Great album with lots of classics.
I just don’t get her.
Dancing OK song
Four smash hits
A masterpiece that still holds up after 50 years.
Can’t find this album. Links to a single and spotify is a compilation album. Why I give it a 1.
Classic alternative album. Set REM on the path to stardom.
American Girl and Breakdown are the highlights
Killer Queen is the highlight
I am not sure why anyone needs to listen to this album. Not my thing.
The only reason I give it a 3 is because of Thom Yorke on The Mess We’re In.
Why?
Changes is the highlight. Great if you are Black Sabbath fan but just OK for the rest.
Worst James Bond soundtrack ever.
ATLiens and the Dirty South at their finest.
Burn On is a classic from the Major League Soundtrack. Many classic standards
Great debut album. You either love them or hate them but regardless this is a great collection of songs.
Spiders, that is it.
In fairness, two of my all time favorite songs are on this album, Wasted Time and The Last Resort. This album is an American masterpiece and yes I am biased towards this album.
I had heard of them before but had never listened to them. Now I never will again.
Many of these songs stand up on their own but listening to The Wall from start to finish just solidifies this as a musical masterpiece.
I wanted to hate but it didn’t. Surprisingly decent Brit pop album
Two Cocteau Twins albums in the first 200? What did I do to deserve this????
Yeah…….nope
Some love hate them, some love them. I like them but whether it is love, hate or like this is an incredible album.
Delightful album.
I have come to the conclusion that all of the punk music coming out of England during this time period all sounds the same. Ugh.
Loudest band I have ever heard live. In my opinion the best metal/industrial album ever. Not a huge fan of this type of music but I love this album.
Pretty such you need to be tripping on shrooms for any of this to make sense.
Love it or hate it. Get it or think it is garbage. If you were a teenage boy in 1983 you probably love this album as I do. I think it is a masterpiece piece but this pretty much defines my middle school and high school years.
Well, there is a reason that 99.9% of the US has never heard of Robert Wyatt and I wish I was still in the majority.
The only jazz album I have ever bought. You can’t help but feeling good listening to this album.
Interesting concept album. Much better than I thought it would be. Dark but enjoyable listening.
This one suprised me in a good way
Not for me….
You don’t have to hate music to like this album but it helps.
You don’t have to hate music to like this album but it helps.
I am sure this is considered to be very masterful music but it just ain’t my jam.
One star because she is a superstar. Another star because she is hot. 2 stars, that is all.
Que diable
I am sure this is great music but…….
We all know Diddy had Biggie killed and he robbed us of more of this.
I don’t get it. Even after reading about the album it escapes me.
Irritating
In some alternate universe this album is a masterpiece. Fortunately we are not in that universe.
Syd with Pink Floyd, thumbs up. Syd solo, thumbs down.
Hmm OK
Avant garde does not equal good……
My Antonia with Dave Matthews is the highlight
What is home without love, the original Gold Digger 😂
God this was awful.
Surprised at this one. Gotta love Norse metal!
Surprised at this album.
Why oh why?
Strangely, I really enjoyed this album.
Western Sky and Firefly and the highlights to me. Not on Apple Music or Spotify
The album that brought rap/hiphop to the burbs….
Another Kate Bush….geez…..ugh…..
My inner feminist has been touched. Now in a time capsule heading back to Lilith Fair.
Not for me.
Very listenable album
I loved this album as a college student in 1991. I was a DJ at WVGS, Georgia Southern, and this CD was in a stack of new releases, I gave it a listen and feel in love with the album. This album kicked off my love of alternative British bands.
Nope
It’s Ella, it’s Gershwin, it’s terrible!
Sounds like a recording of Icelandic whales in distress.
Meh, I just don’t get Dylan.
Oddly satisfying. I had never encountered the genre of horror/scifi rap.
Slovekia metal, uh, no
As I progress through the list the less tolerant of shit like this I become.
Insert ‘Faceplanr Emoji’ here.
In my last 17 albums I have had 7 albums rated as a 1 and then I get this, ugh, make them stop.
Pablo Honey, Radiohead’s freshman album was an OK album with a smash hit. The leap the band made to their sophomore album was unbelievable. What a masterpiece. This album solidified their place a band
Yawn, boring…..
40 minutes of alternative magic.
Johnny’s love letter to life. Also one of Rick Rubin’s finest works.
😳
It is like a musical with a musical
What a dumpster fire!
After the first M.I.A. album I was hoping she would remain missing in action but alas she reappeared like my heat rash this summer 🤦♂️
I don’t give many 1’s but nothing about this album was even listenable. Hot garbage.
Oddly satisfying
Historically I understood why this album on the list but it is almost unlistenable..
Classic voice but all the songs sound the same.
I felt like I was at a massage parlor with the Stranger Things soundtrack playing in the background.
WTF. It is like Neil Diamond is singing a parody album of show tunes. Terrible show tunes to boot.
First one in 732 I could not finish. Having to go to YouTube and it just being awful was too much. WTF!
Classic Americana album.
My favorite album, by my favorite band of all time. What a masterpiece!
An album for those easily triggered and need safe spaces.
If you grew up in the South in the 70s and 80s you completely understand this concept album. Having grown up in Georgia this album nails the duality of the Southern Thang. It is a Southern rock masterpiece by one of the most influential southern rock bands of my generation.
