David Bowie

I think this is the second time I hear this album in full. The first time was right when it launched, a few days before he passed. I was so in shock, realizing the true meaning of some of these songs, that I couldn’t hear it again casually. Almost cried hearing it again. Amazing album.

Not my favorite genre, but WOW, Sepultura is so good. As a brazilian, hearing a berimbau and many other cultural references in a heavy metal album is amazing.

Fred Durst is an idiot, but not idiot enough to not listen to this. I have to admit, this hip-hop/nu metal fusion is actually good, at least melodically. Because yeah, most lyrics are shit. My Way and Take a Look Around (with the MI riff) are my soft spots.

For me, Hot Chip is a band that I really can't choose a favourite album or song, I just love all their moments. "In Our Heads" is probably their peak before switching gears in "Why Make Sense", and it's just SO GOOD. It was really emotional for me hearing it again after some time, I think this was their first full album I heard.
