Exquisite
(7/7) bold and artsy
The greatest album of all time.
Fucking generator paused it despite visiting the site daily just because I had a backlog. Now, I have lost two days in completing this thing because of it. I am not happy. Anyways, this is a banger obviously and shoutout West Valley City Utah '98
Don't think I've ever actually heard this all the way through - Blimey, they were cooking with this and they KNEW it.
First, I was not amused to have to listen to this, since I knew it and considered it overrated. That change, the second I heard the first note of breathe. It felt like someone took a very heavy weight from my shoulders. Time and Money are always my faves and in the end I felt like someone massaged my brain for 40 min and like I was high. So I guess it is correctly rated high :)
somehow i never actually listened to this before. turns out it's really fucking good actually? never would've guessed ;O3 i gotta admit i always kinda had this vague idea that it was a concept album so when we rolled it i was worried this would be long as fuck like eg. the wall. i was relieved to see it's just Normal Length. i guess it still is a concept album but it's much more abstract in its approach, and i think i like it a lot better. it feels a lot less forced, yknow? in terms of the actual sound, i enjoyed it a lot. i'm really into the dreamlike sounds that come up a few times in the first half, like around the end of "speak to me" and start of "breathe (in the air)", and the first couple minutes of "time", and of course i always enjoy the sound of old electronic instruments so i love the synth in "on the run" too. my favourite track is either "the great gig in the sky" or "us and them", with both having that like, psych rock and/or gospel kinda thing goin on? but then "money" is sandwiched in the middle and that's really good too.... idk, the competition is tough....... yeah this album's great. definitely i get why it has the kinda reputation it has now i've actually heard it. i guess all those tshirts know what the fuck is up,
Yeah yeah yeah 5 stars it's incredible of course everyone knows that. But considering how much hype I've heard about this album, I'm actually kind of let down. I enjoyed Wish You Were Here a whole lot more.
Obviously a classic
I saw what was next up and just smiled. This album is unparalleled in its legacy. Quite possibly the album I've listened to more than any other, and not always while sober if you know what I mean. Allow me to just gush for the next many paragraphs. It starts with Speak To Me, truly one of the weirder ways to start an album. It's strange and off-putting, but it's short and that's the key. A quick amuse-bouche for the impending sensory feast. And a reminder that well-defined song boundaries are just a suggestion. I fondly remember my mom or dad popping in the CD in the car and playing On The Run for us kids. Was it entertaining because it was surreal or because it was funny that it wasn't conventional music? I dunno, but I later heard it at a laser light show with my dad, and it might've been a little too much for my kid-sized brain. Then the "beat drop" in Time is just so epic. The entire album intro has basically been building up to that first time actual lyrics are sung and rock instruments are played. You can't help but get into it, and it always gives me chills. The vocals in The Great Gig In The Sky. So eerie yet beautiful. Definitely feels like the peak trippiness of the album. And once the dust settles, you get Money, one of the all time classic songs of the 70s. On the surface it sounds like the most mainstream song of the album, and that's probably why it's the most famous song off the album. But then you realize it's mostly in 7/4 time, and it has an epic saxophone solo, which is just an intro to the following guitar solo. Despite its popularity, Us And Them might be my least favorite song on the album. Still good, but just not great for some reason. Any Colour You Like just kills it with that funky, ineffable sound. I had to look it up just now and I can't even try to explain the techniques used without just quoting Wikipedia. The dawn starts to break with Brain Damage. We're almost done with the crazy ride and there's even some hysterical laughing that appears to convey the same satisfied relief of the listener. And then finally Eclipse. The perfect finish. I love how every song has its place and fits so perfectly into this full album. Even the ones that seem like filler are memorable. Put together, it truly flows perfectly and ends without going on for too long. I truly believe you only don't like The Dark Side Of The Moon because you haven't listened to it enough times. End gushing.
How is it that Gilmour can talk through his guitar, we may never know.
1001 stars
5/12/26. Listened countless times over the years, and it still holds up as a unique experience. Love how the songs fall into each other and express themselves in vastly different ways. The Great Gig in the Sky still blows my mind.
No listening required. I know this album almost note for note.
My first time really sitting down to listen to this album properly from front to back. It's a real journey in a way I think lots of albums attempt to be. The play between the instruments, the builds, the times to let instruments sit in silence for the greater view of the whole, the crash of everything coming together all worked for me. I tend to lean towards music that evokes scenes and emotions and this album did both masterfully.
No need to listen. One of the best ever.
Possibly the very first CD I ever bought. Listened to it on repeat for months. Still a classic all timer.
yes i have obviously listened to this before … i have on vinyl too
i really liked this a lot
One of my favourite albums of all
Overall, there's nothing to write about here. If anyone hasn't heard this album, they've definitely seen the iconic cover. Many consider The Dark Side of the Moon the best rock album ever made. Is there any reason for that? While Pink Floyd is considered legendary in prog, this album is far removed from the genre. The lyrics are incredibly straightforward, the performance is quite simple, even primitive in places, with the riff in "Money" standing out. All the components are simply placed in the right places, and this could have been a simply good album. If it weren't for the way it's mixed! It's no wonder audiophiles still use it to test their equipment — the sound is what makes this record so great. All the instruments sound vibrant, as do the fragments of phrases, the beating of a heart, the clink of coins, the wild laughter, the roar of an airplane... And the best rock album in history is too subjective a concept; it doesn't exist, just as there is no dark side of the Moon really (as a matter of fact it’s all dark).
Nice transitions, some parts a little 'headache-y', drop on "The Great Gig in the Sky" is amazing, also has good vocals. Samples on "Money" somehow work super well. Saxophone on Us and Them is absolutely insane. Brain Damage is just beautiful.
BANGERRRRRRRRRRRR honey blasting my earsssss absolut cinema burry me with this album
We like having this one in the house
wonderful album!!!
Relistened on vinyl in a dark room. No idea when I last listened to it in full. Hard to imagine hearing this the first time when it came out.
It’s perfect
5 - mastapiece
Everyone has heard time and money before, but actually listening to this record - I get it, it's the perfect prog record. No notes 10/10
True Masterpiece. Love every single bit of it
This album is for sure one of the greats. So many classic songs that if you picked up a best of no doubt half of these would be on there. Well put together album. Great production. However, I think "Wish you were here" may be even better? Tough call. In any case if this isn't deserving of 5 stars I don't know what is.
This album is surreal. Every track takes you to a new story. The compositions are so full of depth and details, and blend in masterfully together as a single mind-opening trip. Despite the darker themes of the songs, the music (for me) is so calming and triggers a mood of exploration at the same time. There is a wide range in the instruments and a variation in vocals, chants, and spoken word. The Dark Side Of The Moon will continue to be a huge inspiration for many music generations to come.
This album is a masterpiece. The production, the arrangement of the songs. This album is a timeless trip through the creativity of pink floyd. The only thing that doesn't fit: womens voice in the great gig in the sky is just over the top. If i could travel back in time i would go right there, Abbey Road studios and tell her to chill a bit.
Every review of this album is wrong, including this one. It's not a collection of songs. It's a single 43-minute arc — tension, release, dread, beauty, back to tension — and trying to pick it apart undoes the thing that makes it work. "Money" is a great track. "Time" is devastating. But listening to tracks is not listening to Dark Side of the Moon. I came back to it after years. It arrived differently this time — slower, heavier, more inevitable. The way it builds and breathes and collapses into itself. The heartbeat at the start and end. The cash registers. The clocks. The voices at the edges. All of it part of the same thought. Masterpiece. 5/5. That's the honest review. Everything else is just pointing at it.
Well, yes, this one is truly incredible and lives up to its reputation. I love the flowing opening chord of Breathe, the psychedelic intro of Time, the heavenly Gospel voices of The Great Gig In The Sky, the odd measures and saxophone in Money, the powerful climaxes of Us And Them, the great solos of Any Colour You Like, the melodies of Brain Damage and the conclusion in Eclipse. I love how everything fits together so perfectly, but does never get samey. No second wasted anywhere on these tracks, while the songs still take their time if it fits them. And then.... there's also On the Run, which I don't get as a track (and even less why it's placed near the beginning of the record!?) and which keeps this from being a perfect record. Still, the rest is pure magic. It's fantastic and I will probably listen to it many many times again. 4,5/5 near perfect
Legendary. One of the best studio albums in the history of music. So many experimental sounds and techniques represented here. The substance of some of the lyrics transcend through all layers of age and generations. It is fascinating that they were able to compose this at such an early age in their life experience. Nothing but full stars.
Too much to say. Too little time. So ahead of its time with production and sonic landscapes. The first album I heard of Floyd as a kid in the mid 70s. Amazing front to back.
Really easy five here. I can’t imagine not loving this album.
What can one say about Pink Floyd. They’re pretty great. I think what struck me most about this album is how they build up to these massive moments, in songs and albums overall. So when you get to Brain Damage and they talk about seeing me on the dark side of the moon, that’s huge! And All that touch, see, taste, etc on Eclipse (which I didn’t know was technically a different track) just feels huge. I just love Gilmore’s guitar as well (although not sure that was as much of the star on this one). On a side note, one of the first times I got stoney bologney I remember laying on my friends floor listening to money and feeling like every coin was dropping on my back. As I type this I realize this is probably a very cliche teenage boy experience. 4.75
This is the answer to the question, "how many drugs is the perfect amount of drugs?" 4.75/5
I think Dark Side of the Moon caught Pink Floyd at just the perfect moment. In their earlier albums they were a band keen on psychedelic experimentation, but a lot of their songs are sketches of ideas rather than fully formed compositions. After DSotM they would move on to either more theatrical and heavy-handed work (The Wall) or longer multi-part compositions that displayed impressive technical prowess but with less grounded ideas and song structures. But on Dark Side of the Moon all the parts are, for a brief 42 minutes, working perfectly in unison. Every song is terrific on its own but is also inextricable from the conceptual whole. When it's done t leaves you wanting more, yet if anything else were added, it would ruin the tight perfection of this album
This is 5* but I will caveat by saying that I think DSOTM is a little overrated. It's not as good as Wish You Were Here or Animals IMO and there are several bits that drag. It takes a while to get going with the intro, then a slow-ish track in Breathe, before On The Run which I would probably skip usually. The highs are so high though, of course. Actually perhaps not getting high is why I don't quite appreciate this album. Anyway the good bits are amazing and it's great, just not perfect for me
greatest
5/5, obviously
Love this album! Easy 5 for me. I have this on vinyl, and I think this is one of the best albums from the 1970s.
Look, I think I would be committing some sort of crime if I gave this less than a 5. Just the album cover itself is worth the points, never mind the songs.
Some classics deserve the hype. Bits of disco flourishes I could do without, and the teenage stoner/ Wizard of Oz cliches leave a slight taint (though not the band’s fault!). Those quibbles aside, it’s a record with both great “soundscapes” and tunes.
анайроникли мой топ-30 любимейших альбомов эвер
What can you really say about this iconic album? Listened to it a minimum of 3 times for this. Every track is amazing. Should have synced it with the Wizard of Oz.
If I could go back in time I’d watch Wizard of Oz with Dark Side far less than I did as a teenager. As things are, I require too much concentration to focus on the music alone and banish the images and sequencing that has been burned into my brain. Oh well, still a masterpiece. For this listen I broke out an original pressing vinyl copy I’d never actually played before. Is ‘On The Run’ underrated? The integration of electronic instruments on that track and across the board are impressive for the period.
10/10 richtig geiles Album
best of all times.
So when I was about 10, I had a paper route and liked listening to my Walkman while I delivered. I had seen the famous album art of Dark Side of The Moon enough times to peak my curiosity, so I got it. I recall trying hard to get into it, I enjoyed Money but it was too much for my 10yr old brain. I respect my younger self for giving it a go but I’ve come around to this album, it’s fantastic. Wish You Were Here is still their standout for me but this is still fantastic. 5 stars
Here’s an album that (1) I had not listened to before today and (2) definitely needed to listen to before I died! I tried to keep as open and unbiased of a mind towards it as possible. I knew this one is a cultural monument, but I didn’t want to let that sway my rating. After listening, I totally understand the hype. Each song is beautiful, unique, and flows together so well such that the album is much greater than the sum of its parts (although each part is pretty great as well) Favorites: Time, Money, Us and Them, Brain Damage, Eclipse
For me this is an all time classic album, epic, poetic, broad in thematic scope and ambition. Playful, devastating beauty mixed with existential dread. One of those albums you can sit and listen to as if you were reading a book or watching a film. Many other great albums in their discography but this one is special for sure.
Having grown up on the dark side of the moon, I love this classic
المعروووف لا يعرف
This is #day628 of my #1001albumsyoumusthearbeforeyoudie challenge, and… what is there to say about this stone-cold classic that hasn't already been said? I guess I'll share a memory instead. A couple of years back, when I worked at a local record store here in Lviv, my wife and her mom once came by, and I showed them around the store's basement. One room was an exhibition space, with turntables and gramophones, ranging from Thomas Edison's phonograph, tracing the evolution of recorded sound; the other was a listening room, a dimly lit space with a huge collection of records and a vintage, tank-like setup. Among the records was, of course, The Dark Side Of The Moon. I put it on, I think it was "Time" that I was showcasing. The way it sounded… felt otherworldly, almost like hearing all the clocks in the world at once. Pink Floyd were playing for the three of us alone that day. This is a 5 out of 5. Looking forward to #day629.
Probablemente mi álbum favorito de todos los tiempos, no hay canción mala y si pudiera le daría 6 estrellas
Expérience totale de a à z. Immersion dans un monde. Un peu de tension
This needs no introduction. It’s a timeless classic that hits differently in different eras of life. The 50th anniversary remaster in Dolby Atmos breathes fresh life into it. I think I went ahead and listened three times. So damn good.
6 stars. This is probably my favourite album of all time, so it's almost a shame to have it so early. You could argue that there is a touch of filler in On the Run and Any Colour You Like, but it doesn't bother me. If anything, it aids the flow. An other worldly album. £30 well spent on Clarie Torry! Time is the greatest song of all time.
From the very first second you just know that this is a masterpiece. The composition, the build up, Gilmours voice, the perfect weirdness and of course the production is flawless.
One of my favorites🤙🫶🏻
This was a relisten for me. I haven't listened to this album in it’s totality in over 15 years. When we got to Us and Them... It was like a time capsule for my life. I started reminiscing about being a teenager again.
goat
1. us and them 2. great gig in the sky 3. brain damage hm: time
Fabuleux! Comme toujours même après 100 écoutes!
Arguably the greatest rock album of all time, nothing more can be said
Was alright
An all time great listening experience.
Literally nothing can be added here. There are a handful of universal 5* albums on the list.
10/10
I mean, duh
Classic
The only one so far that actually must be heard before you die
C’mon. This album is GOATed for a reason or 100. I listened again today even though I heard it a million times as a stoned 15-year-old. And you know what? I heard even more experimentation and forward-looking musical elements (electronic in 1973?!) than I appreciated way back when. It still sounds peerless. The definition of a 5.
Complete album experience. There are stand out hits, but listening top to bottom is a great adventure.
There's nothing more to say about this masterpiece. A must listen for every one.
this is already one of my faviorites of all time obv 5/5
10/10!!! One of the best albums of all time - they don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
What more is there to say that hasn't been said a million times before? This album rules from start to finish. Quintessential rock.
Is any other rating an option? I mean it is a bit pretentious in parts but we'll forgive it......
Everybody had a copy of this album when I was young, because it's so good!
Dark side is the wall’s antithesis, it rejects bloat and narrative shoehorning in favour of a tight, direct and purposeful tracklist of a prog all timers
An easy 5 and for good reason. There are definitely other albums I enjoy listening to more than this but I don’t know if there is an album I think is more impressive in its creativity and execution and still is widely enjoyed by all kinds of people. This album will stand the test of time.
really enjoyable journey
Saying that this is the best album out there isn’t even an opinion, it’s a fact
Masterpiece
What can I say about this perfect record that hasn't been said already.
I like ‘Wish You Were Here’ and ‘the Wall’ better, but this album is still a 5.
I love this album. It’s actually in frequent rotation along with Wish You Were Here. I love this period of Floyd. It helps that my dad also loved this period of Floyd as did my husband’s parents. What you hear as a kid affects you. This album had a big effect on my future musical inclinations, and when we rediscovered it, well, it was magic. So it has to be 5 stars. It’s in the category of desert island 5 star albums. I don’t just appreciate it, I listen to it a lot and would be sad if I couldn’t hear it again.
i cant give it lower than 5 stars. hate roger waters but damn does he make good art
The Dark Side of the Moon is the first album that made me realize that an album can be a full cohesive concept and not just a collection of songs. I'd listened to albums before of course especially growing up with The Beatles, but this one was the first that was the most compelling to me. This album just completely blew my mind the first time I listened to it, and for a period of time, it was all I listened to. It was entirely different from anything I'd listened to before, and I completely fell in love with it. It is this magnificent expression of life and death, from its everyday dread to its existential divinity. It is a cosmic experience, and its influence and its beauty can not be overstated. A perfect album from beginning to end.
I like the more atmospheric bits of this a lot more than I like songs like "Time" or "Money", but it's still a pretty great album. Pink Floyd has never really been my thing outside of this, but finding an old copy of this at the secondhand record store just felt so right, and that's the only way I listen to it these days. Perfect for when you want to imagine yourself floating out in space.
one of the greatest albums!
Fuck yes. I kinda needed this today. I love Pink Floyd, and this is not my favorite record of theirs (although it's not far off from Wish You Were Here). But there is a lot of nostalgia wrapped up in this record for me, and I would think that it's pretty hard to argue that this is something of a landmark achievement. Really, this is one of the easiest 5-star ratings to dole out. 10/10
Probably the best rock album of all time. Nothing more to say.
Essential. 10/10
From start to finish, on of the best albums ever. It’s genre crossing and only gets better with time. No pun intended.
It has been a while since I listened to this album. It was excellent.
Is real good. i heard part of everywhere so felt a Lil off ,but due to my stupidity can't blame em
love pink floyd the best
Mi favorito en el momento
GOAT
11 April 2026. 20pm. 9,5/10
What more is there to say that hasn't been said over and over? This album is a classic and for good reason.
One of the easier 5s I will ever give. An operatic space odyssey of epic proportions. It’s personally offensive how much the song “Time” is currently my life. I remember listening to it ten years ago and it affecting me, and ten years later all that’s changed is that the “ten years” line is literally accurate now. Anyway, this album so effectively describes the human experience I doubt anyone could listen to it without relating to it intensely. I had a good day yesterday, though. The album is just telling me to live as if I have a purpose, and I will try my best to obey.
!!!
Me gustó mucho!!!!
Inefable.
The best album ever recorded. What a treat.
Fuck hvor er "Us and Them" bare et kunstværk altså 🙄
Ikke hørt i denne omgang, men hørt mange gange før. Ingen tvivl.
*93 Soundtrack til at være hjemme hos måtter i Nørre Vilstrup. Jeg ville ønske, at jeg kunne give det mindre, bare for at være lidt på tværs, men det er jo unægtelig forrygende godt. Første back-to-back 5-stjerners anmeldelse.
Please fix the Spotify link, or only listen to "Disc 1" as the album
It’s not even my favorite Pink Floyd album but it’s still 5 stars.
I tried to put this album into words but it leaves me speechless every time. I'm convinced that any hate written about this album is just written to be controversial. This album belongs on the list.
Yeah shocker, the prog enjoyer enjoys prog. While I'd argue that The Wall is a better album, DSotM is obviously fantastic.
A Classic. One of the best in history. Besides the timing perfect with the Artemis II capsule flying over the Dark Side of the moon.
L: 8 M: 10 F: 10 O: 10
I’d give it six if I could
5/5 nada que agregar
happy monday, its all downhill from here. 10/10 no notes
Don't really even need to comment on this one. It's only my 3rd favorite by PF but still a 5 star.
pink floyd idk
PERFECTION
I tried listening to this for the first time several years ago and wasn’t all that impressed. While I can get annoyed with people who dismiss or down on the Beatles, I do understand the impulse to resist whatever past generations have slobbered over, because I sort of gave up near the end, decided this album was overrated, and left it alone. I was wrong. This is damn good and certainly a statement recording. I don’t know if I quite think of it as some eternal masterpiece, but it deserves its flowers as an all-time great. Will return.
Been waiting for a Pink Floyd album to be generated. Every audiophile's dream and the pinnacle of psychedelic rock. Top notch lyricism from Waters paired with the guitar from Gilmour. One of my absolute all time favorites
Ooh def a perfect/easy album to get you into rock, progressive rock, and concept albums. I remember when I was in highschool and getting this album on cd and listening with a stereo I got for christmas. It was an amazing feeling just laying on my bed (no drugs or anything mind you) and being completely transported. Is this their best album? I'd argue as I've gotten older and have matured both in Pink Floyd taste and general music taste no, is it a perfect album? Honestly, yeah I think so. Is it overyhyped? Maybe a little. All that being said this feels like it takes you through a general journey of human life and death in the broadest strokes. With themes of conflict, death, "time" and "Money) as well. So many legends / myths surrounding this recording like the 1 take "great gig in the sky" solo. Just an iconic work.
To me, this album is an indisputable all-timer. For the vast majority of tracks I've listened to, the context of the original album doesn't really matter; I find it just as rewarding or enjoyable to listen to the tracks in isolation or on a playlist as part of the album. But, that's not the case for any track on The Dark Side of the Moon: the whole truly is greater than the sum of its parts. That was clearly the intention of Pink Floyd; hence, the album is self-consciously cohesive, with seamless transitions from track to track and an overarching soundscape. Of course, while each track stems from the same vision, there's still plenty of variation between them. For instance, the vocals on every track have a dreamy, echoey quality, but they have an airy and incorporeal(?) tone on "Us And Them" and "Breathe (In The Air)," whereas they sound piercing and ragged on "Time" and "Money." These vibe shifts are matched by other elements of the soundscape, like the wailing of the guitars. In terms of my favorite tracks, I'm a normie: "Breathe (In the Air)," "Time," and "Money" are everyone's go-tos, although I also love "The Great Gig In the Sky," "Us And Them," "Brain Damage," and "Eclipse." Honestly, this album is banger after banger, and I like them all; it's just that I like the more "transitiony-sounding" tracks like "Speak to Me" or "On the Run" a little less. One Album a Day linked me to the 2011 remastered version of The Dark Side of the Moon, which includes the "Live At the Empire Pool" version of each track. Normally, I strongly prefer studio versions over live recordings, since, to my ear, studio mixes sound better, but I'm quite fond of the included live recordings. The vocals seem gritty, rough, and flat, which injects a little more cynicism and disillusionment into the lyrics; it's no longer a dream. I also prefer the saxophone and guitar solos on the live "Money" over the studio version. I've never been to a Pink Floyd concert, so I wonder what their set lists are like: do they always play their albums in full, or do they sometimes bang out only the greatest hits? It'd be a shame if it were the latter, I think. (5/5)
Yeah
I'm not very good at reviewing music but something about the strange rhythms and synth/electronic sounds I find are really enjoyable to listen to, and each song was equally emotionally powerful regardless of if its lyrics or lack thereof. The album was both calming and somewhat ominous, but nonetheless entertaining and intriguing to listen to. I found this album encapsulated a lot of emotions and was overall very enjoyable (Money and Time have both been stuck in my head for an unbelievably long period now). This album felt very significant to me in a way I don't know how to properly articulate, but the best I can do is say I felt it in my soul (Brain damage and Any Colour You Like were particularly moving, and Eclipse was a brilliant song to end the album on, very beautiful.)
Duh!
10/10 album Favorite song: Money Best song: Time Worst song: On the run
What can I say about this album? It's arguably one of the top 10 albums of all time. I'd heard it before, but it had been quite a while since I'd listened to it all the way through. While it's not one of my absolute favorite albums, I love it, especially thanks to my grandfather, whose favorite band is Pink Floyd. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars, but since that's not possible, I think it definitely deserves 5.
Sounds very gradient. I am liking the intro to "time." oaoaowowwaahahahhaaywyayayaaRAWEGhraehooow.... More sound effects. joyous. eueueuueuu saxaphone. I like us and them.
i like it
This album has meaning to it from what I looked up it being about insanity, other things in life that are kept secret, greed, death, and time. Just watched an essay about it and holy shit this album is fucking amazing. Both song and meaning
AMOOO Me encanta todo, desde los títulos simples pero abarca mucho más que eso, la guitarra ufff y por ahí un saxofon que me dio un eargasm. Y sobre todo las letras hijueputa de estos cabrones. los amo

Pink Floyd are your classic “album” band. Whether it goes against them or not, you can’t just stick one song on. 4.78/5 stars.
MASTAPICE not me fave floyd but its a classic aint it. Always loved breathe and time. Brain damage and eclipse are the best ending ever too. Classic roger. You have to listen to it start to finish really dont ya
What can you say about it that hasn't already been said a million times before before. One of the best albums of all time. A timeless masterpiece
Absolute masterpiece Don’t expect anything less than 5 stars Might be in my top 10 albums Time is one of my favourite Pink Floyd songs
This is obviously one of the best albums ever made. Although it also has weaker points, it's still a 5/5.
6 stars
Para mí, es uno de los mejores discos de la historia. Lo escuché por primera vez hace unos 6 años, con mi papá.
This isn’t even just an album, it’s something else entirely. Everything flows perfectly, like one continuous piece. The transitions, the sound design, the way each track melts into the next—it feels like you’re inside it rather than just listening. The themes hit hard too. Time, pressure, money, madness… it all feels real, like it’s speaking directly to you. Time really stands out, that feeling of life slipping by is just too accurate. Money brings that groove but still keeps the message sharp. And The Great Gig in the Sky… no words, just pure emotion. It’s one of those albums where every detail matters, and nothing feels out of place. Calm and intense at the same time. Honestly, this is more than music—it’s an experience you don’t forget.
De los mejores álbumes del rock progresivo y rock en general. Icono cultural
One of the best.
One of the best of the best of the best
It's a wonderfully psychedelic album. Ideal for mental trips. An incredible instrumental. I love it
Heard a while ago, first time, all in one run. The album says something
love love love
Another one of these classics that it's hard to say too much about that hasn't been said ad infinitum, but I think this firmly deserves its masterpiece status. A sonic wonder for headphone listening (or in a blacklit room with a great stereo while under the influence). It's spacey, trippy, epic and carved out a sonic lane of its own, with David Gilmour's solos riding above it all. Us and Them is probably my personal favorite (good lord the choruses of this one), but the line that sticks with me most is "hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way". Easy 5.
A classic from start to finish, everyone knows this album.
I mean, what even is there to say?
A classic, obvs.
Has to be a five star because of the memories 😀
An undeniable classic. I listened to it 3 times today to be absolutely sure. No question, a 5 in every way: themes, aesthetic, continuity, catchiness, and of course the cover.
Álbum ya escuchado, una maravilla para todos los tiempos, quiero tenerlo en Vinilo
One of the greatest. Introduced by Margot but lively space shit
It’s beautiful, a work of art
Me gusto muchísimo como con sonidos similares cada canción te deja con una sensación diferente. Excelente album, temones us and them, the great gig in the sky, brain damage y breathe.
A true classic in my book. I didn't have much time for anything Pink Floyd did before or after this album, but this struck a nerve. The songs are beautifully structured and sonically rich. Well done, boys and girls.
Wow, it's THE album. And I thought it was great! I was surprised by how psychadelic and experimental this got; I thought that with how popular it is it would be much more mainstream, I guess. As on The Wall, I loved the "field recordings" in here and think they really add to the atmosphere of this record. Definitely will have to return for a more intentional listen, but, as of now, I'll give it 5 stars. Favorites: Breathe (In The Air), On The Run, Any Colour You Like, Brain Damage
Call me basic, but this is a perfect album. Sometimes the boomers are right! Shoutout to my college friend who wrote a paper on "Time" for his freshman writing seminar. Floyd is forever, baby.
When I first heard this album, I was a PF fan, and I was like, 'meh'. Too much to take in all at once, very complicated and the slow bits I had to warm up to. Now, I admit it, it is the greatest PF album. And possibly the best album of all time. Cliche take, but there it is. 5/5
Not much to say about this that hasn't been said. If you can relax your mind and let this just 'be', it will take you places. Listened a couple times through today while doing some web testing, now going to cue it up and show my daughter the Wizard of Oz in a new way.
Finally, some good fucking music. My favourite artist flip flops between The Beatles and Pink Floyd. It’s been mostly Beatles in 2026 so far but these last two days or so I’ve had the Floyd on heavy rotation. Not just the major four album run (DSOTM, WYWH, Animals and The Wall) but Piper, Momentary Lapse and Division Bell too. This is genuinely one of my favourite albums ever and it is absolutely something that everyone should hear at least once before they die. It’s a fucking masterpiece, everything this on point here. The musicianship is fantastic, the sound effects are top notch and it’s mixed beautifully. It deserves its place as one of the greatest albums of all time.
“There is no dark side of the moon, really. Matter of fact, it’s all dark.”
Crazy album, flows so well and is amazing to listen to. One of best albums of all time
The vote distribution on this album is like nothing I've seen yet, wow. I'm throwing my 5 in the pile
Favourite songs: Breathe (In the Air) and Time Overall, really loved the flow between songs. Such a beautiful album, I now understand the hype. Glad I gave it a listen.
Banger of an album. And the lyrics are just top notch. "Us, and them / And after all we're only ordinary men" is pretty relevant today. And then this one: "And if the dam breaks open many years too soon / And if there is no room upon the hill / And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too / I'll see you on the dark side of the moon". Lovely album
What to say. I challenge anyone to give this masterpiece anything less than a 6
Top 10 greatest albums of all time. How anybody doesn’t rate this a 5 is beyond me.
This reminds me of the hypnopompic hallucinations right before you wake up. The twilight moments where you are neither completely asleep nor awake in this world, either. It's the back-and-forth between realities full of silhouettes, whispers, and obscure feelings.
I have watched a friend's older brother "play" the opening to "Money" on the cash register at his gas station job. Said brother was naturally gifted at two things - fixing cars and elegantly stacking used tins of Copenhagen (dipping tobacco) in his room. As an adolescent growing into my musical self my relationship with classic rock was complicated by the sorts of associations. Our local classic rock station (96 ROCK) leaned heavily on Lynard Skynard, The Allmans, ZZTop, Marshall Tucker Band and even Molly Hatchet and we were less likely to hear music form the big cities like Lou Reed (except Walk on the Wild Side and never a Velvet Underground song), Talking Heads or Grateful Dead (until '87). From the UK - we got the same Led Zeppelin and The Who songs that permeated everywhere - and a smattering of Pink Floyd. Unfortunately Money was the winner by a long shot. As a result i really tuned out classic rock almost entirely. Thankfully I had friends that guided me to the stranger end of the PF spectrum. What teenager is not amused by "Several Species of Small Furry Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict". Eventually I found my way to Animals and later Piper at the gates of Dawn. but it took years to open myself to this. It was just ubiquitous - some hall mates in college painted the cover of this also on their wall. It's hard to uncouple an album from its legacy. But ultimately it's about prejudice - not intention. Four guys entered the studio trying to made the best album they could. They certainly weren't aiming for what they ended up hitting. They had a vision. They took a big swing. And what they created feels like nothing that has come before or after in terms of scale and ambition. Pretension is when your grasp exceeds your reach. The line between success and failure can be fine - and subjective. But when you do nail it - well then you get all the cookies. And it's still pretty weird (bonus points for that).
Easily one of the greatest albums ever made. It flows naturally fo one song to the next and has some of the best solos on record. The Great Gig in the Sky is particularly amazing.
I mean, I'm not arguing against the consensus for a five star rating, but I'm still a little surprised that it's the third highest rated album in the list globally.
Had to take a little extra time to rate this one. What an experience. The way the songs flow from one to the other, but still keep distinct feels and themes as they go, was incredibly interesting to me as a listener. The instrumentation is perfect, the vocals on point, the song compositions exquisite. Even the sound effects aren't distracting, but instead seem right at home in the bigger picture. The production worked some magic to make each component as powerful as the rest. It felt like more was happening than just playing an album. I've actually listened to The Dark Side of the Moon in full before, but just once. That was a little over a month ago. My mind was a bit blown then, and the quality held up again on this relisten. Going through it a second time was also fun since I got to pay a little closer attention to individual parts instead of just taking in the whole thing as much. I feel like I could listen to this album 100 times and not get tired of it. Of course, I had heard a number of the songs before, some of them many times. Funnily enough, I never really liked Money all that much on its own. It seemed a little hokey or something. Putting it in the context of the album made it a much stronger song. I think Time is probably the best track on the whole thing, with the guitar absolutely killing it. But the way the vocals are delivered really makes it something special, too. There's also the vocalizations that are powerful and shine through everything else on Great Gig in the Sky, making it a really moving listen. Honestly, I could say something about every track on there. They're all just that good, especially when heard together. But I'll let the rest speak for themselves, as anything I write here won't do them enough justice. This album deserves all the praise it gets. It's more than just a great listen; it's a great experience. I would struggle to find something negative to point out. Every second was a treat to my ears. I'm generally hesitant to give out 5-star rankings as I think something should be truly great to earn top marks. It was easy to do here, without pause. This has to be one of the greatest albums of all time. Overall: 5/5
Hands down, the album of the century. Period.
Nothing to say but probably one of the best albums of any genre ever!!
Um dos discos que mudam vidas. É surreal pensar que isso aqui foi feito por humanos. O que eu mais gosto na banda são as transições, e aqui tem tanta riqueza nesta questão. É incrível. Emocionante.
Espectacular. Es un viaje. No te aburrís nunca. Y es excelente hasta el el hit. 10/10
I appreciate an album that rewards you for listening through, since that's what we're doing for this list. This one takes its time, but it doesn't get boring or repetitive. There's a wide variety of sounds and engaging lyrical material. So not only is it a pleasurable listen through, you also feel like you've gone on a journey: there's a progression between tracks. It's nice that they flow seamlessly too. As with many of the other albums I gave 5 stars, I'm impressed that this one contains really strong standalone songs that also fit into the greater conceptual whole.
I didn’t want to be that cliche guy who, like everyone else, says this is a masterpiece…but damn this is good. Likes: Breathe, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky, Money, Us And Them, Brain Damage
Wish You Were Here or Dark Side of the Moon? Dark Side of the Moon or Wish You Were Here? Which is better? Since I HAVE to listen to Dark Side today, it is the best one...today. Maybe Animals tomorrow, I dunno. This is such an absolute slam dunk 5 for me the backboard exploded. Without a doubt one of the best albums ever made.
Automatic 5 stars. Perfect album. I don't just like every song of this one, but I love each and every one of them and together they are even better. This is one of those albums that if you just listen to individual songs you are missing the point. It's meant to be listened to as a whole. It really is a true concept album where the concept is life itself - literally going from birth to death and everything in between. It's hard for me to be objective on this one since it's definitely one of the best things that was ever committed to vinyl - in my opinion. And it gets even better as I get older - which is crazy. I'm 60 and probably first listened to this end to end when I was 15 or so - and was familiar with songs like "Money" before that since that was the big radio song that came out when I was 8. It's all so much better when treated as one piece of music. And it's themes make even more sense as you get older too. And it's themes are still relevant today - maybe even more so then ever before. I did re-listen to this 3 times - as I try to do with all of the albums on this list. You really must put on headphones and do nothing but just listen and immerse yourself in this. This is not background music, it's meant to be actively listened to. The music, the arrangements, the individual performances, the vocals, the lyrics - all of it is so endlessly compelling. It still makes me think about things in unique ways when I re-listen to it - even after already hearing it hundreds of times. Fun fact: I was actually sort of a Dark Side skeptic at one point. I liked it but I thought it was overrated and felt that it was one of those things that you are "supposed" to like because everyone says so. But after listening over time it just sinks in and hits harder. It makes you think about what's important in life and what the pitfalls can be. I think it's literally helped me to be a better person and helped me recognize when I was getting too selfish or missing what's important. I read that Roger Waters, when asked what the album is about, said "empathy". I can see that. It helped me understand things about how society can be bad for people such as: - too much focus on work ("Breathe") - too much focus on "Money" and success - too much focus on what separates us and not what brings us together and how those separations can be used by those who crave power to build and hold on to that power ("Us and Them"). It teaches us to care about others even (especially?) if they are different and not to blindly follow people that only want power - it helped me understand that we all need to be true to ourselves even if to others you might seem crazy - where the craziest people are actually the ones that are "in charge" ("Brain Damage"). Who are really the crazy ones - people following their own path in life or those that want to control everything and every one? - and of course "Time" which reminds us to make the most of the short time we have on this planet - and we shouldn't waste it on purely selfish pursuits. I see the truth of it all even more as I get older. It blows my mind that a bunch of guys in their late 20s created this... it seems wise beyond their years. The songs without lyrics are not filler. They carry the story along. The song "On the Run" is a fantastic depiction of existing in a high paced society and the anxiety this causes. "Great Gig in the Sky" with Clare Torry's voice as the primary instrument making wordless vocalizations - almost feels like the journey one goes through in life with highs and lows and joy and sadness and fear and eventually resignation and acceptance that the end will come. I saw this performed live by Brit Floyd (yes, it's a cover band, but they are still amazing) - and the whole place was mesmerized and felt chills. There was a resounding standing ovation when the song finished - the longest of the night, in the middle of the concert. Incredible that a song without words can do that. And the final song "Eclipse" sums it all up with a rundown of all of the things that makes a life ("all that you touch..."). Reminding us that even though there is occasional darkness (metaphorically represented by an eclipse) - there is still sunlight (positivity) to guide us. But also with death comes the eternal darkness/nothingness. Great lyrics ... - "Don't be afraid to care" - Breathe - Can't pick a best line from "Time" it's all so perfect. This one definitely hits harder as you get older. - "But if you ask for a raise it's no surprise That they're giving none away" - Money - "With, without. And who'll deny it's what the fighting's all about?" - Us and Them - "The lunatics are in my hall. The paper holds their folded faces to the floor. And every day the paper boy brings more" - Brain Damage - "And all that you love and all that you hate.... And all you create and all you destroy" - Eclipse It's all just brilliant. There aren't many albums that make you think and feel as deeply as this one. There is a reason this is so highly rated on this site (currently at #3 with an average rating of 4.43 - just barely behind Rumours 4.46 and Abbey Road 4.46) AND why it spent 996 weeks on the albums chart. I've already written too much - but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that this also has the most recognizable album cover of all time. Genius. Liked songs on Spotify: 10/10 (Perfect album) Rating: 5/5
Det här albumet är ju ikoniskt och 10/10 är det enda rättvärdiga. Allt är mäktigt och Pink Floyd är😌 🧘♀️ 10/10
Another classic. It is on rotation at my house so I hear it frequently.
Obviously fantastic.
Obvs
Not my favorite Floyd album but one of my favorite albums full stop.
a cinematic and timeless masterpiece
Banger
4.5
Not their best and certainly not the best of all time, but a wonderful album all the same.
Despite what most people would say, I don't think this is quite as good as "Wish you were here" but it is still completely brilliant.
Great
Masterpiece. Pure artistry. The emotions, memories, and visceral joy this album invokes is beyond words.
Toda una experiencia, entra en un top 10 mejores álbumes de la historia fácil
The greatest album on this list so far and probably top 3 greatest albums of all time
Legendary album Always gives me an existential crisis lol
Banger + Wizard of Oz coded
The concept was so well executed
Damn. That was awesome.
5/5 one of the best albums of all time
- I know this is a very popular album, I have never heard this before. Not the album, or any of the individual songs on it. - I liked all the synth work in On the Run. - The Great Gig in the Sky: Great bluesy tune, i fuck up the rock organ so hard bro. Also the gospel singer, it feels so gospel, i love this shit. It's got some cool harmony, a killer rock organ, a killer vocalist, and a great fucking vamp. The resolution in to the Cmaj7 Fmaj7 Bb then the Ebmaj7 then to Gm-7, Bb maj7, holy ii-V in Bb. Best track on the album. Period. - Holy Rhodes piano in Money. Also 7. Cool. Cool harmony. I love the sampling too. Fuck this album might be good. I'm at like an 8/10 at track 6. Okay there's a tenor sax. Cool effects. This might be a banger alert. - The tenor sax is back track 7. Fuck yeah. I was not expecting this. Nobody told me there was a goddamn banger saxophonist on Dark Side of the Moon. It just gets better. I'm at an 8.5/10 now. - Tracks 5-6-7 were transcendental, plus the ending track was phenomenal. I think the rest of it is fine, but what really makes this album for me is tracks 5-6-7. Like. They just went crazy mode on those 3 tracks, and I am HERE for it. I don't know if it's an 8 or a 9 or me, but it is not a 10, because of the first 5 tracks just not really doing it for me. So I will go 9 I think.
I love dark side of the moon, it lives up to its reputation as one of the best albums of all time.
I really like it, there was lots of silly sounds and bits that was fun and I feel like there was a lot of diversity in sound and feel of the different songs. I have never listened to pink floyd or this album and recognized a few songs and I don't know I am kind of into it and I am glad I listened to it.
It just works. The flow, the themes, the production, the patience - everything feels intentional without feeling forced. It’s immersive in a way few albums are, pulling you into its headspace and keeping you there. Familiar for a reason.
Peak album. Will return to listen to this album over and over in my lifetime.
Pref: breathe in the air. Great gig in the sky aussi!
It was rly good tbh
Nothing to say that hasn’t been said.
Absolute musical genius. Pure and simple. If this album isn’t a 5, then what is? Even the freaking iconic cover art is a 5! The mood and theme of the album is singular throughout. A complete work start to finish. This a true album, not just a compilation of songs. Finally, lyrically and musically the album is perfect. An absolute masterpiece.
Amazing album, true classic. Hadn't heard in a while - this was a treat
Despite having a father in law that is quite heavily into Prog, I have never actually listened to this album. And I have also never synced it to the Wizard of Oz and got high. But after listening to it, maybe I will. It is pretty much what you have got in mind when you think of a Pink Floyd. Its dark, unsettling and full of beautifully constructed soundscapes. "Time" is a fantastic study of the monotony of life but learning to reflect on what you have an make the most of it before it is gone. Where as "Money" sounds much more like an earlier version of Pink Floyd. with a bluesy bassline and less conceptual despair. Where as the sombre piano, Clare Torry's wailing vocals and the spoken words of Gerry O'Driscoll and Patricia Watt in "The Great Gig in The Sky" provide a reflection on the central concept of the album. Mortality, death and time. Its a very high concept album that fully deserves its almost legendary status. (4.575)
это был один из моих первых серьезно прослушанных альбомов. великолепное содержание и тематика, что шесть лет назад что сейчас, это просто вау
An easy five. Lovely.
Helstøbt.
Amazing.
Listening to this album from start to finish is like visiting my younger self. It was like going home.
Overall wonderful listening experience. No notes.
This is far from my favourite Floyd album but this is still as iconic as it is for a reason. Plenty of fantastic songs on here, several of which stand as some of the best in this band's entire catalogue and a very forward thinking concept too. Fav Songs: Time, Money, The Great Gig In The Sky, Us And Them Least Fav: On the Run 9.5/10
dude it's a classic and easy 10/10
I was 15 when I last heard this album and my teenage brain was blown. I am 31 now and I understand it much better. A production masterpiece, the first track remains my favourite. It is just as captivating now as it was back then. Nostalgic.
Erm what a heckin obscure pick for this list. Like, um has anyone even heard of this "Pink Floyd". My forehead has grown 3 sizes today after listening to such an enlightened piece of artistry. Jokes aside; obviously great album is great. Probably one of if not the most iconic albums of all time next to Michael Jackson's Thriller and Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.
yep that's dark side of the moon alright
One o f the best album in the history of music.
DISCAXO
This had to be a five, it’s such a perfect album. Not a single second is wasted, and it’s always shorter than I remember it being. Not my favourite Pink Floyd, but probably their most important album.
I’ve listened to this 1001 times and will listen to this 1001 times more before I die.
obvious classic and one of the best albums of all time. "Time" is just a banger freakin song. the fact that this album is over 50 years old and still sounds fresh and unique is crazy. there is a reason this album has been such a cultural phenomenon. I listen to Wish You Were Here more often, but this is just an undeniable masterpiece. i would be disrespecting my upbringing to not rate this a 5.
Beautiful, lush, and demands to be listened to in it's entirety with no bad tracks. Favorite track: Time
Bangers across the board
Self explanatory One of the best albums of all time!
10/10 zero notes. The boys fucking laid it down
Perfection
A classic for a reason. Cinematic and groundbreaking. Still sounds unlike anything else.
5/5 no notes. faves: us and them, time, brain damage
This album is such a masterpiece, with so many beautiful layers, and still being so deep. It's not the best Pink Floyd album, I wouldn't say so (but it's close to be, of course), but this just shows (at least to me) the greatness of the band. The Dark Side of the Moon is not that psychedelic as other Pink Floyd albums, but it's a fantastic conceptual album, so greatly done and delivered. 1973 has to be a special year for music... I mean, this album, plus Tubular Bells, Houses of the Holy,... So many great albums were released that year. And this one is of the best, being more of a long song rather than small ones. They all blend into each other so well, with such taste and with so much to dive in that it is such an immersive and rich musical experience where there is so much variety and still a very clear and defined sound. Overall, an album to consider as one of the greatest of all time... yet to say that there should be space for, at least, one more Pink Floyd album. But this one's such a delight.
Top to bottom you’ll be hard pressed to find a better album anywhere in musical history. And 741 weeks on the Billboard top 200 is confirmation of that.
Classic, but I missed another chance to listen while watching Wizard of Oz.
El solo de "Time" es increible
One of the best albums of all time, hands down. I've listened to it a thousand times before and plan to do so a thousand times more.
Psychedelic and beautiful
One of my favorite albums. 70s prog rock at its best.
so tuff twin
A rare gem!
One of the best albums ever.
Simply magical. Everything about it is so perfect and wonderful. The performances, the engineering, the way the instruments are treated and arranged, the sound effects, the chords, the notes, the lyrics, the melodies. And it just gives and gives and gives. I've been listening to it for thirty-plus years now and I still find new things to love. Hell, just today, I was fascinated at the rhythm guitar on Money, realizing how unpredictable it is. And that instrumental section sent me into a reverie as I was walking my dog along the streets of Aix. I marveled at the myriad colors and the changing tempos and time signature, the way the song contracts and expands, the drama and release. And then there's Great Gig in the Sky. What even is that song? It's just pure emotion and there's nothing else like it. No one ever talks about Any Colour You Like, and yet it's a magical, sensuous feast of textures and sounds. Time just might be their best song. And that grand finale that is Eclipse? Jesus. There was a time when I would honestly say that this wasn't my favorite Floyd album, so swept up was I by my recent discovery of Piper. But who was I kidding? I love Piper to death, but this? This is truly one of the greatest works of art of the last century or hell maybe any century. As much as ranted and raved about how much I love Revolver for its diversity, I love Dark Side for its singular vision. It lays out its its stakes with that very first heartbeat and then it fulfills its grand, psychedelic vision over forty-three glorious minutes of majestic highs and emotional lows, filling every second with vitality and creativity and passion and utter brilliance. They captured lightning in a prism on this one. Fucking hell.
What Scott said! Sheer brilliance
One of my favorite albums. Especially for the time period it’s amazing
classic
Cool album
a ride. dreamy. lots of head bobbing. movie.
I mean, what to say? The best of all time. I can't think of an album that beats or meets it. As a cohesive unit it wins. From a personal perspective of Roger Waters or a global perspective of humankind, these lyrics transcend time and space. If you were to put the best works of art made by man into a time capsule for other species that come after humans, this work would be an absolute critical requirement inclusion.
Clsiqque
I know this album so well, I don't need to listen to it again because I already know how to rate it. But I did, because why would you turn down an opportunity to hear it again? Not only is this a great album, but it's a core part of our cultural zeitgeist. It's accompanied me on long road trips, I've seen laser light shows set to it, I had a Dark Side t-shirt in high school, and I've even done the vinyl sync with the Wizard of Oz. And it never gets old or sounds outdated. - Heard before? Too many times to count. - Will I listen again? You better believe it. - Does it inspire me to listen to more of this artist? It always reminds me that I don't listen to Pink Floyd often enough.
David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist next to Hendrix, and the solos on this one are sublime as usual. I just love his soulful melodic blues bends and cadences and they always fit the song perfectly. What more can be said about this album that hasn't already been said? A near perfect record and the first part of the one-two punch with Wish You Were Here, which just edges this one out for best Floyd record.
I grew up with this album in high school. I have close friends who loved it and loved Floyd but they were not my thing. I like "Wish You Were Here" fine but that was about it. I was more into the Kinks, Neil Young, Led Zeppelin, et cetera. I listened to the Dolby Atmos mix of the album with really good headphones this morning. While I can't say it blew my mind, it came pretty darn close. Hard to give anything less than five stars.
Timeless.
This is as good as music gets. 5/5. An album is meant to be an experience.
oh. so this is why you all love this album so much.
One of the greatest albums of all time!
Hard not to immediately rank this a 5. The album is filled with so much emotion and has such a strong theme and cohesive point of view. Nothing feels wasted- even the instrumental transitions take you on a journal. Overall- masterful album
My favourite album of all time.
A fantastic start
It is just pretty bastard good isn't it ridiculously ahead of its time.
one of my favourite albums ever, the great gig in the sky is my fav of the album and honestly one of my favourite songs ever
The best
It's already been said. Top Track: Any Colour You Like
Utterly sublime.
Doesn’t really get more classic rock than this.
One of the best records in rock history 5/5
What more needs to be said about this album. It is considered to be one of the greatest of all time.
j’adore
Not the biggest Floyd fan, heard most of the songs individually, so wasn't sure what to expect as a full run through. But absolutely blown away. Perfect album. Flows amazingly, just a purely enjoyable listening experience.
What more could possibly be said about his album? Even if you're not a Pink Floyd fan, something here resonates with you.
One of the easiest 10/10s I can give. Flawless record with some of the greatest sounds on it, and it still holds up today to boot. Cannot rate this any lower than a 10/10.
It's sort of a perfect album. I don't even like Pink Floyd that much, but this one is a such an easy 5. It progresses so beautifully and is so easy to listen to.
