Never heard of boards of canada until today. Reminds me a lot of trip hop groups I used to listen to, like Orbital. Really enjoyed this band. Looking forward to listening to more of BoC.

Fantastic album. Well written, great blues rock album
What a hauntingly beautiful album! I've listened to another Nick Drake album a few months ago and found it just as beautiful.

Never heard of boards of canada until today. Reminds me a lot of trip hop groups I used to listen to, like Orbital. Really enjoyed this band. Looking forward to listening to more of BoC.
An iconic album of the early 70's. Several songs I've forgotten about. Loved listening to this album today.
Never been much of a fan of this album, but it has been some time since I've listened to it... I reluctantly listened to it again today... I'm still right, this album doesn't resonate with me. Its ok, but in my mind, its over hyped.
One of the best rock albums of all time. Love this album. Highly layered songs, that are extremely intricate. Great compositions from start to finish. Yes this is over indulgence but I'm ok with it here. Love this album!
Fantastic album. I never really listened to Iggy Pop before and I was missing out. Great album!
Good songs, not my normal type of music I like but I did enjoy it
Wow, I forgot how out there this album can be... I've listened to this a few times, once when I was a teenage, another when I was in college, and again now. It was not exactly what I remember. Some strong parts but overall, very interesting.
Absolutely beautiful album. Its very clear why this is one of the best selling jazz albums of all time.
Album was uneven. Some songs I really like, next to others that I could do without...
Fantastic album! Love every song on this album.
Better than what I thought it was going to be. I really like Jamiroquai '96 album. This was a good fun album. I enjoyed it.
Album starts off strong but by the end of it, I found myself not very interested. Its a decent album, but not by favorite by Wings.
Never heard of this artist before. Its ok, different. There are a lot of songs on this album that remind me of other artist of the 1970's. Lots of yacht rock artists must have listened to this guy...
Could not make it through this album. Not my type of music.
Never heard this album before. I enjoyed it. Really enjoyed the writing on this album. Definitely going to add this album to the rotation.
One of the best albums of the early 90's! Each song is a banger. Love, love, love this album!!!!!
Decent album, starts off pretty strong, but the end its a little repetitious
Good album. I enjoyed it. I've never listened to Emmylou Harris, I like her voice and the production of this album. The song writing was strong, lovely voice and interesting melodies.
Memories were good but not a great album.
This was an interesting album. Started strong but I lost interested after several songs.
This was just an ok album. Not a big Simon & Garfunkel fan and I can see why. Of course it was strong song writing but musically kind of borning.
One of the best albums in rock!
Never heard this album before. Enjoyed most of it. At other times, kind of bored with it. It was just ok.
Great album! War is an album that I've always enjoyed. Listening to this one was fantastic!
Just ok. This album didn't resonate with me. A couple of good songs "Drive" being one of them but overall just ok.
No...
Not a fan of this one... Started strong but declined fast!
Decent album. Didn't know it but I like the vibes on this one.
This album is ok at best. Morrissey has always been ok with a couple of good songs. This album is average at best...
Early Beatles are just ok. A couple of good songs but I really do prefer later Beatles.
Ugh... Not much of fan of Mariah Carey and this album prove that thought...
I really enjoyed this album. Its one of the best albums of the 90's.
Good album. Haven't listened to it before but really enjoyed a few of the cuts.
Couldn't get through this one...
Love this album, strong early 70's southern blues!
Never heard this album before, liked it WAY more that what I thought I would. Its really good!
Couple of good songs. I really enjoy the first few. After a while it was repetitive.
Hadn't heard this album before. Its ok, not great, not bad either. No real memorable songs on this album
One of the great rap albums of this generation.
This was hard to get through. Just not my type of music.
One or two interesting tracks but nothing more here.
One good song, lots of average/forgettable songs...
Never heard this album, guessing by the number of times these songs have been played, not many other have heard of Belle & Sebastian. Just average songs here. Nothing to really get excited about... Not bad, but nothing stands out here.
Its an ok album with a couple of good songs.
Love this album. Some really great songs on this one!
Good album, not their best but good.
Was not expecting this album to be what it is. Couple of good songs, lot of different sounding Who songs. Not bad at all, just different.
One of the best cool jazz albums of this era. Its a great album, each track is gold.
First Rufus Wainwright album I've listened to in a while. Its just ok. Some nice songs but most of it was just ok.
Very average.
Not an Anthrax fan..
I liked this better than I though. Definitely reminds me of the Gorillaz.
Good background music...
Yeah... No, one good song and a lot of long bits that should have just stayed on the cutting room floor.
Great album with some absolute classic songs.
Not a good album. Its ok at best but lots not to like. Good background music.
Solid album. I liked some of their other album more but still a strong album.
Good album.
Love this album! I forgot how great Isaac Hayes is. What a good album!
Love the 2nd disk, the more folk is not my thing
I found this more interesting that I thought it would be. Not bad but not great.
Cool album! Love Curtis Mayfield, but not his best album.
Not much of a Donald Fagen fan. This album only reinforces that premise.
Yowza! That was interesting. Definitely not the best album of theirs but it was very interesting.
Fantastic album! Love nearly every track.
Never heard of this group. It was just ok. Sounds like early Erasure.
I can get lost in these afro/latin rhythms.
Liked it more than I thought I would. Good tracks.
Two good songs... The rest, not so much...
Fantastic album
Absolute banger of an album!!!
Great album! One of my favorites of the 80's.
Not what I was expecting, especially after the first track. Just ok. Rest of the album sounded kind of the same.
This is one of their best albums, LOVE IT
Interesting... Might want to listen to it again.
Good album. Like most of the songs.
This album offers a glimpse into who Lenny Kravitz will become. It a bit rough and monotonous at times. It has moments of greatness but very uneven.
Ok album. Some really good songs and a lot of just ok.
Solid album. Great writing and fantastic music. Not a big Paul Simon fan but this is a solid album.
Great album! Love his tone and melodical soloing.
Never heard this album before. Like it. It became a little repetitive but it was still good.
This album should have been left in the 90's. I remember this album and wasn't much of a fan. Just not what I want.
Outside of two songs, this was a hard one to get through.
Did NOT know who the Stranglers were, but a couple of decent songs on this on.
Good background music. Just couldn't get into this album and I really tried.
Good album, one of Van Morrison's best. Lots of goods songs on this one.
This album had so much potential but its a bit slow and meandering. I was hoping for me but this album never grabbed me like I hoped.
Not his best album, but it was interesting
So far this is the best Dylan album that I've listened to. Really like his more electric playing.
Great album! Each song is strong. Love this album!!!
Loved the vibe of this album. Led to listening to other really good artists. This album was good bgm.
A couple of good songs but not much more. A little more downbeat that what I was expecting. Not bad but not great either.
Never heard of John Grant before today. I really like the writing of the lyrics and I never pay attention to the lyrics. Really good album. Looking forward to listening to more of his albums.
This album really didn't stick with me. Its ok, but nothing really memoreable.
I can see the value in this album. Fantastic writing, fantastic music. Its good but it doesn't resonate with me. I will have to listen to this album again in the future to see if I still think this album is just ok.
Forgot how strong this album is. Some really great writing on this one and an indicator of what was to come.
Yeah... Bass solos are far more entertaining in person... Ok album.
Just ok. This album doesn't hold up outside of the popular 3 songs.
Hard for me to get through this album. Its ok, but I'd rather listen to the artists Elvis was listening to. Decent songs, good recording.
Love this album. Strong writing.
Meh...
One of their better albums. Some of the songs were really innovative for their time. Many others copied what was done on this album.
Not what I was expecting. More blues based, which makes sense given the lineup. Very young Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page, and the playing shows that.
Fantastic Album. One of the best albums in the 90's.
Forgot just how good this album is. Strong writing from start to end. Great tracks!!!
Woo boy! This album was a great one. Love the creativity behind this album.
I usually really like dark post punk brit groups but this album was not to my liking...
Not my favorite by Siouxsie. A bit too raw with glimmers of greatness.
Just ok. 2 decent songs and thats it...
Fantastic but uneven album. Some absolute bangers here.
Kind of the same throughout the album. Started strong but it did not finish that way...
Never been much on Buddy Holly and this album proves it. Couple of good songs but not much more.
This one was a bit of a grind... I remember this album when it came out and found David Gray's voice interesting but the music... uninteresting... That has stayed true during the past 30 years...
Liked this album more than I thought I would. A couple of catchy tunes. Would definitely listen to again.
No wonder I hadn't listened to this album before, not good... They definitely had a slump on this one.
Really like this album. Hadn't spent much time listening to T.Rex before but this was a fun listen.
Decent album. More poppy than I was thinking it would be. Liked the feel of the album.
Some decent song, it was a good album that draws from the influences for the time. I could hear Toad the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossums and others in the album.
Fantastic album, probably his best album. 7 out of 9 songs are wonderful. Great writing, great music!
Just ok
Just ok. Nothing great here. Loved the way it started but this album doesn't carry the energy from the start through to the end. An uneven album for sure.
One of their best albums! Strong writing from start to finish.
Just ok, not much here. I miss the poetry of reggae...
What a great album! Nearly every song is fantastic.
Just ok. Not a big fan of this album
Decent album, reminded me of Delbert McClinton. Good writing.
Not great at all...
Someone described her as a muse of the 70's NYC scene... I don't know about that, I could only draw parallels of her music with Yoko Ono... It was interesting but that's about it...
Absolutely beautiful album.
Not a big fan of this album. Double Fantasy is so much better.
This album had it moments, but after a while it was all the same.
Just an average album, definitely not their best.
Definitely not his best. Just an ok album...
Better than I thought it was going to be. I knew a few of the songs and I knew a few songs from the D&B demo's I've seen over the years.
Not bad, I like the smooth jazz feel, which is not something that I tend to gravitate towards.
Loved this album. Reminds me of my father. So many strong songs on this one.
Decent. Hadn't listened to this album before but I knew the big hits. Its ok, even good. Its a good introduction to The Go-Go's.
Meh... Just meh meh meh... Didn't hate it, all I can muster is a meh...
No idea who they were and now I know why.
Not as good as True Blue. Some decent songs but kind of average.
Just barely ok. Was hoping for something more.
Just ok. While very creative, not really resonating with me.
Huh.. I liked this album more than I thought I want. Vocals are so 80's that it resonated with me. Didn't love it but didn't hate it.
Just couldn't...
Not great, but good.
Fantastic Album!!!!
A couple of good songs but the album is not as strong as their others.
I really liked the writing on this album. A little more dour than I liked but still solid.
Never heard this album before or of this artist. Really like a lot of this album. Really creative, really interesting.
Just couldn't do it... Not a horrible album, definitely loved parts of it but the screaming and growling...
Just an average 90's album...
Good album, Love the Temptations.
Better than what I thought it was going to be.
Not bad, one banger song and the rest was good.
Better than what I was expecting. Never heard of them or this album. Really like the vibe of this one. Will listen to this album again.
Just ok. I was hoping for more...
Could only listen to a few songs. Most of this album, Spotify would not allow them to be played. I liked what I heard.
Not good...
Better than what I was expecting. Not really a fan of Steely Dan but this was a good album.
So much weird shit going on in the background of this album. I really liked some of this but that weird shit is very distracting...
Fantastic Album. Great song
That was... interesting. Not bad, not good but interesting. I would listen to it again.
Really good album. I really liked the live tracks.
This album really grew on me.
I forgot about this album. It wasn't as bad as i remember from when I was 5. Great guitar work in this album.
Really liked this album. I wished I would have heard Bad Brains in the 80's. This was exactly the type of music I was into!
I had to listen to this album more than once and each time it grew on me. Some of these songs are brilliant yet bizarre. Really enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Not as good as I remember. A couple of good tracks but the rest left me wondering why I liked this album so much.
Fantastic Album! Some great songs.
Not what I was expecting at all. There was a lot to like here. Different but good different.
Not a great album from the Smiths, I was expecting a lot more on this album but I struggled getting through this one.
Love this album! Song great fundamental blues songs.
Decent songs but the interludes were not good...
An odd album to say the least...
Pretty good album. I've never really listened to early Rolling Stones, but I like the feel of most of this album. Of course there were a couple of bangers, but outside of them, it was a good 60's album.
Either they were heavily influenced by early rockers in the 60's or they influenced them. Wasn't a bad album but wasn't good either...
Not a good or interesting album...
Really strong album. Never been a big Springsteen fan and this album was huge at the time. Good writing.
This album did not age as well as I thought it would. Yeah two big songs, but other than that is was very subpar, especially compared to NAS and WuTang and others.
I was wanting to like this album more, but nope.
There best album. From start to finish, a great album!
Loved some of this album. Reminds me of my parents
Very biting humor on this album. Satire at its finest... But the music was just ok.
Just ok. Wished for more on this one.
What a great album! This album was a harbinger of what was to come for east coast rap in the 90's.
Nice album. Really liked her voice and styling
Not my jam... I tried but it was ok at best.
Could not make it through this album. Just bad...
Good album. Reminds me of Chicago underground in the mid-late 90's.
Pretty good, would listen to more
Cool album from the coolest motherfucker. I like this album just as much as Bitches Brew, which came out a few years later. This was definitely an indication of what was coming.
Didn't like the Band then, didn't like the band now. Did not find it interesting at all.
I liked it more than I thought I would.
Really good album. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Ok, Its a different album, but not what I was hoping for. More eclectic than necessary. Looking at their trajectory, this album points to more interesting ideas in the future.
That was a tough one to get through. If you like traditional country, boarder line folk music, this one is for you.
One of the best rap albums of the late 90's.
Absolute banger! One of the best albums of the 80's.
This album proves that I don't have the taste for Neil Young. I like his songwriting, but I don't like his voice. Nails on a chalk board.
Good album. Reminds me of my father. Some decent songs to say the least, but felt very time bound. Not a bad thing just something that when I think of 70's song writers, Carole King is at the top of that list.
This album and most of m b v is a wall of sound. I like some of this but it can be a little monotonous at times.
I liked it more than I thought I would. It wasn't bad, nice arrangement.
This album still holds up. Sold song writing.
Had a hard time getting through this one. Very 80's British new wave.
Love this album, this is one of the best albums of the early 2000's. Creative and refreshing for that point in time.
This one did not resonate with me. I like his voice, unique and deep, but the music did not grab me.
Love this album. British new wave, at its best.
I liked this more than I thought I would. The driving bass lines and the syncopation of reggae is what I loved about this. Strong album, decent lyrics, stellar musicianship.
Not bad. The recording isn't that great, which overshadows the performances here.
Love this album. Strong writing, original for the time and really guided groups like REO Speedwagon and others.
Love this album. Reminds me of uni. Well written songs and a good response after Gish (which I also love). For me, this is the peak of Pumpkings.
I like this album more than I thought I would. Good song writing and musicianship.
Great album! Love his voice, the emotion he is able to convey. Also, lots of familiar songs on this album. Its interesting that this time in song writing, many artist would cover each other songs and be very close in time. It was a different area of the music industry and this album takes advantage of that.
Love this album. Wish I was into Sonic Youth when I was younger. Many bangers on this one. How this album starts is just fantastic!
I never heard of Deerhunter before, I liked this album. They reminded of The National.
Really good album with lots of bangers. Not as good as IV or Physical Graffiti
Good album. Iconic sound of soul in the late 60's!
Decent album. Liked it more than I thought I would. Last half of the album is different from what I thought it would be.
Solid album. Reminds of Freddie Hubbard.
Not a big fan of this album. I like the Who and I know what they were trying to do, but this album didn't land for me. Kudos to the attempt, it was original but the music didn't grab me. I do love that this album is part of them. This album didn't hold my attention very wel.
Strong album with some great songs. This is the Clash that I remember.
Sound a lot like Delbert McClinton, maybe its the other way around... I liked it more than I thought.
Pretty mediocre album, not a lot of interest in this at all...
Love love love this album. The writing, the songs, the feel of these songs are such a strong pull to this time of music.
Good album. His country influence is on display in some of these songs.
Fantastic album. One of her best
The sounds of pop in the 70's
Great album!!!
Better than I remember. Songs have aged fairly well.
Love this album, not their best but still strong
Decent album, with a couple of bangers. One of Common's better albums for sure
Nothing special
This album enforces my dislike of the Beach Boys. Just not that interesting for me.
Good album with a couple of strong songs. A couple of peaks but mostly valleys on this one.
This album didn't grab me as much as I was hoping. Maybe as a fan of WTC, I was thinking this was something in that vein but it wasnt.
No idea who Pulp was. I really enjoyed this album. Kind of haunting vocals with interesting song writing. Good solid album!
I tried with this album. A few popular songs on here but they tend to miss with me. Allman Brothers is more my groove, not Lynyrd Skynyrd...
Just an ok album. Sounds like a lot of other albums in this time period.
Strong album from an innovative artist. Not all of her songs landed with me but the creativity really kept me wanting to listen to more.
This is a better Neil Young album than the others I've reviewed. The groove and feeling of this album is very strong within this time period. His voice is not whiny, which it tends to be in later albums.
Interesting album. Cool grooves and catchy hooks.
Just ok. Not enthusiastic about this album. While Bowie is very creative, I did not get this album.
Decent album. Good writing.
Banger of an album! Like a lot of albums of that time, lots of interludes that are a bit of a miss. Strong songs, great lyrics and absolute stellar beat!
Pretty solid album.
Good album, not there best but solid.
Better than I remembered. This was a big hit with my parents. Decent album.
This album was more interesting that I thought it was going to be. Neil Young's voice did not grate on my nerves. The writing and production of this album was solid.
I really didn't get this album... It was all over the place and couldn't really follow it.
I didn't like this album as much as I remembered. A couple of decent songs but as the album was more of a concept album, it thought it lacked consistency.
Didn't like this album then, didn't care for it now...
Solid album. Good songs, love live albums like this.
Solid album from a very creative artist.
This was a tough one to get through. This was definitely the sound of early Pink Floyd, the PF of the 60's. It was interesting but not something I would want to listen to again.
Just ok. Outside of 2-3 great songs...
One of the more creative and interesting albums I've heard in a while. I will be listening to this again!
I really liked this album. It was a Madonna's last strong entry into the dance world, or at least that I'm familiar with. Really like the electronic side of this album, good beats, nice writing and production.
Meh... One decent song, but that's about it on this one.
Solid album. Not their greatest but one of their better albums.
Decent album. A few good songs mixed in with ok songs. Nothing shattering here.
Solid 90's album! This album always reminds me of college radio in the late 80's and early 90's. It was a precursor of what was to come, which I loved.
Enjoyed this album more than I thought I would. Also, lots of beats here ended up The Chronic by Dre.
Oh Neil, you're writing is great but that is completely offset by your voice... Sorry, not sorry...
Yeah... That was an interesting album. There were times I really liked they groove but other times... just tough to listen to.
Love this album. Lots of great songs and the execution by the band is really something.
Solid album! I really liked the songwriting of it. Strong musicianship as well.
Meh... Just an absolute meh... Nothing memorable on this one...
Better than I thought it would be. I've never been a big Deep Purple fan but I see what fans like. A few decent songs, some bluesier than I would have expected but definitely a decent album.
This album grew on me the 2nd or 3rd time I listened to it. It was never bad, I thought it was boring. What I realized is that its a very subtle album. Its good for the background, but not their most inspiring album.
Decent album with one huge song.
I don't know what that was... Different sure, artistic yes.
What a beautifully dissonant album! From start to end, just a great sounding album.
I like this album more than I thought I would. Sounds a lot like INXS and other of that time and the remixes are solid.
Just ok, was hoping for better.
Not very good...
What an odd but interesting album. I enjoyed it but it was different in a good way
Love and Rockets recall here. Maybe some Big Audio Dynamite as well. Definitely in the same vein. Its ok. Definitely has that Brit pop feel of the late 80's...
What a great album! So much blues influence on this one.
Could only listen to two songs on this album.
Just an ok album.
Got to say that this is the best Beach Boys album. I really didn't like earlier albums, but this one resonated with me after listening to it a few times.
Decent album. I liked it.
This album didn't age as well. Good debut but after listening to it a few times, it doesn't hold up as well as some of his others.
Different for sure, but just average. This album didn't grab me.
Solid album! Lots of deep cuts, great electronic music of the late 80's!
Solid album. I liked it when it first came out... Before they took an even more interesting turn.
I never realized this album was the late 70's. I always associated it with the early to mid 80's. Really good album. Lots of good songs and even the average ones weren't bad.
Fantastic album. Well written, great blues rock album
Nope, not interesting at all...
Solid album from a solid band! Great writing and production on these albums. Love the sound and the feel of this album, a bit dark but a gorgeous sound!
Circle Jerks... Not my cup of tea... Wasn't horrible but I got through it.
Absolutely fantastic album! Strong from start to end. The less popular songs are my favorites. Such good writing.
Better than what I thought it would be. To me, this album sounded like what I think AM radio in the 70's sounded like.
Another fantastic album! From start to finish very strong. What I love about this album is that I can hear the future Zooropa album in some of the songs as well as earlier songs from Fire and Tree.
Just ok. A couple of decent songs but overall just average.
Average at best.
Good punk album. Enjoyed it!
Good songs but too many interludes.
Loved this album! Some catchy hooks mixed with some creative rapping.
Fantastic Album!
Just no...
A meditation more than an album. One of the greatest jazz albums of this time. The wall of sound on this album is really something to listen to.
This album, while very explicit, was pretty good. The overall, beats were solid and had a good groove. My expectations were low, it did over deliver.
Decent. Not my favorite Bob Marley album but it was pretty good. Some good songs. I've always liked the production of his album and how they are recorded. This one is well recorded and sounds great!
Solid album. Really enjoyed her voice. A lot of similarities to Dido, but just similarities. Beth Orton is definitely her own artis with a solid voice. I look forward to listening to more of her.
Not what I expected. There was a lot of good in this album. Loved the guitar playing. Way more bluesy than what I was expecting. This album takes a left turn a few times and goes into interesting places. Overall, I liked the album, cool writing, but too many left turns... Even for Funkadelic.
Fantastic album. The second album is a little odd, but in terms of a story arc its a beautiful album.
This album was a lot more of a cabaret sounding album that I was expecting. It was a nice change. Good artist that Ute Lemper was collaborating with.
One good song with several different versions. Outside of this, a good but average 90's dance album.
Just ok... Not a very deep album and very typical for the time.
I liked this album a lot more than I thought I would. Very catchy early 80's dance music. You can definitely hear the Human League in this.
Really good album. This band lays down such a great beat. Love this album, so much groove, which was fantastic!!!
Not a fan of this album at all...
The best Neil Young album. He voice isn't whinny yet. Great song writing.
To my surprise, I absolutely loved this album! The electronic beats of British dance music of the 80's is fantastic.
Meh... Just ok. Not great
Fantastic album from a legendary band. John Bohnam does something most drummers did not do until after him. He did more thank keep the beat, he played drums like Jimmy Page played guitar, which was to bring the rhythm to the foreground of the song.
Not a very good album. Did not mesh well at all. This was more of a jam band album than anything else.
Really enjoyed this album. I haven't listened to a lot of early REM, so I was pleasantly surprised by this one. There is a lot of hints of what is to come from them.
Meh...
Nope, not a Beach Boys fan. I could not really get into this album. I just don't get Brian Wilson.
Kind of a dreary album. It peaked my interest by sounding similar to The National and other bands in that vein. But it didn't keep my interest.
Solid album from Ray Charles. With the sounds of Hank Crawford and the band, its a fantastic view of the mid 50's blues with a big band.
Great Album! Love the writing.
Not bad, not great either. Aerosmith was still an a couple of albums from their prime. There were a couple of gems here but they were still seemingly forming their identity.
Some really good songs on this album.
Fantastic album, that remind me of high school. Great writing. While I don't love all of the songs, there are some that are absolute bangers.
Nope...
Fantastic album! One of the best hip hop albums of the 90's
No. Kind of boring 60's music.
I don't remember this album being that good but it is! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this album. During this time I was listening to a lot of Ludacris, and I loved that Atlanta sound!
Not a fan, however, the musicians on this album were phenomenal.
Kind of a cool album. Outside of their one big hit, there was a lot of decent house music. It was enjoyable for sure.
Kind of disappointed with this album. Not as good as their other album .
Absolute banger of an album! So many great songs on this album. From Nighttrain, Sweet Child O'Mine and Paradise City. Great writing and performing from the band as well.
What a hauntingly beautiful album! I've listened to another Nick Drake album a few months ago and found it just as beautiful.
Decent album, not their best. Still solid.
Yeah, nope. Very poppy 60's music with orchestra.
Great album. The 3 of them were absolutely amazing with this album. I really enjoyed the creativity on their interaction with each other.
I didn't know of this album previously. I liked it more than I thought I would. Decent, not great. Like the vibe, good song writing.
