Some cool songs and lyrics. A little boring though tbh.

Great album. Obviously a huge influence on most of the bands I like today.

Glad rock and roll was invented but I'd never listen to this again.

The only reason I can't give it a 5 is to leave room to differentiate their even better later albums. But this is great. Any Time at All is my favorite song from this one.

Apparently she's married to Andy Samberg. I prefer The Lonely Island. The instrumentals were pretty but so...many...words. And that screech in her voice on the high notes kind of hurts my ears.

Pretty cool. I think it will grow on me too with repeat listens.

A pretty average album with 3 amazing singles

Unfamiliar with her but I enjoyed this.

Never heard of this band. Started out slow but somewhat grew on me over the course of the album.

Based purely on how many songs from this album I've had on repeat over the years, this has to be a 5 for me.

I've never dived in to any post-Beatles albums but this is a good start

This is my first Grateful Dead exposure. Not a fan of everyone playing over each other for 20 minutes.

When it resembled a song it's ok. However, most of it does not resemble a song.

One of the best albums of the 2000's by one of the best bands of the past 20 years.

He has an amazing voice, but the best song on here is a cover. Feels like 3 stars.

When the title of the album is the review. A great song in Layla and a bunch of other songs that are fine.

I got 8 tracks in before I realized I was listening to the bonus/alternate versions of the songs. I was still digging it, main album versions were even better.

At different times this reminded me of Beck, The President of the USA, Cake, Viagra Boys, and the White Stripes. So yeah, it kicks ass.

I’m gonna say it. There’s too much “psychedelic folk” on this list. Halfway through, I was looking for reasons to give it a 3 and then he hits me with the “whither shall my lady go“.

I kind of dig the grooves and clean sound. Knew their hits but never listened to this album before.

I don't usually care for the cheesy soul records. But there were enough songs on here that I found enjoyable to slightly give this a 3 over a 2.

Cool jazz. Yet to hear jazz that is higher than 3 stars for me. Maybe someday.

Good and catchy

I've been a fan of Rock Lobster since DDR in 2005. But the rest of the album is really good too.

I’ve kind of avoided OutKast because I got so sick of Hey Ya but this is decent.

He definitely sounds like he was 82 when this was recorded. But I really like the arrangements and songs. More than some of his older albums. Am I crazy for kind of liking his voice on this? Especially on the opening track. Stockholm syndrome probably.

There are like two 1-minute stretches of 2 songs that save this from being a 1. Shocking that an album with a song called “donkey doctor” wasn’t better.

I think the presence of 4 Steely Dan albums on this list is one of the strongest indicators that it could use some editing. HAVING SAID THAT, this is better than the first 2 I’ve gotten from this list.

Low expectations but actually not bad. Production doesn’t sound too dated.

This album is minimum 3 stars just for the opening track. Listen to the Tenacious D cover of it if you’re not convinced it’s a great song. The rest is pretty cheesy.

It's too long. I'm surprised that a lot of people think this is their best album because I've liked a couple of their others from this list more. It's ok.

We Will Fall almost drops this a star. But the rest is decent enough to stay at a 3.

I like this. I like Phantogram and these guys clearly influenced them a lot.
