What's Going On
Marvin Gayeit was ok, bit overhyped
it was ok, bit overhyped
started out pretty fun, got kinda boring later tho
i've watched liveleak videos that were less depressing than this album 👍
next was cool and the rest was bleh
while not as good as folsom prison, johnny cash noodling with prisoners between songs is always a good time
i just really don't like pearl jam
i like this one, it's very upbeat, banana split, buona sera and gigolo were my favorite songs
come alive was pretty decent, kind of persona ish
after a small amount of research i found that historically, lobotomies could be performed in under 10 minutes. with that information in mind i wonder why mr Dylan decided to spend 72 minutes lobotomizing me
you will set the world on fire and the stars are out tonight are great. this is pretty solid
pretty nice, i've always kinda liked the kinks so this one was no surprise 👍
elevator music
just not my kind of music, not bad tho
pretty rockin, 2nd half of the album was a lot stronger imo. easy listening.
nothing memorable to write about, punk rock with no energy
classic stuff
war makes video game hub area music
beatles-lite, really easy listening and ended very strong.
started strong, ended weak. solid stuff in the middle but nothing too special imo
the best live album of all time, hearing johnny cash crack up at prisoners saying random stuff adds so much to the album.
couple of nice instrumentals and the rest of the songs are pretty non-offensive, wish there was more substance
terrible singer but instrumentals are pretty cool on a couple songs
next was cool and the rest was bleh
it's aight
safesurfer was decent, rest of it was ASS
easy listening and short :)
very easy listening, nice and short too
blues rock? acid rock? psychedelic rock? blue, yellow, pink, whatever man, just keep bringing me that!
wish it was a bit heavier and big fella's voice is unique but i liked this one a lot
i really enjoyed every song on this album
i never understood the appeal of arcade fire
his voice grew on me as it went on, not an album to be listened to during the day.
one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time, this one released on 9/11/2001 and features production done mostly by a young kanye west and just blaze. jay-z is one of the most underrated rappers ever and this is arguably his best work. i know schmidty and riot don't like rap so they won't like this one but it really doesn't get much better than this
some nice sax stuff but not much to talk about
some surprisingly decent tracks but boy a lot of bad cringe stiff
after the album ended, cypress hil started playing and i was much happier with them instead
not a huge rush fan but tom sawyer is a classic and there werw a few other solid songs on this one
it was fine
this was a tough time
sometimes it sounded like there wasn't anything playing at all
really wish they had a bit more grit
this was pretty decent, some whack songs but a few were kinda nice, lotta mid but nothing too offensive.
first song was fun but a bit long, blues for huey was a lot of drums which i'm a big fan of, this could have been half as long and would have been better for it.
sunset blvd/le feel/sometimes i don't know is an UNHINGED 3 track run. the first half of the album is nonsense and the 2nd half is some of the best music i've ever heard
great features, lots of hits, rip gangsta boo
got better as it went, a little long
last 2 songs were decent but nahhhh
decent energy but jesus christ i need some rock
lot of songa that are a little too soft but there's some great songs
frank black is my opp
beautiful album, some of the best music i've ever heard in my life.
started strong, became mid
starts with "Sympathy For The Devil" which is probably my favorite song ever but it tapers off quite a bit after that, not the best stones album
some songs when the guy wasn't singing were ok but this was not good
first half was really nice but it went on too long and got a little boring
started out pretty fun, got kinda boring later tho
how are you gonna name yourself "cowboy junkies" then do this
i've never been the biggest punk fan myself, i like some ramones/sex pistols on the radio from time to time but there's always been a sentiment of "no you don't get it, punk is supposed to be annoying to listen to.", i don't like being annoyed. at least they had the decency to keep it short. (shoutout to the sax tho, ya love to see it)
just very pleasant music
man, "Black Hair" really killed the vibes. first half was really strong, ended kinda weak tho.
adele is a talented lady
when you think about this album coming out in 1999 it's no wonder eminem got as popular as he did
couple of decent songs but a ton of thid is just miserable
Schizophrenia be damned, my boy can write some music
short and had energy the whole time, it was ok
short and fun to listen to
while not as good as folsom prison, johnny cash noodling with prisoners between songs is always a good time
not my thing at all
it's pretty nice but it goes on for entirely too long
the vibes are decent and it isn't long enough to be miserable but this wasn't very good
kinda weird listening to a movie soundtrack without having seen the movie but the vibes were good 👍
some really good songs, some bleh songs, decent enough.
despite the pretty weak paul mccartney song and "pretty young thing" not aging well conceptually, thriller-beat it-billie jean is an absolutely INSANE run of songs and "Wanna be starting something" is an all time grrat album opener. this album is widely regarded as the best album ever made and it doesn't crumble under that pressure/scrutiny. 5/5
i miss the beatles
great old timey folk music
some of the songs have a good energy but a lot of them are too forgettable
starts slow but picks up and just keeps getting better
starts off bad and improves all the way to "acceptable i suppose"
bleh, peaked on first song
An amazing start and finish with Shine On You Crazy Diamond, "Have a Cigar" featuring some of Pink Floyd's best guitar playing, Welcome to the Machine's haunting instrumental and the title song's melancholy vibes, this is far from Pink Floyd's best album but still a masterpiece.
jazz
good beats
johnny cash made some of my favorite music ever with the vibe of "i do lots of drugs and just shot my wife" and later in his career made some of the only music on this planet that can wrench tears from my lizard eyes. Damn your eyes!
still don't like his voice but this album was jamming
idk anything about music theory but as a person with ears, this shit stinks
behold, the last decent music green day ever made! (dookie still washes this album btw)
The Kinks made a lot of very happy music :)
a little too boring at times but he manages some really good stuff in here
i've watched liveleak videos that were less depressing than this album 👍
the album is decent and had pretty good energy all the way through! then it went on for another 30 minutes. 😔
decent jazz, short enough to not get boring
honestly it's more like a 4 but the commitment to the bit makes it a 5
just kinda bland
i dig the erratic schizo vocals but instrumentally most of this album didn't really interest me. drugs was pretty solid though, wish the album had been more of that
it's kind of like folsom prison where johnny cash noodles with the prisoners except instead of prisoners it's people who like jazz music and instead of johnny cash it's tom waits
bland but got ok at the end
this album starts off with like 5 classics in the first 6 songs, it tapers off and the skits kinda drag it down but it's still good. kim is a brutal listen.
really fun jazz, ending track was great
brother can shred a guitar but can't sing worth a lick
just fun classic stuff
easy listening, nothing special
very bland
idk what's going on here but maybe i'm just dumb
not up to the standard of the other bowie albums but the final few tracks had great instrumentals
so long but manages to never be bad
after the album was over a patsy cline song played and i was sad because she was better than all 3 of these gals, still a solid album
straight vibes baby
just kind of bland classic rock
energy gets a little too low at points but will always be a killer album
just nonsense
very nice to listen to + short
not the best beatles album, starts off incredible then gets kinda weak by the end
good blend of vocals and instruments, last talking heads album was kinda weak so i was happy with this one :)
really good
classic vibes
started off very funky then got bland
nice and relaxing while elden ring hurt my feelings
decent enough but i prefer reed's solo stuff
would go hard if i was playing a skating game
decent vibes but idk the language
started off great, tapered off but still good
neil young sucks
love some of the tracks, hate some of the tracks.
decent vibes but a buncha nonsense
just boring most of the time
i love willie nelson
this was pretty good, killer vibes.
too all over the place to be great, couple very good songs tho
i was very sleepy but this was nice
this was terrible
very good, great vibes
metallica's best album, starts and ends very strong
was expecting disco, got knock off beatles instead, not bad 👍
first half was really good and i was having a grand time then it got REALLY bad at the end. :/
frontier psychiatrist and ETOH are all that keeps this from being a 1.
bowling alley music
very bland but not bad at all
just bland
not really my thing but sheesh i've heard every song off this album before. lotta hits.
kinda whack but not really
decent but nothing remarkable
very fun 2000's rap.
whole lotta nothing
ended strong, the 17 minute song was rockin
some decent vibes but waaaaay too long
solid
muse used to make good music
pretty fun
too long and too samey
it is what it is
bland funk
goon squad
bleh
crazy vibes. good stuff.
decent
wonderful album, had never heard it before now.
classic ez listening
fun weird energetic music
catchy but not much special
bit long but easy to listen to
vibes are inconsistent but the quality isn't.
nothing much, jusr decent vibed
it was ok, bit overhyped
very nice, less whacky than some beatles stuff but very peaceful
one of the best rap albums ever.
pretty catchy and pretty short
too inconsistent to be great but has a couple great songs
couple decent songs but this sucked
ended weird but pretty good overall
not sinatra's best work
son of a preacher man is elite
decent album, couple of really catchy songs and nothing bad
amazing stuff
decent but kind of forgettable
decent vibes but too bland
too inconsistent. also not on spotify.
some great vibes but mostly filler, the good is good enough tho
some classic fun hip hop
some solid instrumentals just goes on wayy too long and gets stale
solid vibes but not enough to stand out
classic stones, easy listening
idk man it all just sounds the same
bland
has some good bits, some bad and a lotta mid
kinda bland for neil young
groovy
couple decent songs but mostly whack
lotta hits
solid vibes
bad bob dylan
killer stuff, iron maiden is very underrated all time
one of the best stones albums, so many hits
great stuff, one of the 3 good metallica albums
good vibes but kinda blended together
not jimi's best but still so damn good
a little too samey and a little too long but good vibes all the way through.
good vibes but a little too samey
started off great but got kinda boring
one of the best grunge albums of all time, layne staley is one of the all time greats.
very samey but just good vibes tbh
soft vibes
short enough to not get annoying
some decent stuff on here but then one track just has a bunch of fart noises on it. terrible.
couple of good hits but just kinda blended together
incredible vocals for a live album so old, i like van morrison a lot so it managed to fend off being rated lower, still waaaay too long.
nothing but hits on this one
just kinda bland
at least it was short
just ok
good ideas bad execution
crazy stuff, really weird in a good way
starts off with the one you know and just kinda blends after that.
first song was great, rest was unremarkable.
short high energy
i never liked pantera very much
walk on by is one of the best songs i've ever heard.
some nice classic stuff on her but most of it is bland :/
some hits to start but a bit too slow to be great
bleh
bland classic rock
solid good vibes
amazing stuff
very good
good vibed
couple of good songs, very easy to listen to
weird
can't get more classic than this
who up bjorkin it rn
good vibes
decent but a bit long
easy listening but bland
well recorded but i don't vibe with cheap trick
couple decent songs but blehhhh
got weaker towards the end and i still think shake it off is a miserably annoying song but this REALLY surprised me tbh
classic rock, fun at points, lotta hits, inda bland.
meh
very nice
love pj harvey
solid
early gold like crosstown traffic and the 15 minute long classic of voodoo chile help the early part of the album and the final 2 songs are incredible but the middle kinda drags it down from 5/5
good classic vibes
good vibes but a little too long
decent
mj really was just that guy
it's on the short list of greatest albums ever for a very good reason, i personally prefer The Wall but this album is nothing short of perfection. it doesn't get better than this.
trash but fun trash
decent vibes and a couple cool songs but boring
good stuff, a little too long
bleh
weird but not terrible
the best stones album
not as perfect as the first 3 sabbath albums but still incredible
eh
all over the place
dad rock
