A parody of itself at this stage
Meh apart form Bongo Bong!
2 great tracks - the rest very samey and boring
A tough listen as Neil Young's voice just goes through me and clouds everything else
A nice change of pace. Really enjoyed it as I often forget about them when Roses etc are to hand.
Glory Box is a great tune but the rest is all very trippy and background music style. Wouldn't make you sit up and take notice and actually gets annoying after awhile
Utter tripe
Better than her other album but only just
Some good tunes but that voice seems to get worse. For The Turnstiles is the worst vocals I've ever heard.
Not my favourite of his but a nice listen
Well that was weird. Didn't know what to make of it. Was interesting but not enjoyable.
Took awhile to get used to. It's along the lines of stuff I like but not quite it.
Really enjoyable
It was ok, some good stuff but they were never my thing
Surprised by that. Enjoyed the majority. The voice and sound reminded me of Editors and Joy Division - no bad thing!
Great fun and a very very good album. Not quite 5 star but ran close!
Had never heard of them. Some good parts, then it got a bit tiresome as it went on.
Very enjoyable and surprising. Will lead me to listen to them more
A bit forgetful. Not bad, just boring.
A very good listen. With one all time classic track and the rest are strong songs. Didn't think there's a song I didn't like. I'll be listening to this album again for sure.
Enjoyed it. Weren't on my 60's radar.
If you took out the vocals/rapping it's actually musically very interesting. Some tracks are very good just ruined by their shouting. Sabotage a classic in any case.
Sometimes I found myself trying to find a reason to not give it 5 stars knowing that they have better but that's wrong. As a standalone, 5 was a no brainer. Very enjoyable and as it's short and snappy, ended up listening to it more.
4 brilliant songs and the rest just plodded along and felt tame in comparison. Still a great album and an enjoyable listen.
I really enjoyed it. Hadn't heard of them before and right up my alley. Some of the lyrics were a bit of shock value.
Just a classic with 3 of the best songs ever along with some other very strong songs. One or two cheesy ones but still great.
Very enjoyable, every song offered something different. Time after Time an all time classic.
Some bits ok but it just went on and on. I know it's exploratory but not for me.
Really disappointed by it. It's too long and bored me for the most part.
A nice listen but nothing to get you too excited
Took a few listens to get to grips with it. No real stand out track but no bad tracks either. I could see how the sound influenced a lot of other bands in the coming years.
If I could give less than 1, I would. Painful to listen to. Hard to believe that shit like this exists let alone is on a list 1001 Albums......maybe it's the last album you're supposed to hear before you die so that you want it to end quicker.
A nice listen but a bit one paced
It was ok, nothing offensive just not my style
A very good listen, songs complemented each other without being samey. Just lacked a stand out track
Feel like we say this a lot but not my favourite of theirs. This was the turning point where it became a bit too dancey for my liking.
The first album in this list that I bought when released. It's a great listen, short snappy and catchy. Every song offers something different.
Very enjoyable, some iconic songs and sound.
Didn't quite do it for me. All felt a bit samey by the end.
Very good. Virginia Plains is a cracking song. The Bob medley was good too
Meh....
Enjoyed it, was upbeat and fun with some good beats. Not a clue what the lad was saying obviously.
A great album, very good listen. Not far off 5
Enough iconic songs and sound for it to be 5 stars.
That was very good. Finished off with 2 top drawer songs.
Just enough crackers to give it a 4 star. 16 songs in total and most I was bored by
Weren't on my radar but I did enjoy it. Just lacked any stand out moments.
Never quite too off in terms of pace but not a bad listen.
Thought it was the perfect album. Nothing I didn't like on it.
Really enjoyed. She was always someone that I just never listened to as saw it as too "arty" but that surprised me.
It was nice but just one paced
A strange listen
Such a good album, just love it.
Middle of the road stuff. Probably would have liked it more if I listened more. Reminded me of a lot of other bands that came later.
Some very good tracks and the sound is very much of its time
Weaker on listening than I was expecting. Only a few tracks that I'd actually want to listen to again. Disappointed by it as not a fan of too much of their Irish/folk stuff. But still, any album with such a strong opener grabs your attention
Lacked a standout track but thoroughly enjoyed the sound. Will listen to it again.
Love it, love them.
3 is prob too low but 4 was too high. Enjoyable, particularly nice to recognise Celebrity Skin and Malibu but the other tracks just didn't kick on in the same way
Very enjoyable and surprising. A lot of different sounds and all of them very good.
Love his voice but the songs just didn't grab me, nice and all just felt a bit one paced for the most part. Still enjoyable but middle of the road
Didn't do it for me at all, was wishing for the end. Although I was expecting Triple H to enter the arena at any given moment!
Thought that was very poor. Boring. Every Breath is lovely and all but christ I couldn't wait for it to end
Found it tough to finish as not my cup of tea. Hard to judge it if you really don't like it.
Stone cold classic. Every track is brilliant
It was ok. She has a nice voice but not my taste in music so never grabbed me
Oh god it was never ending! Lovely background music but Christ it went on! More of an opus than an album.
Very enjoyable, fast paced with good punchy lyrics. Love Feargal Sharkey's voice too
A nice relaxing listen, nothing stands out though. Lyrics felt personal to oul Marv.
Very enjoyable, some great tunes on it
3 on a first listen but it's one that would probably grow on me more
Not my thing but it wasn't bad. Some interesting bits and it was good background music to bop your head to
Very nearly a 5 as massively enjoyed
A very good album. Not too much of a fan of Morrissey but that album was enjoyable, it changed pace and got me excited
Good background, feet tapping, head bopping music
Very very enjoyable. There's a lot more substance there than I had realised
It kind of passed me by apart from one or two bits to make me prick an ear. Soft, enjoyable listen though.
Not my thing
Upbeat and enjoyable. Started off with a cracker
Always found that they had an interesting sound but I can never quite get to like their stuff.
Loved it, went back to the old problem of knowing that they have better albums. Maybe lacked some really big songs on this one
It's very good, need to listen to him more
Middle of the road stuff. 2 hits but even they're just above average
Very good sound and some crackers
Enjoyable listen and would be higher rated if I listened more I think.
Nothing aurally offensive
Not far off 5 star, a great album
Didn't quite grab me as much as I expected. Apart from "Nothing compares 2 U" there wasn't much to get excited about
Just nothing to interest me
Weird, experimental stuff but it just dragged on. First few tunes were decent but fell off a cliff with boredom by they end
It grew on me after a 2nd listen. I like the rawness
Enjoyable, very close to a 4 but would need more listens
Seriously good music. I wanna be your dog is one of the coolest songs ever
Enjoyable, a sound very like Talking Heads. You'd either love it or hate it
5 star all day long. A brilliant album and influenced so many bands that dominated the indie rock era of the noughties
For the most part felt like noise. Couldn't concentrate on it
Middle of the road stuff
It better the more I listened. 2 real stand out tracks
Nice relaxing stuff
1 stand out song (Been caught stealing) but the rest was enjoyable
Very enjoyable, usually don't enjoy Live albums as much but this got me interested
Very very good. Ended up listening to a lot more of their stuff
Full respect for him as Cheese in The Wire but the genre isn't my thing.
Very nearly a 5, still sounds fresh after nearly 70 years
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Had never heard of them but Razorlight obviously have - very similar sound.
It was average, nothing too bad but little to get excited over either
I always find it hard to rate albums like this as we obviously don't have the same social environment now than when it was released. Dylan spoke to people, looked at society and said something. I think we miss out on some of the importance of that now but rating the music and how I enjoyed, it's a 4 star. Some of the songs were samey - in rhythm and tone. Overall very enjoyable
I enjoyed his albums immediately after this more but still enjoyed the sound. Some songs were very similar and seemed to blend into one another (think it's just the tone of his voice as it rarely changes) otherwise nice but don't think I'd be listening again.
Apart from Sweet Love, all the other songs sounded the same to me. Nothing bad, just not my cup of tea.
On a first listen it was fun, upbeat and something different. On a 2nd listen, it didn't excite me as much but some songs were very good (particularly Rock Lobster and Dance the mess around)
I really enjoyed it and listened to it a few times to try to get a full grasp of it. I loved Pleasant Street as it kicked on a bit, wish more if the songs had been a little more upbeat but that's not any criticism. His voice is great, something that really draws you in.
If there were a 3.5 I'd give that. It's better than average and some of it is top notch (3 hits in particular) but the rest just felt like shouting and grrrrrrr! Heavy metal for the sake of it
That was a lot of synth. Started poorly, peaked in the middle with Sweet Dreams and tailed off after. Won't be listening again.
I was surprised that I enjoyed the majority of songs. It's a short, snappy and a simple album but the sound just worked for me. I might not listen in its entirety but would make me respect them a lot more
Jesus, that was boring. A tough slog. The intro and 2nd song made me hopeful but then it just turned to same beat, same sound over and over.
Almost a 5. I love this album, it plays out like a movie. Very song is completely different but carries on the storyline. There are some phenomenal songs on this that I still listen to regularly but it does sound a little dated, naff and clumsy almost 20 years later.
Thought it was brilliant. Had never heard of them but loved each and every track. 8 songs so it's a short album but every song offers something different. Her voice is amazing, it holds your attention. 'Who knows where the time goes' is a simply stunning song. But I loved something from every track. I'll be listening to this a lot more
Didn't interest me in the slightest. Not my scene
Another that wasn't to my tastes so never got me interested
Hard to fairly judge as some songs ate hidden in Spotify but I'd respect the talent from what I did listen to.
It was nice easy listening. All felt very familiar (even the songs I hadn't heard before). Might be higher rated if it was longer and tracks deviated a bit but hey......it's 60 years ago
Very relaxing to listen to but that's about all it did for me. Hadn't a clue what they were going on about but it sounded nice. Won't be seeking them out again though.
It's a stupidly good album. No need to say more really.
Enjoyable even though not to my taste
Took me a 2nd listen to decide whether I liked it or not. It's got enough to warrant more listens. I like the laid back style of vocals, it's really interesting.
Some good tunes but the style annoyed me after awhile
It's a great collection of songs but loses a star as I don't think a Live or compilation album can be judged the same as studio albums in their own right. Especially as this "Live" album was taken from 3 different concerts. The songs themselves were great, but I prefer the studio versions in nearly all cases
Surprised to have enjoyed most of the songs. Some very good bass and rhythm
Not my scene, could have been 1 song long and I would have gotten what it was all about
It was nuts. Original album is 15mins long with 14 songs packed into it! Love some of it, other bits just shouting "Red Tape"
A thoroughly brilliant album. So so many great songs and iconic sounding ones. Her voice is so distinctive and she uses it so well to weave through the lyrics.
Didn't do it for me. I was excited when I saw the album came up but most of the songs were flat and left me feeling disinterested
A very strange mix but I enjoyed for the most part.
Really enjoyable and new to me. Reminded me of Jellyfish. Will be listening to more for sure.
Listened with interest to change my perception of him but ended up wishing for it to end. Not my thing
I really enjoyed this album but don't think it deserves more than a 3. Kept me bopping but was samey by the end. Glad I listened and that I know there's another Arrested Development
Nice background music, enjoyed it
An enjoyable album but all the songs just seemed to sound the same after awhile. They're a great band but very one dimensional
Ya.....don't know what to say about that album. Very much of its time and genre so I didn't dislike it but not much to get interested in with it.
It was a strange listen. Some tracks were really interesting but others just bored me. A sound similar to Death Cab etc
I generally like this sound but just didn't seem to click with me. I don't really like his voice either. The Killing Moon is a great track but overall fell flat
This really surprised me - particularly the first few tracks. I was really enjoying it but then it got a bit weird lyrically.
Hmmm. I've also found it hard to match the adulation that people have towards Bruce. I've always known there was something but that I just wasn't "getting" it. This is one album that made me think that I wasn't missing out on anything. It offers very little. Heavily centred around the stories within the lyrics but just read a book if that's what you like!
I have to say that I enjoyed it. My tastes have changed since I first liked it but still got me interested. Some of the tracks are a bit long and laboured but 3 absolute classics too.
Started off well with 2 great tracks then just seemed to slow down and almost get boring.
I really enjoyed this, maybe I was just in the mood for something funky and upbeat. A great listen in any case.
I don't consider myself an Oasis fan but this is a great album. Some ridiculously good songs on it that still sound fresh 25 years later.
Love the idea of a concept album. Many of the songs are nice but I won't be listening in again.
Loved this! So gritty and with serious balls. Each track offered aural pleasure. Not quite a 5 star as lacked a real stand out track or two but seriously good.
A weird listen. Great voice obviously but the beat and tempo got annoying after awhile
A fun listen. I really couldn't work out what genre it supposed to be but good nonetheless
Really enjoyed this. Great raw sound and rhythm. Will be added to my playlist for sure.
Prog rock really isn't my thing. It's lovely to listen to but doesn't excite me. Just meanders along for the most part.
I can see how they influenced so many bands. Just didn't grab me as much as I expected as they were always on my radar.
I LOVE Queen. But I think this is only a 4 star. Some very cringey songs on it, as there always is on their albums, but felt there wasn't enough strength in the tracks to warrant more than 4. Killer Queen, Now I'm Here, Lily of the Valley and Laps of the Gods revisited are amazing.
It's an interesting album for someone not a fan of Hip/Hop or Garage etc. Some great beats throughout and catchy tunes. I found myself more interested in it than I thought I would be.
A new one to me and an enjoyable listen. One that might score higher the more I listened. I liked the mix of genres
Uch......a soundtrack - really? Pointless including something like this on a 1001 list. Each track was penned to accompany a scene so totally lost as a standalone piece.
It's almost a 5 star album by default. Has the reputation, has no weak song, some hits, iconic songs and every song offers something different. I just came away from listening to it having not loved the experience - really weird.
Enjoyed it overall. Epic is.....epic! Nothing else really stood out (apart from cover of War Pigs) but it was surprisingly good listen
Really enjoyable high energy album. Will for sure listen to them again
It's not a genre that I fully subscribe to usually but I did enjoy this. It's got a good tempo throughout and keeps you rocking! I probably won't listen to much more to them but hey, now I know!
He's not my cup of tea personally and the genre is usually one that doesn't awaken much in me but......I think this album is genius. It flows so well, it grabs you at times, keep you wanting more, great beats, great use of samples and styles of music. Just love it
It was easy listening. Nothing to get me overly excited.
A great album with a really good sound and atmosphere. Some of their greats on here too. I know not to everyone's taste but works for me
Inoffensive. I listened to it and almost immediately forgot it all pretty much straight away. Still a nice listen though
They're their own Genre really. It's lovely to listen to, just nothing to get too excited about.
It's a classic of the genre. Some beautiful songs on this (Into the Mystic, Moondance, And it stoned me, everyone, glad tidings)
2 classic tracks but apart from that, nothing strong enough to warrant more listens.
I've always found him a strange artist. Could never quite get to grips with what people loved so much but he's unique so that's one thing I suppose.
A lovely listen
Really enjoyed that. She's always been on my intrigue list and not disappointed
.....another soundtrack. Not for me. A waste of space on a list.
It was only ok, nothing overly exciting or that I haven't heard before in some way
I thought about only giving a 4 star rating but then I looked back at the absolute quality of BOTR, Jet, Let me Roll it and Nineteen..... just top notch, best in class songs.
I LOVE Queen but their albums are always a strange mix. Just 4 star for me as the quality is still really high
Really enjoyable, is a definite to be listened to again
Utter tripe for the most part
A nice listen. "Even after all" and "love gets sweeter" are great tunes, were stuck in my head for the day
Very enjoyable listen, it's on the rotation
Very enjoyable. I'd never heard of them before but thought the sound was great. Will def add to the rotation.
It was EJ so was always going to have that sound and some lovely tunes. Apart from Tiny Dancer, it just lacked a wow factor
Some good tracks on it, just didn't overly excite often enough. She's got a very distinctive voice which is great.
Really enjoyed this surprisingly. I always found him a bit tough to enjoy but this hit home. Great lyrics and storytelling. I'll need to go back over his stuff to pick out the bits I like now
Was a new artist for me but having read up on him, it's obvious how he influenced those that namechecked him as an influence. Was a nice listen, just never made me stand up and take note at any point
A brilliant album. I need to listen to them more but they're just never high on my list for some reason
Not my thing at all.
Really fun album. Almost self aware and speaking directly to the listener. Will be sure to switch it on when in need of something fun and upbeat
A nice listen, one to go back over again.
It's a great album but not one that I entirely liked and probably wouldn't seek out to listen in its entirety again. However, with Welcome to the Jungle, Paradise City, Sweet Child of Mine and Nightrain all on one album it can't be anything but 5 star.
Apart from title track, nothing to get overly interested in. Meandered along
A fabulous album.....another from Pixies. Can't fault anything with it. Has balls with some literally Gigantic songs. Where is my mind is an all time classic song.
I feel I missed something from this album, it was a good sound but couldn't quite understand why it would have been on the list as it's so recent. Didn't really sound too different from a lot of other similar sounding artists. Will have to listen a few more times. Enjoyable nonetheless, just not "wow, this is great"
A superb album. Has everything you'd want music to be.
Quite a unique sound and wasn't entirely sure if I was enjoying it but it interested me nonetheless. His lyrics draw you in but the delivery of them can become quite samey.
I had always put the Mondays in a bit of a box and thought they were more novelty than substance. Delighted to have been able to correct that. 'Pills' is a great listen, with some great hits
Middle of the road music. Nothing overly exciting but not bad either
A 4 by default as some great anthems on it. Still unsure about some of the other tracks - can't work out if they're filler or good album tracks.
I dithered whether this was a 4 or 5 star album but fuck it, 5 amazing tracks on it so deserves it
A strange listen but kind of what I was expecting from them. One I wouldn't be seeking out again
There's nothing wrong with it and perfectly nice but just down get why it's on the list. She's got a lovely voice but don't see what's any different to multiple other artists in a similar vain.
A great listen. Some weaker tracks so perhaps could and should have been 5 Star
A nice listen and glad I got to hear such a good voice
It was such a lovely listen. But......it's a compilation so loses some stars for that.
Very chilled, enjoyed it
A good sound. Really enjoyed "Spend, Spend, Spend"
A great listen. Just lacked some of the real balls out tracks that you'd become accustomed to with Zeppelin in later albums. There was lots of instrumental/jamming tracks (albeit they were still great)
Really enjoyed it. He knows how to interact with the crowd and the sound is great. Still don't think "Live" albums should be included but hey - the fuck do I know
I smiled when I saw this was today's album. It's what music should do - evoke emotion so it's a 5 star for me.
Not my thing but it was quite relaxing to listen to
Enjoyable but nothing really jumped out at me as wow
I think further listens would make me appreciate it more but just a 3 for now
Some of caught my interest but it was fast and a lot to take in
A very strange listen. Not one that I could say that I enjoyed
Didn't quite do it for me although a good sound. Think I'd need more to start to really like it
Apart from Good Times, it kind of bored me. Very repetitive.
I like them and the sound a lot so maybe 4 is a bit high but fuck it, I like it.
I think this caught me in a good mood as I really enjoyed when I don't usually like Country style. Beautiful voice and tempo throughout.
Why does he have to shout so much, Jesus wept!
Very enjoyable. Helped changed my view of Pulp. Will listen more
It was more enjoyable than I expected but still not too much of substance
Found it a tough listen. Was really expecting to love it. Peaches is a knockout though
A nice listen. I'm always torn on Tom Waits. Sometimes I love him and other times thinks it's mad an unlistenable.
I loved it and now love them. Such a unique sound and so upbeat but with balls and substance.
A strange listen. nothing made me sit up and take notice but obviously, they've influenced bands to follow. That singing style doesn't appeal to me either.
Rush were always on my list to get to. Glad this popped up as gave me the excuse to dip in. It left me feeling a little flat, good prog rock but just not for me.
Not my type of music. some of the beats were foot tapping but ruined by lyrics. it's like what you'd get if you asked a 12 year old to write some rap lyrics.
Nice easy listening from a simpler time
Very nearly a 5 star but it's just too long imo. Could have knocked off a few weaker songs and would have been a phenomenon
Atmospheric and relaxing to listen to
It's a good listen. Have always liked her/them. Nothing to really grab me but would listen again for sure (background music)
A mad listen and different. Wouldn't go there again but glad I know there's a French rock scene like that!
Loved it. Added to rotation
Started off strange but got betterm I liked it but felt it lacked a hook on many songs.
Some classics, others very enjoyable but way way way way too long. Glad it ended
Enjoyable listen. I still have a thing against "live" albums on this 1001 list. Especially when taken from multiple concerts.
Middle of the road country but very listenable.
Pure class
Enjoyable and good timing on Xmas Eve!
Yup, I see it now. I get it. Great album, had balls but also moments of reflection. Top drawer music.
A beautiful album. Really made me stop and listen.
Didn't do it for me. Even as a short album, just seemed to drag on.
Didn't do it for me overall. I was hopeful but it just never kicked on
It was only ok. Won't be listening again
Only ok.
I thought it was fun. 4 is maybe a bit high and 3 is low but 3 it is. Would rate higher if I listened more I think.
A lovely album and would have been so strange at the time but still essentially an album of covers
A gem of a find for me. Really enjoyable. Ended up listening a few times and will add to rotation.
It was good, just not great in my opinion. Maybe it's reputation clouded my judgement. Had even considered a 3 but 4 star is probably best.
Didn't like it. 2 good tracks.
Enjoyed it a lot and was a new one for me. Some crackers and the rest were of a decent upbeat standard to tap a foot to
Nice bit of Bossa Nova
A nice album with some top notch musicians. Just wouldn't be listening too often
Yup, that did it for me. Was even considering a 5 star! Love the 2 sided idea and they worked so well together. Just top drawer musicianship all around.
Gentle ambient music but feel like I've heard it all before. Can often be the case with early albums, that we don't appreciate their impact
Really enjoyable, went down a rabbit hole vadter listening.
2 hits but the rest was very samey and of its time
A nice listen but nothing stood out. Passed me by a bit
Doesn't do it for me. Monotonous stuff
A very interesting listen as it was such a success when released. Didn't do much for me though. Nothing wrong with it per se, just didn't excite me enough. Had some balls in places but probably wouldn't listen again.
Really enjoyed. She was always on the list to explore more and glad I got the chance
This was an tough one to judge. Some great anthemic songs that would normally mean it's a 5 star rating but I just couldn't do it! The more I listened, the weaker some songs sounded so 4 is probably fairest in my mind.
Yup, this was good. Apart from 'American Girl', it lacked some wow tracks
Another Live album on this list when it shouldn't be. I really like The Who but this is a collection of songs that is neither here nor there. Pointless
Very enjoyable without getting too excited. Just a good piece of Americana music. Would stick them on again (CS&N at least)
There are some all time classics on this album but some of the album tracks are weaker and don't stand the test of time. He was always a bit of a jokey figure but when I looked back on his catalogue, he's had a lot of good songs and hits
A nice listen with some toe tapping but not one I'd want to listen to again. 2 is probably low but hey ho
Very enjoyable. Think I'd like even more the more I listened.
Pure class. A stunning opener and you're kept glued to it throughout. It hasn't dated one bit.
An easy 5 stars. Iconic album. Must have been amazing for people when this double album was released......but it is too long as a standalone album. I'm not complaining by any means but imagine if they chose the 15 best tracks - even wower!
Was really enjoying it and then it just died off. Some good tunes and glad I listened
I was looking forward to listening but didn't interest me too much unfortunately.
I varied between 3 & 4 stars on this but it was fun enough to get 4. There are some interesting songs
Maybe I'm missing something but I found it boring and quite one paced. Back to Black addressed that but Frank didn't do it for me.
Just a 4. Some good standout tracks with some great hooks. Would listen again but not too often - I get it.
Didn't do it for me.
I'm surprised that I enjoyed a lot of it. Some good lyrics that intrigued me.
They weren't on my radar but I really enjoyed it. Took a 2nd listen to get to grips with it and will be listening more!
I found it very interesting. Didn't justify higher than 3 though. Might have if I had more listens.
Very enjoyable with some greats.
Sounded like BBC sound effects Vol I & II. Or Ross Geller's Keyboard sounds. Boring
Enjoyable but a bit cringey in parts. Could only listen to some of it as some songs were hidden
A new one to me. Thought it was excellent for the first half and tailed off then. Love the anonymous idea
Lively and nice atmospheric background music
A brilliant album with some classics. What more could you ask
An iconic enough sound to be 4 star
It's not my thing but "Groove" was a nice surprise
It was interesting and with more listens I'd be able to pick out more that I like. As a standalone, it's only a 3 star. Lacks any really wow track
Prog rock can often be hit and miss for me. This did both.
I've started to like Bruce a lot more through listen to his albums on this list. Or at least I've started to know why he was so celebrated. This was a good listen but didn't hit the heights often enough. Still good, just not great.
Yup.....that was good! Right up my street. Will def be listening much more. It might get a 5 star from me then (only thing holding it back was lack of standout tracks but overall quality is there)
Really enjoyable. A silky smooth voice from good oul Mary O'Brien!
Loved it. Goes against what I said about Live albums being a cop out for inclusion. Never thought an hour of just piano could hold my attention so well.
Had just enough to offer for a 4 star. Enjoyable but was just hoping anw waiting for more hooks.
Very enjoyable. Somebody to love and White Rabbit both iconic songs
Yup, that does it for me. A sound ahead of it's time. Some absolutely brilliant songs and any others are still of a very good standard. Each song offers something to take away.
She's got something about her has young Lorde. A unique voice.
Sorry Merle, didn't do it for me. I hate this genre. It's not quite Country, it's old school Country. But nah, 2 stars cos I'm it's not total shit
Musically would have been a 4 star but Neil Young's voice just turns me right off.
Lovely music and all that but I just didn't click with it. Didn't evoke anything in me. Won't be listening again.
It's decent but wouldn't be seeking it out for future listens. Cool that her voice is unique but can get annoying.
I would have loved this when I was 16. Not now. Repetitive and uninspiring
Not my cup of tea
A new artist for me and she intrigued me. Surprisingly enjoyed it.
On a first listen I was very excited as I'd had such a bad run of albums. It's got balls and some great tracks. But on a second listen, it didn't hold up as a whole. Still very good, just not great
A great voice and some great lyrics but fell flat for me.
A great listen. Really enjoyable
Has to be a 5 with 3 all time greats on it. All songs offer something. I'm becoming more of a Dylan fan though properly listen to his stuff.
An easy 5 star. The great tunes just kept on coming. Hard to believe you'd be able to pack that much in.
I loved it. I know it's not for everyone as come across as a whiney voice but it works for me. Change of pace in the songs keeps you interested.
Meh. Was funky and all but all a bit samey. Can't understand why there were tracks that were so long when it was just repetitive.
It had something enjoyable about it. Something fun. Wouldn't seek it out as not my taste
Very good. Little Wing was the standout track for me.
A pointless inclusion on the list. Music is ok but why more live albums?
Just not to my taste anymore. Felt so old listening to it
It was nice but didn't wow me
A very good listen. A lot of rawness. My Generation and The Kids are alright are all time greats. The covers do take some gloss off it overall.
This ended up being a really strange listen. On one side I should have liked the sound but I just couldn't get to grips with it. Didn't enjoy it but couldn't work out exactly why.
It's brilliant. A masterpiece of her life's work. So we'll sung and produced. Tears Dry on Their Own is my favourite.
I could picture lots of people giving 5 as it's got some big hits but the substance isn't there for me. It's good and she's got a great voice but she knows it and often over uses it. Gets boring after awhile.
Jesus ...I mean really. Almost 3 hours? It's cool that people try to do some different but this got annoying. Too long to enjoy the songs. It felt like a chore. Most of the songs themselves are nice listens but nothing to get you excited too much. They could have picked 15 of the best songs and it could have been a very good album.
I love it and them. This album has it all. It's got all time greats, good rock songs and a lot of fun tunes too. Still don't know what "I'm in love with my car" is all about though Roger.
I'd usually like Talking Heads but this just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was my mood but fell flat
I was expecting much better. Still good but didn't wow me surprisingly
Didn't really do it for me
An enjoyable listen. Would stick it on as background music again
Not for me. Found his voice annoying after a while
Underwhelming. Maybe reputation affects it but this offered very little
A very good album. Has fun to it and some great tunes.
This varied between me liking it and then thinking it was too repetitive. Some songs sounds exactly the same. Observer and Cars for example. Wouldn't listen to the album again so it's only a 3
Not my scene
Meh, didn't do too much for me but not shite
Pointless having the crux of the album with covers
This is the Day is such a good track. It kind of casts a shadow over everything else. A very good album and will listen again for sure.
Funky, was a cool sound and surprised me.
Thoroughly enjoyed that. It's why this project is so great, being presented with music you've never heard of before. I'd stick this on again for sure
Maybe a 3 is a bit low but I felt it lacked a really stand out track (apart from the cover of Mrs.Robinson)
A sound very much of it's time but no less enjoyable.
Middle of the road. Didn't get me overly excited
Had always wondered if Brian Eno was any good. It bored me for the most part. Maybe I just don't get it.
Brilliant album.
Good, just another Live album but I suppose this is and was always different
Didn't do much for me. Nice background music but was lost on me
Very disappointed in it.
I really enjoyed the sound. Will listen again for sure
It's good and has balls but really?.....another Live album. A waste of time
Didn't do it for me.
Piss poor. Awful voice that's getting worse and more annoying
Nah.... repetitive and not to my taste
A weird listen. I've heard his more upbeat stuff in the past and enjoyed. This never took off although it was nice
This passed me by on original release and would be very much my sound - just didn't click with it now which is a shame.
Nice but just didn't kick on
Really enjoyable, found a surprise at every turn
Nothing made me want to ever seek it out again. I wonder too, why an album like this would have been included in the list. Offered nothing new or different.
Disappointed in this. Had always thought that it must be wow
God listen and some nostalgia
It was interesting but that's about as far as it went
Yup, that was great. Such a unique voice and coolness
A strange listen after so long. Quirky but not enough of wow tracks
A lovely listen. And 4 star based on original track listing (without "I only want to be with you")
I like this punky, fast paced sound. This just didn't hit the heights enough
Very enjoyable. They'd always been a band thay I knew I'd like....but not love
Ya, it was ok. Enjoyable
A strange collection of songs. Didn't do much for me but was nice
Balls out brilliance
It's got to be a 5 as there's so much of an iconic vibe to it. Some great tunes but also so much to keep you interested
A lovely listen and a beautiful voice
Ya, I just love their sound. A winner for me
Yup, was good. A cool sound
A lot of fun and some hits. Loved it
Really enjoyed her voice. Took me by surprise
Very enjoyable. Had some balls and some very good tunes
Many sides to that album (literally). Not all of them to my tastes.
I liked it for the most part, just didn't love it.
I'm biased cos I think The Fall are genius. Mad genius tjst doesn't always work but I really enjoyed this. Drums and bass are so good.
It's a karaoke album for the most part but no less enjoyable. His voice sounds so good and really carries the emotion.
Don't think I quite got it. It was interesting but so what. Why's it on this list. Sounds like every other album from last few years
Enjoyable without setting the world alight
Loved it. Great sound and some iconic songs
It was a nice listen but past his best at this stage. Anyone else and you'd say it was shite
What was the point? Like really, why?
Settled on a 4 star. First half of album is blockbuster and 5 star but let down badly by weak songs in second half.
I thouroughly enjoyed that. Sound amazing tracks and everything else had so much soul and feeling
Apart from Personal Jesus and Enjoy the Silence, the rest was meh
A nice listen. Good tempo but just meandered along.
Not my scene at all
Middle of the road new wave. Not sure why it's on the list
A historic moment in music but still a live album.
Hmmm. Was tempted to give it a 5 as I still think it offers so much. So many anthemic songs. But.....the weak songs are very bad so takes the shine off the whole album
I see why he's so popular now, but it's just not for me
That was weird
Beautiful voice but took a second listen to decide it wasn't shite!
I really like their sound but it rarely gets me overly interested. Only 2 tunes on this that really grabbed me but overall, a lovely listen
5 is possibly high but I bloody loved it and her. Such depth and soul to it all.
That was a fun listen. 3 storming tracks
That was a great listen. Will definitely be adding to the rotation
I debated whether 5 was deserved but fuck it, I loved it all. Never heard of her so it was such a nice surprise. Beautiful voice, such soul
Nope, just a rubbish listen. Offered me nothing
Middle of the road, a nice enjoyable listen but another that makes you wonder why they're on the list
It really didn't do much for me. Unique voice that's great but meh, it bored me
I got something from this. Some sort of connection. It wasn't amazing but it struck a chord
That was weird. Oul Serge has a right hard on for whoever Melody is.....the fucking weirdo.
I love Creedence. This was very good, just not great
It's a fucking brilliant album. Sounds so ahead of it's time. Reminded me of The Black Keys as it was so fresh sounding. (Caveat - 2 songs I wouldn't look forward to are the Spy and Indian Summer)
Apart from the 2 obvious hits, it was nice but nothing overly interesting
Decent album, never quite grabbed me though apart from Suite
It was ok. Obviously interesting to see how an artist develops over such a long career and how their sound changes. If this album was from anyone else, it wouldn't be near this list....and probably shouldn't be by right.
I like the energy, it's my sort of thing. Just didn't quite fully click with me for some reason
It's a stone cold classic isn't it. Still a mood lifter no matter how many times you hear it.
It was nice. A few more listens and I think it would grow on me more.
Radiohead were always a band that I meant to get into and listen more but I never got around to it. Now's my chance.....great! But wait, is this it?.....really! I know Kid A was a turning point but Jesus, what's all the fuss about. It was whiney and slow and boring. The opening bars of National Anthem are the only redeeming thing on the album.
An enjoyable glimpse into the 60's scene. Would listen again and probably enjoy even more
This was good. Had balls! Think I was just in the mood for something like this so 4 might be too generous
Not for me
Hugely enjoyable. A big sound and I think I'd grow to like it even more
I suppose it was exactly as intended. A bit groovy! Just not overly entertaining
It was decent just not my thing
Really glad I had the chance to listen to this as it's always high on "Best of" lists. Enjoyable, just not outstanding
Very listenable and quite enjoyable. Fuck it...let's say 4
Loved this, was very very good. Had never heard of them but will be doing a deep dive now.
Thought it would offer more but still really liked it. The Cross was a stunner and had never heard it
It just kind of passed me by. A few nice tunes but overall nothing memorable.
I liked it a lot. I'm a fan of most New Order stuff anyway and this just worked for me
Didn't really see the point of it or what it offered. Repetitive nonsense
Pure class. Love it and him
I typically don't rate soundtrack albums but this isn't a typical soundtrack album - it's good!
Meh. Didn't make me feel much
It was a nice listen but still essentially an album of covers. No idea why it would be on the list
This was great. Not quite 5 star although it could grow on me. Will be listening to Patti more.
It didn't do anything for me. Wasn't bad but didn't think it was particularly good either. Another of why's it on the list
Middle of the road stuff. I would have enjoyed when I was 16 when I thought this stuff was cool. It's not. It's tolerable.
Meh....didn't interest me but wasn't awful
Hugely enjoyable. What a great sound. Finally I get a good Eno album! 5 is perhaps generous but fuck it, I loved it.
This was a lot of fun! From the surprising opening bars, really enjoyed it.
It's a 5 star all day long. Such a good album with so much to offer. Glad this came up as think I needed something familiar!
Couldn't understand it. Would usually have been something I'd really like. But didn't click with it. Also why so long with so many songs!?
Really enjoyed that
Apart from the 2 obvious hits, very little stood out for me that was memorable or that I enjoyed
Very very good. Has that LZ sound but not quite the aura
It was a 4 on the first listen and dropped to a 3 after listening again. It was moody and atmospheric. I enjoyed it but maybe didn't hit the heights too often
This was a very strange album. Self undulgent from the lads as at the very least, if you make a concept album. Make it good!
Lovely music but I don't quite connect with it. Have preferred his earlier stuff. Maybe needs more listens
Was a new artist for me. It was very good. Didn't enjoy the jazzier tunes but will listen to him more
Some great songs but too long with too much filler to be a 5
Apart from the obvious hits, I thought it was incredibly cringy. It's not very good and 3 is probably generous. Not my scene.
Didn't do anything for me . Just passed me by
There's something about it that just struck a chord with me. I really enjoyed his voice.
Very strange but kind of endearing! A good mix of funk and metal which I didn't think I'd enjoy
A good pop album. "Everybody..." is a Masterpiece of a song
Really good sound. Thoroughly enjoyed it
Nonsense. Pointless. Boring.
I've never properly listened to The National but glad this came up. I really enjoyed it. His voice grew on me.
A lot of fun
It's got a good sound. Just lacked a real wow moment or track. Might have been 4 with more listens but very interesting
Interesting. Def not boring.
It was ok, background music so didn't overly interest me
I didn't see the point. Not my taste so I haven't a clue if it's good or not but not for me
I loved this. Were a new band for me. I kept being reminded of the Beatles throughout for some reason. Other stuff is harder but no less enjoyable. Could have been a 5 star!
Hard to listen as not on Spotify so the flow in YouTube was different. Enjoyable but not my thing
Has a bit of everything. Really enjoyable. 5 might be generous but I did really like it!
Great sound. Iconic but not enough for 5.
Middle of the road stuff. Nothing to get too excited about
A bit of fun and change of pace but nothing too impressive. School's Out is obviously iconic but the rest didn't support
It was shite but not total shite
I love this album so much. Have listened 100's of times over the years. Never gets old
Bored me to tears
A nice easy listen with some great tracks
Musically it's fantastic but it's a live album so .....4
Think I'm missing something asni didn't get it. Found it boring
It was ok. Not really my thing.
Love this album.
Good but not great. Starts out with a bang but gets more difficult to love it
More enjoyable stuff from Eno. Not wow but a very good listen
Amazing timing....planned or not! Enjoyed more on a 2nd listen
At some stage you wonder whether someone is having a laugh at all our expense. What in god's name was that shite and why was I listening. "Influential"? Get fucked
Really cool sound. Will listen again
Started off well but then it's just either lift music or 70s porn soundtrack.
She's great. Love her sound and vibe
Just kind of passed me by. It was nice but nothing stood out
I'm surprised that I didn't think this was total shit. It's still not my taste but get why it's a thing
It was funky without wowing me
A nice relaxed listen. Stir it up was a nice surprise in the middle
Disappointed in this. Didn't do anything for me
Very nice listen, would have it on in the background
Loved it. I know some songs aren't his own but it was a lovely listen.
Didn't do anything for me. It was nice background music and inoffensive but just passed me by.
Very good but just not great. Love their sound but it's their 3rd best album
Black Keys are great and this has some great tunes. Just too many poorer ones unfortunately.
Very enjoyable. Nice sound
I don't really get them. It just plodded along
Pure brilliance. A favourite of mine anyway
Nah....not for me. Some poor covers make up the majority
4 absolute all-time great songs but let down by lots of weak stuff. Should be a 5 but too much filler
Not sure why this is on the list. It was fine just not something I'd seek out again
A lot of fun with some great tunes. Stone cold classic
I'm not a fan of theirs per se but this was great. 5 might be slightly generous but fuck it, some great and iconic tunes on this
Didn't do much. Just pottered along. I'm obviously missing something. Lost was a nice song but that's his most famous song?
Middle of the road. Was quite boring after awhile
Very enjoyable. Had listened to it before but never had to rate it. Into my arms is one of my favourite songs ever
These fuckers again. I just don't get them. It sounds like something The Wiggles would produce. Except the wiggles have catchier songs!
I tilt between thinking he's a genius and meh. this was more towards the good. some brilliance. some meh. 4 was fairest.
Great sound. 2 absolutely classics
Not my scene but it was good in fairness. Very listenable
A very strange listen. Some nice parts, some not so interesting. A bit repetitive again but isn't that the style. I felt hypnotized by the end
It bordered on 5 stars but I just didn't love it enough. Very very good though!
Filth. Bored me for the most part too
Was hoping to like this more but did nothing for me
Just passed me by. Wasn't bad but nothing jumped out as interesting
Love his voice. That carried what isn't a great album
A load of shite. Wasted time that I'm never getting back
Nice sound but doesn't do much for me
Meh so what.
Ya I love it and his sound. Iconic
I had that MSP sound and energy without hitting any of the high notes for songs. Disappointed by it
Boring for the most part
Expected more from it
Not my taste at all but props for the energy and balls that they put into it
Not quite at their own highest standard but it's still The Beatles! All my Loving is an all time greats
He's got some pipes in fairness but was a very boring album
Very enjoyable. R.E.M are a band that I've really enjoyed as part of this project
Ya, fuck it. 5 might be generous, but there you go. Really enjoyed it
Enjoyed it for the most part but just lacked that bit of oomph.
Very enjoyable. Had heard some of their stuff before without realising. Felt very modern Bruce at times (the voice)
Meh. Wasn't shite but didn't do much for me. Very samey
Disappointed in it apart from "When Seasons Change"
The first half of the album is so good but too much fluff to warrant 5 stars.
Hmmm. Very weird....but interesting
Disappointed by this. Might have seemed a revelation at the time, it's gimmicky now and not a good listen
Not offensive to the ears. But nothing wow
Meh. Very very middle of the road
It got me in the end. Really enjoyed it and will explore him much more - long overdue.
Was very nearly a 5 but hey ho
2 absolute classics, 1 very very good one and then cringe
I respect effort but not for me
Some great tunes. You know instantly that it's them which is a testament. They were never my taste but does have balls!
One album that you always just presume is amazing. Maybe if I liked Wilson or BB more it'd be my thing, just very samey to me. Nothing to grab me. a nice listen but not much more.
Funky from start to finish. Really enjoyable
Just a 5 but fuck it - really enjoyed it.
Respect but not my taste
It's a great listen. PF were never really on my radar but need to get into their stuff more
A new band for me so thoroughly enjoyed. It's very much my sound. Has guts, feeling and I will be listening again
Very poor. I don't get people's obsession with Lydon
I loved it. It's got balls, it changes paces, great beat and tempo throughout, it's got good lyrics and doesn't take itself too seriously......it's great. Will be listening to them much more
Really enjoyable but I suspect that it's not very good. Shows you what mood can do yo affect
4 is prob generous but this caught me on the hop. Some great opening tracks and then just as you're getting bored "All I Wanna do" hits you
It's another easy 5
A great start and although it keep those heights, it was still a great listen
Nice vibe but that's about all
Very enjoyable. Apart their hits, they bypassed me somewhat in 09
This could have been 5 star if it wasn't for his voice. Seems to get worse as you listen. Awful, putrid voice! Such a shame
Really enjoyable. Always like The Cure but always feel they lack something sometimes
This just hit me like a train. Never hear did them before and that was obviously a mistake. Loved it. So much energy, passion, harmonies.... brilliant!
it's just not to my tastes. Totally get how people would love it as it's got energy, balls etc but just not for me.
This is tough. 5 stars but with a note. Iggy Pop mix is so much better than Bowie mix. Rougher, edgier and raw. Bowie's seems tame in comparison
Listening to his stuff has been such a pleasant surprise in this project....but not this album. Found it muddled and confusing
That was all very strange
Not my usual but I really enjoyed it. Surprised me. And of course paper planes is a stunner
Thrash metal is certainly not my thing. I don't know how it could be anyone's thing. Metallica have always been a band that I thought I wouldn't like (apart from their softer few songs). I feel vindicated for ignoring them for so many years.
Some nice bits, but very hard to know if it's good, bad or I'm just indifferent and nodding along
It was ok. Nice. But not sure why it's on this list
As much as I don't like the brothers, they knocked it out of the park with this. Hard to believe it's a debut album. Brilliant
I like him, I like the Pixies but this didn't quite work for me. It's good but too long to be enjoyable
I like The Byrd's. I didn't like this
I like Turner & Kane individually but this is just a bit forced. One or 2 good tunes but not brilliant. Another where you're asking why it's on the list (in fact it's removed in newer edition)
Very enjoyable. On another day I would have given a 5
It's beautiful. Happy to stick that on any day
This had balls. Great bass. Great sound. was new to me.
It was grand. I imagine how we'll look back at Beyonce etc and say it hasn't aged well
Its not my personal taste but I have a grudging respect for Public Enemy after this and some of their other stuff. It's unique and offers a different take.
A new found respect for Black Sabbath with this project. This wasn't their best but it's raw and passionate
Ya, i love this album. so much energy and some cracking tunes
A cool album. Not 5 but close
Enjoyable without being wowed at any stage
First 3 tracks were ok, then it went south. I like the post punk but can't deal with electronica /Synth heavy stuff.
This was where it started to go downhill for them. 1st album and 1st half of this are very good. 2nd half of this album and everything they've produced since has been piss poor. No feeling. Same boring sound
Some all time great tracks but so so much filler now in hindsight. I was disappointed by this
Inadored this album when it first came out and I still do. Just think it's got so much to offer. Fistful of Love is an epic
It's only getting a third star cos of Tainted Love. I thought it was very poor
Really enjoyed this. And them over this project. Much more respect for them
Another meh...so what.
Meh. Expected a lot more from it but it bored me for the most part
Another meh. They were never my thing
Bored me for most of it
Not my taste but was nice to listen to
This was a very interesting album. Could've been from 90's onwards. Lacked something to make me really enjoy
It was a 5 when I saw it come up. What a great album. I love a band that are instantly recognisable from their sound. Brilliant
Inoffensive country.....again
Another band on my list that I've always meant to really listen to but never got around to it. This might not have been their best but on a second listen, I "got" it. Enjoyable
Agonised over giving this a 5. I love it and have for years. But on reflection, it's a bit samey and after one listen I'm content. Wouldn't dip back for more too soon. Doesn't kick on so has to be a 4
Can't understand why this is on the list. It's nice but so what?
Live albums shouldn't be on this list......but I'm glad this was. Really enjoyable as a piece but come on - "live"? Recorded over 3 nights, pffff
Apart from the 1st track, it didn't overly excite me
5 might be generous but I really loved this. After reading about the concept for the album I really bought into it. There was such feeling in each song
Meh Middle of the road moaning
Didn't do much for me unfortunately. I really like him too but can get non sensical after awhile
Jesus, this was boring. I loved their "Woody Guthrie album" recently but this was shocking.
Like a lot of these older albums, very much of its time. Hard to connect with it or like it
So boring and one paced. Even the hits felt fairly vanilla. It's only getting 3 cos those hits are iconic (but not my taste)
They were never my thing so had often overlooked but there's no doubt, this is brilliant. Anthems, balls, soul, feeling - 5 stars
Really enjoyed it. Was a breath of fresh air. Lifted the mood
It was a nice listen but also.....so what? Why's it on the list, why's it special? Very samey all the way through to my earballs
Awful stuff. Go west redeemed it from getting 1 star because at least that has some sort of catchiness
Nonsense. A waste of time listening to that whimsical shit. This is the Pink Floyd that makes no sense to me - who enjoys it?
Good, just not very very good. Lacked some real knockouts but overall, I enjoyed
A nice listen without getting overly excited
I've really started to appreciate her music. I really like the first half of this album and it tailed off a little. Still decent though.
It's a 5 all day long. Just brilliance from the very first time I heard it all those years ago. Still excites me to hear it again now.
Utter nonsense. It sounds what it was - a demo. It could have been decent if given a chance with production
Weird. Just weird
Thoroughly enjoyed. perhaps 5 is generous but I was strolling round Sydney sun while listening.
Didn't quite do it for me
Really enjoyed the pace and energy of side 1. Side 2 was harder to really get to grips with. But still an easy 4
This got me in a good mood.
Enjoyable and surprising.
One of the great things to come out of this is a new found admiration for Iggy. But this album just fell short of the other wows
Horseshit. Only got 2 cos at least they give a fuck
It's not my scene at all so I can't judge if it's good or not. But I didn't enjoy
A tale of 2 sides to an album. 1st half brilliant, 2nd not so much
It was grand but again why's it on the list? Offered nothing different from much r&b that I've heard before
Really disappointed by this. Was expecting to be blown away be her. Apart from This Woman's Work - it fell flat. sounded whiney for the most part. couldn't wait for it to end. only getting a 3 for TWW.
Enjoyed it but it did get a little repetitive
Really enjoyable. Live album but hey, still good sound
What the actual fuck was that. Drivel.
Not my thing
I think they're great. So quirky and fun.
A brilliant listen. Had heard of him but never listened. Having read up, seems like an unsavory guy .
Had never heard of them. Was a nice surprise
Didn't do a lot for me. They obviously saved the best for later in their careers post Buffalo. Neil Young's voice still annoys me, even when in harmony
Nonsense. Repetitive bullshit. How in god's name can this be enjoyable. It's just a background irritant.
Really enjoyable. Great sound on bass and drums. I grew tired of his voice after awhile though. Was also very confused as to what album/track listing I was supposed to be judging
This was brilliant. Particularly the first half - just wow. Overall, such a cool, funky and relaxed sound whilst still having heart and balls. Loved it
I just don't get all the hype. It was very ordinary. Over produced and relying on her singing at highest octave with a bass drum banging. Felt that x 20 tracks
2 all time great tracks but the rest felt so below that unfortunately. Very enjoyable though
I enjoyed it but took a 2nd listen. Don't really get why it's on the list as I can think of hundreds of similar and better albums
Enjoyable and a mood lifter.
I thought I was going to enjoy it more as fits the bill - balls, energy, chaotic but just ended up being muddled and I couldn't wait for it to end.
It was ok. Very middle of the road. Neither offensive nor overly enjoyable. The wrong type of country music for me
With so many iconic songs, it has be 5 star
Very strange listen but I kind of liked it!
I really enjoyed this. Always liked Basement Jaxxs groove
Great energy. Was a little shouty at times but overall, very enjoyable
Love it. It's long but enough different styles to keep it interesting!
Really enjoyed this one. At one point, I was even thinking about a 5 but it just doesn't have that polish where i'd go back for more listens
I though it was good without overly enjoying it which was weird. He really needs to blow his nose too
Very strange listen. Couldn't get to grips with it. Can't say I enjoyed it but might be a grower
Just deserved a 5 star. Really enjoyed it
Enjoyable without being overly interesting
Nice but also, why's it on the list?
I'm glad that I'm now ok with not loving Radiohead. It just doesn't do what I think it's supposed to do for me. Some good stuff, but I find it hard to enjoy
Ya, has to be 5. Too many all time classics
Really good sound. His voice isn't my favourite though.
Good but not wow. am familiar
Yup, deserves a 5 for so many iconic songs
Ok, so the music is decent. But why in Christ did they decide to make it a live album and why 2 whole fucking hours. Why not 7 or 12 hours. Became indistinguishable by the end and I couldn't wait for it to finish
Nope, didn't do anything for me. River is a beauty though
Good just not as great as people claim. The timing obviously makes it seem better
Tres enjoyable
This was good. Very good sound that I wasn't overly familiar with. Would stick on again for an upbeat mood
It was quite entertaining but it's a live album. Meh
Rubbish electronica
Can't see what makes this in any way special.
Seriously? A how to guide as a must listen? Get fucked
Do it again, dirty work and reeling in the years gets this 4 stars on their own
Good, not great
Utter shite
Nonsense. Childish nonsense Fight for your right was the only thing resembling music
It was enjoyable without being overly interesting
Liked it but think it hasn't aged well
It was very good, will be listening again for sure
Better than I was expecting but can't see myself getting into them
I was enjoying it but felt it lacked something but it was quite familiar. Then I read he was in Fairport Convention so it clicked. Female voice didn't hit heights
Started with a bang but didn't reach those heights again (maybe Steppin Out). Still a very good listen in any case
Yup, that worked. Iconic songs and sound
It's a great sound but like many other prog rock bands, can become tiresome
Middle of the road stuff. Neither offensive or very engaging
More prog rock of which I'm confident isn't my thing
Decent album with 2 all time greats
Completely forgettable
The best of reggae. From Exodus to One Love, it's jaw dropping. The first 4 are cool and still fit. Great album
Very enjoyable. A sound of the 60s in 1 album
Yup, all time classics. Love their energy
Interesting but did nothing for me
Some nice beats but mostly nonsense
It was a great sound just didn't blow me away or suck me in either (opposite I know)
Meh. Some cool bits but singers voice was a bit whiney - made me want it to be over
Very close to a 5 for nostalgia. Love the frenetic energy but there are some songs that are just a bit naff at this stage. Some great tunes too though. A great listen nonetheless
A waste of everyone's time. Just nothing to warrant my attention. Last tune was at least saviour from the monotony
Another so what. Not my thing. Samples were the best thing.
Monotonous rubbish
I don't really see the attraction with him
I don't consider myself a Pink Floyd fan but you can't argue with the quality and atmosphere of this album. It really is very different
Bang average. A pointless listen
Nice background music but apart from Ipanema, offered little else
Ya, it's a pretty special album. Some all time greats and even though it's long, there's no filler as such.
This is a purely personal rating as I love this album already. Brilliant and fun
This was a nice listen. Really intrigued by his voice - it was almost hypnotic!
Enjoyable without being wowed
He's a marmite artist but I really like him. Always intrigued by him
It was strange, fun and interesting all at the same time but just not very good
Batshit crazy. Nonsense for the 2nd half of he album. The 1st half was ok and then it was self indulgent gobbledigook
It's very good and seriously enjoyable. Just lacked a little for 5 star. Another all time classics song on it though
Bored me for the most part. Inoffensive at least
I was a little disappointed as it's s got such a good reputation . Not backed up
Pointless
Average and often childish
A pleasant listen but will never want or need to do it again
I liked the sound. A monotine voice but it works. Another girl is an all timer
It intrigued me but felt no matter how many times I listened, I didn't hear it. I think I'd adore it if I had more goes to listen
A lovely listen with an all timer (maybe 2)
It didn't do much for me. Surprising as I like members other work with Talking Heads
Enjoyable but felt it didn't kick on
It was grand
I found it very beige. Nothing that excited me
A nice background listen
Very enjoyable, was nearly a 5 but just lacked some sparkle
A tale of 2 halves. First half was not my thing at all but felt the speed/aggressiveness eased in 2nd half.
Musically it was good. But the voice, Jesus. Neil Young-esque. Painful
Very middle of the road
A great listen but not enough great songs
A tough listen. Self indulgent rubbish for the most part. Only thing giving it 3 is Oinball Wizard and See me
So middle of the road it was almost boring
Surprisingly enjoyable
Very close to 5. FF are a band that I really need to listen to more
Has to be 5
I'm not a Radiohead fan per se, but this was brilliant. Some all timers in there
Very funky and enjoyable
Phenomenal Loved it. So much soul and feeling. The woman has balls for sure
A good un
Too long and uninteresting
Listenable but not great
Was really excited by this but didn't live up to it unfortunately. Walk on guilded splinter is an all timer though
It was interesting but nothing to get overly excited about. Wasn't looking forward to it when I found out it was Kraut rock but was different from the norm
Very forgettable but was nice ambience music
Very disappointed. Bored me for the most part
Not my thing and hard to listen to so can't really judge if it's good
Musically it probably deserves 4 but it's a compilation so fuck you....3 stars
Very 60s sound. Kicks was a great tune
Boredom in album form
So so
Extremely boring. Why in god's name is this on the list
Not for me. Couldn't get it. Listened twice and was perplexed. What the fuck is it?
A great listen
A very strange listen. Couldn't work out what it was supposed to be
Nice without wowing
A nice turn of pace. Wasn't amazing but just glad of something with feeling
I really like the tone in his voice. Have found myself listening to him a lot lately and this w album was a nice continuation. I prefer his harder stuff though
Nah, nothing of great interest
The Bjork angle was a surprise but meh to the rest
I might have loved this 20 years ago but tastes have changed. Not bad but it is fairly boring
Apart from King Kunta, nothing got me overly interested. Glad I'm getting to properly listen to him though
It was a nice relaxing listen. Nothing except King would make me want to seek it out again though
Very disappointed in this. Felt it didn't get going
Didn't think much of it
Meandered along without wowing. Just like honey is obviously a good tune but the rest just .......meh
Not sure what makes this different enough to be on the list. Bang average
Quite boring. Why something as middle of the road is included as a recent addition is very strange
Respect to them for caring but christ, it's painful to listen to
It's just about listenable but not my thing so I don't think it's good. But again, something that's not awful.
Another 3 star album. Jesus I'm on a run of quite average albums. This was just that.... average
The worst of the worst. Horrible shit to have to listen to
A strange listen but not bad. Would probably grow on me with more listens
Nothing much to get excited about. Inoffensive background
Listenable
4 might be high for it but I feel like I've been starved of proper albums and artists recently so welcomed this
Nice sound. No wow moments and I wouldn't need to listen again to find them
A nice sound. Think I get it though (no need to listen again to get a 2nd layer)
Annoyingly repetitive but that's their schtick. A few bangers but wouldn't be listening as a whole again
It was ok, not amazing. Movie soundtrack so can't expect much
Not my scene. Couldn't enjoy
Very disappointed. I thought all her albums were supposed to be wow. Only 2 good uns on this. The rest were fairly meh
4 might be generous but I really enjoyed the sound. I listened twice but nothing really stayed with me.
A very good album. Don't know why I didn't or couldn't give 5 stars but 4 feels right
Jesus...that was tough. Now I know why I've always been slow to listen to Radiohead. This is what I've always feared
Reasonably enjoyable. Musically it was very good. His voice wasn't the nicest to the earballs though. Got tired of his style in some songs
Listenable but very forgettable
A lot of fun. 2 all time great tunes to back it all up
Too slow and croonery for me. Nothing to get me overly excited. It was nice but just didn't kick on
No offensive. It's simplicity reminded of School of Rock
I thoroughly enjoyed this. Wasn't on my radar but I loved the style and tone of his voice. Musically interesting too. Will listen again and to his other stuff also
Bowie's best imo. Super listen
Not sure what to make of it. Very theatrical but wasn't very good.
Reminded me of Ash but didn't kick on. Bit one paced
A nice listen
A strange one. I don't particularly like it but can't help but enjoy and appreciate her voice
Felt somehow guilty giving this 5 as it's probably seen as a bit naff. But it was a great listen, no awful song. Each song had something to offer.
Some amazing songs and written (or co) by her, not just a karaoke album. Very enjoyable
Nope
Great energy. Can't give 5 cos half the album is covers.
It's not my scene and likely wouldn't seek it out to listen again but at least they give it their all
Not overly enjoyable to my earballs
It's always hit and miss with this kind of prog/psychedelic rock
A fun 20mins or so. Great tunes. But it's live so can't get more than 4
It's a great album full of great songs but has Neil Young singing which is not so great. I just can't enjoy his voice.
A nice listen but nothing that would have me crying out for more
I loved this and love Weller. But unfortunately has some weaker songs so doesn't get 5.
That was all a bit pointless eh. Apart from it being different, it was shite.
Quirky enough to be interesting but just not very good
It was close as didn't wow me but it does have some all timers and no track you can point to and say it's poor
A lovely listen. Nothing wow but very pleasant
It's jazz so I didn't have a clue if it was good or bad but it sure as shit didn't interest me
Quite boring
A very good listen. It's a long album and has some weak tunes so if it would've been shorter and stronger, likely would have been 5
It was largely background music
Pure shite
I always liked their quirky was and some great songs on this but overall it's weak. I have a soft spot for them though. 4 is generous
Did absolutely less than nothing for me.
Very good just not 5
Very enjoyable. Very 60s
Only getting a 3 cos of Power of a Love which is iconic. The rest is fairly tame and boring for the most part
So happy it was over. Only getting 2 cos they care
Not great
It was incredibly generic. Jump obvs an all timer
What a load of rubbish. Nothing of substance
A nice change of pace. 4 hinged on 3 songs
Not as bad as his last one. This was half listenable at least
Was actually enjoyable.
A great listen
Very close to a 4 as there's some good pop tunes on this. But so much cliched boring MJ wannabe stuff
Was ok. Nothing to get excited about
It was decent but kind of just passed me by
I enjoyed. Some of the tuning/feedback stuff was weird though and took from overall feel
Loved the sound. Rodgers voice is so good
A surprise and great listen
Was looking forward to this but didn't sustain the heights. Anything with One on it should be a 5 but some very weak songs on this
Really good sound. It just lacked another gear for 5 star but will listen more as their last album was good too iirc.
Love the Fall. Always an interesting listen
Instantly forgettable. There's a reason I've never heard any of these songs before.
Ya, fuck it. 4
Loses a star as it's live but was a good background sound. Nothing jumped out as wow
I enjoyed this and don't usually buy into prog rock. Some bits were wow
It wasn't great was it. As someone put it, if it wasn't The Rolling Stones, it's nowhere near the list. Mostly a covers album
Quite disappointed in this. I'd see that Bob Mortimer was a fan so if it's good by Bob, it should be good!
It's a lot of fun. Upbeat with some bangers
So boring. Jesus, nothing stood out. One paced and repetitive.
It was awful. Literally noise but with a beat thrown in every now and again for good measure
It was intriguing at times and plain weird other times.
Lots of energy and fun
She's great, it was great
Nice background music but just passed me by
He's always been an inigma for me. Never know whether it's brilliant or the shite side of prog rock sound
A nice one. Lacked some wows but it's good. 4 might be generous but I like his sound
Immediately loses a star for being a Live album - fuck that. The rest was poor versions of his stuff. No idea why this sort of shit is included
Nice background music vibes
She has an annoying voice at the best of times but this took the biscuit. Couldn't wait for it to end
ANOTHER Live album!? WTF Pointless, bad sound, taken over 3 or 4 gigs. Waste of time
This was great. Very Joy Divisiony
Some of it was shite, some was brilliant. A shame as could have been fully brilliant
A chilled out listen. Would be fairly tame now after all these years
Once I could find it to listen to, it was weird.....and shite
Haven't listened to this or them in years and it was so refreshing. Some weaker tunes but still great
I loved her voice. This was such a cool album. Had depth and feeling.
A few bits that got my listening harder but overall, it just rumbled along. Not one I'd be seeking out too often
Nothing of interest unfortunately, even with Mark E Smith involved
Pointless.
Such a fun listen even after all these years. Was amazing then and still is.
This took me by surprise. Always enjoyed his style/voice and this was no different
Didn't do anything for me. It was listenable
A very enjoyable listen and trip down memory lane. Sounds a little of its time now however
A strange listen. Some very familiar and listenable but other was just out of place
A nice one. Nothing wow though
I liked the sound. It was quirky and interesting but didn't always work for me
Didn't take off for me.
So boring and pointless
Pointless
An icon but this album, although great lacked a wow
It was nice but reminded me of Tiny Tim....a lot. Couldn't shake his face when listening
Meh. Was pretty average. Not bad, just meh
It just meandered along without anything overly interesting on it.
Close to 5. Couldn't believe how modern it sounded. Obvs Blur took huge influence
Pointless. Another Live album
Jesus wept...Jesus Christ! I really liked it. Was close to 5 for my pure enjoyment, but it's just wow enough
Objectively, it's just not very good. I think it actually gave me a headache that lasted a full 24 hours.
Middle of the road stuff
Really didn't enjoy it. Couldn't wait for it to end
Not my scene so it was lost on me
Prog rock - I just don't get it
Repetitive and uninspiring
Pleasant listening. Apart from her hiy, there wasn't too much else to be excited about
Weird. Not my thing
A strange listen. Only getting 3 cos her voice is so listenable
Like the sound of them. Doesn't get going often enough
Ya fuck it, 5 stars. Every Irish person had this album and either loved it or hated it.
A weird one. Didn't get going
Couldn't wait for it to end. Only getting 2 cos at least it had some semblance of talent
A fantastic album in fairness. Just couldn't give it 5
Some lovely tunes but it's a compilation so no higher than 4
Fuck it...5 stars, I really enjoyed this. Some great tracks
Bored me to tears
Fun but not much of interest beyond the loudness, shouting and hairspray..... generic
Felt like I was listening to a phone ringing for an hour. Not fun
Meh. No strong feelings either way
Nice listen and cool sound
Very cool sound. Always loved Steve Winwood
2 all timer songs on this and still only gets a 4....tells it's own story
A decent listen
Lively and lot of fun.
14 year old me loved this. I'm not 14 anymore
Was surprised that this didn't grab me more
Aside from Pretty in Pink, it was kind of boring
Such a great sound. Loved it
Not my scene but thats ok, Common said so
Meh, didn't do much for me
Very close to 5. I just love their sound
I was so glad to see this appear as today's album as had always thought of it of a must listen, genre bending one. I was so glad it ended. 2 hours and 15 mins....FFS
This was just......poor
Closer to perfection
Not awful and def listenable. Just not to my tastes so even 3 might be generous
Very poor
Listenable but loses a star for being a Live album on this list
It was listenable. But it's Jazz, I haven't a clue if it was actually good.
A great listen
Enjoyed something different but wasn't wowed
This was intriguing. I think I enjoyed but it was definitely paying attention!
I don't get all the hype with her. I have tried to listen without pre-judgement but I just don't like her music. Apart from Shake it Off - that's a classic!
Time of the season is an all timer. Enjoyable listen
Passed me by. Inoffensive
I ended up hating this by the end.
After 900 odd albums, this genre does very little for me
It didn't wow me. He's got some great songs, just not great albums. The album tracks feel very samey always
It started very slowly and I wasn't enjoying then 3rd track started to get much better. "And when I die" was the real kick start
It was enjoyable. Nothing really wowed me though
Pointless noise
Very generic. Back to Life was a nice surprise
It needed a 2nd listen to even register so obviously didn't do much. I usually love the energy of this style
Bjork wannabe. Was nonsense
The first three tracks are amazing (all timers) so it would take Bono farting into the mic to not get 5....he didn't
Yup, a no brainer to be 5
A good listen
It was grand. Nothing wow but not shite either
It would be so good if it wasn't sung by him. Truly awful voice. I've tried to not let it get to me but the more I listen, this more it grates
4 is generous but it just sounds very comfortable and familiar. Not ground breaking but by Christ there's a lot of catchy tunes
I just loved the beat and bass. Lydon was annoying after awhile. Should be 4 stars perhaps but I didn't enjoy him
A strange inclusion. Didn't really land for me.
Nah. Trying to be cool and ended up being boring
Listenable but wouldn't be seeking it out
I've been open minded to new styles. This just wasn't for me. Too long, too samey
I loved this album when it came out, I love it now when I hear it.....and I think it's great
It was unexpected, Lively but not wow
I enjoyed his voice. It was intriguing. Think it would grow on me more too
It has a big sound and I liked that. It's nothing incredible but it is very enjoyable
I just presumed that this would be 5 star. It disappointed massively.
Didn't quite get it. Covers or not?
Beautiful. Such a great voice. Really liked it
Not my thing
It did nothing for me personally but I love that they have a unique sound and give it socks
I've always loved his voice, but this is only a 3. Nothing great on this apart from 1st song
Listenable but just barely
Didn't do much
Some decent tracks on this but it sounds very much of its time
Didn't understand why it was what it was
I've tried with her music to see what the hype is all about. I don't see it. She's talented but this was all very samey and not exactly pushing the boundaries
Instantly forgettable
Was enjoying the first few tracks, then it went downhill
Not for me. Bored me for the most part.
Listenable
It was ok, wouldn't listen again
Go on, deserves a 4 for being a little quirky at least
Musically a 3 would have been fair as it was ok. What went against is the pretentiousness of it. Fuck you and your 23 songs with over 90mins, just fuck off. Droned on with the same shite thinking they're doing us a favour.....fuck off.
Decent country listening
Very disappointed in this
Hard to judge how good it was but it wasn't for me
It wasn't too bad in fairness, wasn't expecting to tolerate it. It was filthy though
Batshit crazy but intriguing. It's still objectively shite but at least they were trying something different. I respect that at least.
A strange album as it just passed me by. Think her style is like that though. Not very memorable
Usually right up my street but this didn't do to much for me surprisingly
A 2 was most likely but it does have a few bangers. It's generally not good though
3 is generous
It just isn't my thing. I'm comfortable knowing I just don't enjoy this genre
4 is generous. It's got an all timer but the rest is just the usual trad stuff with a twist. Doesn't do it for me
I know 4 is generous but I welcomed the energy of it. Was a welcome change after a bad run!
This was great, really enjoyable. An all timer in Thirteen
Sounds very very dated now
A properly good album. All timers and just a good overall sound
It had balls and was half decent. Not sure why something like this would be on the list. There was nothing different
Mixed feelings on this but just did enough to warrant 4
A nice relaxing album. One track stood out, the rest was background
Surprised that this wasn't wow. Had just presumed
Too many good songs for it not to be 5. It's a banger
Apart from "Maybe I'm Amazed", which is an all timer and fav of mine, it doesn't offer too much. By his standards, it's disappointing
A nice listen but why in god's name is it on the list?
Nice sound, good bass. No idea why it's on the list
Everything was groovy and funky but just not very good. Totally listenable but not exciting
Nonsense from a fake doctor!
It did less than nothing for me. And was a Live album so meh
Hmm. I didn't enjoy but I should have. This is something that I should like. But I didn't. And aside from not enjoying, I didn't think it was good
Meh, so what. No reaction
Nice soothing background music
Very hard to judge but it was listenable and part enjoyable. Obvs the political stuff of the time goes over my head
Nice atmospheric sounds
Didn't work for me. As in I didn't connect
Not my thing but there were some bits that I didn't realise I knew. Still not my thing and never will be
Had some balls, a decent listen
A nice listen
It's very close to the stuff I usually react well to. But too raw and without much feeling
Really enjoyable. Love his cadence. Makes you always want more. Never boring
Very enjoyable. Sounded more modern in many cases
Not as good as Unhalfbricking but not much can be
I really like the Fall. I didn't really like this
Not my thing and I'm ok with that. It was ok,. nothing that made me think I was wrong about the genre
Very near to 5 but just lacked more wow tracks. Had 2
It offered very little. Maybe it was more revolutionary back then. Bored me
A lovely listen but it was background stuff
Would give 10 stars if I could. Simply awesome. One of the best of all time.
Did very little for me. It was a nice listen but nothing memorable
Always hit or miss with ol Tom. This didn't land for me. Some things stick with me but you really need to work to listen and enjoy
A nice listen. Nothing massively unexpected though
Standard 60s fare.
A decent sound, energy and rawness to it. Think I'd grow to like it more
Very disappointed in this. This was a Mercury Prize winning album........for what!? it was so poor. Just ambled along without anything mildly interesting. Her hit is decent, but one hit doesn't make an album.
Totally forgettable
Enjoyable without being wow. She has a beautiful tone and voice
A great sound and album. Close to 5 as it's so unique but just lacked more real wows
Thought about giving 5 as I enjoyed it when it came out and again now. But 5 would be just too high. It's a 4.5.
It was grand. Better than average. More than boring. Just nothing overly interesting. Covers were the stand out
Sounds very dated now.
I'll be so happy when this process is over so that I don't have to listen to shite like this
Very strange. It was maniacal at times.
That strangely did nothing for me. It's objectively good but .....nothing
I liked the energy but it got a little samey after awhile.
The absolute worst of the worst. Horrible shit to have to listen to
Horseshit. Bottom of the barrel noise. Literally the sound of pipes banging
Meh. Passed me by. Did nothing for me
Two all timers in Sympathy and Street Fighting Man but the rest didn't reach same heights (hard to)
Not to my tastes
It was musical at least but still painful to have to listen to
Middle of the road noughties fare. Could've picked a hundred albums better from that period
This was a big album for me in my 20's. Listened and loved a lot since release so it works in every way
I was a little disappointed in this. It has almost mythical status but didn't live up to it. Some great great songs but then weaker stuff
A nice listen but didn't do anything for me
Very limited and samey
It had balls and some good riffs, that's being kind. I wouldn't ever seek this out to listen to. 3 is generous
A very Joy Division sound from them on this one. I really enjoyed. Think it could be a 5 star with more listens
A nice folk listen. His Everybody's Talking just shows how a cover can sometimes be best. Fair play for writing it though
I love his voice, it's unique. I like a lot of Divine Comedy as they're mostly fun. This was fun but just wasn't enough good tunes
I liked the tunes, lyrics etc but his voice just grated me. It loses a star for his voice
I didn't enjoy it. He's a cool dude and has something unique about him but this was just snarling singing for the sake of it
Chilled out music but tame
Very surprised by this. It was very enjoyable. Some great tunes
Really enjoyed this. His sound is unique. It's a 4.5
I love John Grant. I love this album. If it was 3 songs shorter (remove weaker songs), I think it would be the perfect album and my favourite album. I still love it regardless.
It's fast paced and fun. An album I bought but I never realised it was technically a compilation. Loses a star for that
Thoroughly enjoyable listen
It was boring.
Didn't make me sit up and take any notice, just meandered along and was quite boring
Very enjoyable. Another 4.5 from oul Elvis
This won the Mercury Prize? Really?
She's had a stinker here. Utter rubbish.
It was decent. Wouldn't seek it out again
Listenable. Very of it's era, poppy
Another strange listen with Tom. Some glimmers of wow and then just madness
This project has given me a new found appreciation and fondness for Billy. This was very very enjoyable. 4 is probably low. It's 4.5 as he's great
This was one I bought when released. What the fuck was 15 year old me thinking? Actually, I know. It's for teenagers. Only getting a 3 for nostalgia.
Not sure why this is on the list. Didn't offer anything new or different. Total vanilla
I was expecting something a bit more mental when I saw Frank Zappa involved but this was tame. Didn't do much for me
4 might be overrating but this was a nice listen. Great voice and cadence
Started off very strongly but then just wanted in catchiness and quality
3 might be unfair but I just get so bored by Gabriel and the synth/prog rock vibes. There are some strong songs on the album ruined by the boring shite
A nice listen. Nothing wowed me but glad it was upbeat at least
A strange listen. Felt like theme tunes bad 70s cop shows. Not for me
Uninspiring. Very strange inclusion
This really worked for me. So weird, different but loved the recording idea and then it's got great lyrics, stories and just a great listen. Found it very relaxing
There's something about this that I'm intrigued by. Love the rawness. Think it would grow on me massively too
Overrated by a long way. Loses a star as it's live
Great voice of course but too many songs on the album and too many poor ones
Very enjoyable. Liked the sound a lot even though it's very much of its time.
Very enjoyable. Short and snappy. Was thinking of a 5 but just didn't enough wow
It was fine. Some of it's decent and would get you interested. More of it ends up being repetitive.
Pointless Jazz fusion. Bored me to tears
Ya, another Radiohead that I worried about. This type of thing was always my worry. It's so fucking boring to listen to. And whiney.
It just was. Nothing of note or massive interest. Background inoffensive music
A classic sound. Really enjoyed
Started strongly and was quirky. But their hit was too familiar from adverts, kind of ruined it. The rest of the album tailed off
I was surprised that it wasn't better. 4 is about fair.
It was not so subtle and became a parody. It was middle of the road
Good but not great. It was consistent at least throughout
It's non threatening to the ear balls but not very interesting. Just so repetitive
A good sound. Very lively and fun
Really like his voice so I'm being generous with 4 star.
This project has given me the freedom to honestly say that I've tried but rap/hip hop etc does absolutely nothing for me.
Something about the sound that I really liked.
This is possibly the last album that I'll rate..... It was fine. Feel like I've said it a lot so it shows that personal taste is what it's all about
