There was not a thing I liked about this album.
I don't like the overdramatic tone of Lordes singing. Not bad, not good.
Psycho killer is good. The other songs didn't convince me to vote higher. Don't love it, don't hate it.
I like the sound of R.E.M. The album has some ups and downs for me, but overall a nice and easy to listen album.
Worked well on the background. Did not really stand out.
I knew Yes only from "owner of a lonely heart", so I knew they were all great instrumentalists. This album shows that as well, but it just does that. It lacks really great songs
Don't enjoy listening to Lana's singing and dislike the overdramatic feel throughout the album.
A little too experimental to my opinion. I like the overall sound of Radiohead
Overall sound is a little too dark. Not my kind of music.
I really liked the guitar, organ and percussion parts in "Devil eyes" and I liked this song in particular, but others I enjoyed less. Probably wouldn't listen to it again.
I liked that more than I expected. Has some surprising parts.
I'm not a big fan of country. I think Buck Owens executes it well, but it doesn't amuse me.
This was nice! Nice harmonies and good music
A little to Raw for me from time to time, but overall quite enjoyable.
It's just too much of everything. 1 extra star for the guitar solos
Didn't enjoy it that much. I noticed I prefered to do something else, than listen to this
It started well, but ended up being a little too experimental from time to time.
Great album! Can't go wrong with the funk of Nile Rodgers and the steady baselines of Edwards, but together with the Sledge sisters it is just awesome. The remixes on the remastered album were not my thing, but the original album is just perfect!
Hiphop is not really my thing and, although this album has some cool elements, it remains that way. Quite hard to make it to the end
Decent album, with some really nice elements. I did enjoy this one.
A little different than what I'm used to from Bowie. Nice sound. A little raw. I did enjoy that
Amazing album with a lot of Soul/Funk/Jazz elements. Great use of the percussion and the album has a good energy!
Overall a good album. It showcases the more experimental time of Genesis, when Gabriel was still a member of the group, really well. Personally, I'm a fan of the later albums, but I enjoy listening to the earlier work from time to time as well.
The beginning was really bad. Didn't like that at all. Going further into the album, it got a bit better, but didn't convince me to vote more than 1 star.
Nice blues-rock album. Has some really great songs. The guitar solos and the music itself are not very complicated and quite basic from a technical perspective, but are very well executed. The flow/rhythm/energy in this album is great!
I like the sound and music of the white stripes in general, but I struggle a bit with this album. Has 1 or 2 great songs. One of those albums where you notice it becomes really nice when the album has ended and spotify started with recommendations based on this album.
Here and there, I found some elements I did like.
Didn't listen this album before. Not my favorite, but it was ok.
It surprised me from time to time and wasn't as expected.
I liked the sound. It felt like a jamsession instead of a proper studio record. Would have been 4 stars if the singer wouldn't sing this much out of tune
If they would speed it up a little and make it a rock 'n roll album, it would have been great, but now it's just boring country music. I liked the last song (live) which had a little more energy.
Apart from one or two songs that are a bit too sweet, I really liked this album! With the benefit of the doubt a five star album (thanks to "Almost cut my hair")
Some parts were too experimental and some parts were really nice. Let's meet in the middle
A real classic. I liked the album from start to end. Proper blues rock album, with some great hits!
Music was good, but eventually I got tired of Toms singing.
Apart from the occasional nice parts, I felt like this album wasted almost two hours of my time.
Album left me a bit confused and I'm not sure whether I like it or hate it. It definitely has some good elements, but also a lot of noise.
Very nice! I like the sound of Franz Ferdinand!
"I bet you look good on the dancefloor" got me listening to the Arctic Monkeys already quite some years ago. After listening to this album the first time I was sold. And although they have made some great music over the years, this first album remains my personal favorite.
After 10 minutes I don't remember a lot from this album. Can't be a good sign.
Better than the other MBV albums. Still a bunch of noise
Catchy tunes, similar vibe throughout the album. I would listen to it again, but on repeat it gets a bit boring after a while.
Terrible. At first, I thought I'd give an extra point for the flow of the album, but the songs got worse and worse. It reminds me of those times trying all the sound of a cheap keyboard while playing a pre-programmed drum beat. They should have named the song "Around the Worst".
Nice. Easy to listen. I like the bass parts! Kudos for the little guitar riffs throughout the album that makes it interesting. Simple, but effective.
I like the usage of brass, but together with the strings, lyrics and voice I can picture this music being played in some cheesy musical.
Nice album, but the vocal parts of some songs were a little too experimental. I could listen all day to the blues songs with Clapton doing his magic.
A versatile album with quite a lot of musical complexity. I'm not very familiar with the songs of ELP, but I definitely dive into this after listening to this album.
I didn't like that one. The music lacks creativity and the singer sounds like he is in the room next door trying to talk with his band.
Not my style of music, but it's not bad. I like the few guitar forward bits.
I did not listened a lot to Blur before and I mainly know them from "song 2". I really like their sound, but this album didn't convince me.
I love this album! Love the blues rock sound of it and the mix is flawless. They lost me a bit in one or two songs, but overall a nice album.
I don't understand the hype around Beyoncé. It's not my type of music and I never listened to it properly. I now understand why... Overall, I did not enjoy it, but I give an extra star, because not all songs were really bad.
I don't like the singing. Couldn't find a lot in this album I liked. Luckily, it wasn't that long.
It has it's ups and downs. I really like some songs, but other ones fail to amuse me.
The songs are ok, but Elvis his voice is really annoying to listen to.
Did not hate that, but not a fan of Lou Reeds singing. Some songs were nice.
Normally, I don't like background noise on a studio album, and although the laughter was a little much from time to time, it just works well in this "jazz club" setting. I did enjoy the whole jazz feel of the album and I can picture myself listening to this with a nice peated whisky on a cold sunday afternoon. Love the bass and the saxophone sounds! In the end of the album, when the nice jazz sound was lost a bit, I did get bored. Last song did get me enthousiastic again.
Nice. Quite some songs I didn't know. Clear ABBA sound (but somewhat more matured) throughout the album. This album shows that ABBA has great musicians!
I do like the more soul-oriented songs. There was also a lot of crap found on this album.
YES! Eddie van Halens iconic guitar sound all the way through and it shows his the exceptional skills. Amazing album!
I went in fully open-minded again, but Electronic Dance Music fails to enjoy me. Some parts were ok. Even a few small parts were nice, but is was mostly terrible. Maybe a 8am train ride isn't the best setting, but I can't image any other setting would make this better.
I knew this album already and it's still a nice one. The simplicity of only a guitar, voice and harmonica, and in this case no need for more, really works. "Blowing in the wind" was one of the first songs I learned on a guitar and it brings me back to those times strumming the guitar until my fingers were fully numb. Nice!
As a christmas album it's quite ok, but since I like to listen to christmas music only one week a year, I can't give it more stars.
One of the greatest albums of all time and one of my personal favorites.
I like the harmonies of Paul and Art. Also a lot of unknown songs for me on this album, but I quite enjoyed this.
I love Jimi as a guitar player, but this album is a little too experimental.
Unknown artist for me, but it was a pleasant surprise! 80's sound all the way through
Brings me back to an evening on Curaçao at the beach with a beer. Good memories.
This was just an album full of cheesy, uninspiring music. Bored the hell out of me.
Nice songs, with some great guitar riffs. Songs were a little too heavy and album lacked a bit of variation.
Apart from Lust for life and the passenger, I didn't know any of these songs. I really enjoyed this and falls exactly in the genre I would normally listen to. Great album from start to end.
Music is fine, but nothing really stands out and it feels a very "flat". Fades quickly to the background.
A weird mix between some cheesy pop songs, country and blues. I did like some parts of this album, but it lacks cohesion.
Not a fan. First songs function well as background music and fade away quickly since there is nothing really interesting happening. The last songs, on the other hand, stay in the foreground but in a bad way. Just a bunch of noise.
I did like some of the songs. Some others were a little boring. Overall not very memorable.
I had some mixed feelings with this, but most of the time quite enjoyable
Didn't really enjoy this. Really fades to the background due to the repetition of all elements. Doesn't really stand out.
With such an awesome voice, there is not much more you need than an acoustic guitar. I really liked it, but for the covers I liked the original songs better
Great album. Enjoyed this from start to end! And Carlos Santana is just a great guitar player with an awesome distinctive sound
Sound really similar to other BB Kings live albums. Still enjoyable.
Boring music. Fades to the background quickly and all songs on the album sound like any other Pet Shop Boys song.
Nice surprise. Especially liked the more soul-oriënted songs.
I like the overall energy of OutKast, but it just goes on for too long.
I like the music, but in a specific setting. Now it was just ok.
Didn't listen to this band before. It was ok. Not outstanding.
Nice. I love the way of featuring the guitar and organ. Would have been 5 stars if it stopt a little sooner, because after a while I got a bit overwhelmed with all the stuff that's happening.
The previous Wilco album lacked cohesion. This one is better in terms of cohesion, but I'm not really a fan of the sound on this album.
I can imagine that, when for example played in the supermarket, some of these songs will put a smile on my face. As an album I think it's just overproduced shit without any emotion.
The songs are all in such a high key that the singer can't reach the high notes. That's just bad execution of songs that could have worked.
Nice feel throughout the album. Overall quite smooth and soulful.
This is shitty hiphop on another level. I can't find anything I enjoy on this album.
This whole album feels like a joke, but it did put a smile on my face. Love the double bass going on with the walking bass lines!
I enjoy some Stevie every moment of the day. What a musician! Great album, but a little too soft and not my favorite Stevie album.
Listened to this album while working quite focussed. Apart from the first song, I can't recall what was on the album, so it's not exceptional in a good or bad sense.
Killing me softly and no woman no cry are good, because those are great songs. The remaining of the album is just bad hiphop.
This is some "in your face" - jazz music. The start was hard to get through, but once you get there the songs get better (or you get used to it). This is far too experimental for me, but I enjoy this more than listening to any hiphop album we've had so far. 2.5/5
Not very familiar with this band, but I really like the sound and vibe on this album. Great, easy listening rock music!
Nice, distinctive sound. Fun to listen to a full Duran Duran album instead of having some Duran Duran songs in a spotify list.
This album has some ups and downs. I did enjoy some parts, but overall it is not my kind of music.
That was a weird collection of songs put together on an album. Didn't enjoy it that much.
I like some reggae from time to time, but a full album is a little to much. This album has some good songs.
Some songs are good and some guitar solo's are great, but now I know why I only knew Navarro from his time in RHCP
Didn't know this band and this album came as a nice surprise. Album has it's ups and downs, but overall quite fun with some surprising elements
