not for me
I don’t like reggae. oh no! I hate it.
Didn't like it. It's not my thing. Nothing wrong with it. It just really isn't my thing.
i hate reggae
Look there is a time and place for Bob Marley. You have to be in the right mood for you to be complacent enough to even tolerate this. I think we can retire Bob from this list. He doesn’t need any more entries here.
Bob Marley wouldn’t get his toe amputated to save his life. Luckily he saved us from more Bob Marley songs.
eh… no offense but this sorta music just isn’t for me. the only part i remotely liked was at 1:39 on Waiting In Vain, where the usual reggae rhythm stops and it sounds different. other than that, all the songs sound the same, and i literally facepalmed when i heard the three little birds song, like this was where that comes from?? this generator needs to suggest better albums brah
Seems so old and irrelevant!
Great…
Look, Jamming is a good song, but I fucking cannot stand reggae, it does less for me than any other genre of music and this completely killed my vibe. It just ain't for me, I find it offensively boring and samey and tho I get the message behind it, I think its vapid and thoughtless.
Aucun mais aucun intérêt, on dirait la même toune pendant 37 min, heureusement que c'est un album court. J'imagine qu'il doit y avoir un quelconque intérêt historique qui m'échappe, mais musicalement je trouve ça nul.
I can’t stand Rasta culture or its music. Marley included. Weed isn’t a sacrament. Haile Selassie isn’t God. Get outta here.
Gave up after three tracks
Deuxième album de BM après 'Natty Dread' que j'avais détesté (1/5). Pareil pour cet album, les morceaux sont répétitifs et inintéressants. Je n'ai pas pu aller au bout, j'ai arrêté au bout de 3 morceaux. =>1/5
Strongly dislike Marley.
I just can't get through a Bob Marley record! The history, legacy, context, the lore around Bob and his activism and impact, all of that is much more interesting to me than the actual music. As it stands on its own, I just think it's boring and repetitive. Probably a different vibe if you got to see Bob play live but hanging out at home in the office, I got through six songs without realizing I was on a new track.
Si pero bleh
Ok I guess - if you like that kind of thing. Never really listened to any reggae. Got bored before the end - though did recognise a couple of songs.
not my thing
No
Reggae is trash. I wish I could rate this lower than 1 star.
innovative and culturally important. Wow!
Eyyy mon this shit sucks
An entire album of the same rhythm is not fun to listen to
Tinny drum roll, chugga ching chugga ching guitar bit, repeat ad nauseam. Yawn. I know I’m in the massive minority but I find listening to Bob Marley a thoroughly depressing experience. Just wish he’d lived a bit longer so there might at least be a bit more variety of dull songs in beach bars worldwide.
not for me; one reggae song is the same as the next . . .zzzzzzzzzzz. .. .
I use to think think the Beatles were the most overrated band out there. I take it back since there are actually a few songs I do enjoy by the Beatles. This guy, absolutely nothing I enjoy. It's the same song, the same sound over and over again. Even the weed doesn't help this shit. No more Marely. No more Reggae. I reserve my 1's for the worst of the worst. These guys are close, very close. Just a little over 1, but not much
siis hyvä viba mut en oo oikee reggae fani joten sillee taustamusana aamusta meni mut bussimatkalla oli pakko skippaa koska harmaa ja kylmä sää ei resonoinu tarpeeks tän kaa
Nah
Ich verabscheue Reggae. Ich werde das nicht hören.
This album put me off Bob Marley and reggae for a very long time. Not his finest 50 minutes, by any stretch. Just find the whole thing a bit thin, in terms of songs and energy. I know it was meant to be a toe in the water for the non-reggae audience, but it had the opposite effect on me. Bland.
Dear god I hate bob marley
Wow this was boring Every song consisted of a simplistic 6 second rhythm that looped the entire track without changing at all, while he sang over it. You hear one of his songs, you've heard em all
This is just Jimmy Buffet with soul, a little substance, and weed instead of booze. Embarrassingly overrated.
Damn, who knew that 3 minute songs can take so incredibly long. It's a very easy 1, but at the same time still much better (or less bad) than I had expected. Nonetheless, it's sooooooo boring. I didn't last 3 full songs.
I don't like reggae and this did not change that at all
I'm sure this is good as far as it goes, but I hate reggae, truly.
