Look, I get it. When you're alone with that special someone, maybe you don't want to be jolted by weird chords, avant-garde arrangements or atonal guitar solos. Maybe what you want is something smooooooth. But in the cold light of day, it's a different story. That same devotion to keeping everything smooth is this album's downfall. The musicianship here is world-class and Gaye is an excellent singer, but the musically risk-averse material doesn't exactly cry out for repeated listenings.

A classic voice that I have heard many times. The music is good but not an everyday listen to me. Mostly because of the genre. Its not often I want to listen to this kind of music in my day to day life.

Wasn‘t my music

It’s ok

Really wanted to love this one, but the title track is in its own league.

Iconic but annoyingly repetitive. One long song of desperation. How many ways can you say the same thing? For Marvin Gaye, it appears to be about three. 2/5

It's not bad, but it's overtly sexual. It reminds me of that creepy uncle in some families that has lots of mistresses, kids outside of the family, and 13 year old girls shouldn't be left alone with him just in case. Best tracks: Let's Get It On Just To Keep You Satisfied 2/5

All sounds the same to me - never listened enough to his music to notice how erotic every song is

This has artistic merit but it's not my thing

This was disappointing. A lot of the songs sounded the same and not in a good way. I felt that this was a bit safe, a bit meh and a bit pretentious. There is much better Marvin Gaye stuff out there.

Great opener - stayed one note. He's great. Album is fine.

meh- I don't get it. mid vocals, repeating melodies & instrumentals. outdated, misogynistic lyrics.

Pretty much what you expect. Great voice though very repetitive in sound and theme.

Not my thing. 2/5 stars.

One all time great song and a bunch of elevator music filler.

I obviously don't have soul because this leaves me cold

You have to admire the man’s dedication to getting it on, first Let’s Get it On and then later Keep Gettin’ it On, and everything between, this is far too sensual for my tastes. To his credit, this is only just over half an hour so didn’t drag on. Not for me really, What’s Going On is a good song and something a bit more political would float my boat a bit more, I expect that album is on the list somewhere.

Let's get it off; this isn't my thing. Heard before ❌️ Listened this time ✅️ (in part) Revisit ❌️ Not interested ★★☆☆☆

Decent enough but nothing standout beyond the title track.

Title track is a classic. The other seven are middling. And he knows it; otherwise, one of them wouldn't be a refrain of the title track. Given this dynamic, this really is more of an EP than a full album - and a weak one, at that.

I don’t really buy into it when these albums have one major song, and the rest is just filler. I’ve never really cared for “Let’s get it on”, and the rest didn’t change my perspective.

Rating: 5/10 Meh.

Starts off with a total banger, Lets Get It On. Then a couple solid tracks. And then Keep Gettin It On just kills the flow, and the rest of the album is just ok. It's mostly the same song again and again. Best song: Lets Get It On

Meh. Sexy-time music. And not even great at that.

Thought I’d like it more

The musicianship is excellent, an undeniable voice, and an incredible opening track. So good they reprised it on track 4 with an equally good (better??) version. However, literally everything else on the album doesn't do anything for me - to the point of boredom. I've listened through 3 times, and will probably listen again, but I just can get excited about anything but the title track and it's reprise.

not my vibe, 2 stars cause the opening song is iconic

Passed me by a bit, much preferred his other albums.

I tried, I really did. And Marvin’s undoubtedly got a great voice, and the opening title track is a stone cold classic. But after that, I found it impossible to listen without switching off and drifting away. Even if I’d been earning £1 for every time I heard the phrase ‘get (or getting) it on’ I don’t think I could have stayed focused. Maybe that’s a good thing but it’s all a bit samey from one track to the next. Lush strings, amazing vocals, but I couldn’t help feeling I was giving sugar lumps to a one trick pony. Which is a shame, because the first track Spotify grew up when the album finished was What’s Going On which shows a much different (better?) side to Mr Gaye.

I wanted to love this, truly. Marvin’s smoky voice and troubled soul made him an icon but these “sexy toons” just left me cold. 30 odd minutes of it left me feeling dirty and not in a good way. It sounds sleazy rather than sensual; the type of LP men would slide on to ‘impress the ladies’. The songwriting is lame, the production overblown. It’s no rightful heir or What’s Goin On.

Meh. This didn’t really do it for me. The choice of tom pitch on one song was distracting. Felt like the album was the same song the whole time.

Honestly, Let's get it on is one of my least favorite songs ever. Not sure why but just the start of it drives me nuts. Marvin is talented, no doubt about that.

I don't find this music particularly interesting.

Didn’t like this one as much. I don’t think it aged as well - the music sounds dated. Didn’t feel as alive. Seemed a simple appeal to sex, without meaning.

Famously good for sex music, and it's pleasant for sure, but it's not really my kind of music for normal listening.

Better than expected. Very much of its time.

One hit wonder. I didn’t know he had an album and now I know why.

Didn't find it particularly interesting, but I suppose if you're actively humping it might fit the mood.

Not something I'd choose to listen to - fine as background music? Some weird songs

Album was pretty good. Instrumentals were nice and his voice is great. All songs were pretty similar in subject matter and sound. Project was only 31 minutes but seemed way longer. Not my cup of tea. 2.5/5

🍆 obviously he's a great singer but it just doesn't do much for me; very repetitive. good for background music but not much else

Hilarious album. Has there ever been an album as solely dedicated to fuckin as this one? I did not know we were getting a sequel to “Let’s get it on” 3 songs after the original but I’m glad we did. Also enjoyed “you sure love to ball”. PS - the site messed up my last review by pasting in my review of that R&B album. My thoughts are pretty similar to Mits FM though, but a little more tepid on the album in general. 10th ave freeze-out definitely the highlight

2.5 Lets get it on is such a banger, there are two versions of it on the album. I will say as a 40 year old man with a toddler, a wife and a busy household, I cannot relate to this album one bit......

I really wish I liked soul more. :(

Let's Get It On, another soul album with the title track hitting lead-off. What an incredible song. You can not listen to this song and not feel like getting it on. Teddy Pendergrass heard Please Don't Stay (Once You Go Away) and knew he'd be a star one day. Why do all of his albums have full tracks that amount to the codas for extended cuts of the big hits. It feels like the creativity of 60s Motown Soul with a more pop sensibility loses something in the 70s albums. Distant Lover is a great song...unfortunately the best version is widely known not to be the album version but the live version from the Oakland Coliseum. Marvin Gaye is overrated. I love soul music and Marvin Gaye produced some of my favorite jams of all time, but his two most critically acclaimed records have some hits and a lot of mediocre or worse filler. You Sure Love to Ball was a single? It's a little on the nose, even for someone who sided with Jodeci in the Jodeci vs. Boys II Men debate. One hit, one good song done better live and mediocrity or worse after.

The definition of background music - this album just doesn't do anything for me. Snoozy rythyms, sleazy lyrics; didn't really need every track to be just how horny this dude is. Favourite tracks: Added to playlist: Rating: 2 stars, it's not painful but I'll not listen to this again.

1. "Let's Get It On" 3,3 2. "Please Don’t Stay (Once You Go Away)" 3 3. "If I Should Die Tonight" 2,2 4. "Keep Gettin' It On" 2,8 1. "Come Get to This" 2 2. "Distant Lover" 2,4 3. "You Sure Love to Ball" 1,8 4. "Just to Keep You Satisfied" 1,6 Average 2,39

works as background music

Look, I get that Marvin Gaye is a legend. But a full album of slow-burning love ballads just isn’t for me. It’s basically 30 minutes of bedroom music, and that’s being generous with the variety. Every track feels like it’s stuck in the same mood, and after a while, it all blends together. That said, I’ll give Marvin credit for keeping it short. He got in, whispered sweet nothings, and got out. For the short runtime alone, I’ll bump it up a star. Favorite Song: Let's Get It On Least Favorite Song: You Sure Love To Ball

Not favorite

Eh, got bored

I enjoy some Motown - but this was just boring.

I failed to understand the appeal

I really wanted to like this more than I did. Don't get me wrong, the title track is absolutely iconic, but I didn't find there to be enough stylistic variation on this album. A lot of the songs seem to bleed into each other. From reading a bit about the album, I can really appreciate what it meant to Marvin, but it just really didn't do anything for me. Fav tracks: Let's Get It On, If I Should Die Tonight

1. get it on - 1.5 2. ztay - 1 3. tonight - 1.5 4. keep - 0 5. come - 1.5 6. lover - 1.5 7. ball - 1 8. zatizfied - 1.5

31 minutter. Awesome! sindssyg åbner. Getting it on er også fint.

After listening I have 6 children on the way

Marking it down because second to last track has a lot of heavy breathing which is just a bit on the nose for a baby making album.

ok but too slow for me

Not my cup of tea.

This guy can sing and the songs are surprisingly catchy. High 2.

Sweet love making music...

Was really looking forward to this, but was disappointed. Too much disco and not enough soul?

Maybe just not in the mood for this but it didn’t do much for me

Perhaps I am the most out-of-touch person in the world, but I don't understand what is so "sexy" about this album?? I understand it is very sex-oriented of course, but are you people really getting bricked up just listening to this thing? Like you could put it on in the background while you're boning I guess and it would fit but then again I personally wouldn't want to have some black guy moaning in my ear while I'm laying pipe but again that's just me to each his own. Anyway these tracks are very thick, full, dense, or whatever. And he's definitely an interesting fellow. But I can't see myself listening this again. Well, maybe that's just because I'll never get any.

As I was driving to get groceries, I found out there could be a wrong time to listen to an album. “Let’s Get It On” might be the first album I’ve ever heard that seems to be a strictly bedroom only listen. It was soulful and enticing, and if I hadn’t been trying to get food for the family, I might have paid attention to the words more and really become hot and bothered. It wasn’t the album for me though, as it was a little too seductive and slow for me to listen to for the 30ish minutes it runs for.

While there’s no denying that this is a classic album with a significant place in music history, this will likely be the last time I listen to it. The music simply doesn’t resonate with me. I’ve never been a fan of Marvin Gaye, and “Let’s Get It On” is overplayed in movies and TV commercials. I can appreciate how groundbreaking it must have been when it first came out, but for me, it feels like it has reached its expiration date, much like sour milk.

Man's got a nice voice, but not really my genre

Wished every song was the last.

Starts out strong, gradually fades until the songs become filler by the end of the album. Worthy effort, comes in at (2.4*s)

Marvin has a signature sound for sure but I'm not that into Motown. I also never realized every single one of his songs is about the same thing, broaden the subject matter man. This album is smooth but you have to be in the right place at the right time to really appreciate it. Some good funk influence on here but overall too horny and too doo-wop.

Marvin was a bit horned up making this album. Certainly set a tone for introducing sex in songs more which did not slow down after this album's release. Title track is best, then it just runs on with the same wooing of a woman. I do like the last song as it hits home with those who have moved on fromntough relationships...2.45.

No doubt Marvin Gaye is a great vocalist. The first song is iconic for so many reasons, but I really didn't need the additional 25 minutes of this album. It's fine for a single listen but I'll never listen to this again. I'm sure it was a big deal at the time. Kinda cool that Marvin made an entire about fucking though I guess. 2.15 stars

I didn't hate the album but it's not something I would listen to again.

Let's get it off. Cheesy and a bit sleazy, I much prefer his sixties stuff. 'Come Get To This' is a rare highlight here, and that is mostly due to the prominent drums.

It was smooth. It was fine. But, other than Let's Get it On, nothing really stood out as particularly interesting to me, so I think the chances I'll put this album on again are low.

Honestly I was a little disappointed by this one. It's not bad, but it's not my jam.

I’ve never heard, or been cognizant of hearing maybe, another Marvin Gaye song other than the title track of this album. He’s an immense singer and this album is the soundtrack to many a disappointing and comically short sexual encounter, but I just can’t really get in to it. Purely subjective; I can only take so many love songs of this style without them all blending in to each other. I couldn’t help but think that it must be so frustrating to be the rhythm section of the band. I can feel it at the end of the Please Don’t Stay where the drummer tries desperately to escape the 4/4 with some speed and it’s pulled off well. The bassist meanders too when they can, which is nice. Completely unrelated, I laughed out loud at the now ubiquitous sensual deep breathing woman sample in “You Sure Love To Ball”, but that ultimately was my favorite track because of the key shift in the chorus. Theres a great cut of a Mike Jones album which consists of just the times he says “Mike Jones”. It’s several minutes long. I think someone should make a “baby” version of this album.

This album was brilliant - in being very short. Won't need to listen to it again

Oh it's about to get sexy. Reading about Marvin Gaye and this album actually presents a sad story. Apparently, Marvin's father abused him and was very strict with him religiously as a child causing him to be impotent later in life and have sadomasochistic dreams. This album was a way for Marvin Gaye to escape that, to explore his spirituality through sexual healing. Anyone who listens to this without knowing that would probably just see Marvin Gaye as a sex-crazed musician who wanted to make people fuck. Knowing that Gaye is sexually healing through this album gives it a whole new meaning. Unfortunately, this is just not my kind of music. Let's Get It On is good but the rest bored me.

Not into any track on the album. (I did listen to 'em all!) It's just background music, at best. A lowly 2 star

A few classic songs

mostly "baby baby baby, ohhhhhh, uhhhhhh"

As an asexual, this did nothing for me.

Title cut is okay. Rest of album sounds repetitive

Wow. What a horny album. I should have known from the title track, the only memorable song in the album. Still funky as hell though.

alter Soul(?)

One good song

Very nice production, but even after 4 listens, it didn't set me alight. Favourite tracks: Let's Get It On, Keep Getting' It On.

Marvin Gaye’s voice is beautiful. But after the first banger of a song it’s just variations on a (not that impressive) theme. He’s horny and wants sex. That’s about it. Still love “Let’s Get It On” but I will never listen to these other songs let alone the album. 2/5

This album is fine to me. Personally the soul jazzy vibe isn't my style, but I can see how others would find this to be such an incredible album. Obviously Let's Get It On is a fantastic song that holds up after 50 years, but everything else sounds the same but just a bit worse.

No not my music. The first song was good but then it just kept on going to sound the same.

Not a lot of standout tracks for me

fritzl's favorite album

Soul from the early 70's

It's been part of pop culture so long, it feels cheesy.

Some great tracks, especially the title track, but just gets repetitive.... Too much sexyness!

Weirdly Eh Nothing wrong, everything works, but not for me

Smoooooooth. But once you've heard three songs you've heard them all.

Not that interesting.

Didn’t realise I knew a track from it, now I know the source! Not my sort of genre though.

Maybe it just got overplayed for me on every show and movie, I just wasn't feeling it.

Was slow not looking for any more of this music

Every song is the same.

Had it on as background music at work. Nothing grabbed me enough to care. I honestly don’t remember anything about it other than the title opener. Think I need to re-listen.

gut, aber biz too sexual for me

I'm not the biggest fan of the genre.

Work is not the right place for this music and I probably wouldn't pick it in a situation where it is more warranted

Good not my style

- classic le sexy sex song - he has a good voice and instrumentation is nice - i wouldn't listen to any of these songs individually though - kanye spaceship sample on distant lover!! - i hate sex sounds in songs (you sure love to ball) and the song is way too long - totally not my style of listening music

was okay. think i can only listen to this if i'm getting down and dirty.

People back then were too horny. Never been a big fan of rnb or whatever sexy genre you call this. Feel like I'm trying to get into the pants of a black milf.

Great hit, but not my type....

i am not convinced i have ever actually listened to lets get it on all the way through, bc of how iconic (and therefore punchlineable) the first few bars are overall too molasses-esque to be my thing but i DID enjoy: - those strings! - the zyoop!-y synthy sounds - all of keep gettin' it on, not nearly enough songs have direct sequels these days and i find them charming as heck

It was fine, wasn’t hard to listen to but I didn’t think it was anything special

Not into it

Restaurant music

Ah, the controversial Let's Get It On / Thinking out loud 😆

A bit cheesy, a bit obsessive, Let's Get It On is a classic but the rest just take it too far...

This one is too smooth for me, like the Whats Going On 1000 times better

Gets it on

2.5 Some cool basslines, but too ballady overall for my liking

It really felt like Marvin just phoned this one in. From the bedroom.

1 or 2 tracks about boning are fine. But every single track gets old

It's just a bit too sexy for me.

It was ok. A little samey, a little dull in parts.

Insomma, a parte la canzone I heart through the grapevine, tutto non interessante

Kinda mediocre outside of one or two songs

Title track is amazing, the rest has the same sound but none of the songs have much more to them. It ends up repetitive

Vaikuttaa liian yksinkertaiselta, ekan biisin soittelua useampaan kertaan (keskellä albumia?) "Bad pretentious art that thinks it's critiquing bad pretentious art, told exclusively through the medium of food metaphors? ...yay."

Not for me

Let's Get It On is a good song, but honestly, this just isn't my kinda thing. Standouts: Let's Get It On

This reminded me of the new project from Silk Sonic (Anderson .Paak & Bruno Mars): it's smooth, it's sensual, it's vibey, the performances are good, the musicians are extremely talented...but it just doesn't interest me. Mr. Gaye recorded a phenomenal sex playlist here but outside of that very specific circumstance, I wouldn't find myself seeking this out ever again.

I don’t know man, like when are people gonna put this on? Do people bang to this anymore? Just seems weird, it’s too on the nose. Like if I put this on with my partner, she’s more likely to laugh than anything. I thought it was wild he has released like 15 fucking albums, I laugh thinking he had super-fans buying each record, I’m not gonna listen to another Marvin Gaye album but I really do hope this guy slipped in a metal album in to mix it up a bit. Pretty sure he moaned, “Suck off my soul” at one point during this album, that made me laugh. Overall this sucked, fuck this Scientologist ass. Let’s get it on is fine so 2 stars for this. I’m gonna fuck to something more fun than this shit.! :)

Not his best

He's clearly making a sex album. It's quality, but still basically a joke.

Never understood the appeal of Motown, this was so underwhelming

just the one song

Really just one well known song and that one song is good. The rest are just ok.

The quintessential sexy album. But to be honest, I didn't find it all that memorable

Great voice but not a patch on 'What's Going On'

Marvin Gaye could sing, but I never cared for his music.

have to be in the mood . . .

Did not like

Greit, men eit heilt album blir for mykje

Outside of Let's Get It On and the hilarious companion piece, which I had never heard of before, Keep Gettin' It On. I'm not into this at all.

Nimikkobiisi kutumusan kuninkuusluokkaa.

Wasn’t really my thing. Maybe I wasn’t in the mood?

Aquí l'obvi és el tema titular, però 'You Sure Love to Ball' té també cos de clàssic

I can respect the music, just not for me. too slow and too linked with "old people romance" in my mind

Got excited when I thought it was Whats Going On. Love Marvin in small bites.

Very smooth and sexy, but lacks bite and funk. It’s no What’s Going On. I’m only giving it 2* because Marvin can do way better.

Hi- Let's Get It On, Distant Lover Lo- Keep Gettin' It On, You Sure Love To Ball It's unmistakeable the impact Marvin Gaye had on modern R&B, and this album evokes all the sensual tones it sets out to do just short of turning into overt pornography (You Sure Love To Ball). Even though the album clocks in at just over half an hour, it has a problem with staying power...Do we really need a second round of "Let's Get It On" (Keep Gettin' It On)? Seems like reverting to old tricks just to keep it fresh. The swoopy sax, swanky funk bass, weepy strings, smooth crooning all paints a picture of romance and the correct duration to provide the soundtrack for an anniversary or birthday celebrated by a couple on a work night (whether that couple is two people or one person with a bottle of red wine).

"Let's Get It On" is such a classic. Soulful, easy listening sound. Is just one of those songs you can hear that makes you smile. "Keep Gettin' It on" is fun, though seems to be just a copy/paste of the 1st track. The rest of the album is slow and repetitive, and just does not excite. Cannot say that the 1 great song carries this album. It does not.

Nice voice but so boring

I now know what music I'll use for the soundtrack of my next Buck Naked porno. Till then, I know what soundtrack I should use if I want to quickly fall asleep of sheer boredom.

Gayella on taatusti parempiakin levyjä, kuin tää kutualbumi. Let's get it on on toki legenda.

Buen disco

Great use of the baritone sax to compliment the vocals in "lets get it on". The album never really seems to change or develop as it progresses and gets repetitive by the 3rd song. There is a clear reason lets get it on is the most popular. The rest of the songs are just worse versions of it.

Songs all sound kind of the same. Not good background music unless doing the title title.

“Let’s Get It On” has always been my least favorite Marvin Gaye hit, something about the simplicity in the message lacks the depth of hiding it through imagery. “Let’s Get It on AGAIN” is abridge too far. What’s going on is much better.

ehh, pretty slow got that one meme: first 5 sec of Let's get it on

Let's get it on is strong enough to get this off the 1 star floor, and I see Marvin knew what he had there when he went back to the well on the remix (first appearance of a remix?) Anyways, "You sure love to ball" is hilariously pornographic. Marvin gay is talented but this album made me sleepy.

nice background jazzy music. only recognized the beginning of the first song. love the cover art

Not my type but has a very recognizable song and some songs are pretty chill. Best songs: Lets get it on and if i should die tonight. Rating: 2/5

Classic opener. Nice smooth jazz, but very samey and got very boring very quickly.

r&b not my cup of tea

Perhaps no other record has ever achieved the kind of sheer erotic force of Let's Get It On, and it remains the blueprint for all of the slow jams to follow decades later -- much copied, but never imitated.

It's just not my thing. I get that it is sex jams and it has its place, but I just don't think that place is on the 1001 list.

Some great songs but most of the lyrics are like something a horny teenager would scribble. Baby, baby, baby, baby, baby. Its naff.

Alright tbf. Wouldn't listen again

pretty good, would definitely add most to my sex playlist if I had one ;/ lets get it on is a banger, probably the only one ill come back and listen to

Goes without saying how incredible his voice is, but this album didn’t do it for me. Feels like he’s made a music to have sex to album and, unfortunately, I wasn’t on that vibe when listening to it yesterday. The title track is a classic, but that was about it. Pretty creepy lyrics at times too.

Apart from the 1at song I found this a bit of a non-entity. His voice is undeniably incredible, but I was pleased this was quite short.

Jazz Meh

Very sensual R&B. The songs were things I'd listen to on the radio but I might change if I got bored. Not a fave, but not a hate.

The titular track is obviously solid. That song kills. Couldn't get into the rest of it, though. Too much slow soul for me and the revised "keep getting it on" track reminded me of seeing an artist live when they play their greatest hit twice in a set.

Better than the last Marvin Gaye album I listening to but still not great. Other than the single "Let's get it on" every song is meh. A bunch of words going with music without much melody. He got into a niche which made him famous but the album is not impressive. High 1.5

nie w moim guscie

Unfortunately, due to time period, sounds like elevator music. I can appreciate the elements (RnB vocal flourishes, jazzy piano motifs, occasional syncopation) separately but together, it's too complex for me to parse without total attention.

Tuota tuota… tulin antaneeksi aiemmin What’s going on -albumille 4/5. Eli voisi sanoa, ettö pidän soulista ja Marvin Gayesta. No ei. 1/5

Tapped out when the moaning started

This man's estate sues people for making similar music. Baffling. I've never heard a man, whose meant to epitomise sexual music, sound so unattractively whiny.

Every song sounds like the other

Es bueno pero me dió extremo asco

feels violating

para nada mi gusto

didnt listen

One okay song followed by half an hour of generic soul songs. 👎 So many albums that could be on this list, but we have this instead.

Obviously good, but not really my cup of tea. Falling asleep

Boring. Again he is crying because a „babe“ left him. And then he cries, because another babe comes to him. But i swear, she will leave him and he will sing: „uhhhhhhh babe, ohh babebabe uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh babe“. Now i will listen to slayer to be awake again. „WAR ENSEMBLE!!!!!“

A Classic is Always a good choice

Once the horns and orchestration starts - after 1 minute and 11 seconds of sublime music and singing- this album never gets of the wrong track.

Did not like.

Disappointed. Meandering without rhythm or melody. ‘Keep gettin it on’ made me think the whole album was conjured up to support the only good track on the album.

ohhh-hhh, baaa-byyy, youuu- uuuh ... ooo-oooh, please gooo-ooh away Marvin. I haaa-te it! Miii-nuuus - - - - -

Not for me at all

No me gusta

Chato, repetitivo e datado. Um música boa.

This album is far to sexy for me!! One good song and 7 others seductive numbers that don’t really add much. Not one of Marvins greatest’s Favourite song: Let’s get it on Least favourite: You sure love to ball and just to keep you satisfied Album artwork: Good cover

Far too slow for my liking.

Seichter Soul.

bof 1/5

Album #8 "Oh baby you set my soul on fire" should always be credited to Marvin Gaye because those phrases are in any song that he writes about seduction and sex. . This album played like a one night stand, From the initial track of "Let's Get It On" to the final track of "Just to Keep You Satisfied." I prefer his music from the album "What's Going On" where he chooses to focus on something besides what is in his pants and has a greater meaning to a wider audience. Unfortunately I was introduced to MG in the 80's with his hit Sexual Healing. MG is not my cup of tea and I had to push myself to listen to this album in it's entirety.

The music if pretty, but just too schmaltzy for me.

I cannot argue that everything about this album is absolutely perfect and is deservedly rated one of the best albums ever. However, unlike other musical genres I have become to like I have always had an aversion and avoidance of music like this. It just doesn’t do anything for me. As for the sexy thing, if I were to put this on the turntable and dim the lights my partner would die laughing. I’m more likely to put on Marillion. Having dutiful listened to it through in full the only thing I can say is that if I had only one choice between this and modern chart stuff I would choose Marvin..but I don’t have to.

Not my type

Nope. Hate it

I honestly don't remember much from this so it obviously wasn't mind blowing to my. I do remember it not really being my thing and wishing it would end. 1.5/5

Pole minu maitse

Not for me

I can understand why this is a popular album but it didn’t really appeal to me. The bass is good.

helemaal niks

<33333333333333333

boring and HAHAHAHAH GAY

Too sexy. It hurts my ears.

Let's get it on is an epic track, we can all agree and you'd be rather strange not to agree. However the rest of the album holds no magic for me, which is a real shame.

Not my sound

I miss a tighter production, tighter songs. It’s too loose.

Tremendo Album!!

Meh...

What a ways to start.....
