No thank you

lol first impressions I was like yesss only 6 songs / 40 minutes I realllly did not like how it opened or closed. Just not my style. Reminds me a bit of video game background music and in the wrong mood (an irritable one) it would make me lose my mind. ESP The Robots and The Man Machine. after a second listen some of them grew on me. The Model was the standout but I liked Metropolis once words came into play.

Weird as fuck

If it was over 36 minutes, I don’t think I could have made it.

Couldn’t do it. Too robot-y. Not crazy about it but I didn’t really give it a chance. Not for me personally.

When someone says that they like kraftwerk, this is probably what theyre talking about. Its OK, heavy synth stuff and decent early electronica. 2/5

Better than Aotobahn, but that's.a pretty low bar,

I'd listen to this while gaming... If I was a gamer.

Sorry wasn’t feeling this. Kraft week is a band I feel like I should be in and just have not cracked.

Interesting, but not in my wheelhouse.

I don't like this kind of music, but it was interesting

Better than TransEurope Express, but the spotify radio shuffle after was much better

Calm down chaps, this is almost melodic.

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre was released 2 years earlier and sounds more impressive in my opinion. Däften Pünken over here are very keen on stretching a 2 minute song to 8 minutes for no particular reason. "Neon Lights" is some CIA torture shit. I felt like I'd just ran a marathon after it finally ended. The robot voices are incredibly cheesy as well. Somehow a snoozefest and a headache at the same time. "The Model" saves this from a 1/5 - I don't know why, but I enjoyed that one.

While more accessible than other Kraftwerk, I still found it a bit backgroundy.

notable for their place in history, not their music

Interesting early electronic sound. Definitely contains the DNA of a ton of music that comes afterwards but I don't know if I'd sit down and listen to this willingly

Lots of electronic sounds

Beep boop 10 stars

It's not really my bag, but I can see why it's on the list. Model is a great track

I give it a 2 because I hear the influence in a lot of songs I like. Can't imagine going to a Kraftwerk show.

Pretty weird. Decent to have on in the background while working though.

Ne znan zašto san uopće poslušala budući da mi se prvi album nije svidia. Ni ovaj mi se ne sviđa, al vidin poboljšanje u odnosu na prvi album pa evo 2/5

I'm so sorry but I still don't get Kraftwerk, it doesn't speak to me. I understand why others do but I am utterly unmoved and ambivalent by their music. Soz

Electronic music is definitively not my cup of tea...However, after listening to it over and over again on this list, I kinda see what makes this type of song important for the music history and concepts at all. At least, this album is not completely annoying

Splinky Splonky noises. Felt like I was in a video game.

Too electronic for me

I've never actually listened to this album in full from start to finish. It felt a little like a history lesson, rather than a pleasant experience. I know that I'm suppose to adore Kraftwerk. I can't even pronounce their name properly. But I find it all a little... soulless. Sorry.

niche. interesting at times. overall i felt bored

hehe funny robot beepy noises

Not really for me but can see how they became so influential in the dance/elctro music scene

First Listen. I'm sure this was better in 1978. It isn't too bad today too. Enjoyable. Standouts: The Model 2/5 for now.

While I recognize this band as one of the best of their genre, this style of music doesn't grab me at all. It is a short album that could easily be played in the background at a bar or restaurant, but I could not get into it using my full attention.

It's alright?

It flew by, and I don't remember a thing about it. So it can't have been actively bad. But also not good

“Only a curmudgeon could reject a group that synthesizes the innovations of Environments and David Seville & the Chipmunks.”

bland as fuck in majority of the album. the model is very funky and nostalgic though

Listen I get that it's pioneering and all that but I don't really care for it. At least it was over quick. 5/10.

2/5 not my cup of tea at all

Устарело

Probably pretty revolutionary for electronic music, but wasn’t for me.

I can get why this was innovative at the time - hasn’t aged well at all though

I can hear how influential they were to 80s music hence the 2

Крафтверк есть крафтверк, не моё это.

Half the tracks here would be decent background music for a Cyberpunk game. The other half don't really go anywhere and don't have much going for them.

Idk skimmed through

On the first tone I thought of disco but I think the lyrics are weird

Not my fave. But I can see other people digging it's grooves.

Bueno... A ver, ok. Mola mucho ver cómo muchos de sus recursos y señas identitarias viven en algunos de mis artistas de electrónica favorito. Pero es un disco que apenas disfruto, seguramente por la ausencia de dinámica relevante en las canciones y un tempo bajo. Meh.

Na didn't like

didn't like the first song, had to skip it before the first half, In general I didn't enjoy the sounds, 2/5

Highlights: Spacelab, The Motion Simplistic rhythms, early sci-fi synths, sequencers before sequencers existed. This is early electronic, meticulously and judiciously executed. Obviously, Kraftwerk laid the groundwork for acts such as Daft Punk and Devo to follow, but also served as inspiration for the 80's computer demo-scene composers such as Skaven and Purple Motion (and later Future Crew). The problem with reviewing electronic music is that what was state-of-the-art then sounds primitive and dated by today's standards. Does it hold up? I dunno...You could probably put a caveman's wheel on your modern car, but it might not get you as far.

“The Man Machine” by Kraftwerk (1978) Love that cover art—Oh, wait. The American version doesn’t have German band members dressed in uniform shirts and ties standing in formation facing to the right (which is their left) in militarized synchronization, close-coiffed hair, mock feminine makeup, and grim expression, all but shouting “S.A., S.A., S.A., . . . !” Wonder why. I love German music. I played Kraftwerk’s earlier “Autobahn” over and over in 1974, driving my roommate crazy. Synth pop, the early days. “The Man Machine” represents a slight evolution, but the mechanistic composition/technical flair, so impressive in 1978 doesn’t stand the test of time. This is one of the main reasons why albums that rely on tech for their appeal don’t have the enduring quality as music. They are easily and quickly surpassed. Unlyrics that have only an ambivalent tinge of the political (“Я твой слуга; Я твой работник”) become passé in ten short years. Minimoog riffs become passé in ten short months, and the overall listening experience becomes passé in ten short minutes. Pretty well fatal for a 36-minute album. Anyway, plowing through it, one finds occasional delights: the comic (to English ears) German tongue roll on the word “robots” (“The Robots”); sensitivity to tonal range in composition; accelerating scales and arpeggios evolving into complex chords (at the beginning of “Spacelab” and “Metropolis”); careful attention to phasing between instruments (no easy feat, especially in 1978). But the vocals are poor—and they should stick to German instead of attempting English (“but the Marketing Dept. says, . . . “ or “Aber die Marketing-Abteilung sagt, . . . “). No, boys, “Autobahn” worked precisely because the minimal lyrics were in German (I’m still singing „Wir fahren, fahren, auf der Autobahn“ in mein kopf.). This is background music for assembly line work. Feeling-crushing monotony. Cool. 2/5

Entiendo que fueron novedosos, pero es un tostón repetitivo. Envejece mal

A surprising amount of high pitched tinny electronic music. The Model is cool, but nothing here really excites me or makes me want to explore this style of electronic music.

not such a fan

I am grateful to them for giving us Daft Punk via their influence but I find this music SO BORING!!!

Kind of cool sounds, but pretty boring overall.

Would be better on drugs

It may be historically influential but it has not aged well and just sounds hokey now. The tracks that have aged the best IMO are not the bigger hits (e.g., The Robots, The Model) but Spacelab and Metropolis, which have a clear influence on later (and superior) acts.

For me this is definitely an acquired taste thing, and boy have I not acquired that taste yet. Perhaps someday, but as of now, I can give credit where credit is due. This guys probably pioneered the early elctro-music scene or whatever, but this was a struggle to get through.

these guys have put out some good work but you would have to be on some good acid to listen to this full album in one sittin

Forgot to save my notes. Spongebob chrome episode. Very robotic and old school futuristic. Kinda grew on me but was the first one that I wanted to skip

Ok but not my type so it's hard to tell..

Okay, but not my cup of tea.

robot..

2/10 - Couldn't get into this album at all. Three songs in and it's just repetitive and uninspired. Not completely lacking originality but there's nothing to grip onto

Heard this before. Has not dated well in my opinion. Quite a tedious listen only worth it for the sake of completion.

Far too electronic - not at all my cup of tea.

I would love to do some research into this album’s influence on techno music. Besides that, not for me.

It was ok, not the best craftwork collection in my opinion but still a decent listen if your into German electronic

noise pollution.

80s techno slop. I fully understand people who like the synth sound, I hate it. Some artists make sparing use of what's covered here and they only make it good because it's a novelty. They made meandering "audio space" stuff (a genre that's already a little difficult to listen to) sound robotic and mass produced. Of an era for sure, not worth listening to now.

I don't know when I would listen to these songs. I couldn't finish any one of these songs

techno cult type shit. not even mid tbh

Nothing special.

Muy raro, demasiado experimental. No me gustó.

I feel like I'm on Space Mountain.

Not for me

Don't like it.

Not for me

type shit co zrobis na garageband

Damals bestimmt wild. Heute naja...

I understand that this is pretty relevant and all and how it's themes are pretty ahead of its time. However, I don't think it was fun to listen to. Not my kind of beep boops ig Rating: 2/10 No Favorite song

Music for a low budget movie about wannabe hackers.

i understand its value as an influence and almost a premonition of the sound in electronic music, techno, synth pop and other derivatives, but as also happens to me with these genres, i cant find any connection with the music itself the songs keep adding and removing layers and playing with patterns and textures; again, i understand that this is the purpose of this work, to sound mechanical and artificial, but it seems to me that these machines are too far removed from the emotionality i expect in music so much repetition ans waiting for small variations makes it tedious to finish and difficult to enjoy, and my rating will reflect that

I hate it here. Maybe I don't appreciate this because technology has advanced now and a child could accidentally make this on the keyboard in their music classroom today. Electronic music must've been difficult to make back then. I acknowledge this is groundbreaking stuff. Just because you could, it doesn't mean you should. Dear lord how can something so revolutionary sound so drab? It was so dull.

Debe haber sido un viaje escuchar esto en 1970 y seguro que fue muy revolucionario, pero es muy dificil escucharlo entero, mismo es muy dificil escuchar una canción entera.

Malisimo

Muy robótico y futurista? It's not my cup of tea

This is the dumbest shit I have ever heard. How people get such a boner for this is beyond me.

I generally like electronic music but I stopped listening to this after 3 songs because I thought it was an annoying waste of time. I've tried listening to Kraftwerk on multiple occasions and this is always the outcome. Their sounds reminds you of just how fundamentally joyless Berlin and North Germany are as a whole. I think the word that sums my feelings on them is banal. I will never attempt to listen to Kraftwerk again.

Bored.

nottttt a fave.

Wow that was tedious!

Not bad. No solid bangers for me. But good music. Not enough songs. 1.75/6 54.01%

Really tried to like this one but just didn’t have it in me. I liked being reminded of playing an 8bit game but I sadly couldn’t put myself in the headspace without a controller in my hand.

Yuck! DNF Best Song: N/A Rating: 1.5/10 Stars: 1

Um, no.

Like listening to the background music from old video games.

I made some similar songs on garage band in 9th grade

I don’t take drugs so I guess I can’t appreciate electronica stuff. Just total rubbish

Neon Lights war ok. Was besseres kann ich nicht sagen.

The Model ist gut.

Not impressed

Not for me

absolutely not! soooo repetitive and pointless

Never heard of this guy or this album. Favorites: - Thoughts: Fuck this album too, this made me quit this thing for like a whole 2 months.

Beep boop, it's crap

not my cup of tea. weird electronic music.

I will always have beef with Kraftwerk. Don’t ask me why.

Movie soundtrack?

does the creator of this list think he deserves to live?

remember kids, you don't have to listen to shit music to fit in

Electronica is torture on my ears.

I’m sorry but I don’t get this type of music. Maybe I am to narrow in my music. Buuuut some beats where nice.

Hmmm linia melodică e prea liniștită și monotonă, didn’t like it

Experimental Dance from when synths were shit

It feels like I'm going insane at a dentists office.

Unlistenable

Didn't like this one unfortunately.

Not my vibe weird

Don't care for electronic music.

I only added one song (the model)only because I heard it before but other than that this album is not doing it for me.I mean it has its quirks and I guess I see this perhaps playing in a video game but I would not listen to this in my spare time,it low key has uncanny vibes eg if i heard robots in a horror game with that grainy ass quality I would kms on the spot because I would know the worst is coming my way.

What possessed you to make this 1st song - I have no words 2nd - not that bad ig but more movie sound track and not for me 3rd - again movie sound track not for me but better than the other 2 4th - spooky vibes I like this one 5th - video game music put this in Mario or Tetris asap but not for me 6th - sounds like he’s casting a spell on me the robots are taking over machine machine machine 1/6 ( the model )

1/5, it's something to someone, I'm sure, and it isn't hard on the ears at all times. I imagine it must have been groundbreaking for 1978. I imagine some electronica aficionados prize this album. But Holy Christ, was it boring to listen to. I will probably never play a single song on this album ever again. Weird yet inoffensive. Strange yet uninteresting. It's genuinely discouraging to think people bought this album after hearing it instead of something more melodically, harmonically, poetically accomplished, simply because of the novelty.

Never heard of it before.

a little too out there for my liking

I don’t get it

Boring

YGBFKMWTS! 1

First listen Saved 1/6 Top track: Neon Lights

no thanks

Art deco electro from the 70s very repetative

Some of the beats were good but it's just really not for me. "The Robots" - Funky. Literally went OH when they started speaking. I hear the robot. Beat was good, but just kept repeating "we are the robots." "Spacelab" - I guess the beat was interesting but I did not like it. "Metropolis" - I really don't like this. "The Model" - I just really don't like the sound. "Neon Lights" - No. "The Man Machine" - No.

I cant listen to Kraftwerk anymore with thinking of the syntheziser scene with Ross performing his sound "poems" on Friends Groundbreaking at the time for sure, but in 2025, it just doesn't hit the same

With the recent influx of ai music this missed the mark.

ufo music ass album

More bad stuff on the list that is s'pose to be music.

Beeps and boops. Sounds so dated, just not a fan at all.

Moins pire que l'autre mais affreux quand même

Robot 'music' good for elevators and grocery stores

This album was a choice.

Not into it

Boooooooorrrrrriiiiiing

I read the title of the first song and cringed a bit. The Robots? Really? Bryan Johnson probably patented headphones that play this album to his adult son Talmage’s penis while he sleeps. I’m out.

Oh God. No. Too much synth.

Just more annoying european electronic music. Stupid robot voices and weird bleeps and bloops. I hate this kind of “music” if you can even call it that. It’s just sounds.

Thought I’d like this a lot more!

não gostei muito, muito conceitual eletrônico pra mim.

I get that it was ahead of its time and dead influential or whatever, but that was absolute fucking wank

I'm not gonna listen to kraftwerk sorry

Not my genre, picked a few songs I liked but just can’t get into techno

Deathly boring, so sorry for those who enjoy

Horrible

This was groundbreaking at the time but quite tortuous to listen too for me!

I just can't with Kraftwerk.... never have been able to. Sounds like a video game machine taken over by aliens

first album i've wanted to turn off. 1/5

naaaaaaah

Not for me

this is my worst nightmare genuinely does not get worse than this abomination towards music

Oh my god, this is like a Giorgio Moroder score with robot voices singing silly lyrics. And in Russian too. These German cats were interested in making music that bridged the sides of the Cold War. Warsaw Pact or NATO, you can listen to this crappy electronic music. This is far from the worst album I've heard though which I think tells you everything you need to know about this project. It wears on you though. I guess I have to give them a pass for the lyrics since their primary language is German, but the repetitive electronic music is mind numbing. The Man Machine feels more like something someone made so that 80s rappers would sample it rather than an actual song anyone wanted to listen to.

I did Not Like this. Repetitive, boring and nothing Special.

Just don’t know what to say. Didn’t care for it.

It made me feel like I worked long hours for low pay in factory that produced lousy music.

it my favourite, i listened semi intentionally it was being in the stomach of a robot, whirring and slightly jarring sonic i think that’s what they were going for it wasn’t bad but just 100% not for me, something i would pretend to like when i was 16 to impress a boy that really couldn’t care less

Early synth

Not my thing

I legit have no idea anyone finds any enjoyment out of this.

3 stars because...

I'm sure this was a pioneering sound in the 70s.

There is not one element here that I enjoy. I have said it is hard to get a one out of me- but this one certainly earned it.

I mean, seminal, but in the same way that milking a bull is: not something I particularly feel the need to experience first hand.

Nope. Just....nope.

Really wasn’t for me

Yeah, no thanks.

Daft punk minus 30 years. Hard listen, hard pass

How is there another one?!?

That was far worse than I’d expected. Got nothing for me.

Not good

Boring

Bloody awful- only reason it’s not getting a 0.1 is because I think it inspired/ reminded me of robots by flight of the conchords Specific rating - 0.4 Fav song - man machine Least fav- space lab

Revolutionary for its time. A waste of mine. Not my least favourite kraftwerk album but I still won't be listening again. Favourite: The first three minutes of Neon Lights Least: The Man Machine (the song... but also the album) or the last five minutes of Neon Lights

beep bop this is shit i understand that it was probably fire when it came out but it really didnt stand the test of time for me

Weird techno, not for me.

So bludclaating boring . It’s just like who would choose to go oh yeah I’m really feeling an even shitter version of daft punk . Horrid . Please never give me an album like that like ever again please

An actual robot could do better.

To quote some dumbass reviewer “a bunch of German weirdos singing in robot voices about space lasers”. It’s repetitive and unlistenable and I hated every second of it. Ts ass ☹️👎

This album sounds like I’ve been stuck on hold with HSBC customer service for 36 minutes.

Maktet bare høre to sanger

Not my cup of tea. Seems very repetitive and dull

Might have been revolutionary, but decades of progress have marched far beyond. A lot of jarring sounds, I wasn't comfortable listening to this and I love a lot of EDM.

Wtf is this. To repetitive

Nope. Never again.

Electronica

Just not for me

Hits me like a movie soundtrack to a 90's dystopian scifi story.

Ass. Why would someone listen to this. The model isn’t bad tho. It’s a shame cuz I like his voice but he barely fucking sings

not my cup of tea. can’t really find much to praise. it probably sounded sick in 1978 but now it sounds like a baby using its first synthesizer. fav track: the model

Come on give me something good

Boring and repetitive, group chants of their unimaginative song titles. Innovative for the time but dull in retrospect

Blah. I mean… SOOOOO INFLUENTIAL!! PIONEERING MUSIC!! AGAINST THE GRAIN!! DARING TO DARE!! PAVED THE WAY FOR FUTURE BRAVE MUSICIANS WHO ALSO STROVE TO VENTURE AWAY FROM THE STATUS QUO!! In other words… meh. What even was this? Oh well. I’ll forget about it tomorrow.

a n s t r e n g e n d

German industrial electronic music. It's well done, but not really my thing. Also very repetitive. Each track is also much longer than it needs to be. I'll pass. Best song: The Model

Did not like this is not my genre

There’s so many good albums out there, why is this one on the list?

Bad with a capital B

I gave this three songs to make me interested, and it failed. It felt like I was in a grimy underground European swingers club where everybody is wearing masks. I think that's the vibe they were going for? Not the worst music I've ever heard, but I was not a fan

I am sure this was a cool experiment into electronic music at the time but this has aged terribly. Very dull and repetitive not worth a listen any more and surprised this made it as a best album.

If someone knows this album, they probably have eclectic taste, and listen to better electronic music. If this is someone's favorite album: run. This sounds like what groove-allergic straight edges think future music will be like, only less fun.

What am I supposed to hear? Sure maybe it was made before it’s time but it’s just not it. Update. Ok maybe I judged it a bit too soon, but still it’s just, it just doesn’t hit.

eh, not my thing

I just find this stuff cold and uninspired.

Crapwerk. That is all.

Not the worst music I've ever heard, but if given the choice I would never voluntarily listen to this again. It's not my thing.

Shitty video game music

No offense, but to my ears Kraftwerk just sounds like child's play. Everything about, the themes, the sounds, the art, it just seems silly. Which wouldn't be a knock against them if that's what they were going for, but all signs point to them taking themselves seriously. Which, like Jean-Michel Jarre, is just maximum corny.

A very long 36 minutes. Just extremely repetitive. It's trying to be an interesting concept album but in reality it's pretty dull.

Not for me.

Not my cup of tea

01101110 01101111 01110100 00100000 01100111 01101111 01101111 01100100

Headache inducing 1 ⭐️

what the hell was that?

I thoroughly hated this.

there are two good pieces on this, and thats being generous

God was this album annoying

They put on these electronica albums. I listen in the vain hope of getting something interesting. Nope.

Required listening, essential listening whatever the fuck you wanna call it. This album is not that. I can accept that maybe this is good music, definitely not my cup of tea, but maybe it’s good to someone. But when you say essential I’m thinking that I’m missing out on soemthung if I don’t listen to it. I COULD GET THE SAME EXPERIENCE BY PLAYING GEOMETRY DASH FOR 30 MINUTES. Actually it’d probably be more enjoyable AND I SUCK AT GEOMETRY DASH. If this album was any longer I might’ve just stopped listening. Sure it’s some okay sounds but ESSENTIAL??? Fuck off

Probably cool back then but boring now

Album 485 of 1001 The Man Machine - Kraftwerk Rating : 1 / 5 This genre just isn’t for me at all — cold, electronic, and nothing I can really latch onto. I respect their influence on music history, but as a listening experience, it gave me nothing.

boring electronica that is worse than everything that came after it but I guess you don't get Name of the Game or Breathe without it so its important

Dreadful. What in the world possessed them to make this album? How did it make the list? Do people really like this? Is more of this bullshot headed my way if I continue? So many questions. I'm not sure I can go on.. Tell my family I love them and tell Kraftwek they suck eggs.

Not for me

Not for me at all.

I feel like I'm stuck in an old video game. Not for me. DNF.

Straight ass.

alien music

could i write poetry to this? n

Just not my cup of tea.

Not my favorite thank you.

This might be the beginning of techno music, but it’s not standing the test of time.

Prima poco significativa. La seconda più carina Le altre meh. Album bruttino , particolare ma insignificante

Didn’t like it

Bad 80's background synth.

I try to be positive on here. So I’ll keep this short. Not my favorite.

It's not music to me when people are simply manipulating synthesizers and other machinery in random, discordant ways.

Not at all interested in this type of music.

Not at all for me, and to be honest I really don't see how other people are into this either. It sounds like a shitty soundtrack from a futuristic 80's movie. If that's your thing cool, but again it's not for me.

Hated it. DNF. Do not recommend.

Not for me

Who thought this was a good idea?

Not my genre but it’s interesting that the titles literally match the sound. Not sure if hip-hop sampled from this or dissembled from hip-hop but the last song is a staple. Also heard a millisecond of a snippet of that Nicki Minaj, dungeon, dragon song.

Not a fan of this album. I was initially excited going into this listen because I know how influential Kraftwerk are, but damn I feel like this album is stuck in its era. It does not age well with the rest of the electronic landscape. It sounds like music from an 80s nerd sci-fi B movie. I was able to hear glimpses of inspired artist, but this was a tough listen overall. The last song The Man Machine was maybe the only kinda standout. The Model stands out in a bad way for me.

Techno trash

Painfully bad

Ross Geller with a keyboard vibes

way too repetitive for me, not interesting.

I can appreciate how innovative this must have been in 1978. But I hate it. It sounds like a less shitty version of songs I used to play on my electronic Casio keyboard. I never need to listen to this again.

not for me.

Not my cup of tea

Can hear their influence on so many things to follow but just this is so very not for me

1. the robotz - 0 2. zpacelab - 0 3. metropoliz - 0 4. the model - 0 5. neon lightz - 0 6. the man machine - 0

Electronic music.

I had never heard of this album before. It was quite a struggle to get through. Definitely not my type of music, too repetitive with some unpleasant sounds throughout. I love lyricism, which is definitely missing.

Pretty boring and repetitive.

I wasn't a big fan.

An album that has aged in the worst way possible. Everything from the production to vocal effects of this album are very much stuck firmly in the 70’s and in a way that has not achieved the timeless sound of several other vintage albums. Listening to this music seems like listening to the draft of a collection of 70’s computers sound effects. I’ve been told I have to appreciate this album ‘for what it is’ which is not something I expect to have to do from a list of only 1001 albums everybody should hear before they die. I see how production-heads and vintage video game nerds would be all over this track but in my opinion it has not held up at all.

- finally something weird - instrumental, techno, robotic music, even machines singing - this is kinda trash though - some of the production isn’t bad but it’s goofy - better when he doesn’t “sing”…

I'll take others' word for it that it's seminal and influential for a lot of things I've enjoyed since it was released, but no thank you never again

I thoroughly did not enjoy listening to this album. Most of the tracks felt corny AF and just overall not a fun experience to listen to. – HOWEVER I do appreciate why Kraftwerk was so influential and groundbreaking at the time, so this critique is solely subjective, nearly 50 years after the album came out. I still stand by the statement that these tracks do not hold up against the test of time.

i'm never gonna listen to german elctro music man

so many beeps and boops I'm not happy about it

Terrible

Not super impressed with the album, it was pretty bland

Sounds like a sci-fi movie soundtrack. Ahead of its time in style, probably surprised a lot of listeners in ‘78.

SYNOPSIS: Genuinely very hard to listen to. Feels like a very poor mashup of techno and rock in a way? I don't understand as it still doesn't sound good even if you take it as techno or rock on their own. TOP TRACKS: None, all bad FINAL RATING: 1/10

after 2 one-star reviews, will the 3rd kraftwerk album change my mind? no

Pretty annoying

thanks I hate it

I don’t like Kraftwerk.

Lot’s of robot voice

Very dated.

I get it you like to pretend to be robots. This album was probably composed wearing cardboard boxes and dryer vents

Hated every second.

Lyrics on par with the writing skills of a 10 year old, music sounds like a bunch of loops on garage band and it was unimaginably boring, I can't tell you what to do but I recommend you don't waste your time I don't listen to it.
