I tried but couldn't get through the album. Might be a great rap album but that doesn't mean much to me.

There’s a stack of potential on this but most of it is ruined by his potty mouthed ramblings

Het n-woord? Nee, het f-woord. Is het een generatieding? Ik schrik op elke keer als er schuttingtaal wordt gebruikt. En dat is hier euhm, heel vaak. Verder weer een plaat vol geouwehoer, en wederom haak ik na vijf nummers doodvermoeid af. Ik hoor wel dat men voor dit genre wat originele muzikale wegen inslaat (pianogetingel?!), maar dat helpt allemaal niet.

Urgh; can only hope it's deliberately as disjointed as possible as otherwise this would be a worthless waste of space only designed to apply to those who think it's edgy. No musical value or interesting lyrics to be seen here, just mumbling nonsense. Hate to be all modern hip-hop is trash, but by god this is trash. 1 if not lower

Okay, I really tried, but this is not my type of music at all. This album is full of political and social commentary, but I couldn't concentrate on the lyrics at all. This record has one song, that somehow strayed away from the overall style of the album and fell much closer to a type of music I like. "The Blacker the Berry" is a great song, and the more straightforward style of beat and rap made it much more digestible for me. But otherwise, I couldn't find anything worth praising. Probably a great album, but maybe it went far above my head.

Thought I would like it but it did nothing for me. Remove the "N" word from the album and most songs will become an instrumental.

I keep trying, but I just don’t get it. It feels like lesser The Roots, and the blend of spirituality and misogyny are too much.

uhhh... what the fuck was this? I don't understand how this is so highly rated or how his music is so popular? Feels like Mr K L is not sure what he's trying to create here. The only song I slightly like was King Kunta

Para ser Rap o por lo menos lo que minimamente entiendo como rap, es bastante musical, es decir mas que palabras dichas rapidamente, aunque tiene bastante de eso tambien. De cualquier modo no es lo mio.

Este álbum me costó bastante trabajo escucharlo. De hecho me "forcé" un poco a escucharlo dos veces, pero este estilo de hip hop definitivamente no es lo mío.

A mi parecer el único rapero con voz de pito puede ser Eminem por qué es blanquito, no puedo con la voz de este cabrón y su rapeo intenso y sin sentido. A lo mejor es un disco relevante pero no me aporta nada y no creo que debería estar en la lista

I admit that a lot of the nuance of this album is lost on me. This probably wasn't a good first album on the list. But it sounds great, the production is varied and exemplary, and the lyrics (that I got) were fantastic
