A nice change of pace. Really enjoyed it as I often forget about them when Roses etc are to hand.

Glory Box is a great tune but the rest is all very trippy and background music style. Wouldn't make you sit up and take notice and actually gets annoying after awhile

If you took out the vocals/rapping it's actually musically very interesting. Some tracks are very good just ruined by their shouting. Sabotage a classic in any case.

Sometimes I found myself trying to find a reason to not give it 5 stars knowing that they have better but that's wrong. As a standalone, 5 was a no brainer. Very enjoyable and as it's short and snappy, ended up listening to it more.

4 brilliant songs and the rest just plodded along and felt tame in comparison. Still a great album and an enjoyable listen.

I really enjoyed it. Hadn't heard of them before and right up my alley. Some of the lyrics were a bit of shock value.

Just a classic with 3 of the best songs ever along with some other very strong songs. One or two cheesy ones but still great.

If I could give less than 1, I would. Painful to listen to. Hard to believe that shit like this exists let alone is on a list 1001 Albums......maybe it's the last album you're supposed to hear before you die so that you want it to end quicker.

I always find it hard to rate albums like this as we obviously don't have the same social environment now than when it was released. Dylan spoke to people, looked at society and said something. I think we miss out on some of the importance of that now but rating the music and how I enjoyed, it's a 4 star. Some of the songs were samey - in rhythm and tone. Overall very enjoyable

I enjoyed his albums immediately after this more but still enjoyed the sound. Some songs were very similar and seemed to blend into one another (think it's just the tone of his voice as it rarely changes) otherwise nice but don't think I'd be listening again.

Apart from Sweet Love, all the other songs sounded the same to me. Nothing bad, just not my cup of tea.

On a first listen it was fun, upbeat and something different. On a 2nd listen, it didn't excite me as much but some songs were very good (particularly Rock Lobster and Dance the mess around)

I really enjoyed it and listened to it a few times to try to get a full grasp of it. I loved Pleasant Street as it kicked on a bit, wish more if the songs had been a little more upbeat but that's not any criticism. His voice is great, something that really draws you in.

If there were a 3.5 I'd give that. It's better than average and some of it is top notch (3 hits in particular) but the rest just felt like shouting and grrrrrrr! Heavy metal for the sake of it

That was a lot of synth. Started poorly, peaked in the middle with Sweet Dreams and tailed off after. Won't be listening again.

Jesus, that was boring. A tough slog. The intro and 2nd song made me hopeful but then it just turned to same beat, same sound over and over.

Almost a 5. I love this album, it plays out like a movie. Very song is completely different but carries on the storyline. There are some phenomenal songs on this that I still listen to regularly but it does sound a little dated, naff and clumsy almost 20 years later.

Her voice is amazing, it holds your attention. 'Who knows where the time goes' is a simply stunning song. But I loved something from every track. I'll be listening to this a lot more

Very relaxing to listen to but that's about all it did for me. Hadn't a clue what they were going on about but it sounded nice. Won't be seeking them out again though.

It's a great collection of songs but loses a star as I don't think a Live or compilation album can be judged the same as studio albums in their own right. Especially as this "Live" album was taken from 3 different concerts. The songs themselves were great, but I prefer the studio versions in nearly all cases

A thoroughly brilliant album. So so many great songs and iconic sounding ones. Her voice is so distinctive and she uses it so well to weave through the lyrics.

Ya.....don't know what to say about that album. Very much of its time and genre so I didn't dislike it but not much to get interested in with it.

It was a strange listen. Some tracks were really interesting but others just bored me. A sound similar to Death Cab etc

I generally like this sound but just didn't seem to click with me. I don't really like his voice either. The Killing Moon is a great track but overall fell flat

This really surprised me - particularly the first few tracks. I was really enjoying it but then it got a bit weird lyrically.

Hmmm. I've also found it hard to match the adulation that people have towards Bruce. I've always known there was something but that I just wasn't "getting" it. This is one album that made me think that I wasn't missing out on anything. It offers very little. Heavily centred around the stories within the lyrics but just read a book if that's what you like!

I have to say that I enjoyed it. My tastes have changed since I first liked it but still got me interested. Some of the tracks are a bit long and laboured but 3 absolute classics too.

I LOVE Queen. But I think this is only a 4 star. Some very cringey songs on it, as there always is on their albums, but felt there wasn't enough strength in the tracks to warrant more than 4. Killer Queen, Now I'm Here, Lily of the Valley and Laps of the Gods revisited are amazing.

It's an interesting album for someone not a fan of Hip/Hop or Garage etc. Some great beats throughout and catchy tunes. I found myself more interested in it than I thought I would be.

Uch......a soundtrack - really? Pointless including something like this on a 1001 list. Each track was penned to accompany a scene so totally lost as a standalone piece.

It's almost a 5 star album by default. Has the reputation, has no weak song, some hits, iconic songs and every song offers something different. I just came away from listening to it having not loved the experience - really weird.

Enjoyed it overall. Epic is.....epic! Nothing else really stood out (apart from cover of War Pigs) but it was surprisingly good listen

It's not a genre that I fully subscribe to usually but I did enjoy this. It's got a good tempo throughout and keeps you rocking! I probably won't listen to much more to them but hey, now I know!

He's not my cup of tea personally and the genre is usually one that doesn't awaken much in me but......I think this album is genius. It flows so well, it grabs you at times, keep you wanting more, great beats, great use of samples and styles of music. Just love it

There are some all time classics on this album but some of the album tracks are weaker and don't stand the test of time. He was always a bit of a jokey figure but when I looked back on his catalogue, he's had a lot of good songs and hits

Yup.....that was good! Right up my street. Will def be listening much more. It might get a 5 star from me then (only thing holding it back was lack of standout tracks but overall quality is there)

Loved it. Goes against what I said about Live albums being a cop out for inclusion. Never thought an hour of just piano could hold my attention so well.

Yup, that does it for me. A sound ahead of it's time. Some absolutely brilliant songs and any others are still of a very good standard. Each song offers something to take away.

She's got something about her has young Lorde. A unique voice.

A new artist for me and she intrigued me. Surprisingly enjoyed it.

On a first listen I was very excited as I'd had such a bad run of albums. It's got balls and some great tracks. But on a second listen, it didn't hold up as a whole. Still very good, just not great

A very good listen. A lot of rawness. My Generation and The Kids are alright are all time greats. The covers do take some gloss off it overall.

This ended up being a really strange listen. On one side I should have liked the sound but I just couldn't get to grips with it. Didn't enjoy it but couldn't work out exactly why.

It's brilliant. A masterpiece of her life's work. So we'll sung and produced. Tears Dry on Their Own is my favourite.

I could picture lots of people giving 5 as it's got some big hits but the substance isn't there for me. It's good and she's got a great voice but she knows it and often over uses it. Gets boring after awhile.

Jesus ...I mean really. Almost 3 hours? It's cool that people try to do some different but this got annoying. Too long to enjoy the songs. It felt like a chore. Most of the songs themselves are nice listens but nothing to get you excited too much. They could have picked 15 of the best songs and it could have been a very good album.

I love it and them. This album has it all. It's got all time greats, good rock songs and a lot of fun tunes too. Still don't know what "I'm in love with my car" is all about though Roger.

This is the Day is such a good track. It kind of casts a shadow over everything else. A very good album and will listen again for sure.

Maybe a 3 is a bit low but I felt it lacked a really stand out track (apart from the cover of Mrs.Robinson)
