I'm sorry man, I just don't get it

I just can't do Björk. I do not get how this album has a 3.42 star global rating. I hate all things electronica and Dimery's fascination with the genre constantly frustrates me. Her voice just annoys me and it isn't even bolstered by that impactful of lyrics. The shrieking just makes me want to turn it off the entire time. The vocals are horrendous and the music is just as mediocre barring a couple small shining moments. This just fits what I need for an album to get a 1 star rating. I wanted to turn it off the entire time. I was tempted to bump it up to a 2 for the importance, but I just can't betray the pain my ears went through for the last 48 and a half minutes.

Sometimes pretty cool and other times sounds like a 5-years old was giving an old casio synthesizer to do some random stuff on, was really hoping it would finish after the first song but unfortunately got more songs after that

Niby cos nowego, ale jednak jedno wielkie deja vu, bo jest to kolejny popowo taneczny krazek z lat 90, tym razem roznica jest jego egzotycznosc, bo jak nazwa wskazuje Debut jest pierwszym studyjnym krazkiem w dyskografii pani Björk, ktorej pseudonim wskazuje na egzotyczne pochodzenie, w tym przypadku chodzi o islandie, plyta z 93 jest wszystkim czym moze byc debiutancki material mlodej artystki chcacej zawojowac swiat swoja muzyka, wiec utwory przepelnione szczesciem i wylewajaca sie z niej miloscia, zroznicowane od akustycznych ballad jak like someone in love po ubga bugowe rytmy parkietowe jak na big time sensuality, dodatkowo jest to az 48 minut rozwleczone do granic mozliwosci przez 10 sesyjnych muzykow bioracych udzial w nagraniach, sama pani Björk jest zlistowana jako operatorka klawiszowo synthowa no i wokalistka, a rowniez jako wrajterka lub ko wrajterka liryczna, ale cos tak mialkiego i nie przekazujacego nic poza tym, ze ktos planowal sprzedac dobrze nowa egzotyczna gwiazde w europie, czy raczej w jukeju, bo tamten rynek muzyczny byl docelowym targetem, no i z tamtych stron ludzie biora udzial w nagraniach, technicznie i muzycznie, na plejke nie mam nic, bo material wypala uszy swoja nijakoscia, spiewane przez kogos, ale nie da sie uslyszec kogo

This is my third bjork album now and I am getting really tired of hearing them. I have no idea why they are on this list once, let alone three of them. Hopefully there's not a fourth. No recognized songs

There's more life than this beautifully sums up this album which is a discordant mess. Terrible voice. Weird. 1 star. Fucking terrible album
