Run-D.M.C.
3/5
This is a landmark album in hip hop with a lot of firsts for the genre. At times the album feels dated because of how far the genre has progressed since the release of this album.

This starts with Beautiful Day and then proceeds to be one of the most boring albums ever made.

Fleetwood Mac
5/5
This is honestly one of the best albums ever written. An all time great.
Miles Davis
5/5
While I like this album because Miles Davis is a GOAT, it is a compilation album and lacks the unity of a complete, focused album. All the songs are really good, but it just feels as if it is missing that album feel.
Run-D.M.C.
3/5
This is a landmark album in hip hop with a lot of firsts for the genre. At times the album feels dated because of how far the genre has progressed since the release of this album.
Bob Marley & The Wailers
4/5
Amazing album from one of the best. Really makes you feel like you are off in the heat of the islands even though the cool fall weather is starting to set in now.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
4/5
I have never listened to this album before, but I really enjoyed the indie electronic sound to it. The vocals were very enjoyable and had a 90s punk vibe similar to Gwen Stefani in No Doubt.
Joni Mitchell
5/5
I do not love Joni Mitchell, but this album is great. Excellent writing and vocal performance. The instrumentals are immaculate. The last song Twisted really stood out to me as it is essentially a vocal jazz performance.
Marvin Gaye
3/5
This has got to be the most mid Marvin Gaye album. While it is smooth, every song is stylistically identical which made it pretty boring to me.
Butthole Surfers
1/5
Well this is a weird album. The Butthole Surfers experiment with a lot of different sounds here. None of which are very appealing to me. The poor dog in the album cover.
The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
4/5
Very interesting and progressive political commentary. Talks a lot about being gay which is often frowned upon in the hip hop community.
Tori Amos
4/5
I really like the piano and orchestral arrangements in this album. Tori Amos also has a very pretty voice.
David Bowie
4/5
Love the piano parts in this album. The song writing is pretty strong as well, but I am not the biggest fan of Bowie's whiny voice at some points.
Bad Company
3/5
The dads everywhere are going to love this one!!! Pretty solid rock album, I think all of the songs are pretty good.
Eagles
3/5
Lot of long and slow ballads. Some all time classics on here, but as an album it felt kind of boring to me.
Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
4/5
Salsa music is fun and something I do not really listen to.
Spiritualized
3/5
This album is both interesting and unremarkable at the same time.
Crowded House
3/5
This is sounds like the Australian wannabe Beatles.
Elton John
4/5
Tiny Dancer is an all time great banger. The rest of the album is also very strong even though I am not as familiar with the rest of the songs.
Nine Inch Nails
5/5
Very impressive album. I love the synth sounds in here and the electronic sounding drums. I have never listened to this album before, but I certainly see why this is considered one of the best albums from the 90s.
Wilco
3/5
Nice country rock album. It is very long though and begins to get stale about halfway through.
Dizzee Rascal
2/5
Maybe I just don't like UK hip/hop that much, but this album is pretty abrasive to me. The production is indeed "grimy" and the lyrics are tough for me as an American to understand. Between the distracting beats and difficult-to-understand lyrics it was tough for me to get anything out of this.
Derek & The Dominos
3/5
Really love the album cover. The songs are pretty good too. Eric Clapton's best work IMO.
David Bowie
3/5
I liked the weird piano parts on this album a lot.
Roxy Music
3/5
Lead singer's voice is atrocious, I hate it. Instrumentals are cool though.
Rush
3/5
Similar to yesterday, this album has amazing instrumentals. Nearly impeccable in my opinion. The lead singer's voice is screechy and sounds like complete shit.
Lucinda Williams
4/5
I really like Folk music and Americana so this album is right up my alley. Great songwriting and imagery of life in America.
The Kinks
5/5
I had never heard this album before, but it is really, really good. Strong instrumentals and harmonies, catchy toons, excellent lyrics. I was really impressed.
The Kinks
3/5
not as good as the kinks album friday. it's alright i think. less unique of an album.
Scott Walker
4/5
Jackie is kind of a banger. Scott Walker has a really pleasing voice. The song lyrics seem very risque for this time period.
Oasis
3/5
Some nice British 90s rock. Honestly pretty good if you forget they are the band that made wonderwall.
Saint Etienne
3/5
Pretty interesting house/pop album. I could feel the vibes.
Gorillaz
5/5
Very unique album blending rock, hip/hop, electronic, and country sounds.
Run-D.M.C.
3/5
This has some true hip hop classics on it, but really feels dated.
3/5
Interesting punk album that incorporates a lot of different genres in it.
Alanis Morissette
3/5
Her voice is really terrible at points and really good at others. Very odd inconsistency for what is consider one of the best albums of all time. There are a lot of classic 90s bangers on here though.
The Sugarcubes
3/5
Pretty interesting album. Bjork really carries the album here. I do think that the mix is pretty bad at times, with the vocals being too quiet to understand compared to the instruments.
Buffalo Springfield
5/5
Very pretty album. Lyrically it is strong, musically it is strong. Variation between more electric songs and more folk songs. Excellent work.
Willie Nelson
5/5
Insanely beautiful vocals. Such calming delivery.

5/5
One of my all time favorite albums and a true modern classic.

Beautiful harmonies in timeless pop music. Great stuff from the Beach Boys as always.
Steely Dan
5/5
One of my favorite classic rock albums. The instrumentals are so crispy here. Very impressive.
Electric Light Orchestra
2/5
Mr. Blue Sky is the big hit on here. The album has some interesting effects, but it feels long and drags a bit.
Frank Sinatra
3/5
Frank Sinatra is always good. But there is only so much of the same sounding music I think you can have in one record before it gets boring.
Jeff Beck
2/5
Impressive guitar work, but jeff beck's voice doesn't really do it for me.
The Byrds
4/5
Really solid country album. Love the slide guitar on here. As well as the saloon piano.
Songhoy Blues
3/5
Pretty cool instrumentally. Wish I could understand any of the words though.
The Velvet Underground
4/5
Interesting album. I really liked the orchestra parts. Oh also I want to do heroin now.
Madonna
4/5
Very solid pop album with a lot of gospel music influences.
Teenage Fanclub
3/5
It is a pretty solid rock album, but I feel like there is nothing unique about it. Felt a little generic and boring to me.
This starts with Beautiful Day and then proceeds to be one of the most boring albums ever made.

5/5
A landmark album for the indie rock genre in the 2000s. Arcade Fire's best work.
Aerosmith
3/5
This an alright rock album that has some pretty big hits on it.
Paul Weller

Portishead
4/5
Pretty great album for a rainy day. Pretty unique for its time.
Nick Drake
4/5
Very smooth album. I really enjoyed it.
Elvis Costello & The Attractions
2/5
It must be tough when the other Elvis in music is so much better.

As someone who is a Rolling Stones hater, I was pleasantly surprised by this album. It covers rock, folk, and country rock.
Muddy Waters
4/5
Strong blues album. I enjoyed it.

Decent rock album, pretty diverse sounds and instrumentation.
Count Basie & His Orchestra
5/5
Really great big jazz album. Really enjoyed this one, it was a lot of fun. Album art is fun too.
Basement Jaxx
3/5
Some of these songs are very weird and some of them are very fun. This could be a very cool electronic album if it was a bit more consistent.

5/5
I really like the guitar work here and the lead vocals started to grow on me. Pretty fun album.
The Mars Volta
2/5
A lot of interesting sounds going on, but not for me.
Ride
3/5
Pretty cool instrumentals and album cover. Do not love the vocals though.

A true Jazz classic.
Frank Sinatra
3/5

4/5
Tis the season and this has some all time great holiday hits.

One of the greatest folk albums of all time in my opinion. Elliott Smith is hauntingly beautiful here.

2/5
Pretty boring album, not a big fan.

Joplin's unique voice really shines out. She sounds great despite the vocal imperfections.

The guitar work was very good, but this is just not really my type of music.

Really great pop album that I did not like much upon its initial release.
Fugazi
2/5
Not for me, honestly thought it was pretty boring which is quite something for a punk album.
Motörhead
1/5
The lead singer has a bad voice. Kind of just bland hard rock to me. This is definitely not my type of music. It is also almost two hours long. No thank you.

2/5
This is lame, boring, and cringe. The album cover is garbage too.
Little Simz
4/5
The production is cool and I liked this album more than I remembered.

3/5
The guitar and organ are quite cool. The vocals are quite uncool.
Led Zeppelin
4/5
Pretty great rock album.

A lot of some of the greatest classic classic rock songs of all time.
Carpenters

"Being Boring" is a great way to describe this album.

This is super British and super okay.

5/5

5/5
Amazing album, no real flaws in my opinion.

Beautiful live album. You really feel like you are in the club listening to it.
Lou Reed
4/5
Really strong songwriting in my opinion. I really enjoy the arrangements of the songs as well.
John Martyn
2/5
Do not really like much of the vocals here, but did enjoy bits of the instrumentals.
Megadeth
3/5
I really like the album cover here much more than the music. Some of the guitar work is really cool, but the vocals are absolutely awful. Very high energy though.
Robbie Williams
2/5
Very British, very 90s, very boring.
Iggy Pop
2/5
Pretty interesting instrumentals and production. Iggy Pop's voice is really terrible and I hate it.

Fun electro/pop/funk album. Pretty cool concept of the archandroid too.
Fiona Apple
4/5
I have never really been a Fiona Apple fan, but this is the first album that really clicked for me and I get the hype.
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
1/5
Ghosteen is incredibly boring. Yes the lyrics are powerful, but the music and delivery of the lyrics are just very stale and boring. It does not really feel like this builds anywhere musically.
Siouxsie And The Banshees
4/5
I really enjoyed the guitarwork and vocals on this album. Both were excellent.
Morrissey
3/5
Miserable Morrissey sounds pretty good here. Pleasantly surprised by this.
5/5
One of the best albums ever.
Beatles
5/5
Banger album.
Fleetwood Mac
3/5
A bit more experimental than other Fleetwood Mac albums. It is very long though and I think there is a good amount of filler in here.

4/5
Pretty diverse album with blues and bluegrass songs. I really fuck with Fallen Eagle.
5/5
I really enjoyed this. It's kind of like atmospheric world jazz or something. Pretty smooth.
Metallica
2/5
The guitar work is cool, but I just do not love metal music. Maybe it's because I listened to it at 8am on a work day, but who knows.

1/5
Fucking awful voice. Holy shit I do not think I have heard a worse voice.
Sly & The Family Stone
3/5
Really funky and cool sound.
Jerry Lee Lewis
3/5
Goodness gracious great balls of fire! Honestly pretty fun live album. Sounds like a fun concert. Too bad he married his 13 year old cousin.
Bruce Springsteen
2/5
Not a bad country rock type album. Some gospel influences as well. It is very long and begins to drag as all of the songs are very similar.
AC/DC
2/5
I feel like this album would be great if you are like 10 beers deep at a football game, but I do not really know why you would listen to it in any other situation.

This honestly might be the GOAT Jazz album.
Radiohead
3/5
I think the composition of the songs is very cool, but I do not particularly like the singer's voice.
Frank Zappa
4/5
The instrumentals are really amazing here. I love the guitar work and the electric fiddle in "The Gumbo Variations" is sweet. Zappa's voice sounds kind of scary sometimes, but he really does not sing enough for it to take away from the album.
Simply Red
3/5
Pretty diverse pop album. It does start to drag towards the end.
The Who
4/5
This is a very interesting full length rock opera. I feel as if it is too long, but it does share a cohesive story throughout and the transition between songs is very cool.

Supertramp
3/5
I do like the keyboard parts in this. Pretty cool album overall even though I am not a huge prog rock fan.
Fiona Apple
2/5
Right off the bat there is a weird dolphin sounding vocal part? I really think this sounds like it is written by someone who smells like shit for some reason. I do not enjoy the weird vocalizations and vocal rhythms at all.

5/5
This album is banging. The jazz rock sound is awesome. I love the keyboard parts.
Prince
2/5
I honestly wish I liked Prince more, but it just is not for me. It's some funk music here, but I just do not like it much and I cannot really put my finger on it. Maybe it's his voice.
Weather Report
4/5
Randy Newman
3/5
Newman's voice is amazing and his composition of the songs is really great as well. Very impressive, but the album does feel a bit racist. Wikipedia says it is satirical though.

2/5
This is a Christmas music type beat. Very smooth, but boring. Made me feel sleepy.
Suede
1/5

Kind of boring and slow. Hallelujah is a banger though.

John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
3/5
Pretty solid blues album. Guitarwork is pretty strong.
Guns N' Roses
3/5
Some really big hits on here like Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, and Sweet Child O' Mine. Outside of those it is pretty mid.
Jacques Brel
3/5
Great voice and pretty fun songs. It would be some good music to cook to or something. But I have not the faintest idea of what any of the lyrics mean.
Pink Floyd
4/5
The production on this song is really solid. All the instrumentals are really strong and the lyrics are very good as well. The transitions between tracks are very smooth which I always enjoy. The biggest downside is that the album is very long.

Pretty trippy. Kind of a stark contrast compared to The Wall which was the last album.

Miles Davis
4/5

The Smashing Pumpkins
4/5

The Human League
3/5
Very synth pop from the 80s, ends on a band with Don't you want me.

My My, Hey Hey is such a banger. Some of the heavier rock songs do not go as well with Young's voice in my opinion.
Neil Young

Bee Gees
3/5
A more diverse album than I would have thought.

3/5
Cool guitar work, but it really seems like no one in this band can sing.
Lupe Fiasco
5/5
A hip hop classic.

Sort of interesting techno dancy music, but it gets old and repetitive very quickly.

There She Goes is the big hit off of this, but the record is otherwise okay.
Lightning Bolt

A little weird, but still had some cool guitar parts.

4/5
This was really cool. Common has great social commentary and a very nice voice and flow.
