Musically this was great, and I am sure based on the wiki that this tells a great story, however partly due to the language barrier it wasn't for me
I described this album as the monster mash song, not as good, too much kazoo. Inspite of all that I did enjoy parts of this album
Enjoyed this alot, did not expect to. Probably the best of this type of music
Great stuff, thin Lizzy meets wolf mother, first track is exceptional
This is a fantastic album with some incredible talent behind it. Highlights are bombtrack, know your enemy and wakeup
This album is fine, I really enjoyed the piano solo at end of uncertian smiles, not sure I would choose to listen to this again but I found it mostly inoffensive if not a product of its time
I enjoyed aspects of this album, it has very poignant meaning which also feels so relevant in today's world, but as an entire album I am not sure its for me. It reminded me of the Donald Glover stand up skit about old rap and buying a hat
I feel like I should have liked this album more than I did. It was a bit to country for my taste, had to control myself from yelling yeehaw a few times
Its a tad too Christian/southern rock for my taste. I dont think it's bad, just not what I wanted to listen to this morning
This was enjoyable, highlight track was traveling light for me, its not the best driving to work on Friday morning music but can see myself listening too again.
Fantastic album, some real highlights and well know "hits" deffo have to be in a certain mood to listen to this but we'll worth it
Ehhhh, its country music, I don't like country music, this was always going to be a struggle for me if I had to pick a highlight it would have been can't let go but unlikely I will ever listen to again
This was great, I was deeply concerned when the first few songs were go back to Africa and master race rock... however this was a great listen with many standouts weekend and cars and girls
I described this album as the monster mash song, not as good, too much kazoo. Inspite of all that I did enjoy parts of this album
This is not the album to listen too when you've just had your second covid jab, you're heading to work feeling awful, and you need a pick-me-up. Inspite of that, its fine, it's Leonard Cohen doing his stuff....2.5
Smoking room kinda jazz, I dug it, not sure if I would listen again but it was enjoyable
Incredible album the whole way through, if I had to give it a complaint, the last track is a bit shit but overall loved it
I liked the first song, rest was a bit samey, not bad, doubt I would listen to again
I feel I should like this more than I did, but I find the prixies a bit samey and never got the hype. Maybe I am a bad pixies fan as I only really like the hits. Highlight is probably is she weird
Do you like radiohead? Then you will probably like this album. It's fine but I "don't get" the radiohead hype myself. Highlights are optimistic and idioteque
So I had pixies earlier this week. I didn't hate that album but didn't love it either. Exact same reaction to this. It's fine, highlight track is headache
Strange brit poprock mix from early 90s. Was expecting blur/oasis got weird hybrid thing...didn't hate it, think I would have preferred blur or oasis
Some greats here.. alot of fluff, I find Metallica take ages to get to meat of song. One is a banger though
I enjoyed this alot more than expected, kinda felt like what the 90s would put over the Charlie's angels TV show
This was a tricky one for me to rate, her voice is incredible, I just don't like the style of music it's applied too. Although busy being blue is a great trac
This was great, not listened to this artist before will check out more of their stuff Jane says and summertime rolls where highlights
I enjoyed this for a Monday, it was very chilled and sounded like it should be over a movie. Not too sure I get why it's on this list
Yep 80s pop loved this. Reminded me of GTA Vice City. Posion Arrow is a banger
69 loves songs! 2hrs52mins. I get that these were like anti love songs but it still went on for too long and it's the first album I havent completed
Fantastic album with really great hits. Love she's so lose and the classic alright
I wanted to like this so bad, but every song just had something that annoyed me, from the random different voice singing 1 word to the guitar being made to scream, did not love
Yeah I unironically like Bon Jovi, its probably rock for your mum but it's harmless hair rock which is fun, enjoyed this album even if he is a bit of a bell
This was a fun poppy kinda album, it probably had some deep and dark brooding message that went right over my head but I enjoyed the sound to my ears
This was weird, fun but weird. I didn't super love this but far from hating it. Weird mix of ambient background music interspersed with metal/rap/country
This was pretty solid, almost the definition of post punk rock kinda. Will likely listen to again
Great album, like daft punk but less interesting, not a slight would listen to again
Quintessential metal, really enjoyed, right legnth, hits hard
Classic music which reminded me of all the fallout games. Great, unlikely to listen too again but still very solid
This was a hard listen too, I can probably appreciate that each song had its own levels to it that I couldn't appreciate but the overwhelming feeling was that it was all kind of dull and samey
Am I glad I listened to this? Yes, did I enjoy this...not to sure. I really like the concept and theory, just not sure if it can be executed
My first 5 star, had never listened to this and loved every song
Its pretty solid, someone pointed out to me that meg white is a very basic drummer and listening to this I think I agree. She's significantly more talented than me but doesn't feel like she adds anything to the album
The fact I had to check to make sure there wasn't something wrong with the car while listening to this says it all I feel
Heavy nu metal from my childhood, enjoyed this, deffo reminded me of being an angst riddled teenager
Great pop album, can't really pick any huge standout tracks but enjoyed pretty much all of it
Old rap, its fine, I liked being able to hear the original samples of some more recent/popular songs. But same story with old rap, doesn't feel like it has much of a story to tell
I dont enjoy country music, went into this knowing I wouldn't enjoy it. However, it's no where near as obnoxious as I thought
I mean its one of Bowie's best.
I've never really got the Arctic monkeys, I just don't really enjoy their stuff, the highlights are probably the hits but even then don't love it
Always thought I'd listened to Rau Charles but I haven't....turns out it's exactly how I imagined it
Complete trash, I didn't enjoy any of this, it was unbelievably obnoxious
Yeah this was paint by numbers rock and roll, throughly enjoyed
This was hugely entertaining and will listen to again
Enjoyed this alot, did not expect to. Probably the best of this type of music
Ehhhhh, this was very jazz heavy. It wasn't bad but can't think when I would ever listen too again
She has a great voice, but overall just didn't get this
One man and his acoustic guitar.. not bad but not soothing I will listen to again
This was solid, some great hits and have a soft spot for blondie anyways
Fantastic chilled album which will be played again
Great album starts off strong but gets weaker as it continues, still reccomended
Weird, just a guy talking and then some good music overall didn't dig it
This was solid, knew some tracks from this album but over all great album
Yeah this was very funky and had some great tracks in there, also my favorite song title ever
When I got this I rolled my eyes and groaned. It's actually really solid, California Dreamin' is a banger
Holy shit this was a surprise, I hated the other album, this one was fantastic
Odd, this had some good songs and some real shitty, four seasons in one day reminds me of school
I enjoyed this album so much , I listened to the Queen is dead after
Yeah, this hits pretty hard. Cream is a obvious highlight. Biggest gripe, they seem to do the register before every song, turning a 3 min song into a 6 min song
Unsurprisingly this wasn't good. Some of the music was tolerable but the wobbly voice was awful
Dull, uninspired trash. Each song goes on for 8 mins too long. And the album outstays its welcome
Average, the good is well know and the rest is fine, if not a bit samey
This is pretty great, I feel like it's every Jamiroquai album but still great
The suggested album goes on far too long, it's pretty good to start then drags quiet badly
Really unsure what to rate this, I think its probably better than I give it credit for m, but Jesus it's dour. Will have to come back to this again one day
Grrrl punk is a genre I wish to know more about, this was a fine introduction although at times I found her voice a bit wobbly
She has an great voice, some of the tracks are a bit shit though, starts strong and falls off from there
Enjoyed this, not the right weather or time of year for casual ska but still a great album
Ehhh, she's got a great voice, some tracks were good some just washed over me
Better than the last but still washed over me
Legit can't believe how much I enjoyed this album, feels like peak kayne. Exceptional
This wasn't as bad as I expected, it had some interesting songs and was more rocky than whiney
Solid but every song went on for a bit too long, still enjoyed. Also me and Mick got this album at same time
This was odd, I felt like I should have enjoyed this but I didn't. It makes me wonder why/hope we get names like scroobius pip on here but I somehow doubt it
This felt like weird kids music I kept expecting Carol vorderman to come out and teach me my 3x table
Solid stuff, thought I would just like the hits, then a great sax hit and I was sold
This blew me away, then I read the back story and wiki
Felt a bit like my first Dylan, easy listening and great stuff
This was fine, I don't get Jazz really so if you asked me why this was better than any of the other Jazz I had, I wouldn't have an answer
Started strong then just wafted off into nothingness. Not bad just parts that were forgotten
Never heard of krautrock, probably never going too again, repeated beats for 7 mins, not my jam
Had some good stand out tracks that reminded me of early 2000s kerrange. Most was just forgettable though
I really struggle to know why this Sinatra album is on vs any other. It's fine but it's all a bit samey to me , at least it played round Christmas
Great stuff, thin Lizzy meets wolf mother, first track is exceptional
Super overplayed album for me. It's probably good, I'm just jaded.
Not awful but a bit samey, just kinda droned on at times
Haunting voice which I love but a whole album gets a bit samey and dull
What's this? A radiohead album I don't full dull and actively enjoy.. It really is the end of times
Coldest take in the world. This album is good, imagine is fine but reminds of the cringe viral video at start of covid.
This took far too long to get anywhere even remotely interesting. Not for me
Musically this was great, and I am sure based on the wiki that this tells a great story, however partly due to the language barrier it wasn't for me
Wavering between a 3-4, biggest issue is each song goes on too long however le freak is a banger
The gets a 3 based on the album track. The rest just kinda blends into nothingness its not bad but its not earth shattering
Utter wank, this holds the "award" of being one of so far 2 albums I couldn't finish. His voice, the "music" and the whole premise behind the album was awful, if I could give zero I would, nothing enjoyable about this at all
This was okay, I am not sure what doesn't click with me on this but it just seems fine...
Far too cool for a Monday in January, still this was decent although suffered from Mr Hayes refusal to sing for parts and instead talk for 8 mins
This was surprisingly great, really reminded me of early dropkick murphys
My wife made me a cake once, she threw all the ingredients into a bowl, mixed and tossed it into oven. 30 mins later we had some bits of really good cake, but most was just a raw flour and egg mess.
Trippy, groovy, fantastic. The noises hendrix squeals out of his guitar blow my mind
Yeah great 90s early 2000s rap. Lyrically great, amazing voice and some real gems
Not as good as I was hoping. I think it should be a 4 but I know I'll never listen to it again so getting a 3
This was good, but all I could think was audioslave is better, not sure I'd listen to again because of how much I prefer audioslave. Chris Cornell is a legend though RIP
I really enjoyed this, lyrically hard hitting, highlight were ballard of a thin man and tombstone blues. I do totally get why people don't dig his voice, but it works for me
I just dont get it, this has really divided opinions where most people I've spoken too hate this, but the Internet adores it and I just find it boring. At least if it was bad I would have something to say about it
70s punk, feel like we've had a lot of 70s punk and it's fine but I'm getting a tad bored of it
I really don't get it. One of the songs I had to mute because it was squeeling and I thought something was wrong with my car
Ibiza cream classic, this was pretty great and a change from what I've been getting recently
Lyrically intretsing, my main thought however was this should have been the soundtrack for the rip off version of nightmare before christmas
Is this the definition of swamp rock? It better than the other album I listened to, but still not for me. Less obnoxious then I expected however
Dripping in 90s cheese, when it hits is very good, but when it misses its downright awful. It hits more than misses but I cannot shake the feeling that computers are working overtime to give it that sound. It's a 3
America...fuck yeah. This was good tbf, really enjoyed dancing in the dark
Yep, this impressed me alot more than I anticipated. Its a bit dad rock but turns out I quiet like that. The first song immediately got it turned up
Fantastic, Eleanor Rigby is a tune and yellow submarine reminds me of being 10 singing it a at school
Dull, just blurred into one thing, forgettable cali indie
Dripping in 80s cheese but much better than I thought it was going to be
Very county and western, very yeehaw, very dated, very much not my thing
Powerful, hard hitting metal, iconic if not slightly showing its age in some places
That's entertainment. Enjoyable albeit slightly same and safe at times
People have described this as experimental. I'm more in the obnoxious camp, his voice never seems to sync up with the music and is all over the place
More Springsteen, its good but I've had better
I think there are better Stevie Wonder albums to come, this is fine, if not a tad forgettable
I felt like this was the start of a punk movement, but then I saw when it came out so now not sure. Its enjoyable enough but doubt I'll listen again
Largely forgettable, I'm sure there's a better rod Stewart album out there, his voice us very unique
I didnt enjoy this, it washed over me and I have no real memory of it at all
Yeah a tad dad rocky but I quite enjoyed this
I enjoyed this, my directors mocked me for enjoying it and I'm still not sure why.
Very enjoyable, I prefer Revolver but this still feels special
So I like it alot more than I expected too. I still think freebird goes on for far too long, but simple man is very good. I'm not sure if I would listen to again, but I think if I was to listen to a Skynyrd album, this would probably be the one.
This was very good ol' Santana is pretty good at the guitar it turns out
Yeah this was nice...washed over me a but, last song was great however
Definitely more annoying, surprising how little I enjoyed this
Enjoyed this alot more on second listen, it's funny and well put together, his voice gets a tad annoying at times but still worth your time
Its unapologetically getting a biased 4. I have weird (maybe Freudian) memories of this album so was impossible to listen to objectively....
Throughly enjoyed this, weired in places but incredible in others
Yeah this really impressed me different in areas but worthy of a re-listen. Kinds felt a bit like Coldplay meets gorillaz but was also its own animal
Treads a very fine between minimalistic and dull but I think it juuuust pulls it off. Not one to regularly listen to but still enjoyable
Maybe I'm just dumb, but I always assumed the doors were more dour and depressing, this shit rocked and was much more up tempo and lively
This was a bit all over the place but I still enjoyed it alot
80s synth cheese, yes I'm game. Got weaker as it went on but still enjoyable
Yeah, okay, should probably re-listen too one day
Its elvis, I'm not sure why this is better or worse than any other elvis...it fine
Disorganised mess and the song about onions can get in the sea
Yeah traditional UK punk which is fine
Enjoyed this so much more than expected, best sabbath album so far
I hate being "that guy" who hates Coldplay just because it's the British thing to do. Having said that, man this is dull AF the hits aren't even great and super overplayed and the non hits are so forgettable
I was weirdly disappointed by this, found it very sleepy and uninteresting
Wow, this was so much more enjoyable than let England shake and the other one she did.
Good stuff, not as good as last album, and the random song with the American vocalist was awful
Really enjoyed this, felt like it told a story and the audience involvement oddly added to it
Its got some great hits on it, but the in-between hits are a bit fillery. It's enjoyable but I don't think I would ever listen to whole album again
Truly great grunge punk, can't believe I've never listened to this before
This depressingly, kinda blows, money for nothing is fine and the title track is a banger but everything else felt like filler
I enjoyed this, but I think was expecting a 5 star. Still was pretty gretab
Eh, not great felt very disorganised, but jackass theme was lol
This is wild... its not good, but its a hell of an experience
