I enjoyed the songs that played with the contrast between sweet little tune and aggressive/manic sound.

Some of the music could possibly be a bit enjoyable, but I really dislike Beck’s voice. Is his jaw wired shut while he sings?

I can appreciate how this was influential, but I do not enjoy it at all.

I really loved this and can’t believe this was 1977. Hearing the sounds that influenced so many of my favorite 80s bands was a real treat.

It’s enjoyable

I know this is genius, but I am not into it.

Now this was truly bizarre. I had some interest in it since I live in Illinois and the music was quite curious as well as the themes of several songs. I might actually return to this to listen more closely to some of the lyrics. Weirdly fun!

One of my absolute favorite albums. The memories this brings back are priceless, but some of these songs that were not overplayed on the radio in the 80s are now also some of my favorites. I especially love “The Chauffeur.” 10/10

I really enjoyed this album! I think one of the things that I like is the unpredictability of each of the songs. Definitely not your standard repeat of chorus. Definitely Not my usual type of music; glad I listened!

This was like listening to the origin story of all the new wave bands I love.

Havalina is one of my all time favorite songs.

Didn’t realize I also like early Tom Petty, especially Breakdown, Mystery Man, American Girl.

I can appreciate this, although I would not seek it out. Glad I listened.

True Love ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ I’m so glad this was assigned for the weekend since I probably listened to the album 7 or 8 times. Coincidence that we got it the day after she died? Favorite songs have changed a bit since I was young - Cemetry Gates and There is a Light.

I’m floored. I had no idea Coolio ripped off Stevie’s song “Pastime Paradise” and then had the nerve to get peeved when Weird Al released “Amish Paradise.” Also I didn’t realize that I really enjoy Stevie Wonder.
