Americana-ey
Interesting stuff. Not always great, but never dull
Like they’re on the brink of putting it together for a true hit but all the pieces aren’t quite there. Meanders at times making me wonder what they were going for and feeling like they didn’t know and didn’t get there.
Cool enough to have on in the background, and interesting enough to listen closely.
Definitely interesting and unlike really anything I’ve heard before. Not sure how I’m supposed to dance to this though
This rocks hard
Slow start with some solid keepers on a vibe album
Got myself addicted to the rush of this one
2-ply super soft bullshit. And dude, Red Man is not the preferred nomenclature. Native Americans, please
Can’t really go wrong with this one
Not my favorite style, but I can appreciate it in doses
A bit all over the place for me. Lost is a good track that I can listen to multiple times, but the rest of it sort of doesn’t catch my interest.
Top 5 album for me. Not sure how I’ll pick a single track to be the top one, but here we go. So Cruel might have to be my darkhorse favorite track. It catches me every time. Mysterious Ways, though… More to consider Ultra Violet gets strong consideration Trying to Throw Your Arms Around the World should be considered, but JUST barely out of top 3 So Cruel for the win
Dig me some Dwight. Tough to go wrong with Streets of Bakersfield A Thousand Miles from Nowhere Buenas Noches From a lonely Room One more name
Pretty lazy-riffic Will is My Friend ain’t bad Overall an enjoyable enough listen, but not wholly memorable
Poignant Opening track is solid Leaving the Table is a gut punch and a goody Traveling Light prolly gets the nod
Liked it. Will revisit later to select a single track
SO good
Starts off with a bang BANG, and then just kinda drags on without much intrigue. Airplane sex, though.
All timer. Damn near perfect
Serious cultural moment. A lot of good stuff here; hard to argue with a 4-star rating. Still, can only listen so much before needing a palate cleanser. Hand in my Pocket works best for repeat
SO many top hits, and filler that’s good to better than good. I’m on Fire is a personal fav. Glory Days kills, and Dancing in the Dark, of course. Cover Me a darkhorse. But Born in the U.S.A. gotta be THE track, if one has to narrow it down.
California Dreamin still hits. Album gets old after a couple spins
Talkin bout a revolution works. Fast Car slaps Otherwise pretty okay
Richie Dagger’s Crime: love the intro
Some hits that are no surprise, and some not-good filler. Hits carry the album, of course I guess “Dancing Queen” would be added to the list
Good disc music. Great for work background
Still like Help me Rhonda, but otherwise this just makes me feel full cringe. Musically impressive, sure, but Jesus
Meh, not my thing
Not as bad as some would have you believe (JOHN)
Under attack ferda
So-so. Some decent tunes, but some head scratchers
The good is great. The other is just meh
Not sure how I would pick a track off of this one to one come back too. Sorry Björk, not for me.
Jesus tap dancing Christ. No. Just, no. Dogshit. Never again
