Popular Reviews

I Am a Bird Now by Antony and the Johnsons

This was depressing in many ways. The one good thing is I'll never have to listen to it again. I couldn't stand the voice. 1.5/5

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan

Actually not terrible for a Bob Dylan album. He still can't sing for the life of him, but it was bearable and there wasn't too much harmonica. 3/5

I'm not sure if it was a good thing this was as influential as it is claimed to be. There's a lot of random talking and garbage skits on here that I just skipped. Otherwise, this seemed like pretty generic rap to me, but I also don't care for rap so it all sounds the same to me. 1/5

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson

It was fine. Pretty repetitive, but ok to listen to. 2.5/5

Sea Change by Beck

I listened to 3 songs on this and it was incredibly boring. I couldn't stand it. On an note that doesn't affect my thoughts on the album, I thought for a second the album cover had Micheal Cera on it. Nope, he and Beck just look very similar. 1/5

My Generation by The Who
May 16 2023

I liked a few of the songs. Like most of the stuff I've heard from The Who, their albums have some great songs and some easily skippable stuff.

Siembra by Willie Colón & Rubén Blades
May 17 2023

Pretty easy listening. I like the brass. Decent album for a genre I don't really listen to. Likely won't return for more.

May 18 2023

I don't like rap and this album was a grind to get through and I couldn't even finish it. That being said, Stan and The Real Slim Shady were the highlights of the album to me. All in all, I'll be happy to never listen to this again.

May 19 2023

I don't like rap, but at least this has some actual musical elements to it and not just a generic backing track. There's actually some decent stuff on here. Favorite tracks were All Of The Lights (Interlude) and Runaway. Parts of Monster, Gorgeous, and Blame Game were ok too.

Siamese Dream by The Smashing Pumpkins
May 22 2023

So many great songs on this album. Thoroughly enjoy this album all the way through time and time again. Definitely a classic.

Illmatic by Nas
May 23 2023

As far as rap goes, this is decent and I can see what people like about it. It's still not my thing and I did not enjoy it.

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
May 25 2023

Never really cared for The Doors, but I enjoyed this to a reasonable degree.

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
May 26 2023

One star for country. Another for not being the trashy country that exists today. I didn't really enjoy this.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
May 29 2023

There's some decent stuff on this album, but it just drones on and on. I know it's electronic music, but it was incredibly repetitive. I had to stop before finishing the album.

The Band by The Band
May 31 2023

Its The Band! OK album. Old country rock style.

Orbital 2 by Orbital
Jun 01 2023

Pretty sure this album was the inspiration for the jellyfish jam from SpongeBob--that's not meant to be a compliment either. I couldn't finish a single song. Started skipping songs after a few seconds after Lush 3-2 and stopped entirely after Remind. Not worth the headache today

Reign In Blood by Slayer
Jun 02 2023

Old school thrash metal. Reminds me a lot of pre-black album Metallica, which makes sense considering they're both members of the Big 4. Enjoyed it for the most part.

1989 by Taylor Swift
Jun 05 2023

Poppy. Not my favorite type of music but overall, fairly enjoyable.

Nevermind by Nirvana
Jun 06 2023

A lot of good songs on here. I've always liked this album

Exit Planet Dust by The Chemical Brothers
Jun 07 2023

I didn't really enjoy this. As far as electronic music goes, this wasn't horrible as it wasn't droning on and on for an hour. A lot of it sounded the same to me.

Home Is Where The Music Is by Hugh Masekela
Jun 08 2023

I liked more of the backing music than the main trumpet parts; those were kind of annoying at times. Probably why I don't care for jazz that much. Not bad, just not really my thing I guess.

Jun 12 2023

I really enjoyed this. I think I might enjoy the studio versions of songs better, but he's got a great voice and good songs. I'll have to listen to more

Parsley, Sage, Rosemary And Thyme by Simon & Garfunkel
Jun 13 2023

This was ok, nothing special in my mind. I guess the one thing this had going for it was that it was short.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Jun 14 2023

Classic album. I just wish I liked Brian Johnson's singing more.

Greetings From L.A. by Tim Buckley
Jun 15 2023

Interesting, but not really something I liked. Not bad, it just didn't click with me.

Kenza by Khaled
Jun 16 2023

Only one song from this album was available on Spotify. I listened to it and a few of the top 5 that were available and it was definitely not my thing

Either Or by Elliott Smith
Jun 19 2023

I quite enjoyed this one. Gave it a few playthroughs and will have to listen to more of his stuff.

Jun 20 2023

I want to give this a slightly higher rating for the lyrics, but I just can't because of the delivery. Most of the songs have the same guitar strumming pattern and chords, his voice is rough at best, and that harmonica is quite often ear piercing.

Stankonia by OutKast
Jun 21 2023

Not a fan of this.

Nothing's Shocking by Jane's Addiction
Jun 22 2023

It was ok. Not likely to return to it, but want bad.

Autobahn by Kraftwerk
Jun 23 2023

None of it was inherently bad; some of it was weird, but most of it felt like an into to some other song where something actually happens. Autobahn was the highlight and that's not saying much

Surfer Rosa by Pixies
Jun 26 2023

Decent album. Not a ton to say about it

It's Blitz! by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Jun 27 2023

A rather enjoyable album

Junkyard by The Birthday Party
Jun 28 2023

This belongs in a junkyard. Sounded like it was recorded in someone's unfinished basement by guys that just got instruments for the first time. Maybe this is for somebody, but definitely not me

Risque by CHIC
Jun 30 2023

Upbeat and enjoyable album

Franz Ferdinand by Franz Ferdinand
Jul 04 2023

Decent album. I remember Take Me Out playing a lot when it came out; I guess it was good to finally listen to the rest of the album.

Traffic by Traffic
Jul 05 2023

Not bad, just didn't really feel this one. Has that 1960's sound of fuzzy mastering that is annoying to me.

Jul 06 2023

Mostly good. I really liked some of these songs, but a few missed the mark for me.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Jul 07 2023

Punky sound that wasn't too raw/rough. I could go for more like this

Blue by Joni Mitchell
Jul 10 2023

Had to find this outside of Spotify. Ok album; music was decent and vocals were fine, but nothing really jumped out at me.

Music From Big Pink by The Band
Jul 11 2023

It's The Band again. Mostly ok album. I liked this better than their second album, but it's still not really my thing

Miriam Makeba by Miriam Makeba
Jul 12 2023

Not sure what half the songs were saying, but they weren't bad.

Run-D.M.C. by Run-D.M.C.
Jul 13 2023

It started out good, but then for very repetitive. There were a few songs where the backing track was essentially the same, the lyrics were similar, and the flow/rhyming were the same.

Meat Puppets II by Meat Puppets
Jul 14 2023

Some of the songs are decent, but I wouldn't go so far to say they're good. I guess one good thing is I now have heard where Nirvana covered Lake of Fire from. Honestly, this sounds like a lot of the inspiration for Nirvana.

Music in Exile by Songhoy Blues
Jul 17 2023

I had no idea what they were saying, but I dig this.

Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane
Jul 18 2023

Not a lot to say. There's some good songs on here and it was an overall good album

There's A Riot Goin' On by Sly & The Family Stone
Jul 19 2023

Funky. Not bad, I just kept waiting for this one to end

Real Life by Magazine
Jul 20 2023

Wasn't really feeling this one.

The Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden
Jul 24 2023

Have loved this album for years. The only songs that have never really got with me were Gangland and Total Eclipse. I could listen to this on repeat for hours and hearing this again sent me into another spin through their discography.

Disraeli Gears by Cream
Jul 25 2023

Imagine being in high school and a friend suits down next to you and without any context asks "do you like Cream?" Only to find out that this is what he was talking about. My answer is "it's ok." Clapton is a great guitarist, but as a whole, this misses the mark. It's definitely not bad, just not something I'd return to. 3/5

The Visitors by ABBA
Jul 26 2023

Decent album, though I did keep finding myself waiting for it to be over so I could listen to something better. 3/5

The Only Ones by The Only Ones
Jul 27 2023

I couldn't stand this guy's singing. The only redeeming song was Another Girl, Another Planet. I gave every song a shot, but ended up skipping to the next one quickly. 1.5/5

Private Dancer by Tina Turner
Jul 28 2023

Nothing special in my mind, just old pop music. 2/5

The College Dropout by Kanye West
Jul 31 2023

This was rough. Basically Kanye babbling about with some beat tracks playing in the background for over an hour. Pretty stupid. 1/5

Eliminator by ZZ Top
Aug 01 2023

Some classic songs on here, but also a few stinkers. Honestly not a ton of variety, but still overall good. 4/5

Hot Rats by Frank Zappa
Aug 02 2023

Definitely an interesting one. I could do with less squawking sax throughout the album, but there were some good elements. 3/5

Everything Must Go by Manic Street Preachers
Aug 03 2023

This was ok, pretty forgettable though. Nothing really stood out to me. 2/5

The Gilded Palace Of Sin by The Flying Burrito Brothers
Aug 04 2023

Kinda pre-country rock and a bit of an Eagles vibe. Pretty slow overall and not really my thing. They do get an extra star for their name. 2/5

Aug 07 2023

I know this is supposed to be one of the best rock albums, but Pink Floyd just never really did it for me. There's good elements to it, but I'm just not a big fan. 3.5/5

Hotel California by Eagles
Aug 08 2023

I don't think I had ever listened to this whole album before, it's pretty good. I don't think I'd say the was Abad song on here; some were much better than others, but over all quite enjoyable. 4/5

Rattlesnakes by Lloyd Cole And The Commotions
Aug 09 2023

Some of the musicianship was good, but the singing was bad. There were moments where his voice sounded fine, but then anything out of his normal talky-singy voice was out of tune and just rough. Overall, this was very boring and I couldn't be happier it's over. 2/5

Queen II by Queen
Aug 10 2023

I don't think I've ever heard any of these songs before. This album did not disappoint either. Definitely not their most popular work, but that's OK because some of their most popular is some of their most overrated. I dig the proggy, almost poppy art rock vibe of this. I'll probably end up coming back to this. 4/5

Rattus Norvegicus by The Stranglers
Aug 11 2023

I'm finding I really don't like whatever punk was in Britain in the late 70's-early 80's. Subpar singing, mediocre guitar, and honestly not much going for this. Had so skip through some songs because they just didn't go anywhere. I don't plan on ever listening to this again. 1.5/5

Hounds Of Love by Kate Bush
Aug 14 2023

There were some good songs on here. 2.5/5

Led Zeppelin III by Led Zeppelin
Aug 15 2023

Great album, although sometimes the vocals were a little rough in my mind. Still good. 4/5

Sound Affects by The Jam
Aug 16 2023

The Jam is not my jam, but still pretty good. There was a lot I enjoyed on this and yet it still didn't quite click with me. 4/5?

A Girl Called Dusty by Dusty Springfield
Aug 17 2023

Not really a fan of this. It's not that she's a bad singer, it just doesn't work for me. I struggled to finish this. 1.5/5

Bluesbreakers by John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers
Aug 18 2023

This was decent. Not much more to say. 3/5

3 Feet High and Rising by De La Soul
Aug 21 2023

In terms of hip hop/rap, this wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. I don't get why rap and hip hop albums feel it's necessary to have a "sounds of sex" song all the time. I struggled to finish this. 1/5

Horses by Patti Smith
Aug 22 2023

I don't think she knows she can't sing 😬 I'm not sure how this album wasn't the start and end of her career, it was that bad. She had this annoying thing she did with her voice between phrases that just got under my skin, very prominent in "Redondo Beach." Also, the end of "Free Money" made me hit the skip button faster than anything else I've listened to on this list. Then there was annoying repeating of the word "horses" at one point where I about said F this. I wish I could give this 0/5.

Aug 23 2023

Can't say I was a fan of this. The genre name hit the nail on the head here with this definitely being noise. Some decent moments, but overall pretty trashy sounding and had to skip parts of songs due to them being more annoying than tolerable. Definitely won't be listening to any more of this if I can help it. 1/5

Beauty And The Beat by The Go-Go's
Aug 24 2023

This was a kind of bubbly pop rock album that was enjoyable, but rather short. I looked it over all. 3.5/5

Remedy by Basement Jaxx
Aug 25 2023

I listened to three or four songs and knew this wasn't getting any better and stopped. This was very annoying. 0.5/5

Fever To Tell by Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Aug 28 2023

Maps was the only decent song on this album. It wasn't as bad as some of the albums on this list, but definitely not great. 2/5

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Aug 29 2023

Considering this is a Nick Cave creation (the guy who is behind The Birthday Party and their trash heap of an album Junkyard), there were some actually decent songs on this. None of it was good enough to make me a fan of him or their work. I'm hesitant to give this a 2 based on his other work, but this might actually deserve that. 2/5

La Revancha Del Tango by Gotan Project
Aug 30 2023

Chill latin music which threw me off as the description said this was a French group. It was ok, but not something I'll likely return to. 2.5/5

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Aug 31 2023

I never got the hype around this band and I still don't. I avoided it when I was younger because "Clint Eastwood" was overplayed and didn't do anything for me and now that I've listened to the whole thing, I feel like that was still the right decision. It's pretty much Blur with some rap sprinkled throughout and just boring. Not my thing and I don't get what grabs people. 2/5

Synchronicity by The Police
Sep 01 2023

I liked pretty much the entire album with the exception of "Mother," that was just rough. 4/5

Hunky Dory by David Bowie
Sep 04 2023

I've only hear some of Bowie's hits before, but this album has definitely made me want to hear more. There were a few songs that were sub-par, but over all this was great. I guess there's a reason he's held is such high regard. 4.5/5

Funeral by Arcade Fire
Sep 05 2023

Ok album. I don't know if it was a reverb or chorus effect on the vocals, but it was distracting and made everything seem muffled a bit. 3/5

The Stooges by The Stooges
Sep 06 2023

I don't think I cared for this as much as the last Stooges album I heard on this list. It wasn't all bad, but "We Will Fall" was rough and I ended up skipping half of it. 2.5/5

American Gothic by David Ackles
Sep 07 2023

This album is described as having "never found its audience." Well, it still hasn't because it's not me. The guy has a good voice, but I just didn't enjoy this. 1.5/5

Off The Wall by Michael Jackson
Sep 08 2023

It was fine. Pretty repetitive, but ok to listen to. 2.5/5

In Utero by Nirvana
Sep 11 2023

This album was better than I remember. I played it repeatedly throughout the weekend and feel like it is a much more cohesive record than Nevermind was. This gets a rare 5/5 from me

Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park
Sep 12 2023

This brings back some memories and it's better than I remember. Such a good debut album. 5/5

Homework by Daft Punk
Sep 13 2023

Old school daft punk. Not the best, but definitely some bangers on here. Still greatly prefer the Alive live album with some of these songs mashed up with others, but still an over all good--though somewhat repetitive--album. 4/5

Tapestry by Carole King
Sep 14 2023

This was OK. Most of the time these "singer-songwriter" types can't really sing, but she actually can. It's easy listening, just a bit boring. Not really my thing, but good enough to earn a 3/5.

Colour By Numbers by Culture Club
Sep 15 2023

It started off decently, but "Black Money" made me realize how little I could really understand the vocals. The singing style and the mix made them blend in with the rest of the music and everything was just dull. From them on, it was a struggle to find the will to finish the album. 1/5

Bookends by Simon & Garfunkel
Sep 18 2023

It's Simon & Garfunkel... Pretty ok. Mrs. Robinson was really the only standout song and the rest were meh at best. 2/5

Live And Dangerous by Thin Lizzy
Sep 19 2023

This was pretty good. Usually live albums are hit or miss, but this was one of the good ones. Good performance and a good collection of songs. I'm not exactly itching for more, but I enjoyed this. 4/5

Imperial Bedroom by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Sep 20 2023

I wasn't a big fan of this one. It wasn't bad, but the vocals got to me a few times and I just wanted to shut it off. The music itself just wasn't really my thing either. 2.5/5

On The Beach by Neil Young
Sep 21 2023

This wasn't bad. Reminded me of Joe Walsh singing. Nothing really stand out to me. 2.5/5

Sep 22 2023

I quite enjoyed this. I had never heard to The Zutons, but they surprised me. A few weaker tracks in the middle, but over all enjoyable. 3.5/5

Melodrama by Lorde
Sep 25 2023

This was ok, not outstanding, but decent. She's got a fairly good voice and the songs we decent, it just didn't really click with me. I'll still give it a 3/5

Born In The U.S.A. by Bruce Springsteen
Sep 26 2023

This was a great album. I remember listening to this a lot as a kid. 4.5/5

Sep 27 2023

This was not good. The songs were repetitive musically and the vocals were more of a rant than singing. Futures and Pasts was really the only song that had something interesting going on. 1.5/5

Sep 28 2023

This album has so many bangers on it.; Knights of Cydonia, Map of the Problematique, Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole... actually, pretty much all of them. Great album! 5/5 for me

Elvis Presley by Elvis Presley
Sep 29 2023

Short but good. I recognized a few of these and enjoyed most of the rest. I guess there was a reason Elvis was such a bit back in the day. 4/5

Hot Fuss by The Killers
Oct 02 2023

Some of these songs are in a regular playlist of mine. It was decent, but the known hits were definitely the best parts of it. 3.5/5

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Oct 03 2023

Rap/hip hop is not my thing. This started out bearable, but I got really sick of it. Of course it had to have the usual rap album sounds of sex song... 1/5

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Oct 04 2023

This was definitely not my thing, but decent over all. 2/5

The Colour Of Spring by Talk Talk
Oct 05 2023

It’s not like this album was bad, it was just boring. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. The atmosphere of it was good and it reminded me a bit of Tears for Fears. 2.5/5

Lady In Satin by Billie Holiday
Oct 06 2023

This was decent. In my mind, jazz doesn't have singing, but this may have changed my mind. Not a stellar album, but decent enough to give it 3/5

Electric Ladyland by Jimi Hendrix
Oct 09 2023

Pretty interesting album all the way through. I enjoyed this quite a bit. 4/5

Parallel Lines by Blondie
Oct 10 2023

I liked this album. The roughness of the vocals added to the vibe in a way that just sat right with me. I'll probably have to come back to this at some point. 4/5

Disintegration by The Cure
Oct 11 2023

I like this album more than I thought I would. While it’s a pretty sad sounding album, there’s a lot of pretty musical moments. The vocals weren’t bad, but often the weaker parts of the album for me. I’ll likely return to this. 4/5

Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon & Garfunkel
Oct 12 2023

This was better than the other Simon and Garfunkel albums I've listened to on this list. There were several songs I recognized and they were actually decent. Still not really my thing. 3/5

Dirt by Alice In Chains
Oct 13 2023

I've never really listened to Alice in Chains, but I dig this album. Will definitely have to listen to more. 4.5/5

Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs by Derek & The Dominos
Oct 16 2023

Layla was really the only standout song--probably why it was in the title of the album. The rest of the album wasn't necessarily bad, it just didn't catch my attention. 3/5

Oct 17 2023

I wouldn't say any of this was necessarily bad, just really repetitive. The lyrics were garbage, but that's pretty much expected for this kind of music. My main issue with this was that every single song could've been at most 3 minutes. The repetitiveness would start to get annoying around that time and then there'd be a false ending where I felt a real ending would've been natural, only to then go on for 2-4 more minutes with no payoff. Easily could've been a 3/5 from me if it was just shorter. 2/5

Court And Spark by Joni Mitchell
Oct 18 2023

Nothing super exciting here. 2/5

The Doors by The Doors
Oct 19 2023

There's some decent songs on this album, but none that get me to get The Doors. I know they were influential, but they're not great in my opinion. 3/5

London Calling by The Clash
Oct 20 2023

For a punk album, this was pretty good. Usually they're pretty rough, but this was mostly enjoyable. I could listen to more. 3.5/5

good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar
Oct 23 2023

This wasn't good, but it was marginally better than the other rap albums on this list. I appreciated that it didn't have and moans and sex sounds. Still never want to hear this again. 1/5

Blunderbuss by Jack White
Oct 25 2023

Not terrible, just not terribly exciting. I don't think I'm a fan of the muffled effects of everything, it makes everything sound the same. 2/5

Pearl by Janis Joplin
Oct 26 2023

This was ok. Nothing special to me, but reasonably enjoyable. 2.5/5

This Year's Model by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Oct 27 2023

I actually enjoyed this one. I really wasn't expecting much after the last album from this band, but this was decent. We'll see if I give it another spin. 3.5/5

Oct 30 2023

I'm a fan of prog, but never really dived into older progressive rock beyond rush. This was pretty interesting overall. I might have to give it another try just because I know progressive stuff tends to need a few listens to click. On first go though, I'll have to give this a 3.5/5

In It For The Money by Supergrass
Oct 31 2023

This started out well but got weird and slightly annoying. The first half was definitely better. 2.5/5

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Nov 01 2023

I quite liked this. More industrial than I typically enjoy, but still a pretty good album. 4/5

Sea Change by Beck
Nov 02 2023

I listened to 3 songs on this and it was incredibly boring. I couldn't stand it. On an note that doesn't affect my thoughts on the album, I thought for a second the album cover had Micheal Cera on it. Nope, he and Beck just look very similar. 1/5

Nov 03 2023

This was a fun album and I liked the weirdness to some of the songs. 4/5

American Idiot by Green Day
Nov 06 2023

I liked Green Day back in the day, but never checked this album out beyond a few of the hits. I enjoyed this and listened to it several times. 4.5/5

Toys In The Attic by Aerosmith
Nov 07 2023

I was never really a fan of Aerosmith and this album didn't really change that. That being said, it wasn't bad and I recognized a few of their hits off of it. 3/5

Nov 08 2023

I quite enjoyed this one. Yes are classic prog rock and I'm happy to see them on this list. 4/5

Goodbye And Hello by Tim Buckley
Nov 09 2023

Definitely a different album. Not really my thing, but not necessarily bad. 2.5/5

The Clash by The Clash
Nov 10 2023

This was ok. Better than a lot of the older punk so far on this list, but not something I'm likely to return to. 2/5

Rust Never Sleeps by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Nov 13 2023

Can't listen to this due it not being available on Spotify and YouTube's ad blocker blocking still blocks my browser when I disable my ad blocker.

Live! by Fela Kuti
Nov 14 2023

This was interesting to say the least. Not likely to return as it kind of drones on at times and overall isn't really my thing, but definitely not a bad album. 3/5.

Hysteria by Def Leppard
Nov 15 2023

Classic rock album with some bangers on it and some misses. Overall enjoyable. 4/5

Blackstar by David Bowie
Nov 16 2023

Slower than what I normally like. The singing was good, but sometimes felt like it didn't fit the music. Not as good as the last Bowie album that I encountered ok on this list. 2/5

Stand! by Sly & The Family Stone
Nov 17 2023

Funky and fun for the most part. 3/5

Stardust by Willie Nelson
Nov 20 2023

This was ok; pretty slow, not really what I would have thought of when I saw Willie Nelson, but I guess this was just a bunch of covers by him anyhow. Not likely to return to this. 2/5

Nov 21 2023

More rock than I expected from Elton John and I liked a lot of it. Very upbeat and great piano work. 4/5

Calenture by The Triffids
Nov 22 2023

Pretty boring album. They know how to make 10 minutes sound like an hour. 1.5/5

Solid Air by John Martyn
Nov 23 2023

There’s some interesting stuff on this album, but the singing is very mumbly and that’s pretty annoying. Over all pretty slow and boring too. 2/5

Lazer Guided Melodies by Spiritualized
Nov 24 2023

Pretty chill. I imagine this would be pretty mesmerizing when high lol. I enjoyed this quite a bit. 3.5/5

Birth Of The Cool by Miles Davis
Nov 27 2023

Not bad. Smoother jazz which was pleasant to listen to. 3/5

Cross by Justice
Nov 28 2023

Pretty solid. Sounds like they want to be Daft Punk but not quite as good. Still pretty good over all. 3/5

Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow
Nov 29 2023

I really expected to not like this when I saw it based on the title and artist alone even though I had never heard of it. While I wasn't completely off, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected it to be. As more of an instrumental hip hop album, I was surprised to find it more chill and interesting. It wasn't really my thing and I don't see myself returning to it, but I got through the entire thing without hating it or regretting trying. 2/5

Underwater Moonlight by The Soft Boys
Nov 30 2023

This wasn't great, but not terrible either. I wasn't a big fan. 2/5

Brown Sugar by D'Angelo
Dec 01 2023

I was not impressed by this at all. Every song had essentially the same beat and pretty much the same story of mumbly singing without much tone change. Nothing exciting or worth returning to. 1/5

Chirping Crickets by Buddy Holly & The Crickets
Dec 04 2023

I dig this. Cool old school rock. Overall fun record, though very short. That'll be the Day and Rock Me My Baby were probably my favorite. 4/5

Dec 05 2023

The music itself wasn't bad, I just wasn't necessarily a fan of the delivery. It sounded too often like he was constipated and pushing too hard. Overall an ok album. 2.5/5

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 06 2023

This wasn't bad, but reggae is not really my thing apparently. 2/5

First Band On The Moon by The Cardigans
Dec 07 2023

The music itself wasn't terrible, but the singing really turned me off; the singer's voice just grated at my ears. I managed to get through it all and there were some decent tracks, but I doubt I'll return to any of this. 2/5

Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye
Dec 08 2023

I honestly don't remember much from this so it obviously wasn't mind blowing to my. I do remember it not really being my thing and wishing it would end. 1.5/5

Grace by Jeff Buckley
Dec 11 2023

I was originally not looking forward to listening to this, but it surprised me a bit. There's some good stuff here, but also a lot that just didn't sit well with me. His normal singing wasn't great in my opinion, but the parts where he kind of let's loose and it's more raw are some of the better moments. 2.5/5

Channel Orange by Frank Ocean
Dec 12 2023

Definitely not a fan of this style of music; just boring to me and way too much autotune. 1/5

Sex Packets by Digital Underground
Dec 13 2023

I did not like this at all. I can see how it would've been influential to hip hop in the early 90's, but I couldn't finish it. Lots of the same beat and talking about themselves and sex. I thought it was terrible. 0.5/5

Vento De Maio by Elis Regina
Dec 14 2023

The music islet was rather good, but I didn't really care for the singing--and not because I couldn't understand it, she just wasn't a great singer. Three fact it was in Portuguese didn't really help. Probably would've been another rank higher if it was instrumental. 2.5/5

Abbey Road by Beatles
Dec 18 2023

This was a good album with several fantastic songs. This was one of my favorites when I first got into the Beatles and it still holds up. You could tell the differing styles being pushed from the different bandmates as they got closer to their breakup, so it wasn't really cohesive, but it was still very good. 4/5

Songs Of Leonard Cohen by Leonard Cohen
Dec 19 2023

I waited for 40-some minutes waiting for some variation in the music and his singing and all I found was someone playing with a wind-up toy at one point. The guy's expression on the cover sums up how I felt listening to this album. 1/5

Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by The Smashing Pumpkins
Dec 20 2023

I really wanted to like this album more than I did. There's some great songs on here--maybe some of The Smashing Pumpkins best--but two hours of his voice gets to be a bit rough. I'd rather cherry pick the songs on here than listen to the whole thing. 3.5/5

Maxinquaye by Tricky
Dec 21 2023

Better and more interesting than most rap, but still not great. I just kept waiting for it to be over. 2/5

Master Of Puppets by Metallica
Dec 25 2023

Definitely the best of the big 4 in my opinion. One of the best Metallica albums for me, though it's not as thrashy as I remember. Still a banger all the way through. Mixing could've been better--it sounds hollow at times and the vocals can get lost in the mix depending on the sound setup. 4.5/5

The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe
Dec 27 2023

She's a good singer, but the style is not one I cared for. At a few points, I wasn't sure I'd be able to get through the album. 2/5

Roots by Sepultura
Dec 28 2023

Groovy, heavy, and I liked the aboriginal elements. A little slow at times, but overall pretty good. Never really listened to sepultura, but I might have to check out more. 4/5

Soul Mining by The The
Dec 29 2023

Started out a bit rough. Not really I to new wave, but this got better. Not something I'll likely return to, but good enough for a 3/5

C'est Chic by CHIC
Jan 01 2024

Disco isn't really my thing, but this was ok I guess. I never really care when artists use their name in songs, it just sounds tacky to me and they did this from the start. Pretty meh overall. 2/5

Joan Armatrading by Joan Armatrading
Jan 02 2024

Pretty chill and reasonably entertaining. 3/5

Ocean Rain by Echo And The Bunnymen
Jan 03 2024

I quite enjoyed this one. 4/5

So Much For The City by The Thrills
Jan 04 2024

I liked most of this. Kind of chill indie vibes. Not sure I'll return to it, but we'll see. 3/5

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jan 05 2024

It's like they pulled the fun out of the Beach Boys. There were definitely some creative parts, but that didn't make them good. I don't see myself returning to this. 2/5

Violent Femmes by Violent Femmes
Jan 08 2024

There's some good songs on here, but also several that I just wanted to skip. 3/5

Sunday At The Village Vanguard by Bill Evans Trio
Jan 09 2024

The was a lot to like here--and I'm not really a jazz guy. My biggest gripe about this was that something sounded like a broken or loose linkage in my car when this was playing. Whenever I paused the music, it would stop so it was definitely something in the recording. I took me forever to realize this and it drove me nuts on my way to work. Besides that, great jazz album. 4/5

Bubble And Scrape by Sebadoh
Jan 10 2024

I actually liked this. Kind of an indie punk rock feel to it which worked pretty well for me. 4/5

Hearts And Bones by Paul Simon
Jan 11 2024

Definitely not on part with his work in Simon & Garfunkel. This was not for me in the slightest. Almost shut it off by the ridiculousness of Cars are Cars. Yes Paul, cars ARE cars, now please stop singing! 1/5

Midnight Ride by Paul Revere & The Raiders
Jan 12 2024

This wasn’t bad. Not really sure what else to say, it didn’t really leave a strong impression. 3/5

Aladdin Sane by David Bowie
Jan 15 2024

Second best Bowie album I've heard on this list. Pretty good overall, the title song was the worst for me though. 3.5/5

The Score by Fugees
Jan 16 2024

Was not a fan of this. There were some decent songs for the genre, but nothing I would ever want to listen to again. 1/5

This was something... not good. The first half was complete saxophone nonsense, but starting with Ecars, it became something somewhat listenable. It still wasn't great, but still beats out some things on this list. A hard 1 for the first half, but the second half is redeeming enough to get this to a low 2/5

My Aim Is True by Elvis Costello
Jan 18 2024

Better than the last Elvis Costello album on this list. There were some enjoyable tracks on here; enough in fact to give this a 3/5

3 + 3 by The Isley Brothers
Jan 19 2024

I really liked this. He's got a good voice and the instrumentals are fantastic in my opinion. This was a very unexpected 5/5

Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd
Jan 22 2024

Pink Floyd was never a band I could get into, however this album was the exception. Fantastic cover to cover. 5/5

Elephant by The White Stripes
Jan 23 2024

There's a few good songs here, but some pretty weird stuff too. Maybe slightly above average for me? 3/5

Jan 24 2024

This had an older country feel to it and since I am not really a fan of country, this really wasn't my thing. It wasn't necessarily bad though and there were a few decent songs, I just couldn't get into it. 2/5

Exile On Main Street by The Rolling Stones
Jan 25 2024

Pretty solid and consistent Rolling Stones album. Nothing blew me away, but it was good overall. 4/5

Trout Mask Replica by Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band
Jan 26 2024

This wasn't necessarily bad, but it was pretty weird. Not something I'll likely return to. 2.5/5

Teen Dream by Beach House
Jan 29 2024

This was pretty boring. Parts weren't bad, but I just couldn't get into it. 2/5

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jan 30 2024

The best thing on here was the first track, everything else was either boring or just not my thing. The first track was at least kind of groovy. 1.5/5

Dog Man Star by Suede
Jan 31 2024

The singer tried way too hard to mimic Bowie with little success--it actually made it hard to listen to. I didn't finish this. I got away from it and saw little reason to come back to finish it. 1.5/5

Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath
Feb 01 2024

Not too bad, a little doom and slow at times, but a decent record. Definitely influential. 3/5

Rip It Up by Orange Juice
Feb 02 2024

Not really a fan of this one. 1.5/5

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Feb 05 2024

Actually not terrible for a Bob Dylan album. He still can't sing for the life of him, but it was bearable and there wasn't too much harmonica. 3/5

Catch A Fire by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Feb 06 2024

Decent album, pretty chill. Still not the biggest reggae fan though. 2.5/5

After The Gold Rush by Neil Young
Feb 07 2024

This was actually pretty good and quite enjoyable. I'd revisit this more if it was available on my streaming platform of choice. 4/5

E.V.O.L. by Sonic Youth
Feb 08 2024

I thought this was going to be better for some reason. There were definitely some interesting and good moments, but most of it was just hard to listen to. 2/5

This was rough at times. I remember liking some of these songs when I was kid, but this has not aged well. Was really surprised that this was even on this list. 1.5/5

Imagine by John Lennon
Feb 12 2024

Not a bad album overall. Imagine was definitely the best song in here. 3/5

Fear Of Music by Talking Heads
Feb 13 2024

I didn't mind the music, but the vocals were hard to listen to for me. There were moments I felt like I was getting into it and then something about his voice would take me right back out. 2/5

Ray Of Light by Madonna
Feb 14 2024

She has a good voice, but most of this was really boring. There were some tracks that the vocals just didn't seem to go with the music. I can't see how anyone would say they really liked any of these songs. 2/5

Vespertine by Björk
Feb 15 2024

She has good avoice and it fit well with the music, the music just wasn't something I could get into. 2.5/5

S.F. Sorrow by The Pretty Things
Feb 16 2024

This was decently enjoyable. The sound quality wasn't great, but that had more to do with the era it was from than anything. I could probably listen to this again. 3.5/5

Bossanova by Pixies
Feb 19 2024

I actually quite liked this. The only major fault I see in this is practically every song has the same riff, just a slight variation of it. I kept hearing Wave of Mutilation and that's not even on this album. Still a rather enjoyable album. 4/5

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Feb 20 2024

I thought this was overall more enjoyable that thief debut album, even if this didn't have as many well known hits. This was much less doom-y to me and I liked the piano incorporated into some of the tracks. This is one I'll probably have to play through a few more times. 4/5

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 21 2024

This was fantastic. Every song was a hit for me. 5/5

Frampton Comes Alive by Peter Frampton
Feb 22 2024

I like most of the songs, I think it's prefer the studio versions though. I'll have to check out more from this guy. 4/5

Let It Bleed by The Rolling Stones
Feb 23 2024

This is the best Rolling Stones album I've heard. It had a lot of the hits I had heard before and the rest of the songs were still good. 5/5

Born To Run by Bruce Springsteen
Feb 26 2024

Another great album. This is better than Born in the USA in my opinion. I'll have to listen to this more. 5/5

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
Feb 27 2024

I really like this. Probably one of the best albums I've heard on this list. I'll definitely be returning to this one. 5/5

Feb 28 2024

Very “meh” on this one. It wasn’t necessary bad, I just didn’t really care for it. There were some interesting parts, but most of it just didn’t click with me. 2.5/5

Rocks by Aerosmith
Feb 29 2024

Not a bad album, I just have a hard time with Steven Tyler's voice. 3/5

Walking Wounded by Everything But The Girl
Mar 01 2024

Not really my thing, though not terrible. 2/5

Fulfillingness' First Finale by Stevie Wonder
Mar 04 2024

Not really what I expected from a Stevie wonder album and I can’t say I really enjoyed it. It wasn’t bad, it didn’t click with me. 2/5

Metallica by Metallica
Mar 05 2024

A classic Metallica album. Not my favorite, but still really good. 4.5/5

Cosmo's Factory by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 06 2024

This was fantastic! I've always liked songs I've heard from CCR, but never really listened to any of their albums. This was great all the way through. Definitely have to listen to this more. 5/5

Heroes to Zeros by The Beta Band
Mar 07 2024

This was ok, nothing super exciting, but not terrible. 2.5/5

Eternally Yours by The Saints
Mar 08 2024

Classic sounding punk album. Pretty decent over all. 3/5

Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock
Mar 11 2024

I liked how different this was, but it wasn't really my thing. Kept me interested though. 3/5

Songs From The Big Chair by Tears For Fears
Mar 12 2024

There were some good songs on here, but the second half seemed to blue together, and not necessarily in a good way. The good stuff on here was good enough to pull this up to a 3/5

Bitte Orca by Dirty Projectors
Mar 13 2024

I didn't think this was going to be so bad based on the opening few measures, but then the guy started singing. I couldn't stand his voice and the music didn't really flow in a way that worked for me. Not as bad as some of the "bad" albums from this list, but not something I ever want to listen to again. 1.5/5

Skylarking by XTC
Mar 14 2024

Not bad, but I kind of tuned it out often since it never really grabbed my attention. There were some good parts, but overall it just didn't do much for me. 2.5/5

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Mar 15 2024

Not a bad album, just not my thing at all. I can appreciate parts of it the piece as a whole, but I didn't really enjoy this; it was just kind of there. I still think this gets a 3/5

Hot Buttered Soul by Isaac Hayes
Mar 18 2024

I didn't really care for this, but not because I thought it was bad; I thought there was some good stuff for the genre, I just don't care for this style of music that much. 2.5/5

At Mister Kelly's by Sarah Vaughan
Mar 19 2024

I liked most of this, but the last song got incredibly annoying. 3/5

Tarkus by Emerson, Lake & Palmer
Mar 20 2024

I liked the progressive nature of this, but that synthesizer is annoying to me. 3/5

2112 by Rush
Mar 22 2024

This is a masterpiece. 5/5

Transformer by Lou Reed
Mar 25 2024

Ok album. Not a big fan of the vocals, but the music wasn't bad. 2.5/5

With The Beatles by Beatles
Mar 26 2024

Not a bad album from the Beatles. I wouldn't call it their best, but it's far from their worst. 3.5/5

Darklands by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Mar 27 2024

Depressing sounding, but actually not a bad album. 3.5/5

Psychocandy by The Jesus And Mary Chain
Mar 28 2024

I liked most of this. The worst part was the screeching on You Trip Me Up; I had to basically mute it at that point. Overall a decent album. 3/5

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Mar 29 2024

I really enjoyed this one. Not everything was great, but it was all good in my opinion. I'll have to listen to more of this. 4.5/5

Since I Left You by The Avalanches
Apr 01 2024

I'm not a fan of this. I would call it bad, I just don't care for the style. 2/5

War by U2
Apr 02 2024

Overall pretty decent. There were a couple really good songs and the rest were pretty mid. I think I'd listen to it again? 3.5/5

Apr 03 2024

Not terrible for country. I'm still jot really a fan of it, but it was lightyears better than current country music. 2/5

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Apr 04 2024

A few good songs and the rest were OK. 3.5/5

Apr 05 2024

In terms of a rap album, this wasn't too bad. Not a fan of rap, but I could make it through this album and didn't completely mind it started again. Express Yourself is probably the best on this album. 3/5

The Atomic Mr Basie by Count Basie & His Orchestra
Apr 08 2024

I really enjoyed this. Definitely going to have to listen to our more. 4/5

Crosby, Stills & Nash by Crosby, Stills & Nash
Apr 09 2024

This was ok. I enjoyed it, but not enough to want to listen to it again. They've got good harmony together and it sounds good, it just didn't really click with me. 3/5

Jazz Samba by Stan Getz
Apr 10 2024

This was ok. Not bad, but not really my thing. 2/5

Urban Hymns by The Verve
Apr 11 2024

Bittersweet Symphony was the only good song that I wouldn't mind hearing again. The rest were pretty forgettable and boring. I kept thinking they sounded like some other 90's/00's bands, but couldn't place it; just generic sounding. 2/5

Led Zeppelin by Led Zeppelin
Apr 12 2024

Petty good debut album. I enjoyed most of it. 4/5

Doggystyle by Snoop Dogg
Apr 15 2024

Not a fan at all. Not the worst rap album, but I hate rap that just talks about sex all the time; just why? 1/5

The Genius Of Ray Charles by Ray Charles
Apr 16 2024

Not bad. Seemed to start slowly for me, but maybe I just got distracted while working. Probably wouldn't return to it, but not off-putting at all. 3/5

Blonde On Blonde by Bob Dylan
Apr 17 2024

Another Bob Dylan album and another one where I can't stand his singing. This time, it's a little better, but the harmonica always makes me want to stop listening. It's a shame because some of the music itself isn't actually that bad. 2/5

Apr 18 2024

I can't do this one. I tried it several times getting a little further each time, but it's just repetitive and not interesting at all. 1/5

A Short Album About Love by The Divine Comedy
Apr 19 2024

Some of the music wasn't bad, but the vocals didn't seem to fit it well in my opinion. The lyrics were kind of stupid to me at times too. Just a bizarre album to me. 2/5

Maggot Brain by Funkadelic
Apr 22 2024

Not bad, sometimes interesting, but sometimes kinda boring to me. 2.5/5

Heroes by David Bowie
Apr 23 2024

Decent album, not much I didn’t like, but also not much that impressed me. 3/5

Tellin’ Stories by The Charlatans
Apr 24 2024

Not bad. Honestly reminds me of Oasis with a hint of the Rolling Stones. Probably won't revisit this, but was worth the listen. 3/5

Chris by Christine and the Queens
Apr 25 2024

Not a terrible album, somewhat boring to me. Overall just not something I'm that interested in. 2/5

The Infotainment Scan by The Fall
Apr 26 2024

There's some good stuff on this album; some catchy riffs and fun elements here and there, but I cannot get past the vocals. The kinda spoken-word singing is off putting to me at best and annoying at worst. 2/5

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
Apr 30 2024

Solid album. If I had one complaint, it's that it was a bit long for it's own good. I enjoyed it all, but it dragged on through the middle a bit. Still a good 4/5

Scum by Napalm Death
May 01 2024

There were elements to the instrumentals that I liked, however the blast beats were annoying and the vocals often sounded like a dog growling and really brought this down for me. Better than most rap albums on this list though, so it gets a 1.5/5.

Talk Talk Talk by The Psychedelic Furs
May 02 2024

This was fine, nothing really stood out as really good or bad. Probably wouldn't listen to it again, but I didn't hate it. 3/5

Five Leaves Left by Nick Drake
May 03 2024

Sounded pretty much the same throughout and pretty boring to me in general. Not a bad singer though. 2/5

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
May 06 2024

Great album for the most part. The album just flows well for me. 4/5

Innervisions by Stevie Wonder
May 07 2024

There were a few decent songs in here, but over all not really my thing. I could've done with less singing. 2.5/5

Rio by Duran Duran
May 08 2024

I really liked most of this. The second half of the album was a bit weaker, but still overall enjoyable. I'd listen to this again. 4/5

D by White Denim
May 09 2024

Actually a pretty decent album. Kind of proggy at times. 3.5/5

The Good, The Bad & The Queen by The Good, The Bad & The Queen
May 10 2024

Not bad. It was a little boring here and there. Probably won't return to this. 3/5

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
May 13 2024

I enjoyed this for the most part. I did not care for when June Carter started singing though, she did not have a good voice in my opinion. The rest of it was good. 4/5

Here's Little Richard by Little Richard
May 14 2024

I don't mind this, but I can't help myself from hearing tutti frutti in 1/4-1/2 of the songs on this album. Several songs had the same meter ands music, just different lyrics. It was a good tune, but it was a bit overused. 3/5

Swordfishtrombones by Tom Waits
May 15 2024

This was a weird album. Not really a fan of his voice, but some of the music was interesting. 2/5

Graceland by Paul Simon
May 16 2024

I didn't think I'd enjoy this, but it was surprisingly good. A fairly eclectic album in terms of styles, but all the songs worked pretty well. 4/5

Music From The Penguin Cafe by Penguin Cafe Orchestra
May 17 2024

Chill album. I think I liked the non-Zopf songs more, but they were all pretty good. I didn't care for the vocals and think those songs would have been better without them. 4/5

Smash by The Offspring
May 21 2024

This is a classic to me. Good all the way through. 5/5

So by Peter Gabriel
May 22 2024

Not a bad album. Kinda slow at parts, but it worked. 3/5

Tuesday Night Music Club by Sheryl Crow
May 23 2024

Not really my thing, but definitely just feels like the core of early-mid 90's pop music. 2.5/5

Arise by Sepultura
May 24 2024

I liked this, although it got a little repetitive at times. Pretty classic thrash without sounding like trash. 3.5/5

Amnesiac by Radiohead
May 27 2024

This wasn't bad, just a bit bland to me. 2/5

Frank by Amy Winehouse
May 28 2024

I did not like this much. Her voice often sounded like a muted trumpet and that just got annoying after a while. I listened through "Outro" and didn't bother with the rest; I figured that's where it logically ended so I "made it through." 1.5/5

The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
May 29 2024

Not bad. Kind of a early punk rock feel to it. 3/5

Moby Grape by Moby Grape
May 30 2024

I couldn't listen to all of this on Spotify, but what I could listen to, I liked for the most part. Pretty good old/classic rock. 3/5

The Modern Dance by Pere Ubu
May 31 2024

I didn't care for this one. Lots of squeaking and random noises that annoyed me. 1.5/5

Back To Black by Amy Winehouse
Jun 03 2024

Her voice and music is still not my thing, but I enjoyed this more than Frank. 2.5/5

Hail To the Thief by Radiohead
Jun 04 2024

Not bad, but as it's Radiohead, it's kinda boring to me. 3/5

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jun 05 2024

I liked this. Chill and interesting piano for an hour. There were some random moans or something that was a little weird, but overall rather enjoyable. 3.5/5

Jun 06 2024

Nu-metal isn't really my thing, but this was actually pretty decent. Some of Korn's style annoys me a little, but there was quite a bit here that I enjoyed. 4/5

Movies by Holger Czukay
Jun 07 2024

A rather weird album, but not really that bad. Not necessarily my thing, but I could find elements that I enjoyed and it wasn't annoying. 3/5

Odelay by Beck
Jun 10 2024

Not really a fan of this one, but at least I could make it through the album which is a step up from the last Beck album that I encountered on this list. 2/5

Jun 11 2024

I really enjoyed this. Kurt had a great voice for the style and put a lot into his music. 4.5/5

Rings Around The World by Super Furry Animals
Jun 12 2024

Probably one of the more interesting albums that didn't about the crap or if me. Chill at parts, weird at others, but pretty good overall. 4/5

Next by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band
Jun 13 2024

Not really a fan of this. The music wasn't bad, but I wasn't a fan of the vocals sometimes and the song writing--mainly the lyrics--was stupid. Vambo Marble Eye was pretty good, but the rest could be forgotten in my opinion. 2/5

Face to Face by The Kinks
Jun 14 2024

This was pretty good. I liked the style, it wasn't too it there, but different enough to keep my attention throughout. I'd probably listen to this again. 4/5

Violator by Depeche Mode
Jun 17 2024

This isn't typically my kind of music, but I really dig this--well, most of it. Some songs would be ones I'd skip if I listen again, but there's some really good stuff on here. 4/5

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Jun 18 2024

This wasn't bad, it was just kind of bland rock to me. Unlikely to return even though it might need a few more plays to click. 2.5/5

Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson
Jun 19 2024

I actually really enjoyed this, more so than any of the Beach Boys music. Well composed and well delivered, I thought his voice fit very well with this style. I'd listen to this again. 4/5

I Should Coco by Supergrass
Jun 20 2024

Decent album. I liked the instrumentals more than the vocals, but the vocals worked. There's probably a few songs I'd want to hear again. 3/5

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Jun 21 2024

I'm not a fan of rap, but as far as rap goes, this wasn't terrible. 2/5

Ellington at Newport by Duke Ellington
Jun 24 2024

The music wasn't bad and some was actually really impressive aside from the occasional trumpet squeaks and squeals. However, I could've done without every "Duke does something" track; I skipped every one of those. Way too long due to the banter. Could've been a 4, but 3/5 instead.

Music for the Masses by Depeche Mode
Jun 25 2024

Not bad, but kind of repetitive at times. Kept waiting for it to end by the end of the album. I've still heard much worse. 2/5

Let England Shake by PJ Harvey
Jun 26 2024

My god this was rough. Why did this make this list? There were a few moments here and there that weren't bad, but overall it was pretty terrible. 1.5/5

Jun 27 2024

For an album of covers, this is really good. The delivery of Hurt is always powerful to me and he brings that to many other songs on here. I liked it. 4/5

Emperor Tomato Ketchup by Stereolab
Jun 28 2024

This was not good. There were some decent elements, but then they found a way to repeat them until they were annoying. 2/5

This wasn't nearly as bad as the other PJ Harvey album on this list. I still don't think I want to hear it again, but it was much less "indie experimental" than the last and a bit more rock oriented. 2.5/5

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Jul 02 2024

I dig this. Very blues-y early rock. 4/5

Happy Sad by Tim Buckley
Jul 03 2024

Still not a fan of Tim Buckley. I don't want to call this bad, because I don't feel that it was, I just don't care for it. 2/5

Entertainment by Gang Of Four
Jul 05 2024

Not terrible. Parts of it were kind of annoying, but some was actually pretty decent. I wouldn't revisit all of it, but some songs are worth listening to again. 3/5

25 by Adele
Jul 09 2024

Not necessarily my kind of music, but this was pretty good. She's got a great voice and some of the songs were surprisingly catchy and a few just made me sad. 4/5

Oar by Alexander 'Skip' Spence
Jul 10 2024

This was bad. It was like he was trying to be Bob Dylan, but without any of the songwriting abilities. I didn't even finish it. 1/5

Wild Wood by Paul Weller
Jul 11 2024

I was not expecting to dig this as much as I am. Already listened twice and feel like this is one I'll come back to. No real complaints about it. 5/5

Our Aim Is To Satisfy by Red Snapper
Jul 12 2024

Not really a fan of this. For an "instrumental" album, there was a lot of repetitive singing. 2/5

The Cars by The Cars
Jul 15 2024

I really dig this album. If it weren't for one or two songs, I'd call this perfect for me. 4.5/5

Giant Steps by The Boo Radleys
Jul 17 2024

Not bad overall. 3/5

Justified by Justin Timberlake
Jul 19 2024

"Never again" is a song title that sums up how I feel about this album. Objectively speaking, not the worst I've heard on this list. Some elements weren't bad, but overall this is one I never want to hear ever again. 2/5

Appetite For Destruction by Guns N' Roses
Jul 22 2024

Good album, it's just held back by a few songs and Axl Rose's singing; he sounds like he sings through a harmonica for his high notes and it's rather annoying. 4/5

Aftermath by The Rolling Stones
Jul 23 2024

I was not impressed by this album. 2/5

Teenager Of The Year by Frank Black
Jul 24 2024

I liked a lot of this. Might have to check out some more of his stuff. 4/5

Post Orgasmic Chill by Skunk Anansie
Jul 25 2024

I can't say I was a fan of this at the start, but it did get reasonably good in the middle and towards the end. I liked the vocals when they weren't trying to be edgy with the lyrics. 3/5

Jul 26 2024

Ok, but nothing really exciting to me. Seemed like they wanted to emulate Rush a bit, but it just didn't have the same magic. 2.5/5

Moving Pictures by Rush
Jul 29 2024

One of the best albums on this list to me. Every song on here is great and I've been a big fan of this one for a long time. 5/5

Jul 30 2024

Ok album. Not a huge fan of the guy's voice, plus it tends to get lost in the mix a bit. 2.5/5

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Aug 01 2024

Decent psychedelic rock album. My only major complaint is the audio quality, but that's an effect of the era and not something that could really have been better at the time. Probably not something I'll return to, but not bad overall. 3/5

Screamadelica by Primal Scream
Aug 02 2024

Not a big fan of this album. The dance/house music inspiration and vibes in this result in a lot of songs being repetitive and droning. I did like Movin' On Up and Damaged though. 2/5

Band On The Run by Paul McCartney and Wings
Aug 05 2024

I liked this quite a bit. 4/5

Illinois by Sufjan Stevens
Aug 06 2024

Not a bad album. There were times I thought this was boring or things sounded the same, but a lot of it was interesting even if it wasn't really my thing. 3/5

Legalize It by Peter Tosh
Aug 07 2024

Not bad for raggae album. I think I enjoyed this more than Bob Marley. 2.5/5

American Pie by Don McLean
Aug 08 2024

Not a bad album. I think some of this could have been cut, but it was already on the shorter side. 3/5

Songs Of Love And Hate by Leonard Cohen
Aug 09 2024

This guy has the singing ability of Bob Dylan (not a good thing) and boring songs. 1.5/5

Moon Safari by Air
Aug 12 2024

Not really a fan of this one. 2/5

Aug 13 2024

I think I like this more than I should, and yet not as much as I want to. I like the punk aspects of this; I kind of like the Irish folk; I think they work well together, but it just doesn't click as much as I want it to. 3/5

Django Django by Django Django
Aug 14 2024

I liked this for the most part. Might have to give it another go. 4/5

Manassas by Stephen Stills
Aug 15 2024

Decent album overall. 3.5/5

Parachutes by Coldplay
Aug 19 2024

Ok, mellow. I remember Yellow being big when this came out, but I never got the hype and still don’t. 3/5

Feast of Wire by Calexico
Aug 20 2024

Ok. Not a fan of the last bit of this album, but the first part had a few good songs. 2.5/5

Bright Flight by Silver Jews
Aug 21 2024

Some of the music isn't bad, but the singing is rough at best. 2/5

Aug 22 2024

I didn't expect to like this and I really didn't, but not as much as I'd thought. It was rather boring to me, but I suppose it wasn't bad background noise. 2/5

World Clique by Deee-Lite
Aug 23 2024

Not my kind of music and kinda blurred together for me. 2/5

Hard Again by Muddy Waters
Aug 26 2024

I enjoyed this for the most part. 4/5

Felt Mountain by Goldfrapp
Aug 28 2024

Boring to me and the vocals easily got lost in the mix. 1.5/5

Ys by Joanna Newsom
Aug 29 2024

Her voice is somewhere between ok and cheese grater to my ears. The way she says "darling" and plenty of other words really gets on my nerves. The harp music is ok though. 2/5

Shaft by Isaac Hayes
Aug 30 2024

Nothing here really grabbed me, but it wasn't bad. 3/5

Sep 02 2024

I've heard most of these songs before and the ones I've heard were good, I guess there's a reason I ha ent heard the others. Overall decent album. 3/5

Future Days by Can
Sep 04 2024

40 minutes of weirdness. Not bad, but not necessarily something I'd listen to again. 2.5/5

Machine Head by Deep Purple
Sep 06 2024

This was really good in my opinion. I listened to this several times and will probably go back for more. 5/5

Liquid Swords by GZA
Sep 09 2024

Not the worst rap album, but still not my thing. 1.5/5

Definitely Maybe by Oasis
Sep 10 2024

Not a bad album. I think it starts off stronger than it ends, but it's pretty middle of the road in general. 3/5

Group Sex by Circle Jerks
Sep 11 2024

Short, but goes hard. I kinda liked this, but probably not enough to go back. 3/5

Ritual De Lo Habitual by Jane's Addiction
Sep 12 2024

I thought I would like this more, but there were only a few good songs in my opinion. 3/5

Meat Is Murder by The Smiths
Sep 13 2024

I liked a lot of this, but the last song was quite boring and depressing. 3.5/5

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sep 16 2024

I listened to this year's all and it didn't really click. I have it a good try this time and I think I need to spend some more time with it. There's a lot here and I think I'm only starting to scratch the surface. 4.5/5

Talking Heads 77 by Talking Heads
Sep 17 2024

Pretty good. There were some weird parts, but I found myself enjoying it overall. 4/5

L'Eau Rouge by The Young Gods
Sep 18 2024

Not a huge fan of this one, but I can't call it bad. There's some interesting stuff here, but it didn't flow well to me. There were moments that the singer sounded like the singer from Rammstein decided to learn french. 2.5/5

Mama's Gun by Erykah Badu
Sep 19 2024

Largely forgettable to me. Not my kind of music, though she seemed to sing well. 2/5

Chore of Enchantment by Giant Sand
Sep 20 2024

This was pretty awful. The dude cannot sing and his music was bad. 1/5

Thriller by Michael Jackson
Sep 23 2024

Decent album. There were really only a few good songs on here, the rest were pretty meh. 3/5

Aqualung by Jethro Tull
Sep 24 2024

I really enjoyed this and I think I'll have to give it a few more spins to fully appreciate it all. 4.5/5

Beach Samba by Astrud Gilberto
Sep 25 2024

Not my thing, but she could sing pretty well. 2.5/5

Back to Mystery City by Hanoi Rocks
Sep 26 2024

Not a bad album. Mix was a little quiet, but pretty enjoyable overall. 3.5/5

Sep 27 2024

I liked this album and played it a lot several years ago; it still holds up pretty well. 4/5

Boston by Boston
Sep 30 2024

One of the best debut albums of all time. Flawless in my opinion. 5/5

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Oct 01 2024

I guess I just don't get folk music. It wasn't bad, but I didn't think the guy could sing very well and the music wasn't that interesting. 2.5/5

Public Image: First Issue by Public Image Ltd.
Oct 02 2024

This was rough. I wanted to shut it off so many times. Slightly better than rap, but only slightly. 1.5/5

Sulk by The Associates

This was ok, but I don't really want to hear more. 2/5

Decent album with some good songs. I could listen to it some more. 3.5/5

Rubber Soul by Beatles

Good album. Pretty enjoyable all the way through. 4/5

Remain In Light by Talking Heads
Oct 10 2024

Weird, but I'm a good and interesting way. I liked it. 4/5

Oct 11 2024

Not my thing, but pretty good overall. Satellites hit me hard for some reason. I liked it overall. 3.5/5

Zombie by Fela Kuti
Oct 14 2024

This was really good. The instrumentation was interesting and enjoyable. I could've gone for less singing, but it was still decent. 4.5/5

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Oct 15 2024

This was pretty good. I'd probably listen to this more. 4/5

Sunshine Superman by Donovan
Oct 17 2024

Ok. I can definitely tell this was early psychedelic music. 3/5

Bug by Dinosaur Jr.
Oct 18 2024

I wasn't a fan of the guy's voice; he just sounded whiney. The music itself wasn't bad. 2.5/5

Shake Your Money Maker by The Black Crowes
Oct 22 2024

There's a few good songs on here, but otherwise pretty average rock. 3.5/5

I Am a Bird Now by Antony and the Johnsons
Oct 23 2024

This was depressing in many ways. The one good thing is I'll never have to listen to it again. I couldn't stand the voice. 1.5/5

Vivid by Living Colour
Oct 24 2024

I really enjoyed this. Metal/rock with jazzy/hip-hop kinds of influence was fun and different. 4.5/5

Pelican West by Haircut 100
Oct 25 2024

Not bad for new wave. 3/5

To Pimp A Butterfly by Kendrick Lamar
Oct 29 2024

For rap, this wasn't the worst I've heard. Not at all my thing, but I made it through. 2/5

Make Yourself by Incubus
Oct 30 2024

A lot of this was pretty solid rock, but wasn't the most interesting. 3.5/5

Da Capo by Love
Oct 31 2024

This was pretty good. Pretty interesting throughout and I'd probably listen again. 4/5

Konnichiwa by Skepta
Nov 01 2024

Can't say I'm a fan of this, but it's OK for rap. The British accent gave it a bit of charm that I liked, but still not something I'll probably ever listen to again. 2/5

Dookie by Green Day
Nov 04 2024

Great album. 5/5

Raising Hell by Run-D.M.C.
Nov 05 2024

This was pretty decent. Not usually my kind of music, but I enjoyed bits of it. 3/5

Beautiful Freak by Eels
Nov 06 2024

I kind of liked this and I’m not sure why. Depressing sounding, but also interesting. 3.5/5

Let Love Rule by Lenny Kravitz
Nov 07 2024

This was a fine rock album, nothing too special in my opinion though. 3/5

Arrival by ABBA
Nov 08 2024

I liked this album quite a bit actually. However, it gets docked a bit due to the movie/musical it helped inspire. 4/5

I wanted to enjoy this album more as the songs are good, but some of the mixes are just bad. Vocals get lost in the rest of the music sometimes and really detracts from the overall quality of this album. Still really good though. 4/5

Live / Dead by Grateful Dead
Nov 14 2024

Chill and easy listening, though some of the songs meandered on too long. 3.5/5

The Sounds Of India by Ravi Shankar
Nov 15 2024

I kinda liked the music, but I didn't care for all the talking. Between the accent, speaking volume, and content, I didn't really understand much of it and it detracted from the flow of the music itself. 2.5/5

Penthouse And Pavement by Heaven 17
Nov 20 2024

This was okay best. Nothing really stood out and I was counting down the songs until it was over. 2/5

Aha Shake Heartbreak by Kings of Leon
Nov 21 2024

The instrumentals aren't bad, but I cannot stand the vocals. Something about them just grinds at me. 2/5

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
Nov 25 2024

Not bad, but nothing really stood out to me. 2.5/5

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Nov 26 2024

Fantastic. Not their best album, but damn good. This has gotten a lot of plays from me over the years and I'll definitely be coming back to it. 5/5

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Nov 27 2024

I have never been able to get into The Doors and this album is no different. Not the worst thing I've ever listened to, but mediocre at best. 2/5

For Your Pleasure by Roxy Music
Nov 28 2024

This was not for my pleasure, but I'm sure it was someone's. 2.5/5

Guero by Beck
Dec 02 2024

Still can't get into Beck, though I could make it through this album unlike the other I've encountered on this list so far. 2/5

Atomizer by Big Black
Dec 03 2024

I dig this. Pretty approachable punk. The sound quality is kinda poor, sort of like they ran the whole mix through a fuzz box, but some good riffs in there. 3.5/5

Antichrist Superstar by Marilyn Manson
Dec 05 2024

Not really my thing, but ok to listen to. I could see the influence Trent Reznor had on this album, whether it was inspiration or production. 3/5

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Dec 06 2024

Give it away now! A few good songs and a lot of filler. 3/5

Green River by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Dec 09 2024

Fantastic album. CCR hits just right for me. I know many of their hits, but this was the first time I've heard several of these songs and it's not going to be the last. Not many albums on this list make me want to check out more of their stuff, but this one did it for me. 5/5

Songs From A Room by Leonard Cohen
Dec 10 2024

This guy cannot sing. Should have stayed in his room and locked the door so he can sing his depressing music to himself. 1.5/5

The Idiot by Iggy Pop
Dec 11 2024

Some of the music wasn't bad, but t I found the vocals pretty boring. This album felt longer than it was and ended with the sounds of keyboards dying. 2/5

Only By The Night by Kings of Leon
Dec 12 2024

I can't stand the singer's constant vocal fry singing. Some of the music isn't bad, but I really wanted to shut this off after a few songs. 1.5/5

New Forms by Roni Size
Dec 13 2024

Not necessarily a bad album, but really not my thing. It was a struggle to get through this. 2/5

Smokers Delight by Nightmares On Wax
Dec 16 2024

This has the same problem every electronic kind of music has in that it gets so repetitive without going anywhere. Nothing seemed to build up to anything which is just annoying to me. 1.5/5

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Dec 17 2024

One of the big 4 for a reason. One of their best albums and a banger all the way through. 5/5

Tommy by The Who
Dec 18 2024

I liked this. Many of the songs had similar motifs which gave everything a sense of continuity and flow. I'd listen to this again. 4/5

Destroyer by KISS
Dec 19 2024

Overall a pretty good album. 4/5

Live At Leeds by The Who
Dec 20 2024

This was a really good live album. A good collection of their earlier stuff, we'll mixed, and well performed. 5/5

In Our Heads by Hot Chip
Dec 23 2024

Ok electronic pop album. Some of it was repetitive, but it was interesting enough to get through. 3/5

Dec 24 2024

I'm not sure if it was a good thing this was as influential as it is claimed to be. There's a lot of random talking and garbage skits on here that I just skipped. Otherwise, this seemed like pretty generic rap to me, but I also don't care for rap so it all sounds the same to me. 1/5

Ghosteen by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Dec 25 2024

This is significantly better than all the other Nick Cave albums on this list--as in its actually listenable. Very mellow and somber sounding. This actually makes me thing this guy can actually write music. I might have to revisit this when I have more time to take it in. 4/5

Dry by PJ Harvey
Dec 26 2024

Better than the other album hy her that was on this list. Kinda grungy rock that wasn't terrible. I still don't think she can sing well, but it kinda worked for the style. 3/5

Dec 27 2024

I liked this. Softer than I usually like, but there's some good songs on here. 3.5/5

The Sensual World by Kate Bush
Dec 30 2024

Kinda boring to me and not a huge fan of her voice. 2/5

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Dec 31 2024

Her voice isn't bad and fits the music well, but I can't stand how she seems to keep adding syllables into words. It's very distracting to me and make me want to stop listening by the end of the first song. I made it halfway through before I had to listen to something else for a while. Not something I'd willingly listen to again. 1.5/5

Caetano Veloso by Caetano Veloso
Jan 01 2025

I liked it for what it was. I didn't understand any of it, but I could at least enjoy the music. 2.5/5

Electric Prunes by The Electric Prunes
Jan 02 2025

Chill classic rock vibes. 3.5/5

The Last Of The True Believers by Nanci Griffith
Jan 03 2025

Ok country-esque album. Country isn't really my thing, but this was short and relatively easy to get through. No talk of beer or tractors that I noticed. 3/5

Jan 06 2025

I really enjoyed this album. Wonderwall is definitely the best known song on here, but it is far from the only one worth listening to. 5/5

Low by David Bowie
Jan 07 2025

I liked this, mostly for the instrumental parts. 4/5

...Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
Jan 08 2025

She has a good voice, but for a pop album, there's a lot of boring songs on here. 2/5

Achtung Baby by U2
Jan 09 2025

Pretty ok. Nothing standout, but something I could see listening to more. 3/5

Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield
Jan 13 2025

Rather enjoyable (mostly) instrumental album. Lots of melodies I felt like I've heard before, whether they were directly from snippets/samples from this or if others have pulled from it for inspiration. 4/5

Celebrity Skin by Hole
Jan 14 2025

I really liked this album. Kind of punk, kind of grunge, but definitely something I enjoyed. 5/5

This Is Fats Domino by Fats Domino
Jan 15 2025

Short album, even shorter with Spotify missing 6 songs off the album. What I heard, I really liked and could go for more of. 4.5/5

All Mod Cons by The Jam
Jan 16 2025

Pretty good album. I listened to this a few times and could go for more. 4.5/5

Lust For Life by Iggy Pop
Jan 17 2025

Pretty good album overall. The Passenger is by far the best song on this record, but I'd listen to any of it again. 5/5

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Jan 20 2025

Not a bad album, but not really anything that stood out. Too long for it's own good. 2.5/5

Jan 21 2025

OK album, but felt very long. Didn't listen to the whole second disc that Spotify had as part of the album as it was just extras and I didn't really enjoy this enough to continue listening to more. 2.5/5

Slanted And Enchanted by Pavement
Jan 22 2025

Eh, not much exciting here. I kind of liked the more raw sound, but there wasn't anything that really caught my attention. 2.5/5

Yank Crime by Drive Like Jehu
Jan 23 2025

I liked this a lot. Definitely a good post-hardcore album. I'd revisit this again. 4/5

Trafalgar by Bee Gees
Jan 24 2025

Kind of boring to me. I thought The Bee Gees were supposed to be better. 2/5

Broken English by Marianne Faithfull
Jan 27 2025

I couldn’t stand her voice. I made it through, but I didn’t like it. 1/5

Your Arsenal by Morrissey
Jan 28 2025

He's got a good voice and the music wasn't bad. I'd probably give this another spin or two, but that's probably it. 3/5

Peggy Suicide by Julian Cope
Jan 29 2025

Not necessarily bad, just boring to me. There were some good moments, but nothing really worth returning to for me. 2/5

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Jan 30 2025

Not a bad instrumental album. There was some vocals, so not entirely instrumental, but they were easy enough to ignore. 3/5

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Jan 31 2025

I really didn't like the singer's voice. The constant falsetto was grating to my ears. He was much better when he sang lower. The music itself was ok at best. 2/5

Lost Souls by Doves
Feb 03 2025

Nothing really stood out on this record. 2/5

Feb 04 2025

I wanted to like this and there were things that I liked. The riffs were decent, especially for the era. It just didn't click with me. The vocals weren't great and the production sucked. 2.5/5

If You Can Believe Your Eyes & Ears by The Mamas & The Papas
Feb 05 2025

I feel like I've heard all these songs before even though I don't think I have. I did enjoy them and might give this another spin. 3.5/5

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
Feb 06 2025

I really enjoyed this. Some of the lyrics and content were pretty juvenile, but it was pretty fun to listen to. 4.5/5

Time Out by The Dave Brubeck Quartet
Feb 07 2025

Pretty good for jazz. I could listen to this more often. 4/5

Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Feb 10 2025

Not my favorite album I’ve heard on this list, but far from the worst. Not much to want to come back to. 2.5/5

Rum Sodomy & The Lash by The Pogues
Feb 12 2025

This was a fun irish-sounding punk album. I'd listen to this again. 3/5

Dirty by Sonic Youth
Feb 13 2025

Started out OK, but I didn't really like the vocals after a few songs. Some good riffs though. 2.5/5

Actually by Pet Shop Boys
Feb 14 2025

Not really a fan of this one. Music wasn't terrible, but too new-wave-y for me. 2.5/5

Heaux Tales by Jazmine Sullivan
Feb 17 2025

Not really my thing. I didn’t care for the music, lyrical content, or vocal style. She did have a decent voice, it was just wasted on trashy content. 1/5

Raw Like Sushi by Neneh Cherry
Feb 19 2025

I tried with this one, but I just can't stand any of it. Just annoying. Stopped after The Next Generation. 1/5

Gris Gris by Dr. John
Feb 20 2025

Not horrible, but not exactly good. 2/5

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Feb 21 2025

Ok album. Nothing really stood out, but was pretty easy to listen to. 3/5

You Are The Quarry by Morrissey
Feb 24 2025

Rather enjoyable overall. I’d listen to this more. 3.5/5

Electric Music For The Mind And Body by Country Joe & The Fish
Feb 25 2025

Not a big fan of psychedelic music so this wasn't my thing. It was ok to listen to once, but not something I desire to hear ever again. 2/5

Unknown Pleasures by Joy Division
Feb 26 2025

This was ok. Nothing special or standout here and honestly, mostly forgettable. It was fine to listen to once. 2.5/5

Happy Trails by Quicksilver Messenger Service
Feb 27 2025

This was ok, just kind of long feeling. 3/5

Who's Next by The Who
Feb 28 2025

Several really good songs and several songs I could do without. The good ones outshine the rest and put this up there for me. 4/5

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Mar 03 2025

I liked this a lot. Some really good songs on here and I listened to this several times. 4.5/5

Microshift by Hookworms
Mar 04 2025

After listening to the first song, I wasn't sure what I was listening to. I didn't really care for what came next, but it was tolerable. 2/5

Joan Baez by Joan Baez
Mar 05 2025

Not bad for a folk album, but definitely not my thing. 3/5

Life's Too Good by The Sugarcubes
Mar 06 2025

The sugarcubes can dissolve into obscurity. Some of the instrumentals were decent, but anytime the singing came in, I just wanted to shut it off. I didn't realize Bjork was the singer, but it explains the horrible screeching I was listening to. I'll pass on this one for the rest of time. 2/5

Let's Stay Together by Al Green
Mar 07 2025

Listened to this a few times and liked it. Pretty chill and would listen again. 4/5

McCartney by Paul McCartney
Mar 10 2025

Not a huge fan of this. There’sa couple decent songs, but nothing that really draws me back. 2/5

Hot Shots II by The Beta Band
Mar 12 2025

Ok album, not very memorable as I'm having a hard time recalling anything about it when I write this review the morning after listening to it. I remember it not being my thing, but I don't remember why. 2/5

Immigrés by Youssou N'Dour
Mar 13 2025

No idea what was said, but decent overall. A lot of it sounded the same though. 3/5

Mar 14 2025

I can say I've lived through this album and the experience was ok. Not a bad album, kinda grungy alt rock that did little to make me want to return. Plenty of decent songs though. 3.5/5

Viva Hate by Morrissey
Mar 17 2025

Another OK album from Morrissey. Seems like there's been a lot of albums from him recently and all of them are more or less the same. 3/5

Heaven Or Las Vegas by Cocteau Twins
Mar 18 2025

Not my favorite and honestly pretty boring to me. 2/5

The Healer by John Lee Hooker
Mar 19 2025

Decent blues album. I didn't mind listening to it, but not something I'd likely return to. 3/5

Marcus Garvey by Burning Spear
Mar 20 2025

Ok reggae. Felt much longer than it really was. 2.5/5

American Beauty by Grateful Dead
Mar 21 2025

More country than I would have expected from Grateful Dead, but a decent album overall. 3/5

Made In Japan by Deep Purple
Mar 24 2025

Very long album. The songs were good until they just went on noodling about for minutes longer than necessary. I get it was a live album, but it could've been 30 minutes shorter or swapped out some noodling for more songs. 3/5

The Yes Album by Yes
Mar 25 2025

I liked this quite a bit. Good prog rock. 4/5

The Real Thing by Faith No More
Mar 26 2025

Pretty good alt rock. Kinda grungy metal sound with some bangers. 3/5

Rapture by Anita Baker
Mar 27 2025

Not all of this was available to me, but what was available was decent. She has a good voice, but the style isn't one I really care for. 3/5

Tago Mago by Can
Mar 28 2025

Ok, but odd. 3/5

Blood And Chocolate by Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Mar 31 2025

Descent album I could probably listen to again. 3.5/5

GREY Area by Little Simz
Apr 02 2025

Not my thing, but in terms of rap this wasn't terrible. Rather monotone vocals, but at least there was some kind of backing music. 2/5

Dear Science by TV On The Radio
Apr 03 2025

Actually a rather enjoyable album. Kind of a chill indie rock record that I could listen to again. 3.5/5

1984 by Van Halen
Apr 04 2025

Excellent classic rock album with several hits that are instantly recognizable. Fun overall, but short. 4/5

Highly Evolved by The Vines
Apr 07 2025

Descent album that sometimes has some Oasis vibes mixed with some harder rock. I'd probably listen to it again. 3/5

Savane by Ali Farka Touré
Apr 08 2025

I didn't understand a word on the record, but I still enjoyed the tunes. Some of the songs did sound the same as others, but overall I liked it. 3/5

Goo by Sonic Youth
Apr 09 2025

Just not a fan of this style I guess. It's not bad, it's just not good either. 2/5

Fever Ray by Fever Ray
Apr 10 2025

Like a more minimal version of CHVRCHES, nothing special in my opinion. 2/5

I Against I by Bad Brains
Apr 14 2025

This wash ok. I think if the sound quality/production would have been better, I'd rate this a bit higher as the songs weren't bad. Didn't feel like it was anything special though. 3.5/5

Beyond Skin by Nitin Sawhney
Apr 15 2025

This started out OK but after a few songs got into annoying territory. I made it through, but can say I'll be happy to never listen to this again. 2/5

Out of Step by Minor Threat
Apr 16 2025

I really liked this. Hardcore punk isn't normally my thing, but this hit just right to be something I enjoyed. My only complaint is that it was really short. 4.5/5

The Beach Boys Today! by The Beach Boys
Apr 18 2025

Who doesn't enjoy some Beach Boys on occasion. Fun album that was easy to listen to. 4/5

Apr 21 2025

Didn't start bad, but drifted into annoying territory by the end. I ended up not finishing this it got on my nerves that much. Not a fan and will happily never listen to this again. 2/5

Peter Gabriel 3 by Peter Gabriel
Apr 22 2025

This was ok, I don't have much else to say. It didn't grab me in any way, but wasn't repulsive. 3/5

m b v by My Bloody Valentine
Apr 23 2025

This was the culmination of someone thinking fuzz was cool so more fuzz = more cool. It is not. Add in mumbled moans as vocals and uninspired song writing and this is an album that I couldn't get through. Boring and unexciting. I thought I'd add a few points for some interesting atmospheric keyboards in a song, but then the interesting part got old after 2 minutes of the same thing--and the song had another 3 minutes to go. That's when I decided this album was a list cause. 1/5

The Who Sell Out by The Who
Apr 24 2025

This was an interesting concept with a few good songs, the rest were ok. I Can See For Miles was the standout track. 3.5/5

Jack Takes the Floor by Ramblin' Jack Elliott
Apr 25 2025

This was fine. Nothing special, but nothing repulsive. 3/5

The La's by The La's
Apr 28 2025

Not bad, but there was really only one really good song. The rest was just ok. 3/5

Rejoicing In The Hands by Devendra Banhart
Apr 29 2025

Not sure what I listened to but I know I don't want to hear it again. Not that it was inherently bad, but it was definitely not for me. 2/5

The Stranger by Billy Joel
Apr 30 2025

I liked this for the most part. Several good songs with the rest being ok. Some went on a bit too long, but overall this was pretty enjoyable. 4/5

LP1 by FKA twigs
May 01 2025

This was terrible. Listened to a few songs and stopped. Probably one of the worst on this list. 0/5

Kid A by Radiohead
May 02 2025

Not bad, though the vocals are kinda whiney and a lot of this is relatively boring. Several really good songs though, so that helps pull the score up to a 3.5/5

Scream, Dracula, Scream by Rocket From The Crypt
May 05 2025

I'm mixed on this one. The riffs are fun and I found myself tapping my foot a lot, but the vocals are rough and offputting to me. I like the music though. 4/5 on riffs alone

Deserter's Songs by Mercury Rev
May 06 2025

If this is considered some of their best work, I don't want to imagine what anything else they've put out sounds like. The vocals were really off-putting to me, but whatever "instrument" made the weird noises throughout the record made me skip through songs hoping the next would not have the same issue. 2/5

Gold by Ryan Adams
May 08 2025

I quite enjoyed this one. I liked his voice and the piano parts. 4.5/5

Revolver by Beatles
May 09 2025

Pretty much in line with the Beatles; some great songs, some stinkers that made you wonder why beatlemania was a thing, and the rest ok. 3/5

Sail Away by Randy Newman
May 12 2025

This was ok, nothing really stood out. Kept wanting to hear You've Got a Friend in Me, but it wasn't on this album. 3/5

Black Metal by Venom
May 13 2025

Decent metal album, but the audio quality was terrible. 3.5/5

Casanova by The Divine Comedy
May 14 2025

I liked his voice and some of the music, but the two didn't always feel like they went together well. OK overall. 3/5

May 15 2025

Not a bad album. Didn't really feel like most punk I've heard, but wasn't bad to listen to. Kind of long and some of the songs sounded the same. Could use a bit more variety. Some of the song titles made me chuckle though. 3.5/5

B-52's by The B-52's
May 16 2025

Rather fun album in my opinion. Liked most of the tracks and would probably listen to this more. 4/5

Woodface by Crowded House
May 19 2025

I honestly don't remember much of this album. I know I listened to it, but it was apparently utterly forgettable. I guess that means it wasn't bad enough or good enough to leave an impact. 3/5?

May 20 2025

I hate this. Couldn't finish this rap pile of trash. I guess the only resealing quality was I didn't hear and stupid skies that rap albums tend to have; I only got a little halfway through, there might have been some and I didn't get to them. I'm not going to find out though. 0/5

Sunshine Hit Me by The Bees
May 21 2025

Not a fan of the singer at times, but the music was fine and occasionally bordered on good. 3/5

May 22 2025

I guess this was ok as a movie soundtrack, but was pretty boring in general. 2/5

Fuzzy Logic by Super Furry Animals
May 23 2025

Some decent riffs on here, kind of eclectic overall. Probably not something I'll return to, but interesting to listen to a few times. 3.5/5

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
May 26 2025

This was ok. Not really into indie pop, but this was mildly entertaining. 3/5

Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs
May 27 2025

Pretty chill album. Moments reminded me of Bruce Springsteen, others of Bob Dylan with better singing and less crappy harmonica. 4/5

Snivilisation by Orbital
May 28 2025

Nothing like the annoying dumpster fire off Orbital II. While repetitive at times and a bit long, it wasn't overly annoying and had some decent parts I actually enjoyed. 3/5

New York Dolls by New York Dolls
May 29 2025

Punk rock with a much more 70's rock/glam-metal feel. Not bad. Kind of reminded me of Quiet Riot or Twisted Sister at times. 4/5

Roxy Music by Roxy Music
May 30 2025

I didn't mind this, but don't see myself coming back to it. 3/5

Trio by Dolly Parton
Jun 02 2025

Not a bad country album, just not really interesting to me. 2.5/5

Dance Mania by Tito Puente
Jun 03 2025

No idea what was said but this was a long 38 minutes. Didn't care for much of it. 2/5

Clube Da Esquina by Milton Nascimento
Jun 04 2025

This all sounded the same to me and just dragged on way too long. 2/5

Queens of the Stone Age by Queens Of The Stone Age
Jun 05 2025

I liked this. Kinda grungy rock that I could use more of. 4/5

Little Earthquakes by Tori Amos
Jun 06 2025

Not that interesting to me. I could've gone without hearing this. 2/5

Night Life by Ray Price
Jun 09 2025

This was fine, nothing really stood out, but I didn't mind it. 3/5

KIWANUKA by Michael Kiwanuka
Jun 10 2025

I quite enjoyed this one. Chill rock that actually had some hooks. I'd listen to this again. 4/5

Jun 11 2025

Not a bad album overall. Could probably listen to a bit more, but would get bored fairly quickly. 3/5

Dusty In Memphis by Dusty Springfield
Jun 12 2025

Significantly better than the other Dusty Springfield album on this list (so far?). She seemed like she learned to sing finally and the songs weren't terrible. Several of the songs sounded familiar even though I don't think I've ever heard any of them. Not bad, even for a country record. 4/5

Surf's Up by The Beach Boys
Jun 13 2025

Ok album, not much interesting, but at least somewhat enjoyable to listen to. A little gloomy sounding for The Beach Boys in my opinion. 3/5

Stephen Stills by Stephen Stills
Jun 16 2025

I enjoyed this. It was nice background music and I probably would have listened to it more. 4/5

Tusk by Fleetwood Mac
Jun 17 2025

Not as many hits as Rumors, but I can see why this belongs on this list. Lots of good compositions that are enjoyable to listen to, even if the album is a hair long. I'd listen to this more. 4/5

Jun 18 2025

Not a bad album, but a lot of it sounds the same with nothing standing out. Reminds me of R.E.M. quite a bit. 3/5

Murmur by R.E.M.
Jun 19 2025

Ok overall. Relatively chill rock that rides the line between boring and interesting too well. 3/5

Time (The Revelator) by Gillian Welch
Jun 20 2025

Not great for me. It started out ok in the sense I thought the songwriting was decent, but just not for me, but by the end it got repetitive and felt very long. 2/5

Come Find Yourself by Fun Lovin' Criminals
Jun 23 2025

Actually a decent rap album with fun music and not too heavy on the rap aspect. Good rhythms without being overly vulgar or ridiculous. 4/5

Gasoline Alley by Rod Stewart
Jun 24 2025

This was fine. I liked the raspiness of his voice and the compositions were reasonably enjoyable to listen to. 3.5/5

Logical Progression by LTJ Bukem
Jun 25 2025

Made it through the entire thing, but it all sounded the same. Not a fan. 1.5/5

Copper Blue by Sugar
Jun 26 2025

I really liked this. Not a perfect album, but definitely something I listened to multiple times. 4.5/5

Be by Common
Jun 27 2025

Not a bad rap album. Actually had music that wasn't terrible and the lyrics weren't annoying. 3/5

Jun 30 2025

I enjoyed this. Some decent songs and one everyone knows. I'd probably listen to this again. 3/5

Rid Of Me by PJ Harvey
Jul 01 2025

3rd or 4th album I've listened to from PJ Harvey and she still sounds like a dying cat too often for my tastes. Started out heavier and ok, but got pretty rough. Was a little better towards the end, but not something really worth returning to. 2/5

Jul 02 2025

Not really a fan of this. Generally better rap than a lot of what I've heard, but still too much for me. 1/5

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
Jul 03 2025

This slaps hard. Chaotic and much more fun than I remember. 5/5

Jul 04 2025

Enjoyable for the most part. The first half was definitely stronger than the second. Kids, Time to Pretend, The Youth and Electric Feel were standouts to me. 4/5

Tragic Songs of Life by The Louvin Brothers
Jul 08 2025

Pretty much all the same music with different lyrics. Same song structure all the way through with very little variation. Not the worst thing I've listened to, but not sure why it's on this list. 2/5

Want One by Rufus Wainwright
Jul 09 2025

Kind of reminds me of the singer of Radiohead and the music was boring but bearable. 2.5/5

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Jul 10 2025

Not good. Too much of Snoop spelling his name; I'm glad he can, we all can and he doesn't need to prove he can. Several stupid skits or things that could be classified as skits, like pretty much every rap album I've heard. I'll never return to this and wish I never heard it to begin with. 1/5

Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys
Jul 11 2025

I actually kinda liked this. I wasn't expecting to, but the mix of Irish folk and rock worked in a way that made this fun and interesting. 4/5

I See A Darkness by Bonnie "Prince" Billy
Jul 14 2025

Was not expecting to like this, but was pleasantly surprised. Easy listening and if it were on Spotify, would probably get a few lore listens from me. 4/5

Superunknown by Soundgarden
Jul 15 2025

This was a banger. Chris Cornell had such a fantastic voice and the songs let his voice and the music mesh wonderfully. Not sure why I haven't listened to this in it's entirety before, but I'll definitely revisit this one. 5/5

Licensed To Ill by Beastie Boys
Jul 16 2025

Decent with some fun tracks. Definitely should keep these guys' heads in some jars for over 1000 years to let them keep partying. 4/5

Seventeen Seconds by The Cure
Jul 17 2025

I've liked other albums from The Cure, but this one just seemed pretty meh. Nothing really exciting or interesting going on here to me. Not a bad listen, just nothing jumped out. 3/5

Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper
Jul 18 2025

A few good songs, the rest were pretty forgettable. Figured there'd be better stuff on an Alice Cooper album. 3/5

The Holy Bible by Manic Street Preachers
Jul 21 2025

Not a fan of the album artwork, but the music was fine. Wouldn't mind this in the background. 4/5

Songs For Swingin' Lovers! by Frank Sinatra
Jul 23 2025

I enjoyed this one. Frank Sinatra had a great voice and was a pleasure to listen to. 5/5

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

Very fitting that this showed up the day after Ozzy died. One of the best metal albums of all time and essentially helped developed the genre. 5/5

Wild Gift by X
Jul 25 2025

This was fine. Hadn't heard of X before, but it's not bad punk music. Could see myself checking out some of their other stuff. 4/5

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jul 28 2025

Funky fun rap that wasn't awful to listen to. 4/5

I See You by The xx
Jul 29 2025

Not a bad album. A lot of it sounded the same, but was pretty chill. I could listen to this again. 3.5/5

We Are Family by Sister Sledge
Jul 30 2025

Not a bad album. Recognized very few songs, but very listenable. 3/5

Oedipus Schmoedipus by Barry Adamson
Jul 31 2025

Wasn't really a fan of this one. It started off ok, but got annoying by Dirty Barry. The end got a little better, but not enough to make me not regret listening to this. 2/5

Tigermilk by Belle & Sebastian
Aug 01 2025

Some of this was decent, but not anything really worth returning to. I don't really think I'd consider this pop music, but it is probably better that way. 3/5

The Trinity Session by Cowboy Junkies
Aug 04 2025

The singer had a good voice and the music wasn't bad. Wasn't expecting much from a country album, but was pleasantly surprised. 3.5/5

The Suburbs by Arcade Fire
Aug 05 2025

Fairly generic sounding. I can see the appeal to people, but this just wasn't that interesting. Not entirely boring, just nothing standout. 2.5/5

Aug 06 2025

Not sure how I feel about his voice. Some of the music isn't bad, but his voice makes me think of a heavy smoker's voice and he sounds like he'd be a creep. Kept distracting me from the actual music. 2/5

Aug 07 2025

This was ok. I guess the fact that it sounds like pretty much all the other Post Rock music I've heard makes sense as this pretty much defined the genre. In terms of significance, I suppose that makes this album very significant. In terms of listenability, I could listen to it again in the right mood though I think the first track could have cut out much of the last 5ish minutes. 3/5

Power In Numbers by Jurassic 5
Aug 08 2025

I didn't hate this hip hop album. Enjoyed several songs on here. Good rhythms and flows well. 3/5

Aug 11 2025

Not really a fan of this one. In terms of rap/hip hop, it's better than most, but nothing really worth returning to. 2/5

At Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Aug 12 2025

The only bad parts of this album were when June Carter was singing. 4/5

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Aug 13 2025

This album has a few recognizable songs on it with the rest being mostly filler. She has a great voice but it feels wasted on this pop garbage. I'm not sure the few popular songs make this a must-listen album. 2/5

Aug 14 2025

Said her name in the songs, check. Talked about how good at rapping she is, check. Skits, check. Lots of "uhs" and "yeahs," check. Guest rappers, check. Bragging about how much money she's going to make as a rapper, check. Talk about sex, check. Although it wasn't in the same context as most rap albums. This checks all the boxes to clarify as a generic rap/hip hop album. Too long for it's own good with nothing that really makes it stand out. The only redeeming quality is she has a decent singing voice when she actually felt like singing. 1.5/5

Step In The Arena by Gang Starr
Aug 15 2025

Not a bad rap album; actually something I didn't mind listening to. 3/5

Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth
Aug 18 2025

Similar to the other Sonic Youth album on this list in that there's really not much that stood out. The girl's singing was rough, but the guy's was a bit better. Just kind of noise overall though. 2/5

Water From An Ancient Well by Abdullah Ibrahim
Aug 19 2025

An actually decent jazz album. Not too out there or experimental sounding and rather easy to listen to. 3.5/5

Street Life by The Crusaders
Aug 20 2025

I enjoyed this for the most part. Moved kinda slow, but didn't cross into boring territory at all. 3.5/5

The Slider by T. Rex
Aug 21 2025

Ok album, nothing really exciting, but mildly entertaining. 3/5

Black Monk Time by The Monks
Aug 22 2025

I can see why they only had one studio album. Kind of a mix between The Doors (probably because of the synthesizers) and happy punk rock? Definitely an odd mix that I can't say was great to listen to, but there were some catchy parts that I did enjoy. Mixed feelings on this so it gets a 3/5

Phrenology by The Roots
Aug 25 2025

Not a bad rap album, but too long for its own good. 2/5

Permission to Land by The Darkness
Aug 26 2025

Kind of a fun rock album. Vocals were sometimes annoying, but also fit fairly well. Kind of reminds me of Franz Feredinand or The Killers in a way, but a bit more frantic. 3/5

Pretenders by Pretenders
Aug 27 2025

Not a huge fan of the vocals, but the rest of the music was fine. 2.5/5

Odessa by Bee Gees
Aug 28 2025

Largely forgettable to me. Not bad, just nothing stood out. 2/5

Fear and Whiskey by Mekons
Aug 29 2025

I could've used some whiskey listening to this. Not bad, but the country/punk blend wasn't doing it for me. Neither influence was very strong and the result was just not enjoyable. 2/5

Red Dirt Girl by Emmylou Harris
Sep 01 2025

I very much disliked this album; it was just annoying and distracting--not like some electronic albums can be, but just not good. Was very happy to be done with this one. 1/5

Idlewild by Everything But The Girl
Sep 02 2025

Pretty boring in general. Probably for someone, but not me. 2/5

Call of the Valley by Shivkumar Sharma
Sep 03 2025

Not a bad instrumental album. Not something I'm likely to return to, but decent background music. 3/5

Sep 04 2025

There was no flow at all and was hard to listen to. I may not like rap, but putting my feelings about the genre aside, this was still objectively terrible. 0/5

16 Lovers Lane by The Go-Betweens
Sep 05 2025

Rather enjoyable and easy to listen to. 4/5

Coat Of Many Colors by Dolly Parton
Sep 08 2025

Not a bad album. Dolly Parton can sing, but it's just not music I care to listen to. 3/5

Play by Moby
Sep 09 2025

Not a half bad electronic album. Not super annoying or repetitive in ways that electronic music tends to be. 3/5

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Sep 10 2025

I've always heard this album is one of the best albums ever written and I never quite got it. I tried listening to it previously, but what the hell was I listening to before because it wasn't this. This was incredible and absolutely worthy of the praise! Absolutely fantastic album through and through. There's the bangers and the ballads, all of which are sonic beauty. Deserves more than 5 stars. 5/5

Shalimar by Rahul Dev Burman
Sep 11 2025

Interesting album, though not bad. 3/5

Bone Machine by Tom Waits
Sep 15 2025

What the hell did I listen to? Weird as hell and really dumb. 1/5

We're Only In It For The Money by The Mothers Of Invention
Sep 16 2025

This was an odd one. I feel like the last track was just the band laughing at me for having listened to this whole thing as if it was one big joke. 2/5

White Blood Cells by The White Stripes
Sep 17 2025

Decent rock album. A few standout songs. 3/5

Phaedra by Tangerine Dream
Sep 18 2025

Kinda fancy elevator music to me. 2/5

The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan
Sep 19 2025

Not terrible, but not really exciting. A lot of it sounded the same. 3/5

The Gershwin Songbook by Ella Fitzgerald
Sep 22 2025

This was a slog, not because it was bad, but because it was just long. She can sing wonderfully and the music is enjoyable, but why does a box set belong on this list? 3/5

Punishing Kiss by Ute Lemper
Sep 23 2025

She can sing, but who in their right mind is going to sit down and think, oh, I need to listen to this album right now. I can see the influence from Nick Cave and Tom Waits on this album and that's not a good thing. The last song was punishing to listen to. 1/5

The Age Of The Understatement by The Last Shadow Puppets
Sep 24 2025

Not a bad album. I kept getting distracted and losing where I was in the album, but I didn't have a problem picking up at any point and repeating songs. 4/5

Architecture And Morality by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark
Sep 25 2025

This was fine. Honestly this was just background noise to me and I don't remember much of it. Nothing stood out, but nothing was bad. 3/5

Bad Company by Bad Company
Sep 26 2025

Great album. Not sure what else to say, it's just good. 5/5

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Sep 29 2025

I quite enjoyed this one. Easy listen alt rock that I could probably spin a few times without getting tired of it. 4/5

Gentlemen by The Afghan Whigs
Sep 30 2025

Pretty good alt rock album. The remaster sounded very clean. 4/5

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Oct 01 2025

Pretty good. Reminds me a lot of Deep Purple. 4/5

Debut by Björk
Oct 02 2025

Kinda bland pop. Not a fan of this one. 2/5

Djam Leelii by Baaba Maal
Oct 03 2025

I wanted to like this more. The instrumentals were interesting and quite enjoyable, but the vocals annoyed me. The different language didn't bother me, how voice just grated at me. Give me this album as an instrumental one, and I'd be happy to listen to this again. 3/5

Station To Station by David Bowie
Oct 06 2025

Decent album. Pretty much more of David Bowie, but not as exciting. 3/5

A Little Deeper by Ms. Dynamite
Oct 07 2025

I listened to enough of this. No need to hear any more or any of this ever again. I'm failing to see what made this any different or better than all the other rap albums on this list. 1/5

Fragile by Yes
Oct 09 2025

Interesting, but not really something I want to listen to again. Just not much here that is catchy or memorable enough to pull me in even though it is a kind of music I like. Maybe more listens would make the subtleties pop out and be more engaging (like most proggy music tends to be). 3/5

Dust by Screaming Trees
Oct 10 2025

I liked this and need to listen to it some more. 4/5

The Rolling Stones by The Rolling Stones
Oct 13 2025

I enjoyed this. Bluesy rock that is pretty easy listening. 4/5

Tea for the Tillerman by Cat Stevens
Oct 14 2025

Rather enjoyable album. Chill and easy listening but still catchy at times. 4/5

Ragged Glory by Neil Young & Crazy Horse
Oct 15 2025

This was a fine album. I wouldn’t have thought I’d like Neil Young’s music so much, but it’s better than I thought. Each album I’ve listened to has something interesting and engaging for me. There were parts where the vocals were a little rough, but I guess that’s part of the charm. 3.5/5

Moss Side Story by Barry Adamson
Oct 16 2025

Interesting, but not particularly engaging. 3/5

evermore by Taylor Swift
Oct 20 2025

Not a swifty by any means, but this is good. She does have a good voice and the instrumentation is fitting. Sounds like songs for a rainy day. 4.5/5

The Slim Shady LP by Eminem
Oct 21 2025

Better than The Marshall Mathers LP, but still terrible. 1/5

The Poet by Bobby Womack
Oct 22 2025

This was fine, nothing to really write home about. He can sing well and the music wasn't bad, but not something really worth returning to. 3/5

Connected by Stereo MC's
Oct 23 2025

Found myself enjoying this more than expected. Good rhythms and pretty fun. Not sure if its something I'll return to, but it was worth the listen. 3.5/5

Heartattack And Vine by Tom Waits
Oct 27 2025

Jersey Girl and Mr. Siegal were good, though I will say I think Bruce Springsteen did Jersey Girl better. Better overall than the other Tom Waits album that was on this list, but still not great. 2/5

1999 by Prince
Oct 28 2025

This was a fun album to listen to. I dig it 5/5

Take Me Apart by Kelela
Oct 29 2025

Vocals were good, music was ok. Overall better than expected, but unlikely to return to this. 3/5

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Oct 30 2025

Not a bad electronica album. Repetitive, but not annoyingly so. Could enjoy this in the right mood. 4/5

Survivor by Destiny's Child
Oct 31 2025

Generic sounding r&p/pop. What was so spectacular about this? 2/5

Buffalo Springfield Again by Buffalo Springfield
Nov 03 2025

I enjoyed this. Nothing super attention catching, but it was a fine album. 3/5

Reggatta De Blanc by The Police
Nov 04 2025

Overall good, but nothing on this album was as good as Message in a Bottle. 3.5/5

Third by Soft Machine
Nov 06 2025

Ok, kind of long but was interesting. 3/5

Third by Portishead
Nov 07 2025

Not a fan of this one. Mostly just noise to me. 1.5/5

Southern Rock Opera by Drive-By Truckers
Nov 11 2025

I enjoyed this. Kind of long, but moved at a good pace. 3.5/5

Songs The Lord Taught Us by The Cramps
Nov 12 2025

Parts of this were good as a punk-esque album, but some of it was just painful to listen to. Might be for somebody, but not for me. 2/5

Parklife by Blur
Nov 13 2025

Fine album, catchy at times. Felt longer than it was. 3/5

Peter Gabriel by Peter Gabriel
Nov 14 2025

Pretty meh on this one. Fine, but unremarkable. 2.5/5

Rust In Peace by Megadeth
Nov 17 2025

Thrashy. Good album overall. 4/5

The Coral by The Coral
Nov 18 2025

Ok at times, but irritating most of the time. I wouldn't compare this guy's voice to Jim Morrison's at all, but the music is kind of the same vein--for better or worse. 2/5

The Modern Lovers by The Modern Lovers
Nov 19 2025

Sounded much more like a indie rock album from the 2000's that wanted to sound old than something from the 1970's. Decent music overall, I could listen to this again. 3.5/5

Teenage Head by Flamin' Groovies
Nov 20 2025

Groovin'. I enjoyed this one; pretty fun. 4/5

Ill Communication by Beastie Boys
Nov 21 2025

Excellent album... and that's coming from someone who doesn't like rap. Definitely dig Sabotage and Tough Guy is a nice hardcore song that was surprising to hear. TIL that the Beastie Boys started from the hardcore band the Young Aborigines--maybe that has something to do with my ability to enjoy their music. 5/5

Infected by The The
Nov 24 2025

This was fine but fairly unmemorable. 3/5

Butterfly by Mariah Carey
Nov 25 2025

Good voice, but this was boring. 2/5

Being There by Wilco
Nov 27 2025

Actually kind of liked this one. Slower alt rock sound. 4/5

Vanishing Point by Primal Scream
Nov 28 2025

A lot better than the Wikipedia overview made it sound like it was going to be. Pretty enjoyable overall with some spots being a bit rough. 4/5

Damaged by Black Flag
Dec 01 2025

Decent hardcore album. I liked the faster parts. 3/5

Os Mutantes by Os Mutantes
Dec 02 2025

Reminded me of the Beatles a bit at times. No idea what was said, but mostly enjoyable aside from some harsh noises from time to time. 3/5

Go Girl Crazy by The Dictators
Dec 03 2025

I like this. Early punk that isn’t too rough. 4/5

Scissor Sisters by Scissor Sisters
Dec 04 2025

Not a bad album, but not something I really enjoyed. I wanted to, but it just didn’t work for me. 2.5/5

Time Out Of Mind by Bob Dylan
Dec 05 2025

What’s this, a Bob Dylan album that doesn’t feature harmonica and is actually decent? I didn’t think this existed. 4/5

In A Silent Way by Miles Davis
Dec 08 2025

Good jazz album. Nothing obnoxious or annoying and a reasonable length considering it’s two songs. 4/5

Axis: Bold As Love by Jimi Hendrix
Dec 09 2025

Pretty good, though the last two minutes of If 6 Was 9 got a bit annoying. 4/5

The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter by The Incredible String Band
Dec 11 2025

This is not as bad as reviews claimed it to be. Not to say this is good--it's definitely not--but there's significantly worse albums on this list. Weird and not exactly pleasant to listen to, but at least somewhat interesting as most psychedelic music is. 2/5

Music by Madonna
Dec 12 2025

Just pop music that isn’t all that good. 1/5

Kollaps by Einstürzende Neubauten
Dec 15 2025

This was annoying. 1/5

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Dec 17 2025

Better album than others by Bob Marley on this list. I'd probably listen to this again. 3.5/5

Dec 18 2025

An actually decent rap album. Some garbage on here, but much lower than most. 3/5

Kimono My House by Sparks
Dec 19 2025

This wasn’t bad. Some annoying parts, but overall decent. 3/5

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Dec 23 2025

Decent, if unexciting. 33 minutes went by slowly. 2.5/5

Ananda Shankar by Ananda Shankar
Dec 24 2025

Interesting blend of Indian and western music. Mostly instrumental sitar which kind of droned on a bit, but was never really annoying. 3.5/5

Aja by Steely Dan
Dec 25 2025

This was pretty good. 4/5

69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields
Dec 29 2025

DNF… very long and not that interesting. Got maybe an hour in figured I’d heard everything there is to hear. Not necessarily bad, just pretty meh. 2/5

Bandwagonesque by Teenage Fanclub
Dec 30 2025

Enjoyed this one. 3.5/5

Henry's Dream by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Dec 31 2025

Another Nick Cave album… I just don’t get the appeal for his music. This one was better than the others, but still not something I want to listen to. 2.5/5

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jan 01 2026

Funky and weird. The last song had lots of sounds that sounded like farts—maybe that’s me being childish but it was early when I listened to this. Overall, not something necessarily bad, just something I don’t really want to listen to again. 2.5/5

At Budokan by Cheap Trick
Jan 02 2026

Really dig the songs, but I feel like they would’ve been better as studio versions. 4/5

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Jan 05 2026

Not bad music. I like the Allman Brothers, but this was a bit of a slog to get through. The studio versions are better and more concise. 3/5

OK Computer by Radiohead
Jan 06 2026

A few really good songs with the rest being ok. I’d probably just listen the specific songs over the whole album if I were to return. 3.5/5

The Rise & Fall by Madness
Jan 07 2026

Not entirely available on Spotify, but I liked what was there. 3/5

Suede by Suede
Jan 08 2026

Decent album. I could listen to this again. 4/5

Jan 09 2026

Actually not bad. I wasn’t looking forward to this based on the description, but was reasonably enjoyable. 3.5/5

Purple Rain by Prince
Jan 12 2026

Good album. I’ll listen to this more and it also makes me want to check out more from Prince. 4.5/5

En-Tact by The Shamen
Jan 13 2026

Not a terrible EDM album. Not horribly annoying, but not that fun to listen to. 2/5

Cheap Thrills by Big Brother & The Holding Company
Jan 14 2026

Not bad. I liked the vocals and most of the music, but it wasn't anything spectacular. 3.5/5

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
Jan 15 2026

Ok, pretty boring. 2/5

Mask by Bauhaus
Jan 16 2026

Just kind of weird. 2/5

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Jan 19 2026

I did this. It’s not as good as Purple Rain, but it’s still good. A bit long. 3.5/5

Repeater by Fugazi
Jan 20 2026

Fantastic! Hardcore without too hectic screaming. I’ll definitely listen to this more. 5/5

Elvis Is Back by Elvis Presley
Jan 22 2026

Pretty good, fun album. I could listen to this more. 4/5

KE*A*H** (Psalm 69) by Ministry
Jan 23 2026

Not bad, though not really my kind of metal. Reminds me of rammstein a lot. 3/5

White Light / White Heat by The Velvet Underground
Jan 26 2026

I think I’d pass on this one again. Not terrible, but not that interesting or enjoyable. 2/5

She's So Unusual by Cyndi Lauper
Jan 27 2026

Not a bad pop album, but the baby talk at the end was a little much. 3/5

Cypress Hill by Cypress Hill
Jan 28 2026

Not the worst rap/hip-hop, but not great. I’m happy I don’t have to listen to this again. 2/5

Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout
Jan 29 2026

This was fine. Nothing super exciting or repulsive. 3/5

Tonight's The Night by Neil Young
Jan 30 2026

Not as good as the other Neil Young albums on this list. Pretty average. 3/5

Garbage by Garbage
Feb 02 2026

Not garbage, but nothing to write home about. 2.5/5

Rhythm Nation 1814 by Janet Jackson
Feb 03 2026

Just another pop/r&b album to me. Nothing special, but could be catchy at times. 3/5

School's Out by Alice Cooper
Feb 04 2026

Nothing was as good as the title track, but still an overall decent album. 3.5/5

Chelsea Girl by Nico
Feb 05 2026

I really don’t like this. It’s not necessarily bad, but I can’t stand the singing and that’s about all there is on this album. The instrumentals are barebones—which is fine, but the vocals need something to help them and the music isn’t cutting it. Halfway through this, I just wanted to stop. 1.5/5

Club Classics Vol. One by Soul II Soul
Feb 06 2026

Couldn’t wait for this to be over. It wasn’t bad, but it was just irritating to me for some reason. Definitely not my thing. 2/5

Crazysexycool by TLC
Feb 10 2026

The songs weren’t terrible but the interludes were stupid. Not my kind of music, but I can understand why people liked this. 3/5

Berlin by Lou Reed
Feb 11 2026

Not a terrible album, but rather boring. I didn’t care for his voice or singing style and the music was not interesting. 2/5

Feb 12 2026

Not a bad album, but there were plenty of times I wasn’t sure what I was listening to. Better than expected. 3/5

Want Two by Rufus Wainwright
Feb 13 2026

Not really that bad, but not something I’m interested in. 2.5/5

Boy In Da Corner by Dizzee Rascal
Feb 16 2026

Never heard of grime as a genre before today and I wish I hadn’t. Not really sure what is going on or why someone would enjoy this. Definitely not for me. Got about 5-6 songs into this and stopped. 1/5

Back to Basics by Christina Aguilera
Feb 17 2026

Good voice, but still wasted on poppy garbage. The second disc was better than the first. 2/5

The Hour Of Bewilderbeast by Badly Drawn Boy
Feb 19 2026

Not really my thing, but I did enjoy this. Felt like this was pretty accessible alt rock that was fine to listen to. 3.5/5

Bad by Michael Jackson
Feb 20 2026

Pretty good album. 4/5

Hypocrisy Is The Greatest Luxury by The Disposable Heroes Of Hiphoprisy
Feb 23 2026

Not my kind of music, but the content is still relevant and true today. 3/5

Feb 24 2026

Not bad. Felt like it went by quick but I don’t remember much of it. 3/5

Feb 25 2026

Not a bad country album. Not great, but good enough to listen to once. 3/5

Superfly by Curtis Mayfield
Feb 26 2026

This was fine. 3/5

Bat Out Of Hell by Meat Loaf
Feb 27 2026

Not bad. I liked the piano rock elements, but I don’t think this was amazing as sales numbers would imply. 3.5/5

Sincere by Mj Cole
Mar 02 2026

Not finishing this. I don’t like what I’ve heard so far and Spotify’s track listing has a lot of extra songs compared to what Wikipedia has listed. I don’t know what really belongs on this album, but based on what I’ve heard, it doesn’t belong on this list. 1/5

Faust IV by Faust
Mar 04 2026

Ok album, kinda boring. 2/5

Devil Without A Cause by Kid Rock
Mar 05 2026

I listened to enough of this garbage. Rap is bad enough without this asshat throwing his trucker hat into the ring. Wannabe cowboy rapper should’ve stayed home and lived off his parents’ wealth rather than leaving his brown stain on music. 0/5

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Mar 06 2026

I really enjoyed this. Not something I’d listen to often, but she has a good voice, good music, and lyrics that are still relevant almost 40 years later. 5/5

All Directions by The Temptations
Mar 09 2026

Decent Motown album. Kinda funky at the start. 3/5

Nick Of Time by Bonnie Raitt
Mar 10 2026

Decent album, though nothing super exciting. Ok voice and instrumentals. 3/5

Sweet Baby James by James Taylor
Mar 11 2026

Not really a fan of this one. Not bad, just not my thing. 2/5

Protection by Massive Attack
Mar 16 2026

Prey boring overall. The only good song was Heat Miser and it was short. Everything else felt twice as long as it was. 2/5

Pieces Of The Sky by Emmylou Harris
Mar 17 2026

Not a bad country album. She could sing fairly well and it wasn’t all about tractors and beer so that gets it an extra star. 3/5

Fishscale by Ghostface Killah
Mar 19 2026

Decent rap album marred by stupid rap skits. 2/5

Cafe Bleu by The Style Council
Mar 20 2026

This was rather fun to listen to. I’d probably listen to it again. 4/5

Germfree Adolescents by X-Ray Spex
Mar 23 2026

This was ok. Not really a fan of the vocals, but I liked the punk vibe. 3/5

Another Green World by Brian Eno
Mar 30 2026

I listened to this on a Friday and completely forgot everything about it by Monday. Nothing special. 2/5

Oxygène by Jean-Michel Jarre
Mar 31 2026

Decent album but slightly annoying at times. 2.5/5

Youth And Young Manhood by Kings of Leon
Apr 01 2026

Not bad. Not really a fan of the vocals, but the music was at least decent. 3/5

Apr 02 2026

Pretty boring. Her voice is sometimes OK, but there were pretty obvious uses of autotune used. Not my thing, but I can see why some would like this. 2.5/5

Getz/Gilberto by Stan Getz
Apr 03 2026

No idea what was said, but I kinda liked this. Thought there’d be more saxophone based on the description. 4/5

Hypnotised by The Undertones
Apr 07 2026

Not a bad album. Kind of minimal sounding rock/punk with interesting songs. 3/5

Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear
Apr 08 2026

This was fine as background noise. Nothing exciting or repulsive. 3/5

Apr 09 2026

Pretty good. I think it would’ve been better as an instrumental album, but the singing was ok. 3.5/5

Fifth Dimension by The Byrds
Apr 10 2026

This was ok. Not a big fan of the noodly guitar work, it just sounded like someone learning to play guitar messing around with random strings. 2/5

Hejira by Joni Mitchell
Apr 13 2026

Pretty ok. Decent voice, but kinda boring music. Not my thing. 2.5/5

...The Dandy Warhols Come Down by The Dandy Warhols
Apr 14 2026

Started out ok but dragged on. The last 20 minutes of the album were boring and started to get downright annoying, not because of weird sounds or anything, it just grated on and on. 2/5

Done By The Forces Of Nature by Jungle Brothers
Apr 15 2026

Not available on Spotify, but found this on YouTube. Decent rap album that didn’t have any skits. More upbeat and fun lyrics rather than rambling on about sex and money. 3/5

Rock Bottom by Robert Wyatt
Apr 16 2026

Maybe this needs more listens, but it was rough and I don’t really want to try harder to appreciate this album. 2/5

Bongo Rock by Incredible Bongo Band
Apr 17 2026

Kinda fun instrumental album. Not sure it needed to be an hour though. 3/5

I kinda liked this. Was very 90’s sounding and had an almost Oasis sound to it. Nothing spectacular, but good overall. 4/5

Marquee Moon by Television
Apr 21 2026

Not bad, just not a lot of variety. 3/5

90 by 808 State
Apr 22 2026

Mostly instrumental electronic music that wasn’t too droning. Not the worst, but still not great. 3/5

Vulnicura by Björk
Apr 23 2026

Just not a fan of Bjork’s singing. Music was ok, just on the weirder side. Vocals were off putting to me. 2/5

Apr 24 2026

Decent album. Nothing super special, but not bad to listen to once. 3/5

Very by Pet Shop Boys
Apr 27 2026

I found this kinda fun. Several songs I’d probably listen to again, but probably not as a whole. 4/5

Ágætis Byrjun by Sigur Rós
Apr 28 2026

Not very exciting nor interesting. Ok to listen to once, but that’s about it. 2/5

Hms Fable by Shack
Apr 29 2026

Decent rock album. 3.5/5

Histoire De Melody Nelson by Serge Gainsbourg
Apr 30 2026

I suppose this would have been better as a concept album when I could understand the lyrics to get the concept. Reading about the story makes the guy a pedophile/groomer going after a teenager. Not really a fan of the music or the concept. 2/5

British Steel by Judas Priest
May 01 2026

Fantastic album. Reminds me a bit of Iron Maiden at times and easy to listen to. 5/5

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
May 04 2026

This f’n guy again… I will say this is better than the other albums he’s had on this list, but still boring as hell. I don’t care for his voice or singing style, but the music itself isn’t terrible. 2/5

Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
May 05 2026

This was… something. Kinda noise at times, kinda interesting at others. Not a fan of the vocals and definitely not one I’d return to. 2/5

I'm Your Man by Leonard Cohen
May 06 2026

Easily the best album by this guy on this list so far, though that isn’t saying much. Decently listenable album that moves along. I didn’t hate it as much as his other stuff. 3/5

461 Ocean Boulevard by Eric Clapton
May 08 2026

Not bad. I liked the guitar work and the rest was decent to listen to. 3.5/5

Clandestino by Manu Chao
May 11 2026

I liked this even though I couldn't understand most of it. Mostly a fun Latin album. 4/5

Rage Against The Machine by Rage Against The Machine
May 12 2026

This slaps hard. Lyrics still relevant today, maybe even more so. 5/5

Leftism by Leftfield
May 14 2026

Not bad for an electronic/house album. Doesn't drone on too much and has some variety. 3/5

Ten by Pearl Jam
May 15 2026

Still not a fan of these guys. There's a few decent songs, but pretty meh on this as a whole. 3/5

Elephant Mountain by The Youngbloods
May 20 2026

Not bad. Pretty chill overall. 3/5

Floodland by Sisters Of Mercy
May 21 2026

I liked this. 4/5

A few good songs, but if you're in the wrong mood, just downright annoying at times. Might listen to a few songs again, but passed on the rest. 2.5/5

GI by Germs
May 26 2026

Ok album. The last song dragged on a bit, but the rest moved along pretty quickly. 3.5/5

Nebraska by Bruce Springsteen
May 27 2026

Very mellow and I like the tone, but it isn't the most exciting Springsteen album. Now really anything I want to listen to again. 3/5

Headquarters by The Monkees
May 28 2026

Sounded a lot like the Beatles and was enjoyable to listen to. 4/5

S&M by Metallica
May 29 2026

Good if you like Metallica. I like the symphonic elements in this live version, but it does contain some of their lesser quality songs and drags on a bit long. Had this only contained songs from their first few albums, it would’ve hit a 5 for me. 4.5/5

I enjoyed most of this. If you like U2, you’ll probably like this but it isn’t anything groundbreaking. 3.5/5

Will The Circle Be Unbroken by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band
Jun 02 2026

This is what I wish country music was. Not really my thing, but the music wasn’t bad. Too much talking and random bs which disrupted the flow and an otherwise decent bluegrass album. Very long, which without the random talking bits, would’ve been more reasonable. 2.5/5

Pretzel Logic by Steely Dan
Jun 03 2026

This was entertaining to listen to. 4/5

Heartbreaker by Ryan Adams
Jun 04 2026

Not bad, but on the slower side. 3/5

Not my thing. Had to skip at least one song due to how annoying it was. 1.5/5

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Jun 10 2026

Decent voice and ok music. I’d probably pass on this one next time though. 2.5/5

Jun 11 2026

Not the worst rap in the world, but not great. I skipped the last half of the last song when it was just 12 minutes of thanking random people and things. 1/5

Jun 12 2026

Not a bad electronic album. Like all electronic albums, they get a bit repetitive after a while. 3/5

Third/Sister Lovers by Big Star
Jun 15 2026

Some decent stuff here. I’d probably listen to this again. 3.5/5

Jun 16 2026

Not bad. Not sure why, but I thought this would be more hardcore or punk, but was way off on that assumption. Mildly entertaining, probably not something I’ll come back to. 3/5

Throwing Muses by Throwing Muses
Jun 17 2026

The music was decent, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the vocals. She has a unique voice, but I don’t think it’s for me. 3/5

The Madcap Laughs by Syd Barrett
Jun 18 2026

This wasn’t bad. Had some Beatles vibes at times. 3/5

Abraxas by Santana
Jun 19 2026

I enjoyed this a lot. 4/5

Opus Dei by Laibach
Jun 22 2026

Kind of reminds me of Rammstein. Not bad overall. 3.5/5

Like A Prayer by Madonna
Jun 23 2026

Poppy album that wasn’t too bad. Liked a few songs, but most of it was fairly generic pop music to me. 3/5

Mr. Tambourine Man by The Byrds
Jun 24 2026

Very enjoyable album to me. Kind of Beatles-esque while having its own feel. I liked this quite a bit. 4/5

Jun 25 2026

I guess this was an ok rap album. It didn’t completely annoy me, but I didn’t enjoy it. Rap isn’t my thing so this just seemed like another rap album. What makes this one special? 2/5

Countdown To Ecstasy by Steely Dan
Jul 08 2026

I enjoyed this, but it felt much longer than it was. 3.5/5

Tanto Tempo by Bebel Gilberto
Jul 10 2026

Most of this was in I’m guessing Portuguese so I couldn’t understand a lot of it, but it was ok music. Decent to listen to, but not incredibly interesting. 3/5

Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
Jul 13 2026

Fantastic! Flowed really well and was thoroughly enjoyable. 5/5

Cupid & Psyche 85 by Scritti Politti
Jul 15 2026

This was ok. Not bad, but not exciting. I’d be fine not listening to this again. 3/5

Get Behind Me Satan by The White Stripes
Jul 16 2026

This was fine. I kind of liked the minimalistic rock sound they have, but it’s not something that really grabbed me and makes me want to come back to it. 3/5

Bert Jansch by Bert Jansch
Jul 17 2026

Didn’t really grab me. Not bad, just not that interesting. 2.5/5

xx by The xx
Jul 23 2026

This was fine. Pretty mellow. 3/5

Under Construction by Missy Elliott
Jul 24 2026

This was absolute garbage. Skipped the first song after a long speech about herself and the album turned into bad rap/hip hop. The next few songs were no better. Stopped after that. Just terrible. 1/5

Arular by M.I.A.
Jul 27 2026

It’s never a good sign when an album opens with a skit. Repetitive and annoying drum machine paired with bad vocals. Couldn’t focus on the lyrics at all so I was just skipping songs until I stopped listening altogether. 1/5

Freak Out! by The Mothers Of Invention
Jul 28 2026

Cream cheese, cream cheese, cream cheese! Wtf was this. Weird and not for me. 2/5

More Specials by The Specials
Jul 29 2026

Not bad. Not what I typically think of as ska, which is probably for the better. 3/5

Is This It by The Strokes
Jul 30 2026

I dig this. 4/5

Doolittle by Pixies
Jul 31 2026

Very enjoyable. Vocals were a bit gruff but worked well with the music. I’d come back for most of this record. 4.5/5

Fantastic! Not a bad song on here. 5/5

Aug 05 2026

Definitely something different. Not for me. 2/5

Moondance by Van Morrison
Aug 06 2026

Not a bad album that was enjoyable, if only a little same throughout. 3.5/5

Let's Get Killed by David Holmes
Aug 07 2026
