Less annoying than pure hip hop, but utterly irrelevant

I couldn't even finish this. I found most of it horribly annoying. Lyrics were lazy and cringy, and I'm really not into the vocal styles on most of the album. Some of the music was ok, but not enough to redeem the rest of the album.

This was fine. Not really my style. I can see why people like it. Would be fine background music to work to.

Acredito que me falte conhecimento musical para conseguir entender a razão deste álbum estar nessa lista de 1001 para se ouvir antes de morrer. Não gostei e não achei muitas qualidades redeemables, tirando algumas batidas de poucas músicas. Certamente iria apreciar mais o álbum se fosse apenas instrumental, visto que achei a voz muito gemida e arrastada, o que definitivamente não é do meu estilo. Não só não irei adicionar o artista nas minhas playlist como irei fazer um esforço para evitar ouvi-lo.

The intro with the PlayStation start up sound got me excited for the album! When the first song started the excitement disappeared. Typical radio friendly pop R&B. Some songs later on were actually kinda good but overall I don't see why this is on the list of 1001 albums.

Reading about this album I was quite intrigued. Sadly the songs themselves don’t deliver: overproduced modern R&B with nothing that really stands out. Another one that felt too long by about halfway through.

I'll apologise again, but I can't connect with contemporary pop music, especially of the type that's so closely related to hip-hop.

Not what I would listen to

If you're into R&B I can see this being enjoyable... As a newcomer I certainly didn't get the appeal. Bland tracking and free form flow left a bad taste. As much as there are many albums to listen to before you die, I would not have minded not hearing this one.
