I’ve never listened to Lou Reed before and was not familiar in the least bit with his music. Not something I would typically listen to, but I’m glad I heard it and opened up to a new genre of music. And I actually kind of enjoyed it and would listen to it again. The only song I was familiar with was ‘Perfect Day’ but I wasn’t aware it was by Lou Reed.
The White Stripes are always a good listen. Lots of familiar songs and sounds here. The last song, “It’s true that we love one another” was a real treat.
Familiar sound. Old classics. Nice, easy listening rock. Good album.
Classic Southern rock. Memorable sounds and of course “Freebird.” A good listen.
Not my typical genre of music. Some nice rhythms but easily forgettable for me - no real lasting power.
Not familiar with this band. Nice folksy rock. I can appreciate it. ‘Wind-Up’ is a nice, stand out track.
Familiar sounds from my youth. Quick listen but classics.
First album off the list that I own. A classic, lots of great songs.
Just good old rock and roll. A nice listen when you're listening to it but not altogether memorable or no stand-outs that got stuck in my head.
I have never heard of this band before today. Sounds like a mash-up of the B52s with Rammstein in the worst way possible. First album I wanted to turn off.
Nice funk album. Not my typical style of music but I can appreciate it, although after a few songs everything just kind of sounded the same to me. Good for background music.
First track was an immediate turn-off - very self-indulgent & pompous. Designed entirely just to showcase his voice without anything substantial in the music. Did not get much better after that. A few decent sounds but overall not my type of music.
Another classic album I own. Lots of familiar sounds and songs. ‘Hotel Yorba’ is a particularly good, non-single track.
Not something I’d listen to on a regular basis, but if I were at a restaurant or on vacation listening to it, I’d be pleased. Nice melodies, but nothing stood out to me as being particularly memorable once the album was over.
A band I’m familiar with and happy to explore more of. Some good radio hits and some other new-to-me songs. A good mix, lots of good songs and something I could see myself listening to again.
I can see why this album was so big when it came out. Lots of radio singles. Overall, good sounds and smooth vocals. Not my normal type of music, but Adele is definitely talented.
I wasn’t expecting to actually like this album, but I do. Female singer-songwriters aren’t my typical jam, but this was a good listen. Just kind of mellow, chill-out music.
Classic, timeless storytelling. Good album, good sounds, good songs.
Great, classic rock sounds. Familiar songs, good tunes.
80’s hair metal. I like the genre and this album had some good tunes which I enjoyed while listening to it but it was quickly forgettable after the album ended. Not memorable.
I could imagine listening to this in the basement, next to the keg, at a college party 20 years ago. Very chill, stoner music. Boring & forgettable.
It’s Led Zeppelin. Probably enough said. Not a bad listen. "Kashmir" definitely stands out as a particularly good track. I would definitely listen to this again. Double album though so it’s just a lot in one sitting.

Electronic music. Not my go-to. Would probably be nice for some back-ground, easy listening, white-noise type of music, but on my commute, it was putting me to sleep.
I’m not familiar with Pulp but I see this album was released on 10/30 so it makes since why I got it today. Definitely the type of music I like and some catchy songs, such as ‘Disco 2000.’ I would actually give this another listen and check out some of their other music based on this album.
Sound very reminiscent of a lot of early 2000s indie rock bands. Not bad at all, definitely an album I would listen to.
Not really the type of music I normally chose to listen to, but I appreciate how this album was new and significant when it was released.
Four song, 41 minute album. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was actually a decent listen for an instrumental, jazz album. I could listen to this again.
Definitely a mood, just not my mood. Very much a product of the 80’s.
I don’t hate techno, but a full hour plus album of it is too much for me. If I were at a party or a rave, then I could appreciate it more, but just listening to this while I work and commute is enough to drive me mad. And ‘Teachers’ is especially terrible - let’s just read a list of names of our influences? No thanks.
Ambient is definitely a fitting title for this album. Very low-key, quiet, white-noise kind of music. Would be great to fall asleep to because that was what it was doing to me on my commute today while listening to it.
I definitely under appreciate jazz and don’t listen to it enough. This is a good, easy to listen to album. Very enjoyable.
Old school classic.
Interesting. Definitely creates an atmosphere, a mood. Not an album I’m apt to pop on at home just for like an everyday listen, but in the right situation it’s nice.
Crazy album. Ten seconds in I was already to call it a day and turn it off. But I want to be true to the experience and kept listening. Glad I did. What a completely strange, unique experience. Crazy since it was released in 1974, definitely not representative of the music at the time. And after reading their bio and finding that Sparks is composed of two brothers? Mind blown.
Some classic songs. Some problematic lyrics. Lots of instrumental breaks. A bit too low key for my everyday listening.
Classic folk rock.
Classic folk rock.
Not familiar with this band, but it’s actually a decent listen.
Not a bad sound, but I find the singer’s voice to be quite grating.
Aww yeah. Absolutely love me some hair metal.
Easiest 5 I ever gave. Grew up on this album in college. Listened to this album repeatedly, saw them in concert. Great album, great band.
Classic.
Not familiar but an interesting style.
Album not available on Spotify so I listened to the only Anita Baker album that was available - Christmas Fantasy. Nice vocals, enjoyed listening to it as I set up Christmas decor to get into the Christmas spirit.
An okay album, kind of boring and not altogether memorable.
Do people actually like listening to an album like this? Definitely not me. It’s just a bunch of rambling that you can barely understand. I wanted to turn it off after about 30 seconds and it didn’t get any better over the next 75 minutes. No thanks.
