The Visitors
ABBAi liked this album, will definitely listen to it again. i liked the difference in sound to their earlier stuff
i liked this album, will definitely listen to it again. i liked the difference in sound to their earlier stuff
this album sounds like a bunch of dudes who got high as kites and thought making an album would slap, but when they sobered up they didn’t realise it didn’t slap
this was a rough start, so overly repetitive and hated the lyrics
this has one of my favourite rolling stones songs on it; sway. i enjoy listening to this album
not normally into jazz but i thought this album had some cool beats and some cool melodies throughout. songs were a bit long for me but overall enjoyed it more than i thought i would
this album had some pretty good beats to it and i enjoyed it the blend of rap and rock, some of the songs had really cool guitar on them. wouldn’t normally listen to this but it definitely had some songs i would listen to again. (wanted to rate this 3.5)
easy listening, very groovy. had good drumbeats, good harmonies, nice trumpet
really enjoyed this album, his voice is so smooth and he has an incredible range. the arrangements were solid and the whole album flowed nicely (wanted to give 4.5)
there was some bits and pieces i liked about this album but the run time was just a bit too long for me (between 2.5 and 3)
a nice album to listen to while doing things around the house
had some really good songs on it and i liked the live sound
it was okay, had some songs i might listen to again
bit boring and depressing, didn’t like the register of their voices (wanted to give it a 1.5)
this was so boring it did not hold my interest or attention at all. there wasn’t one redeeming song
really boring and repetitive - felt like it was only on this list for inclusivity. every single song sounded the same, absolutely no variation at all definitely worth a zero stars for me, but have to give it one
it was a sad album but i liked it a lot (wanted to give it a 4.5)
this was boring and too long
harmonies were nice, didn’t mind the summer vibe
it was okay to listen to while doing stuff but wouldn’t listen to it again
some good songs but two hours was too long, definitely could have been cut down. billy’s voice can be really hard to listen to
really really enjoyed this (would have given 4.5)
didn’t like the last song on the album but other than that, didn’t love it didn’t hate it
none of the songs really stood out to me and they all sort of sounded the same. the album kept reminding me of something else which annoyed me
i liked this a lot (wanted to give it 3.5)
i enjoyed the second half more than the first half but it still sounded a bit bland and like it was missing something
wasn’t really my style but i guess it had some good beats
did not like this
didn't like this at all, i find that screaming to be very stressful to listen to wasn't so bad when they were singing normally but it wasn't very redeeming all the songs sounded the same - would have given this a 1.5 but am rounding it down
this was really boring
this was rubbish - couldn’t even get through every song without skipping. so bland and boring. just cos this guy was a beatle doesn’t make everything he does good
not my favourite album the talking heads have done but it was alright. the second half was better than the first and there were some good beats
one of the best albums ever and my favourite band i'd rate this 10 out of 5 if i could. not a single thing to hate
not sure what i was expecting considering it's one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time but i was slightly disappointed with it - i thought it was missing something. there were some good beats but also some of them were kind of repetitive
this album was a bit conflicting, sometimes i liked her voice and other times i found it really quite annoying. i also enjoyed some of the jazzy vibes of some songs but some of the songs were boring. i don't know if i need to listen to this album a couple more times or never again (either a 2 or a 2.5)
this sucked. it sounded like a bunch of meaningless sounds put together on a computer and it was way too repetitive - didn't/couldn't listen to a full song
this was okay, maybe slightly boring in parts but it was okay if you’re after 70’s easy listening on a sunday morning
i like this album
the guitar was really good, i liked it
this isn’t my thing so was a bit rough to get through
this was better than i thought it was going to be but it was still pretty bland
i hate bjork and i hated this beyond belief..... all the songs being between 5 and 10 minutes felt like a crime. this was by far the WORST thing i've had to endure on this list considering i couldn't even get through an entire song 0 stars is the only acceptable rating
a very solid album (wanted to give it 3.5)
better than i thought it was going to be but still kinda boring, probably wouldn’t listen to it again
this definitely had some catchy moments and i enjoyed listening to this but overall not that interesting
i have heard of elastica before but have never listened, i was pleasantly surprised. wanted to rate this a 3.5 but after a few more listens might upgrade to a 4
really enjoyed listening to this, will definitely listen again
i wanted to like it but i just couldn't get into it, it was too brooding for me
i didn’t mind the fuzzy sound but all the songs sounded the same to me and it got a bit boring after the first couple of songs
was better than i thought it was going to be but i still wouldn’t listen to it again
dark and gloomy, perfect for a rainy day which definitely made my listening experience better
this is a classic
never been a big fan of the beastie boys, i’ve never liked their vocals and it’s always felt sort of aggressive and too in your face for me
aside from take me out this is a forgettable album
i found the beats to be quite repetitive and the high pitched noises in the background of some of the songs drove me crazy
a very average 90’s album, didn’t love it didn’t hate it
i liked this album, will definitely listen to it again. i liked the difference in sound to their earlier stuff
not a big fan, don’t like his voice and it’s a bit heavy for me
not my favourite cure album but i always enjoy the dark moods of their earlier albums definitely got some good songs and great guitar sounds
struggled with his album, the songs felt like they went forever and i found the entire thing completely unimpressive
so boring
it’s a good live album and it is iconic but not sure if it’s good enough to be on this list…….. still enjoyable to listen to
this was bland and kind of a drag to get through
it was raining and grey this morning which definitely made this a good listen, very good vibes
moments when this could be more than okay but never quite gets there, no stand outs and definitely not into the weird spoken word “songs”
this album feels more consistent than their other albums, not all songs are a hit for me there is a lot of miss but you can’t deny the good songs are good
absolute banger, can’t say a single bad thing about it
this was okay there were some songs i didn’t mind but i can see why i’ve never heard of it before
it was okay, very 70’s sounding
i’ve never actually listened to this in full, only the hits but i enjoyed all the other songs a lot
this was really bad
i kept zoning out and when id zone back in, the same repetitive song was going on - this was unnecessarily long
this album is 4.5 for me i love the storytelling, absolute bangers
had heard some of these before but never the full thing, i really liked it i thought it was solid and tight sounding
i remember trying to listen to these guys a couple of times when i was a teenager and not being able to get into it. listening to it now is making me realise it was right up my alley but it’s not really my speed anymore. i still enjoyed this and still thought it was fun to listen to
i've wanted to listen to more blues albums so i thought this was a good one, needs the right vibe though
honestly................. this sucked so bad
like 2 or 3 good songs but this was honestly really boring and kinda depressing
a nice easy listening experience have heard this before but enjoyed it more this time
this had some bangers but was a tad repetitive
this was wsy too bowie-esque i hated it
5/5 looove this album
terrible album from a terrible person
obviously bright side is overrated but overall i didn’t mind the album, cliched for the time period but also had a sense of nostalgia and familiarity that i liked
getting through this album felt like trying to swim under water, it was way too repetitive
this was beyond shit - zero stars
good 60’s vibes, a lot of bangers and grace slicks voice and harmonies are amazing
this was so boring and i find her voice really irritating to listen to
this was so bloody shit, minus 10 stars
i liked this better than the other public enemy album but it went for way too long
a generic 70’s album with no stand outs
liked the other blue album way better this one wasn’t good at all
not really into instrumentals so i found this boring, you know what else i found boring? THE FIRST SONG BEING TWENTY MINUTES LONG!
i really like the pixies sound and although i don’t think this is their strongest album it was still fun to listen to
this was alright, a couple of good tracks but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to listen to this again which is disappointing cos i wanted to like this
heard this before years ago so i was familiar with about half of it and it was alright, some songs were hard to get through but the songs i liked i thought had a really cool sound
this has some bangers but wouldn’t really listen to the songs i don’t like
this was soooo cheesy and boring and went for ages
i get the appeal but, this was a bit boring way too many sad songs to listen to all at once
this album sounds like a bunch of dudes who got high as kites and thought making an album would slap, but when they sobered up they didn’t realise it didn’t slap
i found this one really hard to get through, obviously once in a lifetime is the stand out track but the rest didn’t really do much for me
found this really tedious and annoying
not a fan of rock operas so i found this a bit boring
obviously this is iconic but doesn’t really do a whole lot for me, the third side has always been my favourite and i normally just stick with that
a nice easy album to listen to 3.5
these days is a great song but the rest i could do without
even while i was listening to this, it was just forgettable
i actually didn’t mind this, there were 2 or 3 songs i didn’t love but the rest of them i enjoyed more than i thought
boring and unimpressive
i don’t really like michael jackson but you can’t deny the hits on this are pretty good, the in between songs however, not so much
there’s definitely a time and place for reggae but if i enjoyed it getting ready for work in the morning, i’ll enjoy it when the time is right
didn’t even finish listening to this, so repetitive
at first i thought, this was better than i thought it was going to be but i was rapidly proved wrong
this was dramatic and cheesy, take on me is a banger but the rest of the album didn’t hold up to that song
again, my favourite band of all time so 10/5 for me. i love the sound of what almost should be three solo albums and this is probably some of stevie’s finest work love love love
i didn’t hate this as much as i hated trafalgar but i still really did not enjoy this. a concept album about a made up ship? no thanks. especially not when it goes for over an hour
i haven’t listened to this album in years and i’m not sure it really holds up but i still find it oddly enjoyable
aside from sympathy for the devil, i found this kinda boring
not a fan of songs that feel never ending and there were quite a few on here. there was some enjoyable moments but overall didn’t love it didn’t hate it
never been a big fan of american punk and i don’t like henry rollins but i did like the sort of replacements sound to it
didn’t finish this, all the songs sounded the same
i understand neil peart is one of the greatest drummers of all time but i just didn’t like this and i didn’t like the vocals at all
having this on in the background was sort of okay but when i was actively listening to it, it sounded like one long song
i didn’t mind that 60’s sound to a couple of these songs but overall i thought it was very uninteresting
this was better than i thought it would be but the length was too much for me. i thought she has a nice voice and some of the songs were kind of catchy
i’ve always liked catch the sun cos it sort of sounds like a foo fighters song and i was hoping the rest of the album was going to have the same vibe but i was disappointed
this might be the most boring album i’ve had so far, so dated and does not stand the test of time ZERO STARS
what’s with all the long albums lately! but as someone who has a hard time with rap albums sounding the same throughout the whole thing, i thought this one had a bit more variety (although i hate little skits on an album)
starman is an okay song but this whole album is so overrated
the smiths definitely have some really good songs but none of them were on this album. can’t knock johnny marr’s guitar playing but morrissey is just so goddamn depressing
this was one of the roughest listens so far, not a fan of prog rock and i hated the weird medieval sound. the songs for 9 minutes and up were the most irritating to listen to and felt completely unnecessary
i can appreciate the talking heads/the strokes influences but i can’t get behind the songs 6+ and some of them were a real drag to get through
completely forgettable
i know i use the word "repetitive" a lot but there's really no other word for these types of albums..................... except for this one was cultish! that second song was so creepy - zero stars
slightly better than solo bjork but, it’s still bjork
short and punchy. a great, fun album
he’s just so depressing! much more palatable with johnny marr’s
way too shrill and the lack of instruments was boring, do not listen to while hungover
i don’t really have any thoughts on this, i feel quite indifferent. didn’t love it, didn’t hate it, wouldn’t care if i heard it again and i wouldn’t care if i didn’t
this is the worst thing i have ever listened to -50 stars
i enjoyed this it was nice and smooth and he has a really good voice - don’t know if i’ll listen to it again but i thought it was a really enjoyable listen
his most palatable album for me, i love like a rolling stone and majority of the songs are really strong
i enjoyed this more than i thought i would, she has a really nice voice and the songs were thoughtful and smooth
