Love led Zeppelin

Top album, loves learning to play Babe I’m Gunna Leave You on guitar. Dazed and Confused is like slipping after taking a deep zen pill.

I liked this one a lot, surprisingly. It felt gritty and powerful. Generally I'm not a fan of this kind of sound, but they pulled it off very well. That being said, there were some songs on here that didn't fit the feel of the rest of the album. Even then though, they still sounded great. Favorite track: Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

This album has a couple of my favorite of all time Zeppelin songs, but I believe they become a more focused, better band on later albums than this one. Still a very good and deserving spot to be on the list. Highlights: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9.

Okay I grew up with this one. It’s still an A+ album, rocks hard, and placed in 1969 it’s no wonder it changed rock music like it did. I still love it, especially Good Times Bad Times, but I have to finally acknowledge that Robert Plant’s orgasmic moaning and groaning and his lyrically complicated relationships with women are annoying but fortunately it doesn’t hurt the album overall. Bonham’s drums are fucking fantastic, Page and Jones are fantastic, and Led Zeppelin 1 stands the test of time.

I wish I could give it 10 stars.

No todas son buenas canciones, pero las canciones buenas son excelentes! 5 estrellas porque está mi bajo favorito de Zepellin Good Times Bad Times

This is so good. Although I prefer the later, more mature Led Zeppelin, there's no denying the raw power they displayed right from the start. I'm trying to imagine hearing this for the first time right when it was released in 1969. They just blew away Cream, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, and every other band on the heavier side of rock. John Bonham, Jimmy Page, and Robert Plant were all standouts individually (sorry John Paul Jones, I'm sure you were really good too, your part just doesn't stand out as much), and combined they were so strong. As I listened today, I paid special attention to the drumming - just amazing. 5 stars.

Just WOW!!

Great album from start to finish.

An easy fiver. What an absolutely ridiculous year 1969 was for music. This is just one of like 10-20 masterpieces released that year.

Perfection

wonderful

What more needs to be said? One of the greatest debut albums ever. I think the songwriting is better in later releases but the performances are impeccable.

Everything a classic rock album should be – loud and proud, impassioned and (okay, sure) a little bombastic. They steal the blues template blatantly and shamelessly, of course, but somehow they expand, amplify and make the blues their own (e.g., “How Many More Times”) much more effectively than other bands that took the same starting point. Awesome opening moments on both “sides” – the drum-spliced riff on “Good Times, Bad Times” and the organ on “Your Time Is Gonna Come.” Plant is surely the best of this generation of vocalists – selling “Babe I’m Gonna Leave You” like an actor dying on stage, with such rollicking drama in the arrangement in the playing. Page is just a genius, unleashing massive, outlandish solos and jagged riffs, and then applying the subtlest of touches (e.g., the slide echos on “Your Time” and the pastoral bits on “Black Mountain Side”). And has there ever been a more authentically druggy song than “D & C”? Bonzo and JPJ lay down an appropriately bottom-heavy beat – like immovably leaden. One of the best debuts in rock and roll history, surely. My 16-year-old self is delighted that this record still sounds as good as it does.

Bluesy zeppelin, the Spotify after this album is incredible

An absolute classic

What a fucking insane debut album. Just drops trou and shits on all the 60s pop rock of the day. So bluesy. Rocks so hard. Amazing.

This is a game-changing masterpiece.

I've grown to really love Zeppelin, much more than in the 70s, 80s

It is always a good day when we can drop a five star. Led Zepplin is one of my favorite rock bands and their debut album starts to explain why. From Plant's wailing and crooning to Paige's shredding of the guitar (something few were doing at the time) to Bonham's expert drum work, this album has it all. And it isn't even my favorite album of theirs! Every song oozes both the 60's and coming right at the tail, a promise of exciting things during the next decade and beyond.

Oh here we go. I've been waiting for this moment for a while. The OG Led Zeppelin album, the one that started it all. Talk about a debut album! It's got a handful of blues covers that just rip, and the original songs have mostly become classic rock staples. This is just a foundational album, a must-listen for anyone who cares about rock music. I wonder if they knew when they made this the kind of legacy it would have? Did they know they were making one of the greatest rock albums of all time? Well, they did. Favorite tracks: Every single song except for How Many More Times. Album art: Iconic, the zeppelin. Just a tried and true classic. It's honestly not that special or impressive, but when you tie it to an album like this it's unforgettable. 5/5

classic ldldl

<3 Led Zeppelin

Hmmm, I liked this a whole lot more than III. It's one hell of a debut, alright. I guess it has more of the stolen blues draped all over it, so seems fresher, whereas III became the template for a whole swathe of hard rock, and thus now sounds generic, as it spawned a genre? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Fave track - "Dazed and Confused" that's a monster of a track!

Lots of good songs on here. Love Zeppelin.

Absolute classic.

One of the greatest debut albums of all time

Masterpiece

Solid heavy rock debut from one of the all-time greats. Blues and folk influences abound and it's delivered in such an assured and accomplished manner. Every musician here is at the peak of their talents.

A classic among classics. Sure, it doesn't get the love that II or IV get, but I think it even surpasses them at times.

One of the best debut albums. Love it.

Classic!

Classic. Loaded with energy.

5/5. One of the easiest 5/5 scores I've given. Every song is classic.

Class. Everything a classic album should be. Cover art: 5/5

This is just a brilliant album. To make an entrance like 'Good times, Bad times' is just unreal. However, I do feel like this album is really kept alive by Jimmy Page and his mind-blowingly good guitar skills. He is really what makes this album special. So many classics set a foundation for their style for many years afterwards.

So many different musical styles in one album. What's not to like!

Awesome

Legendary band with a legendary debut album!

Holy zeppelin. Absolute classic; one of the greatest debuts ever; not quite peak zep but not that far off

HEAVY AF. Can't go wrong with Zeppelin.

So good

Hup de beuk erin. Lomp en hysterisch.

OMG did I love this album and still do. Dazed is low on the list of my favorite songs. How Many More Times... c'mon

It's daunting to stand before a Very Important Album and pass my own humble judgment. As a youth, I was not a huge fan of Led Zeppelin, or Album Oriented Rock for that matter. Not that I was unaware of the reverence and veneration that they elicited among the rock connoisseur. I just didn't get it. It was cool to listen today and really feel that I get it. There are amazing things here. This is the history of rock and roll.

Led Zeppelin!! I was not a fan until I hit college, maybe even grad school, but I am now. I loved the album, although I had never listened to it previous to today...mostly I have compilations. The bluesy-rock can really hit the spot and the seductive vocals of Robert Plant just embraced me and made me feel at home.

There may be other bands with them at the top but no one is on a higher shelf of my Mental Library of Favorite Bands than Led Zeppelin. They make me feel all of the good stuff. There is a lot to appreciate in this album. At the start of almost every song, I catch my breath a bit and think, "Oooh this one's my favorite." And at the start of the next, "Oh, no wait. It's this one. This one's my favorite." On some of the tracks, I'm often glad when Robert Plant's vocals start back up again after a long spoodly middle but any given song is back to being my favorite by the end. Love them all.

Led Zeppelin is one of those bands I have always thought I should be listening to but never have. I could name a few of their songs, but looking at the track listing of this album am not sure if I had heard any of this or not. I am glad their first album came up on this first. Turns out I think I have heard at least some of this, probably played at friends’ houses over the years, as parts of this album seemed familiar. As I suspected, I should have been listening to this. This is a great album and I liked all of the music on it. Among my favorite tracks are “Good Times Bad Times” (I know this one from before) and “How Many More Times” (great rhythm in that one!). “Your Time Is Gonna Come” (love that organ intro and background!), “Black Mountain Side” and “Communication Breakdown” is a perfect trilogy at the start of side two! The songs go perfectly together and it was my favorite part of the album. Glad to finally get a full Led Zeppelin initiation after putting it off for nearly a half-century!

12/17/2021 Today's Album: "Led Zeppelin" by The Led Zeppelin - Alright this first song is blowing me away so I want to go song by song. Good Times Bad Times kicks offthis album with an extremely solid start. The drums are doing this crazy thing with the pedals and the guitar is going nuts. I could have done without that weird fadeout at the end but still and amazing song. Babe I'm Gonna Leave you immediately slows things down for a slow ballad. There is a lone guitar in the beginning playing these really nice arpeggios until the bass comes in. The vocals on this song are really the focus and for good reason as they are incredible. The guitars and drums really do take it away in the second half, though. There are some feelings that this song is going on too long, but it sounds so warm those doubts are getting quickly dismissed. The sentiment of needing to lead a relationship despite the love attached is very emotional and lends well to the whole band just giving it their most sappy performance possible. You Shook Me is even slower, with the beat and distorted guitar sounding like a shovel being dragged through the mud it's so behind the beat. The blues progression gives this really cool contrast between the lamenting vocals and the absolutely gross effects on all of the instruments. The organ soloing, like in any 70s rock album (even though this one is '69), is fucking phenomenal. That paired with the harmonica, whose solo is fucking masterful, actually feels really revolutionary for the genre. Immediately after maybe one of the best guitar solos I have heard out of the entire decade it's from holy Christ it's actually so good. I also like this back and forth between the vocals and guitar before the ending and the singer actually goes fucking sicko mode. That immediately transitions into Dazed and Confused and the transition is actually really random and sudden, adding to the title. This song is hypnotizing, with insane drum breaks in between the moments of rocking grooves. Half way through the song picks up and the drums lay on the symbols. It's really disorienting but in the best way. My mans on guitar is just shredding. Your Time Is Gonna Come has a bunch of organs playing chords with one soloing on top of them. They drop out and the following song is a swaying soft rock groove with a country twang and a hard edge with the drums. Absolutely great tune and it works really well as a single (presuming it is one). There's a super cool drum break with these weird muted tones in the right channel and I love it. Smash cut to Black Mountain Side. It's this really cool guitar Jam with some amazing playing joined with a bunch of eastern percussion. It also cuts off right into Communication Breakdown, which feels more like a straightforward Zeppelin track, with a chugging bass and crazy high vocals. I am not as much of a fan of this style of theirs, but nonetheless the production on all of it is amazing and the playing is top notch as always. It is also a great way to keep the album flowing so I think it still is excellent, especially if you consider it's killer guitar solo. I Can't Quit You Baby is a slow grooving track that reminds me a lot of Voodoo Chile by Jimmy Hendrix, which came out a year before. However, the track does go in a different direction with it and focuses much more on the bass, which is turned up to 11. The solos are great and I have to say, I love how up front in the mix the drums are throughout this entire album. How Many More TImes is the 8.5 minute closer on this album and it is pretty crazy, with extremely loud guitar and symbol crescendos and some insane riffs to kick off the vocals. Every instrument is playing off of one another and bringing each other up and it is just amazing to take everything in. I now understand why people say Led Zeppelin is their favorite band. This is some of the cleanest and well performed rock I have ever heard. I want to listen to this album more and I absolutely regret not listening to it sooner. Do yourself a favor and give it a listen. Score: 10/10 The. 1970s. Rock. Template. **Perfection** Highlights: The entire thing. **Please listen to this album**

This is a foundational album having a major influence on modern music genres across a wide spectrum.

So bluesy, loved it.

Era defining rock n blues album from some of the best musicians assembled in the late 20th century. Jimmy Page is the man for assembling the group and the tunes. This was the band we all overplayed in college. Still love it today. Five easy stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Oh the humanity! || Five stars, huge for Rock and Roll and metal. So clear seeing British musicians take American Blues and twist/build off it. The blues had a baby and the baby is incredible stuff like this.

Perfection, from the first note to the last. Pretty much every song is a timeless classic, with some all-time greats mixed in as well. Absolutely loved it; would give it 6 🌟 if I could!

One of the best debut albums of all time. Favorite Track: Communication Breakdown Relisten: Yes

Awesome!

An incredible debut, can't believe I've never listened to this as an album or really got into Led Zeppelin - classic rock didn't know what I was missing! Lacking in parent influence and didn't find them for myself somehow? Loved this, so much variety in sound, so much feeling, so much unique musical ingenuity!

Just such an excellent album. Imagine this being your bands debut album, nuts. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You is one of my favourite Led Zeppelin songs. This album is chock crammed full of the bangerzest of the bangerz.

I wish i could grade it and move on, love this album, 5 stars for sure!

Goddamn... this album. I wish I'd been around when it first dropped - how did people cope?! Fav new track: N/A (but Babe I'm Gonna Leave You for the music/vox interplay and emotion, Dazed & Confused for the bassline, How Many More Times for the breakdown...)

great loved since ive been loving you and need to finish the album tn!

Glorious.

I forgot how good this was.

I mean. It's Zeppelin 1. It's pretty good.

Plant was 21 and Page was 25 when this album was released. Insane. Even if you don’t like this kind of music, how can you deny this kind of talent?

Just a great album.

Absolute classic

good album, from top to end !!!

When I listen to albums so carefully, while reading the lyrics, I have the tendency to find faults that I never knew were there. But won't matter this time, what a great debut album!

As awesome as the first time I heard it.

Probably the best debut album ever. It's so clean, so well written, so well performed. Absolutely brilliant.

5/5. Absolute Classic.

Absolutely bangin

Great album from start to finish.

Perhaps the best first album of all time. Each one is a classic in its on right. I’ve listened to this album so much without realizing it was the first bc it’s so well thought out and just a perfect reflection of LZ

Classic, even if they did steal all the songs on it

How this album could be a 60's/70's album and sounds so modern and fresh? For me, it's a definition of atemporal.

A rock masterpiece. Hard to believe they hit the ground running like this. What a timeless (and perfectly executed) batch of songs. All 4 monster musicians making musical alchemy. Phenomenal.

Absolute classic! Not much more to be said.

One of the greatest greatest. As any fule no.

I feel there's a lot of promise to this band, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for this young lot. More seriously, this is probably the best debut album ever; musicians do not come more accomplished than this to begin with. Hard to believe this is only Zep's 4th best album (by my reckoning, which is widely regarded as the absolute truth by no one).

More Zep than ever before! Exciting to hear where it all began. A much bluesier Zeppelin that I'm familiar with. I can understand why this became a classic.

My first love.

Great album.

Classic

One of the greatest debut albums of all time from one of the great rock bands of all time. Enough said.

5/5. Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands ever. All songs are amazing.

The best of the best

What can anyone say about Led Zep that hasn’t already been said? Thanks Ayron for trying! But seriously, an amazing debut that set the bar high, and then they kept topping it. I never get tired of listening to or playing Led Zep.

This is is the album that started it all. All of the other Zeppelin songs and albums came from this.

Classics!

Leave it to the college prof to have gobs of time to spend writing a BOOK about each album. Just kidding ayron ;-) This one's a classic for sure. Not my favorite Zeppelin album, but an incredible debut.

It almost seems unfair or obvious to give this album 5 stars. How would you not rate one of the top 3 rock bands of all time as a 5? But some bands grow into their best stuff. Led Zeppelin was amazing from the get go. Some straight ahead pounding and feet-stomping tunes (Good times bad times and Communication breakdown), some soaring ballads (Babe I'm gonna leave you), some trippy complex arrangements (is there any better example than Dazed and Confused?), and everything in between. Probably not even my favorite Led Zeppelin album and I'm not a super fan or anything. But you've got to respect their talent.

What an amazing debut album. There aren't many bands that made a first impression like this. Not a bad track in the bunch and difficult to pick a favorite. John Paul Jones' organ intro on "You're time is gonna come" that opens side two just showcases how underrated he was as well, overshadowed by the other 3 members.

One of the most underrated bands ever. And this isn't even my favorite album.

My favorite LZ album, the best debut album, an absolutely perfect album.

Absolute classic

All-Time.

Amazing album!

My first 5 star, had never listened to this and loved every song

Yeah gimmie that Zep Dirty solos and blues from the English boys

Classic from beginning to end

Imagine you are in 1969 and you turn this album for the first time. Your mind would be absolutely blown. Bonzo's drumming still blows my mind 50 years later. Also, sex noises by Robert Plant. Flawless album, and as always, was a genuine joy to listen to again.

Truly a 4.5 because Lez Zeppelin II exists but it didn't feel right to give it a 4.

the band is mindblowing. the type of music you listen to enjoy, not to sing to nor to dance to, but to feel it, it makes you want to play the drums in a pub

Iconic

Top album. Almost all are great songs. Enjoyed greatly. What more can I say?

Classic.

Where to even begin. Subsequent albums were more varied, sprawling, more grandiose but this was the album that changed rock music forever. John Bonham and John Paul Jones combine to create the greatest rhythm section of all time and are the driving force behind Guitar virtuoso Jimi Page and the Inimitable Robert Plant. This is never more evident than on tracks like ‘Babe I’m gonna leave you’ and of course the spectacular, iconic Dazed and Confused. A song that is as much a part of hard rock culture as anything that came before it or has came since thanks to its foreboding baseline giving way to Bonham’s crashing drumming and Page’s shredding guitar work. But there are too many other great tracks on this album to list them all. From the psychedelic and pretty ‘your time is gonna come’ the folk sounds of ‘Black mountain side’, the bluesy chorus driven ‘good times bad times’ and the straight up rock and roll of ‘Communication breakdown’ the band show their diversity and technicality in spades here. The album closes with ‘how many more times’. This song is often overlooked by Zeppelin fans but for me it captures everything that early Led Zeppelin we’re about. John Paul Jones’ wonderful bass line sweeps you along before Bonham’s drumming and the gorgeous overdrive tones of Page’s Les Paul arriving soon after. The breakdown let’s you catch your breath briefly before the band collectively take you to a crescendo where Bonham’s spectacular drumming, playing with such power and precision - yet still managing to swing a little - steals the show once more. All That’s left of for Plant to show us why he was the most iconic rock frontman of his generation, perhaps of all time, and he surly obliges. A sensational album.

Rock clásico. Tiene todo lo que será Led Zeppelin, trallazos de 2 minutos y canciones con largos desarrollos. Vocalmente espectacular.

Already loved this album. Absolute classic

Classic

The Mayonnaise really achieved peak emulsion this week. First Jimi, now Zeppelin. Banger of an album, tracks a ton of different influences, definitely ahead of its time. Here's hoping we continue this hot streak.

Listened many times. Genre defining.

No question one of the greatest debuts ever

Classic

Mood: te vo a dejar, bebé.

If you don't 4 star or higher this I'm putting our friendship on probation.

This album is just such a thundering monster in the best way. Good Times Bad Times hooks hard. Dazed and Confused is a muddy, spooky masterpiece. Communication Breakdown sets the stage for an explosion in music.

Always Led Zeppelin!!!

Es perfecto antes de empezar por cosas más trabajadas que llegarán en su discografía.

excellent

One of my favs!!

There are no bad songs on this album. It goes from strength to strength

What else can be said? Stunning debut. I enjoyed going back and remembering how much fun this album is.

AMAZING. Loved "I Can't Quit You Baby".

I want this album to put its dick in me.

Bängeri Classic Rock. Kan inte gå fel

Classic, blues influence

This album is so good. I’m too far behind to write as much as I want on it. 9.8

Amazing, just the right amount of jam and super fucking cool.

Legendary

What more is there to say. I did notice the blues influence much more on this listen.

Have it, love it.

Unreal album. Need there be more to say?

What more is there to say that hasn't already been said about this album. I think it's the most influential rock album of all time. Solid 5/5.

As classic today as it was when it was made. Communication Breakdown, Black Mountain Side, Good Times Bad Times, Babe Im gonna leave you. Hit after Hit after hit. These guys just. Don't. Miss.

no cos all the songs were great. ooh that harmonica. dazed and confused just gets better everytime I listen to it !!

Pure gold.

What can be said! Banging

I mean, top 10 greatest albums of all time.

I love the raw sound of this album. One of my favorites of theirs.

Get the Led On!

I'm a Zeppelin fanboy. Great album.

Classic. Many good songs on it! Baby I'm Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, Communication Breakdown. Heavy!

Favorites: You Shook Me, Your Time is Gonna Come, Babe I’m Gonna Leave You Good Times Bad Times: needs more cowbell! - 1 Babe I’m Gonna Leave You: acoustic finger-picking is sweet - 1 You Shook Me: Very Bluesy - 1 Dazed and Confused: Really picks up in the second half - 1 Your Time is Gonna Come: wow. The piano/Oregon riff here is really awesome. - 1.25 Black Mountain Side: nice folksy instrumental, almost like a palet cleanser going into the rest of the album - 1 Communication Breakdown: not the most unique, but still totally rocks - 0.75 I Can’t Quit You Baby: more blues - 0.75 How Many More Times: Guitars in this song are pretty beastly - 0.75 Total: 8.5/9

Just an amazing debut album!!

One of my favorite albums ever!

A massive album. Best debut of all time? Best track: Dazed and Confused

What kind of a music fan thinks Exile on Main Street is "shite"?

Great album.

An excellent debut album, though in listening to this vs some of their later work, this just isn’t quite as good. There’s some great tunes on here, no doubt. Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You might be my favorite Zeppelin song ever. Just a great slow burn that turns into a powerful burst from the entire band, then veers back to a softer close. Just great stuff. Communication Breakdown and Dazed and Confused are other highlights. I know people like Good Times Bad Times, I’m just not as big a fan of it. Other tracks on here are good, but not amazing to me. 4 stars. An excellent record, but far from amazing for me.

Solid Zeppelin album.

really great sound design. communication breakdown all time classic great experience really like i cant quit you aswell

Pretty great album - I can see how something like this was blowing heads back in '69, it would have been quite the sonic revolution. What a year - Abbey Road, Velvet Underground, and Black Sabbath shortly on the way. Now Zep suffers from what one might dub 'the Seinfeld Effect' - that what was so special about it at the time has been retrodden to death so much since that it feels retroactively tacky and dated. For the record, I don't think Led Zepplin's self-titled debut is tacky - just that it's influence over the musical landscape to follow over the next fifty years is unmistakably vast and substantial. Some really great technical guitar work on the tracks, some flirting with more experimental instrumentation, and obviously there's the epic saga of Dazed and Confused. Plant's punkish vocal delivery continues to sound great, despite the lack of control (or perhaps because of it), and it's immensely listenable. Fav tracks: Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, How Many More Times

It was good. I don’t have anything more I can add.

I like it more than I thought I would.

Great album. Everyone knows it....

I know and like some songs on this record but never listened to the full thing. Was thinking about buying this record for my brother's birthday just yesterday, what a coincidence!

Album #199 Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin As far as debut albums go, very few bands have sounded like a more complete package than Led Zeppelin. Despite the Stones already being a very successful blues rock crossover, Zeppelin were really able to channel the blues sound of the 50s and the hard rock of the 60s into a product that really resonated with all audiences. There are certain bands which are just so universally adored, and obviously great, that I don’t even feel the need to wax lyrical about them; Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Yes, Led Zeppelin, etc all of these bands I enjoy a great deal yet I would never mention them amongst my favourites because they are so blatantly good that it should be implied that if you like music, you like these bands. There is the famous anecdote of a newspaper having its readers vote on one musician per instrument in a band, with the goal of assembling the greatest band of all-time, and the readers ultimately just ended up recreating Led Zeppelin. So it is hard for me to really quantify a score for an album like this, one whose quality is undeniable, yet I personally have never felt a defensive instinct towards it, unlike some albums which I feel the need to defend as if they were my own. What I will say about the debut is that though it isn’t my favourite Zeppelin album, it does have my favourite song of theirs, which is coincidentally also the first song they ever released, ‘Good Times Bad Times’. It really stands out on the album as a short, fast-paced snippet; the song just trails off at the end, leaving you wanting more. It is the absolute best introduction you can get to the band, roping you in with a taste and making sure you stick around to hear what comes next. The rest of the album is also pretty hard to pick flaws out of; however, I do find that some of the longer tracks tend to lose me a bit at points, and I don’t think this album has the same sonic diversity as Physical Graffiti or Led Zeppelin IV. So though I would never think to say a bad word about it, I also will never feel inclined to rank this amongst my favourite albums; but there really is no denying its place in music history. Best Songs: Good Times Bad Times, Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Your Time Is Gonna Come Worst Song: You Shook Me Score out of 10: 8.5

Overall great. A few of the riffs I was not a fan, but enjoyed the energy.

A pretty incredible debut - not 5 stars simply because of the strength of the later albums. What a cover image, and some absolutely killer songs. One or two blues by numbers are standing in the way of it being flawless

You already know what it sounds like. Classic yes but I can’t help thinking this record is a teeny bit overrated.

This is the third Led Zeppelin album I've gotten, and it's definitely my favorite so far. I can't say I'm suddenly a fan now. But I at least feel like I get it.

lovely

Love the back and forth between Page's solos and Plant's vocals. First place I can remember hearing something quite like that.

Holt mich überraschend ab, hat melancholische Momente, Babe I'm gonna leave you ist fantastisch. Kann man sich direkt als Platte kaufen. Hinten raus ham sie mich bisschen verloren, liegt aber vermutlich an meiner aufmerksamkeitsspanne

Led's first album delivers a strong melodic rock songs that utilizes heavy riffs, light vocals, and a wonderful blend of electric and acoustic instrumentation. Apparently they ripped off a bunch of people here. Gotta look into that

The album that started it all. You can hear bits of psychedelia and bits of the hard rock that they would go on to perfect through a really solid set of both originals and covers which they make their own.

Not exactly what I prefer to listen to but I can acknowledge that this is a pretty excellent debut album.

Turns out this album was the perfect pairing for driving someone with frontotemporal dementia to long term care. It was weird and perfect at the same time. Track titles like ‘Dazed and Confused’, ‘Your Time is Gonna Come’, ‘Communication Breakdown’, and ‘How Many More Times’ all represent the theme of the day. My sister and I both realized this when Your Time is Gonna Come played and it was hard not to laugh in the strange situation. With your father is in the backseat trying to play familiar music for him to ease the transition from one care home to another. When he doesn’t recognize his first born child and constantly repeats the same questions. How Many More Times Will you ask if we are driving East. Watching his Communication Breakdown is a bit tough. But at least since he is so Dazed and Confused he seems pleasant and generally happy with the time he has left.

Love me some Zep. But at this point in their discography, I cant in my due diligence give them another 5. They do what they do well, but they do not stray far from the path.

They are wankers, but good music.

I get it now! Never was impressed by LZ in passing but sitting down and hearing the sonics over a full album, its so easy to understand that they're all masters of their craft with a love for pop and experimentation in structure in their early stages. Look forward to when they come on again!

There are better Zep albums, but this is still very solid.

Large number of evergreen songs, "Babe I'm Gonna Leave Ya" stands out for intensity and raw **edge**.

Increíble álbum. Dazed and confused es genial. I can't quit you baby me da goosebumps cada vez que lo escucho. Los riffs y la armonía de todo queda muy muy bien. Es un álbum rutero, rock pesado bluesero pero para nada dificil de escucharlo. Top.

Cracking album, these guys were just nailing every genre they felt like right from the first album, fair play

Great album 4.02 Good times bad times Dazed and Confused Babe im gonna leave you

Bueno bueno

Nice album. Meget eksperimenterende. Synes dog nogle af numrene har for svage hooks til at være så lange. Ellers synes jeg albummet er en interessant oplevelse. Standouts: Good Times Bad Times, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Your Time Is Gonna Come

And for my final Led Zeppelin album of the project, we have Led Zeppelin's first album. Funny how that works, isn't it? So, this is definitely an iconic album. I'm not going to argue against its inclusion on this list. Why would I? However, I will admit that this album, and Led Zeppelin in general, aren't entirely my favorite. I'll start with the praise though. The musical talent that these guys have is immense. Right from the get-go, Plant, Page, Jones, and Bonham all demonstrated a considerable amount of prowess in their respective musical fields. I can't deny that these guys are among the best to ever do it from a technical perspective. But that's something you can say when talking about most of their albums. What's specifically special about their debut? Well, I was actually kind of amazed by how the Led Zeppelin sound was as fully formed on the first album as it was. A lot of bands and artists have noticeable growing pains on their first few albums, but Led Zeppelin were doing just fine on their first release. Songs like "Good Times Bad Times," "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You," and "Dazed and Confused" are still stone-cold classics. Sure, Robert Plant's vocal delivery sounds a little different here compared to later albums and the album at large has a much stronger focus on blues rock than an album like Led Zep IV, but for the most part, this is the Led Zeppelin that you know and probably love. But of course, people didn't know and love the band when this album released, which brings me to another piece of praise. This album must've felt unreal when it released! I mean, this was 1969! I have to give this band props for innovation in the hard rock world. But, I will say that not every part of this album is "innovative" per se. Yeah, let's talk about the controversial parts of the album. Like all popular bands, Led Zeppelin are not void of criticisms. Many of these complaints are fairly standard for rock bands of the time, but there's one specific complaint that's always been of interest to me regarding Led Zeppelin specifically. That, of course, is the accusations of plagiarism. Now, I'm not going to go around definitively calling Jimmy Page a filthy plagiarist, but if you were to use an album to do that, this would be the one. Led Zep I has its fair share of covers on it. Some of them were properly attributed to their original writers, others were not. This definitely taints the reputation of the album and band at large by a little bit, but it's actually not the biggest deal on the planet for one big reason. Sure, a song like "Dazed and Confused" may have been heavily inspired by Jake Holmes's song, but Led Zeppelin do more than enough with the song to make it feel like a new, arguably better, song. Like, if I wrote a song and these guys copied it, I'd still sue them, but I'd give them a pat on the back for doing something cool with the song. The point is, the unoriginality is balanced by enough originality to make the album still good. Now, I do still have one more complaint before I go. Led Zeppelin's lyrics have never been my favorite. The "baby honey child" stuff doesn't do it for me. It honestly makes me a little uncomfortable at times, especially knowing Jimmy Page's dating history. This isn't as much of an issue on later albums, but it is here, so take that for what you will. Still, at the end of the day, Led Zeppelin's debut is a killer first showing that mostly holds up to this day. This album definitely leans more in the "good times" part of "Good Times Bad Times" if you know what I'm saying. High 4/5.

So hard to give this anything lower than 4 despite it being on the bottom half of Zeppelin albums for me. That's how much they rule.

Eh it was good. I’m not gonna lie I zoned in an out but sounded enjoyable.

This is a great album, just not Led Zepp's greatest. It's underbaked - understandably as their debut. We can hear the blues roots, and the direction they're going, it's just too close to the start of that sound journey for me.

Great songs - a few I hadn't heard in a very long time. Nice to hear again.

Frequent rotation on rock stations not withstanding I haven't given much attention to Led Zeppelin. This album is solid full of great guitar sounds, and driving drums that are undeniably fun to listen to. Even though some of the tracks are longer by modern standards they don't seem to devolve into jam band wankery that gets tiresome.

Super powerful record. The guitar work is so incredible. So much power in the riffs, it's not the flashiest and sounds a bit rough at times but honestly that makes it even better. I love how wild and even at times improvised this record sounds. The band really plays to their strengths mostly. The harder songs rock, the folksy one sound great too. I think some of the blues rock tracks are the weakest element of this record (You Shook Me and I Can't Quit You Baby) but even those are admirable.

This was great! Loved the abrasiveness and the raw vocal performances throughout here. They definitely nailed down a very specific sound even on this (their debut), and it happens to convey a lot of energy and emotion. Favorites: Good Times Bad Times, Dazed and Confused, Black Mountain Side, Communication Breakdown

Feels like a natural start point to led zeppelin 2, like the vibes and easy to listen to

Ok yeah I get it

.........sounds about right. onward and zepward. my tolerance for cock rock has lessened over the years. that said my thoughts on the zep™️ are that the real Weirdos were doing coke in an ontologically evil enough city (Birmingham) to invent Real metal. still good though. 3.8-4.3. the riff at the end of "babe i'm gonna leave you" is just "25 or 6 to 4" without upstrokes. lowk nonce libertarian high school music teacher jumpscare. addendum: a. https://x.com/vincestaples/status/2048811163715346874?s=20 b. jimmy page is a Great vocalist in the same way post quincy MJ is. just because your voice Can do that doesn't mean that it Needs to.

I love the instrumentals and how they make they bass sound like it's talking and singing back and the harmonizing with it is killer. The lyrics can be pretty deep as well there's an overall smoothness to the album with it's storytelling

I Can’t Quit You Baby

I own this record. Obviously know Led Zeppelin. As far as I recall I’ve listened all the way through 1 time, and generally I like an album a lot better the second time. Good times bad times is really good, awesome guitar riff and solo. Good not great lyrics. I do like the vocals and harmonies tho. Nice change of pace with I’m gonna leave you. This is a really nice ballad followed by classic Led Zeppelin guitar. Much catchier. Vocals aren’t loud enough in the middle portion. The drums and guitar rock but the sound is just a little off. Other than that this is just straight up a really good song for all 6+ mins. Never heard a guitar sound like it does on you shook me. Classic zeppelin vocals. Keyboard solo 🔥🔥🔥. And then the harmonica, they’re pulling out all the stops for the solos. Really cool song. Really good vocals/lyrics in dazed and confused. Great guitar again obviously. What a song. Followed by another classic in your time is gonna come. This song reminds me of childhood. Love that guitar riff. Love going right into black mountain side after as well. This is another really good change of pace/palette cleanser. Shows that there more than just a rock band. Back on track with communication breakdown. This one is classic zeppelin. I can’t quit you baby is just ok. Awesome guitar but that’s it. Come to expect that at this point. How many more times as the enter seals this as an all time album. Another absolute banger. All of the 5+ min songs are so good. It’s not their best album, but for a debut it’s hard to top this. What a fun listen. Hard to say there’s any skips. 4.4/5 stars.

Inte färdiga än. Men verkligen lovande. Det nyskapande soundet finns där. Gitarrerna är otroliga. En fyra

This is a band fully formed on its debut and knowing that they are already one of the greatest bands in the world at that time. So much confidence in the performance. Tracks are good but better will follow. Tails off a little towards the end

Otra banda clásica a la cual apenas le doy su oportunidad completa con este proyecto y confirman su fama y su nivel, que entretenidos son

Led Zeppelin's debut album is a fantastic mix of rock and blues. It has so many lasting hits that I knew as well as a few songs I never really listened to before. Not every song was an instant classic, but its such a good album on the whole. Honestly they are one of the few bands I can name every member of, especially ones that haven't put out new material in 46 years.

Goddamn 1969... Not my favourite Led Zeppelin album (definitely IV) but its insane how this album just exploded into the world fully formed like the immaculate conception. Bluesy hard rock, just a little bit stolen (which they have since paid for) Never a huge fan of blues Robert Plant. There's only so much man orgasming POV I can take. The rest of the band are some of the greatest to ever do it though.

Pre Listen: Led Zeppelin? Based as fuck. I haven't listened to this album in full in quite a long time. I know I took songs from it and added them to my playlist back when I did, but my memory's fuzzy on the songs I left behind. I'll soon either remember why, or will likely be adding a few more. Notable Tracks: Good Times Bad Times - Iconic way to start the album. Absolute hall-of-famer right here. Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - First song that I didn't add to my playlist from way back when. Not making that mistake twice, COMPLETE banger. Dazed and Confused - Least favorite track on the album then, least favorite now. The moanin and groanin part of the song just isn't pleasant. Communication Breakdown - Another classic, though I don't like this one as much as Good Times Bad Times. Post Listen: I remember now why I don't really have as many songs from this album as I thought I might; it's a fairly short album, and the songs that are great I already have. Everything else is pretty good, but the stand-out songs almost make them pale in comparison. Robert Plant's vocals are iconic, but they range from feeling heart-felt to just kind of grating. To me the biggest stars of the band are the lead guitarist, Jimmy Page, and the drummer, John Bonham. Their work is the main course throughout the whole experience. This is classic, foundational Rock. Despite that I gotta give it a 4/5, Led Zeppelin made better albums as they matured together further along.

잠깐 들었지만 들을만한

So cool, but very frontloaded

Led Zeppelin always killing it with the bluesey rock. I've honestly never gotten really really into them but I just might be as a result of this project. A really cohesive album. Dare I say no skips? I need to listen again.

The blues roots are prominent, the music has a lot of variety, the vocals are really letting it rip. It's a hell of an opening album for LZ. Some truly amazing songs on here, but they kind of get lost in the weeds a bit on others. A lot of songs didn't need to be as long as they were. It was a very enjoyable listen all around. It's a great rock album and absolutely deserves high praise for what it's dishing out.

This is just such a classic rock album. Trendsetting in so many ways. Plants singing, Page's playing, ionic drummer and bass player.

Led zeppelins hugely influenced by the blues. A fact that remains mostly buried. The latter albums are more zeppelinny for the lack of a better word. This one is too close to the og blues. It is extraordinary but being close to the og sound this one makes me sad. Like the ogs deserved more recognition. Idk. Just a feeling

A few songs drag on but you can see the seeds of what would become one of the greatest rock bands of all time.

Led Zeppelin is absolute proof that a "complicated" history is only gonna hurt you so much if you happen to be extremely good at the thing you do. But we have plenty of Led Zeppelin albums to burn through on the list, so I'm not gonna get too deep in the weeds on the band's transgressions for now. But what I will say is that this is both, objectively, an immortal classic, and subjectively, not my favorite Led Zeppelin album, featuring songs that don't fully do it for me. But, in general, I would say that Zeppelin were the single British Invasion band who were best at running off with the blues sound and incorporating it in a way that ultimately was kind of their own. And I think they were one of the only rock bands of this time that managed to capture the raw power and stomp of genuine electric blues artists. And this is a *very* solid showing that displays the incredible full picture that Zeppelin was as a band. Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones all approached their instruments and performances here in individually iconic ways, and the result is one of the more solid full bands of all time. I think the best songs here are among Zeppelin's absolute best. Dazed and Confused (more or less written by Jake Holmes), Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (written by Anne Bredon), Communication Breakdown, and How Many More Times are among Zeppelin's greatest songs. The rest is also good, but I'm a little less floored. But I can't really rag on this, it's absolutely iconic, and largely lives up to the hype.

Enjoyable!

A cornerstone of modern rock music, This album is awesome.

Excellent

When I was a teenager (late 90s/early 00s), Led Zeppelin was my Beatles. Before I ever seriously got interested in "classic" punk rock, this kind of "hard blues" genre was the first 'old' genre that I was ever interested in. If I could go back and live through 1967-1977, I'd do it in a second (minus the Vietnam of it all). Living through the height of Cream, The Beatles at peak creativity (and dysfunction), the origins of Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, David Bowie, The Stooges, the rise and fall of Dust, ETC ETC ETC... and then see punk take off in 1977. What a time, man. This record is in the canon of greatest debut albums of all time, for sure. Is it perfect? No. Is any rock & roll truly perfect? Besides, I like a little muss. Out of curiosity, I did go back and listen to the first Blue Cheer record (released in 1968) just to get a direct comparison of the two albums. If I was tempted to complain about how many times Robert Plant says "baby" on this record, that Blue Cheer revisit confirmed it was just the thing back then; there's babies everywhere on that record too. If I would have been enthusiastic to hear Blue Cheer in '68, I would have loved this in '69. And then the Sabbath debut in '70, just to make sure I can lose my mind entirely. My new observation today was about how much proto-prog rock there is on this record. It kinda makes me sad that this could turn into prog, but I get it. God bless rock & roll.

7.8/10 A very influential record on the hard rock scene, Led Zeppelin I proved to be an electrifying debut for the legendary group. While a lot of this album is made of covers of old blues songs, differentiating this album from their later works, the band never fails to bring their own style and structure to these projects. I've always appreciated how dynamic the best Led Zeppelin tracks are, in addition to absolutely timeless riffs and arrangements. However, while the original tracks written by the band are consistently good, some of the cover songs suffer depending on how flexible the originals were to adapt into this heavier style. While I'm confident in saying tracks like "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" and "Dazed and Confused" are among some of the best covers/rearrangements in history, others like "You Shook Me" and "Black Mountain Side" sound like wading through molasses and undercut the energy and flow of the rest of the album. Nevertheless, the rawness of the album, its theatrical and dramatic nature, and its versatility in tackling subjects like destruction and devastation, but also love and sex make this more than just a transitional piece, it turns it into a beloved classic. Good Times Bad Time - 9 Babe I'm Gonna Leave You - 9 You Shook Me - 6 Dazed and Confused - 8 Your Time Is Gonna Come - 7 Black Mountain Side - 6 Communication Breakdown - 8 I Can't Quit You Baby - 7 How Many More Times - 8

Used to be obsessed with LZ and I do still really like them, but I don't think this album is exactly their best

I love Led Zeppelin, glad I got the chance to sit and listen to this album, I’m realizing I’m a sucker for rock like this

Not much to say. It's classic rock. It's Zeppelin. Maybe not my favorite album of theirs, but a crazy good debut. 4/5

Really good. Just classic rock done to the highest degree. Bit samey but still great.

Superb! Another album I'm already familiar with. I think this website is just stroking my ego. 1001 albums to listen to before you die? I think I'm halfway there lol. Anywho, Zeppelin fucking rocks. My favorite tracks are How Many More Times and Babe I'm Gonna Leave You.

lowkey hype as hell

Not their strongest offering, but a great intro to their discography. Rating: 7.5/10 Favorite Song: Babe I’m gonna leave you, how many more times

Classic.

John Bonham!

Is it their best? No, was it a statement of what was to come? Absolutely. Mid 4s.

Fantastic album from a legendary band. John Bohnam does something most drummers did not do until after him. He did more thank keep the beat, he played drums like Jimmy Page played guitar, which was to bring the rhythm to the foreground of the song.

Not even their best album, yet a monumental album in rock. Some all time classics on here. Very blues forward album. Vocals, guitars, drums all great. With there being at least 4 other Zeppelin albums I like more than this one, I couldn't give it 5 stars.

Not really my thing, but I see the artistry. I love how the tracks blend together so it feels more like a 45 minute jam session rather than a bunch of individual tracks.

Meget bra, men ikke perfekt.

Yikes. Robert Plant does NOT think highly of women here.

Way more funk to it than I would have thought, iconic tracks like Good Times Bad Times, a fun start to this adventure

Good album 👍 Already heard the whole thing before but a solid bunch Zeppelin songs

this album is fuckin weird. the first couple tracks are all round solid but then "you shook me" comes on and im kinda just left wondering if they took a huge collective bong rip between songs cos its suddenly all drawn out and sleepy and sludgy?? it sounds like they recorded this in the hyperbolic time chamber and now we're listening in regular time so its like 3 times the original length and kind of rules???? it stays that way for most of the rest of the album too, as if they blew everything on those first two songs (and like, "communication breakdown" i guess) then got really tired and started playing in slow motion. idk what happened but i like it a lot other than that i also enjoyed the organs on "your time is gonna come", and "black mountain side" got me feeling like im lost in mystic ruins again. so im basically having a good time with this one. not necessarily an album that gets the "i fucking love music" reaction outta me, but it still got a solid "yay :O3"

yeah baby rock and roll!!

did not love the last Zeppelin album i listened to but this one is pretty cool. i like the part in "You Shook Me" where Robert Plant makes his voice drop off like an air raid siren winding down

It was awesome! I’d heard some of the songs before, but this was my first time listening to the entire album. Not 5 stars just because it only has 9 songs

Not as strong as their later stuff, more bluesy, still great

Feels like I should enjoy it more, but honestly only about half of the songs were very good and the rest were just OK

One of the most highly rated albums on this list per our communal discussion, and likely one of the most famous albums of all time. In many ways it seems odd to consider 4 stars in any way "disappointing", but here that is below the average, is it not? This album is good, undeniably, but with such a reputation very little could live up to it, and it is a personal matter with my own tastes that so much of this album are covers. Led Zeppelin deserve their place in music's history, and I doubt many will dispute that, I was only surprised they got there blazing onto the scene with a great many covers, but it was a different era. A lot of power, strong vocals, and excellent riffs and beats, but not all I was hoping for from a band with such a throne. Good stuff, but I hope the next Led Zeppelin album I find on this list scratches that itch a touch more than what I got here. A solid start all the same, and sometimes that's all a worldchanger needs.

One of their best!

Great debut album, the blueprint for their later signature blues & rock style.

Só porque diz demasiadas vezes Baby, baby, baby…

Zeppelin baby

Awesome!

Are my ears not trained for this music? I did like it tho

definitely rocks. i never appreciated how unique the sound is. i don't wanna speculate on the blueprint or legacy or whatever, but that droning valhalla ass guitar vibe as a evocative template for the whole "vikings slaying dragons while rock music plays" aesthetic is super sick. favorite song is Babe I'm Gonna Leave You

Incredible, ground-breaking, energetic. Reduced from 5 to 4 due to Robert Plant singing the word 'baby' so often it's tiresome and corny.

Few bands are still womewhat soundsearching and yet deliver such masterpieces as Baby I'm gonna leave You and Dazed and Confused.

Listening session: april 24th, while commuting to internship Listened to before: heard one song before Thoughts: I’ve never listened much to Led Zeppelin, but man this album is great. The guitar work is top notch and I really like how they made songs their own when covering something Favourite tracks: Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Dazed and Confused, Good Times Bad Times

Waren ein paar Banger Songs dabei, aber bin mir nicht ganz sicher. ganz coole Atmosphäre an mancher Stelle auf jede Fall.

A good album some good albums I feel they have better album but it’s still a good album not perfect for me but still good

Five stars don't leave a lot of room for nuance. What we have here is not Led Zepplin's best. That's more left to II, possibly the underrated III, or Physical Graffiti. It's also basically an album of covers. While I get that a lot of bands of this era started with these cover filler tracks (aka The Beatles), it's not a true showcase of what they could do. So what do you rate this? 3 stars is reserved for that "it's not that bad but it's surely not good" era of murky middle that makes you wonder why albums were on this list. So move it up to a 4. But is it really a 4? I'm actually quite indifferent about this album in many ways. On the other hand, when this came out in 1969 I can only imagine what dropping the needle on this was like. And John Bohnam. John Bohnam back there on the kit is so, so good. But one must leave room for II and Physical Graffitti. Can four Zepplin albums earn five star ratings? Me thinks not. I also think this isn't so bad that it's a three. Sometimes I wish we went to 10 stars. This is a solid 6 or 7 on that ranking. Here, we're going with 4, but it's like a 4.2.

Really cool introduction to a pioneering rock band (even if they're just cribbing most of it from black artists)

Better than Coldplay

Album 172. Led Zeppelin (https://open.spotify.com/album/3ycjBixZf7S3WpC5WZhhUK?si=mQ180puOQe6RniBTkvq2RA) — Led Zeppelin (1969) Happy to get this classic rock album today. It's awesome and hard to believe that's just a debut. 4/5 Liked: — Good Times Bad Times — Babe I'm Gonna Leave You — Dazed and Confused — Your Time Is Gonna Come — Communication Breakdown

Me gusta la distorsión. Bien heavy.

Obviously great. But I really don’t like You Shook Me.

Dreamy music that puts you inside the tune and emotion. If you want an escape experience this is it.

This album has its historical value. The 70s sound, although it's a 1969 album, great riffs (or ripoffs, but at least they improved the original ideas), Bonham, JPJ and Page are incredible musicians... and there is Robert Plant. Overrated for sure... good vocalist, mediocre lyricist. All factors considered, it's a solid and heavy blues rock album. 7,8/10

While I find elements of this album a bit dated now, I’d love to time travel to 1969 and here how revolutionary this must have sounded.

Favorite songs: Good Times Bad Times, Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, Your Time Is Gonna Come, Communication Breakdown,

more bluesey than their other stuff, drums are always great. iv is better

heavy experience, absolutely powerful

Ok - his voice is not great without a lot of instrumentation to support it. I liked Babe I'm Gonna Leave You and Black Mountain Side the best. 3.5

Here’s a fun game. What band or artist had arguably the best song of their entire career as track one on their first album? For example: “Straight Outta Compton” - NWA; “Welcome to the Jungle” - Guns & Roses; “Black Sabbath” - Black Sabbath; “Blitzkrieg Bop” - The Ramones; “Head Like a Hole” - Nine Inch Nails; “More Than a Feeling” - Boston; “My Name is Jonas” - Weezer; “Blister in the Sun” - Violent Femmes; “Dog Days are Over” - Florence and the Machine; “I Wanna be Adored” - Stone Roses; “Let the Good Times Roll” - The Cars; “Time to Pretend” - MGMT; “See No Evil” - Television; “Running with the Devil” - Van Halen; “Radio Free Europe” - REM, and perhaps more than any of these others, “Good Times Bad Times” as the first track on this album. What an amazing introduction to one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Led Zeppelin has a lot of problems (blatant plagiarism of blues artists, pedophilia) and I have a lot of problems with Led Zeppelin (hearing them too much on classic rock radio growing up, a singer with a high-pitched voice, the annoying orgasmic moans he does) but I can’t ever bring myself not to think that they rock. You can be good at lots of things or you can be truly great at one thing and Led Zeppelin is truly great at rocking. That is enough for me to enjoy your music, despite all the issues associated with it.

no es mi gusto musical, pero muy bueno el instrumental. en algunas fue aburrido y me aturdió un poco.

It's good

Fue mí disfrutable el álbum, Gran variedad en ritmos y letras lo hacen muy entretenido

Fav: Good Times Bad Times Worst: You Shook Me

Que locura que sea un primer disco este. La mezcla de blues y rock que logran es impecable. El arte de la tapa siempre me pareció grandioso.

7 - GOOD

Discovered this album in college so it was a very inspirational an experimental time in my life.

A great, classic, rock album. Fantastic, fun to listen to.

Zep is one of the greatest bands in the world when they stick to hard rock and let the rhythm section drive things, and not as much when they deviate from that with organs, harmonicas and other bullshit. This album sticks to the formula on half the tracks ("Good Times, Bad Times" "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" "Dazed and Confused" "Communication Breakdown" and "How Many More Times") and that's enough to make this a really good album, if not necessarily a great one.

7/10 Not as heavy as I usually like but still very enjoyable.

Killer first album. We have to stan. Favorite tracks: Dazed & Confused, I Can't Quit You Baby, How Many Times.

Had not listened to this album before. Good grooves, recognizable riffs, great guitar solos. Heavy blues influence. Lots of songs about mean, mistreatin' women!
