Reviews (page 13 of 13)
Kinda sounds pretentious, folksy bullshit basically. Boring.
my favs were bridge over troubled water, bye bye love, and so long frank lloyd wright. this album isn’t really my vibe though
Pretty meh, galvojau bus džiazas, sori jei praleidau ką profound
Not everything that is near universally praised will be my cup of tea and that's fine by me. I find some of this to be just over the top corny. Also, I can't unsee that if you put your thumb on Paul's face, Art gets a serious handlebar mustache.
Ehhh
I’m a basic bitch whose favourite song on this album is Cecilia. I don’t think the sound mixing on this has been optimised for streaming/headphones because it was so soft even with my volume turned all the way up and it really got in the way of the listening experience for me. I’d hazard that my rating might be higher if I’d listened via another medium.
i found it pretty boring without much going on, but some nice notes in the middle
Boring, IMO
It was ok; a little slow for me.
one of the greatest folk artists. unfortch for me folk isn't something i can relate too much. just feel like my dad was listening to this a million years ago. some of these songs are straight up slappers though. baby driver? let's f'in go. the anti v. war is good too. this is just the stuff that i am happy exists because it inspired a lot of stuff that i love, but as far as turning on myself; unlikely
cultural important for its big impact. music itself is pretty boring and very light weight.
Good music, but not my piece of cake.
Es como escuchar un album de The Beatles (nunca escuché un album de The Beatles).
Kinda boring
Nu-i Asa smecher
Is Paul Simon a shortarse or is Art Garfunkle a giant with his giant blonde Afro. Why did I go the efforts of Googling to see which was which, I don't care. Are those fucking pan pipes on El Condor Pasa? Why is this album raved about so much? My algothorim tells me folk rock is my favourite genre but I don't like this much. Why is that ? Honourable exception for The Only Living Boy in New York. 2 out of 5 stars
Bit boring innit
2026.01.08.
Got some classics obviously, enjoyed hearing Baby Driver which I don’t think I knew.
Zzzzzz
Très fade, quelques jolies mélodies mais répétitif
yok...olamadi bu...
Honestly a pretty underwhelming album for the highs that came before. Almost everything sounds exactly the same as previous works from Simon & Garfunkel, very derivative if easy to listen to. One of the weaker albums in their discography. A few standouts but a lot of skippable fluff. Top tracks: Bridge Over Troubled Water, The Boxer
done, boring
OK, good harmonies but not my kind of music
DNF need to revise
I don’t even remember
It’s like every other simon n garfuckel album. There is one or two big songs and then a bunch of mediocre forgettable songs. Also the audio mixing was so horrible that I had to take my earbuds out due to the horns damaging my eardrums. 4/10
The album was a little slow for me and didn’t really feel coordinated. My favorite song was the boxer I thought it was a fun song that gave me the same feel that a lot of their contemporaries whose music I enjoy give me. My least I think was frank lloyd wright I don’t know the history of it or how personal it is but it felt disconnected to their album. Overall they felt a lot like an American version of the Beatles and it wasn’t bad just not for me
Bueeeh
It's fine, I know 2 songs for this album lol
Pleasantly surprised. Starts with a few nice gentle songs, then sort of dwindles off without making me mad like the other two Still, not something I enjoy a lot
Not a big fan
A soft and slow listen. Pretty uneventful in my opinion. Not Simon's best work.
I've never really understood the hype around Simon & Garfunkel and had never bothered to listen to any of their albums before. To my surprise, I actually knew five of the tracks on this one. I must have heard them constantly on AM radio in the '70s. The familiar songs were perfectly fine and didn't bother me, but the rest left me cold. The low point was definitely their cover of "Bye Bye Love"; it felt completely out of place. I can't see myself ever putting this on again.
Pleasant. The good tracks are memorable ( The Boxer, Bridge ..., Cecilia) but the rest sound like the soundtrack to a 1973 movie about an architects failing marriage. 2 stars, la la la
It’s the first time i hear a Simon and Garfunkel albums. I know about them for a long time but honestly i don’t see why they are considered so important. I get that they are influential but maybe the folk elements are just not my thing. I will give them another try but that was not it, with the exception of 1 or 2 songs.
I feel like this might have been the inspiration for all the Wes Anderson films ever made. I actually enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Short and sweet. Easy to listen to with some good song writing.
The sound felt very dated, and none of the songs in particular stood out. Not worth re-listening, however the voices were good.
🗯 It’s no Bookends, is it? The sound of two pasty white boys Dutch-ruddering for the final time. You can almost hear the tension under the harmonies — the last, laboured breath of one of pop’s prettiest partnerships. To think this came out in 1970 — the same year as Let It Be, Moondance, After the Gold Rush, Plastic Ono Band, Deja Vu — it’s safe to say Bridge Over Troubled Water wasn’t exactly the era’s edge-pusher. But it did move units, and the hits are still the hits. Cecilia is a proper banger, and the title track does exactly what it’s supposed to: uplifts, uplifts, uplifts (before overstaying its welcome by about 90 seconds). The Boxer sits on the right side of acoustic naff, but Keep the Customer Satisfied tips the other way entirely. They made better, sharper, braver music together — Bookends being the prime example. This one sounds like the breakup it is: grand, earnest, a little over-inflated, and oddly hollow. Verdict: Overrated (beautifully sung, but not beautifully alive) For fans of: Paul Simon, Crosby Stills & Nash, cathedral acoustics, and endings dressed up as triumphs
I actually have inherited a copy of this from my parents of wax. It's made better from the fact it's not JUST Paul Simon. But, as I was visited by several co-workers during my listen, I couldn't help but complain to them. Props to the guy who told me that Garfunkel looks like he has a sweet moustache on the cover. It's pretty depressing album, but good use of horns and percussion. The album title is a catchy song, I guess. In fact, I did enjoy this more than I thought I would. 2 stars.
Not for me. I can see how you'd like it though if you don't like songs. Its not as good as Madvillainy.
Many slight songs are kept aloft for longer than they ought by the parachute silk of Disney strings. Of the first few, the line "like a bridge over troubled water, I will lay me down is memorable," and Cecilia is as unfortunately catchy as a cold on a packed train carriage. The title track is very of its time, a white gospel piano ballad in the region of Let It Be or Carole King's Tapestry. The album picks up with The Boxer, though I think that was the one marred by a saxophone solo at the end. The taut Everly Brothers rhythm of Baby Driver finally brings the album to life. Art and Paul must have thought the album needed more of that energy, as they follow up a silly cod reggae number with a cover of Bye Bye Love. Unfortunately, it's a lovely recording, so their lovely voices and that vital acoustic guitar part are buried under the noise of thousands of punters clapping out of time. It doesn't suit the mood of the album one bit, and it's hard to see why they didn't bash out a good studio take of a song they knew well enough to nail in one go. I ought to mention that The Only Living Boy in New York is quite good. There's also a song about Frank Lloyd Wright, which was an odd coincidence; earlier on the day I played this album, I had read something in Constellation of Genius about the opening of the Imperial Hotel, which had got me thinking about Conor Oberst's Mamah Borthwick (A Sketch).
2,5
Bridge Over Troubled Water is like being served a tiny side salad when you're starving for bold, rich flavor — delicate, polished, and clearly made with care, but too restrained to satisfy a deep craving. Beautiful harmonies, sure, but where’s the spice, the heat, the life? Leaves you still hungry.
Here we are, another one of this site's top-rated albums. I've never listened to Simon & Garfunkel outside of my passing familiarity with "The Sound of Silence", though I'm sure there's one or two other songs of theirs that I've listened to in some way. 69 albums ago, I listened to Paul Simon's solo album, which I wasn't really a fan of - I'm ostensibly not a fan of folk. Maybe the two coming together as a duo is what will woo me. Hmm. It's okay, but this album isn't really my deal. There's an admirable level of variety, some unusual genre picks for a folk album and some pretty nice vocals on a few tracks, though what can I say? This style of music just doesn't appeal to me. I couldn't help but space out to a good number of the songs on this album, even in spite of its admirable runtime. The title track is nice. I always have a weakness for piano ballads, and the vocals aren't half-bad, either. "The Only Living Boy in New York" is also good. The acoustic guitar is pleasing, and I like the echoey vocals that appear near the end of the track. I know this album is a big deal, so I'm not gonna consult the book for reasons why this is in here. I cosign this inclusion.
Good songs
I feel like I should like this more than I do, just because it's a classic. Sure, there are some great melodies in there, but they're delivered in an oddly diluted way. It's like drinking a flavored fizzy water when I'd prefer a soda, or better yet a rum and coke.
Throughout listening to this I was like man idk if I’m feeling this. But by the time it was over I was really glad I listened to it. The Only Living Boy in New York takes me to the stratosphere.
2.5 - Meh
I like rock and I like folk, separate and together, but Simon and Garfunkel just don't mix them together in a way I usually enjoy.
Horrid
Well written and performed songs. Not really my style, but I appreciate the skill it takes to write timeless songs like this
Ooohhh, I almost fell asleep while listening to this album. 🥲
in 1988 I was tripping on acid and lying on the floor in Kristen's dorm room, and she had a poster of this album cover. I became convinced that the cover was a secret code showing that Simon and Garfunkel were lovers, and to this day I have to remind myself they were not. Or were they? I'm still not sure.
Title track, the boxer, and the only boy in New York are timeless classics. The rest is definitely of a time and it’s just not mine. My father loves it though!
takie se
If you put your thumb on Paul Simon's face, it looks like Art Garfunkel has an epic mustache.
There are a few songs I liked, there are points where random instruments will come in and I liked that. The harmonizing throughout the album is great.
I’m so sorry Mr Simon and Mr Garfunkel, I was in a bad mood yesterday and you did not help
not my style
Ganz schön schnulzig.
Another record by these two taking a spot from one of the many bands with no record on this list. It's a shame.
i understand why people like it, but its not really my style
A couple of very good songs, but on the whole, too soft and slow for me.
2.0/5.0: Disappointing
I like their earlier albums more
meh
I've got mixed feelings about Simon and Garfunkel. Well crafted songs for sure, but sometimes they are bit cheesy and the arrangements are somewhat pompous. This floats on the background and most of the songs sound quite familiar, but probably wont deliberately pick this up for re listening.
I don't do campfire sing-alongs but still I acknowledge the value of this album. Easy listening and I pleased that I listened it.
Easygoing, familiar songs I can mostly sing along to—nothing more. Great for a slightly drunken singalong around the bonfire, but not the kind you’d sit down and listen to from start to finish on an album.
I came into the 1001 challenge with a mentality: Listen to an album, and evaluate why it qualifies as a must-hear piece of art. 13 days in, I'm struggling not to lower my standards and remark on what redeeming qualities the authors of the book may possess by including the album on the list. After listening to this one, my demons won the day. I got a copy of the book to help figure out why this album made the list. Answer - nostalgia, and because it's allegedly a better final release than The Beatles' "Let It Be". My response: I'm not nostalgic for Simon & Garfunkel, nor Sixties ballads, and no, it's not better than Let It Be. Put the title track on "1001 Songs you must hear before you die" if you believe in it that much, and either put a more convincing Simon & Garfunkel album on this list, or just drop this one. 2/5, it wasn't offensive but it didn't win me over.
It's ok. Overrated
Bridge Over Troubled Water is good. It has a sort of melancholic, yet comforting feeling. Other than that, The Boxer was memorable (because it went on for so long), and Song for the Asking somewhat stood out. I think I can remember the Frank Lloyd Wright song because it's just so strange, and I might remember that Baby Driver exists but I don't know how it goes. All in all, Bridge was the only standout song for me.
Genuinely not for me. Title track has a cool grandiose that makes it stand out, unlike the rest of this album that doesn't.
Feels like the same song over and over, unimpressive.
I like El Condor Pasa (If I Could), but the rest isn't really my jam. Not bad, just not my thing. 2/5 stars.
The album started really good and immediately caught my attention but half way through i started to feel a little bit bored but the last track made it up to me. All the melodies of all the song are definitely on point they were all really soooo good and the vocals were wonderful too. I just had an issue with lyrics of some tracks, cause it felt like they were describing a scene more than describing a feeling so i didn't really relate to most of the songs. Overall all it is a solid album but it just misses a little bit of excitement so 6.5/10
Meh. 2/5
Too damn soft
I feel like Im the only person in the world that does not like S&G
too short to be annoying
Not my type of album
Some iconic songs I only recognized from covers I know. However it's too slow for me. Like waaay to slow.
The ravages of time are also gnawing at these two harmonious vocal duos, they no longer rock like they used to. The Boxer stands out positively, otherwise it was nice to listen to the old songs. Bye bye, farewell!
En palabras de Gia Gunn: "I was so bored". Nota: 2.2
It was fine. Just not my thing
Saved El Condor Pasa (If I could). Was an alright listen.
first track was a bit too slow for me afterwards i think it started getting better i mean i don’t hate it but folk isn’t my cup of tea really the second song is my favourite anyway these tracks are still well written and i can imagine this being the pinnacle of music for a die hard folk fan so i can’t give it 1 star of course
it’s alright
Not my tempo!
Irriterande, men tidvis ok
Simon & Garfunkel, a duo that certainly earned its place, albeit not necessarily in my frequently played artists playlist. And Jesus, I expected some more acoustic guitar singer/Songwriter stuff like on the previous S&G albums I got, instead, this album launches straight into its title song that pulls absolutely no stops on the pathos - it's MUCH more sappy than I remembered it. A sort of pseudo-Greek/Latin/Italian/no idea folky thing follows, which is fairly awful. It gets a tiny bit better after that. The good news is: Simon & Garfunkel have 3 albums on this list, which makes this the last one I'll have to listen to.
Somehow I find the music to sound unnecessarily crowded.
Some nice songwriting but not that exciting
I feel like I wasn't in the mood for this album today. They have a lot of great songs in their catalogue, but this just didn't really hit for me at the moment.
Really disappointed I didn’t like this one more. Was previously a big fan of past Paul Simon work & headed into this hoping I’d feel the same but only ended up liking a few.
I didn’t enjoy I rally really wanted to but the vocals were pissing me off maybe picked the wrong day and should try again with it?
Better than the other one that I rated from this but still - Garfunkel's vocal style is so whiny that it's hard to enjoy in long stretches. It's too soft for my tastes though the title track is extremely great. El Condor Pasa is great and Cecilia is a sweet little track but the rest is just forgettable/too soft for me.
Assumed this would piss me off and was pleasantly surprised by the contrary! Light and lovely.
Meh, quite boring. Can be fun in the right mood, but overrated.
quite boring, but with somehow pleasant atmosphere
LIke beatles but worste. The best in my opinion is El Condor Pasa
I bet they walked so other bands could run with their music, but it's like, they became a cliche of music. 2 stars, sorry.
Some great songs but not my vibe
I get it, but it’s all rather folky-twee.
It was good I'd say, the first two songs were great, then cecilla was the best song of the album imo, after that the album started to get boring and uninteresting, the rest of the songs sounded just the same as the ones before. But still I enjoyed a few songs on it, so good record...
Song progression: 1 - I liked the chorus 2 - This one was actually kind of good 3 - A classic I think? I've heard this one before. I didn't love it though 4 - Nice lyrics, actually kind of a bop? 5 - Had its moments, but the instruments in the background just ruin it for me (not my style of music) 6 - Had like, one moment of enjoyment 7 - Intro was sort of good I guess, rest of the song wasn't for me 8 - bad 9 - oh boy he's desperate 10 - I'm so done with this album pleasee 11 - I FINISHED YAY! Final thought: The album is just not my taste! Just the style of music isn't for me. It's about this guy who is very passionate about his lover. At least at the start.
I love Graceland. I hadn't spent a lot of time with this album. As I forced my way thru it I realized, at least for me, I wasn't missing a ton. I just don't really get it.
Me manda a dormir.
Liked Songs Bridge Over Troubled Water
I am familiar with this album. My dad had this when I was growing up. Typical folksy album. Not a bad listen.
Didn’t leave much of an impression
Maybe at another point in my life. But for now, not a lot going for me.
These guys again? come on...
I do not like this.
I can not for the life of me figure out why S&G don’t really do it for me, and never have. I did like this better than I liked Graceland a few weeks back, so maybe Paul Simon is the issue. Didn’t hate this one, it just didn’t stick with me beyond giving it a listen.
First thought: Oh, that album with the funny mustache picture. Final thought: Oh, that album with the funny mustache picture.
A cultural touchstone. You don't have to like it, but you do have to know what it is.
I enjoyed the Paul Simon solo album far more than I did this album. Felt like music for people that genuinely enjoy church music. Frank Lloyd Wright reference was crazy tho
A few good songs on here. They new how to pick the singles.
2 stars..... not great.... 1-2 classic old songs but they dont slap
Did not finish or enjoy
I’m just not a S&G fan.
There is way too much Simon & Garfunkel on this list
Can't remember the last time I actually listened to S&G outside of the samples included in Girltalk's mixes. Cecilia stands out I don't really enjoy this to be honest, but it's fine I guess. 2
Well, I followed Master of Puppets with this album, so that was a vibe change for sure! Took a few rounds of listening to confirm this in not my type of music. But I gave it a solid go! Listen again: no Purchase for my collection: might have inherited it? Favourite Song: Baby Driver (the most upbeat one)
Middle part of this is solid. Either end is meh. Deducting one star due to the presence of Bridge Over Troubled Water.
CSNY but even more boring
I liked Cecilia, and some parts reminded me of a less experimental version of The Beatles.
Relaxing, but a bit wet
Standouts: So long Frank Lloyd Wright
Ei iske. Perustylsää rallattelua. Ainoa mieleenpainuva biisikin on suora ryöstö muualta.
I enjoyed this more than my preconceived opinion thought. More on here I recognised than I’d have guessed. Favourite track is ‘The Only Living Boy in New York’. Pleasant album but unlikely to form any part of my rotation going forward. 2 stars
kinda boring 2.5 if i could
I've HATED Cecilia for years. Always played at parents parties when I was a little kid and utterly detested it. Never bothered to find out who sung it as I didn't want to associate that anger with a name but here we go. Congratulations Simon & Garfunkel. I've previously accused you of being the dullest artists ever but now you go and double down with infuriating. The only time the album wasn't awful was when they were ripping off the Beatles. Some good stuff in those bits.
2.5
Folk rock isn’t my thing. I do like The Boxer but the title track is vastly overrated. I know many people like this but I’m in the minority on this one.
This did not please me.
I'm less of a songs person than most. Love the chamber music flourishes here and there.
Some classic tunes and obviously a massive inspiration to a lot of bands. Having said that, not really my cup of tea. Starts strong and then just gets a bit much for me.
I am not a fan.
Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either!
Did not hit for me, too soft of an album
Don't know, was looking forward to this and left me cold. Even the title track could take or leave.
In fact only a few songs really stick, but overall not a convincing album for me.
Had only heard the odd song from Simon and Garfunkel before and didn't particularly enjoy them. Unfortunately this album didn't change my mind. Highlights were "Baby Driver" and "Why Don't You Write Me".
NORMI LAULU ÄÄNI... joo hyviä biisejä huonoja biisejä the boxer paras
Great songwriting, but the delivery does nothing for me. Soporific, under-seasoned, ineffectual.
I know of Simon and Garfunkle, I know that songs like Bridge over Troubled Water are regarded as legendary - but, I really didn't get much enjoyment from this album. Maybe is a folk thing, but it's just pretty dull.
Background music
Bridge Over Troubled Water ist gut. Rest ist eher schwach.
skill check. i could not vibe with this. undiggable. there are things i like about it but for whatever reason this sucked the life out of me and ended up being a slog to get through.
I really hate folk music but this isn’t as bad as most other folk records
Had a really hard time not skipping Bridge Over Water, worst jam on the album Love El Condor Pasa! Put me more in the headspace for the album, maybe shoulda lead with this. Then Cecilia took me right out of it, I think this is probably more of an overplay problem (looking at you highschool art class). The Only Living boy in New York feels like it shares some common ground with a lot of the fold I listen to these days. Standout Tunes: El Condor Pasa, Living Boy in New York
A couple songs had a relaxing instrumental This was just overall boring Favorite track: Cecilia 4/10
It exists. I now know I don’t care for them at all. Maybe one song I moderately got any pleasure out of.
Man, there is just something with Paul Simon that doesn't agree with me at all. The record is fine, it's pretty, and the lyrics are very well written it's just so... chaste. Just not my thing. Favorite tracks: "Cecilia", "Baby Driver"
Nice vocals harmonies, as expected, and it is pretty easy to hear their influence on so much music that came after them, but the songs themselves aren't really doing much for me.
I feel like maybe if I had lived in this era as a young adult I’d really vibe with this, but alas I didn’t. Not really my cup of tea, but not all of them can be.
Meh
I will be honest, and say I'm still not and have never been impressed with "Bridge over Troubled Water". Ofcourse, on this album you'll find several pop classics, but this album is far from a masterpiece. The title-track itself, and quite a few other songs, are immensely overproduced kitsch in my ears. Violins, choirs and the lot. There's a few plus points to the album as well ofcourse. Songs like 'The Only Living Boy In New York' is beautiful, but it doesn't save the album. It feels it's an album on multiple thoughts and might be known as one of the all-time classics. But not for me.
genuinely thought that Cecilia was a Suggs original. never had a reason to think it was a cover. which brings me to the conclusion that yeah they do write a very good song. the problem is that their versions of the song are a bit shit. get someone else to do it. I'd genuinely rather listen to Suggs do a cod reggae version.
Nice but bland
What to say, … it would take a few more listens, but its much like crosby still nash and young. great talent, i know they are loved, not hitting that bar.
Yes, good, but not my thing.
I don't know. I'm getting kinda tired of this american folk music on this 1001 list.
Some classics but also some really dreary tracks that I'm not here for
Sad... Sad... Oh Cecilia! Meh... Sad.. Sad... This is an album to listen to whilst staring into nothingness, but I'll be honest, there isn't a single track on this album which doesn't have a cover that is 100% better than the version on this album.
Simon & Garfunkel's fifth & final album together released in 1970 and was their best and most effortless. This folk rock album contains some of their greatest hits and is certified 8 times platinum. This album also won 'Album of the Year' at the Grammy's. You can almost hear their impending break up in the musical production of the album, but at least they went out with a bang. Also, not my type of music at all, but still good.
What did I just listen to? I don't get it.
I guess there's some fun stuff on here. Clearly good, but it's not for me. Some of this is unlistenable. 2 stars for TOLBINY and Baby Driver
Jack says it's quite gay Very hard to get through this one
Good but snoozer
I would, If I only could, I surely would", provo tipo odio. So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright, è l'unica che mi ha colpito.
I have an abiding dislike for Paul Simon and this didn't do much to change that, but it was still worth a listen. Seems like they tried to break the mold a bit by sampling some other genres and adding some different instrumentation, but still to much fetishization of the voices at the expense of other elements.
Boring
I understand how this is a good album, but I struggled to enjoy it. Prefer Simon on his own.
Obviously talented but boring for me
Like they tried to write a classic album by focus group. Aside from "Only living boy in New York" it has no conviction, and left me cold.
Igual nememen.
Not a huge fan of this one, very hit or miss tracks.
I feel like this is supposed to deserve an automatic 5-star. But I didn’t like it. It was sad, boring, and lame. Sorry.
2.5
Dull. If you put your thumb over Paul Simon's face, it makes Art Garfunkel look like he has massive moustache
Not a big fan of them. I’ve always thought Garfunkel was the most talented though.
+ voor de moeite. Beetje saai
Un coñazo
NOpe, nothing interesting here...
Snooze fest
Bastante insoportable la verdad
lwk ass
Solo me gusto la primera canción
Didnt really like it
Meh
ew gross
No es mi gusto
That didn't age well ...
Not my style
Lo siento pero no puedo con ellos... :(
I guess this one is ok. I listened and many of the songs felt familiar. Still giving it one.
el condor pasa and cecilia are good other than that meh
Not my cup of coffee
Unlistenable for me! Twee!
Gross
I am bored out of my mind.
Outside of Cecilia, this album is is not good. At least they kept it short. Simon is not good. Garfunkel is not good. Put them together and you get this album. .5 for Cecilia 1.5
Some recognisable classics but it's quite dull
No interest at all.
Not my Type of music, but at the end got kinda accustomed , still nothing I would listen to
1. bridge - 1.5 2. condor - 1 3. cecilia - 2 4. keep - 1 5. long - 1.5 6. bozer - 2 7. baby - 1 8. living - 1 9. me - 1 10. love - 0 11. zong - 1.5
Pull up the drawbridge. Let them drown.
Too slow. Too somber. 1/5
Not a fan.
its not my style. i dont hate it but I definitely don't want to listen to it ever again. i kinda like the track So long, Frank Llyod Write. his voice is nice and I like the music in the background. I'm so glad I'm done listening to this
Not really my thing.
Awful. Just awful. Basically an auditory war crime. I want to fight them both and their stupid dorky faces. Worst thing I've ever heard. Also what the hell is with the album cover? Why is Paul blocking half of Art's face? What kind of art direction is this?
3/5, ladilloso
Pony
Me duermo
I just don't care.
Ugh, this album was on repeat when I was a kid. My parents played it almost constantly (it definitely felt that way). For whatever reason I can’t stand listening to this particular album. I like some of Paul Simon’s solo stuff - just can’t abide the S&G material.
What is this the fuckin Partridge Family? Boomers were weird
Meh not a Simon and garfunkle guy
Yeahhhhhhhhh just very very not my type of thing!! Too slow I don't like the vibes I can just never picture myself listening to this again in any sort of scenario. Some of the songs are "ok" like catchy but again just not my typa sound.
it really sucks. The Boxer is tolerable, the rest is just unlistenable 60s flower child ukulele bullshit.
Maybe I’m broken but this felt like an ice pick in my skull
1st track: I hate it. 2nd: omg make it stop. 3rd: OK this is a jam. Rest of album: back to being awful. Sorry, the 1 track doesn't save you from 1 star.
Don't care for them
This one was hard to listen to. Didn’t jive with the style. I can understand how they've influenced other artists, but was just too slow and unmoving for me.
Just not really my kind
No really good
I really struggled to get through this one. I found it incredibly boring. It almost reminded me of being trapped in a school Carol service or something. It felt like it would never end.
I looked in the index of this book and saw that there are no Warren Zevon albums. This three songs with filler is, but no Zevon. Oh well.
BORINNGG
Eh not in the mood
I can see why this is popular and I can appreciate this for what it was at the time, but this is so goddamn sleepy. I have zero interest in listening again. 1/5
I did not need this today, awful.
This is v boring
No me gustó mucho
boring!
Blah....
I’m going to get the kids a new 🆕 car 🚗 for them so that I have them on their own so that we have the same thing as my parents house 🏠 for a few months so they won’t get a lot to go on their cars 🚗 but I’m just wondering 💭 how many miles a day is a good 👍 thanks 😊 have you had any of these drugs

Lots of songs I knew.
