Reviews (page 14 of 14)

90% of this album sounded like it was trying to be one long Sex Pistols song. I thought the driving, attacking, instrumentation kept energy high throughout the album. Although there was zero evolution or exploration of musical ideas beyond power chords and simple progressions. The short track lengths gave the listener continual hope for the introduction of a new idea, but instead resulted in a continual bombardment of general monotony and complacency. The band relies too heavily on the general popularity of the punk aesthetic and the simplistic "whinge-ing" of the lyrics and vocal delivery, while in the end achieving nothing. 2/5

I feel bad giving this a two, but all the songs blended together and it got boring. Despite being very short, each song didn't feel like two minutes. Maybe I'd like a different Ramones album more. My favourite song was Blitzkrieg Bop.

I have mixed feelings about this album. It's fast, it's punchy, it's wildly influential, it's innovative, it's capital-P Punk... but it's also the same song 14 times over. It's decent.

Just beats you over the head.

3 chords, loud and all the songs are the same. I guess thats punk rock

BAANAANAS

Outside of Blitzkrieg Bop, which is a fun track (albeit one I don’t like enough to regularly listen to), there’s not much here. Straightforward and samey instrumentation, slurred (almost incoherent at times) singing, simplistic lyrics and a lack of any real edge or emotion makes this pretty low-tier punk rock for me. Almost every song is extremely repetitive, and very little stands out from the rest. The only track that really breaks the formula is “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend”, which instead of being a fast tempo, repetitive punk song with simplistic lyrics is a mid tempo, repetitive pop love song with simplistic lyrics. Yay? Overall, not impressed. They may have been the “first true punk band” and helped inspire a lot of the punk aesthetic, but compared to what later punk and rock groups have done, this album just doesn’t hold up.

Decent album

if you like punk you'll probably love it. I don't

Good, but not really my vibe. I can see how this changed the course of punk music, but it lacks the punch that I look for in songs; both in terms of the low end of their instruments and in terms of content. The songs are over before I can groove, and that’s if I can grove because it is just repetition on the guitar and drums. Now obviously, that’s not why people come this genre, which I why I would never make a serious review of a genre I don’t regularly consume.

I don't find the Ramones that interesting. A single track is punchy, punky, and energetic. A whole album just becomes repetitive.

Blitzgreig is a banger but all the other songs sounds the same

Not very punk in my opinion, almost pop music. All got very samey but not terrible either.

Started strong but got boring pretty quickly. I just don’t like punk.

Although I was raised partially on rock, I was born in the 90s and the Ramones never really popped up on my radar. Still, I was always aware of their name and some of their biggest hits. I was therefore sorely disappointed to discover that, after going through this entire album, I cannot count myself a Ramones fan. Apart from the music all sort of sounding the same – there were a few times where I honestly didn't realize that I'd moved on to the next track – I don't really get how this band became as big as it did. To me, their music is a PEZ dispenser of short, fast, and uninspired guitar riffs accompanied by abrupt and goofy vocals. Great for background music to silly commercials or fun film montages, maybe, but I can't imagine enjoying an entire Ramones concert...

5/17/2022 - ALBUM #110 Today's Album: "Ramones" by Ramones - Oh boy is this album ever grating and obnoxious. Now, after giving this a casual listen and thinking that exact sentiment, I really tried to have an open mind going into my more in depth listen to try to get anything out of it, but wow does this album just get more and more insufferable as it goes on. It starts off really promising with the gigantic hit Blitzkrieg Bop, which sets a great tone for the record with these really crunchy guitar chords and some really punky and confident lead vocals. The HEY HO LETS GO chants add so much energy to this track and it really made me think I was getting into something amazing. The next track Beat on the Brat has some really nice aspects to it and I think the chorus is really fun despite the very strange mixing choices, but it is obviously a step down from the last track and the rest of the album just follows suit. Ranging from decent to unlistenable, the rest of the songs start with the same overblown 3 chords that the guitarist keeps cranking out and the moany, whiny, and lazy vocal performance just gets less charming and more unlistenable with each track. I really tried to put myself in the mindset that this punky project is going to have some production choices that I will just not agree with, but when the issue comes not from the production but the song writing, it really gets hard for me to stay invested and look past the flaws when so much of this project is just poorly put together. Each track feels like it goes on much longer than it actually does and the overall >30 minute runtime feels like an absolute slog to get through. Overall, this album has a lot going for it and I really see the start of something special (as in it is pioneering a genre), but as a standalone album it just isn't worth my listen. Listen to Blitzkrieg Bop and leave the rest unless if you're really into punk, but even so I don't think you'll get a ton out of it. Highlights: Blitzkrieg Bop Score: 4.5/10 A downhill slope

Blitzkreig Bop is a BOP. Then the rest of the album basically sounds like variations on Blitzkreig. It’s very repetitive and suffers from no variety whatsoever.

So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive. So repetitive.

Boring, but for name 2*

repetitivo

Starts out great but I think it really overstays it's welcome by the end. It's just an incredibly meat and potatoes, detached punk album for me. Even with the short length it felt like a drag.

Hey ho let's go I apparently have never heard a Ramones song before. The Havana banana song was kinda fun, all in all not something I would listen to. My mum was born the year this came out, 46 years ago.

You've definitely heard Blitzkrieg Bop before. Even if you think you haven't, there is a 100 percent chance you have. The song isn't even that good, why do so many people use it!? The rest of the album is just really boring. It's vanilla ice cream served at a restaurant after a decently good dinner with your parents, it's the most basic Punk Rock you can get. Also the vocalist sucks ass lmao

No siis.

I liked some of the songs but like not as an album. You know? And we're meant to be rating these as albums

All sounds the same to be honest

Didn’t mind it too much, it’s short and punchy. Doesn’t leave much of an impression though and feels a bit superficial. Find it strange people hang on to stuff like this and The Clash, apart from looking quite cool there isn’t much substance.

I get it - they were ahead of their time. That said, it's a bit of a hard listen given my enjoyment of more modern punk. Better as a history lesson than a listen.

I did like a couple of songs that are iconic, but the rest were all similar to one another and did not stand out in the lyrics department either. If you heard one or two Green Day songs, you really heard them all... Same applies here

Ahh the memories 🤫

obviously a fantastic opener, brings me back to Tony hawk which just goes to show this songs broad appeal over time "Second verse, same as the first" chainsaw doesnt start with a chainsaw but some sort of circular saw? meh a 2

it's fine and that's kind of it

All the tracks sound the same & the singer's voice is annoying.

For years I have seen Ramones shirts, heard amazing remarks about the Ramones, and the hype I had heard about them was so great I thought they were God’s gift to music. When I listened to them for the first time, and after this album listen now, I truly believe there may not be a more overrated band than the Ramones. Don’t get me wrong, they have a couple “bops” (pun intended), but overall I think their discography is criminally average at best. Now, I’m not the biggest punk fan in the world, but there is quite a good bit of punk that I enjoy, despite what my previous punk reviews on this site have you believe (I haven’t really enjoyed the punk on this list thus far that I have received). With that said, I think the album is a 1/5, however I will give it a 2/5 for historical importance to the punk genre.

influential, and a couple of good tunes but really pretty pish.

As important as this may have been it’s not aged well. The songs are basic but I get the impression they are decent musicians pretending to be bad ones. Unlike their punk peers they don’t have much to say. 2/5

I might be upsetting the music gods, but I didn’t like this album. If the goal was for every song to sound the same, A+, 5 Stars. The reason it gets 2 stars is solely because of Blitzkrieg Bop.

Solid debut. Iconic. I struggle with their LPs because 1) so many tracks blend together, and 2) there's a lot of filler of so-so songs.

Every song sounds the same

Ok, but I'm not big on punk

All of the songs have the same droning high pace base line in the back - not my favorite

Every song sounds the same. Appreciate who they are, but boring album overall

Seemed pretty repetitive (the songs had similar structure and chord progressions were always the same) although this might be a characteristic of punk-rock. The Lyrics were probably the most interesting, being much more diverse than the instruments. Overall this album was an interesting listen but I got slightly bored after the 9th song

Herkenbare klanken, compositie en mastering. Leuke stereo mix in Now I wanna sniff some glue.

Quite catchy songs but for me there is not enough depth in the instruments, voice and lyrics. The songs are also very similar and have a lot of repetition. The constant guitar rif in the right also gets old very fast. Did not finish

A lot of very similar songs, no question it's the Ramones.

A O 2 ✨

simple, lacklustre bop rock

Hating Blitzkrieg Bop did not help. The album was a little dull, but at least the songs are short little ditties.

Not a fan of this… enjoyed some of the singles but an entire long player is just not great! Sorry Ramones!

was kinda bad. i don’t like it

musicas fav: blitzkrieg bop

all the songs sounded the same to me i’m sorry to anyone who enjoys their music but it was painful to listen to - i still listened to the whole thing anyways

Shit fake punk. Worst of the worst.

im gunna skip this one jay said was shit

DNF. I hate this. They cant song and what are they saying.

Still as influential today as it was when it came out. After listening to this, I was influenced to listen to better music. Hookless dragging cretin punk sludge that somehow makes thirty minutes feel like thirty hours. The Ramones are pack of talentless mooks who conflate playing well with playing loud and so sling out the same bland rock riffs for fourteen tracks while the lead singer belches out first draft lyrics with a voice that could only have be obtained by spending an evening smashing needles of horse tranquilliser into the base of his thick skull.

After the first song-all the others sound the same.

I guess this was fresh and raw back in the 60's but all of it sounds the same to me. Never been a Ramones fan and a fresh listen hasn't changed that.

As tshirt sellers ramones are up with the best. Musically this is pap of the highest order. Silly without any humour

Listened on a walk. As far as punk goes, I love and agree with everything the movement stands for. But as a pure listening experience, I cannot stand the stuff. One dimensional, grating, and worst of all - boring. I thought it was just because I'm getting old but then I remember that I've always hated The Ramones, and the fact they were so influential remains a mystery to me to this day.

Don't like it. at all. That vocal tone is not pleasant.

Maleta

Kommer inte lyssna

Blitzkrieg Bop is good, 13 more times of that not so much...

I never saw much appeal to the Ramones and I still don't. I imagine they get a lot of credit for starting punk and probably had some fun live shows. I can tell they had a good sense of humor. But musically I don't find it very interesting and it's certainly not something I'd choose to listen to. Sorry dad

have the rolling stones killed

Man I really thought I was going to like this album. I usually like rock like this but every one of the 14 songs sounded so similar that the fatigue set in quickly. 1.5/5

Not really my genre, I thought many songs sounded so similar

I like them but man way too repetitive. I need a little more than 1, 2, 3, 4! And the same 4 chords being rearranged for every song.

This is not my type of music

Here I am, face to face with the foundational album in my least favourite genre of music. It starts off well with Johnny Ramone intonating the word 'bop' in a really cute way on Blitzkrieg Bop. A couple songs in I was still on board but it soon fell apart. I don't think I will ever like the simple brash abrasiveness of your average punk song.

One of the most endearing things about the Ramones is that it evokes the feeling that anyone can create music, even 8 year olds. One of the least endearing things about the Ramones is that it evokes the feeling that 8 year olds wrote and played this. The good news is it sounds like 8 year olds mixed and recorded this. At least the leather jackets are pretty sweet.

The songs all started to sound the same from some point on.

you can’t even tell when a song ends or a song starts. they all have the same beat.

meh, kinda repetitive

This will sound similar to other reviews on here - but this basically sounded like the same song 14 times. The vocals I thought were terrible, sometimes incomprehensible. I admit I've never "got" punk and most punk I've heard I just don't rate at all - from the singing to the music. I appreciate some simplicity and the whole idea of the punk movement - but musically for me it's a barren wasteland.

Didn’t really do much for me. Felt like the same song over and over and not a particularly good song at that

Nuh uh

If only the whole album didn't sound like one song... maybe that's just not my genre

Ramone are junk

I wanna sniff some glue to forget that I listened to this. Fortunately, there’s a song for that.

1/10 - Not a fan of this band or album. - Think they literally use about 3 chords on the entire album. - Every song sounds the same, mainly cause you can’t understand any of the lyrics over the 3 chords crying out the guitars. - If you like energetic early punk rock then this might be exactly what you want to hear. However for myself it’s not for me, but that’s art for ya! So I’ll quit Romoaning.

An insult to humanity that this is on the top 1001 albums of all time.. Was enjoying at first 2 classic songs until the same 3 thrashy chords and song rhythm got very boring

I’ve never understood why they’re held in such high esteem, it sounds like some greasy record executive heard punk and put together the punk Monkees, the Punkees if you will, the difference being that the Monkees had tracks. The best thing about Ramones is the logo, the second best is how they mastered the manipulation of time itself, making 29 minutes feel like 2 hours.

Stupid teen screaming

Heard it before. In fact I've heard it multiple times because each time I thought "I've never listened to any Ramones albums" before checking my stats and realizing I have, in fact, listened to this very album already. Nothingburger of an album and the most overrated punk band ever 1/5

boring… not much content? exhibitionist. the songs don’t mean anything and all sound the same

For a lot of the hooks it’s just the title of the song over and over until you get bored of it. There are really simple power chords in the background of each song. The electric guitar and drums are very prominent parts of this style. Very catchy to be honest. Blitzkrieg Bop, let’s dance, and Beat on Brat really stick out to me on this album. A very punk rock album of the 70’s. Not my cup of tea and this is my rating so it’s getting a 1 out of 10.

Every track begins with "one two three four..." As for the cover picture, the guys on the far left and far right bought their wigs from the same place.

One hit wonder. 30 minutes I will never get back.

Blitzkrieg pop is leuk.

About 37 minutes longer than it needed to be. It just kept going.

I can’t do it. 1

Shocked that I never really listened to the Ramones before. Now having done so, I realize I wasn’t missing much. I found it hard to discern many of the songs from one another. They definitely have their own sound and that sound is in every song without fail. That’s both good and bad. It’s like they want every one of their songs to be a rock anthem and it becomes tired. I don’t really have an ear for instruments but it sounded like a lot of the same chord progressions in each song. Literally didn’t realize the song had changed at one point because it sounded the exact same. Maybe I’m being overly harsh, but had higher hopes for the band that was plastered on every teenagers shirt in the 2010s.

it’s the same song over and over . 1

I just don’t like the Ramones. Too milk toast to be punk, not talented enough to be anything else.

Not good! I won’t pretend to know much if anything about punk, but if this is it, I’d rather listen to congressional hearings. Repetitive, lazy chords and lyrics in the first few tracks give the listener necessary context for the same repetitive lazy chords and lyrics experienced in later tracks. Am I crazy or do tracks 7-9 literally have the actual exact same guitar progression?? Listen to Ramones Ramones if you want 29 minutes to feel like 29 hours.

“It was edgy, avant garde, it pushed the envelope while promoting violence and drug use!!” https://youtu.be/xXNy5YvF6l0?si=H0RgT5Gv6HMDRo5T Dumb, repetitive simple lyrics with the same chords in each two minute song; self described as a “return to pop” during a period of highly produced albums. It’s incredible to me how much this gets a pass from reviewers. How many reviewers feel the same way about a song like Gucci Gang? Surely Lil Pump’s punk enough with that endeavor, no?

OK, I gave them a chance. Not my type of music... far from it. I actually got this album from a friend, never played it. One of my clients has a "Ramones museum" here in Sweden. A little surprised that the album made it to this list. Where is Lee Clayton's "Naked Child" in that context?

I don't like punk so I just picture a fight scene in a movie when I hear music like this.

Repeat words and riffs over and over. I just don’t get it I guess. There’s like 16 unique words in every song.

3 hours, demos AND I hate the singer's voice? 1 star for sure. I only like their blitzkrieg pop song that's IT

Are the Ramones 13 years old? Because if so this is a great start to forming a band. Some nice ideas and decently played, well done boys. Or if they were grown men at the time of recording, this is shit.

didnt listen coz the cover was shot in black and white so i though they were black so i didnt listen

i am rex and i am homo. lol

From the energetic opening track of Blitzkrieg Bop this album is indeed a "bop," until that song ends. Probably the shortest album I've listened to. And the mixing isn't too great, particularly on the vocals and drums. Additionally, Most of the tracks sounded alike except I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend and Blitzkrieg Bop (both were also the only tracks written by drummer Tommy Ramone, so he did a good job). I felt I had already heard everything they could do with Blitzkrieg Bop. I'm aware the Ramones were one of the most influential bands on punk rock, so I'd like to give them more, but the album doesn't particularly impress me at all. 30 minutes of playing the same song but with different words and a slight different beat. Notable tracks: Blitzkrieg Bop, I wanna Be Your Boyfriend

Boring. Didnt finish. Stop giving me dad rock

Couldn’t wait for this to end

I can listen to a couple of songs, but not the whole album again.

i never want to

aye oh lets go. every song on this album sounds the same ngl. not good tbh

Couple of decent songs but the whole album was not for me. 1/5

Boring to me

Not a fan. Too repetitive with both lyrics and beat.

Didn’t listen, shits garbo

I like bands than can play. The Ramones cannot, like most Punk bands. Their music sounds like the same song played over and over again. Simple, raw, but clumsy. It's hard to imagine that this record was considered hot and trendy at some point in time.

Sod off

intro to chain saw made my heart stop

Not quite my tempo. 175bpm, to be exact.

Blitzkrieg Bop is fun and enjoyable. 14 Blitzkrieg Bops is not fun and enjoyable. You cant just release 14 of the same song. Listen to My Heart starts off different and then its just the same song again.

Nicht meine Richtung

-5 Punk is the worst

The album was shit

I have never understood the devotion to this atrocious band. Every song is too slow. Nothing is as angry as it should be. This band and album have lived off hype for too long. It's terrible.

now i wanna sniff some glue I have to give them credit for originating the punk sound, but this really isn't an album I would ever choose to listen to again. Somewhere around 1.5

I don't like the song 'Blitzkrieg Bop' (I just heard it too much) and to be fair, all the other songs sound quite the same. Punk can be smart, or punk can be the Ramones.

Liked Song Blitzkrieg Bop

I get that the Ramones were trailblazers and were the vanguard of the punk sound in that era, but my god their music is so grating to my ears. Might as well be one long song for how similar all of the tracks sound. I barely made it through the album before I shut it down. One star.

I'm honestly speechless in a way. I don't know how this album became as influential as is did. 30 mins of unintelligible vocals and the same under-produced chord progression. I didn't think I was going to like this album because I'm not a big punk fan, but this was still worse than I could have thought. Blitzkrieg Bop is still fun enough though

Love me some Stevie. Hadn’t heard any of these songs before so it’s a nice addition.

All sounded the same but a couple of standouts.

couldn't even finish. not my thing at all

Complete crap. Talentless.

I do not like the ramones

Awful album. Never understood why People enjoy the Ramones

Ah. The unmistakable sound of the world’s most over-rated band and most successful seller of T-Shirts. The word ‘repetitive’ doesn’t do it justice.

Kinda cringe tbh

It’s the same song 14 times over.

Kinda repetitive instrumentals. Vocals are meh. Myb punk isn't for me.

Expected Lorenzo Rating - 3

First listen Saved 1/14 Top track: Blitzkrieg Bop

~~✨ Unpopular Opinion Time ✨~~ The Ramones' Punk only serves as the simplest possible wrapper for a sentiment - there's nothing else - in the same way Schlager Music does. Like, say, "Die Woodys - Fichtl's Lied". And as they have nothing punk to say over the course of their album - even less than the Woodys - it is equally as dumb as Schlager: shallow shit on a schtick. (Havana Affair, in the Anniversary's Version mono mix, thus stripped of any pretense of sonic qualities or interest, was alright)

Oh, it’s the one that goes ‘ey, oh, let’s go’. This was where the album peaked. By the end of it I just wanted it to be over. Thank fuck it was only 29 minutes long.

Too repetitive, every song sounded the same and not particularly interesting compositions

This sounds like they were a band for about 10 minutes before they wrote the record and just spammed same chord progression for every song.

Still not a fan of punk but at least this is on the good end of punk.

It's the same song for 30 minutes feels like 1/10

The least interesting band to come out of CBGB. Soo boring.

Horrible

Not my music. Just not into that genre

Meh—tedious head-bob fluff.

Not my taste

Nicht mein Fall, Lieder klingen alle gleich

Did not enjoy it

Simple music. Never enjoyed them really. Feels like a schtick and a stupid one at that.

Not my taste of music. All songs the same.

Super repetitive and boring. Not enjoyable

Ramones follow a basic rock chord structure with simple drum beats accompanied by simple bass lines. Their lyrics are so far not anything spectacular. I dislike the vocalists voice. Lyrics are often repeated. All the songs sound the same. I used to like punk rock when I was a bit younger, but sadly this is not for me. I can definitely see the appeal however, to those who got into Ramones in their youth many years ago.

What a bop.. on a serious note I can't tell I've moved onto another song yet 😂 honestly think they where sniffing glue writing this, he can't pronounce the word massacre fucking dumbass, Loudmouth to blitzkrieg bop is like when you copy some homework but have to change a few words to make it your own, done well to make the same song last 29 mins and 16 seconds

Punk sucks. Ramones suck. Sophomoric wank.

Ronduit saai. erg hetzelfde. geen emotie.

Maybe exciting for 1976, but now its boring and repetative.

Garbage music.

Too punk/noisy for me

I got halfway through this album before I realized it wasnt one just long song.

very boring unfortunately, "blitzkrieg bop" brought back very old memories of it getting played a bunch on the car radio so nostalgia places that song a peg above the rest of them. however they are all extremely similar and boring, and i'm glad punk rock got much better than this.

I feel like I listened to the same bland, cringy song 14 times. I really didn’t like it.

Completely unoriginal and bland, like listening to the same song on loop

I heard lots of good things about the Ramones. I had high hopes. This album is like an average Buzzcocks song, on repeat for half an hour. Utter crap.

This album is uninteresting and goes on for what feels like forever! I hated the vocals, which sounded too compressed and weak, for the genre, and I genuinely don't understand why it's on this list, or why it's revered in the music world as being one of the best albums ever. I could hardly even make out what the lyrics were, yet at the same time I don't really care.

I'm not a Ramones fan. I appreciate what they contributed to the influence of music I like. But I'm not a fan again.

Agreed, just not a fan of the Ramones. The album sounds like one long song, with each track feeling exactly the same as the last. I'm thankful for the influence they had on music to come, but this album (and the band in general) is a miss for me. 2/10

catorce veces blitzkrieg bop

It's a legendary punk rock album! I hate it! This album isn't nearly as angry-sounding as punk rock usually tends to be. That made it less physically painful to listen to than most punk rock. Still, it's nothing more than chaotic noise to me. Sounding happy doesn't make these guys any more skilled as musicians. Short as the album is, I couldn't stomach more than half of it.

I wonder if 90% of people who wear Ramones t-shirts have ever listened to this (or any other) Ramones album? If they had, they would discover that it is a pretty generic, uninspired and uninteresting example of 70s punk. Its only 29 minutes long, but I was bored of this by the half way mark. Its genuinely difficult to tell one track from the next. Rating: 1.5/5 Playlist track: Blitzkrieg Bop Date listened: 11/01/23

New candidate for the most overrated album of all time... Why does his voice sound like that???

As I previously pointed out, punk is not a genre I particularly enjoy. Especially if it is presented in its purest form - simple, fast riff, monotonous bass track and vocals, usually full of rage, or just with some wit in it. Ramones fall into that category and unfortunately, they are so dull and one-dimensional, I have hard time writing anything positive about the album. This is one of those rare occasions, where I couldn't even finish the record. All the songs became just one, continuous pulp with no special features to distinguish them from another. I've read, that Ramones inspired many new bands to follow their practices, which resulted in grunge, for example. Well, even if that's true, this band is already outdated in my eyes. Nowadays, every little town or village has a local punk band, that is more raw and just simply better. Hopefully that was the only album by Ramones on this list.

per 30 minuti senti UNA sola canzone.

vomito

Low quality (in sound, as well as musically and lyrically) noise throughout.

my poor ears holy shit

Only thought of Blitzkreig Bop as the AO advert song Every song sounded the same, didn’t realise I had got to the end of the album!

The Ramones are not the world's worst band. They are, however, the world's most overrated band. 'Hey ho, let's go'? No. Come on, there is nothing punk about 'I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend' and then to have it as your second single. Fuck off.

Every song sounds the same

I didn't care for the Ramones. While the first song's simple beat and monotone singing worked for it, the rest of the songs were literally that same thing over and over. Also having 14 songs that clocked under 30 minutes is unnecessary and maybe they should have focused on less songs with more substance/variety

Way too much of the same. I think the guitarist didn't bother to learn ANYTHING besides the one basic power chord shape. Plus that voice really grates after a couple songs. Punk is soooo lame compared to the hard rock that came before it and the heavy metal that came after it. The music is boring and you can tell the guys are all about the "cool" image instead. This album has the lowest amount of talent and songwriting ability I've heard in a while. I don't mind the hits, really, but as it album it sucks

the high hat and crash cymbals in the left ear offend me

I do not like the Ramones.

Pretty shit music, and very repetitive, so there's not much to even talk about And that lisp makes me feel so uncomfortable, at least it was short This might very well be a one. Yup, there are no redeeming quilities

I am not really ino metal

Don't 'get' the Ramones at all.

Meh. All sounds same

It's old, it's punk, it's probably a classic but it doesn't do it for me
