Love this album, it's a long time fav. Big slow rolling languid beats and syrupy vocals. This album has atmosphere to spare. The pacing and track list of the album is great. After I was finished the first instinct was to push play and take it for another spin.

This was my introduction to Björk, and at the time I had never heard anything quite like it. I remember being struck by how the music could be so soft and subtle but incredibly lush and layered
2.5/5
Pleasant surprise. I didn’t go into this expecting much but I really enjoyed it

Not my favorite smiths album, but still a good listen. It has their signature sound but the songs feel lacking compared to albums like The Smiths, or The Queen Is Dead.
This was my introduction to Björk, and at the time I had never heard anything quite like it. I remember being struck by how the music could be so soft and subtle but incredibly lush and layered
Time of the Season is an amazing track, but aside from that this album didn't engage me. It struck me an attempt to reproduce the magic of Pet Sounds but it fell short of the mark.
I've heard this music mimicked and parodied throughout my life. It's like stepping into an old TV show. This album is a fun time but nothing that I really take that seriously or will revisit
Brutally whimsical and frenetic energy that forces itself into your brain. Strong melodies and interesting sounds.
I guess the horn sections in some tracks were interesting but otherwise this is not extremely original or engaging
I've never heard a Lynyrd Skynyrd album all the way through. So glad that has changed. This is a great album, it jus keeps rocking and rambling. There's not a bad track here.
Elton sure dialed it up right now. Flawless execution, a perfect blend of prog with that incredible 11 minute opener and great tunes to hum along to.
Butch Vig and Shirley Manson are legends. I've heard this album a hundred times and always enjoy it
Humpty Hump always seemed like a fun joke song, and to be clear it isn't like DU is taking themselves too seriously here. But it's got some real jams and grooves. This is a fun album that is a lot more than skin deep
Takes me back to being 17 and working at Sam Goody. Brash and angry, Eminem's lyrics and delivery are full of lunacy and humor. Dre's production helps to hone the words of an unknown but gifted rapper into an album that changed the rap landscape
Nothing stood out as exceptional or noteworthy. Decent album but it didn’t leave much of an impression on me
Good stuff. Big crunchy riffs. Overall a little one dimensional though. A lot of the songs kind of mush together and aren’t very interesting

New to me! Really interesting listen. I enjoyed it and will return to it in the future
I love Tom Petty, but honestly this album isn't one that I know that well aside from Breakdown and American Girl. Enjoyed this a lot, this album sounds a little more energetic and rambunctious than much of the material that would come out later, but is unmistakably Tom Petty. It's a fun listen!
This is garbage. It is just musically bad. Least favorite tracks: Black Money, Mister Man, Man-Shake
Had fun listening to this album and the two different mixes. I thought the original Bowie mix was the better version
It was ok, but not a repeat listen for me
Low key and pretty enjoyable. Very casual and inoffensive. At the same time, I didn't find a lot that drew me in.
Haven't heard this in a very long time. It's a mixed bag to be honest. It felt gimmicky at the time and it still does.
Very solid from front to back, really enjoyed this
It was okay, but not a repeat listen. Average alternative pop rock from the 90s. 2.5/5
Probably my favorite 2pac album. I think this is his most reflective and poetic album. Even though it doesn't have the hits he released later, it's probably his best work. 4.5/5
Classic. How could anyone not like this?
Did not enjoy this much, thought this was a mediocre attempt at fusing reggae with other sounds but it wasn't very successful. His voice is interesting but I didn't enjoy most of the songs
Hadn't heard this VU album before. Much more subdued than Velvet Underground & Nico. Really interesting. Lou Reed is great as always. 4.5/5
Turns out I know more Jerry Lee Lewis songs than I realized. This was a short fun listen.
Fantastic album. Probably one of the most well-known albums of the decade. Great polished songs from front to back. The big layered guitars and Vedder's vocals compliment each other well.
🤷♂️😕 Meh
This is dope 🎺👌
Late 80s/early 90s rap is so distinctive. Great lyrics on this album, really powerful. Classic beats
First k.d. lang. Subtle and contemplative in tone. Not bad adult contemporary fare
🤯😍 A master work of angst and raw emotion. Incredible sonic textures and layers. I love the rawness and power of this album, and the way it effortlessly shifts from tone to tone
Not bad, some interesting beats and rhythms
Lively and fun
Very nostalgic. These songs felt immediately familiar even though I hadn't heard them before, but ultimately it isn't lasting or memorable
Not my preferred flavor of electronic music, but it felt very mid-90s and nostalgic
Pretty fun, nice grooves. 3.5/5
Top notch dad rock
This album drips with style and confidence. Great production, vocals, and just a super interesting listen all the way through. 4.5/5
Frenetic and quirky, but still very catchy and likable. I love Talking Heads, but surprised this album was selected. Once in a Lifetime is amazing and never gets old.
Exuberant and fun pop full of pretty enjoyable hooks
Bowie at his best. Great album
Solid psych rock. A lot of interesting and experimental sounds going on.
Bittersweet symphony is a classic that stands the test of time. The rest is fine too but not incredibly engaging or remarkable. 3.5/5
Packed with grooves, chill and funky. A few outstanding tracks. 3.5/5
Hard classic techno beats that would be at home in a warehouse rave. I can smell this album and it wreaks of sweat and clove cigarettes
Big Band has never really been my thing, but there's some other jazz elements and fun things that kept my interest. Ultimately, I appreciate it more than I actually enjoy it
Stills and Young, usually doesn't get much better. Has good tracks but as an album it isn't as good as the sum of its parts
Such a fun album. Wish I had listened to White Stripes more when they were together
Great album, almost as good as Ziggy
Pretty solid. 3.5/5
Merry xmas
I thought this was interesting at first, but the whole thing started to get old by the middle of the album and by the end of Frankie Teardrop I was ready to turn it off. 2.5/5

This is the very definition of 90s alt-rock. Layers of crunchy guitar-driven melodies with shimmering vocal hooks. Fun! 3.5/5

This just isn't for me. Acid jazzy beats meets french 90s hip-hop. On paper it's right up my alley but for some reason I found it to be unremarkable overall. Nothing grabbed me and I was mostly just waiting for each track to end rather than being engaged by the music.
