Modernized Disney princess music with dense lyrics Highlights: Emily, Only Skin
Good soul/pop music with fun melodies, back up vocals, and orchestral flourishes. On the opening track she makes the case for more morning sex. 2nd half of the album gets a little too sappy for my tastes and drags towards the end.
I don’t remember any of what I listened to. It’s inoffensive, it’s worst crime is being forgettable and boring.
Always unapologetically weird. I can’t help but zone in on the bass on every song. A few songs come off like they’re written by a group of corny dads. Wish the production sounded fuller.
Got better as it went, far too polished. Smooth jazz influences ruined certain songs
I really like this and I don’t know why
I want to rate this 1 star because I don’t believe it’s influential or remarkable in any way. But I rated Bowie’s The Next Day 2 stars and I’d rather listen to Ms. Dynamite
Surprisingly layered. I think it mostly holds up but still lives in that corny 80’s Pop music soundscape. I was pleasantly surprised by some of the deep cuts. Prince can do a lot of things I didn’t know about.
Quite frustrating. I really like parts of this album but nothing lasts more than a minute or two so it's hard to find your footing while listening. Lots of cool Beatles inspired vocal harmonies and melodies, but they went a bit overkill on the lofi sound in my opinion. There is potential for this to grow on me over time but as of now I can't give it a high rating.
The album that should not be.
ROOOOOOOOTS
Bangers all the way through. Really fun and hypnotic vocal melodies, funky syncopated percussion. Elements of pop, country, soul. Can’t stop listening
Thoroughly enjoyable jazz/funk, would have given a 5 if not for the last track dragging things down to a boringly slow pace to end an otherwise exciting album
I hated this but I also don’t have any cultural context for this type of music. It was a struggle for me.
Fun, pleasant, but nothing spectacular. Africano was my favorite.
Nostalgic for me. Lots of lesser known songs and covers.
Pleasant but nothing popped out at me. Looking forward to listening to one of his more lively ones
This duck ain’t freeeeee
Inconsistent. Feels like they hadn’t quite figured their sound out yet. A few good tracks but mostly generic

Surprised!
Your best friend’s older brother’s band playing at your favorite dive bar
Didn’t quite hold up
Cool idea as like a private project I guess?
Who is this for? I can’t think of anyone I’ve ever met who would enjoy this.
Bleh
Music makes the people boo together
Nick Cave and The Bad Songs
I wanted to like this more than I did
Better than I expected still not great
It grew on me as I listened
90’s Christian Mom Minvan Music
Solid for what it is, just not my thing.
Some bangers but lots of filler
Really different from anything else I’ve heard. Unfortunately it’s never different from itself.
+1 star for experimenting
4 stars for Quincy Jones
I really liked the Fugees albums and she was my favorite part of it. This just isn’t hitting for me.
Love when a guy who sucks at singing removes everything but himself from the music, and then proceeds to sing to me about the blue collar life, all while never having worked a real job.
Sounds like Judy Gemstone
Hate to be this guy, but this is mid af
It would be 2 stars if it was 30 minutes shorter
Mostly upbeat neo-soul ear worms.
Twangy country-folk. Drags a bit in parts, but mostly pleasant
Jangly indie pop, sloppy vocals, catchy melodies. I hated the production. Guitars panned to different sides with the volume levels way off.
