Reviews (page 9 of 16)

Is a masterpiece full of passion and elaborated compositions, great music assembly and awesome hits through the whole album.

Just a classic

An all time favorite

As close to a perfect album as I've ever heard. Hit after hit. The dynamics of the three songwriting styles is great and keeps you hooked after for the next song. Easy 5 for me.

Love. Classic!

It is interesting what you associate with music - although I was 10 in 1977 I am not sure if I remember the singles, or just loved them from hearing them on the radio later, but my thoughts mostly went to the part in the Discovery of Witches books where the Bishop house plays Fleetwood Mac constantly to Diana.

Have it on vinyl.

These massive albums and cultural defining music included are always difficult to critically evaluate due to their ubiquity, if you're a fan and know some of the backstories, difficult to disassociate from... still an all time classic that continues to resonate today. Oh Daddy is the only track that wasn't a significant hit. I will say the new Atmos mixes sound great.

It’s probably not cool to like this album as much as I do, but I do. Every track is a standout. Perfect album.

Eines der besten Alben jemals, sicher top 3 für mich.

I love cowboy folk music. awesome album!! personal top3 in no order: The Boll Weevil Bed Bug Blues Salty Dog

Phantastisches Album! Mehr kann ich dazu nicht sagen. 8.8/10

Excellent album! Lots of songs I already knew but even some of the other ones I enjoyed.

Undoubtely amongst the best albums ever written. I Listended by chance to "Tusk" earlier today, and whilst the musicianship and production might be even better on that record, there is a nerve and consistency on Rumour that speaks much stronger to me.

A couple songs don't work for me, but the overall strength of the album and the perfection of many songs makes this undoubtedly one of the greatest albums ever

It’s tempting to say “how could I not like this?” But I think actually the album might actually have a couple of duds. It’s not a perfect album, but it’s really close and I’ll forgive them for the duds. Especially if I let Silver Springs end the album. Shame that one didn’t make it on the official release. It’s clearly the best Fleetwood Mac song.

Still shockingly good, downright mythical. Simply a masterpiece.

So many iconic hits peppered with some great filler. So close to perfect. Easy 5 Repeats:dreams, don't stop, go your own way, the chain, oh daddy Skips: second hand news

I’ve Never been a big fan of Fleetwood Mac, but it’s hard not to recognize the brilliance of this album. Nine of the 11 songs are played frequently on classic rock radio with only Songbird and oh daddy, not receiving airplay on my local stations. Apparently cocaine and relationship drama really got the creative juices flowing.

already listened to it but i love it ✨✨✨✨✨

Easily Top 10 of all time

Perfect!

a goddarn masterpiece, Im in absolutely awe of the warmness of the sound here, and the absolute perfection of the songwriting, legendary timeless stuff

Great album

Beziehungsprobleme ! Platin Record ! und immer noch super hörbar! 🎧📻🎸

Zeitlos. Richtige MUSIK

Thank you Stevie and co. for saving me from the recent run of albums I've had. This is the pop album that all other pop albums should be compared to, just unbeliveable songwriting and performances that keeps you enthralled without effort for the whole album. The chorus of 'Dreams', the energy of 'Go Your Own Way', the bass riff in 'The Chain', the beautiful vocals of 'Songbird', the groove of 'You Make Loving Fun'. Pop music doesn't have to mean basic and sticking within the boundaries, you can make fantastic art within the genre like this.

Banger after banger. Classic album. Love it.

Don't need to listen to hand out 5 stars. This was on the turntable at every party. I've owned it and played it constantly yet never get sick of it. One of my top 5.

I mean cmon. Probably greatest single album of all time.

Some many great tracks! Super Album!

look there's a reason that boomers fawn over this album. the production is incredible, there might not be a better sounding album out there. the songwriting is great. everyone in this band is firing on all cylinders. the first side is definitely stronger than the second side. the weak points to me are two of the christine mcvie tracks, songbird and oh daddy. they're not bad, just kind of boring for me. i'd like to be a contrarian about this album, but on the strength of all the other tracks (hell, this album is basically a greatest hits of fleetwood mac on its own) i just simply can't.

Obvious 5

Such a great album. From the top to the bottom, my cup overfloweth. 5.0

I mean......... I obviously know and already love this. Lets just see if I could possibly find more to love about it :D

I rolled my eyes when I saw this come up. I prepared my 3 stars. Then I listened to the album again for the hundredth time. It's the most music shaped music. It's the most album shaped album. It has charisma, and a desire to get you in the feels if you're not careful. How can such a familiar and cliche album deliver a gut punch? On 'Go Your Own Way' no less? Go on and take your 5 stars and get out of here, you monster.

A true timeless classic. I've heard every song on this before and yet listening to the whole album through is still an amazing experience.

Perfect album. 6/5.

Wonderful. My dad used to put this album on and we would play card games on the living room carpet with my brothers, so this brings back good memories. It is also just a freaking phenomenal album with every song being superb. I don't know what else to say other than that this album is probably as close as anything can get to perfect. 5/5

One of the all time best.

second hand news: great chorus with production, Catchy. 8/10 Dreams:the biggest song on the album I'm pretty sure and for a good reason. Catchy asf with good vocals 10/10 no explanation never going back again: wierd beat at the beginning but the solo part is good. decent not to write home about tho. 6/10 don't stop: it's good not much too say really 5/10 go your own way: it's ight enjoyable 7/10 songbird:great message with exceptional production with the drums 8/10 The Chain: the only song that I have heard on prior to listening to this album. And it's still incredible with a great chorus and drum set. 10/10 easily you make loving fun: bass is nice. nice chorus yet again its a fun track 8/10 I don't want to know: The lyrics in this track are really good with a deep message explaining a love story that has many levels if you see the lyrics correctly. and the end of the track hits really well to me as a nice finisher. 10/10 oh daddy:I like the lyrics too on this one and a really nice voice great track that I can come back too 9/10 gold dust women:again the women on these tracks has a great singing voice and can tell a great story in a short time and feels like this song wrapped up this record in a great way leaving me with a good story about love. CONCLUSION:this is a fantastic album with amazing lyrics, fantastic music production, and chilling vocals. overall I give this album a 9/10 amazing...

The blood is on the Tracks. This is the perfect album tapping right into the vein of events for the band. Real time voyeurism on relationships. True unfiltered.

Dreams, the 2nd track, is one of those classic faves that I never knew who it was by. I remember when it went viral in the pandemic because a guy was on a skateboard drinking cranapple juice, listening to that song. Good to know whose song it is now. Never Going Back Again is classic too. As is Don’t Stop. I remember that song being played so much it was often on loop in my brain without my permission. I was two years old when this album was released. Again, never knew who sang it. The classics continue with Go Your Own Way, Silver Springs, and The Chain. This is a really great album. So many classic hits!

I hated Rumours for a long time - based solely on the fact that my parents loved it. Turns out it’s one of the few they were right about. Do yourself and favor and listen to the deluxe version and end the B side with Silver Spring.

Iconic

awesome album!

A nice mixture of songs, none feel out of place or repetitive

Holy shit.

Wow, who knew there were so many absolute classics on this classic album! (please note lots and lots of sarcasm in that statement) Rumors is truly a classic for a reason, yet something that I wouldn't normally go for in day to day listening. The majority of the album has been ubiquitous in pop culture and the wider media from everything form TV, movies and even other music since it was released into the world. This really is a masterpiece of an album. Best: Dreams Worst: Oh Daddy

Live Fleetwood Mac and I love this album sm. The Chainnnnnn❤️

MY FAVORITE FLEETWOOD MAC ALBUM J'AIME ESPECIALLY THE CHAIN

Finally some good fucking food ... already know this is a 5 from me

Legendary pop rock

Always a classic!

V gooood

A really good album that I've listened to before. Fleetwood Mac are one of those bands where they don't seem to have a song I don't like. Nice to revisit the album. Highlights of the album were Go Your Own Way and the Chain.

classic, could listen forever

Een must see! Maar dat kan natuurlijk eigenlijk alleen maar als de muziek ook steengoed is. En dat is het. Steengoed. Zoals iemand ooit zei: 10 sterren!

Superb!

- Second Hand News 7/10 - Dreams 10/10 - Never Going Back Again 7/10 - Don't Stop 8/10 - Go Your Own Way 10/10 - Songbird 9/10 - The Chain 10/10 - You Make Loving Fun 8/10 - I Don't Want to Know 7/10 - Oh Daddy 8/10 - Gold Dust Woman 9/10

i LOVE this album like sm im obsessed with fleetwood mac especially with my pookie stevie nicks so i got really happy that it was the first album i got well lets start second hand news: love this one but i never really pay attention to the lyrics because is not my first language so is really hard but today i did so i got surprised at the "i know theres nothing to say someone has taken my place" thx to all the drama that was going on with the band by the time. the first paragraphs of the song seems like the writer is upset that they are done with this other person and theres nothing they can do and that person wont do the things they've used to do. i dont what lay on the tall grass means though lol. the next couple verses are pretty rough omg how i never realized that. the writer says they wont miss this other person because they've been down and tossed around enough so they are kind of done with it. not fully sure what "im just second hand news" means but i interpreted that they're like used??? like not new and thats why they know they're traded by someone else and doesn't mean anything to this other person anymore. really god song i love the voice and instrumentals perfectt dreams: oh BIG classic lets see this gem. im so fucking feral for stevie nicks voice like omg is so good to listen to??? well the firsts verses are really rough too like she says "but listen careful to the sound of your loneneliss" ok beautiful??? in the beginning i kinda feel it was a response to second hand news but now idk i terrible interpretating songs really. this song really is another mad song about the actions of someone else like the line about the thunder and rain and the players only love you when theyre playing. i dont think ive understood the verses about the dreams sorry im stupid lol. im using genius to help me understand this one with all the fleetwood mac lore. after reading all the explenations and actually payinbg attention to the lyrics made me like it even more. stevie is saying how lindsay lost her and how regretful he should feel and also that she thinks he only loved her on her stage persona???? like fucking feral loved it gimme more never going back again: here hes saying that she let he in like fully on her mind multiple times but he never wants to come back there again. this is the shorter song in lyrics but i love the guitar instrumentals and etc. according to genius, the song is about the writer being in a relationship with another woman but reminicing about the similarities with his previsouly relationship with our queen stevie nicks don't stop: I LOVE THIS ONE as i started i started wondering why was the first song that wanst fully gut wretching i hate my ex and i was like im sure this one was written by christine and GUESS WHAT everyone on the band was killing each other but our queen christine was writing songs about living the life and leaving the past behind queen slay lysm. I THINK THESE LINES ARE SO FUNNY "if your life was bad to you just think what tomorrow will do"??? please my girl is so unserious. go your own way: im OBSESSED with this one thanks to my daisy jones and the six obsession like i love it so much. the instrumental on this song is like so fucking insane i love it so much like everything sounds so fucking good. and the lyrics i see that is buckingham saying some similiar thinks that stevie said about him like how he felt his feeling werent appreciated by her and et cetera love it so fucking good songbird: OUYR BEAUTIFUL CHRISTINE GIVING US PRETTY LOVE SONGS. like this one is so sweet that i even teared up a bit:((( those verses really got me "and i wish you all the love in the world but most of all i wish it for myself" our queen of self love. the chain: THIS IS THE BALACOBACO (sorry i had to use a portuguese expression bc i coulnt help it) also another one that i love thanks to daisy jones and the six because is sooo them. this one is so RAW and TOXIC GIMME MORE. im crazy with the instrumental like is SO good everything is perfect i love it really im crazy for this one so daisybilly coded you make loving fun: here comes our mother christine mcvie with her love songs like this one is so cute and sweet but shes so crazy of making her ex husband work on the music she wrote to another man like love her for it get his ass. i dont want to know: this one is actually so sad??? like the instrumental is all fun and games but then shes saying that she doesnt want to be on the middle of him finding happiness so she wants him to find love and move on because she does not want him to me miserable like fuck you stevie nicks thats so saaaad. but i wish silver springs was on its space like i would fully traded it oh daddy: i find the name of this one so funny lol daddy issues really hitting ya. im not really sure if this one is really about a parent like genius help meeee. ok well im dumb and is not about a literal parent but now i can see is about a toxic relationship and she feels like hes better and superior than her and she cant get out of this situation like its really sad which is crazy because christine wrote this one gold dust woman: this one is so raw and insane and crazy i love the instruemental and stevies great and amazing voice. the screams or whatever that was in the end are so insanely good. omg i didnt know this one was about drug addiction. i think this one is actually a really sad song and a sad way to finish the album because stevie is talking about herself and saying that she should be left alone because theres no point on trying to fix her. this one is SO FUCKING DAISY JONES i love this album, i really do, is really important for me and it was really nice to be the first one i got because even though i know how to sing every single on of them i never really payed much attention to the meaning of the lyrics so this made me go and search and learn and understand. i loveee really do i think is one of the best albums ever made in the world

Obligatory 5 star. Very enjoyable

This is the first album on this list that I feel deserves a 5 out of 5 rating. This album is undoubtedly a classic that everybody should listen too at least once but you're going to want to listen to it over and over again. Every song on this album hits, there are no misses but for me "Go Your Own Way" and "Gold Dust Woman" stand out above the crowd here. Honestly you could pick any song on this album as your favorite Fleetwood Mac song and I couldn't fault you for it.

Really nice songs, fav'd 2 of them

An all time classic. I bought this album for $1 at a swap meet in the late 80's. I knew half the songs the first time I heard it.

Well, it's Rumours. The gold standard of perfect pop albums. Nothing else need be said.

Ja simpel, lekker om op te skaten lekker om savonds aan te hebben, lekker als je aan 't schilderen bent. Gewoon goed

Don't stop altijd al een favoriet geweest

An album written for and by people cheating on each other.

One of the greatest albums ever made and nothing more needs to be said.

This would be a greatest hits for most bands.

The best

Blow of fresh air

Truly outstanding in my mind. Classic track follows classic track. The blend of blues, folk and rock with popular overtones - often within the same track - make for an unforgettable album.

An absolute all-timer. What a freakin album.

Stone cold classic! Near perfect album. The musicianship, songcrafting and singing have never been this good. And all mixed crispy clear. I would have loved to see them live one day! 9,5 out of 10

Ugh schwer, aber ich schätze irgendwann muss auch ich mal eine 5 vergeben.

Lyrically sarcastic, jealous, self-centered, bitter, musically satisfying and unique. This album has some era defining tracks, an excellent narrative of the break down of a relationship played out in a shared band, I've had it in my head for weeks. Love it.

Håller så fruktansvärt bra. Något som slår mig är hur sömnlöst det funkar med 3 leadsångare. Uppfriskande men naturligt.

Best Fleetwood album! Just so feelgood. I often put this on when I need to get in a good mood. Not a single bad song. Really love the songs Dreams and The Chain.

I've heard this one before lol -10/10

Damn that's a good album. Start to finish. Iconic songs that have stood the test of time, and have made the full round from being cool to being "dad rock" uncool to being simply timeless.

fav album. fleetwood mac makes music for witches

One of my favorite albums ever. Had to break out the vinyl to show my respect. Very hard to choose my favorite tracks because they’re all great, but I f I had to choose it would probably be You Make Loving Fun or Gold Dust Woman

Thank the Good Lord Stevie Nicks is such a dirty whore.

O MELHOR DO MUNDO FODASE

Iconic, amazing, almost perfect

Just great

this album is perfect, no notes

A masterpiece, but I'm a little worn out on it. I think every schmuck had this album in their library at some point.

dont even need to listen. its 5 stars

Fleetwood Mac made a masterpiece. Perfect vibe for the weekend.

All classics no skips. 5/5

Just a classic, was waiting for this to pop up. You’re Wrong About has a great episode on this album and the lore behind it!

everyone already knows this album is the shit. doesn't hurt that it has some of their most successful songs on it too

I love this album because of all the drama around it and also so many of the songs are so nostalgic! I don't think I've listened to it front to back in quite a while, so it was nice to revisit. I think the chain is my favorite track

Amazing album, indisputably a top 20 all time. 5/5 y’all know what it isssss

Likely one of my favourite albums of all time. A masterpiece.

I don't need this website to tell me to listen to this album. I already love it!

of course a legendary album

In 1 woord: Fantastisch!

I know this album well. It is solid gold

5.23.25 love this album i know it's, as john mulaney put it, "an album written by and for people cheating on each other" but it sure is a damn fun album

Upbeat, good harmonies, good mixing/balance of each instrument. Subtle organ is really nice and good bass. I was thinking that maybe Dreams would feel overhyped, but it just is so nice to listen to. I did not expect to hear really good fingerpicking guitar (Never Going Back Again) but it is awesome. Never Going Back Again followed by Don't Stop feels a little odd - like almost unbelievable that they are on the same album, especially back to back. Go Your Own Way has some of the best backing music and melodies that I've heard. It's just so interesting to listen to the pieces underneath the voices (the voices are really great too though). The bassline is just sick and backing guitar too. It feels like a band, and feels like they all are contributing and doing something interesting (and having fun). Some of the guitar solos are kinda whatever, but the one on The Chain stands out. I feel like the bass guitar really helps this album stand out. It's really clear - definitely the sound I enjoy from a bass guitar. Album keeps it up through the end - the last song Gold Dust Woman has some really nice guitar on it, and is a great song too (although I could do with less yelling/moaning at the end lmao). I feel a little odd loving the harmonies here when I just yesterday listened to Fleet Foxes - Fleet Foxes, but I think there's more instrumentation in Fleetwood Mac compared to the Fleet Foxes album.

There is little that I can add on this album that hadn't already been said. One of thee singular best collection of music ever recorded. The amount of hits on this record and great songs around the singles is mind blowing. 5 out of 5, would never be anything else. My fave is go your own way quickly followed by songbird.

5/5. Just a great album all around, and I’m not even the biggest Fleetwood Mac fan out there. I understand the gravity of this record and am also enjoying a bit of the comeback that it is experiencing!

Classic for a reason

An album I loved when it released but not so much anymore. Either my music tastes have changed or it hasn’t aged well. Still some great songs and instrumentation though.

Chill.

Absolute classic album. Some massive hits and some solid deep cuts. Great record, always happy to hear these tunes

Muy guapo, tiene temazos míticos como Dreams o The Chain

this is an album I have already really liked, especially dreams and the chain. vibes are light and fun fresh and funky. each song has a different and unique vibe. big fan of Stevie Nicks Very easy listening, an album I think almost everyone likes at least a little, for good reason. The voices complement each other very well, I like when they harmonize. starts off very fun and enjoyable, but the last couple of songs are a little lame. none of the songs stand out to me as particularly amazing but they are all solidly enjoyable!

One of the most iconic albums of all time. The Chain, don't stop, go your own way and dreams are so memorable and iconic, 5/5. There are some songs that don't hit the mark for me, but I wouldn't consider any songs on this album bad by any means. Second Hand News has the "scatting" section that probably shouldn't have made it in the final cut though, but other than that I love this album. I really appreciate the chill vibes, warm and comforting vocals all in one great package deal. A note to the mixing and mastering of this album, I can't find a single thing I would change in this entire album. Every instrument has its groove and nothing overpowers anything else. Listening with good headphones is required to get the spacial aspect of each instrument. Especially the vocals in dreams when the duplicated tracks expand the width of the soundscape coming at me. All around a great album!

An onslaught of greatest hits until you hit the second to last song, “Oh Daddy,” which is also awesome. This is a great record (and yes, I spun the vinyl for this listen).

This is an easy one. What's not to love? There's not a single song that couldn't have been a radio hit, not one. All the bonus tracks are a little useless, but that's not saying much. There's enough for 4 hit albums in the main tracks.

Summary: An incredibly solid album filled with lush harmonies, tasteful arrangements, and powerful lyrics. This is such a darn strong tracklist. You can't really go wrong. The Chain and Go Your Own Way. in particular, are in a league of their own. Fleetwood Mac masters this element of humanity that really allows you to relate to the lyrics and the sound. Second Hand News: Soft, acoustic, energetic. Just a great, hopeful, cheerful mood. A song about wanting freedom, or regretting freedom? Title drop is catchy and climactic. Dreams: Unusual and pretty vocal. The mixing is very radio-friendly - unfortunately, at the expense of the rhythm section (aggressively simplistic at times). Lush yet simple harmonies (three-part?) during chorus. I really like the atmosphere of this album so far - solemn yet hopeful. Never Going Back Again: Folky. Is that only one acoustic guitar? It's really impressive playing, if so. The vocal quality is so on-point in this album - not overbearing, and giving the instrumental time to shine. Fantastic. Don't Stop: Lyrically, the coda (or counterpart) to the Beatles' Yesterday. Lacking some harmony in the vocals - I mean, come on, the "Don't Stop" in the chorus is pretty much begging for it! Solid swing beat and great instrumental layering underneath. Shiny organ sounds especially prominent towards the end. Neat. Go Your Own Way: Drumming is superb here. Chorus is goosebump-inducing... so damn good. Lyrically, a little depressing, but from the song's tune it seems like they're at least breaking up on good terms. Gosh, this track is so uplifting. Tasteful solo with tasteful separate of channels (acoustic vs electric guitars especially). Second solo - first extended solo in the album? Carried out beautifully. I love this track. Songbird: I zoned out. This is a gorgeous track. Simple, yet so darn effective. Not a huge fan of the acoustic guitar fade-ins, although it makes the piano sound that much better by itself. The Chain: Bluesier, more ominous intro. Arrangement is the strongest it's been so far. Overlap/repetition of lyrics in the chorus is catchy. Weird drum sound at 1:30. This is definitely the most varied and unpredictable track so far. Organ, guitars flowing and melting together, tambourine... ear candy. Brilliant use of build-ups and texture change throughout. Unexpected outro. You Make Loving Fun: Even bluesier. I like the dirty guitar, although the transition to a more airy, celestial sound is a bit sudden. The second time this "chorus" shows up, I'm warming up to it, and it's more effective. Outro is very pretty and a fitting way to wrap up the song. I Don't Want To Know: The signature Mac harmonising shows up right at the beginning, and I'm here for it. The song gets a little "monotextural", but it's such a good-sounding texture that I can't really complain. I could see this song closing the album, but of course we've got two more tracks. Oh Daddy: Good singing and atmosphere. Possibly the most "serious"-sounding track on the album, but I can't take the track seriously daddy. Backing vocals lift moments of this song (esp. ~2:50 and ~3:05 - the subtle two-part monosyllable harmony. Oh, Daddy!). Gold Dust Woman: You can tell there's going to be a build-up. When the chorus hits, it hits hard. The backing doesn't change much, but the harmonies are (as usual) gorgeous. Biting lyrics. The outro is lengthy and man, what a way to close an album.

One of my favourite albums, ever.

Before listening, already held as one of my favorite albums of all time. After listening, my opinion was unchanged.

Every track is a gem!

1 of 1001. Rumors! One of my favorite albums and one that we already have on vinyl at home! What a way to start my journey!

One of the best albums ever, guitar riffs on another level, Dreams and The Chain are two of the most iconic songs ever. The only thing better than the music is the story of how it came about.

The benchmark for all five star ratings

The music speaks for itself

One of my favorite albums of all time, my wife was the one to introduce it to me. I love how each band member contributes their own song, and it’s so easy to listen to and enjoy. This album is fantastic!!

Love this album, one of the best of all time

Second Hand News: Very bouncy track to start off with, one I didn't know of previously - it's good. Dreams: I know this one, a more chilled out song from one side of a breakup, also good. Never Going Back Again: Lil' guitar pickin track about moving on - rebounding haha Don't Stop: One I know well, pulsing beat about looking forward - it's a great driving song for me. Go Your Own Way: Also know this one well, very bitter song this one - it's like the drums are smacking the resentment into you by the end. Songbird: A piano ballad love-song - very sweet in the midst of such an emotionally tumultuous album. The Chain: Know this one well too, I'm a really big fan of it - the emotional build-up hits a great spot with the instrumental break and then the lyrical refrains. You Make Loving Fun: Very funky song about that feeling of new love after pain - another different emotion as opposed to the tension in the other songs. I Don't Want to Know: This song has got a sing-along boppy quality to it, feels different to the other songs as well. Oh Daddy: Very moody, lyrics feel very stifling, trapped in something you know is bad for you but can't leave. Gold Dust Woman: Another moody note, the original closer track one that definitely builds up the the emotional end. Silver Springs: It's not in the original album, but I had to include it - what an emotional gut punch this song is, that last chorus repeat is a lot.

Rumours? No, it’s all true.

Classic great memories

15/10/23

Classic after classic. At one point was in my personal top 10 all-time albums.

One of the most celebrated and popular albums of all time, and for good reason. It's almost unfathomable how many all time classics are on here. So relistenable without ever being boring. A masterwork. 5/5

A treasure

Nearly perfect album.

This is a flawless album. Perfection A to Z.

Sjajno

One of the best albums ever made. Not a bad song on here.

This album is just rock solid. Wonderful guitar riffs, great vocals, great concept. 5/5

Bangers

Quite possibly the best collection of music ever put to tape.

Already one of my favorites. Pretty much every song is great.

No two songs are alike and every single one is a damn classic. I can’t imagine not giving this a perfect rating. The recording quality is maybe the best I’ve ever heard. I can imagine how great it was to listen to this at house parties when it came out. My dad was a cop then and told me that almost every noise complaint was Rumours related.

The range, production, chemistry, instrumentation, arrangements, vocals, lyrics are all amazing and I have no complaints. They really got everything right on this one. Nothing more to say. 5/5

Such a good album. I know a lot of people think it's overrated but I disagree. Sets a good vibe for the entire duration of the album. Every song holds up well. Definitely 5 stars!

A lot can be said of this album. The history the tension the music. It’s all what makes this a perfect album. Not many artists can do what fleeteood Mac did on rumours. This is perfection. 10/10

One of the best albums of all time. Infinitely re-listenable. Every song is a diamond.

I have heard some of these songs before but never associated them with the name Fleetwood Mac. I enjoyed this album a lot though!

One of the great albums. Timeless classic.

Visiškai 5/5, vienas iš mylimiausių albumų. Tas nesutarimas albume visų narių labai jaučiasi, ir man tas be galo patinka, iš pykčio sukūrė gerą muziką.

friday soother

I was a big Peter Green fan & when he left Mac, I lost interest. Until I heard (& probably saw)Rhiannon, bought that album in 1975, thereby also buying into the west coast sound that they mastered. That was a good album. This is a great album - it only lets up when you get to the last 3 trax. Up until then it ‘s one banger after another. The 3-vocalist thing is crucial to it’s success, as well as the blend of acoustic & electric, & a rhythm section that had been together for over a decade. Faves? Songbird, Never Going Back Again & Dreams - one from each of the 3 songwriters at the peak of their powers. I just played it through a couple of times & it’s still such a pleasure to hear. I also played the eponymous album, which hasn’t worn nearly as well. As well I dug out Legacy - the tribute to Rumours produced by Fleetwood - average at best. And also a Mac covers album called Tumours (2009) by Sydney band Ripping Dylans - tragic. The original is one of the best.

Fleetwood Mac are my favourite radio band. If one of their songs comes on the radio, I will always turn it up and sing along. Love it. But I never choose to put their records on the turntable (except the Tusk 7”). But this, _this_, is a really great album. The balance of the three songwriters means they are each bringing their A-game, and their approaches complement each other. Buckingham is cynical, Nicks mystical, and McVie optimistic. But then, their voices have their own character, but they sing together so well. It really helps this record to have a significant female viewpoint. If Buckingham had written all the songs, you have to think that his cynicism, almost bordering on bitterness, and tendency to take the centre stage on his own material would have ended up with something more like the Eagles (hock, spit). However, Buckingham's production and guitar is nearly always in service of the song (with significantly less flash than many of his contemporaries, although he certainly has the chops to bring it when required), and McVie's keyboards are sublime. Of course, having one of the greatest rhythm sections in rock doesn't hurt, either. It gets so much radio play, do you really need to play the album? Well, I find not, but I really enjoyed playing this through a few times today. There are some real classic tunes on here, among the best songs of west coast 70s rock; Dreams, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Songbird, You Make Loving Fun, Gold Dust Woman (although I confess, I actually think Courtney love did this better in her cover https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngmhjiR3QOo). This is one of those records where it is easily understood why this is one the highest selling albums of all time. I think the reputation of this record has improved in the past twenty years. It is much more embraced as a classic, rather than the slightly unhip and daggy reputation it had in the early 90s. There's a lot to love about the record; great singing and playing, great songs, it sounds like a million dollars (as it should, considering the recording budget), and the story of all the drama that went with its recording, which adds to the legend of the album. If this isn't a five star album, it's hard to think what would be.

Absolute classic. Not only does it have some of the greatest singles ever, the album flows with great songs and charisma. Few other bands are able to have multiple lead singers work so well.

Always a great listen!

Some really overplayed songs, but a masterpiece I suppose.

I don't think there's anything very useful to say about this. One of the greatest albums of all time that has been dissected by so those more able to than me. I know everything about this album from the numerous documentaries and articles and I also know every song inside out. An extraordinary set of songs, three songwriters at creative peaks at the same time, a sound of a band willing to work in a studio to find the right arrangement and lyrics of love longing and loss. There's a reason that this has sold so many, appears in the best of lists and appeals to people who like all kinds of genres. The best albums are the best albums. This is one of them.

Love this album

I wouldn't be a massive Fleetwood Mac fan, but In my wee humble opinion, Rumours is probably the best album ever produced by Fleetwood Mac. Considering it was released in 1977, there are so many of the tracks on this album that are still played on commercial radio today, such was the calibre of the song writing. I have this album on my own personal library, and would often choose to play many of the tracks regularly. In many ways, this was their peak, as their personal and professional lives started to unravel, but damn this is still a great album.

One of my favorites

I've always been a little lukewarm on Fleetwood Mac, but now that I've really listened to Rumors and read the lyrics, I am a fan. Deep lyrics, fantastic vocal harmonies, and lots of diversity of sound, I really love this album!

Outstanding record

I’ve clearly been sleeping on Rumours! Not a bad song from front to back. Lowest point is “Oh Daddy” but how can you be upset when it’s followed by an amazing song in “Gold Dust Woman”? Not quite a desert island disc, but damn near. 9.5/10

What else can be said, incredible

Pretty stellar, I did not give them the credit they deserved in the past.

It's rumours lmao

It's Rumours... by Fleetwood Mac... Of COURSE it's a five.

1. Second Hand News - banger 2. Dreams - banger 3. Never Going Back Again - banger 4. Don't Stop - banger 5. Go Your Own Way - banger 6. Songbird - banger 7. The Chain - banger 8. You Make Loving Fun - banger 9. I Don't Want to Know - banger 10. Oh Daddy - banger 11. Gold Dust Woman - banger

So many great songs. Super tight album. Love the harmonies. I really like his drumming and sounds.

Iconic album with so many great songs.

So many boos on this. I really can’t believe they were just doing so many drugs and breaking up with each other and then made this record. Love this.

Fantastic album

Absolute classic album. So many great songs.

Such a great pop-rock album. Lindsey Buckingham's guitarwork is astounding and definitely one of the things that make this album so good. He really shines on songs like Second Hand News, an underrated track that is a great album opener where both the guitar and bass drive the song forward, Dreams, where the guitar swells up and down during the song, which is such a perfect pop song, and my favorite of his guitar-playing is probably on Never Going Back Again, such a cool sound and insane playing from Buckingham. The songwriting is great throughout the entire album and you can really feel the tension between both of the couples in the band that had broken up during the making of this album. This is probably what led to the heartfelt sound of this album and something like this will probably never be made ever. Please if you somehow haven't heard this album before, please do. Standout Tracks: Second Hand News, Dreams, Never Going Back Again, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, The Chain

"I Don't Want to Know" is a gem. What an incredible exploration of relationships falling apart, especially when you consider Dreams and Go Your Own Way answers to each other.

Amazing album. Couldn't give it any less the 5 stars

Second time today I'm rating this...the last review didn't take. An absolutely sublime album. A band where all members were firing on all cylinders musically and creatively...not so much romantically. An amazing listen.

I mean…

Lots of very solid songs and variety

If I were to answer "What album is all hits, no placeholders" this would be it.

Absolute classic album

One of my favorites!

Good for a reason

Perhaps the best album ever conceived. Front to back bangers. Every member of FM shows us what they can do at their very best. Which is spectacular when you consider the very REAL personal demons face in its creation. A perfect album.

There it is. In contention for GOAT album. Banger after banger. Variety of lead vocalists, catchy hooks, beautifully constructed tracks. Nearly flawless, wish it were longer than 40 min.

Genialt album - kun med hits

The ratings are on point, this album is class. Parents loved it so very nostalgic but it's great in its own right, it has such a large section of their best songs, must make up most of the greatest hits album. Can't decide if Fleetwood Mac have a sound that noone else seems to be able to copy or that there are loads of similar bands but FM just have way better songs.

I believe that the internal difficulties Fleetwood Mac were having throughout the recording of this album made it what it is. Musicianship without compromise - but what do I know? The album starts off with the weakest track, Second Hand News isn't anything to write home about. Then there are 7 consecutive absolute bangers. Dreams: a jazzy classic, beautifully sung and great lyrics. Pensive, but optimistic, and I love the instrumentation. Never Going Back Again: minimalistic, but then why overcomplicate the wonderful melody Lindsay Buckingham created. Simple. Don't Stop: Great fun. Bit mired now from use in political campaigns, however I enjoy the back and forth with the singing. Go Your Own Way: Can't say much more than what others already have. Anthemic. Songbird: A bit of a reflective pause before the rest of the album - beautiful. The Chain: Another club classic. Reading about how the track was made is pretty fascinating. The track hits from the very start - the guitar over the simple beat highlights the lyrics but also has a sense of urgency, and the quick cymbal stop following the chorus is overlooked. Great fun. You Make Loving Fun: I really like Christine McVie's voice - here it is just enough to make the simple track do what it needs to do. Apparently Christine told her husband the song was about a dog, and not about an affair she was having. Sounds like a right laugh to have been in the band. The album finishes with a couple of nice songs that would themselves stand out on any other album, but they are a bit also-ran here. I like I Don't Want To Know - love the harmonies between Stevie Nicks and Lindsay Buckingham. Oh Daddy is a bit boring, however Gold Dust Woman has entered my listening rotation; it sounds incredibly spooky and I greatly enjoy the structure. What an album!

This was an easy 5 stars because there are some absolute classics on here. A tight 40 minute album that doesn't fuck about (unlike the members of the band). The fact that this was made under all that relationship turmoil is crazy, how do you even continue to collaborate with people after all that mess. Highlights: Dreams Don't Stop Go Your Own Way The Chain Gold Dust Woman

I noticed the high rating of the album and checked how high it is in the rankings.... It's second only to Abbey Road. It's way better than Abbey Road in my opinion. I can't not give it a 5. Dreams alone pretty much makes the album a 5. On the face of it, a lot of the songs sound pretty upbeat, but there's a sadness behind them. The fact that it's only 40 mins long really helps make it great too. Highlights: Dreams Never going back again Go your own way The chain Songbird It does perhaps tail off a bit towards the end but really none of the tracks are bad.

I think part of what makes this album magical is its place on the precipice between acoustic and electric. It retains much of the acoustic soul of the 60s and 70s while obviously pointing towards the glitz and synths of the 80s. The production is second to none. Harmonies are tight. Lyrics are emphatically and effectively delivered. Instrumentation is even better than it needs to be. Not a piece out of perfect place.

Rumours has a solid argument for being the best album of all time. It lives up to and surpasses its reputation, which is the best compliment i can give it.

Love this album

it's a classic

Fuck me, indeed this is perfect album. 5/5

You Make Loving Fun- Very groovy song yet love the ethereal ambiance to it. Wind chimes >>> The Chain- A favorite of mine! Super good building the intensity especially when there is nothing but the bass towards the end and everything ties together Songbird- Very beautiful song, I love how quiet and somber it is. Rhiannon- Very mystical yet classic rock! I love the melodic keyboard and drums. Wait the harmonization in the chorus is so good! I Don't Want To Know- Love the guitar on this song, it's contagious.

Only 40 minutes long, but jam packed with amazing songs.

End not as strong as beginning but still a 10/10

One of those albums it’s hard to say a bad word about. Somehow fun and mystic. Pop, folk, glam, rock. She’s one of a kind.

One of the greatest. I presume anyone that doesn't like this album is either trying to be edgy or has no understanding of songwriting, melody or harmony.

Never break the chain, babe

Not a bad song on the album. Masterpiece start to finish. A truly iconic and legendary album. Top 3 tracks off the album for me are Go Your Own Way, The Chain, and Gold Dust Woman. -Klep

Obviously can only be…

Easiest 5 stars

This album is great

It’s a classic for a reason

*Track 7: The Chain* favourite track is a close tie between the chain, dreams, and you make loving fun. ultimately the chain has an amazing set of crescendos and decrescendos compared to the monotony of dreams. I knew both songs before but I’d never heard you make loving fun (great chorus) so the freshness of that put it into the close tie for first. The album contained a lot recognizable popular radio songs which made it easy to get familiar with quickly. love Stevie Nicks’ voice and the acoustic guitar especially the plucking. added like 4 of the songs into my rotation

One of the greatest albums of all time. Awesome from start to finish!

I’ve heard this a hundred times and would gladly hear it a hundred times again.

One of the greatest albums ever made

This was a great album. So many hits and overall good songs. Dreams, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Gold Dust Woman, and my personal favorite off this album Never Going Back Again, with some of the best acoustic guitar work I've heard

Easy 5/5

Each of these songs is like a swiftly moving train - self contained immovable objects. This album seems to have had multiple resurgences over the past couple decades, and it's easy to hear why. Well written songs, with only a couple that slow down the significant momentum. I have heard this album here and there, but I forgot how many classics are on it. Highly enjoyable listen.

Cocaine's a hell of a drug. And this is a hell of an album.

While the good tracks feel sorta overplayed, and this isn't my favorite Fleetwood Mac album (Tango in the Night), this is still incredible. First time I listened through the entire thing. BT - Dreams - Never Going Back Again - Don't Stop - Go Your Own Way (if it wasn't in that damn drug commercial every single day when i was like 9) - The Chain - Gold Dust Woman - Silver Springs

Best album of all time? Up there, packed with could be singles, every song a hit and every hit a slapp

Timeless classics.

I've never been a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, but I can't deny that this album is 40 minutes of pure pop perfection. Oh Daddy is the only dud on the album. 5 stars.

not a bad song on here

Wow great album, songs I didn't even know was theirs that I love to hear!

Only one of my favourite albums of all time!

This album is a classic! The amount of drama going on within the band can be felt in this a masterpiece! Production is absolutely spectacular

Stereo! Dreams! Wow. Cooli Musig. Vill Stereo, au cool. Aber chli softi Musig. Bi ja scho chli meh dä Perkussion und Bass Typ. Aber scho epischi Liedli. Mol, geil.

Could be my favourite album

This is a 5 star album, but songs like Songbird really slow it down for me. That said, the highs on here are some of the highest highs an albums can give. The making of this album is almost worth 5 stars on its own. One of the best examples for the peak cocaine fueled studio masterpiece era. Find me another album that can go from The Chain to You Make Loving Fun and it not feel jarring.

Obviously one of the all time greats.

Decade defining album. Every different flavour of 70s pop is in here and they still do it better than everyone else.

5 star

p384. 1977. 5 stars. THE sound of late 70s white AOR in just under 39 perfect minutes, and it still sounds fresh today. There is not a weak track on this.

Genres: Pop rock, soft rock Formed: London, England in 1967 Run time: 11 songs, 39 min, 52 sec The eleventh studio album by the band. It achieved massive international success including four singles. After a few bars of music play you know you're listening to Fleetwood Mac. The album sold over 10 million copies worldwide within a month of its release. They were inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In 2017, it was selected for preservation in the National Recording Registry, being deemed "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" by the Library of Congress. In 2020, Rumours was rated the seventh-greatest album of all time in Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time". Except for two tracks, everything else has over 100M plays on Spotify. The most popular song is track 2, “Dream” with over 1.2B plays. Given the turmoil within the band at the time, it’s a miracle the album came to fruition. What resulted was amazing from start to finish. There are no “album tracks” (fillers) here, just one fantastic song after another. Listen Again?: Yes My Rating: *****

Easily top 5 album for me. Front to back every song is great. 5/5

Amazing pop rock album full of classics. Both vocals and instrumentals sound great. The second half is a bit weaker but still good. 4.5/5 Highlights: Never Going Back Again, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, The Chain, Gold Dust Woman

I mean it's Fleetwood Mac and one of their best albums. Absolute classic

How. Is. Every. Song. A. Classic. 10/5 stars. 'nough said.

I'll always listen to the extended version with Silver Spring on it. Absolutely fantastic.

This is one of the best albums ever created.

Hit after hit. Great album. Definitely deserves its place.

Look. I'm about a week behind on albums. But today is my birthday, and this album pops up. It's like a divine gift from the 1001 Albums gods. And I'm not going to NOT accept that gift; I'm gonna skip right ahead to this album. It's always been interesting to me how Fleetwood Mac found most of its renown within the span of a few consecutive albums. They released so many albums, many of which were mostly forgettable, and then hit gold with just a handful of albums in the late 70s through the 80s, only to produce more forgettable albums shortly after that. And this album, their eleventh album, is probably the crown jewel of it all. This album just gets it all so very right. Nearly every single song on this album can be find on a Fleetwood Mac greatest hits album, and for good reason. The songs span rock, pop, folk, and many things in between. The album is cohesive, and yet each song stands completely on its own without the support of any of the others. The pacing of the album is excellent, as well, with perfectly timed highs and lows. "Second Hand News" and "Gold Dust Woman" are absolutely amazingly placed beginning and end caps, respectively. Each instrument can be heard clearly and offers a significant contribution. The harmonies and melodies are excellently executed. The lyrics, music, and production are all just very top notch. With Mick Fleetwood propping a foot up and holding Stevie Nicks' hand as she dances around in her flowing black outfit, even the album art in all of its simplicity just provides the perfect amount of intrigue; I can always picture it so clearly in my mind when I think of this album. Simply put, Rumours is excellent and timeless across the board. I've heard this album so many times, was still excited to get it on this project, and am now going to keep listening to it. This is just one of the best albums ever made, and the easiest 5 I will probably give on this project. Happy birthday to me!

No album with The Chain, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way and Gold Dust Woman is going to get anything less than a Five star rating from me.

Naturally.

It doesn't make sense that a whole album can be this good and complete. Not only is every song great, they're all timeless classics. Entire A side is banger after banger until the melancholy intermission in songbird before B side is banger after banger. Hard to call an album perfect but this is really close. Masterpiece.

After 46 years may be coming around on Fleetwood Mac. So many hits on this one album.

Et av de aller aller beste

Dang. This week I get Abbey Road followed by Rumours? Another masterpiece. I love Lindsay Buckingham's three songs - Second Hand News (my all-time Fleetwood Mac fave, pop brilliance), Never Going Back Again, and Go Your Own Way. The first two even more than the big hit. The guitar work is just so awesome and the sound just resonates (whether plucking or pulsating). All three are so energetic and fun. Stevie Nicks is at her ethereal best on Dreams and Gold Dust Woman - her voice is just so haunting and her lyrics are awesome. With help from Buckingham, her third song I Don't Want to Know is bursting with energy; great vibe. Christine McVie's songs dipped on Tusk but she brings it on Don't Stop (thanks to some help from Buckingham), Songbird (wow, powerful and beautiful), and You Make Loving Fun (song title says it all). Oh Daddy dips ever so slightly but it's pretty powerful too and now that I know the meaning behind the lyrics (Mick Fleetwood is daddy) it's pretty awesome. And I haven't even mentioned perhaps their greatest song, The Chain, a fierce collaborative effort (musically, lyrically, vocally) from all five (even John McVie gets his due here). This is an incredible album. One of the absolute best of all time.

O melhor

Never listened to it before! All killer, no filler! No wonder they’re such a big deal, lol

Short but oh so lovely. I listened with cynicism, knowing it is a highly rated album (the highest?) but it is just perfect. Songbird had me welling up. There is variety and quality throughout. Wonderful, an easy five stars.

Every single song on this album is a five.

Very special album, wonderful!

It's rumors

Suicide's debut from 1977 yesterday, and today Fleetwood Mac's Rumours, also from 1977. I love them both, and I love that this is possible. The Buckingham/Nicks songs everyone knows (well, everyone knows everything on this album, but the ones EVERYONE knows) are the big hits, while Christine McVie's stuff pushes it into the stratosphere. You Make Loving Fun and Songbird are just.... Only thing wrong with this album is it doesn't have Silver Springs on it, one of their very best songs. Swap it in for Oh Daddy. Also it starts with a fairly average rocker. But that's all forgotten from Dreams onwards. If I'm honest, not including Silver Springs is a crime so stupid it's worthy of losing a star, but I'm not going to be daft.

banger

12 tracks, and almost all of them are pop rock masterpieces. They have a distinctive cool western sound from their heavy incorporation of blues and bluegrass. It deserves its fame. Countless catchy and melodic hits, excellent production, and excellent instrumentation, from the clean twingly guitar to pounding drum beats to the dramatic vocalists who each have their own personalities. Only song I wasn't crazy about was the ballad "Songbird", but it's still pleasant on its own.

Still a banger of an album all the way through.

It's pretty much perfect, banger after banger, with something for everyone. It's not the most creative or groundbreaking album ever, but it is consistently fantastic, and likely to please everyone around you. Best suited for a garden party or bbq with family in good weather, something for everyone here. 18/05/23

Might sell a few copies

Rock solid album, one of the best ever

Incontestable album de cabecera!!

I’ve been meaning to listen to this album for a while as Fleetwood Mac just seem like the band that’s impossible to hate, and o think after listening to Rumours I can safely say that has to be true because this is fantastic. Every song on here is as beautiful as the last and the whole album really embodies some soul. I also didn’t realise how many hits there were on this album such as “Don’t Stop” and “Go Your Own Way” in which both I’d heard before not realising they were made by Fleetwood Mac. Of course there’s also the gorgeous “Dreams” with a really smooth tempo and relaxed instrumental really letting the vocals stand out, similarly with “Never Going Back Again” the instrumental is pretty straightforward but it’s so pleasing to the ear. Would also like to point out the amazing “The Chain” which embody a real groove paired with dueting vocals and a really satisfying instrumental ending makes this song so perfect. It’s without mentioning but of course the rest of the songs are brilliant too. This album instantly feels like a classic when you listen to it I can’t praise it enough, definitely one of my favourite first listens on this list.

Nothing I could say hasn’t been said about this album. Perfection.

Classique! Un album sans faux pas. 5

One of the best

I use this site to find new albums, this isn't one of them

I mean, come on. It’s just brilliant

Not really much to add. Deserving in its place as one of the greatest of all time.

I almost never do this but 5/5

One of the most enjoyable albums from start to finish. Fun and powerful

Simply one of the best albums of all time from start to finish.

What can you say about an album that's almost universally loved. Listened to this over and over too at the time. Listening back now it's extremely pleasant with tremendously catchy tunes, perfect harmonies, guitar solos and a slight edge to the meaning behind the lyrics. Flawless.

One of the best by one of the best.

One of the best, seeing these guys live was a treat! The fact that this is such a revenge album to eachother makes it even sweeter - there is no way this album should even exist!

Easiest 5 stars I will ever give. I don't think there's anything else that needs to be said.

best. album. ever.

I actually bought this on vinyl and listened to it this Monday. It’s an album made for vinyl. This is just the best album of all time.

I mean this one is such an obvious 5. This isn’t a style of music I normally seek out so I hadn’t listened to this album all the way through until today. I didn’t even know “don’t stop” was a Fleetwood Mac song. Every song on here is such well written, performed, and produced. A perfect listen for a spring day. Cover art: 9/10 they gave him balls lmao

Don’t need to say much about this one. Pretty much every song is a classic and it could be a greatest hits album for most other bands. The production still holds up and all the songs have really well constructed harmonies, instrumentation, and melodies. The moodier songs like dreams, gold dust woman, and the chain were my favorites this time around listening to the album and contrast some of the more pop sounding songs well. 👍: dreams, the chain, go your own way

Such a classic. Probably one of the most universally liked albums out there. We’re gonna break this thing down track by track. 1. Second hand news - one of the more upbeat tracks and a CERTIFED BANGER. Also a staple in my families line dances (iykyk). 2. Dreams - What more needs to be said about this song? TIMELESS. 3. Never going back - Underrated track. Leslie buckingham shows why he is HIM. Very cool and impressive fingerpicking pattern. 4. Don’t stop - CERTIFIED BANGER once again. One of the best choruses on the album., if not the best. Songs got a nice bounce to it. 5. Go your own way - Kind of cool how this song is written/sung by Leslie Buckingham about his breakup w stevie nicks while they’re both still in the band. And of course it’s another CERTIFIED BANGER. 6. Songbird - Slow things down about but solid songwriting here. Also I was playing this at work and one of my coworkers shared that she cries to this song. 7. The chain - that drum in the back just makes you want to stomp your foot. Harmonies are too good on this. Song builds up to the chorus so well. This chorus is also one of the top on the album. CERTIFIED BANGER. Also the outro is sick 8. You make loving fun - Underrated. Harmonies + instrumental during that chorus is magical. Vocals are just so soothing. 9. I don’t want to know - A little country twang w this one. It’s fun and it’s good 10. Oh daddy- Prob the weakest track to me. But it’s not bad. Let’s be clear in that there are no misses here 11. Gold dust woman- stevie nicks does her hippy vibes thing here again and it works. It always works. Pretty dope stuff here. Songwriting is split almost evenly between bucking ham, nicks and mcvie. Heard before: All Favorites: dreams, go your own way, the chain, you make loving fun. The hard fought MMM today goes to: IF YOU DONT LOVE ME KNOW YOU WILL NEVER LOVE ME AGAIN I CAN STILL HERE YOU SAYING YOU WILL NEVER BREAK THE CHAIN.

CLASSIC!

Easy to dismiss because it is so familiar but what an amazing set of songs.

well deserved 5

So many incredible, all-time hits on this album as well as some that should've been.

For first few songs I thought it's gonna be a simple but next level kind of album, but no... It is just next level.

An absolute classic of a record with some instantly recognisable tracks and a couple I didn't really know. While it's mostly a bit softer and more pop-infused than the kind of rock music I usually most like, this is just an undisputed classic. Amazing vocals, harmonies, riffs, just a brilliant timeless classic of an album. And of course, for me The Chain will always be associated with Formula 1 - It may be impossible not to step on the gas when the outro kicks in. Favourite: The Chain

One of my all time favorites.

A great listen through and through
