Tago Mago
Can3/10 - It was not great to start and was significantly worse to end. Pappa's gotta eat is all I got to say.
3/10 - It was not great to start and was significantly worse to end. Pappa's gotta eat is all I got to say.
9/10 - great use of harmonica and great working music.
4/10 - Some interesting pieces but overall mid
6/10 - Some good songs not ideal voice imo
9/10 - Saturn is an absolute banger. I was feeling the music throughout the whole album and it was so jazzy.
3/10 - I can see the appeal but not my vibe. Was not expecting the thriller laugh.
5/10 - Ben Platt made a cover of River that I think is better but overall an ok album.
5/10 - Overall okay. There are some good songs but the Boys are Back in Town is definitely their most popular song and i do not really like it. I just think his voice is kinda annoying.
6/10 - Overall mid but Under the Bridge brings me back so it brought it up a few points
9/10 - Fire album. I was hyped from the start as Rich was an absolute banger. I would not be surprised if Nosebleeds was inspired by this. Pin would have been a top song for me if she did not sing "bum bum bum bum..." but no no no, maps and Y control are all great.
4/10 - Stand! Somebody's watching you and My Brain were the only decent songs. The rest really did not hit for me. Plus the 13+ minute guitar solo was not my cup of tea.
3/10 - I can't stand his voice. I heard it when watching Wyatt's Callahan and my opinions on it after hearing this whole album has not changed. My favorite song by far is Futterman's Rule and Ricky's Theme wince the beat is good and he does not sing in it. Essentially the songs are good as long as the singer does not open their mouth.
4/10 - Kinda bad overall. I liked some of the instrumentals but her voice did not really do it for me. Seems to be a consistent thing with some of these albums. I liked a few songs but Flower absolutely caught me off guard.
7/10 - Pretty good overall. Message in a bottle is a great song that I have heard plenty of times. I think that I am a little biased towards this album since my dad really likes the Police.
5/10 - I didn't hate the vibe and I liked the first song a little bit. Overall it was somewhat boring and the Na-Na song was strange to read the lyrics.
7/10 - Not bad. I liked a few songs but Milk was really boring. Queer and Only Happy When It Rains were pretty good
7/10 - I was grooving through most of the songs especially keep on moving and african dance
9/10 - I loved almost all of the songs. The worst one was sadly Emperor Tomato Ketchup. Cybele's Reverie was absolutely fantastic and gave toro y moi energy.
5/10 - These songs are overplayed and I would rather listen to like anything else but the songs are not bad. I like sleigh ride but other versions of it.
7/10 - Overall pretty good. I have heard most of these songs before. There are no songs I hate but there are not any I think I would ever be like I have to listen to it.
8.5/10 - So many great songs but so many songs. There was only one or two I knew before going into it but a bunch of them were enjoyable. However, with as long as the album was they cannot all be bangers.
4/10 - It was pretty boring, not really a good set to listen to at the gym. Broken arrow was really interesting but not good.
8/10 - The panning is crazy in the whole album. I loved the vibes of the whole album and would listen to it again.
9/10 - I quite liked this album. Everything but Boxing Day I thought was fresh and interesting. Some of the transitions were so smooth between songs. Its interesting to see how this is the newest album we have listened to so far and it is still kinda old timey but I can hear the more modern aspects.
4/10 - In a word boring, in a few words not very exciting. The songs all kinda blended together and I do not want to hear any more about hippie johnny.
7/10 - I liked some of the songs but they felt repetitive after a bit.
6/10 - I liked how he explained the way that the pieces worked and how the were supposed to be felt and counted. Through the pieces you can easily see his talent however it is not my cup of tea.
8/10 - Extremely good but in a 3 hour album obviously some of the songs will be better than others. We sang let's call the whole thing off in like 5th grade and it was interesting to see what it was supposed to sound like.
2/10 - The songs got better as it went on but I just could not handle most of the songs. Like them just screaming blood was not it for me.
3.1/10 - Basically the same as my last rating for Beastie boys. I do not like his voice but the backbeat is pretty good on a bunch of songs. The reason this one exceeded the other album is simply because of 5-piece Chicken Dinner and A Year and A Day went crazy.
3/10 - When listening to cargo culte I thought that Skyrim had opened because the background sounded like the intro song. Valse was not bad but most of them were just weird and too sensual for my liking.
5/10 - I cannot tell if I like it or not. I feel like every time I find something I like there is also something I do not like.
9.5/10 - I am a little biased as I grew up listening to Paul Simon and a bunch of songs on this album. Almost every song hits and even some of the ones I had not heard before surpassed my expectations.
7/10 - I quite enjoyed most of the pieces. However the intermittent clapping and cheering was weird and ruined the immersion. If I had more work to do I could 100% turn this on and grind it out.
4/10 - It was alright in one two cha cha cha I thought the "that's the way I like it" was very out of nowhere and caught me off guard. I feel like I was missing a lot since its a soundtrack without a movie.
7.5/10 - I quite enjoyed most of the songs. None of them were bad but none of them were amazing.
8.5/10 - Extremely interesting with every piece sounding completely different. I read part of the wikipedia article about this one and it was interesting to see a bit of illinois history in music. One last whoo hoo was just a crazy piece also.
7/10 - Pretty good. I was grooving most of the time but parts of it did not hit for me.
6/10 - I liked school and crime of the century the rest were ok. The only supertramp song I knew before this was breakfast in america which I really did not like so this was a nice surprise.
9/10 - Absolute bangers on this album. I loved the first 4 songs and we are family was pretty good. I kept getting into the groove my whole walk home. Kind of like the yeah yeah yeahs album I could hear parts of some of the songs that could have been inspirations for roosevelt.
4/10 - Not great and the songs were screamy in some places which I did not enjoy. Overall it was just slightly worse than ok. I liked the guitar solo at the end of down in the sewer but him saying he wants to like reproduce with sewer rats was crazy to me.
7/10 - Very interesting and engaging. I would listen this again.
6/10 - Some of the songs I like and others I do not care for. The first few songs were fun to listen to and I loved the use of trumpet.
9.5/10 - I have heard the first 7 songs before and they are all absolute bangers. The last two I had not heard before but I thought they were pretty good. It was debating rating it a 10 but I want to save that for one where I love every song.
3/10 - The whole time I just wanted to Tina Turn her off. But its not as bad as some other things. But at least they were kinda interesting.
5/10 - A lot of weird songs but a few that I enjoyed. I thought they flowed together nicely.
6/10 - There are some good songs and some I do not really care for
7/10 - Interesting but not fantastic. I liked the vibe of the songs but they were not fitting my mood.
7/10 - Pretty enjoyable but the songs kind of flowed together.
3/10 - Too aggressive and not very enjoyable to listen to because of that.
4.5/10 - The avengers theme is in here that's crazy. Some of the songs are too long. One of them sounded like there was sex noises in the background and a few were too long.
4/10 - The lyrics were pretty weird. I was not a huge fan of his voice or style in general.
3/10 - I'm trying, I'm trying, I'm trying to enjoy this album. How can I, how can I, how can I possibly do it. It is quite screamy and the vocals are hard to hear sometimes, yet I am ok with that.
7/10 - Very enjoyable. I liked the scatting and the old timey feeling of the songs. I liked her voice a lot which is a nice change of pace from the recent albums
6/10 - I liked the feel of the songs but they all kind of felt like the same song. Individually none were fantastic or horrible. Overall slightly better than okay.
5/10 - Some of the songs were ok and some were interesting in a bad way, like New York Telephone Conversation. I liked Satellite of Love and I'm So Free. I liked the use of brass in some of the pieces but overall it was fine.
7.5/10 - Very interesting pieces. The production style was off the charts and the melodies were so much fun to listen to. The first song was way too long but individually the parts were very nice to listen to.
7/10 - I loved Be (Intro) and quite liked GO! and Faithful. However as the pieces went on I liked them less. I am not the biggest fan of rap but some of these pieces worked really well for me. John Legend was interesting and I was caught of guard because I did not know he made music in 2005 (or was popular)
8.5/10 - Why was he counting during the waltz piece. I know counting to 3 is tough but it is not necessary during a final recording. Also sadly not all of the pieces are on spotify since I really enjoyed Until I Believe In My Soul and Marguerita Time. Overall great album
3/10 - I liked Tides but the rest were not enjoyable in my opinion.
6/10 - I have a soft spot for old-timey music but none of the songs specifically stood out to me. They also all kind of melded together. The vibe was good.
7/10 - Quite enjoyable. I liked most of the songs but Tighten Up and The Only One stood out to me for some reason. They all sounded somewhat similar but it was a good vibe.
6/10 - The opening of the first song I had heard plenty of times but I did not know what song it was. Other than that it was groovy sometimes and it was fine at other times.
4/10 - It was absolutely insane but in kind of a bad way. Some of the songs but most were crazy and I could not vibe with. Where is the line and Who Is It both grew on me as they played.
6/10 - I know David Bowie is supposed to be like fantastic and revolutionary but it was just kind of ok. Better than average but not like fantastic. Changes and Life on Mars? I had heard before and Kooks was pretty good.
3/10 - It was kind of a slog to listen to the whole album. I listened to the first half and did not enjoy it took a break and listened to the second half and still did not really enjoy it.
7/10 - Very interesting pieces. I enjoyed the constant background in the songs that I liked. Not all of them were great and the ones I liked still felt too long sometimes.
6/10 - It was pretty good. Nothing stood out a great deal but nothing was terrible. I liked a few songs.
3/10 - It was not great to start and was significantly worse to end. Pappa's gotta eat is all I got to say.
4/10 - It was not great but it was not horrible. It was very preachy and was speaking on an important topic but if I am going to be listening to music, this is not what I would listen to.
5/10 - It was definitely an album. It was so mid but it seems like there were some songs that were medleys or crossovers of different songs so it being live was important. I bet if I knew more The Who songs I would love the medleys.
5/10 - It was fine. Nothing necessarily stood out to me, I have heard La Grange and its fine.
7/10 - Pretty jazzy. I liked a few random songs in it. Rumba Mama caught me off guard but the rest were fun to listen to.
7/10 - I enjoyed most of the pieces but I cannot listen to the girl from ipanema the same after hearing Hector sing it.
7/10 - I liked the background quite a bit. Every song was enjoyable but nothing was crazy good.
8/10 - I do not know why this album went so hard for me but each song hit. His voice was just perfect for how I am feeling right now.
4/10 - This is not my type of music at all but "Roar roar like a dungeon dragon" is a hard lyric.
8/10 - All of the popular songs are fantastic. The rest are fine but I liked harmony of the songs I did not know.
6/10 - While her voice is a little gravely for my liking it is fantastic. I can very easily see how this made the list. Mercedez Benz was a funny song to listen to since she was just asking for different things from god.
9.5/10 - Loved this album. The chill vibe was fantastic. This felt similar to Emperor Tomato Ketchup where I can see how this turned into the music I listen to in my free time. Frou-frou Foxes in Midsummer is just absolutely amazing. I loved it from the first song all the way through.
7/10 - It was quite enjoyable. It completely caught me off guard by how vibey it was. I do not know how much I will revisit this but it was a fun listen.
8/10 - Octopus's Garden is great. I want you was also quite good even though it was quite long but the transition to Here Comes the Sun is so abrupt. The random Italian was surprising. As the album completes the songs flow together so well. Overall pretty good album, but I do not believe it deserves to be the top album of all time on this platform.
5/10 - It was alright. No songs really stood out. Nothing was bad it was just fine.
8/10 - Solid music. A bunch of the songs I really liked. Overall pretty good album.
7/10 - It was kind of all over the place but was super interesting throughout most of the pieces.
6/10 - I liked one song the rest were fine. Nothing bad but nothing great
3/10 - Pow. R. Toc. H. was weird. Interstellar Overdrive was long and bad. The beginning of bike sounded normal and the lyrics were strange "I know mouse and he hasn't got a house I don't know why I call him Gerald." And then the song ends with geese calling.
5/10 - It was fine, not great but not horrible
7/10 - Quite enjoyable. Most of the songs were fun to listen to. Nothing absolutely stood out but it was a fun listen.
4/10 - Rocket is so sexual, and it is not the vibe for doing homework. Most of the songs were not things I was that into. XO was pretty good though.
8/10 - Extremely interesting. Each piece was unique and was super cool to listen to. Ce matin-la was my favorite but each one was special.
4/10 - It was not bad. Her voice is pretty good but I did not love it and some of the songs kind of dragged on.
4/10 - None of the songs were great but none were bad. Some were too long. Nothing surprised me.
6/10 - Overall pretty decent. Not fantastic but some good songs. I like what Katie Did and can see why its the most popular other than the first song.
8/10 - Pretty enjoyable country music. Waltz me and down to my last cigarette stood out to me.
7/10 - I feel like a lot of these songs have been sampled or covered and made more popular because of the sample or cover. Overall sounded great.
8/10 - Quite enjoyable. It sounded very pleasant and while they were similar they worked well for me. Mr. Tambourine Man went hard.
4/10 - Not very interesting and his voice is quite whiny and annoying.
3/10 - There was one or two ok songs, but most of them were too long and Farmer John and Mansion on the Hill were just bad. love and only love was not bad but it did not need to be 10 minutes.
8/10 - I think calling a zebra a black and white horse pretty funny. The songs sound similar but I like the vibe quite a bit and there was enough difference to find songs that I liked. Take Care was fantastic
8/10 - Great music with a wide array of styles. In the morning of magicians and fight test go extremely hard and Yoshimi battles the pink robots part 1 is great.
3.5/10 - Why did Justin say he wants to be my mother. Stop trying to sleep with me please. Not that bad musically but I did not enjoy the lyrics most of the time.
6/10 - It was pretty good. The chill vibe was nice but nothing major stood out to me.
5/10 - His voice sounded kind of whiny. I did not hate any pieces and I only sort of liked As Ugly as I seem. Although the Nurse was interesting since it sounded like a marimba mixed with random rock accents.
6/10 - there were some of the songs that I thought were weird but some of them were also pretty good. Like Hot House of Omagarashid went crazy and was still weird.
4/10 - Some of the songs sound literally the exact same. The lyrics on some of the songs are also just weird. Especially Wham Bam.
2/10 - This album was kind of trash. There were no enjoyable songs and every song had kind of gruesome lyrics. I was not a huge fan of Eminem telling his daughter about how he killed her mom.
7/10 - I enjoyed most of the album there was a nice mix of instruments including strings which were nice. While not all of them were bops the slower and sad songs had dissonance which was quite fitting to the theme.
6/10 - I enjoyed most of the songs but they were all too long. The first song has great parts but its 21 minutes long so I would never really listen to it in my free time. It was great to listen to while chasing my target in assassin. Inner City Life- baby Boy's edit was great.
3/10 - Songs all meshed together since they were similar. They were also all quite long. I do not like the screamish vocals. The Frayed Ends of Sanity has the O-RE-O part from Wreck it Ralph in it.
5/10 - Not as good as the other kinks album but still pretty good.
6/10 - It sounded kind of like tears for fears in my opinion. Seems like it has similarities to early electronic music. But overall, not amazing.
2/10 - I like the call back to the first song in the second song. But most of these songs are absolutely terrible. Get out of my house is outrageously horrible. Dry your eyes was not that bad. Why was his TV broken in every single song, like he mentioned his tele in I think every song. I am so glad he found his thousand quid at the end of it all. How the heck did it get into his TV though? I have yet to decide what I think deserves a 1/10 but I think there will be an album that will earn that score.
6/10 - Chic Cheer was pretty boring as it was just them saying Chic over and over again. The first half sounded pretty new but the second half could have been a sister sledge song and I would not have been surprised. I liked the guitar and sax solos though. Also I should not have given sister sledge 5 stars
6/10 - Pretty chill and quite enjoyable. I liked most of the songs including walk of life and why worry?. I had heard most of the first half of the album and some of the lyrics in Money For Nothing are less than ideal. The songs are also kind of long.
7/10 - Everybody hurts is such a meme song but there were some absolute bangers in this album Ignoreland was the only one I had not heard that I liked quite a lot. But The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite is good and so is Man on the Moon and Nightswimming
7/10 - I started as not the biggest fan of this album but it grew on me as it went on. On some of the songs his voice is annoying but the guitar and other songs it is fantastic.
5/10 - There were some nice songs. I liked the old-timey feel but also they were not the most interesting all the way through. Helpless was good though.
7/10 - I wanted to like this album so much more. I wanted to given it a 5 but there were just not enough great songs. The famous songs are fantastic but the rest are ok to good. I also think I would have rated it higher if I didn't listen to Little Dark Age directly after which I would probably rate a 10/10
4/10 - The songs were kinda slow his voice was pretty annoying. I had to listen to this album twice since the first time I was 100% locked into fifa and I wish I did not listen to it again.
7/10 - Pretty enjoyable all the way through. Wind up was my favorite song but most of the songs were quite nice to listen to.
7/10 - Great album to listen to. There were a bunch of songs that I had heard before and quite liked. I know I'm not wrong and walk a thin line were new songs that I quite liked. Tusk is a fantastic song but there was a version that I had heard so many times of it that the one on the album just does not work for me. I looked it up and found the version that I liked. It was a random live version that I liked more because the voice is slightly more prominent.
4/10 - Not the best in my opinion. Some of the songs were fine but most were just slightly bad.
6/10 - Pretty good but I need to be in the right mood to listen to jazz. That mood was not when i was listening to it. Insaneintherain made a jazz cover of pokemon songs that I absolutely love because he took the songs that I liked and made them even more jazzy which was great. Sometimes jazz on its own does not do it for me.
6/10 - There was some good songs. Some bad songs. But it was too long and with an album that long it will likely end up just mid.
6/10 - There were some songs that were decent but two that I really liked. Unison and Not Up to You. Overall her voice is not the most good sounding to me which is why its close to the middle but those two songs bring it up a bit.
7/10 - There were some good songs. Some of it was too edgy for me but others were good. Susan's house was weird
5/10 - I feel like my emotions on the peter gabriel albums (other than so) are all the same. They are just ok. Like there are some songs that are better than others but they are just all mid.
4/10 - Wham bam, thank you ma'am has returned. It was so screamy part of the time and that was quite unenjoyable. It was overall alright but not good. In starship the counting was kinda sick ngl
5/10 - I feel like talking heads are experimental in a way that I am not a huge fan of. Some of their songs I enjoy quite a bit but most of these were not my favorite. I Zimbra was great and Heaven was pretty good but the rest were not for me.
7/10 - Good and relaxing music. Fast Car is probably the best song by far but the other songs arent bad
5/10 - It was just alright country. Some of the songs sounded good but they meshed together. It was kind of crazy how different this album was compared to the other The Byrds album
4/10 - There were some bangers ngl. \"A shotgun will shoot a dagger will knife\" is quite a bar. I liked the little jazz bits in some of the pieces. It sounded like a musical or like the soundtrack to a movie.
8/10 - There were some bangers, my best friend's girl and just what I needed are classics and some of the other songs were decent as well.
4/10 - Birmingham mentioned +1 Lots of screaming -2. Overall not my ideal type of music. It was not terrible but not too good in my opinion. I know why God Save the Queen and Anarchy In the UK are the most popular they were the best songs.
3/10 - I do not think I understood a single word he has said in this album. Lexicon Devil went kinda hard. In the background of Shut Down someone just randomly smacked a piano a few times. Overall pretty bad.
6/10 - It was pretty good to start but as the album went on it went downhill. The last song was just terrible. He just kept saying peoples names over and over and over and over again for 12 minutes. What was the point of that. I am surprised I liked some of these songs since I am not usually a fan of any type of rap but some of the songs worked out. Shoutout to Myspace
6/10 - Most of the songs flowed together and it made them sound the same. It was quite mellow which was decent from studying however, it was not the most enjoyable. A few songs stood out as better but overall it was mid.
3/10 - This is some of the weirdest things I have ever listened to. It is extremely chill Christian Rock that does not really go anywhere. So many of the songs dragged on and on and on it felt. There was no build up to anything. And a 12 minute and a 14 minute song for nothing is awful. All in all it was not enjoyable to listen to but in a completely different way when compared to most of the albums I have not liked so far.
7/10 - His raspy voice is super interesting. I have heard a bunch of the songs before and they are pretty good. Jungleland was pretty long but the rest were different lengths and they were not extremely similar so songs sounded different. Overall pretty good
6/10 - There was some songs that I liked a little bit. It was all too much though some of the time. I can see why run to the hills and hallowed be thy name two of the more popular songs since they were my favorites from the album as well. I do not think I will really listen to them in my free time however.
7/10 - Pretty Jazzy. Earlier pieces were better imo, and flight of the foo birds was great. Some of the songs when less things are happening it is less interesting.
3.5/10 - Visions of you was okay but not good enough for me to like it. Relight the flame was pretty bad however. After Bomba was ok it was a few more bad songs. The last song was better than the rest but still not great. Nothing wowed me.
2/10 - What the heck is this intro. One of the strangest things I have listened to. Starting with the birth of a child, then a fight between two parents and then a shooting, then idk. One More Chance is a weird song. I have surprisingly heard part of Juicy before. Most of these songs were just so uncomfortable to listen to. There were way too many sex noises and so many of the songs were just about sex and cheating/being cheated on. I usually do not like rap music but this is significantly worse than the rap music I usually dislike
6/10 - lifting while listening to this album was a great idea. The more upbeat songs worked really well for the grind. I think the faster the song is the more I like it when it comes to Iron Maiden. Like the slow songs are kinda mid to bad. Phantom of the opera is the best song
5/10 - It was alright. One of the songs background pieces sounded exactly like pass me by if you are only passing through. It was cool to have like every combination of the three people. My favorite song was wildflowers but other than that and farther along the songs were not great.
3/10 - It was similar to the Iron Maiden albums but just significantly worse. His voice was annoying especially in five magics when the second voice joins in. Do not plan on ever listening to this again
8/10 - This album is so good. I was designing a dnd puzzle while listening to it and it was just so perfect to figure out how I wanted it to work. parts 2, 4, and 6 were the best but it was all good.
6.5/10 - The songs that are popular are popular for a reason. They are good her voice is great and they tell a decent story. The songs that are not popular are not popular for a reason, they are just fine. Overall a decent album but not something I will probably listen to on a daily basis. If they came on on the radio I would sing along but I am not turning it on.
7/10 - Better than the other Bowie album. There were a few songs I enjoyed quite a bit. There was a major mood and style shift that caught me off guard but Moss garden was quite good. However, i was even more surprised on the switch back for secret life of arabia
8/10 - I started off against it but as the album went on it grew quite a bit. I was cleaning during this album so it was surprising to me how much I enjoyed it. one of these things first was probably the best song
7/10 - We have had a decent streak recently. There was quite a few good songs and one that I had heard before. I can’t believe Franz Ferdinand released music 90 years after his death. That’s kinda crazy
3.5/10 - Better than most of the rap albums we have gotten so far in my opinion. But I feel like there is a good chance that the people actually in the rap community will have an opposing opinion. Life's a B kind of sounds like a Beastie Boys song if the voice was different. Also I see Lupe Fiasco took a hint from Nas and brought it to a whole new level. Instead of half a song being names of his boys Lupe made an entire 10 minute song about it.
8.5/10 - This album covered so many genres of music from classicalish through dnb. They also did most of these genres quite well. I loved a bunch of the pieces but with an album of this length some are going to miss like mushrooms and roses. Tightrope is the most popular song from the album and it was alright but the second most popular song Cold War was fantastic.
3.75- Her voice is so annoying. What the heck is going on in the background of it was a pleasure then. Its just like random scraping and high pitched, out of tune notes. Her voice is not the main idea in most of the pieces which is good since I do not like her voice but, the other parts of the music is also bad so it does not really solve the problem. The middle part of Chelsea Girls was pretty relaxing (when she is not singing). The flute works well. I want to say that the album got better as it went on but Wrap your troubles in dreams fell back into the same pitfalls as the first half. Overall not great.
7/10 - The random "I ain't got leukemia was crazy" in somebody have mercy. Every song was so groovy. He sounds so into the music which is just amazing to hear. Some of the songs it was annoying to hear him talk to the crowd or the crowd talking back since it takes away from the music.
2/10 - The first song is absolutely terrible. The second song is better but still pretty bad. The singing is terrible but the rest is pretty good. "whaaat do you dooo with a drunken sailor" bro this album is awful. I would keep making fun of the songs or saying they are bad but it would just get old quickly. It is kind of crazy to me how many times I have written that my favorite parts of this album is when they do not sing. Except for Blow Daddy-O there is no singing but its still awful.
3/10 - I am officially signing the petition for Lucas to go back to rating out of 10. The intro of the first song is so funny to me. The ragtime bit of Cowboy came out of nowhere. This album is probably better than Dub housing yet I want to listen to it less because at least that one was kind of interesting and funny to listen to because of how bad it was. What is with rap being so vulgar about having sex, maybe some people like kid Rock explaining how he aggressively has sex. But I am not that guy. Only God knows why was decent. I am confused as to why where u at rock does not have the part of the album where his mom is calling him asking where he is. Black Chick, White Guy had a story which made it a little better.
8/10 - Tears For Fears has a very interesting style of making music that I quite enjoy. Obviously Everybody wants to rule the world is well known for being a great song but the other songs on the album were pretty good and enjoyed Listen quite a bit as well.
7/10 - if this album was every other song it might be a 9 or a 10. But if it was only the songs that were excluded in that every other it would be like a 3 or a 4. The last 2 songs however are pretty decent. I can hear so much inspiration was pulled from albums like this. Even in the songs I don’t like it likely inspired other songs I don’t like. The second song reminds me a bit of a few topi songs that I don’t enjoy greatly.
6/10 - It was fine. I liked how short it was tbh. The songs kind of sounded all the same. This was beneficial since they were all nice to listen to but nothing revolutionary or fantastic.
4/10 - She sounds like Bjork but with a better voice. The songs are just weird and the only thing I can relate it to is Bjork. One of the songs ended decently but the weird voice and random instruments at times feel like Bjork. Also one of the youtube comments said she opened for Bjork which is kinda funny to me. The end of the last song was also quite strange and did not end in a way that sounded like an ending. I think I rated vespertine by Bjork too high.
5/10 - Some of the samples are pretty cool and they do a good job of bringing them into the music. Some of the songs however are quite strange. Building Steam with a grain of salt and changeling I enjoyed parts of and some of what does your soul look like was good too however, it was all just kind of strange.
4/10 - I am confused by the naming formats of the songs. Why are the Us and 2s and 4s in quotes. I understand that its not the normal spelling but I think people will get what they mean. When listening to the first six songs I was like I am not going to like anything on this album probably but Good Newz Comin' (good news is what?) was pretty good. Also having ain't no mountain high enough as a sample caught me off guard. I found it interesting how most pieces had a special drum that was unique to that song. Like the more classical bongoish drums, jingle bells and random other stuff.
9/10 - Absolute banger of an album. I enjoyed almost every song on this. This is exactly the pre-edm electronic music that I love. Every song had something new and it changed as the songs went on which was so cool. I loved the way that the songs evolved. Overall a great album that I will listen to more.
4/10 - The second song seemed decent enough so I was expecting an ok album. But its been pretty bad after that. The songs are so screamy and not enjoyable imo. Nearing the end of the first disc it chilled out a bit. Straight into disk 2 its equally as bad. For instance tales of a scorched earth is absolutely awful. I went back and relistened to the most popular songs and they were better but still not fantastic.
4/10 - It was fine. There was nothing good about it but it was not too terrible. The song about cereal (white women I think) was kind of weird but the rest were fine. I have found a clear correlation between rap songs and talking about cheating/being cheated on and I do not really get it. Maybe I will find a rap album that I actually enjoy at some point in this journey but probably not. We will see in a few years.
5/10 - If I was listening to this on the beach with a glass of wine or like a mai tai or something, this would be an 7 or 8/10 because that is the vibe. Since I was listening to this album at the gym, its more like a 3 or a 4. Overall boring and pretty repetitive. The drums are the exact same in every song I feel. If Red, Red, Wine was on this album it would've gone up a point. To average the numbers it gets a 5
7/10 - I was going to say the best Bowie album so far in the first half but the second kind of let me down. Young Americans and Fascination were both great, but fame was not my favorite. I think Bowie albums are going to be about the same level of goodness for all of them.
8/10 - This album is quite good. My friend is a huge fan of radiohead and I get it now. Each song is different and super enjoyable. Some of them are really vibey while others are more energetic. I feel like grunge music like this can be quite hit or miss for me but most of these songs hit.
6/10 - I feel like most of the songs are decent. A lot of the guitar riffs sound very derivative like I have heard them before. I am not sure if these are based on other people's music or they are based on this tho. Bad Moon Rising is a good song and I enjoyed Lodi. Other than those it was fine with most songs blending together.
2.5/10 - The first word of the album is daddy. A bad start to say the least. Weber and Hay begin almost the exact same and are both very much not worht listening. Human Cannonball was decent but USSA and the O-men are literal trash. Kuntz was interesting but had some redeeming parts. 22 going on 23 was a difficult topic but I do not get why they decided to end the song with cow noises. Overall such a strange album that is pretty bad
6/10 - It was fine. It was just like another rock album. I liked the losing end it felt newish but the rest were just rock songs. Nothing special.
3/10 - We have had some very strange albums this week including this one. Starting with underground I knew that I was in for a surprise. Dave the Butcher sounded more like what I expected the Locust Abortion Technician album to sound like because of its cover art. Most of the songs were just offputting Just another sucker on the vine was ok and so was rainbirds but I do no think I will be revisiting this album.
8.5/10 - The first three songs I absolutely loved and there were a bunch more that I enjoyed too. I would completely understand if someone did not like any of the songs but it works for me. 666 edit also was fantastic.
4/10 - I was not a huge fan of the singing most of the time. It was kind of unsettling. The last song wasn’t so bad and neither was the third song. But overall not great
7/10 - fairly entertaining. Yellow submarine is pretty good but so was get into my life. I also remember playing Eleanor rugby in orchestra and the song is quite a banger
3/10 - pretty trash album. A bunch of the songs were pretty weird including oompa radar which just sounded like a circus. I sort of liked utopia
6/10 - You can't stop me has like toad from mario in the background. Rendez-Vu and Red alert I absolutely loved but the rest were kind of strange. One of the songs he mentioned jaxxing off in the basement since forever or something and it sounded a bit off to me. I think the two songs that I liked brought it up to a 6 from a 4. Overall ok but I will be listening to the two I liked again.
2/10 - At first I was like this just sounds equally as bad as the first album but then I heard the real slim shady which is not a bad song. The rest are decently bad but for the first time I had to turn off a song because I needed a break. When listening to Kim I needed to pause it and listen to anything else because it was too vulgar and I did not like the imagery. I really hope there are no more eminem albums if he stays this horrible. I do not even mind if the music is bad i just do not want to him talk about brutally murdering people.
6/10 - This album was too hard to find. It was pretty decent some of the time and strange some of the time. I feel like either most artists front-stack albums or my opinion on the style of music changes as the album is going on but usually the front half of an album is more enjoyable than the back half, and the same is true here.
6/10 - It was alright. It felt very 80s which makes sense since it was released in 85. I liked the end of absolute a lot, but the rest of it was decent but not amazing.
4/10 - I was pretty bored the whole time. It was not very interesting and made my work feel much longer than I wanted it to
6/10 - Mother was such a strange and weird song that I do not want to listen to again. Also the drum kind of feels like a heartbeat which was sick but the song was bad. The rest of the album was pretty decent and Every Breath you Take, king of pain and wrapped around your finger were all very good. It would be a 7 without Mother
4/10 - I thought this would be more like a bossanova than a rock album I guess. Rock Music was bad and Is She Weird was, well, pretty weird. Overall pretty strange album, but not great
6/10 - Decent Jazz but I was kind of locked out and did not pay too much attention.
7/10 - It was quite a good album. I really like Paul Simon so I had a feeling I would enjoy it but the songs were just nice to listen to and pretty relaxing.
5/10 - I’m not the biggest fan of nirvana and this album as a whole was just kind of the same nirvana that I have heard before. Although I thought I’m on a plain was so funny for some reason.
5/10 - It was pretty okay. It sounded pretty similar. I thought the song cars and girls was pretty funny though. The rest were just fine.
6/10 - It was pretty interesting although not fantastic. Some of the songs hit and a bunch did not. It was similar to some other artists but I could not quite put my finger on it.
7/10 - It was pretty good, not as good as the other Stevie Wonder album. There was some nice pieces but no stand out ones.
5/10 - Respect is a classic song but the rest did not stun me. I was not the most locked in during this album, I was trying to problem solve while playing pokerogue and it was not going well.
6/10 - A bunch of the intros are super cool, but they get worse when it gets to the middle of the songs. The whole album was alright. I think they each had good potential with their intros but the song itself never lived up to the hype I was feeling.
4/10 - Its pretty groovy but I am just not vibing with it really. Its quite repetitive within songs but not in the way I enjoy. Although each song is very different which is nice to hear. The naming convention is funny to me. The last song was my favorite.
9/10 - It actually was so good. I was underwhelmed at first and then as it went on it felt so much better. I think went back and relistened to the first few tracks and they were fantastic. It was a great listen for a chill vibe.
6/10 - It was alright to start but sold to the highest bidder caught me off guard. It kind of went hard tho. The king is in the counting house was so old sounding but also did not really have any melody. It was sort of talk-singing. There is a great amount of variety on this album. Although Luvin just sounds like a beatles album. All over the place and because of that there were a lot of up and downs.
3/10 - The songs are quite strange to be honest. The lyrics are kind of crazy. I think I call b4 I cum is a clear example of this idea. Toilet tisha was not a banger. It was not great overall, but there were some times that I sort of enjoyed. Do not think I will revisit this one
8/10 - I do not know if I was just in a bad mood or if these songs were better than the other Aretha Franklin album but I enjoyed these songs so much more. I felt like the music as a whole was simply better.
8.5/10 - I don’t know why but the pirate/Wild West music just works for me. I don’t really enjoy his voice but everything else is just so amazing. I can fully see myself singing to these songs on a road trip or while camping or even studying. This doesn’t deserve 5 stars probably but for me it’s just too good. Waltzing Matilda brought it down a little bit but it wasnt bad enough to remove the 5 star status
6/10 - It was alright. It was sort of nice to listen to but nothing stood out to me as great or as terrible. I would not play the album again since there are just songs I like more.
3/10 - I did not enjoy don't believe the hype, the background moaning like thing was just so bad (huheheah). The intro to terminator X and Mind terrorist were both kinda cool but the rest of the songs I did not enjoy. The screaming sample in caught can we get a witness was not very enjoyable. Night of the living baseheads had a part that I enjoyed. I can't tell if party for your right to fight inspired fight for your right to party by beastie boys but i feel like it did. Overall an album I did not enjoy listening to
6/10 - These songs are super hit or miss to me, and there are more misses than hits. 1000 umbrellas was interesting to say the least. A few of the later songs were fun to listen to but nothing was amazing.
2/10 - this album just made me so uncomfortable the whole time. Parts of it were boring but most of it was just so strange and off putting. It is also uncomfortable in a different way than the Eminem albums were. I never plan on listening to any of these songs ever again
4/10 - The songs were all kind of weird. I did not enjoy most of the songs. The only one that was kind of enjoyable was girl. Worse than the other Beck album.
4/10 - I feel like if this album was half as long it would have been a 6 but its just so long. I had to break it apart into different sessions otherwise it would have been to much of the same thing. Overall it has some decent moments but it was not very enjoyable due to its length. The orchestra was kind of cool tho. It was the worst version of enter sandman I have ever heard.
4/10 - it was an alright album. I am not a huge fan or the soul/r&b stuff but there were some ok songs.
6/10 - Opening with a meme song is great but it was really interesting going from a short song to a long song and back and forth for a bit like that. There were some other songs that I enjoyed however the last two were so long and I did not fully vibe with.
4/10 - I was kind of just bored the whole time. It really sounded like the 60s not in a negative or positive way but in a way that made it a product of its time. Not something I will revisit because it was too boring.
3/10 - as this album went on my rating just went lower and lower. It started at like a 6 then I got sick of the German so it dropped to like a 5 and then the second half of the album was just so bad then it went to a 3
5/10 - It was alright, I did not love it but did not greatly dislike it. My back pages was a great song which explains why it has the most plays by 17 million.
4/10 - What was happening in the background of Barmy. It really just sounds like someone who does not know how to play an instrument was just going ham. The first half is quite weird and the second half sounds like a british punk rock band. I liked Rollin Dany but thats about it
6/10 - There was some decent songs but nothing stood out to me. Break on through was pretty good and so was twentieth century fox and light my fire. The beginning of the end i have heard before but the rest of the song was pretty bad.
5/10 - His voice is so sultry but its not the most appealing to me specifically. He also adds a lot of vocalizations to the songs, like grunting which is rarely something I enjoy. I feel like what he is saying is so sensual sometimes and I do not enjoy it. Also I feel like we did not need two reprises to when did you stop loving me, when did I stop loving you
4/10 - It was equally as mid as the other album but there was not a song I already knew. Plus I did not enjoy her switching between the singing and talking in one of the songs.
8/10 - I do not know what it is about Nick Drake where the more I listen to it the significantly more I like his music. Like as the album goes on every song becomes great. I really compared this to the Joni Mitchell album since I feel like they are trying to fit the same niche and I think Nick Drake just does better on all accounts. His voice is nicer to listen to and his instrumentals are significantly better. Thoughts of Mary Jane and Man In A Shed both show his amazing instrumentals.
6/10 - Parts of this remind me of Peking O. The first two songs were not very interesting. But the third song was pretty good. Overall the songs that were good were pretty good and the songs that were bad were pretty bad.
4/10 - I did not enjoy most of these songs tbh. His voice was pretty annoying and I did not like most of the instrumentals.
6/10 - I thought this artist and the one two albums ago was the same but, its Suba instead of Sabu. Na Neblina and Segredo were pretty good. I listened to the last few songs while doing the workout and it was not the vibe. It was a nice mix of emotions and pretty interesting
9/10 - This was a fantastic album. I loved almost every song on it. And the cover art is actually so funny to me. I kind of wish the songs flowed together nicer and didnt all end in a fade out.
6/10 - It was not fantastic. It has some good songs that are extremely popular but the new ones were not that good.
6/10 - It was quite literally all over the place. They really took a lot of creative liberties. Some of them worked and some of them did not. Same as it ever was
3/10 - It was alright but I mean its just not the kind of music I enjoy. It felt like nothing was happening. Will not be revisiting.
3/10 - It was just bad. Although him giving directions was pretty funny and he continued the tradition of rappers spending an entire song on shouting out random people. The rock song came out of no where but it was alright.
5/10 - It was kind of boring. She kind of sounded like bjork imo. Also the fanfare in the middle of one of the pieces was very out of place in my opinion.
4/10 - It was all over the place in a way I do not enjoy. it sounded a bit like tago mago which lucas says makes sense bc its the same genre. A few songs were ambient and then Hero was crazy and loud.
5/10 - It was a worse David Bowie album. It was short but sounded like his music just a little worse.
3/10 - It was boring and repetitive feeling. She has the raspy singing on lock but I do not enjoy it that much. I just thought it was bad.
6/10 - It was pretty good. It was the embodiment of Elvis in my opinion. It just sounded like songs he would make and they were pretty good. His voice is so particular and that made them sound more similar Suspicious minds was a fantastic song tho.
7/10 - It was pretty good but nothing fantastic. Never let me down aggro mix went hard. I thought I would have liked Depeche mode more than I did
8/10 - this was better than the other David Bowie albums. I enjoyed a bunch of the songs that I had heard before and some other ones that I hadn’t.
6/10 - It was pretty decent. I liked the look of love and all of my heart a good deal but omg poison arrow got on my nerves so quickly. And the way they brought it back in the theme from "mantrap" just upset me. If that song was not on there it would probably be a 7/7.5. I liked the overall vibe.
3/10 - This was not a good album to say the least. I liked one song, Straight to You, the other songs I really did not enjoy. His voice was annoying the beat was bad. It was just a mix of bad. Straight to You saved it a little bit
6.5/10 - The minimalist stylings work super well. I think it is a fantastic chill album that is so nice to listen to. I think I will revisit this whenever I am in the mood. I think that if only half of the songs were this mellow I would be more into it since there would be changes in the feelings.
4/10 - I did not like his voice. I will not listen to this again probably
4.5/10 - It sounded exactly like the George Jones album but with a different singer, which I liked a little bit less. However, I was not in the mood today to be listening to this. Also I am surprised by the amount of songs that are in this style with lyrics about sex but in the least vulgar way possible yet they cover topics like cheating.
6/10 - It was alright. The first two songs had the exact same message but different words. It was almost like he just took the lyrics of the first song and put it through google translate a couple of times and called it a new song. The other songs did not really stick out to me
6.5/10 - While I liked the other Van Morrison album a lot this one just did not hit as hard. He played some of the songs off of the album but they were just worse. Like he kind of ruined into the mystic imo. I liked Saint Dominic's preview quite a bit.
7/10 - It was very good. I really enjoyed listening to it. I do not have much more to say
5/10 - It was the definition of a rock album. Nothing crazy happened. Nothing stood out too much to me. But then again nothing was terrible.
4/10 - It is about the same as the other smashing pumpkins album. I felt the same feelings of he cannot sing and the album is screamy. I sort of liked the beginning of mayonnaise but once he started singing it went downhill greatly,
3/10 - Peephole has some clown music playing. The whole album can be surmised by "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
3.5/10 - See System of a Down review but a few less H's
6/10 - This was a severe let down. Like the music was alright but I like the cure most of the time and this album just did not do it for me. It was kind of boring the whole time.
5/10 - It would be a 6 but -1 for not being on spotify. It was an alright album but nothing crazy. I did not pay the most attention because for me to listen to this again has to be fantastic and it just was not. I liked the first song a decent bit but it just went downhill as it went on.
4/10 - Don't tread on me has the theme from America from West Side Story in it. its a metallica album, it sounds like the rest of them
4/10 - it was alright. I’m not the most into r&b ehich I think think this is. I lik f the song with sampha a little bit but the rest were ok to bad.
5/10 - Short and mid. Although my thoughts about how albums of this era always have a song about cheating somehow. I have heard great balls of fire surprisingly,
2/10 - I absolutely despised this album. It was just so off putting the entire time. I also listened to it while quite stressed so that definitely did not help. There were no songs that I enjoyed listening too and just wanted it to end.
3/10 - It was just another rap album. I did not like it or dislike it that much more than the other ones so its in the same place.
7/10 - It was a nice relaxing listen while doing homework. Watermelon man was kind of weird but it fit in nicely. I might put this on a chill homework playlist but nothin else.
6/10 - I was fully ready to hate this album but, it grew on me. I liked the Skank Heads and I'm not afraid a bit. The rest of the songs I did not love and it was strange.
5/10 - It was not that interesting overall. Lucas and I listened to nothing compares 2 u at schatz and he told me how his dad likes the song. So I liked that song a little more than the rest
6/10 - I enjoyed most of it but the last song explained how the movie went and it was pretty gory and made me sad. I know that its telling a sad story but still...
6/10 - it was like the same as deja vu. It was not great but not horrible. I feel like the vibes are good but the music is fine.
5/10 - I feel like I have overrated almost every album of this style. Sometimes it hits sure, but every time I get one of the songs from a country album like this I want to skip it. It feels right when listening to the whole album but when I am not forced to listen to it, it does not work as well.
3/10 - I think that it is rap. The two songs I had heard were alright probably just because I have heard them enough times that they are manageable. The end of Back Down was strange and the rest of the songs were not that memorable.
5/10 - It was alright. I mean fairly relaxing but nothing special. His voice is alright and the instrumentals are pretty good. I liked Georgia on my mind but other than that it was fine.
7/10 - it was pretty good but I feel like I don’t get all of the Radiohead hype. I mean it’s pretty good but maybe I’m missing something
4/10 - I do not really remember it all that much. I was grinding the whole time. It seemed sort of just like noise but not noise music. It was just not great and not that memorable
5/10 - At first I was like another british rap album yay. Then it was alright and I liked a few songs. I was too busy to rate it yet so I did not. I just relistened to the songs I thought I liked and they were fine but not as good as I remember.
7/10 - I really liked turn to stone and Latitude 88 North and Mr. blue sky but that's a given. The rest of the album was pretty good though. I feel like this is something I would revisit. I think they used the orchestra part of their name well.
5/10 - They kind of all blended together. Some of the songs were bad and some were slightly better. 20 something was weird.
6/10 - I really liked two weeks but other than that it was quite strange. A lot of it near the second half sounded just like noise.
5/10 - There is something so interesting about how funk is the genre that says their name the most often. And whatever is in second is not even close. Overall this was pretty interesting, but not amazing, at the beginning and then by the end it was just a guitar solo for a while. Do not really want to revisit and the fact it is not on spotify makes that pretty easy to do.
7/10 - The popular songs are pretty good, the less popular songs are alright. I liked Hells Bells and thought it was cool bc one of the critical role parties is called Bells Hells, after one of the characters who died, and I guess it was partially named after this song.
4/10 - I do not like grunge I have learned. It was a lot of noise that I did not enjoy listening to. Also why are there so many versions of the same songs on this album on spotify.
3/10 - It was certainly interesting. I felt like I was in the swamps. Hearing the animals growling around me as some guy dithers in front of me. I am not sure when I would play this again because I liked it, I might play it because its funny.
6/10 - It was kind of boring. I was pretty distracted the whole time tbh. We were making chatgpt sing random songs in baby voice. It was pretty funny. The songs sounded pretty similar so if you like the sound youll like the album.
7/10 - It was a vibe to say the least.
4/10 - it was not great. Like it was fine but not the most enjoyable thing to listen to. Some of the lyrics were strange. Tiger in the tank was the epitome of this.
6/10 - There were some good songs and some alright ones. Layla is pretty popular so I had heard it before but I also liked Bell bottom Blues. Overall it was decent but nothing amazing.
6/10 - they made a lot of crazy noises throughout the album. One of my favorites were when they said orange a bunch. I kind of see why my friend likes them but not 10%.
6/10 - I like the other arctic monkeys songs more. They are just more popular so they grew on me. The only song that I felt was similar to the newer songs was Mardy Bum, which I liked. The rest were pretty good but not amazing.
7/10 - I enjoyed it quite a bit. I think this something that Iniyaa would love. Pretty funny album name. Music was pretty chill and I liked Percy's song.
7/10 - Why does good head sound like thunder from thunderstruck. I thought it was pretty good. It was just decent rock but an interesting choice for a band name.
7/10 - It was pretty good. I liked the songs I knew and some of the other songs were decent. Although I was not a huge fan of Ill Wait
8/10 - Got to say Steely and Dan worked really well together on this one. Rikki don't lose that number is the only song from this album that I had heard before but I liked Night by Night, Pretzel Logic and Charlie Freak alongside it.
3/10 - It was loud and it was bad. Nothing was very good and I had not heard any of the songs before so there was nothing that I have become stockholmed into enjoying.
6/10 - This bjork album really had the energy of bjork sings and then someone in a different room plays whatever they want on an instrument or two and then someone else finds some nature sound to throw in the background. They then submit the music without listening. Like someone in love is the epitome of this. I liked Big Time Sensuality and Play Dead. Somehow Bjork always makes something I like.
6/10 - It was alright. I liked this is the day and after hearing it in music league I liked it more. The rest of the songs were decent but not great. Overall pretty chill nothing crazy.
6/10 - It just sounded like default rock. She talks to angels was alright, so was twice as hard and could i've been so blind. The songs sounded quite similar and sort of like ACDC and other rock bands.
3/10 - His voice is so annoying omg. I really was not expecting most of this to be reggae, and bad reggae at that. Most of the songs are pretty bad. Stupid Marriage is well, stupid. Too much too young was all about contraception which was strange as well. He is just mad bc the girl has a kid and now cant sleep with him.
3/10 - "My horses legs look like four brown shotguns" is quite a lyric. Why does this guy hate horse legs? His singing is pretty bad. I did not like any of the songs to be honest.
4/10 - Gives Mitski energy. It was just kind of boring. I did not love her voice. However, the production was pretty good but a little repetitive.
5/10 - Ready or Not sounds like it is sampled by some random mid 2010s song. It also sounds like somebody's watching me inspired a song from the 2000s. The end of the Beast was crazy. It was just someone ordering some food and then they began fighting over the food, I guess. I cannot tell if I have just heard these songs before, these songs are samples or they are all sampled by other artists. There were some strongish songs and a bunch of songs I did not enjoy that much. I think the woman singing was the best parts of the whole thing. Its a 5 not because the songs are mid but because of the average.
4/10 - Generic rock album. I thought I would know born to be wild because its the name of a song that I had on this fake guitar that I used to play way to often when i was like 6. But I do not think that its the same song. A bit of a let down.
7/10 - I actually loved a bunch of this album. When you were mine, she bop and all through the night were all so good. I also enjoyed money changes everything a good bit. The main problem with this album is her voice. I cannot stand Cyndi Lauper's voice this album would definitely be an 8/10 if not a 9/10 if there was a different singer.
6/10 - I like the first two songs as I have heard them so many times. But they are also just great songs. The rest was just alright. I wanted to rate this higher before listening but it just did not work.
7.5/10 - Decent rock album. I had heard and liked the first three songs before. The other songs were decent. I liked the non-singing parts in this album more than other rock albums we have gotten so far. Overall pretty good.
4/10 - I do not know why but I thought My Bloody Valentine was a punk rock band. The music was not necessarily bad and there were some interesting parts but overall it was just kind of boring.
5/10 - I mean it sounded old timey. I have talked about this before but live albums are just not as good simply bc of the audience yelling the whole time. It was fine.
6/10 - the songs I knew were good the rest were kind of boring. It was just generic rock but somehow some songs were more popular
4/10 - I do not really remember it. It was alright. The songs all flowed together and I do not plan on returning to it.
7/10 - a lot was going on and it was all over the place. But it hit places sometimes. He was yelling about a bunch of random stuff but the best one was during monkey going to heaven.
7/10 - Similar to a bunch of other albums as in the songs I knew were good, the rest were mid. Elton John is a good musician so the songs that were mid were slightly better than mid.
4/10 - idk it sounds like Beyoncé. Some of the songs were too sexually focused in my opinion. The rest were just not that interesting.
4/10 - The Rolling Stones are boring.
7/10 - The popular songs are bangers and the rest are pretty good. I liked Jenny was a Friend of Mine quite a bit.
5/10 - Idk it was fine, it was punk rock which is alright but nothing revolutionary.
7/10 - I really like this album. It is pretty chill but exciting at the same time. He does a great job with the electronici-sh sounds. Also I love the song intro where he is just complaining about people bad at mixing and editing.
6/10 - It was fine. The who makes interesting music, some if it is good and some of it is bad but its interesting. I liked how some of the songs ended with like a radio broadcast thing which was pretty cool imo.
3/10 - Frisbee mentioned. Only songs I kind of enjoyed was express yourself. The rest were rap and unenjoyable.
6/10 - I feel like the cover art does not give the energy that the album actually has. The album overall was decent but not fantastic. Some fo the songs like Ole Mulholland and Speedy Marie were weird but other songs like the Vanishing spies I liked.
6/10 - I liked the backing track for a lot of the songs quite a bit. I still do not really like the actual rap part of the song but it was more manageable and enjoyable.
7/10 - I kind of forgot how good some of these songs are. The first two tracks are obvious bangers alongside set fire to the rain. I know someone like you is popular but it did not hit that hard on this listen. The biggest surprise for me was turning tables, I hadn't heard it before and it was very good.
4/10 - It was fine. I do not really like record scratches that much and they were used quite a bit. I did not expect to know a song from the album but I guess so.
7/10 - It was kind of boring but I enjoyed most of the experience. I thought there was some interesting instrumentation and singing.
6/10 - I did not love it that much. There were some enjoyable parts but overall not my favorite. I was going to relisten bc Lucas said it was good and I just never did.
4/10 - I liked Black Hole Sun probably just because I had heard it plenty of times before and the rest were not my style. It was loud and just did not sound very good.
4/10 - It sounded like my horse that matt submitted in music league
6/10 - There was some interesting background parts but the lyrics were weird. Definitely an interesting album but not something I am likely to come back to.
5/10 - It sounds like worse beatles
8/10 - I really liked this album. It kind of reminded me of radiohead for some reason. I thought his voice was nice and the songs were well written.
5/10 - it went from normal rock to boring rock. One of the songs had cool instrumentation. They were soft I have to say.
2/10 - wtf is this album. Sex horror sex bats sex horror sex vampire. It was just noise
5/10 - I thought that this album would be way too loud and rockish however it was actually just boring.
8/10 - Queen is good. Bohemian Rhapsody has become overplayed for me but I liked you're my best friend, '39 and seaside rendezvous. The style is fresh and interesting. I like the way the vocals go together.
3/10 - It was bad and boring. The songs all sounded the same and unenjoyable.
6/10 - They kind of sounded like wonderwall but it was not as good because its not a meme. I liked Slide Away however.
6/10 - A little boring and imagine is overplayed. I sort of enjoyed Oh Yoko!
6/10 - There was some cool and interesting parts but a lot of it was not the best. I think that it is very close to being a great album but i just have too many issues with some of the songs.
4/10 - It was sort of jazzy and rock like but worse in every way. The songs were way too long. The album was over an hour and there were only 4 songs. The one song with lyrics was so bad.
6/10 - I liked some of the earlier songs but others were not as enjoyable. Early in the morning was boring and coconut was insane, but fun to listen to. The rest were just alright.
3/10 - It was way to screamy for me. The songs were just not very fun to listen to.
7/10 - Talking heads will literally make songs about anything. The songs were decent but, very much all over the place.
7/10 - I like the singing parts of this album a lot more than the pure guitar. One rainy wish was my favorite song by far, but if 6 was 9 was my least favorite.
7/10 - Her voice is amazing and a lot of the piano and other background was pretty good. The only time I had heard of Carole King was because she had a musical called Beautiful I think. That song was not especially amazing but, overall pretty good album.
6/10 - Ok if only the first and last songs were in the album and they were each broken up into more manageable pieces this could be a 7 or 8. But they had to make this 40 min album into 4 songs. I liked the first song a decent bits still.
5/10 - The first few songs were not too bad but Re-ignition was really getting on my nerves. The rest of the album was just sort was loud rockish. Decent but nothing insane.
3/10 - it was just bad. David Bowie but bad
6/10 - It is quite close to a 7 or 8/10 because I like most of the songs but they are all too long. There are parts of each song that are extremely good but the mix of each song being too long and the album being similar all the way through reduces the score.
8/10 - I loved their voice, the backing tracks were sick. The first and last songs were both fantastic. Plus them being the first openly trans performer to be nominated for the academy award is super cool.
5/10 - on the title track David Bowie went way to hard on the keys. Some of the other tracks were pretty good but nothing was great.
3/10 - I do not like his singing like at all. The songs without his singing are quite boring. There are multiple times that he starts and then has to re-record and its a part of the song? I just do not get it, it does not sound good.
4/10 - The cover art is interesting to say the least. Sadly the music was good. It was just annoying.
4/10 - The songs were fine but not great. I am not planning on relistening. Less screamy than the last Stooges album but still not good enough to be more than a 4.
5/10 - It was an album from the 70s
6/10 - A little screamy but pretty good. It was not as screamy as some of the albums that were only screaming but still a little too screamy.
6/10 - It was some pretty good jazz. The songs blended together a bit. I was going to listen to chill music and I remembered that this was a jazz album so I listened to it instead and it filled a similar niche. The last song was bad but the rest were good.
6/10 - The songs were all the same it felt but they were all short. 14 songs on a 30 minute album is crazy imo.
5/10 - the cover art goes so hard. The lyrics of the songs reminded me of the everly brothers album we had a while ago. I didn’t love the singing but the rest of it was pretty good.
4/10 - it was kind of bad but not horrible for any specific reason
7/10 - there were some pretty interesting tracks. A lot of repetitive stuff and only some of it worked for me.
7.5/10 - I liked the guitar on a bunch of the songs. Was not expecting it to be as good as it was.
7/10 - It was a pretty happy album that brought joy most of the time. It was not too long and had some songs that I had heard before. Overall enjoyable but nothing extraordinary.
4/10 - It was kind of creepy sounding like Story of Isaac, I know it's about the bible story but it was not fun to listen to. Same thing with Lady Midnight.
4/10 - It's a 60s album so it sounds like the Beatles. Especially bracelets of fingers, aren't those just rings?. Some of the songs are just really bad, i.e. well of destiny and baron saturday.
8/10 - Very theatrical which was fun to listen to. I thought the music as a whole was very good.
3/10 - It was screaming all over the place and just bad. Also some very interesting lyrics.
6/10 - It was screamy but somehow I liked it more idk. The voice was more gravely and the backing track was so much better. I liked Idiots Rule a lot and thank you boys was an interesting change of pace.
6/10 - It was all guitar which is both a good thing and a bad thing. My dad likes Oye Como Va and I did too. The rest were fine.
7/10 - Maybe I hyped it up too much but this did not hit as hard as I wanted it to. It was pretty good but some of the songs were just boring. I liked how to disappear completely and idioteque but also it reminded me of a cover of idioteque that I had heard a while ago. I should have submitted that for covers week in music league.
5/10 - sounded like the other pixies album. Not great one of the songs sounded like something I had heard before.
5/10 - His voice was kind of annoying. The middle songs were bad the last song was decent.
6/10 - every song was decent and I have heard a few of them before. They were just not as good as anything I normally listen to so I’m not going to revisit. It’s close to the line between 3-4 stars
7/10 - it felt like depeche mode the whole time. But I like depeche mode so it was a positive.
7/10 - HIs voice is quite good and I like the piano most of the time. It has some repetitions which is not the most fun to listen to some times. Overall a pretty solid album with a lot of hits.
6/10 - It was fine. It was long and I am just not in the mood. The first 4 songs were default kraftwerk stuff the last one was a bit different.
5/10 - The songs with strings sounded better than the songs without. Those also happened to be the only songs I had heard before and the only songs I liked after.
6/10 - It kind of sounded like david bowie but most of the songs were worse. For some reason I loved new generation tho.
7/10- The songs on this album were better than the other Kings of Leon album. Sex on Fire and Use Somebody I have heard plenty of times. 17 and I want You were pretty strange songs. 17 was creepy sounding and I want You was just bad and weird to listen to.
5/10 - Rem but boring this time.
5/10 - No way they cover a different song on the 1001 albums. They could not find another album that did not cover a different albums song. Its also just generic country. Grievous angel as a name saved it from a 4/10
7/10 - It was better than the live album but still worse than Moondance. Some decent songs and some longer ones. His voice kind of becomes grating over time but I like it most of the time.
6/10 - idk how I feel about the lyric "we all need someone we can cream on." Some of the songs were fine. Jackson likes 2 songs on this album but I still do not get all of the hype. Better than the other rolling stones album.
7.5/10 - I thought were not gonna take it was the other song. I absolutely love Pinball Wizard it is just such a good song. The other songs were not as good but go to the mirror and we're not gonna take it were pretty good. I enjoyed the whole album and I enjoyed reading the story as it went on.
6/10 - Similar to the last Spiritualized album but a little bit worse. There were still a bunch of interesting songs but some that I liked less. Cop Shoot Cop was long and bad. I liked Cool waves and Stay with Me. Sadly no counting in this album.
