THPS vibes, good memories, 2/10 not my style

Quite a classic 90s rock sound, not for me
Sounds and riffs are good at times. But it doesn't engage me. I am probably not the demographic they were thinking of. To my ears it feels vacuous and staged emotion. it has no relation to punk for me. Cover art 2/5 corny

It's albums like this that make me unsure of the book's intentions. Surely there are 1001 rock albums alone better than this. The songs are indistinguishable yelling sessions about nothing over boring rhythmic guitar and drums. Nirvana with worse musicians and worse lyrics

Liked a decent amount of the songs a lot. A couple were kinda bad like 'Killboy Powerhead'. Audio quality is definitely dated. Would've appreciated a but more variety in the album, but it was good for what it was.
Time to relax caught me off guard Nitro (youth energy) is punchy and quintessential 90s punk rock Bad Habit- Scott Pilgrim vs the world vibes also any movie where there’s a teen girl listening to punk because she’s quIrky I have stopped listening I can’t say I’m a fan of this kind of punk music idk American punk isn’t my fave
