Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis

Very early Davis, that sounds like jazz to me. I definitely don't know enough about the period to understand how it differs. Sound pretty cool for music recorded in 1949! 4 Heard before? No Owned: No: 39/153 (24%) Will I get? Probably not

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club

I think I've heard this before and liked it. Interesting punk but treads the same ground over and over. Can hear the influcnce they had the Pixies. Had high hopes for this one, thought I was missing out on something, but not really. 3 Heard before? Some Owned: No, 88/335 (26%) Will I get: Maybe

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan

Dylan's best 70's album. Tangled up in Blue may be his best song. Each track is great, showcasing a renewed lyrical strength and a mostly stripped back instrumentation. I even like the much maligned Lily, rosemary and the Jack of hearts! The only thing better (to me) is the original 1974 test pressing. 5 Heard before? Yes Owned: Yes 1/1001, 1/3 (33%) Will I get? Have several copies already! Recommend: Yes

Dog Man Star by Suede

Didn't like them at the time, this listen hasn't change that. Nothing stands out except Maybe This Hollywood Life. Sub-Bowie, identity-less dull pastiche. What I have heard of Butler's other work is more interesting than this. 2 Head before? No Owned: No 0/1001, 0/1 Will I get? No Recommend: No

Total classic. So many bangers, still sounds so vital, clever and funny today. Easy 5 Heard before? Yes Owned: Yes. 3/1001, 3/14 (21%) Will I get? Already have Recommend: Yes
