I underestimated how good their first album was. I was ready to give it a 4 but song after song is just great.

I always think of highschool with this band. There was a kid who’s favorite band was Thin Lizzy and he got picked on for it. Maybe because it was the 2000’s not the 70’s. Anyways, decent live album with good sound quality.

I don’t want to sound like a bleeding heart lib but some songs like “Jailbait” really don’t age well. That being said there are obviously some classic songs and overall it’s a good sounding album.

Could have been a 4 star for me but there is a lot of filler tracks.

This is honestly about the time I don’t care as much but Radiohead. The vocals are all incomprehensible moaning. The music is trying so hard to be Unique with weird time signatures. They are obviously good musicians but they start to lack any interesting melodies.

This album started out really strong then quickly fell off for me. If it was not for the first song I’d probably give this a 2.

Starts out strong with their big hit then the rest of the songs are meh to okay.

Talented band but gets a little too proggy for me.

I had trouble paying attention to this album but the moments I did focus in I liked it. I just couldn’t latch onto it for what ever reason.

Solid album from John Lennon with minimal Ono.

A couple of good songs but overall just not my style of metal.

Good album with some great songs. It did fall off about half way through for me.

Really just not my style and they gave me a weird Christian vibe. I could see how people may like it though.

Still not entirely my style of metal but I enjoyed this a bit more than some of their later albums. I can see why people liked this.

I don’t know why but I really don’t care for the Who. Maybe I’m just seeing them from too modern of a perspective but they sound like the most vanilla version of British rock to me.

I can’t say I really liked it disliked this album. I listened to it yesterday and nothing really stuck with me.

Started out liking it but then kind of lost interest part way. Some good songs in it though.

I really could not get into this. It’s an instrumental album and it feels like each song is only 4 bars long repeating for 3-5 minutes.

A fantastic album, maybe made better because the album before this was an instrumental album that was boring. While this isn’t entirely instrumental it’s not your typical rock or pop album either.

Another instrumental album that I just couldn’t connect with

I believe this is before David Gilmore joins and it really sounds like a different band. I do not like this era of 60’s British bands. Everyone is trying to be whimsical and sing about Alice in Wonderland and other trippy bullshit.

Another 60’s psychedelic mess, really not into this stuff.

This is a case of good musicians but music that just didn’t interest me.

Good album but I was not able to give it a fair listen yesterday. Obvious Miles Davis is extremely talented.

If I could give 4 1/2 I would. It’s a great album but sometimes a little too mellow and folksy for me.

I really don’t care for this era a lot. It’s very “jam band” esq. Jannis Joplin kind of sounds like ass to be.

People always argue over John vs Paul and I find myself going back and forth. I used to prefer John much more, and lately found myself going towards Paul. However after listening to this again I can’t deny that it’s an amazing album.

It’s not the Beatles best but it’s still the Beatles. It’s very of its time and I kind of wonder if they thought they had too many songs about “love” when making it. It might not be so different from pop songs now but every song seems to talk about love.

A good late 80’s early 90’s country esq album.

I like the pet shop boys well enough this one was kind of hard for me at times and nothing really grabbed me.

This is a good live album. I’m sure Dylan fans like it as it seems to have a lot of the hits in his prime. Sometimes he almost sounds like someone trying to sound like Bob Dylan.

This album brought me back to my highschool days and now my hip hurts. I’m knocking a star off for that.

“Every breath you take” is great but the rest just don’t hit for me.

I really couldn’t get into this album. It felt like too much was going on most of the time.

A pretty run of the mill country album to me. It was not bad just not always my genre.

The production is great and you can tell they are talented, but some of these songs are too long for me. There is never any kind of hook to be found either.

I usually like Nick cave and I know music is subjective, but this is subjectively just bad. It just drones on and there isn’t anything memorable to me.

I know Thundercat is an exceptional bass player and musician but I didn’t care for this. Every song felt like he was half serious and half joking around.

While I loathe the “ding dong” bit in around the world, I can’t deny that there are many great song’s on this album.

Absolutely fantastic album that I really considered giving 5 on. It gets a little out there at times but me but then Bowie brings everything around and it’s fantastic. 4.9999…no, let’s just give a 5. Damn it.

Usually I really enjoy David Bowie but this one didn’t connect with me.

It’s one of the best Arcade Fire albums and it still really holds up. This may be where they really proved they weren’t just a stomp clap band.

Decent bluesy album.

This album feels very of the time but not in a bad way for me. It has an overall smooth and relaxing vibe.

Cool punk album. Nothing amazing, nothing awful to me.

Always a good chill vibe from The Jesus and Mary Chain but sometimes they are lacking energy. I’ve noticed sometimes I prefer their songs covered by other artists.

I unfortunately just don’t get the appeal of this type of music outside of a club or party.

This isn’t exactly the type of music I seek out but I can’t deny it’s a nice relaxing listen.

I overall enjoyed this album but it’s not really one I’ll go back to a lot. It obviously has some hits and is well regarded.

Cool album with an 80’s vibe even though it came out in 79. Seemed to foretell where pop music was going from there.

If you like Arctic monkeys you may like this. It for the most part just played like background music to me. Nothing of real interest stood out.

A good live Jazz album. Maybe a tad long but what’s stopping you from pausing and coming back?

There were some songs that sounded like a decent experimental take. Too many songs that sounded like experimental bullshit that goes nowhere.

I get that you can’t have an album called “69 love songs” without a minimum of 69 songs but couldn’t they have made it 10-12 love songs instead? It’s not bad it’s just bloated and long.

A great old country album. As any old white dude will tell you “They don’t make ‘em like this anymore!”.

I was worried that “Take on me” would be the only good song since it’s the “hit” but everything was enjoyable. They have more of a David Bowie sound than I realized.

I was not fully aware of how great ABC is and only knew one or two songs vaguely. This was a real treat.

If I’m in a really bad mood I don’t get how people consider this music. If I’m in a good mood I realize not everything is meant for me and turn it off.

I enjoyed the last album I heard from this guy and thought this may be similar. I was wrong and did not enjoy this overall. It is too atmospheric for me.

Most of this was generic 80’s love music which is fine. Then he had a song that had the “rain rain rain go away” rhyme as the chorus and I got mad at this whole album.

Pretty forgettable

Generic 60’s rock album

I was ready to give this a higher score just based on the hits I know. However the rest of the songs just feel like filler and kind of lazy. They found a formula and were too afraid to stray.

It’s abrasive and vulgar but everything is catchy and high quality.

Devo are able to be experimental without forgetting that music should have some melody to it. Great album.

I wonder if anyone has seen this album cover and read the title and thought “this must be a really heavy album!” Then you put it on and it sounds like like Rock Horror picture show then Black Sabbath. Which is fine.

A seemingly standard 80’s country album. I don’t know if this made waves at the time of release and it only now sounds like everything else.

Pretty standard Bob Dylan album

A mix of generic late 90’s/early 00’s rock and generic British alt rock. You do get moments of fun. I also imagine “Get Free” was overplayed in sports highlight packages of the time.

Going in I was thinking this would be a 4. Then I realized that over half are really amazing songs. Even if the other 4 out of 5 are mediocre it’s such a great piece. I’m sure the guitar nerds weren’t happy with all the synth but it works.
