Fear Of A Black Planet
Public EnemyThis album slaps, the sampling on this is so good. The second half goes on for a little bit too long but still a great album. Fight the Power is such a great protest song and a great song to end the album.

Such a good album, great classic rock
Down to the Waterline has got to be one of the most underrated openers to an album, considering that this album has got the bands biggest hit. Still a great overall album that is as timeless as it come, with a hint of the wild west in every song
Such a good storyteller while creating vivid imagery. I had only heard one of his songs (The Partisan) which is a great song.
Very different kinda jazz that i usually listen to, but it great so far
The first Kanye album that I was exposed to, such a great album from start to finish
Not my cup of tea, felt like a long album. Not something that I'll listen to again
Can never go wrong with old boy Frank, such a great mix. Lovely opening song. Has such a soothing voice for any sort of situation
could put me to sleep, but not in a good way
I did recognize some of the songs, still a good listen
The title song sounds very nice, reminds me of something You'd hear in a restaurant. It sounds like a CCR album. Very easy listening
I don't understand the appeal of this kind of music, it's very much just loud noises competing for who can be the loudest. Will definitely not be listening to this again any time soon. Will be my first 1 star
Has that very distinct 90s hard rock/grunge sound, still enjoyed this album.
Very different sounding to what I'm used to, definitely 1950s inspired soul and jazz in there. The bass just hits different.
Only knew of Epic from this album, enjoying it so far. The real thing is a good song. Would have to give this album another listen
Don't really enjoy this kind of music. Not my cup of tea. I don't understand how this is on the list.
Was interduces to this album from my dad, I do really enjoy this album. Mr. Brightside is so good, such a great stadium anthem song. All These Things That I've Done is definitely the second-best song on the album.
I didn't think it was that bad, will have to listen to their first album. Second half of the record did drag out a bit
Such a good album to groove to, the bass just slaps so hard
Very easy listening, nice to have on in the background. Sounds like the Eagles
Already knew of Hungry like the wolf, Save a Prayer and Rio, such a great example of 80's new wave. Last chance on the Stairway is great song too.
It's a nice album to have on in the background, something that you'd be cooking to. Final song on the album is great.
The very first Jazz album I listened too and brought on vinyl. Such a great collection of exceptional artists.
Such a great hip-hop album, this albums is just filled with bangers. The album cover and logo of Wu-Tang is just iconic.
This is a good album, really enjoyed it
Love Van Morrison voices sounds quite haunting. Lovely short album and very much a 60s record
Such a great dream pop album, can see where so many artists got their inspiration from.
17 songs of just loud noise??? How was this album selected in this list is beyond me.
This album slaps, the sampling on this is so good. The second half goes on for a little bit too long but still a great album. Fight the Power is such a great protest song and a great song to end the album.
Was the first Beatles album I was interduced too, such a great collection of songs with little hints of there future work sprinkled in there
Nothing outstanding with this record, it's just meh. Nothing stands out, very stock standard basic rock
An album about a lover that once was, it's a very calming album that i enjoyed listening too. Franks music always has a feeling that I can't explain, but it's a good feeling.
Only really knew Sex on Fire and Use somebody. This stinks, like it isn't great. I couldn't get behind the vocals, they annoyed me. I don't remember a single thing about this album
Album was too long, was just shit
Such a great album, just a shame they haven't spoken to each other in over 15 years
Such a great album, and considering he brought out the rise and fall of Ziggy stardust 6 months later is insane. Need to listen to more David Bowie
I enjoyed this album, has hints of different genres while still being New wave.
Could it sound more 80s? It is quite groovy tho. Does get quite repetitive after a while.
Quite a weird album, sounds a bit like Jim Morrison. Just without the interesting lyrics
Great reggae album, great to kick back and do sweet fuck all.
Recently listened to Pure heroine, such a good debut album. This is such a great follow up to that album. Glad to be a Kiwi with artists like this
Is quite groovy, does sound like typical pop music tho.
Was pretty average, some songs went on for too long
That Nile Rogers guitar is so iconic, immediately recognized it in the first song. Such a great album to groove to.
What can I say about this album that isn't already said, its a damn classic. One of the first soul albums I brought on record. Holds a special place in my heart.
Shit, just pure shit. No structure in there sound at all
Enjoying this so far, not a bad album. Does feel a bit long
Very soothing album to listen to, could honestly put me to sleep. But in a good way
Looked like shit, sounded like shit. I don't understand how some of these albums get on this list
Such a good album, bit all over the place but overall a good album
No, it sounds like something a nepo baby makes and expects everyone to like. It's shit, I don't understand how this was added to the list.
Sounds like an album that was brought out for a coming of age film in the 80s, great sounding album with a great cover.
Was one of the first Nirvana album I brought on vinyl, a great album with many memorable songs and a banging cover.
I've liked alot of the stuff that Alex turner has brought out that hasn't been associated with the Arctic Monkeys, this is no exception. Has that late 60s early 70s sound which I really like.
Just kind of sounds like a whole lot of nothing, nothing memorable about this album at all. He slso sounds like he is trying to copy someone but I can't put a name to them.
It's a shame his music isn't on Spotify anymore. Glad I'm able to enjoy his music else where. Kinda gives me wild west vibes which is really calming
Nice album to listen to when driving, makes you feel about of the wild west
Good punk album, ushered a new Era of punk rock which I can appreciate.
Kinda sounds a bit too much like the Beatles, it sounds ok. Not something I'll come back too.
Sounds quite nice, the songs all sound the same after about the 3 or 4 song. Got very repetitive after awhile.
It does sound very 90s. It feels wrong listening to this sober. Not something that I'll be listening to again
Very entry level rock, nothing too outstanding or groundbreaking. Just very vanilla.
Such a different album that I really enjoyed, had very through provoking lyrics and the music was great.
The songs on this album are very nice, just a very calming album that can be put on in the background while cooking.
First song is really quite nice, I do like the album cover with the double exposure and the sun shining through his eyes.
Very simple samples that go fucken hard, lyrics have deep meanings behind them. Love this kind of hip hop with old school sampling.
Child in time is such a timeless classic, a great rock anthem. This album in general is underrated.
Such a calming album, such a great duo. Will need to listen to more of there music in the future. Favorite songs: Scarborough Fair / Canticle, Homeward Bound and 7 O'clock News / Silent Night
This fucken sucks, only good thing about this band is the name.
I've been meaning to listen to album for awhile. Glad I finally get to listen to it cause it's a brilliant album, great acoustic music and quite sad (which I like)
First half was ok, the helter skelter cover wasn't great. Second half is meh, very forgettable.
This is great, I love some relaxing Jazz that makes me feel apart of high society. Such a nice kick back album listen to.
No real substance to this album so far, the most popular song (Cranes in the sky) makes me want to fall asleep. The interludes kind of stink. The beats are very one note and as basic as they come. This album felt like it took an eternity to come to an end. Won't be revisiting this any time soon.
Like the Eletronica sound this album has so far, some of the songs do go for awhile and can feel like they repeat themselves a lot. The second half of the album has been more enjoyable.
It's trying to sound like other bands but is failing massive. This album is just very boring, not much is being said in the lyrics. Just a dead album in general.
I really have enjoyed this album, soothing to listen to
This is a really good album, has hints of country rock and classic rock which i love. Have been meaning to listen to more R.E.M so this is a good starting point.
Have been meaning to listen to this album for awhile, I'm really enjoying this album so far. Love the Psychedelic sound of the late 60s early 70s so this is right up my alley.
Kinda sounds like it's trying to imitate another band but in a really shit way. Wont be revisiting this band
I've really enjoyed this album, some great classic rock that you can just kick back to have a whiskey. La Grange outshines the whole album but there are some gems here.
Sounds like an album you'd slow dance with your lover in an empty ball room with a single spotlight on.
I've found that The Rolling Stones are more of a singles band rather than an album band. That being said this album isn't too bad, everything gets overshadowed by Sympathy for the Devil.
Old school hip-hop just fucken slaps, the samples and beats just go so hard. I can understand how impactful this album was.
No, I would rather swim through shit then listen to this shit again
Love myself some David Bowie and this album is no exception. Such a great cover with even better music. Considering that he had released Ziggy Stardust jus previously, it's a great follow up
Really enjoyed this album, B-Side was better than A-Side
First listen and it's a great album. Very 1960s to its core.
Such a good album to gym too, with a class cover art. Just a great album in general. One of the first albums I brought on vinyl. Such a great politically charged album.
I feel as if I'm not listening to this in the correct mood. It needs to be listened to at night with headphones, blindfold and some rain to set the mood. It's definitely different but I like it. This is why I love 1001 albums.
Sounds all the same, not much difference between the songs on this album. Jc hates faggots was just an awful song, so unnecessary to use all those slurs.
It kinda feels like you need to listen to this in an altered state of mind. It's still good tho
Such a soothing album to listen to while doing any sort of activity. Really enjoy this kind of music, will have to give them more of a listen.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this album so far. Definitely not what I'd usually listen to, but this is why I really enjoy this generator. Update: Lovely album from start to finish. Had a few underrated bangers on there too.
Such a great start to the album. Love their Debut album have been meaning to listen to more of the Talking Heads. Once in a Lifetime is an absolutely banger. Will update once I've finished the album. Update: Great album, great from start to finish. Will need listen to more of their music.
This is the bad side of psychedelic rock. The skits kinda stink of shit, like 'Hot Poop.' This album is for a very acquired taste. Not for me
Such a good album will need to listen to it again under different circumstances. It sounds as if I'm in a dream that I can't get out of but in a good way.
Such a long album, not really my cup of tea.
Quite a soothing album, sounds like an early 60s country album. Really nice to listen to. Only issue is that it feels like a long album, even though it's only 35 minutes long.
Sex: the album. Followed soon after with a pregnant wife.
Just very generic Britpop music, nothing too special about this
Some of the songs just went on for too long, but some of them are great. This album is a bit of a mixed bag in my opinion, not a classic in my book.
Very great 90s hip hop album, the sampling is just amazing
This is a great start to the album, will update once it's done Update: really great album from start to finish, really enjoy it
A very 80s album, very synth heavy but still an enjoyable listen.
Funeral for a friend / Love lies blessing is such a good opening song, I will admit that this album just drags on for a bit too long. But still good none the less. The 3 songs after the opening are really good, some of his best work
Not really my style at all, sound is all over the place. The songs feels as if they drag on for too long.
I'm really enjoying this album, it's got a great blend of different genres. Album kinda loses me at the end but still a solid entire.
Sounds like early grunge, a bit of punk and a bit of rock too. Great album that kinda sums up the 90s. Loud and doesn't giving a fuck.
What a great metal album, opening track really sets the tone for the rest for the album
Had only heard of Black Hole Sun before listening to this album. Can confirm that its a great album,
Just a bland album, I personally won't be listening to this again.
Really good album, have a lot of fun listening to this. The bass is what makes it so good. Everything just complements each other really well.
Great debut album. Live forever and supersonic are the best songs on the album, Just a solid album all round.
What a lovely and calm album to listen to, would have loved to have heard this live.
Old school hip hop and there sampling. It's just so good. I don't expect anything less from A Tribe Called Quest, the flow and songs on this album are so good. Can I Kick It? is one of the best hip hop songs of the 90s, even of the genre of hip hop.
What a great album, so many memorable songs. Just a great album to get up and groove to.
I've never really understand the hype of Adele. I really didn't like this album on release and don't like it to this day. It's not my kind of music.
Just seems appropriate to have a whiskey and watch the sunset on the deck. Really enjoyed this album. Really easy to relax to this.
Despair sounds like something from Twin Peaks, I feel that I need to be in a certain mood and time to listen to this probably. Quiet Life is definitely the best song.
I feel as if you need to be high to listened to this album. Still a great album and will have to listen to this again under different circumstances.
It just sounds all the same, only good songs on this album would be Gin and Juice and Who am I (What's my name?).
Kinda drags on, but still enjoyed it
Just very groovy and a great debut album. The bass slaps.
Really joyful album, really enjoyed this.
The message carries this album, still a decent album tho
Really enjoyed this album, such great beats to just relax too.
Kinda feel like I need to listen to this whilst on something. Not really my jam at all tbh.
It kinda reminds me of Tame Impala. But without the heavy psychedelic sound
A great acoustic album by such an acclaimed artist. Really enjoyed every song on this album. Father and Son is the best song on the album by a long shot.
As Kanye West famously said "I made that bitch famous", just super basic pop music that is really shit.
This album stinks
Such a great album, have already heard a couple of these songs before but is great to hear it in one sitting.
First 2 songs were good, rest of the album sounded liked Daft Punk but shitter
One of my first Jimi albums I listen too and is definitely my favorite.
Very 90's sounding album. Very much enjoyed it
This is a modern classic from quite an enigma of the Industry.
You like jazz?
Sounds like a shitter band version of bon iver
Can't go wrong with some Stevie wonder, great sounding album from a legend of the game.
Don't like this at all, it's very pretentious with the lyrics that just don't work.
Sounds alot like David Bowie, did enjoy it alot. Very 90s sounding with the Britpop heavy
I think this album slated when it was released but it's an underrated album in a time where people wanted another Led Zeppelin 2.
Really enjoyed this album. Such great sounding music.
Personally think that Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is the best song on the album. I think as a whole, this album is very average apart from the 4 singles.
Not really my cup of tea this music, unless there's drugs involved...
Such a good debut album, really enjoyed this one.
Didn't really enjoy this too much ngl. Sounded the same from start to finish.
God this album is really 80's. Very dated for sure
Can't really get into it, I found that the first few were good, but the rest wasn't that great.
It starts well from gimme shelter but sounds very much the same afterwards. There's no real progression in the album.
Kinds sounds alittle like radiohead but acoustic, very much enjoyed this album
What can I say about this album that isn't already said. It's a damn classic album and an Un skippable album from start to finish. Just makes you want to Buggie.
Not my personal favorite but it's still a good album. But I do love the smiths, but Morrissey is a cunt.
It's just very loud noise, there first album is definitely there best and my favorite.
Just sounds like a well shitter Radiohead
This sounds like a more punker version of Joy Division. Not better tho.
It's a steely dan album without the charm of a steely dan album. Very middle of the road for me. Just feels a bit off without Walter Becker.
