Janelle Monáe
2/5
come alive was pretty decent, kind of persona ish
Bob Dylan
1/5
after a small amount of research i found that historically, lobotomies could be performed in under 10 minutes. with that information in mind i wonder why mr Dylan decided to spend 72 minutes lobotomizing me
David Bowie

beatles-lite, really easy listening and ended very strong.
Tears For Fears
3/5
started strong, ended weak. solid stuff in the middle but nothing too special imo
Johnny Cash
5/5

The Isley Brothers
5/5
i really enjoyed every song on this album
Arcade Fire
2/5
i never understood the appeal of arcade fire
Tom Waits
3/5
his voice grew on me as it went on, not an album to be listened to during the day.
JAY Z
4/5
one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time, this one released on 9/11/2001 and features production done mostly by a young kanye west and just blaze. jay-z is one of the most underrated rappers ever and this is arguably his best work. i know schmidty and riot don't like rap so they won't like this one but it really doesn't get much better than this
Miles Davis
2/5
some nice sax stuff but not much to talk about

Jazmine Sullivan
3/5
this was pretty decent, some whack songs but a few were kinda nice, lotta mid but nothing too offensive.
Hugh Masekela
2/5
first song was fun but a bit long, blues for huey was a lot of drums which i'm a big fan of, this could have been half as long and would have been better for it.
Todd Rundgren
4/5
sunset blvd/le feel/sometimes i don't know is an UNHINGED 3 track run. the first half of the album is nonsense and the 2nd half is some of the best music i've ever heard

3/5
first half was really nice but it went on too long and got a little boring
Steve Winwood
2/5
started out pretty fun, got kinda boring later tho
Cowboy Junkies
1/5
how are you gonna name yourself "cowboy junkies" then do this
X-Ray Spex
1/5
i've never been the biggest punk fan myself, i like some ramones/sex pistols on the radio from time to time but there's always been a sentiment of "no you don't get it, punk is supposed to be annoying to listen to.", i don't like being annoyed. at least they had the decency to keep it short. (shoutout to the sax tho, ya love to see it)
4/5
just very pleasant music
Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
3/5
man, "Black Hair" really killed the vibes. first half was really strong, ended kinda weak tho.
Adele
4/5
adele is a talented lady

kinda weird listening to a movie soundtrack without having seen the movie but the vibes were good 👍
Suede
3/5
some really good songs, some bleh songs, decent enough.
Michael Jackson
5/5
despite the pretty weak paul mccartney song and "pretty young thing" not aging well conceptually, thriller-beat it-billie jean is an absolutely INSANE run of songs and "Wanna be starting something" is an all time grrat album opener. this album is widely regarded as the best album ever made and it doesn't crumble under that pressure/scrutiny. 5/5
Paul McCartney
3/5
i miss the beatles
Fred Neil

2/5
starts off bad and improves all the way to "acceptable i suppose"
U2
2/5
bleh, peaked on first song
Pink Floyd
5/5
An amazing start and finish with Shine On You Crazy Diamond, "Have a Cigar" featuring some of Pink Floyd's best guitar playing, Welcome to the Machine's haunting instrumental and the title song's melancholy vibes, this is far from Pink Floyd's best album but still a masterpiece.
Thelonious Monk
2/5
jazz
Little Simz
3/5
good beats
Johnny Cash
5/5

2/5

Iggy Pop
3/5
bland but got ok at the end
Eminem
3/5
