Reviews (page 3 of 13)
One of my fav album purchases. I bought this week after it came out from a dodgy bootlegger (it was a legit copy) and he tried to tell me to not get it... so glad to I have ignored him. 'Cooler than a polar bears toenails' is still a regular saying of mine. Forgot how many tracks are on it, and that Killer Mike is on it too. Also, I miss skits. Xplosion with B Real is great - didn't realise he had beef with XXL magazine as well and mentions Eminem...you can hear the harpsichord here which Andre 3000 has on his solo album (Dracula's wedding, another great tune) They need to make another album. It would sell so much I think...better than that flute thing. Beat change on Humble Mumble is quality. ? - is great as well if too short.
iconic
I'd give this a 4.5, because, while it is an outstanding hip-hop album that also brought in so many fresh sounds and had big hits, there are parts of the album and even songs like "Ms. Jackson" where things falter just a little bit and bring the album down a bit for me. However, it's still an outstanding album that shows the strength of Outkast, while they were together.
A lot of hip hop albums suffer from the increased runtime allowed by CDs, and I often can't be arsed, or simply don't have the time, to listen to 1 hour+ albums twice in a day, which I try to do for every album I rate. This is not one of those albums. It's a real tour de force, incorporating so many different elements so masterfully. I was levitating from start to finish. POWER MUSIC, ELECTRIC REVIVAL
Oldie but goldie
Strange, funky, so fresh and so clean. Shout out to Kim and Cookie, maybe my favourite interlude in all of hip hop. Not quite sure how to put it but it's experimentation makes it feel like the hip hop equivalent to Prince's Sign O the Times
Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I love this entire album, not just the hits, but tracks like “Humble Mumble,” “Red Velvet,” and “Gangsta Shit” that really bring it all together. The inventive beats and sharp rhymes make it a timeless, energetic masterpiece.
All thrilla
Not my thing, but I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would, deserves five stars as a superbly well made album with lots of flare and creativity
Ever since starting this project I've been waiting for a OutKast album. Bonafide legends. Stankonia is, to put it simply, an amazing experience. It's the type of album you just don't skip.
I wish we could give albums half stars. This one is a banger, I'm going to round up.
Modern, maximalist classic
This album is fire. Gasoline Dreams, So Fresh, Ms. Jackson, B.O.B all are badass! 1001 album worthy: Absolutely - 37/63
Pretty damn unreal, I do think this is their best… this list generally needs more Gangsta Boo
Great.
All timer.
Classic with fun interludes. The songs also stand alone and are great
A STONE COLD CLASSIC OF HIP HOP.
Love it. Can listen to this on repeat all day
Otroligt bra album. Inte mycket mer att säga än så
Assumptions: Apology time: Let's assume each apology takes 1 second. No breaks: We'll assume continuous apologies without rest. Calculations: Convert to seconds: 1 trillion apologies * 1 second/apology = 1 trillion seconds Convert to years: 1 trillion seconds * 1 minute/60 seconds * 1 hour/60 minutes * 1 day/24 hours * 1 year/365.25 days ≈ 31,688 years Therefore, it would take approximately 31,688 years to apologize a trillion times, assuming the above conditions.
This album is awesome
Great album!
9/10
Great classical album that showed the style of OutKast to do a bit of weird and flamboyant stuff
goodddd
every outkast album stands on its own when it comes to the production side. nothing feels rehashed, everything has a freshness. these guys wear their influences on their sleeves, all while putting their own spin/flavor on it. i’m especially fond of the funk influence that permeates the entire album. dre and big boi deliver another classic
Love this album, I came in thinking this was a 5 and I couldn't find a reason for it not to be. I hate skits & interludes, but these were all quick & painless. I've usually skipped Toliet Tisha, but it's really not a bad song. Stankonia is one of the best hip hop albums of all time, but might not even be the best Outkast album.
I really enjoyed this. I’m only rating the songs and not the skits/dialogue.
It’s eclectic, all over the place, loud, maybe too long and too many features but it’s so good and so important. The sound and the look is unlike anything else that was happening in hip hop at that time. I don’t know that it’s a perfect album for me because I did always have some skips listening to it so I’m giving a 4.5 and rounding up to 5.
4.5 1x so many classics
Yes some of this is a mess and could be better but I have to go with a 5. I can’t imagine hearing this in 2000 given how futuristic some of it sounds at the end of 2024. “B.O.B” is thrilling every time I hear it and “So Fresh So Clean” AND “Ms. Jackson” are iconic. Andre 3000 is an easy top 5 rapper of all time to me and number one on certain days. It is just thrilling to hear what he does when rapping. Big Boi would be the best rapper in almost any other rap duo so this is no critique of him but my God do I wish Andre would put down the damn flute.
A classic. Forever? Forever-ever? Forever-ever? Forever
Definitely a top 3 Outkast album. Has so many great songs on it.
9/10. Yes, I can see that you're so sexy. Gosh, this album is so stunning!!! Albums like these really make me question if I'm truly not a rap fan. There is so much shite cloud rap music that is being released nowadays, so it's wonderful knowing that Outkast has existed (thank goodness they did). Brilliant album!!! :)
I'm writing this as I watch the 2004 Red Sox documentary and it occurs to me that Outkast has a perfect pitching line up: Andre 3000 (Tim Wakefield) throwing knuckleballs and Big Boi (Pedro) closing with heat. Undeniably the best rap duo of all time. A surface level observation is that this is clearly meant to be an ALBUM--which is awesome for this exercise and for 2000 relatively uncommon. So many weird (and maybe too horny) interludes. So Fresh and So Clean, B.O.B, Ms. Jackson are incredible. The variety of beats, instrumentation and melodies makes this stand out from anything else in hip hop. It’s truly a shame Andre hasn’t been recording more music. This isn’t the perfect album for leather arm chairs or roadtrip…but give me a weed filled basement and some pong and there’s nothing I’d rather listen to.
I don't know much about rap, but I do remember hearing 'ms jackson' for the first time in like 5th-6th grade and it being one of the first rap songs I ever liked, while also feeling SCANDALIZED that it was about having a baby out of wedlock (I'm from Massachusetts). Fast forward a few years to high school, I have a distinct memory of this song coming on my iPod shuffle in my Honda Element during a week or so period when my girlfriend was 'late' and I thought I might become a teen dad - even in the moment it made me laugh. Anyway, these days, I usually only listen to rap either in a party setting or if I wanna feel menacing/dangerous rolling around the suburbs after dropping the kids off at daycare - rarely to feel 'moved' or more connected w the human experience. But Ms. Jackson tells a whole, relatable story, with these fully drawn out characters going through such a common thing. A whole album of that would be tiring, so luckily we don't get that. The rest of the album is a blast, with so much creativity not only in the songs and lyrics, but the delivery too, the pronunciations, the little odd flourishes that fit perfectly w the emotion theyre expressing and make this feel so full of life (e.g forever, forever ever? forEVER EVER?) Rapheads will disagree I'm sure - but I think IN GENERAL rap is one of the less creative kinds of music, relying so much on sampling, established hooks from better songs, and a million rappers riffing on like three basic themes over and over and over. But this album is not like that at all. Songs like Bombs over Baghdad and I'll Call before I Come are bursting with playfulness and creativity. They arent limited by trying to be cool or macho. They remind me a little bit of Funkadelic, with the overflowing creativity, which is ironic since they don't sample them incessantly like so many mediocre 90s-2000s rappers did.
so fresh
I always felt that Speakerboxx / Love Below is Outkast's magnum opus. But listening to them both many years later as part of this list, I actually might like this album better. Absolutely fantastic.
sometimes the best outkast album
almost a quarter of a century after it's release, this has easily earned "classic" status in hip hop circles. the story behind it is well-known: after three albums which helped open the door for Atlanta and the wider hip hop scene in the South, OutKast bought their own studio and, with their newfound recording freedom, sought to make something much more eclectic and experimental than anything they had done before. there's a case to be made that this is the duo's finest work, especially since nearly all of their tinkering and flirtations with a wide variety of styles comes together really well. highlights for me include "B.O.B.", which features the duo rapping at lightspeed over chaotic drum 'n' bass chops, with some incredible gospel vocals towards the back end; "Snappin' & Trappin'", which has the album's strangest drum pocket and very little in the way of harmonic or melodic information, but all the verses are hard as nails, especially from Killer Mike, who makes his recording debut here; "Humble Mumble", which evolves from an infectious salsa-tinged number to a driving club banger; and the first proper track on the album, "Gasoline Dreams", which borders on a rap-rock sound and immediately fires me up for the rest of the songs that follow. plus, "Ms. Jackson" and "So Fresh, So Clean" are, of course, generational bops. there's a couple weaker links here, mainly the skits and interludes. I also don't rock with "Toilet Tisha" that hard. but even with that being said, this is very often my favorite OutKast album. it's very hard to choose between this and ATLiens! lots of artists have had their shot at a more "eclectic" album, but few nailed it the way Big Boi and André 3000 did here. decent 9/10.
Classsicccc hip hop man. Real early 2000’s southern rap at its peak. Outlast just knew how to put together complete projects. It was good to hear a young Killer Mike and Gangsta Boo (RIP 🕊️). Stacks and Big Boi will always deserve the praise they get because it’s been 24 years and this album doesn’t sound dated, I could see it being released with in the last decade honestly. You can hear where some current artists were inspired by it, like a Tyler or a Smino. Brilliant project all around!
Maybe the best to ever do it. A
24 years later it still sounds inventive.
Fantastic album. If you were old enough to remember the 90's and were into urban music then you would probably remember this was ground-breaking. Outkast has a very unique sound.
Outkast is really amazing and creates something that is so different yet pulls on themes from rap, R&B, jazz, blues that traditionally work well together and mesh with deep electronic/techno techniques. Is it a little vulgar, sure but its also building on musical themes and so different and unique, yet so consumable. They also look at some deep political and social themes in a really intelligent and well done manner. This album is really a story and builds upon itself, bringing a cohesion but also allowing for songs like Ms. Jackson and B.O.B. to stand on their own. I also think its amazing how two individuals with such different approaches to music styling mesh so well together. I would love to be a fly on the wall of their creative sessions to see how they create their music.
Love this album so much! I was familiar with a lot of it, but if I've heard the whole thing at some point, it's been a very long time. Anyway, Andre and Big Boi are both awesome, and they jive so well together. This album is creative and catchy and diverse in sound and topics and feels like such a complete piece of art. Bombs Over Baghdad has been one of fave songs for years. Special shout-out to the Kim & Cookie Interlude, cracks me up. So much talent in these guys!! There should be a special category for albums that are 6/5.
yes
Not what i'd usually listen to but i like it.
Fantastic. Better than their 90s output imo but before their egos took over st the end of the band’s life. I like this more than most rap I hear because it is more interesting to me musically. Not as formulaic. I also think this still sounds fresh nearly 25 years later. A great listen.
Favorite songs: Gasoline Dreams, B.O.B.
In the running for my favorite hip hop album of all time. And yet I'm not even sure it's my favorite outkast album. Just an incredible record by a legendary group.
Legend of an album
One of the first albums I ever bought. I must have listened to it a thousand times. An all time favourite.
Great album, a little harder edged than the rest of their catalog. The singles are all jams though.
Instant 5. Maybe my favorite album from Outkast, though that really is a tough question. This one's got so many classic hits that I've been in love with for as long as I can remember: "Ms. Jackson," "B.O.B.," and "So Fresh So Clean" are the titans, but seriously the depth beyond that is excellent too. Was struck this time around by "?" because Andre's flows are just dizzying. These guys aren't just two of the best rappers from the South, they're two of the best rappers ever. The only critique I can give this is a generic "cut the skits" request, but that's the nature of this era of hip hop, and frankly these skits are a LOT better than some other albums (looking at you, Ready to Die). Anyway, I'm gushing, I'm a bigtime Outkast fan, and this is one of my favorites from them for sure. To be honest, after hearing Speakerboxxx/Love Below again on this list too, I'm learning it's harder and harder to say what's their best. Favorite tracks: Ms. Jackson, B.O.B., Gasoline Dreams, Xplosion, ?, We Luv Deez Hoes, So Fresh So Clean, Snappin & Trappin, Spaghetti Junction, I'll Call Before I Come, Humble Mumble, Gangsta Shit, Toilet Tisha. Album art: Iconic, undeniably so. Andre and Big Boi standing in front of a black and white American flag. Immediately memorable, recognizable. One of the great album covers ever, I dare say. No idea where it would rank, but it's on the list. 5/5

A lot of peoples favorite choice for most underrated rapper is Andre 3000 to the point where he isn’t really underrated anymore. I’d argue his counterpart Big Boi is way more underrated at this point. This album has everything. One of the best rap albums of all time. God I love OutKast. So nostalgic. Still amazing today
I mean so fresh and so clean; and all the interludes. Took me black. Classic hip hop
unbelievable album that still holds up as incredibly creative and thoughtful - you can see the precursor to miami bass, the triplet flow, phonk music, and so many other influences in here. The creativity and thoughtful is clear throughout.
Outkast är tveklöst topp 10 bästa hip-hop-akterna (kanske t om topp 5) och även om jag nog håller ATLiens och Aquemini något högre än denna, som är mer experimentell och nyskapande än föregångarna, så är det en solklar femma.
Easy 5 star album! The first few songs alone make it an all timer, but every beat works by itself, the Killer Mike feature, the amount of funk… just phenomenal all round
Forgot how good this whole album here. Less of a fan of the interludes between songs, but I know those are classics of the genre. Still will mostly skip those
Well, it isn't my favorite Outkast album but it is the best one of the 2000's! Plenty of good tracks, a couple of hits, and a few misses. Love Outkast and would almost forgive them any missteps as they have tried, consistently, to reinvent what they are and can bring to the people. Really great album that I wish I could put at a 4.4.
Man, the last 3 songs could’ve been left off this album and it would be even better. Still enough for a 5. Even the skits are good.
OutKast once again proves they are on the Mt. Rushmore of hip hop. Unique sounds that push the genre.
So peak, Cheeky 5 stars there.
A great sound at its peak. Love the talent here. OutKast are effortlessly cool, nice change of pace from some others I’ve gotten recently. Doesn’t overstay it’s welcome even after an hour.
This album is fantastic from one of the best discographies in music. Every Outkast album is a 5 to me, but I think Stankonia or ATLiens are my favourites. The eclectic beat choices, the lyrical themes ranging from commentary on racial and social issues, to war, to stank hoes, this album doesn't miss. Spaghetti Junction, Humble Mumble, So Fresh, So Clean, We Luv Deez Hoez, and Red Velvet (GOAT Outkast song imo) are the best on this album, but every track is exceptional. Great feature list too, including Killer Mike, Erykah Badu, and Cee-Lo. The only gripe I have with the album are the interludes. There are too many, and though there are some okay ones, they generally add nothing. At the very least, they are separate tracks that aren't tacked on to the end or start of any of the actual songs, so you can just skip them. I really love this album, and I doubt that there has been a day that I haven't listened to at least a few tracks from this album since I first heard it when I was like 6. Shout out the Dungeon Family.
It's genuinely impressive how this album stays so varied given how long it is. 1 Hour and 13 minutes including the interludes and yet I don't think I ever thought to myself that the album was feeling samey at any point. The quality of the beats are pretty top notch throughout. And Andre/Big Boi are incredible throughout. I've already spoken about the variety in this album but it's cool how for how different the style and delivery of the vocals is between songs it's still unmistakably them. Where I have some issues with the album are with some of the feature tracks. There are a lot of them and they range from being pretty good such as the opening Gasoline Dreams or Humble Mumble, to several that started to feel closer to being filler. Which does not feel necessary given the runtime of the album already. The interludes also bite into this a little bit but none ever go on past a minute and they are not baked into the songs so they can be easily skipped. I feel a little more inclined to give this a generous 9/10 or light 5 than push this to a 4 though. Highlights Red Velvet, B.O.B, Ms. Jackson, Gasoline Dreams, Humble Mumble, So Fresh So Clean, Stanklove
Seven light years below sea level we go. Welcome to Stankonia. its fucking outkast. he opens the album with a comedy bit where that got some chick moaning in the studio like she's recording ASMR Dommy Goth Girlfriend Loves Tells You How To Please Her [8 HOURS] [BINAURAL BEATS TO MAKE YOU BUST]. is there really any hip hop artist with as much character and energy as outkast? others might have done trve hvp hvp better but outkast does outkast the best, and noone else does outkast. this is an artist i struggle to describe because none of the airy fairy adjectives i use to pad out the other reviews really apply here. each song has it's own profile, from an almost dmx-like aggressiveness on gasoline dreams with a fucking wwe ass guitar riff banging throughout, to the rnb smoothness of so fresh so clean that somehow keeps its own style with some of the best rapping rhythm and flow on the album. straight into ms jackson. how do you even make such a good, heartfelt track about fuckin ya baby mama and leavin her a single mom with a paycheck. dude was fr an absent father and turned it into one of seminal tracks of the era. snapp and trappin has the title of a memphis rap diss track but it has the beat of a captain murphy track. good ass beats to glorp and gleep to. i was going to go through every track but theres so many and i got bored of typing. instead i'll just talk about BOB which is kind of funny because you might think 'oh shit was outkast aware of how fucked up iraq was??' no he just heard that shit on the news and threw it into the chorus of a song about how fucked up the hood and it's culture was at the time. truly inspired. also theres a song called We Luv Deez Hoes and another just called ? and i feel like that needed a mention. also the interludes are legitimately funny, and this isn't even a comedy album. goddamn. edit: relistening ? is like a clppng song. wth. outkast so clean so swag.
Love this album.
Much more even than Speakerboxxx. Also love how all the skits end in a clap and "BREAK"
Creative and super catchy. Didn't know what to expect with each song which is cool.
Goated.
Love this album! This really is/was the peak of hip hop. Of course there is Ms Jackson on this record but also many other great songs that might not be well known.
They just don't do interludes like this anymore. Smash
The variety on this album makes it's long runtime worth it. The songs flow seamlessly into each other. Massively talented people at the top of their game.
4.5★. It took 88 albums (including non-new albums) but I finally got to a new-listen 5-star. I had previously heard and loved several songs from OutKast, both on their own and partly sampling some of their albums, including Ms. Jackson and So Fresh, So Clean. Still, I wasn't expecting a 73-minutes of practically wall-to-wall bangers album, with no skips to speak of (not counting interludes obviously, which are short enough to never be a bother anyway).
Creative, bombastic and definitely a must listen hip hop record. B.O.B., Gasoline Dreams, So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson and those are just the stand out solo tracks. Spaghetti Junction, Red Velvet, I'll Call B4 I Cum, Toilet Tisha and ? are also all interesting. Still has their weird personalities but definitely ups their rapping, production value and general songwriting from other records which were already good like ATLiens or Aquemini.
i love this album and i enjoyed getting to listen to it again
I mean come on
OutKast’s “Stankonia” is a groundbreaking album that not only redefined hip hop but also became a personal touchstone for me. Having had the incredible opportunity to work at Stankonia Studios alongside many of the creators of this album, I can say that its significance transcends mere musical achievement; it’s a deeply personal experience. When “Stankonia” was released, its innovative approach to hip hop was immediately apparent. While “Aquemini” had already pushed boundaries, “Stankonia” took this experimental spirit to new heights, fueled by the freedom and creativity afforded by the newly purchased studio. The album's embrace of emerging technology, particularly the shift from tape to ProTools, was emblematic of the era's evolving soundscape. This technological evolution is captured in Warren Bletcher aka Dub’s interlude, where he says “They say a computer can do my job better than I can damn do it.” There was a harsh truth in this comedic skit. For me, this album was a revelation. It was the first time I heard elements similar to those I was experimenting with at home incorporated into a major studio release. This connection between my own budding production work and the cutting-edge sounds of “Stankonia” provided a sense of hope and possibility. Little did I know that this hope would materialize into reality, as I eventually found myself working with artists I once admired from afar. The stories and experiences shared by those who worked on “Stankonia” have deepened my appreciation for the album. Each listen now brings back vivid memories of walking the halls of Stankonia Studios, with the scent of purple and the taste of yak almost palpable in the music. OutKast’s “Stankonia” is not just a reflection of Atlanta’s vibrant culture but also a cherished part of my own journey in music.
We're bouncing... We're bouncing! This was the perfect album for me to revisit today as I was cruisin' in the ATL. When this came out, it was clear Andre 3000 and Big Boi were indeed some of the coolest muthafunkers on the planet. They brought a creativity and southern flair that really stood out against the rest. If they say that a compruter can do your job better than you can damn do, or if he got hiiiis but you ain't get yourrrrs....Whatever you're going through, even today, almost 25 years later, this will help you take your mind off things and entertain ya. Humble Mumble slaps even more than I remembered, and Tisha's mama made me get all emotional in the YDFM parking lot. Lots of classic gems here from ATL's hometown heroes.
I was a late comer to the OutKast party. I remember hearing about them around 1997. It was my Danish friend who got me to appreciate them a lot more. This is a landmark type album. You really hear the jump in creativity and skill from Atliens and Southernplaylistic which were already great albums. I feel like Stankonia really set the bar high for hip hop when it came out and there was just nothing that sounded like it. Stankonia sounds like they took a lot of time to sit down and think out each song. Music, lyrics, all the sounds are really well done. A lot of great songs on this but my favorite is Spaghetti Junction. On a side note, I met Andre 3000 somewhere around 2002 or so. He walked into the studio that my band at the time was recording in. I remember he was wearing a marching band jacket and a Jimi Hendrix shirt. He looked like he'd landed from another planet.
Masterpiece. Absolutely Beautiful Album; Perfect.
Literally every OutKast album should be on this list man. I don't think there's been a group so consistent, so forward-thinking, so integral to a single genre. You can't talk about southern hip hop, or even hip hop in general, without talking about OutKast. Stankonia should be in museums or something. Not only are Big Boi and Andre 3000 on their A-game, but they got an all-star lineup of features: Killer Mike, Gangsta Boo (RIP), Erykah Badu, and Cee-Lo Green, to name a few. You need only listen to B.O.B. to understand how truly great OutKast is. I will not be allowing any disrespect.
Ah, what a blast. Great album. Never gets old, such a classic. So diverse, yet it still gels. Highlights for me are Andre and Big Boi’s lyrical flow, they compliment each other and both keep up with the bombastic hooks and rhythms, the second highlight. There’s just so much going on with the production, it keeps you engaged. Solid end to end. I’d say this may be my favorite of their run of classic albums before they broke up. I’ll never forget the 1995 The Source Awards where the East Coast vs West Coast hip-hop battles were all in the culture, but as OutKast won their award, Andre stepped to the mic and feeling like other regional areas were being disregarded in the hip-hop world, alerted everyone that “the South got something to say.” Famous words that hip-hop heads never forgot because OutKast went on to create several masterpieces including Stankonia that delivered. Everyone noticed, as Atlanta became famous for its importance in developing the next era of iconic rappers, all pretty much giving props to OutKast, deservedly so.
What a fun record! It's full of life and joy, it's ambitious and original, and pays homage to Black greatness in a way that makes it live and never mummified. Amazing talent.
Excellent
BL: This is an album I’ve listened through before. It was part of my dads CD collection which I delved into when I first started listening to music properly around age 12. It has been a long time since I’ve listened to this so I will see how it has evolved in the near decade since. AL: this album still rocks. All of the P-funk influence throughout is absolutely what holds it down. It is fair to say that without this the rise of rappers embracing this style of integrating funk and older black music into their beats would not have happened in the same way. There are some tracks which definitely attracted my attention which I’d never really thought about before, “Toilet Tisha” specifically stood out as an amazing track which had slipped under my radar before. The features are amazing, the performances from both are amazing, this remains one of the strongest hip-hop records of all time for me. FT: “Gasoline Dreams”, “Ms. Jackson”, “B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad)”, “We Luv Deez Hoes”, “Toilet Tisha” 5/5
Those guys know how to write a tune!! Big Boi and Andre 3000 are such a great artistic match - I hope they keep making music together forever!!! Best Track: B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad) Worst Track: I'll Call B4 I Cum
I already received "Speakerboxx/The Love Below" on this list and while that may be OutKast's most commercially successful album, I think "Stankonia" better represents who OutKast is and their artistic evolution at the time. Those familiar with OutKast's previous work know that they were more laid-back with a strong funk influence (like most other hip-hop acts from the south), but here in "Stankonia" the tempo is noticeably cranked up and draws a wider array of influences with psychedelic rock, funk, and soul. "B.O.B." is probably the best representative of this if you're handpicking one track from this vast album. Its frantic flow, drum and bass inspired rhythms, guitar break, and the gospel-like chants of "power music, electric revival" near the end make for one hell of a five minute track. "B.O.B." is the song I hear when I think of "Stankonia". Others likely know "So Fresh, So Clean" and "Ms. Jackson" from the radio, and both are also iconic songs in their own right. The rest of the album is pretty broad and introspective in its subject matter and definitely worth closer listens. I never care for interludes in hip-hop albums, but the ones included here don't overstay their welcome too much and flow well into the proceeding tracks. I did end up scanning ahead on the 1001 albums list and it's a shame that no other OutKast albums are going to appear for me after this. I firmly believe that any of their first three albums are worthy of inclusions as each one has a signature sound whilst staying true to their southern/ATL hip-hop roots. But even if artists were limited to one album only on this list, "Stankonia" would take the cake for best representing OutKast in my opinion. A strong, "stank"y 9.5/10 for me.
Banger Album
funky
Height of their powers
God I fucking love Outkast. They made 5 (or 6 if you count Speakerboxxx/The Love Below seperately) ice cold classics in a row. That is insane. This album in particular is filled to the brim with great choruses and even better verses. The beats are incredible too. But the best part is the song structure. What other rap song are you going to hear a guitar solo, DJ solo, and chant reprise power ending all after an explosive verse chorus energy burst. These guys are geniuses
Was skeptical at first but ended up loving it. Even the intermissions grew on me. B. O. B. Was my favorite
Great album overall. Standout songs: Snappin and Trappin Xplosion Gangsta Shit
I struggled with this album. I truly loved ATLiens and Aquemini. Those two are some of my favourite albums of all time. For some reason, I didn’t get down with this album when it came out. The ubiquity of Ms. Jackson at the fin de siècle bordered on inescapability. Combine this with shifting personal tastes towards electronic music, and I wasn’t on board. This is an exceptional album that signals a permanent shift in the history of hip hop. The nineties were dominated by blingy, braggadocio, gangsta hip hop from the East and West coasts. The dominance of this album was the harbinger of the expansion of hip hop and encourages me to research more about this history. Rappers like Scarface of Geto Boys hall of fame were from the south, and those who knew, knew. Elitist/gatekeeper/aesthetic… Howver, Ludacris, Kanye, Eminem, may have ‘Kast to thank for the expansion of hip hop inclusivity. I was late to the party, but this is an exceptional album. The notion of using their success to lift obscure, local talent to the international stage while experimenting so much sonically was a high-risk, high-reward gambit. This is another album I thank this concept (1001 albums) amd Geoff for.
Production: 5/5 Lyricism: 5/5 Sound: 5/5 Enjoyment: 5/5 ITS PEAK Overall: 5/5
I like Outkast, they got me into hip hop, but I'd never actually listened to this album outside the singles which was a mistake because this is heavily influenced by some of my favorite artists (Prince, George Clinton and his crews, Hendrix, etc). It's all over the place in the best ways, easy 5/5.
This came out my junior year of college. Highly anticipated. Lots of after parties where this album was played. BOB was on my running playlist for years. I fucking love OutKast and this is probably their best. I may say that about all of them
Alright, it's time for OutKast! I've already heard "Ms. Jackson" and "B.O.B. - Bombs Over Baghdad" before listening to this album, which I'll say right now are personal highlights. Going into Stankonia proper, this takes the funk foundation of acts like Prince and Parliament-Funkadelic and builds upon it with a lot of techno and hip-hop experimentation to bring the sound to the start of the new millennium. Andre 3000 and Big Boi share some fun, tongue-in-cheek lyrics with dashes of forward-thinking verses in between, all delivered on top of some exquisite production courtesy of Mr. DJ. It was even fun with the sound diving into funk metal adjacent territory with "B.O.B." and "Gasoline Dreams". Come to think of it, there are a lot of guest artists that bring their A-game here, including B-Real of Cypress Hill on "X-Plosion", Erykah Badu on "Humble Mumble", Cee-Lo Green on "Slum Beautiful", and a very hungry Killer Mike on "Snappin' & Trappin'". If I had to nitpick, while I'm cool with the interludes, there are a lot of them; roughly a third of the album's tracklisting. That said though, they're short, don't overstay their welcome, and it's admittedly funny that they end each with the crew shouting "BREAK". Overall, I had a fun time visiting Stankonia. Give it a chance.
Women, amirite?
Amazing, best one ive gotten so far
Stankonia is the fourth OutKast album, and may be their most critically and commercially successful. The album contains two the pair's most popular songs - "So Fresh, So Clean," and "Ms. Jackson." With those pop hits, OutKast demonstrated the widespread appeal of their version of hip-hop. This is melodic, funky, danceable hip-hop, showing a range of influences. The rap elements are harmonic and rhythmic, and the pace reflects the electronic music of the era. This is an incredible collection of songs of amazing range, pushing many to list Stankonia as one of the best albums in hip-hop, and perhaps even modern music.
Super duper good. I feel like I say I'm not a huge hiphop/rap girly but re-evaluating and I think that's false n based on what I usually hear out and about, which is what my brother listens to or stuff on the radio that's not really up my alley.
Really awesome! I could see where a lot of stuff was influenced by this, EG Kanye sampling the forever ever lyric on Diamonds from Sierra Leone. 9/10
OutKast is one of my favorite groups of all time in any genre. Pretty sad aquemini didn’t make this list, but I love stankonia and I’m glad it showed up even though I feel like it’s way more hit or miss than some of their other stuff.
So fresh, so clean.
They were so unbelievably good. Cool guests (killer mike! - this album would be a 10 out of five if they included his other feature on their greatest work: the whole world), rip gangsta boo (memphis shit), ceelo ( I imagine this is the closest we'll get to a goodie mob appearance on this list, but what do y'all even know about the dirty south anyway?). Anyway even the sketches are somewhat interesting and don't overstay their welcome. Great production. Great rapping. Good advice, like being careful about taking your hoe to the cheesecake factory. It's a good album, but gets a 5 just for BOB. And of course not the advice we want, but that we all need: don't pull the thang out, unless you plan to bang. Bob your head!
4.5/5
It's pretty wild that humanity has existed for thousands of years, and we're fortunate enough to exist at the same time as both Big Boi and Andre 3000
Uno de los mejores álbumes de hip hop de todos los tiempos
Yeah, inslumnational underground Thunder pounds, when I stomp the ground (woo) Like a million elephants or silverback orangutans You can't stop a train Who wants some? Don't come unprepared I'll be there, but when I leave there Better be a household name Weatherman tellin' us it ain't gon' rain So now we sittin' in a droptop, soakin' wet In a silk suit tryin' not to sweat Hittin' somersaults without the net But this'll be the year that we won't forget, the 1-9-9-9 Anno Domini, anything goes Be what you want to be, long as you know Consequences are given for living the fence is Too high to jump in jail, too low to dig I might just touch hell, hot
Stone cold classic hip-hop album. Feels way ahead of it's time.
25 years old and still fantastic
Absolute classic. Experimental, clean, and still relevant today
Expansive and vibrant. Endlessly interesting with plenty of variety.
My favorite OutKast album. Compared to Aquemini and ATLiens, this sounds more aggressive and contains bigger production and more unique instrumentation - it sounds like a "2000s album" and not a "90s album".
So much fun, an all time classic hip hop record and the hits are absolutely huge.
idk why i've never listened to this album in full, it's a masterpiece there's no way that people aren't talking about it more.
I’m willing to make the argument that OutKast are the greatest musical duo of all time, rivaled only by the likes of Daft Punk and Simon & Garfunkel. The ability of these two alone is more than most rappers can claim to have, but together they were a duo unlike any other. By 1998, they had released a solid debut and two incredible follow-ups that basically defined the sound of southern experimental and abstract hip-hop moving forward. Stankonia is slightly different. They wanted to create an album featuring a much more unique variety of sounds. I think in many ways they accomplished this task. What it ultimately led to is some of the most creative sounding production work they ever had on a record. And this album is far less one-note than their previous work. Much more funk and rock influence is present. It’s also said that this is where André began to take a more melodic approach to his songwriting style, which wasn’t exactly what the others were looking for. But I don’t think it held them back in any way. Without that approach, we would have never gotten a song like Ms. Jackson, which has easily one of the most iconic choruses of any hip-hop song ever. André 3000 and Big Boi are just such incredibly sharp and charismatic lyricists and songwriters, and they have some of the greatest chemistry I’ve ever heard out of any artists who have come together like this. B.O.B. is genuinely one of the most blood-pumping and electric songs I’ve ever heard in my life. It might be a common complaint for many, but I don’t feel as if this album is too bloated. It’s literally only slighter longer than Aquemini, it just has more songs. Mostly because of the interludes. Which I don’t hate at all. They all sort of sound like snippets from an episode of The Boondocks to me. And I appreciate that they all end with both MC’s saying, “Break!” It actually ends up giving a lot of continuity to the album and makes them feel way more seamless instead of just mostly unrelated skits. I can’t say for sure whether or not this is definitively the duo’s best album, but it is undoubtedly an amazing one, and just continues to highlight their excellence. Rating: 9/10
One of the best rap albums in my opinion
Absolutely fantastic album. There was a clear theme throughout and you could tell that they were operating at 100% in their writing and producer. Definitely a unique and innovative sound that still fit within the rap genre but dared to venture into some new sound territory. So Fresh and So Clean is the best. Gasoline Dreams and We Luv Deez Hoez are also great.
BOMBS OVER BADGAD B
Stankonia is fantastic. The hits are absolute bangers that never get old- Gasoline Dreams, So Fresh So Clean, Ms Jackson, BOB in particular - any 1 of them songs would be the high point for most rap albums. It's full of other great stuff too, there is always something of interest in every track and this brings influences from all kinds of different places, from funk/jazz to drum 'n' bass. I read on Wiki that they didn't listen to any hip-hop while writing this, and it shows. Classic
Y'know, I should be saying more about the album as a whole instead of talking about only one song, 'cuz as far as it's concerned it's probably the best rap album my group has gotten so far. The beats, the flows, the lyrics... It's all great and unique in that OutKast/ATL kind of way. But for my money, all I wanna do is gush about my favorite track, "B.O.B.". Simply, it's the hypest damn track I've ever damn heard. It's a rush, and hearing it in the context of the full album for the first time, I legit had to take a second to reorient myself. It's like I was skating along, and then this song burst in out of nowhere and I had to quickly scramble to get myself back on track. It's amazing, and so enjoyable to shout along to "BOMBS OVER BAGHDAAAAAAD" and "POW. ER. MU. SIC, E-LEC-TRIC RE-VI-VAL." Sure, maybe a couple of the lyrics are... Too unique that might be... Like, a little bad? Mostly I'm thinkin' of Big Boi's verse here when I say that, but I can hardly care. There's so much energy it carries me over all of that, and makes it just another lyric that I try to keep up with as I rap along with it. And the beat, THE BEAT. I've only heard this album one-and-a-half times, so maybe I could change my mind, but it's the best one. Kinda beat you get up and lose your damn mind to. Seriously, I can just imagine concerts where the moment it starts everyone's already turned the floor into a giant pit, y'know? It's just incredible. And I know from this review it might sound like I'm giving this album a 5 based just on one song, but, first of all, what a song it is. Secondly, I mean, a lot of this uniqueness, freshness and energy carries over to the rest of it, even if none of it's at the same tempo. It holds up insanely well even 20+ years later and the whole package is absolutely worth your time. STANKLOOOOOOOVE
Stanky as can be.
I’m at a 4.5 that I think I can round up to a 5. I think the vast majority of this album is incredibly strong, all the way up until Gangsta Shit, and even through Toilet Tisha, but I think the album kinda limps to the finish line after that. I only knew the 3 big tracks going into this listen (So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson, and B.O.B.), but there’s so many good tracks here; Spaghetti Junction, Humble Mumble, and Gangsta Shit are all standouts to me, and almost everything else before Gangsta Shit is still pretty damn good. I do wish this ended on a stronger note, but regardless of the final 2 main tracks falling short for me, I think so much of this album does so many things so right, in terms of flow, lyricism, and great beats that I’d be kinda criminal to not give it a 5.
Surprisingly awesome. Outlast who were legend before their debut album back in Atlanta show in this debut why the hype for them. An amazing album from a genere I dont really indulge in. I can honestly say ots one of the best rap albums Ive heard and even thou it was a little long and with to many intros outros interludes they somehow work to help the flow and coherence of the album. Assuming C-Lo Green was the producer he shows a unique style and approach to general rap and builds an album that breaks barriers of the rap culture cult. The tracks are funky and you dont know what to expect from song to song which makes it great. Big Boi can rap and Andre 3000 is a gangsta he can flow slow and sometimes quick showing a range not many had recorded at the time. Being a real complete artists and musician his falsettos and aporoach to mix hardcore rap and experimental rap with his towns distinctive sound makes this an unorecedented and top rap album of all time.
One of my top favourite rap artists, I love how OutKast pushed the experimental tracks on this album. At the time it was out of this world for hip hop and still holds up.
Top hiphop album, sjovt og alvorligt på samme tid
Just an amazing album. Love the Killer Mike and B Real tunes. Sorry Miss Jackson and So Fresh are all timers. Easy 5 here
Love it!!
Crazy, wildly, and sprawlingly good. So many worthy ingredients – funk, rock soul, R&B; Sly, Clinton, Prince, Isaac Hayes. The tempos and textures are terrific. The interludes aren't compelling, necessarily, but do provide a break from all the excellence. "So Fresh, So Clean," "Mrs. Jackson" "BOB" and closting title track are all first rate. Hip-hop's Radiohead seems about right to this indie rock fan.
One of the best! I love this album. Super unique with sounds, fusions, beats. I love the mix of silliness + socially conscious lyrics. They never take themselves too seriously, while they're breaking down very serious issues. I also love the elements of soul and psych. One minute they're singing and flowing, and then next minute they're spitting lightning fast.
very glad I listened to this album through! aside from the singles, there are little hidden gems all over this album. the music production sounds great, varied rhythms brought the excitement level up and back down ... who am i kidding, i would give this album a 5 for B.O.B. alone.
This album is worth the listen. And then do it again and again. My favorite by OutKast and one of my favorites on this generator list so far.
Great Album, a little too many interludes that wouldn't make the playlist, but they moved the album along well in context.
This was such a different hip-hop album and OutKast was always a very cool and different hip-hop group. I really like this album in college and I feel like it still holds up today. Very creative songs and beats. 5/5.
Love me some Outkast! The generator recommended Speakerboxxx/The Love Below a few days ago - I can appreciate the difference with this earlier album. Great stuff! Favorite tracks: - Gasoline Dreams - So Fresh, So Clean - Ms. Jackson - Spaghetti Junction - B.O.B. - Bombs Over Baghdad - Humble Mumble - Gangsta Sh*t - Slum Beautiful - Stankonia
cool
Si
One of my favorite albums.
One of my favorite hip hop records, even if it suffers from the late-90s trope of unnecessary skits as tracks.
My favorite Outkast album. Favorite track: Gasoline Dreams
slaps
Favorite Tracks: B.O.B. - Bombs Over Baghdad Ms. Jackson So Fresh, So Clean
Classic album. Full of bangers. The balance between Big Boi and Andre shines so bright. At first I wasn't a fan of the skits, but I do think it brings something to the album.
Absolute classic. A dozen different sounds, all time beats and loops. You will dance, bop your head, and just rock or cool out to this album.
own
Classic
I mean Ms. Jackson already puts this at a 5 but the entire project is phenomenal
Já tinha escutado. Absoluto clássico. Envolvente até o final - álbum de história, de continuidade.
2/2 STANK
Right. My review on one the most important and pioneering albums of all time? Yeah it is pretty goddamn good.
So many classics on this album. Reminds me of closing time at Kream N’ Kone. The owners would put on 90s/00s hip hop to get the tourists to leave and make cleaning more fun.
This album absolutely slaps and has aged so well. I’m nodding my head the whole time, but the energy with which I’m nodding shifts between tracks so effortlessly, with all credit going to Big Boi and Andre 3000. The the hip hop duo put such flow into this album that makes it an absolute top tier for me, and certainly supports the case for OutKast to be considered among the best hip hop acts ever. Fave songs: So Fresh So Clean Ms Jackson Spaghetti Junction B.O.B. Humble Mumble
Andre 3000 and big boi know how to put together some fire shit. Killa Mike on this? Rip gangsta boo
This album is very excellent!!!!!!!!! Faves: Ms.Jackson, I’ll Call B4 I Cum, Kim & Cookie, We Luv Deez Hoez, Drinkin Again, Stankonia
Rap and hip hop music were pretty much not allowed in our house when I was growing up, but I remember being vaguely aware of a couple of songs on this album when I was in high school. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below came out right after I graduated, and I had much more exposure to the singles off that album than Stankonia. After that, Outkast was pretty much off my radar for several years. But in 2011, Big Boi was playing at a local music festival, and my brother had recently seen him in concert and said that he was fantastic. I watched Big Boi's set, not expecting him to throw some Outkast songs into the mix, but he did, and that wound up igniting my interest in this album, which I bought shortly afterwards (I'm 99% sure this was the first hip hop album I owned). I listened to this album all the way through after buying it, and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. At the time, I don't think I was aware of how critically acclaimed it was, and just how important it was for southern hip hop. Today was my first time revisiting the whole album, and I had high hopes that I would still think very highly of it. I really thought this album would be an easy five star for me, and I thought the same thing about Speakerboxxx/The Love Below when I rated it several weeks ago. Stankonia passes the five-star test for me, but just by the skin of its teeth. The parts of this album that I loved, I really loved: the experimental and varied sounds that are still grounded in southern hip hop, Big Boi’s rapping, and the social commentary in the lyrics. This album also has some great individual songs on it, with “B.O.B.” being my favorite one. I love its high-speed tempo, the screeching guitars and organ, and the gospel vocal outro. The song feels like a funk song on speed and LSD, and I love every minute of it. “Miss Jackson” and “So Fresh and So Clean” are fantastic too; they’re both insanely catchy and fun. “Gasoline Dreams,” “Red Velvet,” and “Xplosion” were the best songs on this album that weren’t singles, with “Red Velvet” being my favorite of the bunch. Stankonia is pretty long, but to me, it never felt like it dragged on, which is not the case for Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The biggest weakness that Stankonia has is that I feel like it doesn’t utilize the talents of its guests very well. “Humble Mumble” needed more Erykah Badu, and “Slum Beautiful” needed more Cee-Lo, which I can’t believe I’m saying, because Cee-Lo sucks, but I would have liked more of his vocals. Still, I think this is a really good album overall. It has fantastic beats and musical elements, it has an incredibly experimental sound that stays true to its southern roots, and it has fantastic lyrics and rapping. I’m glad I finally revisited this album in its entirety.
the national anthems of Atlanta <3. This one bumped. Perfect for my powerpoint making grindset marathon
Futuristic funk blasted, soulful, rappity ass rap music, probably not my favorite OutKast album as I kinda prefer the youthful energy of their debut and the liquid soul beauty of Aquemini, but damn this shit sounds like it’s in another league compared to a lot of rap albums from this time period and the hits are titanic. Naturally I have to ding this for being the length of a short feature film and having a bunch of pointless, useless interludes, but that was the fashion at the time. Otherwise though I feel like this holds up and helped continue to set a standard that I don’t think many if not any outside of maybe [Kendrick Lamar] have reached.
Best OutKast album. Outside my normal genre but still iconic.
so fresh. AND so clean
This is a fantastic album filled with hits. Andre Benjamin AKA Possum Aloysius Jenkins is a goddamned lyrical genius. In an era dominated by gangsta rap (and OutKast gives you a little of that), Andre 3000 was usually way left of center. Even when he did dip his toes in the gangsta pool, his lyrics are written with a thoughtfulness and poetry only seen amongst the all time greats. I’d give this one a 4.5 if I could. There are a few songs that I think are kind of filler and the album is too long as a result.
One of the real standouts in the class of 2000 rap golden age, this album is overflowing with musical ideas, huge hooks, kick-ass cameos, hilarious verses, and unstopable energy. Like the rap Prince, Outkast is a sponge steeped in American music from soul and funk to rock and hip hop to disco and house. Electrocute that sponge until it squeezes out an album and you get Stankonia, an eclectic and thrillingly produced 75 minutes (dear year 2000, you don't need to fill up the damn cd!) of otherworldly beats and Atlien rhymes.
I'm always skeptical of albums that are over an hour long, especially when they tip into the 70 minute territory. But some of my favorite albums are pretty damn long, so it's not really an indication of quality on its own. If it's a good album, then you're in for a treat. If it's not good, it'll be agonizing. A just-okay album can crater to a bad album when its runtime is too long. All this to say that Stankonia is absolutely packed with heaters, bangers, and jams, and sometimes a long runtime is a good thing actually, because it means there's more of those. Highlights: Gasoline Dreams, Ms. Jackson, Snappin' & Trappin', Spaghetti Junction, I'll Call B4 I Cum, B.O.B., Humble Mumble, ?, Gangsta Shit
really really good, honestly i loved how it starts out, the whole album is kinda funky and cool
Beats are best in genre. Unfortunately the skits are still dumb
YESSS HIP-HOP. Yesterday I didn't get what I wanted and this must be what I want right now. Have been into this genre more and more lately and OutKast must be make me fullfil sonically and lyrically. First song, it's a non-verbal intro, nevermind Spotify doesn't have the lyrics. He's talking, but in an alien way. Rocky Horror Show vibes with that girl moaning iykyk. Two men asking me to bounce rn. Second song, oooh a transition. Saying alright scratched my brain. Theeee energy is veery infective. The fast fast rapping is the best here. Chorus is quite catchy too. I silent rapped with them, not to speak over them. I love their style, plus there'll always be two rapping so the diversity is wider. Third song, interlude already. A woman saying it's cold, and breathing, feels like an asmr. She's cool now. Fourth song, another transition I suppose. Ooooooo the lyrical delivery of that chorus is too good. Best part that is for now. Third verse is the best one, the voice is different in a good way. Watching the video and it must make this vibe even better. Fifth song, was this a transition too idk. This is one of their most known songs. Chorus is the best part because it's nostalgic, but the flow is too good to ignore. The video of this one is also what I call a full experience. Can't talk much because this is too good to be just sittin writin stuff. Sixth song, what was that womp womp start. God it came back. The delivery of the chorus is amazing. After the half of the song, they're rap talking to each other, fuuun. Sean Paul like rapping now. This sounds like experimental hip-hop at some points. 7th song, interlude. Sounds like something is being announced by him. 8th song, oooh bossy start. One of the best choruses again. Can't they much about the rapping, the flow is just unstoppable and I really want to just rap along with it. The whispering junction is so good. 9th song, jazzyness came in with the interlude. This woman is talking a lot here, wonder who she is. Just checked the lyrics to this masterpiece humour cause Spotify has no lyrics and this was funny asf, didn't know I'd add interlude to the liked songs, the background voices made it even better, her accent and the way she eats some words is so unfamiliar to me, better be more like these here. 10th song, the name of the song is already funny. Ohh thought I wouldn't say much, but didn't know the girl would join the rap, made this even better because it's a different vibe. The chorus delivery is something else btw. Dunno who eco is. Also I think 10th song is connected to the 9th one, but different perspectives, but not like literally connected(interlude already means they're connected but still. 11th song, what a staaart biiitch. The flow is flowing flawlessly. 5 minutes of this is so long but can't wait to know whether it's actually unstoppable rapping. Forgot to say that most songs are very good sonically too. The music videos are low CGI but not that it matters. Children are screaming the song tittle. Why is the rest if the song straight up daft punk vibed. love the outro, which is weird because it should be repetitive but it aint. 12th song, a lot of unknown rappers(for me) they have invited for the album turns out. Chorus is not as good here, so rapping is better, oooh especially that second verse. EMINEM MENTIONEDD, FIRST TIME HEARING HIS NAME ON OTHER RECORDS, others are mentioned too, but this one was lyrically interesting. There was a woman at the end. 13th song, Spanish vibes with a Spanish girl I think, it's an interlude tho, so not much information or fun. 14th song, forget to talk about the song. The chorus delivery is the best part, especially the fake haha laugh and then saying the song tittle in a too funny way is what I didn't know I needed. The wa-wa-wa was used before as the beat. Long ass outro slowly fading away. 15th song, ERYKAH BADU?! Haven't heard of her as a feature on other's songs. I think she's singing the chorus with him, but she must have a verse too. THAT BEAT CHANGE, GOD. Finally BADUU, she's basically rapping, best thing she could have done here. He's just talking at the end. And the outro is long asf. Shushing me now umm. 16th song, annoyed by the fact that computer can do a better job than him, plus a girl left him, I think that was it. A lot of interludes makes the album less stretched to be honest. 17th song, Andre 3000? Spotify says he's gonna rap, but where's the feature. FAST ASF HE IS. Drink is poured, some childish toy sounds, oh also this one is short, but not an interlude. 18th song, they mentioned themselves for the first time I think. The fuck a woman is rapping but I see no feature, is this because of Spotify. This didn't hook me to be honest, one of the worst ones for me as a first listener. 19th song, funny asf I can't with them anymore. 20th song, they became so serious in this one in a second. love the chorus already. Spelled their name and referenced their fresh and clean song. Oh they spelling all the artists they featuring here. TMO raps differently, wouldn't say it's better tho. Naah Slimm's verse is by far the best. 2pac mentioned. Slimm had the best delivery I repeat. 21th song, it's giving ATL hip-hop. Ooh this is the first almost R/B song from them, the beat and the nonrap makes me say that to be exact. Didn't expect this kind of song from them, slow asf. Ooh rap came in, but it's still ATL vibed. 22th song, they changed the album vibe with these songs, this is more expected from them but it's still slower than what they had before. I don't like this one, even the rap part is not as amusing as it should be. A-capella at the end. 23th song, interlude, he just asked her to marry her, girl only has two words in her vocabulary, but the thing is he wants to be safe so after dicorce financial agreement he suggested and girl was confused. Might be a reference to smth dunno why I explained it tbh. 24th song, I'm telling ya they changed the album drastically, and I love that but if this was the whole vibe I'd not like it. Also 7 fucking minutes. It's giving Childish Gambino. It's romantic in a way, the beat and the vibe in general. Love that the end of the album has a different way of ending, which is basically swapping the genres fully. Long ass outro, don't know what I'm expecting. The silence is giving Korn. Oh nevermind Barry White like voice came in. Everything came back but nothing verbal(I think). Shit just realised that song has an album name. He moaned? If so, I guess best way to end it all. Must be obvious already but this is a 5 star album, well in general a 5 star should have all the songs the best, but I think I just need to get to know them, and I mean the few last songs. Basically I love how they rap, energise and make theee catchiest choruses I've heard for a while in hip-hop.
Essential hip hop album, easily my favorite in the genre. Favorite song: B.O.B Least favorite song: Snappin’ & Trappin’ No skip album?: Yes Would listen to again?: Absolutely
Pure excellence. I love that Aaron mills played bass.
Listening anyway, but the stories, music, and rhymes on this album were the sounds of my high school years. Dre's musical prowess with Big Boi's lyrical craft make this album just as amazing today as when it was released 24 years ago. 5/5!
this album is pretty great. outkast are some of my favorite rappers and i think this album is one of their pinnacles in terms of rap, flow, and beats. the skits i could take or leave, they don't do much for me but i know skits and rap albums go hand in hand so it doesn't bother me much. some of the songs are a little less than stellar, but the really great stuff massively outweighs them.
LOVED IT!!
Five stars, one of if not the best Outkast albums, banger after banger
x+4.5+x+4+5+3.5+x+4.5+x+4.5+5+5+x+4.5+5+x+x+5+x+4.5+4.5+5+x+4.5 4.6/5 Lots of variety, great songs across. So many cool ideas, rhythm, samples, synths, lyrics, its all really great. Favs: Ms. Jackson, B.O.B, Red Velvet, X-plosion, Humble mumble, Slum Beautiful
Love this album, sounds like Middle School dances. I'm pretty sure Ms Jackson and So Fresh, So Clean were two of the first songs I downloaded on Napster. So many different styles and sounds here. Andres' cadence is flawless. And in reading about the album, learned he plays keys and guitar on various tracks. Never knew that, always assumed music was sampled. It's cool to know they are composing and performing in addition to the rapping. Side note on Spotify play counts: some of the interludes have as low as 1500 plays. I've listened to this album start to finish at least 10 times. Does that really mean that I make up ~1% of the people who've listened straight through?
An unrelenting, unstoppable collection of mega-bangers. You could cut a few songs and a few skits and it would be even better, but if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Yea
There’s a lot going on in this album. And it’s all good.
Excellence in rap music right here. Favorite track: B.O.B.
Outkast's answer to Funkadelic. Frontloaded with hits/instant classics while the back end's deeper cuts deliver on the wonderful weirdness that could only come from the mind of Andre 3000. Having listened to Aquemeni, ATLiens, and Speakerboxx/Love Below, this album only reasserts that I'm never going to get over the rapid-fire and syncopated flows Big Boi has on any given Outkast project.
LETS GOOOOO. I love this album!!! This is the first time I recognized an album!
Stands the test of time
This is so unfair because this Album is one of my personal favorites already!
Now this is an album I have been meaning to listen to all the way through. Obviously know the bangers and singles but nothing more and respect Outkast as artists.
Infectious hip hop - classic
Paar erg goede klappers die ik gelijk aan m'n hip hop classics heb kunnen toevoegen. Goede funky stanky beats
This album is an absolute banger! Recognized many songs but had never listened to the entire album. Not necessarily a big OutKast fan, but this album has now been added to my regular rotation. Looking forward to more!

There are a few weak points in here but overall its some of the best music of the turn of the millennium
I lived all the singles from this as they were released and I remember eagerly awaiting the album...it didn't disappoint! Still sounds great and as fresh as it did back then.
Album of my childhood. One banger after the next. I happen to be a big fan of Big Boi. The working relationship with Andre 3000 creates music magic.
This is the first OutKast album I listened to in its entirety. Overall, it’s a really unique, yet enjoyable listen. It’s apparent that the album is influenced by 70’s/80’s funk with influences being Parliament Funkadelic, etc. This sound comes out in songs such as Toilet Tisha, I’ll Call B4 I Cum (Love Gangsta Boo’s flow on this track), and Slum Beautiful. It’s rooted in an older sound but also packaged for the time it was released. Furthermore, hits like So Fresh, So Clean and Ms. Jackson are on this project. I like this project a lot and would definitely revisit.
I mean, come on
This is a certified hood classic, peak andre
Amo a OutKast, mis primeros recuerdos vinculados a la música están ligados a este álbum y aunque no es un álbum perfecto (losskitsaveces), lo es para mí!!
Stankonia is such a great album. Outkast blew it out of the water with this one, and I remember so many people that weren't rap or hiphop fans get into it because of this album.
I was 16 when the great wave of 2000 hit Atlanta. Everyone, from teenagers in the suburbs to fucking OutKast was doing the same lsd. It seemed that way. They had to be to create the perfect soundtrack to the time and place. This album is engrained in my being. I’m sent through time as soon as I hear “I’m bouncing!” Break!
I believe in stankonia supremacy. That is all.
YES! Love this album! Solid classic that encouraged me to follow the separate careers of both Big Boi and Andre 3000 after Outkast broke up. ATL represent!
hell yeah, 5 stars
The music is funk and the story is kinda sad lol
Bangers from start to finish only briefly interrupted by goofy interludes. The singles lead the way with my personal favorite being "B.O.B." instead of the more famous "Ms. Jackson" and "So Fresh, So Clean" but there are underrated tracks throughout: "Gasoline Dreams" and "Humble Mumble" being the best of the rest. Hip-hop mastery with infectious hooks, driving beats, clever lyrics, impressive clean production. Creative and takes hip hop to new places and the singles are arguably early examples of rap becoming mainstream.
luv it
All time classic
Turns out I have a bunch of nostalgic affection for this album - I guess my house mate around 2000 played it a bunch. Also heard "Ms. Jackson" a whole load on the radio at one of my first office jobs post graduation. It's a testament to how good that song is that overexposure didn't sour me on it. There are quite a few skits, but most of them serve more like song intros and don't totally derail the flow of the album... Fave tracks - "Gasoline Dreams", "Ms. Jackson", the one two punch of "B.O.B." and "Xplosion".
Amazing rap album. Big Boi brings the traditional great rap on this album, while Andre 3000 adds uniqueness. ‘Mrs. Jackson’, ‘B.O.B.’, I could go on. Easy 5.
STANKYY 🦉 🐼 ⛽️
Great
Peak
ATLiens and the Dirty South at their finest.
Yes please André3000 heeft goeie flow So Fresh, so clean is so smooth
This album is fun, interesting, and generally pretty great.
Exceptional hip hop album, one of the greats Top tracks: Gasoline Dreams, So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson, B.O.B. - Bombs Over Baghdad
Wow, what an album. It’s gonna take a few listens, but the creativity and musicality here with the banger of sorry Ms. Jackson is niceeee 👌🏽👌🏽
One of those albums that is hard to disentangle from a period in my life. It might not be perfect, and it might not even be their best album but it still gets a 5.
The Grammy's are bullshit for lots of reasons, but giving Outkast's weakest double LP an award over their outstanding run of back to back albums is definitely up there. ATLiens, Aquemini and then Stankonia - it's an insane, seriously genius run. This could have been 'Bombs Over Baghdad' on repeat for 57 minutes and I'd still probably have given it 4 stars. You throw in 'Gasoline Dreams,' 'Humble Mumble' 'So Fresh & So Clean' and there's just no argument.
Stankonia is a move in a poppier direction, but doesn't sacrifice the bars or experimentation. The production is lush, the hooks are funky, the wordplay is as clever as ever, and Outkast still has things to say and stories to tell. It doesn't feel as laser focused as their previous couple albums, but you probably won't notice as you bob along to the beat. *Heard before.
Listened Before? Yes All aboard the Stankonia Express, the funky engine that could! I'll welcome any excuse to re-listen to this album. This was my introduction to Outkast (in a proper sense) and I remember playing this end over end for the better part of a week straight. There's something here for everyone. Straight rippers: CHECK (Gasoline Dreams, B.O.B, Xplosion), Funky singalongs: CHECK (So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson, Red Velvet), Dirty south: CHECK (Gangsta Shit, Snappin' & Trappin'), Great skits: CHECK (I'm Cool, Humble Mumble (intro)), and whatever the fuck "?" classifies as. And somehow this is still slotted firmly as their third best album. This is a dense and thick album weighing in at 73 minutes, and yet the variation and pure capability keep this from ever feeling like a slog. I don't think I could ever tire of hearing Andre and Big Boi flow off of each other. Also the production and beat selection is on point. I still find myself quoting the intro to Humble Mumble and the "we're bouncing" bit from the intro to this day. I could write all day to this album, but alas, I need to work. Easy 5 / 5 for me. Added to Library? Yes (already there) Songs Added to Playlists: - So Fresh, So Clean (Des Approved, Sunny-vibes, Skate Mix) - Xplosion (Skate Mix)
Outkast is so good from their production, beats, flow between Big Boi and Andre, and their ability to bend genres. Love this album it had been years since I’ve listened to it and it was a refreshing listen that makes me want to blast down another Outkast phase. 4.5 but rounding up. Only knock is it’s a little long but still was an easy listen. Give us another OutKast album or tour please!!!!
Fantastic
Stanky.
Classic
outkast goated
superb album.
The album still sounds as fantastic now as when it released. Sure, it's a touch long, but when the only real criticism I have is that there's a bit too much of something I start sounding like my missus.
I didn’t know this, wasn’t even sure what genre it is, but of course Ms Jackson which is still in my head 24 years on. Hip hop interestingly from Atlanta and not East Coast or West Coast - Southern hip hop. Much more than a rap LP though, soul. Ms. Jackson sounds amazing so much better than I remember it. Stunning production. André 3000 & Big Boi share the rapping. The instrumentals are rich and varied, a range of genres. Lots of Prince sounds & techniques in here, but more modern. The vocals I don’t like so much, that relatively high pitch delivery but it does set them apart. ‘BOB’ is a standout I’d never heard this although it was a single. The whole LP is quality, full of ideas, freshness & energy, it’s uplifting hip hop funk & soul not gangster rap. André 3000 was a vegan. Big Boi is a big fan of Kate Bush. 73 minutes long 24 tracks, the double LP length is justified by the range of genres and ideas. The LP ends in yet another genre psychedelia. A great find, this is what this project is all about. Too much to take in on first listen. This is a rare 5 star rating on first listen I need more of this
SO FRESH, SO CLEAN REMAINS A CERTIFIED BOP. OMG and ms. jackson is on this album??? That's crazy actually this is hit filled. Ok I finished now. This was really superb. It worked not just as individual songs/skits, but as a cohesive unit. Tracks 4 and 5 are still the ones that stand out the most, but the whole thing was a great listen!!!
The first few outkast songs I heard were on this album, as was the first time I heard Killer Mike and Ceelo Green. As is often the case with hip-hop albums, there is a fair bit of filler, and too many interludes, but they work in context and don't dilute the genius. Some of these songs will live forever (ever)
Good album
Classic.
This was the first Outkast album I owned...and it's probably my favorite as well. BOB blew my mind the first time I heard it and it still just sounds so unique. So Fresh & So Clean and Ms. Jackson are some of their best big hits and the album is full of great deep cuts as well.
A classic Southern Hip Hop album. There are so many good tracks!
I don't think I've ever listened to this album straight through ever, despite knowing I really really should have. An absolute masterpiece of hip hop. So many great features, and incredible production. Could do with less interludes, but that was how rap albums of the era were so I can live with it. Stand out tracks: So Fresh, So Clean, Ms. Jackson, BOB, Xplosion, Red Velvet
Classic, but still a step below Aquemini / ATLiens. Could do with some trimming (Call Before I Come, all the skits) but there's loads of OutKast's best work on here.
I’ve always heard this album described as a masterpiece, and I’m not sure I can disagree. I knew a bunch of songs already, of course, but the ones I didn’t know are also really also blew me away.
Yes, I am bouncing. Thank you. This is probably my most listened to album since I first heard it in middle school. And that includes like, every album I’ve ever listened to. It was absolutely my introduction to hip hop. You have something really special on your hands when you’re able to use it as an entry point to a genre of music, while still having it be the GOAT in that genre. I had an old family friend who’s kid went to the same school as Andre 3000’s. She used to talk about how he would wait in the car pick up line with the other parents for school to end. He drove a Mitsubishi. They chatted about their kids a few times. I always liked the idea of Andre just being a normal dad, waiting for his kid in a modest car. Anyway, want to get more into hip hop but aren’t sure where to start? Here’s your Abbey Road.
I want to shout out OutKast’s three 5-star records preceding Stankonia (Southernplayalisticcadillacmuzick, ATLiens, and Aquemini—all of which SHOULD be on this list) and extend a heartfelt “Stank You” to one of my all-time favorite musical acts for this forever, ever masterwork.
An old classic, not sure it’s my favourite OutKast album but deserves the 5
Really good. Didn’t realize a lot of the songs I’m familiar with came from here
Mind-blowing production and a pioneering style, the two most famous tracks following each other is a treat too.
Tracks of Note: -Gasoline Dreams -Ms Jackson -Stankonia -So Fresh So Clean -I’ll Call B4 I Cum -We Luv Deez Hoes -Slum Beautiful
Vibrant collection of sounds. Each beat has so much character and layers on layers so that even the most laid back tracks have a million little things to catch hidden in the mix. The beats sound like they were thrifted how each fit is completely original. Choruses are so memorable and just like the beats, very versatile. Lots of sexy soul, lots of aggressive rap. All perfectly matched with the themes of the song. These guys have a knack for creating a concept for a song and sticking to it in every aspect. Insanely fun and full of character. This album is wild
A classic from one of my favorite artists that only trails off a bit at the end of a 75 minute run.
YES
"Stankonia" is the fourth studio by American hip hop duo OutKast. Outkast is André 3000 (André Benjamin) and Big Boi (Antwan Patton). The music is expansive incorporating funk, rave music, pyschedelia, gospel and rock into hip hop. The subject matters include sexuality, politics, misogyny and African American culture. The album was produced by Earthtone III (Outkast and Mr. DJ) and Organized Noise. Commercially, the album debuted at #1 in the US and critically had universal acclaim. "Intro" kicks off the album with a guy talking about going to Stankonia where all good things come from. Random city noise samples. This transitions into "Gasoline Dreams." Heavy guitar in the forefront and background. A slower beat. He's assailing the "bling" aspirations of the contemporary black culture. The third single "So Fresh, So Clean" is softer and dreamy. This sounds like it's right out the early 90' west coast hip hop (Dre and Snoop). The background synth give "Ms. Jackson" a chill vibe. This song was dedicated to the Mother of a Mother of a child born out of wedlock. A music box begins "B.O.B." It then kicks in hard with guitar, organs and a beat. This is intense and it keeps speeding up. There's female gospel backing vocals. "B.O.B." is Bombs over Baghdad and about music industry people going halfway. "Humble Humble" has layered rapping including Erykah Badu. Scratching...the drums kick in..it's speeds up and is funky. "Toliet Tisha" continues the varied second half of this album. Spacey guitars...a funky bass..synth lasers and a synth loop. Very R&B and funk. The album closes with "Stankonia (Stanklove)." Soulful. Gospel. A pyschedelic guitar. An appropriate ending. There is a lot of positive things going on with album. It's laid back at times. It's also very busy at times. The interludes between songs add character and comedy. This album has a certain flow to it. Some of these songs, I would put in the R&B/pop or pyschedelic genres and not hip hop. The one thing is that it sounds both fresh and futuristic even today. It is long and a lot to get through but a high recommendation.
A classic. So many great hits that capture a moment in time but are also timeless. It’s relevant, intelligent and whimsical. Defined who OutKast was and who they will always be.
Iconic and classic. Atlanta hip hop at its best.
Absolute masterpiece.
Ms Jackson herself is worth 5 stars.
De GOATS, zag liever atliens of aquemini in de lijst, maar so be it! Andre 3000 is top 3 rappers voor mij. Easy 5
Heard before: yes Forever, ever? Like a seafood boil, this record is a bunch of delicious food just tossed on the table, all mixed up with each other, flavors everywhere. It’s internally contradictory, endlessly fascinating, and FUN FUN FUN! Even the skits are good! It’s just so easy and unforced - the rapping is all over the place: some is rapid fire, some is minimal, some funky, some melodic, some nonsense, some progressive, even some thoughtless machismo. Often all in the same song; it’s all out there bouncing off each other. Similarly, the music is a summary everything we knew about groove in 2000; a pupu platter of funk. I’m pretty happy I referred to both food and poopoo in this review. I think my work here is done. Top tracks: B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad), So Fresh So Clean, Gasoline Dreams
goat! Favorite: ALL OF IT! 5
This is definitely in the conversation for top 10 hip hop albums of all time.
This might be OutKast’s best album. These guys put southern rap on the map, or at least introduced it to millions on the coasts which have traditionally held a monopoly on hip hop. This album is dense with musical references spanning classic R&B and funk to modern electronic sounds. What I always love about OutKast is that they are absolutely unafraid of being unconventional. The result here is a sprawling album that confronts social issues and creates a new world based on black excellence. Truly visionary, and an absolute pleasure to listen to.
I really wish that Outkast made more music. I’ve yet to hear anything bad by them. Around the age of 16, I came across the Ms Jackson music video and loved it (shout out to the owl). After that I listened to this album a fair bit. Songs I already knew: all (to a degree) Favourites: Ms Jackson, So Fresh So Clean, Humble Mumble If anything, I think I enjoyed this album more today than I did when I was younger. André 3000 has such a unique inflection with his rapping that makes him instantly recognisable, and Big Boi’s deeper tones contrast perfectly. Perhaps nostalgia can be blamed, or otherwise it is a testimony to the lyrics, but I even enjoys the more sex-related songs that would otherwise make me cringe.
There's something for everyone here. Radio friendly poppy hooks interspersed with traditional hip hop bravado and social commentary. Great top to bottom.
Just about as 5 as a 5 can get. Bursting with creativity. The ONLY record over an hour long so far in this project that earns its length and doesn't feel exhausting.
Ms. Jackson truly timeless song. 4,5/5
I like this album a bit better than the one from yesterday, it’s got some catchy songs. I’ll definitely be revisiting this album. 5/5
It's banger after banger. Production, bars and flows so tight throughout. Feels big but intimate, full of charm, plenty of range and depth in the tracks to prevent the long runtime from dragging. Even today this still sound fresh and weird and experimental. Fav Track: Snappin and Trappin 4.5/5
Even while nitpicking it’s hard to find too many faults in this record. Brilliant flow, production, and chemistry. Huge achievement and just shows how these two are just the best of the best. Four and a half. Fave track: B.O.B.
🐐🐐
I remember 12 year old me seeing the ms Jackson video on MTV and then going to Woolworths to buy this album. Re listening 20 years on this feels like a true hip hop masterpiece.
It seems like Outkast fans fall into two categories: those who think *Aquemini* is their magnum opus, and those who would rather vote for *Stankonia*. The first was surely the most groundbreaking one, but the famous hits are on the second. With stellar tracks such as "So Fresh, So Clean", " Ms.Jackson" and "Bombs Over Baghdad", the album is worth your time, aven with lengthier deep cuts and interludes (a flaw many rap albums--including masterpieces--shared at the time). And if "Hey Ya" had been on that record, instead of the weird double-solo album that saw the duet officially part ways later on, you can bet your boots that *Stankonia* would have been the magnum opus. Well, why choose? I think there's enough room in my own list for *both* LPs... Number of albums left to review: 498 Number of albums from the list I find relevant enough to be mandatory listens: 238 (including this one) Albums from the list I *might* include in mine later on: 114 Albums from the list I will certainly *not* include in mine (many others are more essential to me): 147
I think I might have listened to Bombs Over Baghdad 10,000 times in my life. An all time classic album.
I love outkast and ive only heard some songs never a whole album and i was soooo happy when i got this and it lived up and exceeded what i thought it would be every song is different, unique and feels like im a frog at a nightclub in the sky shilling out on clouds. So many classics and underappreciated songs on this album
Really good !
Amazing!
This album still feels fresh more than 20 years later. It leverages the sonic palette of the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, while setting the tone for the rest of the 00s. Some problematic lyrics (looking at you “So Fresh and So Clean”). But no album I’ve heard so seamlessly blends earnest philosophical musings (“Humble Mumble”) with an epicurean embrace of sexuality (“Stankonia”).
one of the best rap albums of all time, and the reason rappers cite andre as the best to ever do it. always technically perfect, really thought-provoking lyrics (and some hits), but the real standout here is the melodies — nobody had done it before, and it took until kid cudi before anyone would do it again. any album that predicts music a decade in the future while also staying listenable deserves a 5.
Hell yeah
HL: "B.O.B.", "Ms. Jackson", "Gangsta Sh*t", "So Fresh, So Clean", "Toilet Tisha" I'm not here to argue that S/TLB is a better album (I gave that 5 stars). Maybe the biggest drawback to the album-a-day thing is that some albums deserve time to digest, and my opinions on several tracks/interludes on Stankonia aren't fully formed because I was still reeling from the song before it. Probably was the most tuned in during the first 5 songs & the last 5 songs. Definitely worth a relisten in the near future. "B.O.B." continues to be my favourite Outkast song, bar none (not that I've listened to the other four albums yet) June 11, 2023
If I gave Speakerboxxx/The Love Below a 5/5 this is a 6/5. It's off the charts how good the album is. The singles "B.O.B." and "Ms. Jackson" is still played frequently in my house.
LOVE this album. So many bangers. It was a massive part of my youth too. These two crazies who rap really fast. They’re funky and sorta futuristic. Funny too. Yep, just a massive yep.
Dope
One of my favorite albums, ever!
This album is just nonstop grooves, which can make it surprising when you dive into the serious lyrical content on some of the tracks. There’s a lot in here. Ms. Jackson might be one of the stickiest, catchiest choruses ever. Looking back, Ms. Jackson was just a sign of the massive hits to come on OutKast’s next album. Favorite tracks: B.OB.; Ms, Jackson; Red Velvet; So Fresh So Clean; Stankonia; Toilet Tisha. 5/5.
BRO HWO COULD I MISS STANKONIA WHAT WHAT WHATTTTTT IM SO SORRY OUTKAST I LOVE YOU 6 STARS
Rating: 10/10
This is a fantastic album that absolutely deserves its place on this list. Rich, dynamic, and just seriously fun! I would put it below Miseducation of Lauryn Hill on my favorite hip hop albums of all time list, but just below. This was so innovative and the singles haven't gotten tired! Just good stuff.
Stankonia is, without question, Outkast at the absolute peak of their powers. Rather than come down from the mountainous high of the stupendously spectacular and envelope pushing Aquemini, Daddy Fat Sacks and 3 Stacks decided that it was for the best if they reached the Moon, Saturn, Mars, Venus and everywhere in between. Draping the black and white flag that was raised and fluttered in every corner that they approached, Outkast not only dismantled the boundaries that constricted hip-hop (if they hadn't already) but extended their outreach ever farther in unexplored and tantalizing areas (if that hadn't happened already). As a result, we were treated to one of the greatest albums in hip-hop, one of the greatest albums of the 21st Century and one of the greatest albums period. Some may wince at its bloated appearance and its breakneck pace and they may do without two or three songs and skits but that's just part of the charm. Gotta take it as it comes. I was happy when I did. Stank you, Outkast, stank you smelly much.
Easy 5 stars. The definition of 90s hip hop albums. The skits! . Still awesome, but im enjoying this more now I'm older. The slow jams connected with me more, and the messages in the songs were coming through strong. Awesome album.
So fresh. So clean.
очень даже ничего приятненькоо и расслабленно
Twas good
