to it a few more times to really appreciate it I guess.
Anthrax
2/5
The worst band of the big 4. I'd put testament in their place instead. Musically very sound but the vocals suck ass. Other contemporaries embrace the fact they can't sing but anthrax does the opposite. They try to add some catchy singable lines but it just does not work out at all.
Musically a 4
Vocally a 1
That leaves me hanging between a 2 and a 3. Because I will not revisit it gets a 2
OutKast
2/5
Some songs too long drawn out. A mishmash of some soulful/poppy songs while on the other hand there's some bad hiphop/rap songs.
Peter Tosh
3/5
Had more fun with this than I expected to. Might be because I was tired in an overly heated car so that came near feeling stoned.
The Doors
5/5
This can't be anything else than a 5 star rating
Solomon Burke
2/5
Not my kind of music, sadly. I reckon the guy sings great and probably is a great songwriter and musician but I just don't like it. That's why it's not a one
Bruce Springsteen
4/5
He is the boss after all. Never realized how bad he sung though
ZZ Top
3/5
Three great songs; the others are all just weak clones. The same drums, riffs, licks, fills, etc. It gets kind of boring after a while
The Pharcyde
1/5
If anything this journey is learning me I really don't like hip hop
Eagles
3/5
Flies very high when it does but sinks equally as low when it doesn't fly high.
The Blue Nile
5/5
What a surprise! It's exactly these deep cuts I started this for. Never heard of this album. Yet again it seems like bad reviews seem to result in me liking an album
Beatles
5/5
The Beatles don't deserve anything less than a 6 yet I can only give a 5
Jeff Buckley
5/5
What a classic!
Radiohead
5/5
One of the greatest albums of all time
Frank Zappa
5/5
I love zappa
Morrissey
3/5
Morrissey is a name I see flying by occasionally but I was not familiar with the work of the smiths, nor Morrissey except for hang the dj (thanks black mirror) the guy's voice is really distinct and I recognized it immediately. I was pleasantly surprised but not blown away. The first few opening tracks were really pleasant but it all sounded the same after a while. A solid 3.
T. Rex
2/5
There's so many artists I like citing T. rex as a big influence. I don't get it though. It's mostly bland and without direction.
Buffalo Springfield
1/5
Oof
Jorge Ben Jor
4/5
Was pleasantly surprised by this from the first note on. I've rated my previous tropicalia album as a three star. This one gets four but there's been a decade of evolution between the two albums
Ali Farka Touré
4/5
Very nice change of pace
David Bowie
5/5
Everything Bowie does is almost always certified gold
Sarah Vaughan
4/5
I'm more of a modern jazz Guy but this is exceptionally well done
Christine and the Queens
3/5
Very nice sounds. Makes 80s sound better and less tacky than actual 80s music. Album took too long though. Second disc was not necessary and I did not want to revisit all the songs again.
Led Zeppelin
5/5
I do not need to listen to this album to know how to rate it. But I did anyway because I love it so much.
Suede
3/5
Not too sure about this. It's not a masterpiece as some say and I definitely get why it's overlooked. It needed more direction and focus to grow towards a masterpiece
AC/DC
3/5
The album would've been way better but also basically the same if it was only highway to hell repeated throughout
Emerson, Lake & Palmer
3/5
Very cool although the original piece is just way better
Ministry
2/5
I really have to be in the mood for industrial metal. Even on a good day Rammstein gets me bored pretty quickly. And this is basically just Rammstein but rough around the edges and less catchy.
Jane Weaver
3/5
It seems like psychedelic rock is always lauded on release post 2000s. Yet not many stand the test of time. Nothing of interest here.
Creedence Clearwater Revival
3/5
It's CCC. It's a fun lil album. Nothing too special but I'm glad it's the right length.
David Holmes
2/5
Better than expected but still kind of dull
Beastie Boys
3/5
I respect the Beastie boys but I always feel that listening to a whole album by them is just too much. Same with this album..some nice and fun ideas but it is not blowing me away
Marvin Gaye
2/5
Not my kind of jam
Sugar
2/5
Run to the mill 90s alternative music
Cat Stevens
2/5
Big ole snoozefest
5/5
What a pleasant surprise. I was only familiar with you really got me and was expecting more of the same.
Instead I was greeted by some beatles-esque yes-infused proto-prog masterpiece.
Stevie Wonder
4/5
Great stuff. Especially as a Jacob Collier fan it's fun to see where his inspiration came from
The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion
1/5
It's like trout mask replica but less thoughtful
Mike Ladd
3/5
I expected worse but was not blown away
Elvis Presley
2/5
Not my favourite style of Elvis
Skunk Anansie
4/5
Pleasant surprise this one. I was vaguely aware of skunk anansie but never knew what they were really up to. Will check more of them later
Badly Drawn Boy
2/5
Was pleasantly surprised by the first track but has nothing more to offer. The longer it went on, the less my appreciation became
Leonard Cohen
2/5
I just don't get the appeal of Leonard Cohen. Just a guy talking over some bland music
5/5
Depeche Mode
2/5
Boring
The Who
4/5
As a young drummer I looked up so much to Keith Moon. As a somewhat older, more mature, drummer I realize he overplays a lot. Great album nonetheless
Nick Drake
3/5
Liked it more than expected but will probably not revisit it
Burning Spear
2/5
Reggae is such a genre that never clicked for me. The previous reggae album on this list was not bad though and gave me high hopes for this one. It's just plain boring though.
The Beta Band
2/5
Didn't know what to expect. After finishing it still really don't know what to think of it. The songs seem unpolished and unfinished. Overall very bland.
The Rolling Stones
3/5
I've never understood the whole Beatles vs Stones debate. The rolling stones don't come even close to the Beatles. This is supposedly their best work and starts off kinda strong but it's always more of the same and nothing exciting ever happens
Guns N' Roses
5/5
Oooh yeah, throwback to me as a teenager. This gets a high rating on nostalgia alone
The Soft Boys
4/5
Surprisingly good album
The Style Council
2/5
Don't know what to make of this. Some things I like. Some things are straight up garbage and there is absolutely no continuity
Keith Jarrett
5/5
Amazing, wonderful, beautiful. None of these words really do justice
Lucinda Williams
1/5
Why oh why is country rock a thing? Unimaginative songs with twangy guitar
Marty Robbins
2/5
From country rock to a full on country album.... Well... At least this isn't as bad ad country rock. But if anything, this list has really established my disliking for country. I give this a 2 for the storytelling and big iron
Moby Grape
2/5
Why oh why is this on this list? And why are people giving it such high ratings? This is so run to the mill
Björk
4/5
Not Björk's best or most focused work but this must have been so refreshing when it hit the industry.
The Thrills
2/5
Good background music but there is nothing special to be found here
The Verve
3/5
All the songs are so samey
R.E.M.
4/5
Liked this way more than expected
Prince
3/5
This album would be so great if it was all like the first two songs. But the rest of the album sounds so cheesy and outdated it almost made me even give a lesser rating
Miriam Makeba
3/5
I liked it but I think there is better world music out there
Miles Davis
3/5
As someone into jazz I had heard so much about this album but never got around to it. As much as I love jam sessions; I just can't get into jam records. If this was the same but less of a jam session and more structured, I would've liked it a lot more
Rage Against The Machine
3/5
It's good. Really good. But at the same time it's also very repetitive and boring. Some really great songs, some nice breathers but also lots of filler that sound exactly the same. Needed more diverse ideas to warrant a higher rating
Throwing Muses
4/5
Nice hidden gem for me to discover through this list. Great opener, great performance. Every song kept me on my toes and had some kind of surprise. Be it the silly horns in fear or the parody of country in America. Great collection of songs but could've been more focused
Kings of Leon
3/5
Iron Maiden
5/5
Throwback to 16 year old me spinning this on and on and on and on. I can't give this anything else than a 5
Ramones
2/5
Thank god these songs don't last any longer
Cee Lo Green
4/5
Don't get why this gets such bad reviews. Beats and grooves are fire, arrangements are dope. Nice gem
Creedence Clearwater Revival
4/5
I know this is already a short album but to be perfect it should've been even shorter. Or more varied because towards the end everything just starts sounding the same.
Black Sabbath
4/5
Better than most sabbath albums.
Aretha Franklin
3/5
Nice easy listening
Todd Rundgren
3/5
Some nice ones there but way too long
Common
2/5
The first track was really fun but did not leave much of an impression afterwards
Soft Machine
4/5
It's weird to have never heard of this being a prog guy. It might be because I'm more of a prog metal than a prog rock fan but damn this is good. Lots of inspiration was taken from in the court of the crimson king but that only makes it better.
Talk Talk
4/5
Artpop mixed with jazz, inspired by Debussy and Bartok got me setting very high expectations for this. Although very good my expectations weren't met. I think I need a few more listens to really uncover this but I'll be looking into more of talk talk's work.
Nine Inch Nails
4/5
Lots of hits and misses. But the misses are really far of target.
Arcade Fire
4/5
Nice album
The Stone Roses
3/5
Overhyped. Some good songs there though
The Cult
2/5
Off all the mediocre rock albums this is the most mediocre of all
Beatles
5/5
It's crazy that the "not their best" album is still of this quality
Peter Frampton
3/5
I've never been a fan of live albums. Even of bands I dearly know and love, let alone for artists I barely know. It gets raised by a star thanks to the hits.
Tortoise
5/5
These are exactly the kind of albums I was hoping to discover through this list
Dead Kennedys
5/5
I never expected to rate a punk album with 5 stars. This is amazing. Not just mindless 4 chords aggression but fun riffs and curve balls all around
Eminem
5/5
absolute classic album
Anita Baker
2/5
Ok album. Nothing groundbreaking
CHIC
4/5
Funky fun
The Velvet Underground
4/5
The older I get the more I start appreciating this album
Bill Callahan
5/5
I was a bit worried seeing the country label paired with the low overall rating but this caught me by surprise. It had nothing to do with country. Some doom folk maybe? And the low overall rating on albums I really like is nothing new. This is going onto my heavy rotation; what a beautiful piece of art
Beth Orton
2/5
Another day another bland album from this list
Cocteau Twins
2/5
I think I just don't understand
Jimi Hendrix
5/5
Very very good
Throbbing Gristle
2/5
When I was in the deep end emotionally and musically this was the kind of music I was drawn to. Times are not the same anymore. I still like some noise from time to time but this does not have enough substance for me.
Best song is dead on arrival.
Not giving it one star because I did not hate it 100%
The Byrds
3/5
A bit too bland to keep my attention but some fun stuff
Bob Dylan
3/5
Better than what I expected but still too long for its own sake
The Killers
4/5
Amazing album that starts off as strong an album can ever start. Sadly it can't keep the tempo up
The Sonics
2/5
The witch was a very nice listen. Afterwards it just became rock n roll with a very abrasive sound. I can see how they were pioneers but musically there was absolutely no innovation to be found after the first track.
Dr. Octagon
3/5
I liked this better than most classic hiphop but still very annoying at some points.
The Doors
5/5
Don't even need to listen to this one to rate it
Le Tigre
2/5
Meh
Motörhead
3/5
Minus one for being a live album
Dusty Springfield
2/5
Starting to grow tired of this list tbh
Donald Fagen
2/5
Cornier and sweeter than corn syrup
Doves
4/5
The moment I was growing tired of this list, it throws me this curve ball. Nice album but does not blow me away. It will go on my regular rotation though
Pere Ubu
3/5
Some interesting ideas
The Isley Brothers
3/5
Fun album
Animal Collective
3/5
I don't know if I really love it yet but this has been a nice discovery.
R.E.M.
4/5
Good album
The Rolling Stones
3/5
It's official: I do not like the rolling stones
Culture Club
3/5
Fun album that goes on for way too long
The Chemical Brothers
3/5
Good electronic album but not enough excitement for me
Deep Purple
5/5
Nothing short of amazing
Madness
4/5
Yes, I liked this very much
Tracy Chapman
3/5
Not my style but I liked it nonetheless
Muddy Waters
3/5
Blues.... It's all so samey... Might be because I'm Illiterate in the genre. Nice that it picks up the pace towards the end
4/5
I liked this more than expected
Buzzcocks
2/5
Yeah this is the kind of punk my dislike for punk comes from
Michael Jackson
4/5
King of pop for a reason
Red Hot Chili Peppers
4/5
Very good album. Starts very strong but overstays it's welcome just a bit
5/5
One of the best albums ever and this is not an exaggeration. Really weirded out by the guy from 88 that had never heard a Beatles song before
Sleater-Kinney
2/5
Not for me
Kendrick Lamar
5/5
Best hip hop album of the decade
1/5
No, just no
Elvis Presley
2/5
Did not expect that I would not like this
Os Mutantes
5/5
The gems I'm looking for from this list
Lauryn Hill
2/5
Mediocre RnB record
Jungle Brothers
3/5
Not too bad for a classic hip hop album but still pretty repetitive over time
The Zombies
5/5
How is it possible I never heard about this album or even band before.
And then at the last song it hit me: oh this song... I know.
The Human League
5/5
So far out of my comfort zone but damn I loved this
Norah Jones
3/5
Really nice and relaxing. Sung wonderfully well.
But so damn middle of the road and boring as hell.
The Strokes
5/5
It's funny I know Julian Casablancas more by his work in The Voidz than The Strokes. The latter is a somewhat poppier and less daring version of the former. Still great though, there's something je ne sais quoi about his work...
Best UK indie album to come out of America
Pearl Jam
4/5
What a great debut album
David Bowie
4/5
David Bowie is always great
Pulp
5/5
I must be one of the many people who only knows pulp from common people.
This album took me by surprise and I damn myself for sleeping on this. This is great and feel like they've been a big influence on MGMT which is a great thing
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
4/5
The remix of heads will roll is infinitely better than the original. Does not make this album any leds fun though
Van Morrison
3/5
Fun songs but not my cup of tea. Minus one because it's a live album
Miles Davis
4/5
Very cool indeed
LCD Soundsystem
4/5
I really liked LCD Soundsytem's debut album. Then for some reason they never appeared on my radar again. I'm glad this list did what it had to do
The Dandy Warhols
4/5
Neo psychedelica that stood the test of time? I'm in
Isaac Hayes
4/5
I liked this way more than I would've ever expected. Nice cooking!
The xx
3/5
I did not like this on release but really warmed up to it by now. Still very middle of the road since it's such a drag
Spiritualized
5/5
Is it possible to rate an album or artist you never heard of before with a 5? I guess... I think I'm in love
Goldie
1/5
God damn, I like DNB but this album.... It's just a bad
The Doors
5/5
I bought this album in a time when internet was not readily available to me. The reason to buy it was because I had heard good things about the doors. I hated this because I was not ready for it. After revisiting it a couple years later I fell in love with the album and the doors never understanding how I hated it before. 5/5
Belle & Sebastian
2/5
Kind of bland and boring
John Cale
3/5
This album gets redeemed by it's second half. Pacing was just completely wrong. Some of these more upbeat songs should've been at the start rather than only at the end
New Order
4/5
Surprisingly good. The last song was absolutely horrendous.
Willie Nelson
1/5
This is a big fat no no for me. Soulful songs brought in the most soulless way. It does not help that this is the kind of music my dad put on when I was younger. I hated it back then and still hate it now. Did not even finish the album
Sly & The Family Stone
2/5
I get why people like this but I don't
The Only Ones
2/5
I don't know why but I really did not like this
The Smiths
2/5
Was not a fan of the previous the smiths album this list threw at me. Not a fan of this one either
Foo Fighters
3/5
They could have chosen any other foo fighters album and it would've gotten a higher rating.
It amazes me how much this already sounds like modern Foo Fighters albums though. You would think Grohl would still be searching for his sound on this album. But he already found it and never changed it.
Kate Bush
5/5
Second album of Kate Bush on this list that I absolutely love. I think this list is converting me into a Kate Bush fan.
Scott Walker
5/5
Incredible I had never even heard of this artist before. On paper this seems like an album I would not like but it had all the right things at the right moments and was incredibly sung as well
Simon & Garfunkel
4/5
Another household name in music history I know nearly nothing about and I wonder how this could be. Absolutely great album. Without the sleeper songs this would've been the perfect score
Hole
1/5
I never liked gru ge before and proba ly never will
Michael Jackson
4/5
Amazing hits, good songs and some filler. Without those filler songs this would've been the perfect score
The Rolling Stones
3/5
This is the fourth stones album I got. I think this is the best one. Still don't like them though
Crosby, Stills & Nash
2/5
Sigh....
The Electric Prunes
4/5
Tonally a bit all over the place but a bunch of fun songs
Emmylou Harris
1/5
Be gone
Led Zeppelin
4/5
It's no led zep 2 or 4 and I haven't listened to this one like I have those. Still I remember all songs as if I've listened to this album every other day
Fun Lovin' Criminals
2/5
Don't think it's fun. I'm not lovin it (badabababaaa) and they don't have look like criminals either.
Wild Beasts
2/5
Loved the music but as many others think the vocals were yerrible
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3/5
Liked this more than expected but lasted too long and did not leave a lasting impression after all
Minutemen
3/5
Not much to say about this one
Steely Dan
2/5
People keep telling me I need to like Steely Dan, but Aja only reinforces why I don’t. It’s a bland mix of elements that should work but somehow don’t. Polished to the point of boredom, and occasionally so cheesy it’s hard to stomach.
Louis Prima
4/5
Just s generally fun album. I do not have any playlist for 50s music. Do not know where to add this.
Fela Kuti
3/5
Fun album I did not know about but it would've been better witnessing this live
Prince
4/5
Lots of bangers mixed with some sleepers
AC/DC
4/5
Iconic
Rufus Wainwright
4/5
Rufus Wainwright. An artist I've seen passing by quite some time but never took the time for. Well, seems like I was wrong. Absolutely loved this and this is going on my regular listens for sure. I checked his latest album as well but that was not nearly as captivating as this.
The Roots
1/5
Skipped through it.
Bauhaus
3/5
Not bad but not good either
2/5
First song made me wonder why I don't listen to PJ Harvey more. All songs after made me realize why
Can
4/5
I get people that say this is too experimental. I also don't think this is can's best album. Really good though
Tito Puente
4/5
Another great Album from the fifties. It all starts sounding a bit the same after a while though
Gorillaz
4/5
Great songs, tad too long to be perfect
Bob Dylan
3/5
Might be the best Dylan album I've heard but it all gets too samey after a while and did not keep me hooked throughout
Def Leppard
2/5
Cheesy and bland. Don't like this type of 80s rock
The Bees
3/5
Not a bad album but does not belong on this list at all
Beck
4/5
Not bad. A contender for five stars but needs more listens. Also think the first two songs are a really weak start for this.
Stephen Stills
2/5
Meh
Joni Mitchell
5/5
I did not expect to like this at all. Thinking of rating this as a 5, it's amazing.
Funkadelic
4/5
Again an album I liked way more than expected. Heard some Hendrix and Zappa influences. Really nice.
Pentangle
4/5
Proggy psych folk? Count me in!
Coldplay
4/5
Don't understand why this is so hated
Peter Gabriel
4/5
Guess I'm a Peter Gabriel fan
Jimi Hendrix
4/5
Great album, not perfect in my opinion though.
The Black Keys
2/5
The black keys should not be on this list. And if they were they should be on this list with El Camino
Genesis
4/5
I'm a prog head. I can not not score this album well. Love that you can clearly hear how much influence this album has had on new generations to come.
Sam Cooke
2/5
-1 for being a live album, -1 for the band apparently not knowing the cues, -1 for so ga sounding almost completely the same
Green Day
4/5
Some great songs but also lots of filler, so not a perfect score.
Heaven 17
2/5
This has aged very poorly and even became annoying past a certain point
Queen Latifah
1/5
Nope
Blur
3/5
This album is so weird to me. On the one hand song 2 is the best song by far on this album. On the other hand, song 2 sticks out like a sore thumb.
Dr. John
3/5
Nice discovery but not mind blowing
Echo And The Bunnymen
2/5
Can't put how I feel to words
The Who
5/5
Amazing album
Richard Hawley
2/5
I'm torn about this. The opening arrangement is really beautiful, the singing isn't too shabby, the ocean is a wonderful song. But all the rest is just so.... Ughhhhh! Not going to play this again so 2/5
Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
4/5
Amazing musicianship, just a tad repetitive
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
2/5
Did not like it
Frank Sinatra
3/5
Amazing voice but all the so ga are kind of the same
2/5
Oof
Portishead
2/5
Did not leave a lasting impression
The Incredible String Band
3/5
I'm going to do what no one has ever done before. I get this album is love it or hate it but I'll rate it right down the middle anyway. There's some really refreshing and good ideas here; at the same time some of the ideas are just a tad over the top. At some points the execution is flawless; at some points it is a bit sloppy.
The Jesus And Mary Chain
2/5
Another love it or hate it. I understand the overdrive is nauseating for a lot of people. The songs ar really mid. Didn't hate it but will not listen to it again.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse
2/5
I used to listen to this a lot when I was younger. Don't know why
Fleet Foxes
4/5
I was only familiar with their 2017 release. Why I haven't delved deeper in their discog; god knows why but I'll surely do it now
Jean-Michel Jarre
4/5
That was really good
Death In Vegas
2/5
Not my jam
Lou Reed
4/5
Not the biggest fan of Lou. Liked this one better than expected
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
3/5
Liked this better than expected but still very much background music to me
The Jam
2/5
Médiocre stuff
Gang Starr
2/5
Better than most hiphop albums on this list. Which does not mean much
Johnny Cash
2/5
First song was great. The rest were sleepers.
Small Faces
2/5
Why is this album on this list?
Little Simz
3/5
Ok, I've seen her pass by a lot in my surroundings. It's not bad but not something I will put on much more
Elvis Presley
2/5
Except for the hits I know and love this isn't all that great
Skepta
3/5
Not too bad, not too great either
Mekons
2/5
On paper this is an album for me. In reality; not so much
Morrissey
1/5
No I'm not
Paul Simon
4/5
One of those albums you listen to and wonder why you don't listen to it more often.
During gumboots I was thinking: wow he really nailed the African feel for this song not realizing it's played by an actual African band
Pet Shop Boys
1/5
The first song describes this album oerfectly
Blur
4/5
So blur has been getting surprisingly (for me) positive reviews from me. I'd say I would give this a five star rating if it felt more like an album.
The Smashing Pumpkins
4/5
Exactly what you expect from a smashing pumpkins album
T. Rex
2/5
Why is T.Rex so influencial?
Shivkumar Sharma
4/5
Do as the top comment says: listen to the original on YouTube and not the rerecording on Spotify.
MC Solaar
4/5
I thought I'd hate this but damn so good and groovy. Still too repetitive in some songs to warrant a perfect score
Van Morrison
2/5
Boring slog
The Police
3/5
Not bad but lots of whiny songs
Nas
1/5
Another confirmation I really do not like hiphop if this is peak hiphop...
Sex Pistols
4/5
A-Ma-Zing
Really what I needed on a low energy day
Leonard Cohen
1/5
Horrible. Really don't get the hype for Cohen

Mj Cole
1/5
Boring boring boring
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
4/5
I've never really looked into this band. That was a mistake

80s pop done well
Cocteau Twins

Spacemen 3
3/5
A fun jam. Didn't go beyond disc 1 though
ABBA
4/5
Yup this one is great
Fleetwood Mac
4/5
I liked this way more than expected. Some songs were really surprising. This is going on my regular playlist
Dire Straits
5/5
I don't think there's an album in the world that throws banger after banger like this one in the first half and then drops of so bad like this one. However, this still deserves a perfect score.
LCD Soundsystem
4/5
Not the best LCD Soundsystem but great anyway
Beatles
5/5
I see Beatles, I give perfect score
Barry Adamson
2/5
Liked the start but the longer it went on the more annoyed I got until checking how long was left to go.

1/5
Blergh

All seemed like one song. Not a bad song though.
The Band
2/5
Boring
Ananda Shankar
2/5
I like the sitar, do not like the western psych influence
Funkadelic
1/5
I'm just not in to this
Taylor Swift
2/5
My first thought when seeing this album: what's this doing on this list? My thoughts after listening: what's this doing this on this list?
Amy Winehouse
5/5
Amazing; such a true and heartfelt album.
Haircut 100
5/5
On paper I should not like this but damn, I've listened to this 3 times back to back
Television
3/5
The longer it went on the more o started to like it which is extraordinary because most of the time it's the opposite
N.E.R.D

Very nice
Radiohead
5/5
Yorke is a genius and you can't convince me otherwise
The White Stripes
4/5

The 13th Floor Elevators
3/5
Not bad
Fats Domino
3/5
Nothing too special
Air
3/5
Started of nice but ultimately nothing more than some pretentious background music. The two songs with the vocalist prove why they're mostly instrumental music.
Billie Holiday
2/5
Shes obviously a very good singer. I just find it really boring
Lightning Bolt
5/5
Of course the noise rock album has a super low score and I love it
Nirvana
3/5
Iconic but never been really into it. Also -1 for being a live-album
A Tribe Called Quest
3/5
It's one of the better classic hip-hop albums but this genre will never get a really high score from me
Faith No More
4/5
Faith no more is an acquired taste but damn mike Patton is one of the greatest vocalists out there
The Everly Brothers
2/5
Just a collection of songs
Elvis Costello
4/5
Pleasantly surprised by the his one
Dinosaur Jr.
2/5
Okay-ish
Morrissey
2/5
It's official: I don't like Morrissey
The Associates
4/5
If the album was a bit more condensed and focused this would've been a 5
Marilyn Manson
3/5
Crazy how this can be so original and so run to the mill at the same time
Fishbone
2/5
Doesn't get me half as excited as it was intended to. It's also all over the place, and not in a good way
Queens of the Stone Age
3/5
Weird choice for a QOTSA album
Can
4/5
Iconic
Happy Mondays
2/5
My god, what is this doing on this list?

This second album by Robert Wyatt made me a fan
Suzanne Vega
2/5
Not my kind of jam

My least favourite Beatles album and probably the only one I would not give a perfect score
LTJ Bukem
2/5
Even in the days I was into drum and bass, I would not have liked this
Joni Mitchell
4/5
Liked this way more than expected
Astor Piazzolla
5/5
As a classically trained percussionist I'm very familiar with Burton and Piazzolla's collaboration. I've even played some of this myself. I did not need to listen to this to score it but did anyway, what an amazing piece of art this is.
I'm kind of sad to see the abundance of one stars on this but it's to be expected on something so niche as this.
Neneh Cherry
2/5
I don't think I'm finishing this one
The Pogues
4/5
Varied enough to bump this from a 3 to a 4
Pink Floyd
5/5
Straight 5
Dwight Yoakam
1/5
No no no just no. This exactly the reason I've never like country
Fugees
2/5
Without the hit songs this would've been a one
Destiny's Child
4/5
Thought I would hate this but than this album threw banger after banger at me (this might be nostalgia speaking here). The second half is not nearly as strong though
Rufus Wainwright
4/5
Want one took me by surprise. This one doubled down. Lots of muse/Radiohead sounds in this.
The Kinks
3/5
Not bad. Not great either.
Sonic Youth
4/5
While I've never really been a fan of Sonic Youth, this one finally clicked for me. Guess I'll need to delve a bit deeper into their discog sometime.
Germs
2/5
I've not been too hard on punk albums on this list. This one does not make the cut for me though. I also fucked up by having it in repeat. On my second go through I didn't even realise we had started over yet and I started to think "well, this awfully long for a punk album"
Björk
4/5
Björk Truly is something else
Big Star
2/5
Boooooooooooriiiiiiiing
Beck
3/5
Okay-ish
Charles Mingus
4/5
Hard to digest but glad I've listened to it. Will listen to it some more and this will probably grow on me
3/5
I liked this when I was a teen. It's rating is bumped up because of nostalgia but damn, this is one bug cringefest
The Shamen
2/5
The new key words feature is quite handy for my review: long, dated, repetitive, boring
The Afghan Whigs
4/5
I thought this band would have had something to do with smashing pumpkins but apparently there is no connection. I've even thought for the longest time that debonair was a pumpkins song
Fairport Convention
3/5
Okay I guess, was not blown away
Bob Dylan
2/5
Blowing in the wind is good
Joni Mitchell
2/5

2/5
Wow did not like this at all
Joy Division
2/5
Makes me depressed listening to it
Liz Phair
2/5
Bunch of background music

2/5
Nothing extraordinary
Massive Attack
4/5
Iconic album but just not perfect to me
Richard Thompson
4/5
This one really surprised me
Kanye West
5/5
Fuck Kanye as a person. No respect to this fascist PoS.
But as an artist he is just so great. I generally don't like hip-hop but love almost everything he produces
The Stranglers
3/5
I get that it's different than most of its peer albums but overall this was kinda boring
Napalm Death
3/5
I like the first part of the album that's more death metal like way more than the second half where they start to hone in on the grindcore.
2/5
Good few first songs. Very middling afterwards. -1 for being a live album
50 Cent
4/5
Saved by Eminem and the hit songs
Lambchop
1/5
Turned it off because it was so boring
Thundercat
5/5
Surprised to see this on the list but gives me hope about whoever is adding new entries to this list. This album is not by an iconic artist or does not have a flashy hit song but damn it's so good.
Billy Joel
4/5
The exact reason I started this list: filling in blanks in my music knowledge. I know some billy Joel but never listened a full album. I'm really glad I discovered this one. Some more time with his album will probably bump it up to a 5 star rating.
Ghostface Killah
3/5
This was a pleasant surprise. Everything about this screamed 1 star rating to me: the name of the album, the album art, the genre,...
However I quiet enjoyed this. If it wasn't this long I would've probably given it a 4 star rating.
Arrested Development
3/5
Felt like a b-boy. Don't want to feel like a b-boy for so long
Joe Ely
1/5
Skimmed through this album and did not vibe with anything
Siouxsie And The Banshees
3/5
Not bad but not great either
Lana Del Rey

It's hard to get excited by this. It's not bad, it's artful but so damn boring
G. Love & Special Sauce
2/5
Nothing special
Supergrass
3/5
I feel alright about this album
Talking Heads
3/5
Maybe some more time with this album would make it grow on me. Qu'est ce que c'est?
Portishead
4/5
Mesmerising
Various Artists
3/5
It's a Christmas album
Elis Regina
4/5
Great discovery of w mess of an entry
Frank Black
5/5
Best album I never knew. Opening track must've been a big inspiration for everything Geordie Greep has done. I'm sold.
Franz Ferdinand
4/5
Yeah this is an indie classic
Aerosmith
3/5
Just a bland rock album
The Yardbirds
3/5
Way too long and mediocre
Tears For Fears
4/5
Fun pop album that has better stand the test of time than other albums of the 80s
I totally agree with the guy who complains about this list. So many bland albums with nothing special on them that could've been replaced with very interesting and cutting edge albums. That would've made the list a lot harder to digest for the average listener.
Calexico
3/5
Need more listens to really get it
Steve Winwood
4/5
A little dated but had lots of fun with this
Koffi Olomide
3/5
Reading about the guy completely killed the vibe on this.
John Martyn
2/5
Another bland middle of the road record. Some tracks are extremely boring so I subtracted 1 star
Manic Street Preachers
3/5
Not bad. Will revisit but probably will not make it to my heavy rotation
Curtis Mayfield
2/5
Just can't bring myself to like this
Talking Heads
3/5
Maybe I've been too harsh on talking heads before. Dragged on a bit too long for 4 stars
Metallica
5/5
I could've rated this without listening, but why would I skip such a banger anyway
Wilco
2/5
Not bad but just not my jam
Cream
2/5
Clapton is so overrated
Pavement
2/5
Why is this album on this list?
The Mothers Of Invention
4/5
Psychedelic rock at its peak
Arcade Fire
3/5
Nothing too bad, but also nothing stands out except for neighborhood #3
Stevie Wonder
3/5
This album is at its best when it's upbeat. Sadly those moments are few and far between.
John Prine
1/5
Yeah, no
Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
4/5
This album is all over the place. In a good way. Compared to it's contemporaries it stays fresh throughout.
The Stevie Wonder song is something though.... Creepy.
Kate Bush
4/5
Kate Bush at it again. We went through my top artist list yesterday and my girlfriend was amazed that Kate Bush was up there. But every release I've listened so far was fresh and fun.
The KLF
2/5
This was not absolutely terrible. I've read you had to be there to get it and I think that rings true for this album. I wasn't there so I don't fully get it. Will not go onto my rotation.
Butthole Surfers
4/5
Color me surprised when I opened this and saw butthole surfers was on the list. At some point in my life I really was into anything experimental, noise or avant-garde. So obviously I was already familiar with this. As expected this album is not liked by most people, but if you give it enough time you will come to like it.
Emmylou Harris
1/5
When I saw this was a country album I was prepared to give this a 1. After the first song and reading the big blob of context in the second or third review I was a bit invested and thought this might have been a turning point for my relationship with country. However after a few songs I was just bored to death, and there's something about country singing that irks me the wrong way. I can't put my finger on it but all country singers do it.
The Coral
3/5
Don't get the "hate" in the top reviews. There are way worse albums on this list. It's not amazing either.
Einstürzende Neubauten
3/5
I get why people hate it. I don't, but I don't love it either.
Jacques Brel
4/5
What a wonderful album. If I would understand it better this probably would've been even better.
Neil Young
2/5
This album was almost interesting
Steely Dan
2/5
My second attempt at getting into Steely Dan. The musicianship is flawless, and the production is pristine but the songs feel like they’re stuck in neutral. It’s technically impressive yet completely devoid of energy. How something this well-played can sound this dull is kind of fascinating in itself.
Fred Neil
1/5
Not going to through this. My time is too valuable
Brian Eno
3/5
Lots of very interesting ideas, but not a lot of musical cohesion.
Brian Eno
4/5
This one was better than the Eno album of yesterday.
Bebel Gilberto
3/5
Not bad, but a bit too bland for my taste
The Birthday Party
4/5
I get it and I get that most people don't
Count Basie & His Orchestra
4/5
What an opener or a song. It set my expectations a bit too high for this album though. If it had struck a better balance between these frenetic and softer songs it would've been a 5 star album.
The Notorious B.I.G.
1/5
Another confirmation I'm not into classic hiphop
The Specials
4/5
Don't understand all the hate this album is receiving, was a fun collection of songs that made my day more specials
Can not hear the possible trip hop influence though
Gene Clark
2/5
When this album started playing on expected this to be one of those country like albums I couldn't sit through in its entirety. However I was able to do it m, did not enjoy it though. Better than Neil Young
Nitin Sawhney
3/5
Don't understand all the hate this is getting..really nice vibes all around
The Last Shadow Puppets
4/5
This was a nice ride. Got that classic Alex Turner sound with a nice twist here and there
The Prodigy
4/5
Already very familiar with this album. Not a rave guy at all, but man this album is an absolute blast front to back.
Bob Marley & The Wailers
2/5
Reggae: another genre like country I never really understood. This album didn't help me understand it further.
Nico
4/5
Of course this album gets hated on...
Paul Revere & The Raiders
3/5
Perfectly unoffending album. I guess it might a bit heavier than it's contemporaries, but I totally understand the middling rating on this. Right in the middle for me as well.
David Crosby
3/5
The highest rating a Crosby, Stills, Nash or Young album has received from me is a 2. Me giving this a 3 is a huge honour for this album. It's not terrible.
Steely Dan
4/5
Another day, another Steely Dan album. I didn’t like Pretzel Logic or Aja, so I was ready to hate this one too but it clicked. It’s got a surprisingly proggy vibe. Maybe it’s time to revisit the others.
Talvin Singh
3/5
Love the concept, don't love the execution.
OutKast
2/5
Stankonia, their supposed best release, did not get me excited. So I wasn't too happy to see a double album by outkast. Did not make it through. +1 star for the hits
Dexys Midnight Runners
3/5
Fun.
Pink Floyd
5/5
Don't need to listen to this one to score it, but of course I did anyway.
New Order
3/5
It was a fun album but not really memorable
Black Flag
2/5
I'm not into punk and not into hardcore. So, not for me.
Joanna Newsom
3/5
Sadly, I had to listen to this on YT music instead of on Spotify, which meant I had ads every few songs. This could have rated way higher because the album definitely seems something I could vibe with but was ripped out of it every few songs.
